- 0:08Speaker 1: Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to
- 0:13Speaker 1: the Naughty But Nice Show. I'm your host, Rob Shooter.
- 0:15Speaker 1: It's Friday. We're having technical issues this week. I'm so
- 0:18Speaker 1: sorry about this, Naughties. So Corey cannot join us. God
- 0:21Speaker 1: bless him. He is up and ready to go, and
- 0:23Speaker 1: we just couldn't figure it out. It is so annoying,
- 0:25Speaker 1: but over the weekend, we'll get the tech team to
- 0:27Speaker 1: figure this out. What time is it, my friends? It
- 0:30Speaker 1: is tea time. Big story at the top of the show,
- 0:32Speaker 1: a breaking story at the top of the show. So
- 0:35Speaker 1: Megan Markle, has cut ties with her dad. We now
- 0:38Speaker 1: know why she did that. She's saying it was to
- 0:40Speaker 1: protect her children after these new disturbing allegations. Meghan Markle's
- 0:45Speaker 1: estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., is under investigation following allegations
- 0:52Speaker 1: that he possessed a large collection of child pornography, including...
- 0:57Speaker 1: images and videos with children, with minors. His son, Thomas
- 1:02Speaker 1: Markle Jr., claims he discovered the materials on phones, computers,
- 1:07Speaker 1: a hard drive, and other items at his father's home
- 1:10Speaker 1: in the Philippines. Now, Markle Sr. has denied possessing all
- 1:15Speaker 1: this material, calling them sick liars, and even going on
- 1:18Speaker 1: now to say it's all fake, fake news. Meghan has
- 1:22Speaker 1: had to issue a statement from this and she is
- 1:24Speaker 1: now revealing that the troubling allegations against her father were
- 1:29Speaker 1: brought to her attention in 2018 by the British authorities,
- 1:34Speaker 1: explaining why she chose now to keep him away from
- 1:38Speaker 1: her children. She said the following, quote, I am deeply
- 1:42Speaker 1: distressed at the news that has come to light in
- 1:45Speaker 1: the last 24 hours. She went on to reveal that
- 1:55Speaker 1: a letter containing these disturbing allegations against her father had
- 2:00Speaker 1: been sent to London's Metropolitan Police eight years ago. She
- 2:06Speaker 1: knew about this for eight years. She said, quote, was
- 2:10Speaker 1: subsequently shared with me. She added that she had been assured,
- 2:16Speaker 1: absolutely assured, that the allegations were being investigated. Now, Meghan
- 2:20Speaker 1: did not reveal the content of the letter or identify
- 2:24Speaker 1: who sent it to the authorities. She also did not
- 2:28Speaker 1: clarify whether the complaint was made before or after her
- 2:33Speaker 1: May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. The Duchess said the
- 2:38Speaker 1: revelations were should help explain why she chose to keep
- 2:43Speaker 1: her father away from her family. She said, quote, She added, quote, Now,
- 3:08Speaker 1: the latest reports do stem after his son, Thomas Markle Jr.,
- 3:13Speaker 1: claims he was at his dad's home in the Philippines
- 3:16Speaker 1: and he was searching for a cell phone. And that's
- 3:19Speaker 1: when he came across the sexual abuse material. He alleges
- 3:24Speaker 1: that the material includes videos, images depicting children that were
- 3:29Speaker 1: subsequently discovered, additional material on electronic devices and storage devices.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Megan's half-sister, Samantha. Remember Samantha? She's been out there a
- 3:40Speaker 1: lot talking about her sister. She has described the allegations
- 3:44Speaker 1: against her father as unsubstantiated. So she does not believe these.
- 3:49Speaker 1: This is going to open a lot of questions. So
- 3:52Speaker 1: Megan has now revealed... that she knew about this, or
- 3:54Speaker 1: at least heard about it, in 2018. That's a while ago.
- 3:59Speaker 1: And yet she said nothing. What did the palace know?
- 4:03Speaker 1: Did the king know? Did the king, did the palace
- 4:06Speaker 1: tell Meghan not to say anything? I know that if
- 4:09Speaker 1: somebody in my inner circle, had they been accused of this,
- 4:14Speaker 1: if I thought this had happened, I would shout it
- 4:17Speaker 1: from the rooftops. I would call the police. Meghan has
- 4:22Speaker 1: been very comfortable saying, talking about Windsor secrets. Yet it
- 4:26Speaker 1: turns out the biggest secret here is not a Windsor secret,
- 4:30Speaker 1: it's a Markle. It's a Markle secret. And she said nothing.
- 4:35Speaker 1: In her defense, it is often the case that the
- 4:38Speaker 1: police ask you not to say anything during an investigation.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So while an investigation is ongoing, They often want you
- 4:46Speaker 1: to say nothing, but then you could be accused of
- 4:50Speaker 1: being involved in a cover-up. What makes this so damaging
- 4:53Speaker 1: to the British royal family is the former Prince Andrew,
- 4:57Speaker 1: the disgraced Prince Andrew. There has been a lot of
- 4:59Speaker 1: questions about the cover-up. What did the palace know? Who
- 5:03Speaker 1: knew what when? Why did they not say anything? Did
- 5:05Speaker 1: they cover up? Now, fingers are going to be wagging.
- 5:09Speaker 1: People are going to be looking to see if the
- 5:12Speaker 1: palace is complicit in doing this again. Did the king know?
- 5:18Speaker 1: If the police went to Meghan, maybe before or after
- 5:21Speaker 1: her wedding in 2018, the year she got married, I'm
- 5:25Speaker 1: pretty sure. they will have told the king too. I'm
- 5:28Speaker 1: pretty sure that the palace knew all this stuff. And
- 5:33Speaker 1: if they did, why was nothing said? At the time,
- 5:38Speaker 1: the excuse was that dad had heart issues and couldn't
- 5:41Speaker 1: come to the wedding. And then the king, he jumped
- 5:44Speaker 1: in to walk Meghan down the aisle. Her dad couldn't
- 5:47Speaker 1: walk her down the aisle. So the king, God bless him,
- 5:50Speaker 1: he stood in and he did his duty. He did
- 5:54Speaker 1: the right thing by Meghan. Now We have to ask,
- 5:58Speaker 1: did he? Did he know? Did he know what was
- 6:01Speaker 1: going on? Did he know these really ugly, serious allegations?
- 6:05Speaker 1: And did he decide to say and do nothing? It's massive,
- 6:10Speaker 1: massive questions that are being asked today. This royal family
- 6:14Speaker 1: is in absolute turmoil. My insider this morning said to me,
- 6:18Speaker 1: thank goodness they're five hours ahead. So when I hit
- 6:21Speaker 1: the phones really early, thank you for answering your phones
- 6:23Speaker 1: over there in the UK. But my sources said, maybe
- 6:27Speaker 1: the Markle who will take down the royal family is
- 6:30Speaker 1: not Meghan, but it is her dad, Thomas. Wow, that's big.
- 6:36Speaker 1: That's really, really big. This story is breaking. It's going
- 6:40Speaker 1: to develop. We're going to keep on top of it.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Nobody covers the royals like we do. I think it's
- 6:44Speaker 1: because I'm a very curious person. I'm a very good reporter.
- 6:48Speaker 1: But I used to work for the British royal family.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Remember in my PR days, one of my clients was
- 6:53Speaker 1: Princess Michael of Kent. So I know this family well,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and I know the crisis, and I know the meetings,
- 6:58Speaker 1: and I know how they operate. There is a meltdown
- 7:02Speaker 1: today inside Buckingham Palace. They do not know what to do.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Should they issue a statement? Should they clarify? What happens?
- 7:12Speaker 1: This is what one source told me. What happens if
- 7:15Speaker 1: Meghan comes forward and says, I wanted to go public
- 7:20Speaker 1: with this, and the king told me not to. At
- 7:22Speaker 1: the time, he was the Prince of Wales, but the
- 7:25Speaker 1: Queen was still alive. Did the Queen want this covered up?
- 7:28Speaker 1: Is there a cover-up that has been going on for
- 7:32Speaker 1: years within the palace to protect another alleged paedophile? This
- 7:38Speaker 1: is on the heels of the disgraced Prince Andrew and
- 7:42Speaker 1: Geoffrey Epstein. Is another child sexual abuse allegations going to
- 7:49Speaker 1: rock the house of Windsor? Hey, there's no poll today.
- 7:52Speaker 1: We don't do polls whenever we have such a serious subject.
- 7:56Speaker 1: So let's move on to our next story. Matthew Perry's
- 7:58Speaker 1: harrowing private funeral details are now being revealed in a
- 8:02Speaker 1: new documentary. I have feelings about that. I'm not quite
- 8:05Speaker 1: sure they should be. There's a new Netflix documentary about
- 8:08Speaker 1: Matthew Perry and his sister sits down, Mia, and does
- 8:12Speaker 1: an interview and she recalls a moment when Jennifer Aniston
- 8:15Speaker 1: hugged her before walking down the aisle with all the
- 8:18Speaker 1: five surviving cast members. Oh, can you imagine? Oh, it's
- 8:23Speaker 1: just heartbreaking. The five of them standing there looking at
- 8:26Speaker 1: Matthew's casket. The sister said the following, that she started
- 8:31Speaker 1: to laugh. Gosh, that sounds odd. And the reason that
- 8:34Speaker 1: she giggled was she could see her brother saying to her,
- 8:37Speaker 1: how effed up is this? It was that moment where
- 8:40Speaker 1: she could picture what her brother said. would say, sounds morbid,
- 8:44Speaker 1: doesn't it? Sounds even a little bit sick, but I've
- 8:46Speaker 1: got to confess, my mom's now 90. And so we
- 8:48Speaker 1: do talk about what happens next. She's made her final arrangements.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And I wish she could come to this funeral and
- 8:55Speaker 1: be there because she'll be there in spirit because she's
- 8:58Speaker 1: going to thoroughly enjoy it. She picked all her favorite songs.
- 9:02Speaker 1: She knows what hymns we're going to sing. And so
- 9:04Speaker 1: at my mom's funeral, I think I am going to think, wow,
- 9:08Speaker 1: mom would have loved to have been here. And that's
- 9:11Speaker 1: what matthew's sister thought too he would say how effed
- 9:15Speaker 1: up is this and so just a little bit of
- 9:18Speaker 1: humor a little bit of of like joy in such
- 9:23Speaker 1: a ugly ugly dark day it's tricky though i'm sure
- 9:27Speaker 1: jen and the cast of friends don't want this stuff
- 9:31Speaker 1: revealed it was a private private moment and now talking
- 9:35Speaker 1: about it publicly particularly in a documentary i'm sure that's
- 9:38Speaker 1: going to bring up A lot of feelings, too. So
- 9:40Speaker 1: a tricky, a tricky item there. Some joy, but also, too,
- 9:45Speaker 1: there's going to be a lot of anger that this
- 9:47Speaker 1: sister is doing this. Okay, moving along. Harry Styles has
- 9:51Speaker 1: been caught in a really heated exchange with an aggressive
- 9:54Speaker 1: autograph seeker in New York City. Harry lost his cool
- 9:58Speaker 1: when an aggressive autograph seeker... this is not a fan.
- 10:00Speaker 1: This wasn't somebody who, a young kid who wanted their
- 10:03Speaker 1: album signed. No, this was, at least to me, it
- 10:06Speaker 1: looked like a professional autograph seeker. These are people who
- 10:09Speaker 1: get celebrity autographs and then they sell them on eBay
- 10:11Speaker 1: or they sell them online. So the singer was dressed
- 10:14Speaker 1: in a hoodie and a baseball cap. He had his
- 10:16Speaker 1: earbuds in and he initially ignored the man. as he
- 10:19Speaker 1: started to follow him down the street but the encounter
- 10:22Speaker 1: escalated and escalated and then both were seen yelling at
- 10:25Speaker 1: each other and pointing fingers it was not nice a
- 10:27Speaker 1: third man eventually stopped in to help so the autograph
- 10:31Speaker 1: seeker was clutching harry styles album and he continued to
- 10:36Speaker 1: try and talk to him and walk with him if
- 10:40Speaker 1: you know anything about harry he tries to have as
- 10:42Speaker 1: normal a life as possible. It's not that normal. But
- 10:44Speaker 1: every day when he's performing at the Garden, I think
- 10:46Speaker 1: he's doing a 30-night residency at the Garden, 30 nights.
- 10:50Speaker 1: It's sold out. He lives in Brooklyn. He walks across
- 10:52Speaker 1: the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan. It's his little bit of
- 10:56Speaker 1: joy for the day. And now, unfortunately, these autograph seekers,
- 11:00Speaker 1: these professional autograph seekers, they've cottoned on to it. They
- 11:04Speaker 1: know where he's going to be. They know what time.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And so they turn up and then they sell these autographs.
- 11:09Speaker 1: And so that's what was going on here. Harry's no fool.
- 11:11Speaker 1: He knew it. I'm told he's a really nice guy.
- 11:14Speaker 1: If you're a fan and you see Harry, he'll stop,
- 11:16Speaker 1: he'll smile, he'll sign stuff. But if you're a professional
- 11:19Speaker 1: who's there, not because you love him or his music,
- 11:21Speaker 1: but you want to make a quick buck, then I
- 11:23Speaker 1: think Harry has every right to be angry with it. Unfortunately, though,
- 11:27Speaker 1: he can't stop it. As long as there's no assault,
- 11:31Speaker 1: there's nothing illegal going on there. Walking up to somebody
- 11:34Speaker 1: on a street, it's not private property. Harry might have
- 11:38Speaker 1: to start giving up. His daily walk, which I'm told
- 11:41Speaker 1: he loves, it centers him and maybe jumping in a car. Okay, quickly,
- 11:47Speaker 1: before we go to break, Timothee Chalamet has gone viral
- 11:51Speaker 1: for ignoring all the other Victoria's Secret models and only
- 11:54Speaker 1: looking at his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. So Kylie Jenner controversially
- 11:57Speaker 1: hit the runway at Victoria's Secret. The Oscar nominee was
- 12:01Speaker 1: spotted in the front row, but he was looking at
- 12:02Speaker 1: his phone and his eyes were down whenever any other
- 12:06Speaker 1: model was on the runway. He only actually looked up
- 12:09Speaker 1: to see Kylie now some people are saying this is
- 12:11Speaker 1: just adorable and respectful and so nice of him other
- 12:14Speaker 1: people are saying how rude for all the other ladies
- 12:18Speaker 1: there are a lot of people up there working strutting
- 12:21Speaker 1: their stuff showing how fabulous they are can you imagine
- 12:26Speaker 1: it full hair and makeup you've got your confidence on
- 12:29Speaker 1: you're in your underwear you're about to storm down a
- 12:32Speaker 1: runway maybe even wearing angel wings and they're on the
- 12:36Speaker 1: front row someone's on their cell phone now People defending
- 12:40Speaker 1: him are saying, this is such a gentleman. He does
- 12:42Speaker 1: not want to look at other women in their knickers. No,
- 12:45Speaker 1: he only has eyes for Kyla. Get over it, my friend.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It feels... A little much to me. I'm sure your
- 12:52Speaker 1: relationship will survive you sitting in the same room as
- 12:56Speaker 1: a few models. If you were that vulnerable, if you
- 13:00Speaker 1: were that insecure about your relationship, that you're not allowed
- 13:05Speaker 1: to look at another woman, then I think you've got
- 13:08Speaker 1: a lot of problems. For me, it felt rude. Fans
- 13:11Speaker 1: are saying it was awfully, awfully sweet. Let me know
- 13:14Speaker 1: what you think. Hey, we're going to take a quick
- 13:16Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 13:20Speaker 1: the Naughty But Nice Show. Let's get to the polls.
- 13:25Speaker 1: You sound marvellous. Last show we talked about the palace's
- 13:29Speaker 1: secret weapon for really dealing with Harry and Meghan was
- 13:33Speaker 1: to ignore them. They're not going to respond. Well, that
- 13:36Speaker 1: was yesterday. I guess they're going to have to respond
- 13:37Speaker 1: today with this crazy breaking news. Will it work? That
- 13:40Speaker 1: was our question yesterday. Will it work? Let's have a look. 70%
- 13:44Speaker 1: said yes. It's amazing, isn't it? The power of just
- 13:48Speaker 1: walking past the problem. You don't always have to respond.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Every argument does not deserve your attention, does not deserve
- 13:55Speaker 1: your focus. Sometimes it's easier just to walk away. I
- 13:58Speaker 1: believed that yesterday. Today, I don't. There are a lot
- 14:02Speaker 1: of questions, a lot of questions that the royal family
- 14:05Speaker 1: now need to answer. What did they know? And when
- 14:08Speaker 1: did they know it? Hey, don't forget to vote. On
- 14:11Speaker 1: today's poll, go to our X page at Naughty Nice Rob.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. And be sure to
- 14:18Speaker 1: check back on Monday to hear your results. And now, oh,
- 14:22Speaker 1: it's time for our nicest of the day. Oh, our
- 14:26Speaker 1: nicest of the day is Paul Bird was spotted visiting
- 14:29Speaker 1: that store. Kelly Clarkson could not purchase her 15,000 bird.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I have to remember that store. So Paul was in Brooklyn.
- 14:36Speaker 1: He lives in Brooklyn. And he was stopped by the store.
- 14:39Speaker 1: He didn't go in. He peeked through the window. It's
- 14:41Speaker 1: called Art of Play. It was on Wednesday, nearly two
- 14:43Speaker 1: weeks after Kelly publicly blasted the store over their alleged
- 14:47Speaker 1: rude comments. He was there. He looked in. He looked
- 14:51Speaker 1: really curious. I want to see this store, too. I
- 14:55Speaker 1: really do. It appears like he was strolling past. And
- 14:57Speaker 1: then he looked up and was like, oh, my goodness,
- 14:59Speaker 1: is that the Kelly Clarkson store? That's what everybody's calling it.
- 15:02Speaker 1: They should put Kelly's picture in the window. When I'm
- 15:05Speaker 1: next in Brooklyn, I don't go to Brooklyn enough. I
- 15:07Speaker 1: love Brooklyn. When I'm next in Brooklyn, I'm going to
- 15:09Speaker 1: go and have a little look myself. Kelly, oh, it's
- 15:13Speaker 1: so tricky, this story. It does make me giggle. And
- 15:17Speaker 1: nicest of the day. And Paul, you look good. He
- 15:19Speaker 1: doesn't age. He doesn't age. And now I'm naughtiest of
- 15:22Speaker 1: the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty. Terry Hatcher, who I used
- 15:25Speaker 1: to represent, I worked for Terry, is now in the
- 15:27Speaker 1: Devil Wears Prada musical. It's a musical, Elton John. wrote
- 15:30Speaker 1: the music. It is in London. She took over from
- 15:34Speaker 1: Vanessa Williams. She's playing Miranda Priestly. However, at her debut
- 15:39Speaker 1: at least, I think it's the same tonight, she has
- 15:41Speaker 1: an awful wig on. So she doesn't look like Miranda
- 15:44Speaker 1: Priestly in this wig. Some people are saying she looks
- 15:47Speaker 1: like Nancy Pelosi. It is so funny. Check out Terry Hatcher,
- 15:53Speaker 1: The Devil Wears Prada. And look at this wig. It
- 15:56Speaker 1: is a cheap-looking wig, my friends. It's a multi-million dollar musical.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Come on, get Terry a good wig. Elton, if you're listening,
- 16:04Speaker 1: come on. You've got the money. Go and get her
- 16:07Speaker 1: a good wig. Maybe give her one of yours. Elton
- 16:09Speaker 1: has better wigs than Terry Hatcher in The Devil Wears Prada.
- 16:14Speaker 1: And notice the day. Hey, let's end with a moment
- 16:16Speaker 1: of rub. You get a rub. You get a rub.
- 16:18Speaker 1: You get a rub. So keep reaching for your goals.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Don't give up. It's going to take a minute. It's
- 16:24Speaker 1: not talent. It's patience. It's repetition. It's doing things over
- 16:28Speaker 1: and over and over again that is going to make
- 16:31Speaker 1: you successful. I get it. We all want instant gratification.
- 16:35Speaker 1: It's going to take a while. Don't rush yourself. Give
- 16:37Speaker 1: yourself a break. Give yourself a little bit of patience.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And I promise you, it will all work out. Hey,
- 16:44Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
- 16:47Speaker 1: listening to the Naughty But Nice with Rob and Naughty Show. Corey,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I know you're listening. I'm so sorry that you got
- 16:52Speaker 1: up so early and we couldn't pull it off. We're
- 16:55Speaker 1: a production of iHeartRadio and Elvis Duran. Don't forget to
- 16:58Speaker 1: check out my sub stack. Sign up, robshooter.substack.com and my

- 17:09Speaker 1: really helps me if you pre-order the book. If you
