ROC Airport is getting a major upgrade with over $5.4 million in federal cash, part of a $63 million statewide initiative to modernize upstate New York’s airports. Funds will fix taxiways, rebuild terminal sections including customs areas, upgrade apron lighting, replace baggage claim components (still in design phase), and improve access roads—all aimed at keeping ROC competitive and safe for today’s air travel demands.
