- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. About a year ago, Congress set up a
- 0:07committee that was tasked with overseeing the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein,
- 0:13Glene Maxwell and their crimes. However, after a year, we
- 0:18still don't have much to go on. Nobody has been
- 0:22held accountable, nobody is under investigation that we know about,
- 0:27and shockingly, the only two people that we know have
- 0:30been referred are two people that were accused by Sarah
- 0:35Kellen Vickers. Do you mean to tell me that all
- 0:38the other accusations that have been made are not up
- 0:42to snuff, that they don't have enough behind them for
- 0:46them to be pursued, Because if you're trying to tell
- 0:49me that, I'm going to tell you it's a bunch
- 0:51of bs. Because there's plenty of information about plenty of
- 0:55people who should be referred for criminal indictment to the
- 0:59Justice depart But we haven't seen much of that, have we,
- 1:03And unfortunately I'm not confident that we will. And again
- 1:07it's all by design. In my opinion, I don't think
- 1:10this committee was ever enacted to get anything done, and
- 1:14if it wasn't for the discharge petition, forget it. So
- 1:19today we have an article from Politico and here's the headline.
- 1:23This is just the beginning when you're in there's no
- 1:26end in sight for Congress's Epstein probe. This article was
- 1:31authored by Haley Fuchs. The House Oversight Committee Jeffrey Epstein
- 1:36investigation will hit the one year mark later this month,
- 1:39and the saga isn't ending anytime soon. Well, it's certainly
- 1:43not ending around these parts anytime soon. Now, we're definitely
- 1:47going to be talking about other things. And over the
- 1:49past few weeks we've already started talking a little bit
- 1:52more about Alec Murda. Well, we're gonna start talking about
- 1:57the Tyler Robinson trial as well, because there there's been
- 2:00a lot of bs talked about Charlie Kirk's murder. And
- 2:04now that we're getting to a point where we're getting
- 2:07some actual evidence, I think it's time to have the
- 2:10conversation right follow along with the trial, look at the evidence,
- 2:14see what's what. And I'm coming into that with a
- 2:18very sober eye. I have no preconceived notions about anything,
- 2:24and we're just gonna follow the evidence wherever it takes us.
- 2:28But one thing I was always skeptical of was Candace
- 2:31Owens and her bullshit. She tried the same thing with
- 2:36Brian Cooleberger. She tried to insert herself into that case
- 2:40and tried to turn it into this gigantic conspiracy and
- 2:44thankfully her bullshit didn't take But here in the Charlie
- 2:48Kirk case, when you have something that explosive, something that
- 2:51politically sensitive, you're gonna find an audience for you're crazy,
- 2:56and Candace Owens has certainly capitalized on that. And when
- 2:59she tried it with Brian Kolberger, I knew she was
- 3:03talking out of the side of her neck. And my
- 3:05guess has always been that's the same story when it
- 3:07comes to Charlie Kirk. So we're diving into that for ourselves.
- 3:12And now that the preliminary hearing started this week, I've
- 3:15been able to get more of a handle on what
- 3:18the prosecution actually has because remember, that's what matters, what's
- 3:23the evidence, Because for me, that's all that really matters,
- 3:26not my opinion, not what I think, not what my
- 3:30bias tells me, but where does the evidence take us.
- 3:33So that's what we're going to be doing when we're
- 3:36covering the Tyler Robinson trial and the first series that
- 3:41I have planned is just diving into the official narrative
- 3:44and what the official story is and what evidence the
- 3:49government says it has. And look, as you all know,
- 3:53I'm not exactly somebody who trusts the government. But that
- 3:56doesn't mean that every case is a gigantic conspiracy. So
- 4:00we're going to get to that in a little bit,
- 4:01but first let's finish this article. No matter which party
- 4:05ends up in control in the next Congress, the Oversight
- 4:08Panel will remain under pressure to continue to investigate the
- 4:12late convicted sex offender and the web of power players
- 4:15who may have been complicit in his crimes. May have
- 4:18been complicit, may have been complicit. All these fools were
- 4:23complicit one way or the other. Doesn't mean everybody was diddling,
- 4:27but everybody was around, everybody knew, and anybody who says
- 4:32any different, they're bullshitting you. Democrats are making clear that
- 4:36they view the committee's work under Republican leadership as incomplete
- 4:40and that the Epstein case will be central to their
- 4:42oversight of President Donald Trump's administration if they win the
- 4:46majority in the midterms, and I think that's a likely possibility, right,
- 4:52I mean, the midterms historically fade to the side that's
- 4:57not in power. So I would think that the Democrats,
- 5:01with everything that's going on, are going to make some
- 5:04inroads and at least take the House. Is that going
- 5:07to be enough? I don't know. And to tell you
- 5:10the truth, I'm not exactly confident in the Democrats' leadership either.
- 5:15Just take a look at how they dealt with Graham Platner.
- 5:21This is just the beginning. Representative Melanie Stansbury of New
- 5:24Mexico and Oversight Democrats said in an interview, I believe
- 5:28this is the administration's watergate. I think that it's clear
- 5:32that they're complicit in covering crimes and shielding the president
- 5:36from accountability and evating the law. And so I'd like
- 5:39to see all of them in front of the committee
- 5:41under oath. Well, I'd like to see that too. And
- 5:45they're certainly a cover up, and I think it would
- 5:47be good if we focused more on that cover up.
- 5:53But people like Melanie Stansbury, they're only interested in salacious nonsense.
- 5:59She hasn't had down on the real facts of the case.
- 6:02Every single one of these Congress people that get up there,
- 6:05the first question is Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump
- 6:09and that's not how we're going to get to the
- 6:10victory line. I keep telling you guys that, and if
- 6:14that makes people mad, I don't care. I don't know
- 6:17how many times I have to say it. I'm not
- 6:19in this for the clicks. I don't even do any
- 6:21marketing for my podcast. If you found my podcast, either
- 6:25somebody told you about it or you stumbled upon it.
- 6:29So if you think I care about winning any popularity
- 6:32contests or doing what the masses want me to do,
- 6:36you've come to the wrong place. I really just don't care.
- 6:39I don't have any kind of social media profile to
- 6:42worry about. I don't have sponsors, I don't have crowdfunding,
- 6:46none of it. So I'm able to say whatever I
- 6:49want whenever I want to say it, and at times
- 6:52it costs me listeners, and hey, that's cool, I get it.
- 6:56But I'm not going to change who I am, and
- 6:58I'm certainly not going to plan any games to try
- 7:01and you know, get people to listen to my podcast.
- 7:05What I'm saying to you is the same shit I'd
- 7:08be saying in the backyard to the homies. And if
- 7:12you don't believe me, you can ask them. Do you
- 7:16know how many times these people, my friends, have told
- 7:19me to shut my aap. They didn't care. They don't
- 7:21want to hear it for five more seconds. Yeah, just
- 7:24about every barbecue. Finally, one of them said to me, Hey, Bobby,
- 7:29why don't you just start a podcast and then you
- 7:31could run your app all day and you can say
- 7:33what you want to say and we won't have to
- 7:36listen to your nonsense anymore. It works out great for everybody.
- 7:39So my point is, even if nobody was listening, I'd
- 7:42still be saying the same stuff. And you know why,
- 7:45because this is what I believe. This isn't some larp,
- 7:49this isn't some gag, This isn't me just make and
- 7:53pretend the shit I tell you on this podcast, That's
- 7:57what I believe. Republicans meanwhile, say the public's appetite for
- 8:03answers in the Epstein case won't be satiated no matter
- 8:06what new details the panel on Earth. Oh give me
- 8:09a break. Before it was the Republicans crying and crying
- 8:12and crying NonStop about the Epstein issue. But now all
- 8:16of a sudden, Oh, there's never going to be enough. Well,
- 8:19how about you give us something worthwhile? How about we
- 8:22start there people are never going to be satisfied with
- 8:28the Congressional Investigation throughout history. Set Oversight Chair James Comer
- 8:32of Kentucky, who, due to GOP term limits, will no
- 8:35longer be the panel's top Republican in the next Congress. Well,
- 8:39thank god, because James Comer is an absolute tool, an
- 8:44absolute buffoon. Him and his robber barons have caused a
- 8:49lot of damage here and they've destroyed a lot of credibility. Well,
- 8:54he had hoped to wrap up the interviews by the
- 8:56August recess. Comer added, it's probably going to be hard
- 8:59because it seems like after every deposition we get another
- 9:03name or two that we need to talk to. Imagine
- 9:05if they would have just done their jobs from the
- 9:07very beginning. I know novel idea that means the Congressional
- 9:13Epstein Probe could continue for the foreseeable future, not only
- 9:17out of hope of finding a smoking gun, but also
- 9:20because of the political incentives to keep investigating. For Democrats
- 9:25as well as Republicans are impossible to resist. And I
- 9:29have to tell you the way that this topic has
- 9:30been politicized recently is a big time turnoff. That's never
- 9:35what this was supposed to be. I can't tell you
- 9:38how many people back in twenty nineteen I worked with
- 9:42to try and get justice here that I didn't agree
- 9:45with politically, but I was able to shelve my personal
- 9:48bias for the greater good, and the greater good was
- 9:52getting rid of these scumbags. But unfortunately that didn't work,
- 9:57and it becoming more and more are clear to me
- 10:00that there's never going to be unity on any topic.
- 10:04If we can't come to the center here and come
- 10:08to some kind of truce while we get rid of
- 10:11these people, forget it. It's over. America is effectively broken
- 10:16into different groups. Now there's no single America. There's no
- 10:20heartbeat of America. There's only what's good politically, and I
- 10:25find it disgusting. These are real people, people whose lives
- 10:30were fucking ruined, and the same people that ignored them
- 10:34the first time around. Well now they're just politicizing everything
- 10:38and not making any ground and not bringing anyone to justice.
- 10:42I mean, they won't even go after the banking records.
- 10:45What does that tell you? You don't want to follow the
- 10:48money of one of the biggest launderers in the history
- 10:51of America. Okay, cool, So you're just not serious about
- 10:55what's going on. The panel interviewed more than a dozen people,
- 11:02and none so far have shared any new information culminating
- 11:05in criminal charges. But the panel has made history by
- 11:09making a host of powerful people answer for their willful
- 11:13association with a convicted sex offender, Among them commerce secretary
- 11:18Howard Lutnick, the billionaire investor Leon Black, and tech mogul
- 11:22and philanthropist Bill Gates. Blacking Gates both admitted to knowing
- 11:26about Epstein's criminal history, at least in part, while continuing
- 11:30to associate with them. Oh, they knew. They didn't care,
- 11:34Like I told you, Unlike the rest of these people,
- 11:38I don't hide from what I've said in the past.
- 11:41All those reposted episodes, they're from twenty twenty one, twenty nineteen,
- 11:47all the way back, and as you can see, the
- 11:51record has been consistent, at least around these parts. There
- 11:54have been some other revelations too. Sarah Kellen, a former assistant,
- 11:58gave lawmakers the names of two men potentially implicated in
- 12:02Epstein's misdeeds, hair stylists Frederick Foquai and former Miami Beach
- 12:07mayor Philip Levine, who both have denied wrongdoing well. Frederick
- 12:12Forrakai is not a new name to us. We've been
- 12:14talking about him for a while. But I will say
- 12:17I never heard anything about mister Levine, mister Levine, whatever
- 12:21you want to call him, up until Sarah Kellen told
- 12:24us what she told us. So that is the new name.
- 12:27One thing I'll give the committee is that is the
- 12:29new name Black in the middle of his transcribed interview
- 12:34with slab with subpoenas that'll force him to reappear and
- 12:37hand over non disclosure agreements that could be tied to
- 12:40Epstein and ousted. Former Attorney General Pam Bondi underscored the
- 12:45extent to which her then deputy Todd Blanche led the
- 12:49Justice Department's haphazard release of the Epstein files after Congress
- 12:53forced the department's hand last fall. Blanche, now the acting
- 12:58Attorney General vying to lead the DOJ permanently, is expected
- 13:02to be heavily questioned about the matter at his Senate
- 13:05confirmation hearing next week, and House Oversight could separately call
- 13:09him to speak with the panel in the coming weeks. Look,
- 13:14if Todd Blanche actually gets confirmed, that's gonna tell us
- 13:18everything we need to know, because if they confirm him,
- 13:23that means they're all in on it. A yes vote
- 13:27is a vote for Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit, and that's just
- 13:31the way it is. Representative Robert Garcia California, who is
- 13:37poised to become Oversight chair next year if Democrats sweep
- 13:40the fall elections, noted that the ongoing investigation has also
- 13:44set a new precedent. The panel's decision earlier this year
- 13:48to compel the sweign testimony of former President Bill Clinton,
- 13:51he said, could pave the way for other former presidents
- 13:56to be hit with subpoenas, and that includes Trump, who
- 13:59is on scrutiny from his own relationship with Epstein. And
- 14:03it was very transparent at the time. What the Democrats
- 14:05were trying to do. The whole entire goal with getting
- 14:09Bill Clinton up there and the Democrats going along with it,
- 14:13was to eventually get Trump in the crosshairs. That's what
- 14:15they were trying to do. They want Trump up there
- 14:18to give a deposition. And now that Bill Clinton did it, well,
- 14:22how can Trump deny them. He'll try, but it gives
- 14:26them political ammunition and at the end of the day,
- 14:29that's what Robert Garcia is looking for. I have a
- 14:32lot of doubts about Robert Garcia and his real motivations. Sorry,
- 14:37but I do. That includes Trump, who has drawn scrutiny
- 14:41for his own relationship with Epstein. Democrats have argued the
- 14:44administration has concealed the extent of that relationship, but Trump
- 14:49has maintained that he and Epstein had a falling out
- 14:52long before Epstein's death by suicide allegedly behind bars in
- 14:56twenty nineteen. The President has not been charged with wrongdoing.
- 15:01There are, however, limits to what Congress can do to
- 15:04bring people to account. Already, Committee Republicans have recommended that
- 15:08the Justice Department investigate allegations against Frederick Vicai and Levigne.
- 15:14In a statement, a DOJ official confirmed the Department had
- 15:17to receive the recommendation from the Committee and the FBI
- 15:21was looking into it. Oh, I'm sure they are. The
- 15:27allegations Kellen made in her interview to Oversight included names
- 15:30of reported perpetrators that she apparently did not raise in
- 15:34her FBI interviews during the course of the investigation into
- 15:37Epstein and Maxwell. The official said, the FBI is in
- 15:41the process of confirming that if during the course of
- 15:44their review, FBI encounters of evidence of a federal crime,
- 15:48they will investigate the matter. Wow, well we can all
- 15:51rest easy. The FBI is on the job, folks. Comer
- 15:56hinted that the House Oversight Committee would pursue criminal referrals
- 15:59to the deal. We believe there are people that deserve
- 16:03to be prosecuted, and we're going to do everything in
- 16:05our ability to see that happen. I promise the survivors that. Yeah, well,
- 16:11pretty words, let's see some action. Garcia said some witnesses
- 16:16who came to testify voluntarily and were not toworn in
- 16:19under oath would in a Democratic majority be called back
- 16:22again to give formal depositions, such as BONDI well, that's good.
- 16:27They should all be formal voluntarily. Committee Democrats have also
- 16:32expressed an interest in getting testimony via subpoena from FBI
- 16:37Director Cash Betel as a explorer not just Epstein's network
- 16:41of associates, but the federal governments on even handling of
- 16:45the matter. That's what we have to focus on. I
- 16:48know people don't want to hear it. Everybody wants the salacious,
- 16:52big time caller, and I'm here to tell you that's
- 16:55not going to happen. That ship is heeld. If you
- 16:58want justice here, focus on the cover up. If you
- 17:01want to fuck around and cause distractions and whatever, cool
- 17:05talk about the other shit. But if you're looking for justice,
- 17:09and you're looking the whole people accountable, one way to
- 17:12do with folks. The Epstein probe will not be over
- 17:17GARCIA pledged until they release all the files and until
- 17:21ideally criminal convictions out of the DOJ. But any referral
- 17:25would be merely advisory. Only the Trump administration can decide
- 17:29who to target with federal charges. It's also highly unlikely
- 17:33that a sitting president could be compelled to participate in
- 17:36the committee's Epstein probe through a subpoena. That wasn't the point.
- 17:41It's for when he's out of office. They're going to
- 17:43try and hit him with that subpoena when he's out
- 17:45of office, to get them to testify. That was the goal.
- 17:50Representative Thomas Massey suggested that the House effort was only
- 17:53serving to provide cover for the Justice Department to avoid accountability. Frankly,
- 17:58bringing all these people in is still part of the
- 18:01charade and the diversion from what should happen, which is
- 18:05that the DOJ should bring charges against people for whom
- 18:09there's credible evidence. Massey, who lost his re election primary
- 18:13to a Trump backed challenger, said in an interview everything
- 18:16that happens in oversight is just part of trying to
- 18:19slack over the whole thing. Bingo. That's all it is.
- 18:23That's all it ever will be. Massy teamed up last
- 18:29year with Representative Rocana to force a vote on legislation
- 18:33requiring the Justice Department to make public all the Epstein
- 18:36material in its possession. The Trump White House ought to
- 18:39block the measure, and with Republicans not wanting to disobey
- 18:43their president or alienate their base clamoring for transparency, Speaker
- 18:48Mike Johnson sent the House home rather than keep the
- 18:51members in town to rive amid the uproar. But before
- 18:55lawmakers departed, Democrats forced a surprise bipartisan vote vote during
- 19:00an oversight subcommittee hearing, compelling the Justice Department to turn
- 19:04over the Epstein files to Congress. That vote launched the
- 19:07Epstein probe at a time when the DOJ was still
- 19:10refusing to cooperate fully on its own, a shift that
- 19:14took place in November when Trump finally relented and allowed
- 19:18Congress to pass Massey and Conna's Epstein File Transparency Act
- 19:22with near unanimous support. And remember he couldn't veto it,
- 19:27so that's the only reason he got behind it. Since
- 19:31that time, the rollout of the files has been full
- 19:34of mistakes, including botch disclosures of victim information and excessive redactions.
- 19:39Lawmakers of both parties argue the DOJ has not fully
- 19:43complied with the law. Well, that's because they haven't. Is
- 19:47there any real argument against that statement. Representative Tim Burchett,
- 19:53another Oversight Committee member, said he didn't know how the
- 19:56Epstein investigation would end, but was an optimist that there
- 20:00would be a satisfying conclusion. This town moves, I mean,
- 20:04glaciers run past us, Burchett said, We've been studying the
- 20:09Kennedy assassination and we're still getting information on it. I
- 20:12don't have a lot of faith in the system. I
- 20:14don't care who's in charge. I think that the sewer
- 20:17is too deep. What are you doing about it? Congressman?
- 20:22Riding your skateboard, posting on Twitter, being a social media influencer,
- 20:27you ain't done shit. Oh you say some cool stuff
- 20:30and people like it, and they think you're some kind
- 20:33of rebel but when it comes down to it, you're
- 20:36just another yes man. All of you highly disappointing. And
- 20:41you know what else has been disappointing. The whole entire committee,
- 20:45This whole entire process has been disappointing. And I don't
- 20:48think that's going to change, because I think this committee
- 20:51had one goal and one purpose, and that purpose was
- 20:55to control of the blast radius. And if it wasn't
- 20:58for that discharge petition, that's exactly what they would have done.
- 21:03All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this one.
