- 0:49I just don't know why I didn't think of sharing them with you.
- 0:53So I don't get a ton, but and they're mostly friendly.
- 0:58I just want to share some of the emails we've been getting is just one.
- 1:01This is from Melody.
- 1:02She says, Hello, been watching for a while and joy your various guests and topics.
- 1:07Would you consider doing a program or two on the various Bible versions and their differences?
- 1:13Great idea for a topic.
- 1:15I would do that with one of my pastor friends.
- 1:17Thank you, Melody.
- 1:19I would go with new American standard new King James version and ESV.
- 1:24The Geneva Bible is also awesome.
- 1:26That was the first one.
- 1:28One of the first or I think it may have been the first one brought to America, Geneva Bible,
- 1:32but I'll go with new American standard is the one that I first purchased.
- 1:35I still love that version.
- 1:37So friends, we are now in our third year of producing world view matters.
- 1:41We're amazed how it's gone.
- 1:42Praise God.
- 1:43New studio.
- 1:44Thank you, Jesus.
- 1:45But to continue speaking the truth and exposing evil, we depend on first of all your prayers.
- 1:50And then those who are able to give financial, your generous support.
- 1:54So right now we're running a campaign for supporters to consider a tax deductible gift
- 1:58for a 501 C3, of course, $200, for example, would be great or monthly partner 25 a month.
- 2:04A lot of people do that.
- 2:06That's really a blessing.
- 2:07And as just a really small token of our gratitude, we'd love to send you our new stainless
- 2:12steel tumbler etched with keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
- 2:17That's my tagline.
- 2:19And on the other side, world view matters, I've got mine right here.
- 2:22In fact, I think this was the first one out of the box a week or two ago, I think, yep.
- 2:28So go to worldviewmatters.tv, worldviewmatters.tv if you were able to give, but either way, thank
- 2:36you for your prayers and support and encouragement and emails, a guest suggestions, topic suggestions.
- 2:43You know, I'm open.
- 2:44So praise God.
- 2:45So I want to bring in today's guest.
- 2:47Now, Michelle laser, I love, I love the last name.
- 2:51She's with mud hen mama dot com.
- 2:54She got an amazing story and just a phenomenal ministry and what she does there, getting great
- 3:00books into the hands of Christians, conservatives, those who want the truth, those who want to
- 3:05actually still read, which is just a lost art.
- 3:09You know, not that reading is an art, but Michelle, thanks for your time today.
- 3:12Good to see you.
- 3:13Thank you so much for having me, David.
- 3:15I'm excited.
- 3:16So am I just found out you're in New Jersey.
- 3:18Our friend Matthew mayor is from there.
- 3:21We regular guests here on the program, but you grew up in the Midwest.
- 3:25So I want to start with you've been married for almost about 25 years.
- 3:29You have 10 children.
- 3:32So we have to start there.
- 3:33You and your husband met in college and then you both came to Christ.
- 3:38Let's go back before we get into what you're doing at mud hen mama and we're going to
- 3:41talk about the name too.
- 3:43Have you explained all that?
- 3:44Tell us about your family, beautiful family.
- 3:47Thank you.
- 3:48Well, yeah, so that was definitely us having 10 kids with not in our plan initially at
- 3:55all.
- 3:56We were not believers when we first met and it was just the Lord.
- 4:00I mean, that's really what it comes down to, obviously, is the Lord, but it's actually
- 4:05an amazing story just because God is, He was just so faithful.
- 4:10We actually thought we were done after number four, who is actually a junior right now.
- 4:13I think I look at her and I'm like, oh, my goodness, I can't believe that she was almost
- 4:17going to be the last one.
- 4:18And we had six more after her.
- 4:20So we actually were in Korea when we had we were in a Bible study and we were having it.
- 4:29It was a Bible study with two other families and it was sort of funny is that the one family
- 4:34had five kids.
- 4:35I think she was pregnant with number five and I was pregnant with number four, but our
- 4:38kids lined up perfectly because they were all the same ages, but she had a set of
- 4:43twins.
- 4:44And so that was how, you know, the kids lined up anyway.
- 4:48So I remember asking her, you're done, right, because, you know, you'd have to be crazy
- 4:53to have more than five kids.
- 4:54It's nuts.
- 4:55And she was like, I don't know.
- 4:57And I thought that that's so strange.
- 4:59Why would she say that, you know?
- 5:01And so we were, like I said, we were doing a Bible study and it was shepherding a child's
- 5:06heart, which is I think I always recommend that book.
- 5:09I think it's an amazing book that really helps me.
- 5:13It really helps to not only strengthen me as a parent, but also just it's like, help
- 5:19me to see, you know, how, how best to shepherd our children.
- 5:22I just think it's, it's such an important book anyway.
- 5:25So when we were all discussing things, I realized that I didn't want to cut the Lord
- 5:32off.
- 5:33My husband and I talked a lot about it.
- 5:35We prayed, we, you know, kept going to scripture and, you know, I think the most important
- 5:40thing I always tell people, I don't think everyone needs to have 10 kids.
- 5:44I don't think that's the point, but I think the point is to be open handed and to go
- 5:48to the Lord and prayer and say, Lord, what would you have me do?
- 5:51Because I think we trust God in all areas of our life except for our children and how
- 5:56many children we're going to have.
- 5:58And so we felt that, you know, we wanted to just trust the Lord on it.
- 6:02And so we did.
- 6:04And so we were in Korea.
- 6:06When we went to Korea, we had two and our children were three and one.
- 6:11And then we were there for nine years.
- 6:13It was such a blessing, even getting to Korea was such a just creepy story that, you know,
- 6:18I was working.
- 6:19I really wanted to come home and be with my kids.
- 6:22And my husband was a teacher at the time and there was no way we could swing it.
- 6:25We were living out in Alexandria, Virginia.
- 6:27It's very expensive for those of you who are familiar with the area.
- 6:30And so, but God put it on my husband's heart to go to look overseas.
- 6:36He had an experience in Hungary and he loved it.
- 6:40And he was like, I think we need to go overseas.
- 6:43My background is actually, I was born in Puerto Rico.
- 6:46So I thought, hey, let's go to a Hispanic country.
- 6:50Be great.
- 6:51I can, you know, help my Spanish because my Spanish isn't so hot.
- 6:54And, you know, that would be awesome.
- 6:57But as God would have it, and we ended up, the doors were all shut except for Korea.
- 7:03And it was the last place that I think either one of us would have expected to go to because
- 7:08it was just, you know, we didn't have anything against it, but we certainly didn't have an
- 7:12affinity for it.
- 7:13There was nothing that was drawing us there.
- 7:15But the Lord did.
- 7:16And so, we loved it, you know, it's funny because our kids, I'm like, I think my kids
- 7:20think they're more Korean than Puerto Rican.
- 7:22But because they love all things Korean and it's just, yeah, we had a really wonderful
- 7:29time in Korea.
- 7:30It was a huge time of growth for us.
- 7:33And so we ended up having four more children out in Korea, so you can imagine we were definitely
- 7:38the anomaly there.
- 7:39We had, at the time, we had six children when we finally ended up leaving.
- 7:45And then we came back to the United States.
- 7:49We ended up having number seven, so shortly after we arrived.
- 7:54And then we had twins a little while after that.
- 7:57So that was a humongous challenge.
- 7:59That was hard, hard, hard.
- 8:00It was a very humbling experience.
- 8:02I thought I had all my ducks in a row and certainly nothing can challenge me because I
- 8:06already had, you know, so many children.
- 8:08I had seven children.
- 8:10But it was, it was hard.
- 8:12So I'm so blessed that they're now seven years old.
- 8:15So I can say, I can look back and say, you know, praise God.
- 8:18It was, I don't remember a whole lot from the experience, but God was so faithful and
- 8:22he was so good.
- 8:23He just, you know, every day we got through it and, and yes, so now there's seven and
- 8:27our youngest is two.
- 8:28And I actually forgot to mention to you that our oldest daughter, she's married and she
- 8:33has a baby.
- 8:35So, so I'm a grandma, technically.
- 8:38So yeah, so the baby is three months, melodies, three months.
- 8:42And so that's amazing.
- 8:44It's sort of funny.
- 8:45So the youngest is actually closer and aged to her than to her oldest, to her next oldest
- 8:49daughter.
- 8:50Wow.
- 8:51It's amazing.
- 8:52So you studied chemical engineering and you ended up going to Korea while you were there.
- 8:59I was reading your bio while you were there.
- 9:01You started to homeschool and I want you to explain something.
- 9:05You said, um, you decided to homeschool and that's when you discovered such a plethora
- 9:12of books that I would have never known about.
- 9:16And I think this is what brings us to mud hen momma.
- 9:19Is it not?
- 9:20Yes.
- 9:21Yes.
- 9:22So, so yeah.
- 9:23So our last year in Korea, we weren't sure what we were going to do.
- 9:27We thought, you know, maybe we, we actually thought we were going to stay international
- 9:32and ended up not working out.
- 9:34But because we weren't sure, we just wanted to, you know, well, if we were going to
- 9:38a difficult place and, you know, we wanted to be able to have that available, just
- 9:41that, you know, we could still teach our kids and I would have some experience beforehand.
- 9:47So that was the plan.
- 9:49It ended up that I, that I homeschooled for a year and a half.
- 9:52It was wonderful.
- 9:53I really wanted to continue to homeschool.
- 9:54But anyway, when, when we were homeschooling, you know, I, it was like I discovered all of
- 9:59these wonderful books like, oh my goodness, these, I had no idea that they were all these
- 10:02great Christian books that, you know, and, and historical fiction and all these books
- 10:08that, you know, when you get this galactic book fair, you know, flyers, those kinds of
- 10:13books aren't on there.
- 10:14And so I thought this is something that I think would be really valuable for other Christian
- 10:18families to know about.
- 10:21And it was just sort of put in the back of my head, like I, you know, this is something
- 10:24that maybe in the future, you know, I could perhaps like share, but we'll see.
- 10:30So fast forward a few years.
- 10:33So, you know, that was like maybe 2016, 2017.
- 10:36The 2020 happened.
- 10:38And that was a really difficult year for, obviously, for everyone.
- 10:42But it was, it was just very, very eye-opening and I thought to myself, you know, this is,
- 10:47there was just a lot of stuff that came out that I, that really concerned me.
- 10:51And, and you know, the little things like that, like I had mentioned before, the scholastic
- 10:56book fair, the, the flyers, you know, I had noticed that, I mean, besides the fact that
- 11:02they didn't have the really meaty good literature, I also noticed that it was just sort of,
- 11:08I mean, at least initially it was more like just sort of junky.
- 11:11Like it wasn't that, it wasn't really going to be helping our children to learn anything
- 11:17good or beautiful or anything like that.
- 11:20So I thought, I, you know, I'm not going to order for, I want there to be a better resource
- 11:24than that.
- 11:25And so, but then when 2020 hit, it was more of like, wow, it's, it's not just that it's,
- 11:30you know, bad for you.
- 11:31It's actually like poison for you.
- 11:32I mean, I always compare it to, you know, it's, it's not just cheetos for the brain.
- 11:36It's, it's like poison for the brain.
- 11:38It's, it's, it's getting, it had gotten to a point where just the indoctrination was,
- 11:44was becoming much more apparent.
- 11:46And so I thought, you know, maybe this is the time to start offering something, just some
- 11:50sort of an alternative.
- 11:51So we only started with maybe, I don't even remember, I think it was between 1575 titles
- 11:57and just put them out there and tried to reach out to different schools to see if, hey,
- 12:00you know, would, would your school be interested in having a small book fair and offering your
- 12:05families these books?
- 12:07And so as time went on, you know, we, we, we obviously we expanded, we started off with,
- 12:12like I said, 50, 75 books, something like that.
- 12:14And we, we were focusing more on children's books.
- 12:17But then we expanded it because, you know, we really thought it was so important to
- 12:23not only, I mean, obviously we need our kids to have really good books to, available
- 12:27for them to read, but we also wanted those books to be available for, like good books
- 12:32for parents, because parents are the ones that are going to be feeding into their kids.
- 12:38And they need to understand what's happening.
- 12:39So that was something else that I had noticed in 2020 is that, you know, all this stuff
- 12:43was happening in the culture and no one was talking about it.
- 12:47And I thought, why, you know, why aren't we talking about this?
- 12:51And it's so important.
- 12:52You know, a lot of things had been, you know, on my radar, I had, I, you know, had read
- 12:57a lot about, Vody Bachum is amazing.
- 13:00And I've known about him for years.
- 13:02And he was one that had, he, you know, so the ethnic narcissism, like all that stuff,
- 13:07like that was, I understood all of that, but I didn't realize how it had infested into
- 13:13the culture as much as it did.
- 13:16And so I thought, you know, we need to be able to, to help the parents not only understand
- 13:21what's happening, to know what's happening, but to understand what to do about it from
- 13:24a biblical worldview because the churches weren't doing it.
- 13:27And so I figured, you know, this would be a great way, you know, you're giving your kids
- 13:31great books.
- 13:32So why don't you give yourself some and just learn about what's happening and learn what
- 13:35to do about it from, from a biblical worldview, from a biblical perspective that, you know,
- 13:41ways in order to know how to approach a lot of these issues.
- 13:46So yeah, so that was, that was essentially what, you know, what we wanted to do with
- 13:50Mudhin Mama.
- 13:51We obviously, we also wanted to offer families, you know, the, the, uh, standard was essentially
- 13:57we want books that are good, beautiful and true.
- 14:00And so, um, that was, that's what we try to do.
- 14:03We try to have, have, um, you know, books that obviously, if there's a lot of books that
- 14:08share the gospel, but not all of them do.
- 14:11All of them are though sharing something that's good, beautiful and true.
- 14:15And I think we know that the, that the truth, all truth is God's truth.
- 14:19And so that's why, um, you know, we wanted to expand it to not just be, you know, quote
- 14:25unquote Christian books, but they're, you know, going to be a lot of different books,
- 14:27like a lot of classic books don't necessarily speak the name of Christ, but they're really
- 14:32good books that teach us something about Christ in one way, shape or form.
- 14:36So.
- 14:37Okay.
- 14:38When we come back with Michelle, we're going to find out what a Mudhin actually is.
- 14:43And then we'll also talk about a little bit more about that transition you made in 2020,
- 14:47because you had this idea to do online Christian book fairs.
- 14:52And because a lot of people are doing COVID, I mean, online learning during COVID and unfortunately
- 14:57a lot of kids were, you know, still tapping in the public school system, getting their education.
- 15:03That way you're not going to get the right information.
- 15:05Um, so to do these Christian book fairs, to get the great books out there, I think most
- 15:10of our audience is all for that, but we'll be right back on World View Matters.
- 15:14Introducing the World View Matters Conference coming to Green Bay, Wisconsin May 1st and
- 15:192nd, 2026.
- 15:20Here's some of the featured speakers, Ken Michael, Olivier Melnick, Tim Chafee, Mark
- 15:28and Amber Archer, Laura Perry Smalls, Dr. Jake Jacobs, Jay Seigert, Gary Caw, Scott
- 15:36Sharer, and Elijah Abraham.
- 15:39That's the World View Matters Conference May 1st and 2nd, 2026, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
- 15:45Yes.
- 15:46And we're still waiting to hear from one prominent speaker that I'm hoping it will work
- 15:52out that he can make that.
- 15:54But anyway, it's going to be at the Delta Hotel by Ramada and Green Bay May 1st and 2nd
- 15:59next year.
- 16:00We're looking forward to that.
- 16:01I will tell you a lot more about it.
- 16:03And these guests will be on the podcast again as the months progress here.
- 16:07We get into a new year coming up.
- 16:08So Michelle, Mud Hen, I mean, that's not something a lot of people understand.
- 16:14Mud Hen, what's a Mud Hen mama?
- 16:16So just briefly, I know time's going by fast with you.
- 16:20How did you come up with the name?
- 16:22So when I was homeschooling, I had a couple of books that were sort of like reference
- 16:27books.
- 16:28They've been sitting there for a long time.
- 16:30But I was trying to wrap my brain like, OK, what am I going to name this?
- 16:35I knew I had some ideas, but a lot of the names had been taken or it just didn't sound
- 16:41right.
- 16:42So I was praying and praying about it.
- 16:43And the Lord sort of directed me to go look at those books and just see if there was
- 16:48something in there.
- 16:49So I was flipping through and I came across the American Coot.
- 16:52And the nickname for an American Coot is called a Mud Hen.
- 16:56What the Mud Hen's do is when they perceive that they're getting attacked or they see
- 17:01an enemy, they come together and they squawk at the enemy.
- 17:04And I was like, that's exactly what I'm trying to do with Mud Hen mama or with my business
- 17:08is to get parents together, get families together, to be able to just let people know.
- 17:15This is going on and we need to protect our kids and we need to come together and help
- 17:20each other, help one another, protect us from what's happening.
- 17:24And so yeah, so that's where Mud Hen mama comes from.
- 17:27And from the information you sent me, each of the over 1300 books have been vetted to
- 17:35be sure that anyone who comes to purchase books from you guys will know that they're from
- 17:39a biblical worldview.
- 17:41But explain to me, elaborate on this a little bit.
- 17:44You said, I realized how important it was to empower families to understand not only
- 17:51what we're facing as a society, but also how to face it from a biblical worldview.
- 17:56Explain that a little bit, Michelle, and how reading books like this help.
- 18:01Well, maybe it's just because it was more personal to me, but I know that, you know, I don't,
- 18:07it's just hard to keep up with all everything that's happening.
- 18:09And, you know, we, and that's me who I feel like I'm always listening to podcasts and
- 18:16trying to find out what's happening, but not everyone has that time.
- 18:19And so I think, you know, like I had mentioned before, it's important to understand what,
- 18:25what is happening and a lot of parents, a lot of families, I think are just, they're
- 18:31either oblivious or, you know, like they just don't want to know and they think everything's
- 18:36going to blow over.
- 18:37I remember having those conversations with people and, and just thinking to myself, like,
- 18:43we need to know really this is, I don't think this is going to blow over.
- 18:47And I think that we need to discuss this.
- 18:49So it's not just being aware.
- 18:51I mean, like I said, there are some parents that are oblivious.
- 18:54There's some parents or some families that think, well, yeah, I know this is happening,
- 18:59but it's no big deal.
- 19:00And, you know, my kids will find out eventually, you know, how to, how to navigate this.
- 19:07But so I think we need to, we need to just be clear to all, to Christian families in
- 19:14particular that, hey, this is not just, it's not just happening, but like, I, and, well,
- 19:21I'm sorry, the other thing that I was going to say is that I think that sometimes parents
- 19:26also, like they may know what's, what's happening, but then they get frozen.
- 19:29They don't know exactly what to do.
- 19:30And maybe that's why they don't want to discuss it with their families or with their children
- 19:34or with each other, whatever, with other families.
- 19:37And I've definitely come across that as well.
- 19:39And so I think this is just a really good way in order to, like, help them power them,
- 19:43like, say, hey, this is how you can navigate this.
- 19:46This is, other people have talked about this already.
- 19:49And, you know, you don't have to feel bad about certain things.
- 19:51You don't have to feel bad about, you know, your skin color.
- 19:54You don't have to feel bad about how God made us or, I mean, there's like a gazillion
- 20:00different topics that, you know, we do try to cover it.
- 20:02Anyway, just, you know, but to do it from a biblical world view, because we don't need
- 20:06to have, you know, there are a lot of people that will, you know, we look at the same issues
- 20:10and a lot of people will say one thing and a lot of other people will say another thing,
- 20:15but we need to have an understanding from a biblical world view.
- 20:18And so we try to gather up books that were, you know, doing that, that will help help
- 20:23the families to be able to not only know what's happening and to see what's happening
- 20:29and to be aware of it, but then also, okay, well, what do I do about it?
- 20:32How do I, how do I go about, you know, figuring out tech and, and, you know, how, how social media
- 20:38and, and, you know, how do we combat this and, you know, what should we do, what should
- 20:43we not do, just all those questions that I know personally I have.
- 20:47I mean, we have kids literally in, in like every age group.
- 20:50And so I understand all of the different issues, you know, that, that kids are having.
- 20:55So, you know, we've tried to include all those kinds of books.
- 20:59So that, that, you know, like I said, not just for children, but also for, for parents
- 21:04as well, because it's so important.
- 21:06I think parents, they just need to know and, and it's just, I think it's getting a little
- 21:12bit better that, you know, there are churches that are talking a lot about these issues,
- 21:16but I think still it's, it's very sparse and it's, I don't think it's enough.
- 21:20And so, yeah, so we just have to encourage parents, you know, like, hey, these are great
- 21:25books.
- 21:26It's time, even if it's 10 minutes a night, I mean, that's where I'm ending up nowadays
- 21:30is just, you know, just a little, you know, Rome isn't built in a day, so you just read
- 21:34a little bit every night and it's, it's amazing what you can get through.
- 21:37Yeah, you said, you think it's getting a little better, thank you for your optimism.
- 21:42But then you said, but it's, but you don't think it's enough understatement, because I mean,
- 21:47we have people from all around the country touch base with us and I have guests from different
- 21:52parts of the country and we kind of tap into the pulse of what's going on and if pastors
- 21:58aren't teaching their congregations and how are Christians in church going to get it
- 22:05if they're not doing it at home, if they're not teaching their kids at home, if they're
- 22:08not reading the right books.
- 22:09And as you said, there's programming going on that, that I, I think I'm quite a bit older
- 22:15than you even, I didn't have to deal with when I was growing up, you know, in the 60s
- 22:19or the 70s.
- 22:22And kids, what they have to deal with today and they're getting bombarded from all angles.
- 22:26So we need this kind of good information, Biblically based information, books, education,
- 22:32training, equipping, encouragement from other Christians.
- 22:36I want to give you an opportunity to Michelle to just share a little bit about your website.
- 22:40I see a tab for book fairs, I also see frequently asked questions.
- 22:46So wherever you want to go right now, we've got five minutes left.
- 22:50OK, well, was something that we're trying to promote a lot right now is the book, Family
- 22:54Books Savings Club.
- 22:55That's something that I think could be really valuable because, you know, I think I'm
- 22:59not saying anything really all that surprising to say that everyone's busy.
- 23:03And what that, what we're trying to offer to families is a way to get books into their
- 23:09children's hands that have been vetted and it's, you know, you can get it depending
- 23:14on the size of your family or how many books your kids read.
- 23:18You can get books sent to your home every month and we try to customize it.
- 23:22So if your kids like, you know, a certain genre of books and we send those kinds of books
- 23:26to you and that's actually for, you know, we have this available for children, for, you
- 23:32know, little children, teens or for adults.
- 23:36So, so yeah, so that's that's something that we're trying to encourage families to look
- 23:41into because, you know, it's just an easy way to be able to help children to just get
- 23:48some great books into their hands.
- 23:49I mean, the garbage that is so many libraries, it's insane.
- 23:52Like, you can't even, I know that I've even been to the library and brought home a book
- 23:57only to discover it's, you know, something that's, they're trying to normalize, you know,
- 24:02two dads or two moms or whatever.
- 24:04And this is, you know, and I'm looking at the book.
- 24:07It's not as if I'm, I'm not, but by the time I bring it home and I'm reading it and
- 24:11I'm like, oh my goodness, I cannot believe that this is there.
- 24:14And kids are reading this, right?
- 24:15Yes.
- 24:16Children.
- 24:18You know, I'm glad you mentioned libraries.
- 24:20We're down to just a three and a half minutes Michelle libraries.
- 24:23I think a lot of parents, I mean, this, this kind of went under the radar on how the
- 24:27libraries became, well, you know, they have awful books.
- 24:33I mean, some, somewhat pornographic, all pro LGBTQ, a lot of anti-biblical worldview
- 24:39anti-Christian, a lot of books that, that have no business being in young, young kids,
- 24:45you know, children's hands, let alone, you know, there for anybody to look at.
- 24:49So this is a problem.
- 24:51And then we saw the drag queen story hours in public libraries and people just, we're
- 24:55not connecting the dots to how we got there.
- 24:58So in the last couple of minutes, just share a little bit more about your concern about
- 25:02libraries and, and whatever you else want to talk to tackle right now.
- 25:06Sure.
- 25:07I know that actually I had done a little bit of research on this for specifically the
- 25:11LGBTQ issue and it's pretty amazing in the last 10 years.
- 25:16There's been an increase anywhere between, I mean, I've seen numbers from 400 to 900 percent
- 25:20increase in the amount of LGBTQ titles.
- 25:25So I mean, it's just amazing and, and you know, often the cover you would not know, you
- 25:31wouldn't know that there's something that's been in there, that's, that's been put in there.
- 25:35But again, it's just normalizing which should never be normalized.
- 25:39And so we have to, I just think that we have to, we just have to be so careful.
- 25:44And even when we are careful, things slip in.
- 25:46I mean, I know that we had one of my children was reading a book.
- 25:52It was the, oh, the, the Winds of Fire series.
- 25:54I don't know if you're familiar with that series, but all my kids love them.
- 25:58And then my, my one daughter, my number four, who we thought was the last one.
- 26:02She was reading one of the books and she was like, mom, is this what I think it is?
- 26:07And I looked at the book and I was like shocked that for no reason, they just ruined a lesbian
- 26:15relationship.
- 26:16And, you know, it's just, so it's one of those things that, oh, you think you're okay,
- 26:21because the first few books are fine.
- 26:23Why would, why would there be anything that's introduced?
- 26:26But they will slip it in.
- 26:27And so, so yeah, so we, we really try to be as careful as possible vetting the books
- 26:32so that you don't have to worry about that.
- 26:34But, you know, there's, if there's something questionable, you know, we, we pull the book
- 26:38or, you know, if it somehow got through, we pull the book.
- 26:42But in general, we try just to not have it on there at all.
- 26:45And so, yeah, it's just, it's, that's why I think that the family, book family subscription
- 26:51is really helpful because, you know, it's just your, your children, it's like you're,
- 26:55you get to build your own home library, which I think would be, like, you know, very,
- 27:00very helpful.
- 27:01And as you get more memberships, you get more of a percentage off.
- 27:03Michelle, I think a lot of people are going to want more information.
- 27:06I'm hoping in that this podcast gets out there.
- 27:09But to get a hold of you is the best way to go to the contact us.
- 27:13And that will go to you and you'll be able to respond.
- 27:16Okay, that's so friends, again, mud hen mama dot com, very important.
- 27:22And this is my goodness books.
- 27:25Bring them back, bring back books, you know, kids don't even read as much as they used to.
- 27:30But, um, and parents have something to do with that.
- 27:32But here we are.
- 27:33We've got opportunities to support something like this.
- 27:35We appreciate your time today.
- 27:36Went by fast.
- 27:37Thank you for all that you're doing and sharing.
- 27:39And God bless you, your family, Michelle.
- 27:41Good to spend time with you today.
- 27:43Thank you so much, David.
- 27:45You're most welcome.
- 27:45All right, friends, God bless you.
- 27:47And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
