  Speaker 2: So I just want to reemphasize that the OTA period

  Speaker 2: is voluntary and players come and go. It's a sixth

  Speaker 2: session OTA for the Eagles, And I have the names

  Speaker 2: of the players who weren't in attendance on Wednesday when
• 1:02
  Speaker 2: we were there, and it's a it's a wide receiver
• 1:05
  Speaker 2: Aj Brown, right tackle Lane Johnson, linebacker Jahi Campbell, wide
• 1:09
  Speaker 2: receiver Dontavian Wicks, and outside linebacker Joe Tryon shoe Yanka

  Speaker 2: And on Tuesday, all but one player were there, So
• 1:18
  Speaker 2: the Eagles had near perfect attendance. And so that's why
• 1:23
  Speaker 2: context is very important here when you're talking about this.

  Speaker 2: And it's not that certain players aren't participating at all.
• 1:31
  Speaker 2: I mean summer there for the first day and it
• 1:33
  Speaker 2: kind of differs from player to player and there's various
• 1:37
  Speaker 2: reasons for that. And present but not participating were safety

  Speaker 2: coal was Newski, dB Tucker Large, and linebacker Chandler Martin.

  Speaker 2: And again this is all from Wednesday's practice that the

  Speaker 2: For the Eagles, they had practice inside because on Wednesday

  Speaker 2: it was raining, the weather wasn't great, and it was

  Speaker 2: interesting to see the Eagles fit ninety players into that

  Speaker 2: bubble because of the condensed spacing and things like that,

  Speaker 2: and the drills were pretty close in close capacity to
• 2:22
  Speaker 2: one another, but no one ran into one another. The

  Speaker 2: drills didn't necessarily bleed into the other. But it was

  Speaker 2: interesting because I had never I haven't really seen that.

  Speaker 2: Even last summer in training camp, I remember a day

  Speaker 2: where it rained pretty heavily and we were out there

  Speaker 2: on the practice field. I hadn't seen ninety players fit

  Speaker 2: inside the confines of the Eagles practice bubble, but it

  Speaker 2: was interesting and they made it work. Transaction update ahead

  Speaker 2: of Wednesday's practice, the Eagles signed wide receiver Brandon Hayes.

  Speaker 2: Hayes participated in the Eagles rookie Rookie mini camp on

  Speaker 2: a tryout basis and was among the tryouts noted previously

  Speaker 2: on Wednesday when they spoke after practice. But Andy Dalton

  Speaker 2: on this particular day assumed the second team quarterback reps
• 3:51
  Speaker 2: and Tanner McKee worked with the second group.
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: Or Tanner McKee worked with the third group.

  Speaker 2: Excuse me, but on Tuesday Tanner Rick Heyt was the

  Speaker 2: second team quarterback and Andy Dalton was the third team,
• 4:03
  Speaker 2: so there they rotated. It's commonplace for this period of
• 4:07
  Speaker 2: the offseason. You'll see a lot of mixing and matching
• 4:10
  Speaker 2: and things of that nature as coaches are trying to
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: learn their personnel and give certain players opportunities with different
• 4:17
  Speaker 2: different you know, second, third team and all that, so
• 4:20
  Speaker 2: they're kind of just mixing it up. It is worth
• 4:24
  Speaker 2: noting that rookie quarterback Cole Payton, who is fourth on
• 4:27
  Speaker 2: the depth chart, he did see a handful of reps
• 4:29
  Speaker 2: in Wednesday's practice, which should be viewed as a positive.

  Speaker 2: And with the way practices are constructed, this is why
• 4:35
  Speaker 2: I'm saying it's a positive. There aren't typically reps for
• 4:38
  Speaker 2: the fourth quarterback, whether it's pulling a quarterback from years past,

  Speaker 2: Reed Sinat or Carson Strong, or the quarterback from last season.

  Speaker 2: Dorian Thompson Robinson. Yeah, I think I think I have

  Speaker 2: that all right. But the point is is that the

  Speaker 2: fact that Eagles were able to find some reps for

  Speaker 2: Cole Payton, I thought was notable, and Cole Payton actually

  Speaker 2: threw the ball fairly well in the session. A couple

  Speaker 2: players who really stood out to me in terms of

  Speaker 2: looking as if they are bulked up noticeably compared to
• 5:22
  Speaker 2: last season. And this happens every year at this time.

  Speaker 2: you because they look more explosive or they look like

  Speaker 2: they've spent some time in the gym well.
