2:08
Speaker 2: Jared Page. Good morning, sir, welcome to the show.
2:10
Speaker 4: Good morning, Dave.
2:11
Speaker 2: How you doing. I'm doing fine. Thanks for being the
2:13
Speaker 2: first of all. Are you doing okay after the Eagles
2:17
Speaker 2: lost yesterday? Because I know you're a huge Eagles fan.
2:20
Speaker 4: Well, it's funny. We agreed that we weren't going to
2:21
Speaker 4: bring that.
2:22
Speaker 2: Up, and I've already violated. We violated already out of
2:26
Speaker 2: the gate.
2:27
Speaker 4: But you know, I typically bring up football. It's something
2:30
Speaker 4: that we can all come together and poke some fun
2:34
Speaker 4: with each other about. So I'll gladly take it. But
2:38
Speaker 4: I was looking yesterday and I guess tonight there's game tonight.
2:41
Speaker 4: I didn't see any Dallas games anywhere.
2:44
Speaker 2: So now we have home field advantage on the Carter
2:49
Speaker 2: with the rest of the NFC East, now including Philadelphia. Look, yes,
2:52
Speaker 2: I you know just I cannot stand the San Francisco
2:57
Speaker 2: forty nine ers. Okay, sorry to my buddy JD, who
2:59
Speaker 2: is a huge, huge forty nine ers fans. You know
3:01
Speaker 2: why I don't like the forty nine ers. The catch,
3:04
Speaker 2: you know, how many times as a Cowboy fan since
3:06
Speaker 2: nineteen eighty one eighty two, I have had to see
3:08
Speaker 2: Dwight Clark going over Everson Walls for the catch. So
3:12
Speaker 2: I love San Francisco, but as a Cowboy fan, you know,
3:15
Speaker 2: I have no love for the Giants, Eagles, or Commanders.
3:18
Speaker 2: So Eagles are done. I'm hitching the wagon, although I
3:21
Speaker 2: don't think I'm gonna go very far with the Bears
3:23
Speaker 2: because my wife's from Chicago. They're all Bears fans. They
3:26
Speaker 2: came back and won that game on Saturday night, so
3:29
Speaker 2: that's where I'm going from this point on. It's the
3:31
Speaker 2: Chicago Bears.
3:31
Speaker 4: But I normally stay in the NFC just to, you know, say,
3:35
Speaker 4: show some loyalty, but I think I got to go
3:37
Speaker 4: with the Buffalo Bills this time. Get you know, let
3:39
Speaker 4: them have their moment of glory. I'm not sure they're
3:42
Speaker 4: gonna get They're gonna get their Denver's gonna be tough to.
3:45
Speaker 2: I mean, let me tell you, Josh Allen's a tank
3:48
Speaker 2: and that play that he did yesterday and then they
3:51
Speaker 2: ended up calling him down, which was the correct call.
3:54
Speaker 2: He carried like twenty seven members of the defense over
3:58
Speaker 2: the goal line. Yesterday. Then they called him down. He
4:00
Speaker 2: went back and he did it again. He's he's something else.
4:02
Speaker 4: He really play play. But no, I appreciate you bringing
4:05
Speaker 4: it up. I always appreciate the fund fun gestures. It's
4:08
Speaker 4: just typically on this show, I either get harassed by
4:11
Speaker 4: you and the cowboys. You're President Selango and his alma mater,
4:16
Speaker 4: his high school alma mater, defeating my high school alma mater.
4:19
Speaker 4: So I'm used to it.
4:21
Speaker 2: It's all it's all in good fun. I mean, that's
4:23
Speaker 2: what we got to kind of get it back to.
4:24
Speaker 2: All right, so let's get let's get back down to it.
4:27
Speaker 2: You're a candidate for Knall County Mission Commission. While you're
4:30
Speaker 2: running for commission.
4:32
Speaker 4: Well, Dave, to be honest with you, the Kenanall County
4:35
Speaker 4: Commission was something that I've always respected. I've respected the
4:40
Speaker 4: men and women who have served on the Kenall County Commission,
4:45
Speaker 4: and uh, I want to have filed officially. I will
4:50
Speaker 4: say that I did file first thing this morning, was
4:52
Speaker 4: first candidate. Uh and and the clerk's office did a
4:55
Speaker 4: tremendous job. They they they kind of laughed. Here I
4:59
Speaker 4: am coming first thing Monday morning, and get make sure
5:02
Speaker 4: everything's ready. So I was the guinea pig and everything
5:05
Speaker 4: went well. So I have to give Clerk McCormick a
5:07
Speaker 4: big shout out and her staff. It's going to be
5:09
Speaker 4: a busy week. But I'm running for the Kanaal County
5:11
Speaker 4: Commission Commission because I believe in the strength of our
5:15
Speaker 4: communities and I believe in our communities coming together to
5:20
Speaker 4: build a better county. I want to continue the good
5:23
Speaker 4: work of the Kanal County Commission with tearing down dilapidata
5:28
Speaker 4: structures to improve the quality of life for all Kanaal Countians.
5:34
Speaker 4: I've seen it as municipal judge and as a city
5:37
Speaker 4: elected official what the negative impacts of dilapidata structures are
5:42
Speaker 4: with property values, just general negativity as well as crime
5:49
Speaker 4: increases in those areas. So we need to continue the
5:53
Speaker 4: good work of the Commission double down the efforts to
5:56
Speaker 4: tear down to the lapidata structures that are within the
5:58
Speaker 4: County's purview UH to im crew and improve the quality
6:02
Speaker 4: of life. Sports tourism. I've said this before, what and
6:08
Speaker 4: I say this as a golfer. I'm golf pretty not
6:11
Speaker 4: as regular as I used to, but still pretty regularly.
6:15
Speaker 2: But you're really not very good.
6:16
Speaker 4: I'm better than the guy named Brad.
6:19
Speaker 2: Anytime you're on the show, mutual friend Brad's story always
6:21
Speaker 2: wants me to bring up golf.
6:23
Speaker 3: Uh.
6:23
Speaker 2: Uh me ride you about your golf games.
6:25
Speaker 4: Yes, he's a San Francisco fan, so I double but anyway, Uh.
6:30
Speaker 4: But I say this as someone who used to frequent
6:32
Speaker 4: Shawnee golf course. What President Selango and the County Commission
6:37
Speaker 4: has done at Shawnee is tremendous.
6:40
Speaker 5: Uh.
6:41
Speaker 4: I have turned into a pretty decent for a fat
6:44
Speaker 4: guy pickleball player.
6:46
Speaker 5: Uh.
6:46
Speaker 4: And so I enjoy the amentities over there, and I
6:49
Speaker 4: want to continue and build on that. Commissioner Wheeler has
6:54
Speaker 4: done a tremendous job with our parks and rec uh.
6:58
Speaker 4: Working with the Parks of Recremission. They've done a great
7:02
Speaker 4: job at Coonskin. I was just out there for the
7:06
Speaker 4: Christmas tree lighting that they did a great job with
7:10
Speaker 4: all that and Big Bend that's kind of my home
7:14
Speaker 4: away from home. I want to continue the efforts there
7:18
Speaker 4: and so that way can all Countians can have places
7:21
Speaker 4: to go spend time, be active, be out in their community.
7:26
Speaker 4: And finally, I want to continue to work with Sheriff
7:29
Speaker 4: Crawford to do a great job of a good job
7:33
Speaker 4: of keeping our streets safe as well as our schools safe.
7:37
Speaker 2: Believe if you have.
7:38
Speaker 4: Safe communities, safe schools, a place where children and families
7:43
Speaker 4: can come together, play, be active, and be safe and
7:48
Speaker 4: also have just a great quality of life to where
7:52
Speaker 4: we want people to come here and people want to
7:55
Speaker 4: come here. That also attracts business here and so that
7:59
Speaker 4: way people have opportunities to work. And that's why I'm
8:03
Speaker 4: running for County Kanaal County Commission. I think the County
8:06
Speaker 4: Commission has done a great job during all three of
8:08
Speaker 4: those but I just want to continue to build and
8:10
Speaker 4: bring a perspective of unity. I come from the city
8:14
Speaker 4: government world. That's a unique perspective for county commissions. So
8:17
Speaker 4: a lot of times there's a disconnect. Is not in
8:20
Speaker 4: Kannall County, but other county have friends across state and
8:24
Speaker 4: I'm board member of the Municipal League and they'll say,
8:27
Speaker 4: we have a real disconnect between our cities and our
8:30
Speaker 4: county officials. And I can bring a unique perspective from
8:35
Speaker 4: that from working in a city government as a department
8:39
Speaker 4: head and as an elected leader from my community I've
8:44
Speaker 4: traveled throughout the county during the last few months. I
8:48
Speaker 4: fill pre candidcy in October. I've been everywhere from Marmatt
8:53
Speaker 4: to Montgomery, to Sissonville to Elk River, even went to Nitro,
9:00
Speaker 4: don't you know, normally don't go to Nitro too often.
9:01
Speaker 4: That's across the River Endemy territory. But now I've got
9:04
Speaker 4: a lot of friends in Nitro and and to Charleston
9:08
Speaker 4: South Charleston. And what I really want to be at
9:13
Speaker 4: having the local experience and understanding the importance of community
9:18
Speaker 4: is I plan to be a commissioner for all of
9:20
Speaker 4: Kanall County, planned to be visible out and about in
9:25
Speaker 4: these communities. And that's that's candidly why I have seen
9:29
Speaker 4: a overwhelmingly positive support uh and response to my candidacy,
9:35
Speaker 4: because I have physically went out, met with people, met
9:38
Speaker 4: with mayors, met with city council representatives as well as
9:41
Speaker 4: our local representatives in the state legislature, and we're just
9:44
Speaker 4: going to continue doing positive things for the citizens of
9:48
Speaker 4: Kanall County.
9:49
Speaker 2: Talking to Jared Page again, who's a candidate for Kanawha
9:51
Speaker 2: County commission I thought it was interesting that you brought
9:54
Speaker 2: that up, and I was going to anyway. H Kanawha
9:56
Speaker 2: County is the largest county you know, in the state,
9:59
Speaker 2: and and it can be very different, you know, because
10:03
Speaker 2: you're a canaw County commissioner if you're elected, and the
10:06
Speaker 2: other two currently or other three that are sitting at
10:09
Speaker 2: the desk now are you are a commissioner for the
10:11
Speaker 2: entire county. And sometimes what's going on in Cistonville couldn't
10:15
Speaker 2: be any further from what's going on in downtown Charleston,
10:17
Speaker 2: or what South Charleston has got going on. Maybe is
10:20
Speaker 2: not of interest that much to Tornado or whatever. I'm
10:23
Speaker 2: just throwing that out there. But it's unique because you've
10:26
Speaker 2: got to be able to sit down and listen to
10:28
Speaker 2: the concerns and govern the entire county.
10:31
Speaker 4: You really do. And Kannall County is unique. I always
10:35
Speaker 4: tell people who are not from West Virginia. West Virginia
10:37
Speaker 4: generally is a unique state. And I think Kannall County
10:40
Speaker 4: is a unique county because the wants and needs in Systmville,
10:44
Speaker 4: for example, are completely different than the wants and needs
10:48
Speaker 4: in South Charleston. The wants and needs in Dumbbar completely
10:52
Speaker 4: different than Glasgow. And so I think that it is
10:57
Speaker 4: key for the County Commission to have representatives who can
11:01
Speaker 4: relate and unify people from all walks of life. I've
11:06
Speaker 4: done that my whole life. I did that on city Council.
11:11
Speaker 4: I've worked with people who at one time may have
11:14
Speaker 4: been political enemies, and I work with people who have
11:17
Speaker 4: been my friends for a long time to do the
11:20
Speaker 4: betterment for the betterment of our community. And I plan
11:23
Speaker 4: to do out in the County Commission because I can
11:25
Speaker 4: sit and have the same conversation with somebody from the
11:29
Speaker 4: Elk River, for example, and then turn around and come
11:33
Speaker 4: here in Charleston and have that same conversation. Obviously, the
11:37
Speaker 4: wants and needs are different, and that's great. That's we
11:40
Speaker 4: want that. We want people to to to be different.
11:45
Speaker 4: If we are all the same, then that that's very problematic.
11:49
Speaker 4: And I come from a different walk of life. I
11:52
Speaker 4: don't come from a political family. I do not come
11:56
Speaker 4: from a political dynasty family. We'll call it at all.
12:00
Speaker 4: I k was raised by a Brink Corps veteran and
12:04
Speaker 4: police officer. Mother's from Meda Bridge, West Virginia. If anybody
12:08
Speaker 4: listened those where meta bridges at there, I know it well,
12:10
Speaker 4: you know well the Wildcats. But I was raised to
12:17
Speaker 4: work hard, to always do the right thing, and to
12:20
Speaker 4: have high ethical and moral compass for myself as well
12:24
Speaker 4: as others. And that's how I've governed in Saint Albans
12:27
Speaker 4: and that's how I will govern for the Kenall County Commission.

12:41
Speaker 2: about a minute of Julett, but give us some of
12:42
Speaker 2: your background. You've kind of touched on at city government,
12:45
Speaker 2: very involved in things in Saint Albans, also at the
12:47
Speaker 2: capitol in state level. Give us the bio.
12:49
Speaker 4: So I was born and raised in St. Albans. Technically
12:52
Speaker 4: I was born in South Charleston of Thomas, but lived
12:55
Speaker 4: my whole life in Saint Albans. Been a lifelong Kannall
12:58
Speaker 4: County and attended public school rules in Knall County Central Elementary,
13:04
Speaker 4: McKinley Middle Hate, Kenley's not around anymore, but uh and
13:09
Speaker 4: then Saint Om's High School. I earned undergraduate and graduate
13:12
Speaker 4: degrees from the University of Charleston, so all of my
13:15
Speaker 4: education is here in Kanall County. I have worked for
13:18
Speaker 4: the state government for several years now I have as
13:23
Speaker 4: far as my political history, I was appointed for municipal
13:26
Speaker 4: appointed municipal judge City Saint Aubin's served for three and
13:29
Speaker 4: a half years. During that time, we were able to
13:33
Speaker 4: move into our new court facility. With the work of
13:35
Speaker 4: Sheriff Crawford and then Chief Gilbert, we were able to
13:39
Speaker 4: collaborate and make that happen. We also and we also
13:43
Speaker 4: upgraded our technologies to where our response time was much
13:47
Speaker 4: quicker to help with officer safety. And then I ran
13:52
Speaker 4: on behalf by request of a now delegate Walter Hall,
13:56
Speaker 4: for his council seat, was victorious, and then was unanimually
13:59
Speaker 4: chosen by city council to serve as our vice mayor
14:02
Speaker 4: and I have been in that position for a year
14:06
Speaker 4: and a half now and I enjoy it. We've been
14:08
Speaker 4: able to give our police officers a pay raise, We've
14:11
Speaker 4: been able to keep them safe by giving them body cams.
14:14
Speaker 4: We've been able to work with the dilapidata structures of
14:16
Speaker 4: Saint Albas by creating a land reuse agency. Uh and
14:20
Speaker 4: we've been able to create an economic impact on our
14:22
Speaker 4: main street with some legislation. And I was recently, as
14:27
Speaker 4: of January first, just became president of our Saint Alms
14:30
Speaker 4: Area Chamber of Commerce, which is just not Saint Albans,
14:32
Speaker 4: it stretches. You know, we have people from Putnam County
14:35
Speaker 4: all the way to South Charleston and we're really working
14:39
Speaker 4: to promote business development and economic development opportunities in the city.
14:43
Speaker 4: And uh So that's a quick one minutes in offices.
14:47
Speaker 4: And I do want to say one thing I got
14:48
Speaker 4: to give It was Chris holiday season to give our
14:51
Speaker 4: Saint Albas Parks, a recreation headed by Kevin Pennington, a
14:56
Speaker 4: big shout out for another successful year of the festival lights.
14:59
Speaker 4: U That's that's something in Kannall County that that really
15:02
Speaker 4: makes an All's County special. These these traditions and small
15:06
Speaker 4: things across the county. People love it, and I just
15:09
Speaker 4: wanted to give them a big shout out. They don't
15:12
Speaker 4: always get the credit that they deserve because you know,
15:17
Speaker 4: they don't know we don't people don't know how much hours,
15:20
Speaker 4: how many hours go into building those lights and different things.
15:23
Speaker 4: I wanted to give them a shout out after the
15:24
Speaker 4: Christmas Eve.
15:25
Speaker 2: If you're a social media Facebook anything, yes.
15:28
Speaker 4: Say and go to Facebook, It'll be under Jared page.
15:30
Speaker 4: It'll count, it will be come up the commission page.
15:33
Speaker 4: You can follow me there.
15:34
Speaker 2: Uh.
15:35
Speaker 4: And we'll be starting to get a website here next
15:37
Speaker 4: few weeks as the campaign momentum builds. Currently, still don't
15:44
Speaker 4: have any opponents. Hopefully knocking on woo will keep it
15:47
Speaker 4: that way. It's still very early.
15:49
Speaker 2: If you, if people do sign up to want to run,
15:54
Speaker 2: would you be open to a like a debate or
15:56
Speaker 2: meet the candidate's format.
15:58
Speaker 4: I believe that trans he is key, and I believe
16:02
Speaker 4: that voters of Kanall County should have the ability to
16:05
Speaker 4: understand the candidates and who what they what their values are,
16:09
Speaker 4: and what they believe in. And I've always been an
16:12
Speaker 4: open book as far as always meeting with voters, I've done.
16:16
Speaker 4: I've been out and about through the community, meeting as
16:19
Speaker 4: many people as I can. I've met thousands of people
16:21
Speaker 4: so far, uh, and I'm always willing to meet more.
16:24
Speaker 4: And I've always been a firm believer of this as
16:27
Speaker 4: a governing and a governance standpoint. As is just a person.
16:32
Speaker 4: I will meet with anybody. I will meet, and I
16:35
Speaker 4: ask people in the city I met with people over
16:38
Speaker 4: issues that they are night and day different versus my opinion.
16:41
Speaker 4: But I will always meet, I will always look for
16:43
Speaker 4: compromise and as why I've always been considered as a
16:46
Speaker 4: unifier and I look to bring that to the Kanall
16:50
Speaker 4: County Commission.
16:50
Speaker 2: It's your best, lucky your campaign, Jared Page. Appreciate you
16:53
Speaker 2: being here man.
16:53
Speaker 4: Thank you suing it very much. I would say flag
16:55
Speaker 4: was fly. That's good now, so I appreciate that.

19:50
Speaker 6: Thank you, Happy New Year to you too. I'm so
19:52
Speaker 6: excited to kick it off with Carnival this year.
19:54
Speaker 2: Carnival talk about it.
19:56
Speaker 6: So we're getting really close to Carnival. We've been doing
19:58
Speaker 6: a lot of planning the theme this year's reflection. I
20:01
Speaker 6: want you guys to know we've got great music coming.
20:04
Speaker 6: I've booked three acts. We have Punch, which is an
20:08
Speaker 6: eight piece band. They have a male and female vocalist
20:12
Speaker 6: and they have all the songs you know in love
20:14
Speaker 6: plus some.
20:15
Speaker 2: Okay.
20:16
Speaker 6: Then we look over at Hot Jazz of Charleston. They're
20:18
Speaker 6: going to be in our Walker Theater. They are a
20:20
Speaker 6: beloved repeated act and you can get your jazz on
20:23
Speaker 6: while eating some delicious food which I'll get to in
20:26
Speaker 6: a second.
20:26
Speaker 4: Okay, And Hot off of his Prome.
20:29
Speaker 6: One on one opening is going to be DJEJ.
20:31
Speaker 4: Who's going to keep my man.
20:32
Speaker 6: Yes, he's going to keep it pomping all night. If
20:35
Speaker 6: y'all have ever been to a DJEJ show, you know
20:38
Speaker 6: that he is an amazing DJ.
20:40
Speaker 2: I have been to events that DJEJ has DJ that
20:43
Speaker 2: weren't even what I would say a party type atmosphere.
20:46
Speaker 2: I mean just different events where he was just kind
20:48
Speaker 2: of the background, and he's still rocked it. He still
20:51
Speaker 2: had people doing this thing. I can imagine when you
20:53
Speaker 2: put him in that type of setting when it is
20:54
Speaker 2: a party, how good it's going to be.
20:56
Speaker 6: Oh exactly. And we give him so much creative freedom.
20:58
Speaker 6: So if you're sitting here wonder what it's like, just
21:01
Speaker 6: go to one of his other shows and you'll see
21:03
Speaker 6: he can really keep it rolling. He keeps people on
21:05
Speaker 6: task and he chooses the best beats. Now, in terms
21:09
Speaker 6: of food, don't even get me started. So we're catering
21:14
Speaker 6: with ten Tin this year, which is making a change.
21:16
Speaker 6: We've never worked with ten ten for this event. So
21:19
Speaker 6: I can give you some sample info off the menu.
21:22
Speaker 2: Rather you give me some sample food, but go ahead.
21:25
Speaker 6: So we're looking at some smoked trout with crim fresh
21:29
Speaker 6: cones with caviaar on top. Sounds delicious, right, Yeah, So
21:33
Speaker 6: we're keeping it classy but keeping it yummy. And there's
21:36
Speaker 6: going to be sliders, there's going to be shrimp shots
21:39
Speaker 6: with some comeback sauce. We're gonna have sharcucie boards.
21:45
Speaker 2: And you said it because I just called it cheese
21:46
Speaker 2: and meat, but go ahead.
21:48
Speaker 6: See I can't keep it simple. But ten ten has
21:52
Speaker 6: really worked hard on this menu for us. Chef Paul
21:55
Speaker 6: he was in one of our meetings and we're just
21:57
Speaker 6: really honored to get to work with him for this
21:58
Speaker 6: event because it is the biggest event we have all year.
22:01
Speaker 1: It is.
22:03
Speaker 6: Sometimes up to like seven hundred some people.
22:06
Speaker 2: And where we didn't get the whar and win, so
22:08
Speaker 2: let's get that in there, okay, of course.
22:10
Speaker 6: So January thirty, first, we're going to have ga arriving
22:13
Speaker 6: at seven point thirty, so you can party from seven
22:16
Speaker 6: thirty pm to about eleven thirty pm. Now we're going
22:20
Speaker 6: to have drinks and stuff too, so make sure you
22:23
Speaker 6: have a DD or you're ready to go. We have
22:25
Speaker 6: a goodbye goodie snack too, and I'll leave that a
22:28
Speaker 6: surprise because as you exit, we want to make sure
22:30
Speaker 6: you're tummy's full.
22:31
Speaker 2: Okay, all right? And where is it going to be home?
22:33
Speaker 6: Here at the Clay Center just up the road. So
22:37
Speaker 6: what I love about this event is that the entire
22:39
Speaker 6: Clay Center is going to be all decorated up. I
22:41
Speaker 6: have been working diligently to make sure that there is
22:44
Speaker 6: not a blank space in the building. So when you
22:47
Speaker 6: walk in, prepare to be wowed.
22:50
Speaker 2: And it's happening January thirty first at the Clay Center.
22:53
Speaker 2: And I mean we're talking. I mean this is like
22:55
Speaker 2: one of the two or three, if not the premier
22:57
Speaker 2: event in Charleston every year.
22:59
Speaker 6: No, definitely, there's a mix of the who's who and
23:01
Speaker 6: the people that just want to come be around. It
23:04
Speaker 6: is everybody there. We have, like I said, around seven
23:09
Speaker 6: hundred people usually come, and it's our fifteenth anniversary this year,
23:12
Speaker 6: so it's really more excitement than usual already.
23:16
Speaker 2: Does it Is it possible that it sells out?
23:18
Speaker 6: So I'm gonna be real with you, David sells out
23:21
Speaker 6: every year. Okay, Okay, we have an excellent track record
23:24
Speaker 6: of selling this event out, and tickets are moving faster
23:27
Speaker 6: now because people are feeling the urgency. A lot of
23:29
Speaker 6: people wait till the last minute. You know how it
23:31
Speaker 6: is because we have Christmas, then we have Carnival, which
23:34
Speaker 6: is like second Christmas, so we have to think about
23:37
Speaker 6: what our plans are. I'm noticing a lot of people
23:40
Speaker 6: are buying in groups. So what I want to advise
23:42
Speaker 6: listeners of today is if you're just thinking about it,
23:45
Speaker 6: I would hit that buy button because you and your
23:48
Speaker 6: friends don't want to leave somebody out.
23:50
Speaker 2: And what do you do that? When do you buy
23:51
Speaker 2: their tickets?
23:52
Speaker 6: So you can go on the clay Center website click
23:54
Speaker 6: the little tickets button, so Claycenter dot org tickets and
23:57
Speaker 6: then you'll find your cardival there you'll find can all
24:00
Speaker 6: right there. You can also go to V one hundred
24:02
Speaker 6: and you have a banner with our info on it.
24:04
Speaker 6: You can click that as well.

24:22
Speaker 2: you don't know can hurt you. What about corporate sponsorship?
24:25
Speaker 2: Do we do corporate sponsorship? Can people buy tables? What's
24:28
Speaker 2: the Yeah, that's always we get conroll.
24:30
Speaker 6: If people are interested in corporate sponsorship, you can email
24:33
Speaker 6: me S M A R L I N G. At
24:36
Speaker 6: the Claycenter dot org. We have multiple levels. You can
24:38
Speaker 6: reserve tables and we can have tables on the stage
24:42
Speaker 6: where the main music is punch, or you can have
24:45
Speaker 6: tables in the grand lobby where DJEJ is close to
24:48
Speaker 6: the food. But we have those starting at twelve hundred dollars.
24:52
Speaker 6: I mean, when your business is getting recognized like that
24:55
Speaker 6: among the who's who and everyone else is coming there
24:58
Speaker 6: to see you know this back spectacular Carnival, you want
25:03
Speaker 6: your name on those tickets. You want your name out there.
25:05
Speaker 2: Is there a deadline or when would you need to
25:07
Speaker 2: know that? Because I know that when you do tables
25:09
Speaker 2: and things that you got to have a deadline for
25:11
Speaker 2: signage and programs and things. That is there an ideal
25:14
Speaker 2: time that people should do that by at like a date?
25:17
Speaker 6: That's a great question. If people can get that into
25:20
Speaker 6: me this week, that would be.
25:21
Speaker 2: Most preferable this week this week, okay, And don't wait
25:24
Speaker 2: to buy your tickets at the last minute, as you said, everybody,
25:27
Speaker 2: especially this time of year when it's winter time and
25:28
Speaker 2: nobody knows whether it's going to be sixty five or
25:31
Speaker 2: sixteen below. That's welcome to January and West Virginia. You
25:34
Speaker 2: just never know. But don't wait on the tickets. And look, you,
25:37
Speaker 2: when you buy the tickets for Carnival, you are supporting
25:40
Speaker 2: everything that goes on to Clay Center, from everything from
25:44
Speaker 2: the wonderful concerts that are there, but also the theater productions,
25:48
Speaker 2: the scientific part of it. You are doing everything.
25:51
Speaker 5: Well.
25:52
Speaker 6: Yeah, think about all those kids when you walk into
25:54
Speaker 6: the Clay Center. They're climbing Ashton's climbing sculpture in the
25:56
Speaker 6: middle of the room. I took my kids to see
25:59
Speaker 6: Warhol and they were amazed. Those are the things that
26:02
Speaker 6: we're powering with Carnival. You cannot buy that anywhere else
26:06
Speaker 6: because the Clay Center is the only place here in
26:08
Speaker 6: the region that does all of that. You can go
26:11
Speaker 6: see the Book of Mormon one day, go see Warhol
26:14
Speaker 6: the next, take your kids to the Discovery Museum another
26:17
Speaker 6: and then.
26:17
Speaker 2: See some pretty good rock concerts from time to town
26:19
Speaker 2: there as well. It all goes together. Talk about the
26:21
Speaker 2: Friends of Clay.
26:22
Speaker 6: So Friends of Clay is a volunteer organization, especially for
26:26
Speaker 6: young professionals, where they get together and they host events
26:30
Speaker 6: like Carnival and an upcoming one called Jazz and John
26:32
Speaker 6: Balaih in the spring. They do work for the Clay Center,
26:35
Speaker 6: so during Carnival you'll probably see people working along with
26:39
Speaker 6: the staff putting stuff together. They help us with things
26:42
Speaker 6: like sponsorships. They really bring the event together with their connections,
26:47
Speaker 6: with their hard work and their talent. I'm really impressed
26:50
Speaker 6: to be working with such a group of people, and
26:52
Speaker 6: I highly advise anyone looking for networking opportunities, people who
26:55
Speaker 6: are interested in meeting other young professionals like them, to
26:58
Speaker 6: get involved with Friends of Clay. One way you can
27:00
Speaker 6: do that is by purchasing a host sponsorship, which is
27:03
Speaker 6: six hundred dollars and can be broken up into increments
27:06
Speaker 6: of four payments. So if you do that, you're actually
27:10
Speaker 6: a Friends of Clay member and you can come to
27:11
Speaker 6: our events. And I'm thinking about ways to revamp this
27:14
Speaker 6: program all the time. I'm talking like I want to
27:17
Speaker 6: do field trips, I want y'all to have fun.
27:19
Speaker 2: So all this available on the website, I mean information
27:22
Speaker 2: of you. They want more about friendsic Clyad, you have
27:24
Speaker 2: that available on the website.
27:25
Speaker 6: Yeah, we have information on the website. But they could
27:27
Speaker 6: also email me, like I said, s Marling at the
27:29
Speaker 6: Claycenter dot org and can I can connect with anything?
27:32
Speaker 2: All right? Give us the dates for carnival again, and
27:34
Speaker 2: get those tickets. If you want to be a corporate
27:35
Speaker 2: sponsor by a table whatever, probably need to do that
27:38
Speaker 2: this week. That would be the ideal thing to do.
27:41
Speaker 2: Don't wait till the last minute because this thing sells
27:43
Speaker 2: out every year and it's it's on January thirty first.
27:46
Speaker 2: But to give us all the details again, time, place, date,
27:50
Speaker 2: so on and so forth.
27:51
Speaker 6: January thirty first, seven thirty pm. Clay Center just up
27:56

27:59

Speaker 2: Martin is here. Chris Miller Otto Guy, former candidate for governor,
31:46
Speaker 2: announced he will run for state Senate. He's going to
31:48
Speaker 2: stop by the show tomorrow, as well as Brian Hughes,
31:51
Speaker 2: the chair of the Charleston Stern Will wegatta. That is
31:53
Speaker 2: all coming up on tomorrow's show. Look who's here. It's
31:55
Speaker 2: Danny Jones. How are you doing, my friend?
31:57
Speaker 5: I'm doing fine.
31:58
Speaker 2: Well looking man. You're looking all to get the hair
32:01
Speaker 2: all slick. Man. You look there, you go, as my
32:03
Speaker 2: dad would say, you look good enough to be laid
32:05
Speaker 2: out there you go to southern West Virginia.
32:07
Speaker 12: Thing.
32:07
Speaker 4: By the way, God, I want to.
32:09
Speaker 2: Start Danny with wheventy five a bad joke. You don't
32:13
Speaker 2: have to then, all right, all right. I want to
32:16
Speaker 2: start with the Republican Party in West Virginia, Danny. They
32:19
Speaker 2: decided over the weekend they had their winter meeting and
32:21
Speaker 2: Charleston decided to keep their primary closed to independence. The
32:25
Speaker 2: Democratic Party, of course, remains open. Your thoughts on that
32:28
Speaker 2: I put.
32:29
Speaker 5: I responded on Facebook to two different post and one
32:39
Speaker 5: Vic Sprouse, was I thought it ought to be and
32:42
Speaker 5: he made a coach of argument that it ought to
32:45
Speaker 5: be closed, and I said, I think that's right, and
32:49
Speaker 5: I'll just continue to vote in the Democrat primary.
32:52
Speaker 2: And you're a registered independent, right right.
32:55
Speaker 5: I'll continue to vote in the Democrat primary, and I'll
32:58
Speaker 5: withhold my money from the publicans because I am in
33:01
Speaker 5: the donor class.
33:02
Speaker 2: So you can so the way it works in West Virginia.
33:05
Speaker 2: You know, in the primary, you can go in and
33:07
Speaker 2: you can say I am an affiliated, I'm an independent whatever,
33:10
Speaker 2: and I would like a Democratic ballot, and they will
33:13
Speaker 2: give now before you could say, I'll go in and
33:16
Speaker 2: I'd go in as an independent and I want a
33:18
Speaker 2: Republican or Democrat ballot. They made the decision a couple
33:20
Speaker 2: of years ago to close that. Democrats were closed you know,
33:23
Speaker 2: for some time, but they're open now, so you can
33:25
Speaker 2: go in in the primary as an independent and you
33:27
Speaker 2: can say I am an independent, but I want a
33:30
Speaker 2: Democrat ballot, and you'll get the same ballot that registered
33:33
Speaker 2: Democrats get with nothing but Democratic candidates on it. However,
33:37
Speaker 2: if you you can't, you cannot ask for a Republican
33:40
Speaker 2: ballot now, and you'll only be allowed to vote on
33:43
Speaker 2: nonpartisan racist think you know, the judicial branch and borgation,
33:48
Speaker 2: things of that nature.
33:49
Speaker 5: They forgot what got on there. They forgot the Republicans
33:53
Speaker 5: forgot what got um there, right and what got in
33:56
Speaker 5: Members have an independence vote in their primary, inclusion, not exclusion.
34:02
Speaker 2: But what would you say to those Danny that say, well,
34:05
Speaker 2: if you're a Republican and you're going to tend to
34:09
Speaker 2: vote Republican, you should just go ahead and register Republican.
34:12
Speaker 5: To that, you would say what I would say, I
34:14
Speaker 5: like being an independent, period. I like not being a
34:20
Speaker 5: member of a local political party.
34:22
Speaker 2: There's been a lot of division, and that.
34:25
Speaker 5: Was because of Trump. I mean I got out in
34:27
Speaker 5: twenty sixteen and it made a made national news and
34:32
Speaker 5: I was on the I mean I was called by.
34:35
Speaker 2: Everybody, and you were called several things. I'm sure I.
34:39
Speaker 5: Don't hate President Trump. I think he's done some good things.
34:45
Speaker 5: I mean, every time he does something good, he does
34:47
Speaker 5: something I don't like.
34:48
Speaker 2: Step forward, two steps back out.
34:49
Speaker 5: Well, I don't know. I mean he's I wish he'd
34:54
Speaker 5: in Iran wherever they're where that ten is. You know
34:59
Speaker 5: where that that I told is. I wish you'd found
35:03
Speaker 5: out where that is.
35:04
Speaker 2: I was going to ask you about Iron because over
35:06
Speaker 2: the weekend, all the national international news, a lot of
35:09
Speaker 2: it was focused on Iran, where there's just you know,
35:11
Speaker 2: demonstrations in the street. The leaders of Iran have now
35:15
Speaker 2: cut off the internet, They've cut off phones and things
35:18
Speaker 2: of that nature in Iran. It's a bad situation. I mean, yea,
35:21
Speaker 2: we think we have problems in America, but access to
35:23
Speaker 2: food is not generally speaking.
35:25
Speaker 5: Yeah, but one of them. Overall, the sanctions have heard
35:28
Speaker 5: them anyway. I mean, the sanctions have made life pretty
35:33
Speaker 5: tough over there with Iran. And they don't they don't
35:39
Speaker 5: have anywhere to go. And with what Trump ben Venezuela
35:46
Speaker 5: is going to hurt Iran, and it's gonna hurt Cuba.
35:50
Speaker 5: It's and you know, we picked off Sulomani in Iraq
36:01
Speaker 5: and through a drum strike. We could do the same
36:06
Speaker 5: thing here with the Atola.
36:07
Speaker 2: Would it calls? What kind of upheaval would it calls
36:10
Speaker 2: throughout the world if we were to do that in
36:11
Speaker 2: your care? Okay, I asked a question. I got the answer.
36:16
Speaker 5: Who cares? Nothing?
36:18
Speaker 10: Yeah?
36:18
Speaker 5: Nothing. It might bring the crown prince back, which is
36:25
Speaker 5: really the goal.
36:27
Speaker 2: I mean, that's what I'd like to see if we
36:29
Speaker 2: were to do that and pick this GalF Danny. What
36:32
Speaker 2: does it do with Russia? With our relationship with Russia
36:34
Speaker 2: in China? I didn't know, we hadn't well, I mean
36:38
Speaker 2: we you know, we obviously we have very strained relations
36:42
Speaker 2: with those countries, and we always have at least a
36:44
Speaker 2: certain extent, especially with the I mean when it comes
36:47
Speaker 2: to trade and things of that nature. But if we
36:49
Speaker 2: were to do that, would it ruffle some feathers in Moscow?
36:55
Speaker 2: I'm just asking them.
36:56
Speaker 5: No, No, what are you kidding me? They've got their
37:00
Speaker 5: own problem, now, that's true, and they are I mean
37:05
Speaker 5: they're the head of state is a war criminal, I mean,
37:09
Speaker 5: invading a sovereign country like he's done. He's got no room.
37:14
Speaker 2: What about Greenland? What are you making of that whole thing?
37:16
Speaker 6: Oh?
37:16
Speaker 5: I think it's sort ridiculous.
37:20
Speaker 2: A quote from the President on the Morning News this
37:22
Speaker 2: morning where he said something to the effect if if
37:25
Speaker 2: we don't take over Greenland, then Russia will or China will,
37:29
Speaker 2: and we cannot have them that close to us.
37:31
Speaker 5: We'll let me ask you this question. If that's true,
37:34
Speaker 5: why haven't they done it before?
37:35
Speaker 2: And that's kind of where I was.
37:36
Speaker 5: Yeah, if that's true. I mean, I'm not saying it's
37:41
Speaker 5: not a good idea, but I think it's controlled by Denmark,
37:46
Speaker 5: and if Denmark wants to chieve it or sell it,
37:53
Speaker 5: and I think we out acquiesced to whatever deal they
37:58
Speaker 5: would want to make.
37:59
Speaker 2: One of the things that that President Trump ran on,
38:02
Speaker 2: and I'm going back to twenty sixteen was America first,
38:05
Speaker 2: you know, I mean almost the term isolationists was thrown
38:08
Speaker 2: out there a lot right or wrong. A lot of
38:11
Speaker 2: what's been going on. You think Venezuela and the talks
38:14
Speaker 2: about whatever they're going to do in Greenland, it's it's
38:18
Speaker 2: not very isolationist, no, and I like it.
38:23
Speaker 5: And I don't believe we should be isolation Okay. I
38:26
Speaker 5: believe in NATO, I believe has very goldwater, believe that
38:32
Speaker 5: our ocean should be great highways for trade between all
38:37
Speaker 5: the NATO countries in US, and now Trump's hurt that.
38:44
Speaker 5: Why in the world would you pick a fight with Canada?
38:48
Speaker 2: What do they ever do to us? I mean they
38:50
Speaker 2: sent us Michael J. Fox, I mean, come on in hockey,
38:53
Speaker 2: you know. So it's nine forty six a Dave Island
38:57
Speaker 2: Show on five A d Live broad to you a
38:58
Speaker 2: part by your hometown baseball team else the Dirty Birds.
39:01
Speaker 2: What a time now, but we're already thinking about baseball
39:03
Speaker 2: over Gomart Ballpark. Now would be a great time to
39:05
Speaker 2: secure your season tickets, merchandise and more. It's all available
39:07
Speaker 2: Dirtybirds baseball dot com. All right, I got to get
39:09
Speaker 2: to situation in Minneapolis and the shooting of Renee Good,
39:15
Speaker 2: of course, happened last week and ever since then we've
39:18
Speaker 2: all seen ten twenty thirty different angles of the shooting.
39:21
Speaker 2: I saw one for the first time this morning that
39:23
Speaker 2: was taken from a nearby house that actually cut off
39:27
Speaker 2: before the shooting took place, but they kind of got
39:29
Speaker 2: all of the ruckus that was going on around it.
39:32
Speaker 5: You're taking them, well, see I don't have one because
39:35
Speaker 5: I can't. Was the car a missal?
39:40
Speaker 2: Was it?
39:40
Speaker 3: Head?
39:41
Speaker 5: Right? For the guy.
39:43
Speaker 2: I mean, well, that's the argument that people say, Well,
39:46
Speaker 2: the woman that had the car, that was in the
39:49
Speaker 2: car that the officer had to make a split decision.
39:51
Speaker 2: Is my life in danger or is it not any
39:53
Speaker 2: shot or a lot of people writer this is just
39:56
Speaker 2: different opinions I'm giving a lot of people are saying, well,
39:57
Speaker 2: if that was the case, you could have shot the tires,
40:00
Speaker 2: not shot her in the face.
40:01
Speaker 5: No, I'm not worried about I don't. That's not the problem. Okay,
40:06
Speaker 5: I don't. I don't believe in that that because that
40:09
Speaker 5: wouldn't stop the car.
40:11
Speaker 2: If you shot the tires.
40:12
Speaker 5: No, okay, No, I haven't hear if driven on the
40:15
Speaker 5: cars that yes.
40:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay.
40:19
Speaker 1: But the point is is that.
40:22
Speaker 5: Was the car headed right for the guy and if
40:26
Speaker 5: it was, he's got a defense. Now the state cannot
40:31
Speaker 5: prosecute him. Yeah, that's good point, And people say, well
40:35
Speaker 5: why can't they.
40:38
Speaker 4: There is a case.
40:41
Speaker 5: In Idaho and a place called Ruby Ridge where an
40:47
Speaker 5: FBI a sniper named Lawn Horiuchi murdered a lady named
40:53
Speaker 5: Vicky Weaver. Vicky Weaver had Eliciaba, her little baby in
40:58
Speaker 5: her arms, and was trying to get in the house
41:02
Speaker 5: and he shot her right in the face and killed her.
41:07
Speaker 5: The state of Idaho indicted Horiucci, and the federal courts
41:14
Speaker 5: just pulled it out, said jurisdictions here and we're not prosecuting.
41:21
Speaker 2: And the fact that this took place in Minneapolis, which
41:24
Speaker 2: is a very I mean, I'm just stating the facts.
41:26
Speaker 2: I'm not sitting an opinion. It's a very it's a
41:28
Speaker 2: very blue area, it's very liberal area. It might have
41:31
Speaker 2: been different had this happened somewhere else, but there have
41:34
Speaker 2: I mean, the outcome. You heard what the governor said,
41:36
Speaker 2: get the blank out of two Ice, get the blank
41:38
Speaker 2: out of our of our states. So obviously there's a
41:44
Speaker 2: big disconnect here between you know, the Trump administration wants
41:47
Speaker 2: to be in there, the people buying large what I've
41:50
Speaker 2: seen the people of Minnesota, and I don't want to
41:52
Speaker 2: be majority of, but the people of Minnesota don't want
41:55
Speaker 2: them there.
41:56
Speaker 4: You know, I don't know.
41:59
Speaker 5: With the ref sources we have, which are diminishing, we
42:05
Speaker 5: spend a lot more money than we take in every year.
42:09
Speaker 5: I just don't know if it's a wise expenditure of money. Remember,
42:16
Speaker 5: most of those immigrants came from places like Texas from
42:27
Speaker 5: in Chicago, and and they were they were flowing up there,
42:31
Speaker 5: drove busted up there, and and dropped off up there.
42:37
Speaker 5: That's where most of those immigrants are from. They didn't,
42:41
Speaker 5: they didn't, didn't just land up there. A lot of
42:45
Speaker 5: those immigrants were the ones that crossed when Biden opened
42:48
Speaker 5: up the border and Governor of Texas fired up the
42:56
Speaker 5: buses and started sending them to uh place was like
43:01
Speaker 5: New York City and in Minneapolis and Chicago and all
43:08
Speaker 5: the Sanctuary city.
43:09
Speaker 2: Text says that cops shouldn't have walked in front of
43:11
Speaker 2: the car to begin with, lack of training or lack
43:14
Speaker 2: of awareness. The woman got shot over conflicting orders from ice,
43:17
Speaker 2: and that guy losing his temper because he was getting
43:20
Speaker 2: yelled at.
43:21
Speaker 5: I don't, I don't. How could a guy in front
43:24
Speaker 5: of the vehicle lose his temper? He couldn't. If she
43:30
Speaker 5: was yelling, he couldn't have even heard.
43:32
Speaker 2: Well, no, the window was down and she was the
43:34
Speaker 2: window was down. I don't know what point the window
43:37
Speaker 2: went down, but the window was down. Because she's audibly
43:41
Speaker 2: her audibly saying something to the effect of I'm not
43:44
Speaker 2: mad at you or something like that.
43:46
Speaker 5: Well, that might have made it worse because he might
43:49
Speaker 5: have he might have viewed that as a threatening I mean,
43:53
Speaker 5: we don't know as a threatening verbal gesture.
43:59
Speaker 2: Tex says, why his body cam video her little wife,
44:02
Speaker 2: He yelled, drive, baby, drive. She had this snarky, little
44:04
Speaker 2: giddy smiled on her face as she steered the car
44:07
Speaker 2: right into him and hit him hard. She knew what
44:10
Speaker 2: she was doing and you could tell that by the
44:11
Speaker 2: look on her face. Now, wait a minute, did she
44:14
Speaker 2: hit the guy? I don't think so.
44:15
Speaker 5: No, I don't think so either.
44:16
Speaker 2: I don't think so. But that's the again, fifteen different
44:20
Speaker 2: people look at the same video, and fifteen different people
44:22
Speaker 2: take But.
44:23
Speaker 5: There's gonna be a lot more videos. Yeah, oh yeah,
44:25
Speaker 5: there's gonna be videos. There's gonna be porch cams and
44:32
Speaker 5: you know what those doorbell the ring cameras, yeah, the
44:36
Speaker 5: ring cameras. There's there's gonna be cameras all over the place.
44:39
Speaker 5: That's why when somebody robs a bank, and we did
44:45
Speaker 5: this in Charleston, you go down there and you go
44:48
Speaker 5: through all the road you go through the roads and
44:51
Speaker 5: we did in Chanel City, and you get all the
44:54
Speaker 5: cameras and you follow the follow the guy talking.
44:58
Speaker 2: To former Charleston me Danny Jones. Do want to remind

45:33

45:35

48:36
Speaker 2: he knows nothing about. Rage Dames specific specifically, what is
48:41
Speaker 2: Danny talking about that he doesn't.
48:43
Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I'd like to know, because I'll straighten
48:46
Speaker 5: it out. What is it I don't know that I'm
48:49
Speaker 5: talking about. I'm not saying I'm Carmack the Magnificent here.
48:54
Speaker 5: I just give my opinion to get points for the reference.
48:57
Speaker 5: But if he's got some things wrong about or you'll
49:01
Speaker 5: correct it.
49:02
Speaker 2: Tex says, can't. Can you believe what Trump is doing
49:04
Speaker 2: to this country? The only people who continue to support
49:06
Speaker 2: him have hate festering in their hearts and soul. They've
49:09
Speaker 2: turned America into a sad, pathetic joke. Let's go back
49:12
Speaker 2: to the town that's a subjective comment. Let's go back
49:14
Speaker 2: to the Town Center for a moment. The Mayor Goodwin
49:18
Speaker 2: announcing that city Council last week that they are at
49:21
Speaker 2: least going to enter into negotiations with the Town Center folks,
49:25
Speaker 2: the whole group that owns them all, to possibly transfer
49:27
Speaker 2: it over to the mall. Go ahead and cue the
49:29
Speaker 2: people saying, Danny Oil, if we just had this store,
49:32
Speaker 2: we had that story, it would save it. It's that's
49:35
Speaker 2: not gonna It's not gonna be retail in the in
49:37
Speaker 2: my opinion, it's not going to be a retail in
49:38
Speaker 2: the future. That is not the future of the Charlestontown Center.
49:41
Speaker 2: It's probably gonna come down completely and it's going to
49:44
Speaker 2: be mixed use, you know, offices, apartment complex, maybe a
49:47
Speaker 2: couple will, maybe one retail restaurant or something.
49:50
Speaker 5: But go ahead, I'm sure she has a network of
49:55
Speaker 5: people that could help or develop that area. I mean,
50:05
Speaker 5: I do I knew who i'd call?
50:08
Speaker 2: Who would you call?
50:09
Speaker 5: Well, I can't something.
50:10
Speaker 1: Other say that.
50:11
Speaker 2: I don't mean a name, but I mean what what
50:13
Speaker 2: who like develop or develop? Okay?
50:15
Speaker 5: And people I've had dealing with before, people that want
50:23
Speaker 5: to take part of it and uh, people that have
50:28
Speaker 5: expressed interest to me and doing something big when I
50:31
Speaker 5: was when I was a mayor. But you could build
50:36
Speaker 5: one heck of an apartment complex, and.
50:39
Speaker 2: We need housing in the Kanawh Valley. We need housing desperately.
50:43
Speaker 5: You could build a heck of an apartment complex.
50:47
Speaker 2: But what would you be in favor of? Maybe what
50:49
Speaker 2: the mayor called mixed use, where it's a combination of things,
50:53
Speaker 2: because this has been done in other areas with old
50:55
Speaker 2: shopping malls. You have offices, you have apartments, you have
50:59
Speaker 2: maybe something to do with recreation in the air, and
51:01
Speaker 2: maybe you still have a retail store too. But I'm sorry,
51:04
Speaker 2: building the Lawreld's largest Spencers is not going to save
51:08
Speaker 2: the town.
51:08
Speaker 5: Said, well, what do we need?
51:11
Speaker 2: We need housing, as you said, I don't know about that.
51:14
Speaker 5: We don't need offs no.
51:15
Speaker 2: Now because more and more people are working from home. Now,
51:17
Speaker 2: I don't know necessarily that offices would be what I.
51:20
Speaker 5: Mean, I'm I live on Cory Street. I walked over here.
51:23
Speaker 5: I walked past a bunch of empty offices. Yeah, and
51:26
Speaker 5: I'm going down to Taylor's when I leave to check
51:29
Speaker 5: on my book supploy.
51:30
Speaker 2: All right, that's we haven't mentioned the book at all,
51:32
Speaker 2: so we'll close with that.
51:33
Speaker 5: So yeah, there, Taylor's got some books. Taylor's got them in,
51:36
Speaker 5: and I think I'm gonna have some more.
51:38
Speaker 3: So you should do.
51:39
Speaker 2: Another autograph signing, another sign. He won't go for that, okay,
51:43
Speaker 2: all right, yeah, all right, but the books are at
51:45
Speaker 2: Taylor's right now.
51:46
Speaker 5: I think there's still some there.
51:48
Speaker 2: All right, get your copies. Danny has always appreciate you
51:50
Speaker 2: being here. Hang out one second here, let's pick the
51:52
Speaker 2: brain of TJ. Meadows and see what he has to say.
51:54
Speaker 2: Talk line is coming up today. I have very little
51:57
Speaker 2: brain left, so there's not really a whole post.
52:00
Speaker 5: You made a post about the voting I did.
52:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we'll talk about that a little bit on.
52:07
Speaker 5: I commented, I think it was your post.
52:09
Speaker 2: Yeah you don't like it?
52:10
Speaker 5: No, I mean I just think that if if they
52:15
Speaker 5: want to exclude, they'll exclude me, and I'm I'm I'm
52:19
Speaker 5: in the I donate money.
