  oftentimes this kind of like doom and gloom energy that comes

  around and we start talking about the shadowy nature of

  eclipses and eclipse cycles. But I'm telling you, the

  astrology building up and baked into this eclipse, it's nothing
• 0:34
  to fear. This is actually a really
• 0:36
  beautiful new nation. And there's so many creative
• 0:38
  relational resources that are coming in hot this week leading
• 0:41
  up to that eclipse. And when I say good cosmic
• 0:43
  weather, I'm talking about Venus picking up dignity, Mercury
• 0:46
  leaving retrograde shadow and the sun.

  And Leo is going to receive some of Saturn's help to maybe have
• 0:51
  some more sustainability when it comes to our creative fires in
• 0:53

  not always the most fun, but personally I think they are some

  All right, let's go ahead. Let's jump into today's episode.

  I'm so excited to get to these transits and these songs
• 3:37
  starting with I think our main star of the show this week,
• 3:40
  which is Venus. It starts on Thursday, August
• 3:42
  6th. The moon is going to be in
• 3:44
  Taurus, Venus's sign we love. And on that same day, Venus is
• 3:47
  officially going to enter into Libra, where Venus is going to
• 3:50
  return to. Because don't forget, we've got
• 3:53
  that Venus retrograde coming up later this year in early October
• 3:56
  into November. And so while a Venus retrograde
• 3:59
  isn't always the most fun transit to live through, it's
• 4:01
  also a little bit sweet that we're going to get Venus
• 4:03
  dignified in her home sign of Libra with a little bit extra
• 4:06
  time, a little bit extra space. So before I talk about Venus
• 4:09
  entered into Libra and how she is making the most magic during
• 4:12
  this week's transits, I want to just give a little bit of a call
• 4:15
  back to the Venus retrograde in Aries that happened back in the
• 4:18
  spring in March, April of 2025. S think back just over a year
• 4:22
  ago when we had that Venus retrograde, it was crossing over
• 4:25
  the Aries, Pisces threshold, the Saturn, Neptune conjunction that
• 4:29
  happened earlier this year. And so this fall in October is
• 4:32
  going to be the next official Venus retrograde cycle.
• 4:35
  And our chance, our opportunity to do a little bit of a
• 4:38
  heroine's journey and diving deeper into reflecting and
• 4:42
  refining our relationship to our own values, to our pleasures, to
• 4:46
  our people. I know that for me, in the
• 4:48
  spring of 2025, I look back to that time in that cycle and
• 4:51
  there was a complete reset when it came to my relationship and
• 4:55
  my standard around all of those things I just mentioned.
• 4:58
  And yes, it required some deep shadow work, going a little bit
• 5:02
  more into the territory that sometimes it's not so easy to
• 5:05
  look at or to get uncomfortably honest with what's working and
• 5:08
  what's no longer working. And it's also deeply rewarding.
• 5:11
  So I am so inspired and I'm excited to announce a little

  cover not only the astrology of the venous retrograde cycles and

  now, because right now we are not in that territory.

  We get some time with Venus and Libra in the beginning of this
• 5:56
  transit where we get to really just reap the rewards of her
• 5:59
  being dignified in her place of domicile and comfort.
• 6:02
  In this transition, we might feel it even more significantly
• 6:06
  or it stands out a little bit more to us because Venus isn't
• 6:09
  just entering her domicile, she's leaving the place of her
• 6:12
  fall. Venus has been in Virgo for the
• 6:13
  last few weeks. And for me, I layer on the fact
• 6:15
  that that's happening in my 12th house and Oh my God, you guys,
• 6:18
  the voice of the inner critic was literally haunting me.
• 6:22
  It was haunting my capacity to just feel like I could live in a
• 6:25
  heart open space, like there was always something for my mind to
• 6:27
  find that was wrong or there could be better.
• 6:30
  It was really good at diagnostics and improvements.
• 6:32
  But when it comes to themes of pleasure and joy and
• 6:34
  relationships or love Venus themes, I mean, it doesn't
• 6:37
  really help much when we're in that Virgo hyper critical state
• 6:40
  of mind. So am I alone here or did
• 6:42
  anybody else feel that kind of crunchiness of the Venus and
• 6:45
  Virgo transit? And how excited are we that now
• 6:48
  Venus gets to come into Libra and gets to almost invite our
• 6:51
  hearts back open with this shift of dignity for Venus.
• 6:54
  This gives us a shift in our dignity to feel those things.
• 6:57
  And not only that, but Venus returning into to Libra.
• 7:00
  What is Venus going to do? Venus is going to activate that
• 7:03
  Barbo's basket. Venus is going to make a
• 7:05
  grandeur trine with Pluto and Aquarius and Uranus and Gemini
• 7:08
  and then perfect an actual kite formation with an opposition to
• 7:11
  Neptune in Aries and then eventually that opposition to
• 7:14
  Saturn in Aries as well. So it almost feels like Venus
• 7:17
  arrives home and right away she was throwing this glamorous
• 7:21
  party with these outer planets. She is taking off, taking lift
• 7:25
  off. Whenever we think of the sign
• 7:26
  Libra, we think of things like balance, justice, harmonism,
• 7:30
  social harmonics. And it's just oh so perfect.
• 7:33
  Because if you remember on my original episode introducing
• 7:36
  this Barbeau's basket, I was calling this the cosmic tuning

  fork. And now it's like we have Venus
• 7:42
  in Libra, the expert in harmonization entering the
• 7:44
  conversation, entering all of our creative collaborative

  dynamics and new starting points.

  And so where there might have felt like an edginess or a sharp
• 7:53
  tone in the mix, I'm hoping that this week with Venus activating
• 7:56
  these transits, there's a little bit more natural ease, flow,
• 8:00
  grace, maybe even an introduction to some new people
• 8:03
  or connections that suddenly we have the full team on board, the
• 8:06
  final member of the band that kind of just ties everything
• 8:09
  together and something to kind of pay attention to.

  As Venus enters into lever this week and aspects these planets,
• 8:14
  what connections do you recognize are naturally

  vibrating at this new pitch of life?

  And where are you recognizing something has gone flat?

  And that can be in a relationship or it can also be

  in your own creative projects. What's lighting you up or what

  in Libra is going to make the trying to Pluto retrograde at 3°

  of Aquarius and the opposition to Neptune retrograde in Aries

  at 4°. And then on Tuesday August 11th,

  that's when Venus is going to make that exact trine to Uranus
• 8:58
  and Gemini at five degrees. So definitely this weekend is

  building up to the crescendo coming earlier in the week.

  This is definitely a weekend to get out, to socialize, to put
• 9:06
  yourself into places and experiences that really light up
• 9:09
  those pleasure zones, those joy zones, those heart opening
• 9:12

  training Saturn in Aries. Whenever we have the Sun and

  Saturn coming together, we're always going to have themes of
• 12:16
  imposter syndrome, of self doubt that are going to show up in a
• 12:19
  hard aspect. It's a heavy existential crisis
• 12:22
  potentially of self doubt or imposter syndrome.
• 12:25
  But my feeling is that with this trying between the Sun and
• 12:27
  Saturn, this feels like a supportive opportunity need for
• 12:30
  us to actually overcome, rise above any barriers or
• 12:34
  limitations that we've been imposing on ourselves.
• 12:36
  From listening to that voice of the imposter syndrome telling us
• 12:39
  that we're not ready, that we don't have what it takes, that
• 12:42
  we need to go learn something else, or we need to be older.
• 12:44
  Or sometimes I hear imposter syndrome and clients who are
• 12:47
  like, I'm too old, it's too late.
• 12:49
  All of that nonsense is like a wet blanket on the hearth of our
• 12:53
  creative life, on our sense of feeling inspired and also
• 12:56
  confident to follow through and take action on the things that
• 12:59
  we're inspired. So this is definitely a
• 13:01
  supportive transit between the Sun and Saturn on this day.
• 13:03

  And then finally, on Thursday, we're going to have Mercury

  officially leave its retrograde shadow and cancer.

  So this is the point where we are finally in the territory
• 14:04
  that is fresh out of the retrograde shadows and the
• 14:07
  retrograde reflections, revisions, maybe just a lot of
• 14:09
  crying during that Mercury retrograde.

  Now Mercury is moving forward into new territory and into new
• 14:14
  understanding, new ideas that are going to start coming in.
• 14:17
  And just a few days later, on Sunday, Mercury's officially
• 14:19
  going to enter into Leo's. So starting on Thursday, we're
• 14:22
  coming out of the retrograde waters.
• 14:24
  We're almost kind of walking out of the water, starting to just
• 14:27
  let the sun begin to dry us off and maybe start burning away
• 14:30
  some of the Cancer insecurities or fears that might have been
• 14:33
  coming up and maybe even amplified during that retrograde
• 14:36
  and starting to shift the microphone from I can't to I
• 14:40
  can't give up. So the song choice that I have

  for Mercury Leaving's retrograde shadow is vision blurred by

  Our vision has definitely been blurred and still might feel a

  little bit watery and sensitive because Mercury is going to be

  in Cancer until Sunday. But we're on our way out of that

  water, on our way into inviting new perspective, new ideas and

  new vision. We are unblurring the vision

  We are broadcasting our own unique authentic voices.

  impact it might have. There is this courage and

  And as we know, as Mercury enters into Leo in these early

  degrees, Mercury is also going to join Venus by making these

  outer planet aspects, starting with that opposition to Pluto

  and Aquarius a trying to Neptune and then that sextile to Uranus

  and Gemini. So we're reactivating the Barbos

  basket with Mercury. And the way I want you to think

  about this transit is in what ways can I more confidently or

  boldly broadcast my own self-expression?

  What would it be like to communicate, to speak, to ask

  questions from a more authentic place?

  Giving my ideas center stage, getting into conversation and

  sharing what it is that lights me up, what I'm excited about.

  This is definitely a great time to put things into motion when

  it comes to your communications, when it comes to putting your

  The Moon's going to enter into Leo, so joining the Mercury

  Mars is going to enter into Cancer and have a loss of

  dignity. Mars is in its fall or place of
• 17:28
  depression in the sign of Cancer.

  Throwback to the Mars retrograde that we had in the end of 2024

  of when it was opposing Pluto across the Cancer Leo, Capricorn
• 17:38
  Aquarius access. It was so loud.

  It was really don't ever take me back to that retrograde.

  It was not fun. So there might be a little like
• 17:46
  echoes of the past from that retrograde.

  Hopefully we're standing in a new vantage point, a new vantage
• 17:51
  point of our own agency and self assertion and also our
• 17:54
  relationship to that fallen Mars and Cancer.

  Like what does that really mean? Mars is our planet of drive of
• 18:00
  of willpower. It's our anger.
• 18:02
  It's the energy that fuels us to take action on the things that
• 18:05
  we desire, to go after what it is that we want.

  But Mars being in its fall, this is a little bit of a warped
• 18:11
  willpower. This can show up as instead of
• 18:13
  having agency with consciousness, we have more of a
• 18:16
  reactive agency. There's a little bit more of an
