- 0:00Speaker 1: It's only about three hundred more weeks of him to
- 0:03Speaker 1: get through, and then you'll be fine. Got to keep
- 0:07Speaker 1: clearing my throat. I'm not sick, I just my nose
- 0:10Speaker 1: has been stuffed up for a week and a half.
- 0:12Speaker 1: It's just this ridiculously cold weather. It's gonna be in
- 0:14Speaker 1: the forties today, fifties later this week in Alaska. Remember
- 0:21Speaker 1: the Remember a couple weeks ago we had all that
- 0:22Speaker 1: snow on a Friday. Remember Bridgeport seven inches long, Island
- 0:28Speaker 1: seven inches. It was harm seven inches through this weather Alaska.
- 0:34Speaker 1: This is just the past couple of days. Seven feet
- 0:37Speaker 1: of snow, seven feet of snow. You know here, if
- 0:41Speaker 1: you get an inch, there's already a school closings immediately Alaska.
- 0:44Speaker 1: You got to get to about ten feet before they
- 0:46Speaker 1: close the schools there. So we'll get to Venezuela, we'll
- 0:49Speaker 1: get to Greenland, we'll get to Tim Waltz, we'll get
- 0:52Speaker 1: to CBS News. They're getting a lot of flat. They've
- 0:54Speaker 1: been cleaning up the evening News, trying to make it
- 0:57Speaker 1: less corrupt, and they're getting a lot of fla. Hey,
- 1:00Speaker 1: we'll get to that crazy George Conway who's running for
- 1:03Speaker 1: Congress we'll get to mom. Donnie Hey. Speaking of getting
- 1:06Speaker 1: a lot of flack, this Hilton story did not get
- 1:09Speaker 1: a lot of coverage. But you know, there's Hilton is
- 1:12Speaker 1: a great hotel chain. You got Hilton hotels all over
- 1:15Speaker 1: the place, and there's one in the Minnesota where you know,
- 1:20Speaker 1: ICE when they go into these cities, you don't realize
- 1:23Speaker 1: all the logistics that are required. And I forget arresting
- 1:25Speaker 1: the criminals, the criminal illegals, just the logistics of getting
- 1:31Speaker 1: them all there. If you want to send one hundred
- 1:33Speaker 1: ICE agents there, you got to move them there. All
- 1:36Speaker 1: their equipment, everything, their vehicles, everything has to be moved there.
- 1:40Speaker 1: And then you got to find a hotel for them
- 1:41Speaker 1: to stay in. So in every city they have to
- 1:44Speaker 1: book one hundred hotel rooms. Although well, government likes to
- 1:48Speaker 1: waste money. But although it might be you know, they
- 1:51Speaker 1: double up, so it's fifty hotel rooms, two in a room, whatever.
- 1:55Speaker 1: But in Minneapolis they used here it is again in Minneapolis,
- 2:00Speaker 1: they used a Hilton hotel to have the ICE agents stay, well,
- 2:05Speaker 1: the local Hilton hotel employees. You know, it's a Minnesota
- 2:10Speaker 1: and they were crazy left wing, childish democrats, woke democrats,
- 2:15Speaker 1: so they found out these were Ice people coming to
- 2:17Speaker 1: stay in the hotel, so they canceled the reservation and
- 2:21Speaker 1: informed Ice that they were not welcome to stay in
- 2:23Speaker 1: this Hilton hotel. Well, you can't do that, of course,
- 2:29Speaker 1: that's ridiculous. Now, it's not the fault of Hilton the corporation.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It's these employees in this local hotel, and it turns
- 2:38Speaker 1: out it's not owned by Hilton. You know, many of
- 2:40Speaker 1: these hotels are owned and built by Hilton, but a
- 2:43Speaker 1: lot of these hotels you stay in were just built
- 2:45Speaker 1: by the local guy who built a hotel and then
- 2:48Speaker 1: he makes a deal with Hilton to come in and
- 2:50Speaker 1: run it and put their name on it. It's a
- 2:52Speaker 1: franchise you can buy, so you can build yourself a
- 2:55Speaker 1: beautiful hotel and then you get Marriott to be the
- 2:59Speaker 1: name on it and run it. You have to make
- 3:01Speaker 1: a partnership franchise agreement with them. In this case, it
- 3:04Speaker 1: was Hilton. So Hilton looked into this and they immediately
- 3:08Speaker 1: withdrew the franchise. They fired this local owner and hotel.
- 3:11Speaker 1: They took their name off the hotel. They will have
- 3:14Speaker 1: nothing to do with this hotel anymore. It's against their
- 3:16Speaker 1: policy to discriminate against people because of their race, or
- 3:20Speaker 1: because you don't like the way they look, or you
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't like their politics. You can't discriminate and refuse to
- 3:26Speaker 1: give them a room. So Hilton has withdrawn the franchise.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They will have nothing to do with Hotel anymore. So now,
- 3:32Speaker 1: of course, the left wing cooks are all going after Hilton,
- 3:36Speaker 1: denouncing Hilton, writing about Hilton. Here's one of these left
- 3:39Speaker 1: wing cooks. Hilton was trying to protect people from government
- 3:44Speaker 1: thugs who separate people from their families. They separate families.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Well.
- 3:49Speaker 1: First of all, every law enforcement agency in the world
- 3:54Speaker 1: separates families. The New York City police separate families. The
- 3:58Speaker 1: Minneapolis police separate whenever anybody's arrested. If they arrest a woman,
- 4:02Speaker 1: say a mother, and they arrest her and have to
- 4:06Speaker 1: arrest her, take her in handcuff her, take her to jail.
- 4:08Speaker 1: That you can't bring your kids with you. You're separated.
- 4:10Speaker 1: The kids have to stay with a relative or something,
- 4:13Speaker 1: or if there's nobody, they go into child services. But
- 4:17Speaker 1: every law enforcement agency separates families. Every arrest, families are separated.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So Hilton getting a lot of flack. Now, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: who else is getting a lot of flax. CBS News
- 4:28Speaker 1: because the new woman in charge, Barry Weiss, decided to
- 4:33Speaker 1: clean up the corruption over there and try to make
- 4:36Speaker 1: it a little more fair and balanced. So normally you
- 4:39Speaker 1: watch the CBS Evening News, all they do is denounce
- 4:42Speaker 1: the President, denounce the administration, call them all kinds of names.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Whatever they do, it's awful. So the new CBS News
- 4:50Speaker 1: under Berry Weiss, they put in a new anchor. This
- 4:52Speaker 1: guy's pretty good. It's off to a rough, rocky start,
- 4:55Speaker 1: but he's pretty good. He'll he'll slowly, you know, he
- 4:58Speaker 1: actually get some pretty good ank. This David Muher, you know,
- 5:02Speaker 1: might be a little slanted, but he's a sharp look
- 5:05Speaker 1: and it's a great newscast. The ABC Evening News and
- 5:08Speaker 1: the new NBC News anchor. I can't remember his name,
- 5:11Speaker 1: Tom Yamas. That's his name, Tom Yamas. He's actually I
- 5:15Speaker 1: like Lester Holdy was a nice guy. Totally corrupt on
- 5:17Speaker 1: the air, totally biased, but he's a nice guy. This
- 5:20Speaker 1: guy's sharper, better, quicker, and the same thing with CBS.
- 5:23Speaker 1: This guy's pretty good. But they've decided to make the
- 5:27Speaker 1: newscast fair. So every night they'll go after the Trump
- 5:30Speaker 1: administration a little with the language because it's still being
- 5:33Speaker 1: written by CBS newswriters. But they'll be fair, they'll put
- 5:36Speaker 1: the other side. On the first night of this new guy,
- 5:40Speaker 1: he gave Pete Hegxith three segments on the New three
- 5:43Speaker 1: segments on the Evening News to respond. And then it
- 5:47Speaker 1: was Marco Rubio one night. They brought him on live
- 5:49Speaker 1: and whatever they said bad about Trump, they put on Rubio,
- 5:52Speaker 1: let him respond. And then Christy Nome, whatever the attack was,
- 5:55Speaker 1: they then put went to her, put her on live
- 5:58Speaker 1: on the news and let her respond. That's the fair
- 6:01Speaker 1: thing to do, so you're supposed to do so. CBS
- 6:04Speaker 1: News getting all kinds of flak from left wing critics
- 6:06Speaker 1: now attacking them like crazy. Here's one the call says it.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Now it's become Fox News light. They're shilling for the administration,
- 6:16Speaker 1: just giving the other the other side of chance to respond.
- 6:19Speaker 1: That's shilling for the administration. So uh, changes are happening.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And remember this is only the first year of Donald Trump.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Give them two three years and we'll see what happens. Now,
- 6:32Speaker 1: all this Greenland talk, you know, I feel bad for
- 6:34Speaker 1: the Democrats. This is costing them a fortune. You know,
- 6:37Speaker 1: they all had to go out and buy Ukrainian flags
- 6:40Speaker 1: to wave around. And then all the trouble in Israel
- 6:44Speaker 1: they had and they had to go out and you know,
- 6:46Speaker 1: get rid of the flags. They had to go out
- 6:47Speaker 1: and buy a Hamas flags and Palestinian flags to wave around.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I mean every second they got to buy a new flat.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Then ice they had, all these liberals had to go
- 6:56Speaker 1: buy Mexican flags, and now they all got to go
- 7:00Speaker 1: buy Venezuelan flags. You know, they're spending a fortune on flags.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Had I known this was going to happen, I would
- 7:05Speaker 1: have bought stock and flag companies a couple of years ago.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But it just you go into any left wing kook
- 7:12Speaker 1: woke democrats home, there's a closet now filled with different flags. Hey,
- 7:16Speaker 1: by the way, a lot of this stuff, these protests
- 7:19Speaker 1: are funded organized. They're not organic or natural. Many of
- 7:24Speaker 1: them paid for by Soros and those other oligarchs. The
- 7:28Speaker 1: Democrat oligarchs like Soros fund them. Nicole what's his name,
- 7:32Speaker 1: Reid Hoffman. Reid Hoffman. So the president and the administration
- 7:38Speaker 1: for they've hinted at this, but for the first time
- 7:40Speaker 1: ever they said they're looking at going after them harmit.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Dillon and others in the Department of Justice now talking
- 7:46Speaker 1: about conspiracy charges against them. When you see what looks
- 7:50Speaker 1: supposed to be just an organic protest that happened all
- 7:53Speaker 1: of a sudden over Venezuela, they all two hundred of them,
- 7:59Speaker 1: have all the same equipment. They have the same exact
- 8:01Speaker 1: signs from the same printer, and they're real high quality,
- 8:05Speaker 1: glossy printed signs, really expensive. Well, so this is all
- 8:09Speaker 1: being funded by these Soros type zillionaires. But now they're
- 8:12Speaker 1: talking about rico charges, conspiracy charges funding protests, so finally
- 8:19Speaker 1: something may be done about that. So the Venezuela talk.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Now here's the other thing. The President talking about Greenland
- 8:25Speaker 1: taking over Greenland, hinting at the military go in there
- 8:28Speaker 1: and sees Greenland. He's not going to do that. It's
- 8:31Speaker 1: not going to be the military. First of all, the
- 8:35Speaker 1: military seizing Greenland. A boy Scout troop could take over
- 8:39Speaker 1: Greenland in about half an hour. I mean, it would
- 8:41Speaker 1: take twenty minutes to seize Greenland. So what he wants
- 8:44Speaker 1: is to buy it from Denmark. Denmark owns Greenland. And
- 8:48Speaker 1: there was a time a while back where they were
- 8:51Speaker 1: actually kind of interested in talking about it because the
- 8:54Speaker 1: price was going to be billions of dollars for Greenland
- 8:57Speaker 1: and they needed the money. Denmark's economy in trouble, a big, huge, huge,
- 9:03Speaker 1: huge deficit and debt. Well, one of the things that
- 9:06Speaker 1: saved them was that ozempic because apparently some of the
- 9:09Speaker 1: original whatever it is from ozempic made in Greenland in Denmark,
- 9:15Speaker 1: and they've made a fortune off it, which made up
- 9:17Speaker 1: a lot of their deficit. But US wants Greenland, they'd
- 9:22Speaker 1: like to buy it. They'd like to work out an
- 9:23Speaker 1: agreement to buy it and pay for it and then
- 9:25Speaker 1: own it. But that's the reason for all this invasion
- 9:28Speaker 1: military to it's just negotiating, just negotiating. There's no chance
- 9:33Speaker 1: of actually invading Greenland or taking it over. But it's
- 9:37Speaker 1: a very valuable thing for the US. It's very important,
- 9:40Speaker 1: crucial military base for US, crucial as far as shipping lanes.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It has all kinds of defense strategic reasons why we
- 9:48Speaker 1: need to have Greenland. Also, it's filled with valuable minerals
- 9:52Speaker 1: and stuff. So it's a win win to take Greenland.
- 9:55Speaker 1: And Denmark really doesn't need it for any defense purposes
- 9:58Speaker 1: or strategic purposes or military base purposes, and then there's
- 10:02Speaker 1: always the fear for all those same reasons that the
- 10:05Speaker 1: Russia or somebody else could take it over President Trump.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You know, remember Joe Biden, remember him, And maybe once
- 10:13Speaker 1: a year he tried to do a press conference and
- 10:16Speaker 1: they'd call on three people where they were already picked beforehand,
- 10:20Speaker 1: questions and answers written out right in front of Joe.
- 10:23Speaker 1: And they had to put a big card with the
- 10:27Speaker 1: reporter's name so Joe could call on him, and the
- 10:29Speaker 1: reporter's picture so he'd recognize them. And they used a
- 10:32Speaker 1: real big font you know, so Joe could see it.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Those are the old days. Now it's President Trump every
- 10:38Speaker 1: two seconds of press conference, anytime he's walking in the hall,
- 10:40Speaker 1: anytime the reporter's there, he'll answer questions, he'll talk to
- 10:45Speaker 1: them on They all have a cell number. They can
- 10:47Speaker 1: call him anytime. Hundreds and hundreds of these reporters have
- 10:50Speaker 1: a cell number. Even this crazy Joe Scarborough, right after
- 10:54Speaker 1: Venezuela or the Greenland stuff started, he said he called
- 10:57Speaker 1: the President Trump and talked to him for twenty minutes Greenland.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I mean, that's how open he is. He'll talk to
- 11:04Speaker 1: Joe Scarborough on the phone for twenty minutes. But wherever
- 11:07Speaker 1: he is, you immediately can talk to him. He'll answer questions.
- 11:11Speaker 1: You see, even when he's on the plane, he'll come
- 11:13Speaker 1: out of the private cabin and answer questions for a
- 11:15Speaker 1: half hours. So anyway, the whole thing is it's a
- 11:19Speaker 1: winning situation in Venezuela. And he talked about that, you
- 11:23Speaker 1: got to win the midterms. Oh, okay, the midterms. Now
- 11:26Speaker 1: this is the other thing. How does this affect the midterms? Well,
- 11:31Speaker 1: gas prices will come down even more. They've come down dramatically. Hey,
- 11:35Speaker 1: By the way, it's another side issue. Gas has come
- 11:38Speaker 1: down to two fifty a gallon, two seventy five a gallon.
- 11:41Speaker 1: It was four dollars under Joe bidden It's now two
- 11:43Speaker 1: fifty everywhere except New York, and except California. It's two
- 11:50Speaker 1: fifty everywhere you go in the country. Two seventy five.
- 11:53Speaker 1: In New York it's still four dollars, four to fifty.
- 11:55Speaker 1: California it's five. Nobody is you have totally corrupt meat.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Otherwise they'd be all over these two governors at demanding
- 12:03Speaker 1: to know why they haven't let the gas prices come down.
- 12:05Speaker 1: The reason hasn't come down here, the state will just
- 12:09Speaker 1: add the taxes to make up for it and keep it.
- 12:12Speaker 1: So gas prices are way down all over America with Venezuela.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Now we're going to get fifty million gallons immediately of
- 12:20Speaker 1: their oil. That'll bring down prices even more. A lot
- 12:24Speaker 1: of the drilling that started is starting to kick in.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So also, you're going to have the tax cuts take
- 12:29Speaker 1: effect now finally, since New Year's Day, they're now in effect.
- 12:33Speaker 1: People to get more money in their paychecks. So that's
- 12:35Speaker 1: going to help Republicans in the midterm, and that's important.
- 12:39Speaker 3: You got to win the midterms because if we don't
- 12:41Speaker 3: win the midterms, it's just going to be I mean,
- 12:46Speaker 3: they'll find a reason to impeach me.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Yeah, there'll be an impeachment a week. But on the
- 12:51Speaker 1: other hand, when they do their remember first term was
- 12:54Speaker 1: an impeachment once every year, every spring. This will be
- 12:57Speaker 1: every month, and then they'll totally devalue the whole idea
- 13:00Speaker 1: of impeachment will mean nothing after a while. Now, the
- 13:02Speaker 1: only time bomb there is a healthcare costs. Obamacare turns
- 13:07Speaker 1: out to be totally unworkable. In fact, they called it
- 13:11Speaker 1: the Affordable Care Act. All it did was drive prices
- 13:13Speaker 1: up like crazy, which was to be expected. Anytime you
- 13:17Speaker 1: take anything out of the private sector and have the
- 13:19Speaker 1: government run it, it gets much more expensive. And it
- 13:22Speaker 1: got so out of control that they had to start
- 13:24Speaker 1: giving subsidies to pay for it. It's the Affordable Care Act,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but it's so unaffordable you have to have a government
- 13:31Speaker 1: subsidy to be able to afford it. So that expired.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Now they're going to have possible you know, one of
- 13:37Speaker 1: those shutdown talk things again at the end of the month.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Democrats want to just keep the subsidy going forever, just
- 13:47Speaker 1: subsidize it. President Trump, being a logical businessman types as well,
- 13:51Speaker 1: why don't we fix it so it actually is affordable,
- 13:54Speaker 1: privatize a lot of it, make it more efficient, get
- 13:58Speaker 1: all the crazy, you know, crazy corruption and complication out
- 14:03Speaker 1: of it, and make it simple. And I mean, that's
- 14:06Speaker 1: the logical thing to do. But Democrats don't want that.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So healthcare will be crucial in the midterms. We could
- 14:11Speaker 1: have had healthcare good healthcare.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Obamacare is bad and the people understand it's bad, and
- 14:16Speaker 3: the premiums are horrible. But one thing I've learned, I've
- 14:20Speaker 3: learned a lot about healthcare. I found healthcare so sort
- 14:23Speaker 3: of like, not of tremendous interest, but it was very important.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Yeah, so again all day long. You can talk to him.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Reporters can talk to him anytime, ask him anything. Now
- 14:36Speaker 1: he's a more important issue. You know how he does
- 14:37Speaker 1: that dance and aver there's music, he starts dancing. So
- 14:42Speaker 1: he was asked about that. This is interesting. Now, his wife,
- 14:45Speaker 1: Malania is a very dignified, very elegant woman, and there
- 14:48Speaker 1: he is dancing, and he was asked about it.
- 14:51Speaker 3: My wife hates when I do this, she said. You know,
- 14:55Speaker 3: she's a very classy person. Right, she said, it's so presidential,
- 15:02Speaker 3: he said, but I did become president somebody she hates
- 15:05Speaker 3: when I dance. I said, everybody wants darling. It's not presidential.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Well, okay, that's true, but ninety percent of what he
- 15:15Speaker 1: does isn't presidential. He breaks all the rules and he
- 15:19Speaker 1: knows how to do it and be successful at it.
- 15:21Speaker 1: But I can understand her saying that.
- 15:23Speaker 3: She said, could you imagine after you are dancing? She
- 15:27Speaker 3: said that to me, and I said, there's a long
- 15:32Speaker 3: history that perhaps she doesn't know. Because he was an
- 15:38Speaker 3: elegant fellow, even as a Democrat.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Right, yeah, but again, I've known Donald Trump, I don't know,
- 15:46Speaker 1: thirty five years and the decades before he was president.
- 15:50Speaker 1: It was all the same thing as a top big
- 15:53Speaker 1: business guy in New York real estate. Everybody in that
- 15:56Speaker 1: world was why does he have to be Why does
- 15:58Speaker 1: he have to do that? Why does he have to
- 15:59Speaker 1: behave like it? You know how to back? Doesn't he know?
- 16:01Speaker 1: So this has been gone on his whole life. He's
- 16:03Speaker 1: perfected this system of breaking all the rules. His instincts
- 16:07Speaker 1: are great. He makes it work. Hey, coming up, we'll
- 16:09Speaker 1: get to George Conway, this crazy nutjob Democrat wants to
- 16:14Speaker 1: run for Congress here in New York. We'll get to
- 16:16Speaker 1: that and more. Coming up, we'll take some calls. Next
- 16:20Speaker 1: eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 16:23Speaker 1: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Go to Adam in New Jersey. Adam, how you doing? Adam?
- 16:34Speaker 4: Hello?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Yeah? We did wake you did? We?
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yes?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:37Speaker 5: No?
- 16:38Speaker 6: No, no, no no no how are you?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Let me check? Not bad anytime? Just jump in whenever
- 16:44Speaker 1: you feel like it.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Okay, run am I on there ready or.
- 16:49Speaker 1: It sounds like around something, but.
- 16:53Speaker 6: All right, So this is Mark.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Let me see Mark. Listen.
- 16:56Speaker 6: I'm glad you're there. But I heard that China and
- 17:01Speaker 6: Russia have already pay Venezuela and oil right for the
- 17:05Speaker 6: fields for oil rights in the fields of Venezuela. Did
- 17:10Speaker 6: they get their money back or what's your thoughts on that?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Well, I don't think it's like Amazon where you can
- 17:15Speaker 1: just send it back and get the refined.
- 17:18Speaker 6: No.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Well, there's another reason we went into Venezuela. You have
- 17:20Speaker 1: all sorts of Russia, China, Iran, Cuba, everybody in there
- 17:26Speaker 1: doing god knows what it was like the axis of
- 17:29Speaker 1: evil all over again. That's another reason to break all
- 17:31Speaker 1: that up. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how
- 17:34Speaker 1: you doing.
- 17:35Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Yes, Mike.
- 17:37Speaker 7: The Democrats are very good at controlling the language. So
- 17:41Speaker 7: there's always the equal such and such, you know, the
- 17:44Speaker 7: Act and the fair so and so law. And affordability
- 17:48Speaker 7: is the current one. And the funny thing is, you
- 17:50Speaker 7: know what's not as affordable as it once was? Everything?
- 17:53Speaker 7: I mean, you know, you watched Andy Grifford Show, and
- 17:56Speaker 7: you know a haircut was fifty cents last time I
- 17:58Speaker 7: went to get a haircut down here far seventeen dollars
- 18:01Speaker 7: and it's a number two once around the head. You know,
- 18:03Speaker 7: it's like, you know, not even any.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's true of old TV. You know, you
- 18:07Speaker 1: watch a TV show from nineteen sixty and the guy says,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I'll give you a five hundred dollars. You know, you
- 18:12Speaker 1: don't realize that's like ten thousand today. So but no,
- 18:16Speaker 1: that's a good point. Yeah, this affordability is an interesting thing. Obviously,
- 18:20Speaker 1: it's always about the economy. You remember when Bill Clinton
- 18:23Speaker 1: ran and carvill famously said, it's the economy, stupid, It's
- 18:27Speaker 1: always the economy. But Democrats last year did extensive testing
- 18:33Speaker 1: with focus groups, seriously, and they came on the word
- 18:37Speaker 1: affordability in the focus groups and it tested through the roof.
- 18:42Speaker 1: So they zero it in on that word affordability, affordability.
- 18:46Speaker 1: And it's not that they're so good at messaging. It's
- 18:48Speaker 1: just the corruption where the every inch of media, anchors, newspaper,
- 18:53Speaker 1: they're all in cahoots with them. And if they drill
- 18:57Speaker 1: it into your head over and over and over and
- 19:00Speaker 1: you start to believe it, affordability crisis. If that's all
- 19:02Speaker 1: you see day and night, everywhere you turn, affordability crisis.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You'll start to think there's an affordability crisis. You know,
- 19:09Speaker 1: they did that with Curtis in the race.
- 19:12Speaker 5: Uh.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You know, Curtis had as good a chance as Mam
- 19:14Speaker 1: Donnie in the beginning. I mean, if you look at
- 19:16Speaker 1: these two guys on paper, Mam Donnie never had a
- 19:19Speaker 1: job twelve years old. I mean, on paper, this guy
- 19:22Speaker 1: has no chance. But they kept doing that over and over.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Twenty four to seven. All you heard was Curtis can't win.
- 19:27Speaker 1: CURTI Yeah, well Curtis is great, but he can't win.
- 19:29Speaker 1: He can't win, he can't win. Well, after a while
- 19:31Speaker 1: people start to believe this. Let's go to uh, let's
- 19:34Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 19:36Speaker 8: I'm doing good, Mark, Mark. Every time I hear his
- 19:39Speaker 8: word affordability, I'm going to say, the government is the first,
- 19:45Speaker 8: the first person that causes uh unaffordability in the City
- 19:51Speaker 8: of New York. Like this latest bonehead idea that got
- 19:55Speaker 8: the city Council a couple of months ago pass this law.
- 20:00Speaker 8: It wasn't veto proof. They passed this law that if
- 20:04Speaker 8: you're going to sell you if you have a private
- 20:06Speaker 8: building and you're gonna sell it, you have to offer
- 20:09Speaker 8: it to one of sixteen nonprofit agencies that the city's
- 20:14Speaker 8: gonna tell you. You have to offer it to them first,
- 20:18Speaker 8: and if den if they don't want it, you could
- 20:21Speaker 8: sell it privately. And even then, if you're in before
- 20:25Speaker 8: you go into contract, you have to offer it to
- 20:28Speaker 8: these sixteen probably not nonprofit communist agencies. Well, I spoke
- 20:35Speaker 8: actually to a lawyer about this, and this is totally unconstitutional.
- 20:40Speaker 8: The problem is is the New York City courts are
- 20:43Speaker 8: all rigged with these left wing nut jobs. So it's
- 20:47Speaker 8: gonna that's.
- 20:47Speaker 1: What happened to Donald Trump. And let me ask you
- 20:49Speaker 1: a question. You're a smart guy. You could be in
- 20:51Speaker 1: any business you want. Why would anybody be a owner
- 20:53Speaker 1: of an apartment building or a landlord? It's got to
- 20:56Speaker 1: be the most difficult, troubled, the kind of way, just
- 21:00Speaker 1: NonStop problems, isn't it?
- 21:01Speaker 9: Mark?
- 21:02Speaker 8: These days? It is especially Mandami the other day appointed
- 21:06Speaker 8: this so called tenants rights advocate. Her name is CEA Weaver,
- 21:11Speaker 8: and she actually went on the air in an interview
- 21:14Speaker 8: and says, we have to rethink private property rights.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, no, I'll give me a better one. Let
- 21:21Speaker 1: me see here's an actual quote for her home ownership
- 21:25Speaker 1: is a weapon of white supremacy exactly.
- 21:28Speaker 8: And then she goes on to say that we're going
- 21:32Speaker 8: to attack white neighborhoods more than minority neighborhood so forth
- 21:38Speaker 8: and so on. I actually spoke to a lawyer about
- 21:42Speaker 8: this and he did tell me this is totally unconsciousness.
- 21:46Speaker 1: It is, but you know, it's New York. But we
- 21:49Speaker 1: got to go for the news with great call. We'll
- 21:50Speaker 1: get back to that woman and some of her crazy
- 21:53Speaker 1: Mondannie just put her in charge of housing. Well, we'll
- 21:55Speaker 1: get to her in the next hour. But you know,
- 21:57Speaker 1: we bring you the smartest people on earth will do
- 21:59Speaker 1: that in the moment. Steve Forbes will be with us.
- 22:03Speaker 1: He can explain a lot of this stuff in a
- 22:05Speaker 1: very rational way with the Steve Forbes next on seven
- 22:08Speaker 1: to ten wo r Steve Forbes, of course, the chairman,
- 22:12Speaker 1: editor in chief Forbes Media. Also, you know he's the
- 22:14Speaker 1: best selling author. You should get his latest book, Inflation.
- 22:18Speaker 1: There is no better book on the subject. Just go
- 22:20Speaker 1: to Amazon. You can get it there. Inflation, excellent book.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Steve Forbes, How are you.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Doing fine?
- 22:27Speaker 1: Thanks?
- 22:27Speaker 2: How are you in this new year? Lots happening. Seems
- 22:30Speaker 2: like the year's half over already with everything that's going on.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, speaking of hey, we're talking about affordability. Democrats found
- 22:37Speaker 1: that word through focus groups, affordability. But it has improved
- 22:42Speaker 1: a lot in the last year, hasn't it.
- 22:46Speaker 2: The real progress is being made. One of the things
- 22:48Speaker 2: I think the Trump President Trump and his team underestimated
- 22:52Speaker 2: was how big of a mess they were actually inherited
- 22:55Speaker 2: from the Biden administration. But when you go down the
- 22:59Speaker 2: list of what they've done and what I hope they're
- 23:01Speaker 2: going to be doing this year, it's impressive. One of
- 23:04Speaker 2: the most boring subjects in the world, of course, is regulation.
- 23:08Speaker 2: It's not the kind of thing that has people really aroused,
- 23:11Speaker 2: but it's been a huge drain, huge burden on American
- 23:14Speaker 2: manufacturing and what they've done and things like with evs.
- 23:18Speaker 2: You know, if they make these regulations permanent through legislation,
- 23:23Speaker 2: the auto industry is going to have a revival and
- 23:25Speaker 2: renaissance that we haven't seen since the nineteen fifties and
- 23:28Speaker 2: nineteen sixties in terms of new designs and new ways
- 23:31Speaker 2: of doing things instead of everything looking like a jelly
- 23:34Speaker 2: bean because of government regulations. So they're doing really really
- 23:38Speaker 2: important things. Hundreds of billions of dollars are going to
- 23:41Speaker 2: be saved through a deregulation. The tax cut is a
- 23:44Speaker 2: savior of preserving the twenty seventeen tax cuts, but also
- 23:48Speaker 2: the big write offs for investment in manufacturing and businesses
- 23:52Speaker 2: today is going to kick in. And one of the
- 23:54Speaker 2: things they're talking about, which I hope they'll do Mark,
- 23:57Speaker 2: is have a second reconciliation bill and cut personal income
- 24:00Speaker 2: tax rates, cut the corporate rate, which President Trump wanted
- 24:03Speaker 2: to do from twenty one to fifteen percent, cut the
- 24:06Speaker 2: capital gains, which that should be a no brainer. It's
- 24:09Speaker 2: good for investment but also instantly raises revenue. So some
- 24:14Speaker 2: things are moving in the right way, and a big
- 24:16Speaker 2: battle coming up again. Another boring subject monetary policy is
- 24:20Speaker 2: the Federal Reserve. Getting somebody in there who will fundamentally
- 24:23Speaker 2: re rechange, change the way the Federal Reserve operates on.
- 24:28Speaker 2: The FED operates on the assumption the prosperity causes inflation.
- 24:32Speaker 2: They have an allergy to a vigorous, growing economy, and
- 24:36Speaker 2: that's got to be changed because that's been a dead
- 24:38Speaker 2: weight for decades.
- 24:40Speaker 1: But how crucial is the Fed nowadays you know, you
- 24:43Speaker 1: can't rate cut your way to prosperity, can you.
- 24:47Speaker 2: No, But what you can do is have rates actually
- 24:50Speaker 2: set by the marketplace. What the FED is doing now
- 24:52Speaker 2: is a form of rent control. We know what that's
- 24:55Speaker 2: done in New York, and we'll do even more. But
- 24:58Speaker 2: you know, they used to talk about renting the money.
- 25:00Speaker 2: So when you're borrowing the money, you're renting it, and
- 25:03Speaker 2: the Federal Reserve is setting the rental rates instead of
- 25:05Speaker 2: letting the market do it. So the key thing is
- 25:08Speaker 2: not to have the FED come up the financial markets,
- 25:11Speaker 2: which is done with their artificial coming around with interest rates,
- 25:15Speaker 2: and go for a stable dollar. That's why I hope
- 25:17Speaker 2: Treasury Secretary Besson and President Trump say they want a strong,
- 25:21Speaker 2: stable dollar. They want the dollar to remain a reserve
- 25:24Speaker 2: currency where you have to have a stable and trustworthy
- 25:28Speaker 2: So I hope they get the FED in the right direction.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And I'll make a prediction even though I'm probably wrong,
- 25:33Speaker 2: but you never make money going with the crowd. In
- 25:36Speaker 2: terms of the head of the FED, I think a
- 25:38Speaker 2: good thing would be to send Scott Besson over to
- 25:41Speaker 2: the FED.
- 25:41Speaker 1: He's got the.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Strength and knows what needs to be done and have
- 25:44Speaker 2: Kevin Hassett, I'll go to the Treasury Department.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Oh well, listen, you know more about this than I.
- 25:51Speaker 1: But Scott Besson's a great Treasury secretary and there's oh
- 25:55Speaker 1: yes he is. YEA other people could be great FED chairman.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Look who I'm talking to, Warp, You'd be perfect for it,
- 26:01Speaker 1: but you.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Got I'm an agitator now.
- 26:06Speaker 1: But is it your top guy? If it's Scott Besston,
- 26:10Speaker 1: wouldn't need be more valuable as a Treasury secretary than
- 26:13Speaker 1: a FED chairman.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I think he would be. Actually, well, the reason I
- 26:19Speaker 2: would like him at the FED is that one, he's
- 26:22Speaker 2: got a fixed term, and he would not. I think
- 26:25Speaker 2: he's because of his background in finance and the success
- 26:29Speaker 2: in finance. There's no way they can capture him, no
- 26:32Speaker 2: way they can buffalo him the way they did Jerome Powell.
- 26:37Speaker 2: And I think he would.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Also know how to ask the right questions.
- 26:41Speaker 2: That's key, and have the and not be intimidated by PhDs.
- 26:46Speaker 2: They're over three hundred there now they should be uber drivers,
- 26:49Speaker 2: but they're they're at the FED right now mucking things up,
- 26:54Speaker 2: and and so I think Besson would have the strength
- 26:57Speaker 2: to really turn things over We've already seen what Lee's
- 27:01Speaker 2: Eldon's done at the EPA in terms of deregulation, and
- 27:07Speaker 2: the tread of the Energy team with this administration's phenomenal, right,
- 27:12Speaker 2: and Bergham's that that's going to pay real dividends and
- 27:16Speaker 2: already is at the pump. And by the way, by
- 27:20Speaker 2: the way, the lower price of gas line somehow doesn't
- 27:23Speaker 2: make the headlines the way it does when the Democrats
- 27:26Speaker 2: are in and prices are going up and gets ignored.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Prices are going down and the media ignores it. But
- 27:34Speaker 2: with winner right with us, boy, people want those low rates,
- 27:39Speaker 2: you know.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Part of the problem though I don't know how they
- 27:41Speaker 1: managed to do it, but as the price has dropped
- 27:43Speaker 1: a lot on gas here in New York and in California,
- 27:46Speaker 1: they kept the price way up there at four dollars
- 27:48Speaker 1: a gallon, which is where most of the reporters in
- 27:50Speaker 1: the media live, so they haven't felt the effect yet.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. And but you know, since
- 27:59Speaker 2: they pride themselves and being a great journalist, they should
- 28:02Speaker 2: ask the question why and the answer is thing called tax.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Steve Forth, let me ask you about Venezuela. It was
- 28:12Speaker 1: a booming economy for many years, and then Chavez and
- 28:16Speaker 1: Maduro come in with their socialism and screw it up.
- 28:19Speaker 1: What's the potential for the economy in Venezuela with the
- 28:22Speaker 1: right leader.
- 28:25Speaker 2: The potential is phenomenal. We all know about their oil reserves,
- 28:29Speaker 2: and it will take time to get the fields back up.
- 28:31Speaker 2: They've been erecked and that takes time. But one of
- 28:34Speaker 2: the things I hope we do before we have a
- 28:37Speaker 2: new democratic elected government. There is a couple of things.
- 28:42Speaker 2: One is keep out the International Monetary Fund the IMF.
- 28:46Speaker 2: They always recommend higher taxes and currency devaluations with triggers inflation.
- 28:51Speaker 2: So keep out the IMF and know what they should
- 28:54Speaker 2: do do in Venezuela is since nobody pays attention to
- 28:57Speaker 2: their bullovar currency anymore toilet paper, is it dollarize it?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Malay should have done that in Argentina, the President of Argentina.
- 29:07Speaker 2: But dollarize the Venezuelan economy. They're always already using dollars
- 29:11Speaker 2: informally anyway, so make it formal and then put in
- 29:15Speaker 2: a low rate tax system and by golly, you'd see
- 29:18Speaker 2: you've got millions of people who left Venezuela. They would
- 29:22Speaker 2: bring capital back you'd see domestic capital being created again.
- 29:26Speaker 2: And there you said, they have an entrepreneurial spirit, and
- 29:30Speaker 2: you could see that economy not revived just because of oil,
- 29:33Speaker 2: but doing other things. And you have a success in Venezuela.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You've got a new president of Chile to get that
- 29:39Speaker 2: country back on track. Hopefully Malay gets it right with
- 29:43Speaker 2: the currency. In Argentina. You have those three countries booming.
- 29:46Speaker 2: By golly, that changes everything, not just in Latin America,
- 29:50Speaker 2: but as a model for other countries around the world.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Hey, Steve Forbes, what's your outlook forecast for New Jersey
- 29:57Speaker 1: with another crazy Democrat governor? Oh man, You.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Know, whenever you talk, whenever you talk to a financial advisor,
- 30:10Speaker 2: the first thing they say to me, they're more polite
- 30:14Speaker 2: than I'm about to be to myself.
- 30:16Speaker 1: You idiot.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Why he's saying in the state of New Jersey, that's
- 30:20Speaker 2: one of the most misgoverned states in the Union. And
- 30:22Speaker 2: the sad thing is years ago, Larry Cudlow and I
- 30:26Speaker 2: did a tax program for Christy Whitman when she became governor,
- 30:30Speaker 2: and we helped get through big cuts in the state
- 30:33Speaker 2: income tax rate. And one of the things we learned
- 30:35Speaker 2: back then was New Jersey was once the most prosperous
- 30:39Speaker 2: state in the country, grew faster than the rest of
- 30:41Speaker 2: the country, recovered faster than the rest of the country,
- 30:45Speaker 2: and high taxes and regulation killed what had been a
- 30:49Speaker 2: booming economy, always doing better than the national average. And
- 30:53Speaker 2: that can be brought back again. That's why the pharmaceutical
- 30:56Speaker 2: industry is based in New Jersey and other industries, and.
- 31:00Speaker 1: The policy wrecked it.
- 31:02Speaker 2: And that's what is so frustrating as we see real
- 31:06Speaker 2: life examples of before and after. And yet and yet
- 31:12Speaker 2: people continue to talk about the need for re education centers.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Maybe for economics, I don't know, but well, it's sad
- 31:21Speaker 2: because the potential is enormous, but people and capital are
- 31:24Speaker 2: moving elsewhere.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Well I would laugh at you, but we just elected
- 31:28Speaker 1: Kathy Hokele and Mamdani So I'm who am I to
- 31:32Speaker 1: But yes, Steve Forbes great to talk to you. Everybody
- 31:36Speaker 1: should get his book. His latest book is Inflation. No
- 31:39Speaker 1: better book on the subject inflation. Just go to Amazon
- 31:42Speaker 1: and get Steve Forbes's book, read his columns, watch them
- 31:44Speaker 1: on television. Of course, Forbes one of the great media
- 31:48Speaker 1: companies in America, in the world Steve Forbes, thanks for
- 31:51Speaker 1: being with us.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Thank you, and keep up your a great fight, especially
- 31:56Speaker 2: now that we've got a communist running the great New
- 32:00Speaker 2: York Venezuela. Throw it gets loss of communist.
- 32:03Speaker 1: And we gave one. Well. Thanks for reminding us, Steve Forbes,
- 32:07Speaker 1: have a great new year. Thanks for being with us,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you too, Thank you. Mark, take care. Hey, don't forget
- 32:12Speaker 1: Bucking Clay coming up at noon today. They do an
- 32:15Speaker 1: excellent show every day twelve noon. Then you got the
- 32:17Speaker 1: most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity three o'clock.
- 32:21Speaker 1: You got Jesse Kelly at six. And if you heard
- 32:23Speaker 1: the new Jimmy Fayala show every night at nine, it
- 32:26Speaker 1: is excellent on seven to ten. Wor Hey, the awards
- 32:31Speaker 1: show for fans is back. You can celebrate right now.
- 32:34Speaker 1: It's the iHeartRadio Music Awards coming back to Fox March
- 32:38Speaker 1: twenty sixth. But this Thursday morning, Oh that's tomorrow morning.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Tomorrow morning at nine am. You'll find out about the
- 32:45Speaker 1: show and how you can vote for your favorite artists.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Don't miss it tomorrow morning at nine. Mark Simone n
- 32:51Speaker 1: Wy at Twitter or x or whatever you want to
- 32:54Speaker 1: call it. Also follow me on Instagram and all of
- 32:57Speaker 1: that stuff coming up in the next hour. We'll get
- 32:58Speaker 1: to thus lliest guy in the world, Tim Watts. It
- 33:02Speaker 1: will also get to this crazy George Conway. He wants
- 33:05Speaker 1: to be our congressman. Democrats and Trumpeters would like to
- 33:08Speaker 1: make that like a national thing every year, like you know,
- 33:12Speaker 1: nine to eleven where the whole country stops to remember,
- 33:15Speaker 1: or they want to make it like a Pearl Harbor
- 33:17Speaker 1: kind of. It's not going to work those of you
- 33:20Speaker 1: that don't remember January sixth, was that terrible trespassing incident
- 33:24Speaker 1: at the Capitol. I remember. But here's the Democrats are now.
- 33:29Speaker 1: You know all the universities have been corrupted, many of
- 33:32Speaker 1: our high schools. You got all these left wing teachers.
- 33:35Speaker 1: You got all this left wing propaganda being taught in
- 33:39Speaker 1: schools now, and this is why you get people that younger,
- 33:42Speaker 1: people that will vote for Mom. DONI twenty thirty years
- 33:44Speaker 1: of being indoctrinated in these left wing classrooms. Well, now
- 33:49Speaker 1: they want to add January sixth to the history books
- 33:51Speaker 1: and have that taught in every classroom. Now. Of course,
- 33:54Speaker 1: they're not going to teach the whole story as Democrats
- 33:58Speaker 1: do or fake news they'll just give you three or
- 34:02Speaker 1: four pieces of the puzzle and leave out ninety eight
- 34:04Speaker 1: percent of it, so they won't tell you that. President
- 34:08Speaker 1: Trump offered ten thousand troops and urged them to take
- 34:11Speaker 1: the ten thousand troops to guard the capital that day.
- 34:14Speaker 1: It was just another demonstration like the other two hundred
- 34:18Speaker 1: and seventy five that had happened that whole summer in America.
- 34:21Speaker 1: But Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of DC decided not
- 34:26Speaker 1: to accept the offer of the ten thousand troops. They
- 34:29Speaker 1: were told four hundred thousand demonstrators would show up. They
- 34:33Speaker 1: turned down the ten thousand troops. And by the way,
- 34:37Speaker 1: demonstrations of that size were taking place all the time
- 34:39Speaker 1: in Washington when Trump was president. Once remember at the
- 34:43Speaker 1: Lincoln Memorial, and he surrounded it with troops with machine
- 34:46Speaker 1: gun and nobody got near the Lincoln Memorial. The worst
- 34:50Speaker 1: one was when Democratic protesters tried to take the White House,
- 34:54Speaker 1: tried to come over the fence. Remember Trump put out
- 34:57Speaker 1: those tweets if you do come over the fence, you're
- 34:59Speaker 1: going to see them vicious dogs you've ever seen. But
- 35:02Speaker 1: he surrounded the place with troops. There was still a
- 35:04Speaker 1: hell of a battle at the White House fence. Over
- 35:07Speaker 1: two hundred law enforcement ended up in the hospital after that.
- 35:11Speaker 1: But January sixth, it was just another one of those,
- 35:14Speaker 1: not as bad as the one at the White House.
- 35:16Speaker 1: But Nancy Pelosi made the decision that she would try
- 35:20Speaker 1: to guard the building with just the building security guys,
- 35:23Speaker 1: the Capitol Hill Police, which that's basically it is the
- 35:27Speaker 1: security guys at the building instead of actual troops and
- 35:32Speaker 1: Capitol police. They're nice, but they there's only a couple
- 35:36Speaker 1: of hundred of them, and they can't control four hundred
- 35:38Speaker 1: thousand demonstrators, so they'll leave that out of the discussion.
- 35:43Speaker 1: In fact, Nancy Pelosi to this day denies it, although
- 35:46Speaker 1: there's video of her admitting to it that night that
- 35:49Speaker 1: she turned it down and this is all her fault.
- 35:51Speaker 1: But she'll deny it, and they'll teach the fake version
- 35:53Speaker 1: of January sixth, they'll say, they'll just keep using the
- 35:56Speaker 1: word insurrection. It was an insurrection. Meantime, they arrested twelve
- 36:00Speaker 1: hundred of those demonstrators, not a single one has been
- 36:03Speaker 1: charged with insurrection. And remember they charged these guys with
- 36:07Speaker 1: everything they could hit him with. Each one got hit
- 36:09Speaker 1: with twelve charges nineteen charges twenty anything they could charge
- 36:12Speaker 1: him with, and nobody got charged with insurrection. But we'll
- 36:17Speaker 1: see see what happens if they can stop that from
- 36:20Speaker 1: going into the history books. Hey, TV ratings for the
- 36:24Speaker 1: year twenty twenty five, you know the New Year's Eve
- 36:27Speaker 1: show on ABC, which was Dick Clark's rocking New Year's
- 36:30Speaker 1: Eve for years now, it's Ryan Seacrest did pretty well.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Got eighteen million viewers in today's broadcast TV world. That
- 36:39Speaker 1: is enormous. That's huge, huge, and got seventeen million the
- 36:45Speaker 1: year before, so it was a definite increase. It went up.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Andy Cohen, of course, looked ridiculous, getting drunk out of
- 36:52Speaker 1: his mind, going into a drunken rant about Eric Adams,
- 36:56Speaker 1: and then Adams was asked about it the next day.
- 36:59Speaker 1: What say to Andy Cohen, who called you all kinds
- 37:01Speaker 1: of names, and he said, I got my response is
- 37:05Speaker 1: two letters, and you thought it must be f you
- 37:11Speaker 1: or something like my response is two letters AA, which
- 37:16Speaker 1: was a great response. And now Adam's tweeting about Andy
- 37:22Speaker 1: Cohen alcoholics anonymous. So it is a problem. You know,
- 37:26Speaker 1: people get drunk on New Year's Eve, but if you're
- 37:28Speaker 1: on live television, in front of eighteen million people. You'd
- 37:31Speaker 1: think you'd have a little discipline not to get that drunk.
- 37:34Speaker 1: But it was a big night for ABC with the
- 37:38Speaker 1: eighteen million viewers. Fox News had one of the best
- 37:42Speaker 1: years ever. Four point one million viewers was the average.
- 37:46Speaker 1: That's like way beyond any other cable network. Four point
- 37:50Speaker 1: one million viewers. Biggest show of the year was The
- 37:53Speaker 1: Five and Jesse Waters and of course Hannity. Those are
- 37:58Speaker 1: the three biggest shows. MSNBC, CNN a bad year. Not
- 38:03Speaker 1: a lot. The most watched telecast of twenty twenty five
- 38:06Speaker 1: number one, right the super Bowl? Number two. Tracker The
- 38:12Speaker 1: hell is Tracker? I don't know. It's one of those
- 38:15Speaker 1: drama shows. I know, I do know. It's about that
- 38:18Speaker 1: whatever he is, a detective, whatever he is, who tracks
- 38:20Speaker 1: down missing people. Nineteen episodes, but it did really well.
- 38:23Speaker 1: The NFL was the biggest thing on television all year.
- 38:26Speaker 1: If you take the top hundred one hundred things of
- 38:30Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, forty five of them almost half were
- 38:34Speaker 1: NFL games. That's really the only thing keeping broadcast TV alive.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Ratings are down dramatically. Everything in broadcast TV ratings are
- 38:44Speaker 1: way down, But the NFL doing really well. Tim Waltz,
- 38:49Speaker 1: you know, he said he will not seek reelection, and
- 38:52Speaker 1: I don't blame him. If eighteen billion was stolen right
- 38:55Speaker 1: under your nose in your own state, you got no
- 38:58Speaker 1: business seeking reelection. By the way, way the attorney general
- 39:02Speaker 1: of Minnesota, that left wing kook, Keith Ellison, Why hasn't
- 39:05Speaker 1: he resigned? If you're the attorney general and eighteen billion
- 39:09Speaker 1: was stolen right into your nose and you didn't catch it,
- 39:13Speaker 1: why hasn't he resigned? Now people are calling for Waltz
- 39:15Speaker 1: to resign immediately. He won't seek reelection, but people are
- 39:19Speaker 1: saying this is so bad, this scandal so horrifying, that
- 39:23Speaker 1: he should resign immediately. He refuses to do that.
- 39:26Speaker 10: I'm not going anywhere, and you can make all your
- 39:28Speaker 10: requests for me to resign over my dead body will
- 39:31Speaker 10: that happen. I will fight this thing till the very
- 39:34Speaker 10: end to make this state better. And the question that
- 39:37Speaker 10: I think they need to decide is is when did
- 39:39Speaker 10: the guy in the White House resign? Anytime I get
- 39:41Speaker 10: drug into being next to Donald Trump? God help me,
- 39:44Speaker 10: I don't want to be judged against that guy.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Now, Apparently in private, they told him he should resign,
- 39:50Speaker 1: and he threw a temper tantrument and went nuts, and
- 39:53Speaker 1: then he The rest of that speech was this whole
- 39:56Speaker 1: thing about every minute I spend on my own political
- 39:58Speaker 1: interests is a minut and that I can't spend defending
- 40:01Speaker 1: the people in Minnesota against the criminals who prey on
- 40:04Speaker 1: our generosity. Well, I think if eighteen billion went missing,
- 40:08Speaker 1: we could agree he's not very good at that. Anyway,
- 40:11Speaker 1: he is suffering. I mean, you don't want to make
- 40:15Speaker 1: fun of a guy with medical problems. He is suffering
- 40:17Speaker 1: from Trump derangement syndrome. Game's over for him now. It
- 40:22Speaker 1: was all me. I was the bad guy or whatever.
- 40:24Speaker 10: Well, put up or shut up now and tell us
- 40:26Speaker 10: what you're going to do to make this state better.
- 40:28Speaker 10: Answer these tough questions, quit hiding behind this and expect
- 40:33Speaker 10: for the next eleven months for me to ride you
- 40:36Speaker 10: like you've never been ridden.
- 40:39Speaker 1: I don't know what that means. But what's Trump going
- 40:41Speaker 1: to do about it? Well, right now they're going in
- 40:44Speaker 1: and arresting the criminals who stole the eighteen billion, not million,
- 40:49Speaker 1: eighteen billion. They're arresting them one by one. This is
- 40:52Speaker 1: like the Bernie Madoff cleanup. You know, they had to
- 40:54Speaker 1: go after everybody, but then they had to claw back
- 40:56Speaker 1: the money. Well, the fans are starting to do that.
- 40:59Speaker 1: You know a lot of these ring leaders of this fraud,
- 41:01Speaker 1: and it was just an out and out fraud scheme
- 41:04Speaker 1: by these Somalis in Minnesota. Many of them took the
- 41:09Speaker 1: money and bought mansions and Porsches and luxury goods and
- 41:13Speaker 1: all sorts of expensive real estate. Well here's one. One
- 41:17Speaker 1: woman was convicted. The court is now federal charges. The
- 41:20Speaker 1: court is now clawing back everything, making her sell the houses,
- 41:23Speaker 1: the Porsche, the cars, the Rolls Royces and getting the
- 41:27Speaker 1: money back. So it takes a while. You know, with
- 41:30Speaker 1: the Bernie Madoff stuff, that was like fifty billion, but
- 41:33Speaker 1: they got back like thirty billion of it. So they'll
- 41:35Speaker 1: get they'll probably get back nine billion of this money.
- 41:38Speaker 1: They'll claw it back slowly but surely. And that's what
- 41:41Speaker 1: you do about it. Oh, I forget George Conway. Now,
- 41:46Speaker 1: this guy is going to be great. We are so
- 41:49Speaker 1: lucky that he has come to New York and he's
- 41:52Speaker 1: going to run for the Gerald Nadler, a congressional seat
- 41:55Speaker 1: that's open. Now you might be saying well, what if
- 41:57Speaker 1: he wins. He's a left wing crazy, yeah, but so
- 42:00Speaker 1: as Nadler. So it's no change at all. And that
- 42:03Speaker 1: district in New York, you're always going to get a
- 42:04Speaker 1: left wing cook, so you might as well get this
- 42:06Speaker 1: guy because he's so silly and such a clown. George Conway.
- 42:10Speaker 1: He was married at one time to Kelly and Conway,
- 42:13Speaker 1: who's great, and you might say, well, how could that be. Well,
- 42:17Speaker 1: back then, you know, he was one of the most
- 42:18Speaker 1: brilliant lawyers in New York, brilliant attorney, a very successful guy,
- 42:24Speaker 1: and then he was married to her. But we've seen
- 42:26Speaker 1: this happen before where somebody goes nuts. And Conway was
- 42:30Speaker 1: hanging around with all the big Conservatives and Republicans, George
- 42:34Speaker 1: Conway and then at some point we've seen it with
- 42:36Speaker 1: other people. They they just snap, they just go nuts,
- 42:40Speaker 1: and all of a sudden they become a left wing
- 42:43Speaker 1: cook with Trump derangement syndrome. But he's going to run
- 42:46Speaker 1: for this seat on the west side of Manhattan. Now
- 42:49Speaker 1: you might be saying to yourself, wait a minute, he
- 42:51Speaker 1: lives in Maryland, he doesn't even live here. Well, he's
- 42:54Speaker 1: a Democrat. You can do whatever the hell you want
- 42:56Speaker 1: when you're a Democrat, and he's got raised money, and
- 42:59Speaker 1: he's got his first campaign ads, the George Conway campaign
- 43:03Speaker 1: is underway.
- 43:04Speaker 11: As one of the ads, we have a corrupt president,
- 43:07Speaker 11: a mendacious president, a criminal president whose masked agents are
- 43:11Speaker 11: disappearing people from our streets, who's breaking international law, and
- 43:16Speaker 11: he's running our federal government like a mob protection rocket.
- 43:21Speaker 1: This is why this guy's going to be great. This hysterical,
- 43:24Speaker 1: hyperbog nonsense. And he's mendacious, which I think is bad.
- 43:31Speaker 1: I don't know exactly what it is, but it's bad.
- 43:33Speaker 1: You don't want to be mendacious. He's disappearing people, it's
- 43:36Speaker 1: called arresting people. I love the and it's a violation
- 43:40Speaker 1: of international law. You're going to hear this a lot
- 43:43Speaker 1: from Democrats, especially with Venezuela. He's violated international law. Nobody
- 43:49Speaker 1: knows what the hell he's talking about. There's no such
- 43:51Speaker 1: thing as international law. Nobody knows what they're referring to.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Where's this international law you're talking about. There is no
- 44:00Speaker 1: national law. The only thing you could point to. I
- 44:03Speaker 1: asked Greg Jarrett, the great legal extorid, what the hell
- 44:05Speaker 1: are they talking about? The international law, he said, maybe
- 44:07Speaker 1: they're talking about the UN Charter United Nations, but they're
- 44:12Speaker 1: not a law enforcement agency. They have no law, they
- 44:14Speaker 1: have no authority, they have no standing at all. So
- 44:18Speaker 1: there's no such thing as international law. But the commercial
- 44:21Speaker 1: goes on.
- 44:22Speaker 11: He doesn't like me. I don't like what he's done
- 44:24Speaker 11: to our great country, and now I'm running for Congress
- 44:27Speaker 11: to take the fight directly back to him.
- 44:30Speaker 1: On your behalf, you go. He does not like what
- 44:33Speaker 1: he's done to this country. But Joe Biden, he always
- 44:36Speaker 1: was thrilled about that. Thrilled. But this guy's going to
- 44:40Speaker 1: be great. We're so lucky to get him here. This
- 44:43Speaker 1: is so good for us. We're going to have nothing
- 44:45Speaker 1: but amusement from this. George Conway, you remember, he's the
- 44:47Speaker 1: guy that ran that crazy Lincoln project with the same thing.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Nothing he did work because it was all too over
- 44:54Speaker 1: the top hysterical.
- 44:55Speaker 12: I don't intend to be doing this when I'm sixty
- 44:57Speaker 12: six or sixty seven or sixty eight. You know, I'm
- 45:01Speaker 12: kind of like a special teams player. I want to
- 45:03Speaker 12: do this for one reason, and that is to help
- 45:07Speaker 12: get this our governmental system back on track with something
- 45:13Speaker 12: back to normal.
- 45:14Speaker 11: At least back toward normal.
- 45:16Speaker 1: There you go. His idea normal was Joe Biden, you know,
- 45:21Speaker 1: the great stephen A. Smith. Let me see if I
- 45:23Speaker 1: can find that quote. It's a very important point because
- 45:28Speaker 1: a lot of these Democrats are going nuts and screaming
- 45:30Speaker 1: and yelling. Stephen A. Smith is a Democrat, but he
- 45:32Speaker 1: he's like Bill Maher occasional bouts of common sense. But
- 45:36Speaker 1: he stunned a Democratic audience by explaining to them because
- 45:40Speaker 1: they can't get how Donald Trump gets elected. But Stephen A.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Smith explained to him that for all the things they
- 45:46Speaker 1: hate about Donald Trump, to normal voters, to most normal voters,
- 45:51Speaker 1: they think Trump is a lot closer to normal than
- 45:54Speaker 1: today's Democrats are. And you could look at Trump and say,
- 45:58Speaker 1: he's doing things that's not presidential. Why you behave like
- 46:00Speaker 1: that way? Well, whatever he does, it's a lot more
- 46:03Speaker 1: normal than Democrats are. Right now, Hey, there's a new phenomenon.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I don't like this at all. You know. You know
- 46:10Speaker 1: the restaurant Carbone. It opened I don't know about ten
- 46:14Speaker 1: years ago in the village Carbone, an Italian restaurant. It's
- 46:18Speaker 1: sort of it was just a gimmick actually for younger
- 46:22Speaker 1: you know, the whole new generation. It was like old
- 46:24Speaker 1: school red sauce Italian food. But to these younger people,
- 46:29Speaker 1: they'd never seen that. I mean, you could go to
- 46:32Speaker 1: Patsy's and it's much better there, but they never saw
- 46:35Speaker 1: anything like Carbone and the checker tablecloths. I never saw
- 46:38Speaker 1: anything like that. So it took off. It became huge.
- 46:42Speaker 1: And when you become the hottest trendiest restaurant. Then in
- 46:46Speaker 1: the old days, you were the hottest trendiest restaurant. Anybody
- 46:49Speaker 1: would come to New York. I gotta go there. I
- 46:51Speaker 1: want to. Well, now they opened. When you're at the
- 46:54Speaker 1: trendiest place, you opened everywhere. Then there was Carbone Miami,
- 46:56Speaker 1: then there was Carbone, Paris, Carbone, Los Angeles. Car Bone
- 47:01Speaker 1: now it's just opening in the Bellagio. So the reason
- 47:04Speaker 1: for this, you get these big hedge fund guys, and
- 47:07Speaker 1: whenever it's the hottest restaurant in the world. You know,
- 47:11Speaker 1: if you want to always get a table, you bribe
- 47:12Speaker 1: the maitre d us. But if you really want to
- 47:14Speaker 1: get treated well, you get friendly with the owner and
- 47:16Speaker 1: you offer to put up millions and millions and millions
- 47:19Speaker 1: to open some more restaurants. That's why you see like
- 47:22Speaker 1: Avre on sixtieth Street that became a big hotspot. Next
- 47:27Speaker 1: thing you know, there's an Ova on fiftieth Street. Next
- 47:29Speaker 1: thing you know, there's Anavora over here. Next thing you know,
- 47:31Speaker 1: there's one in Beverly Hills. There's one in Miami. But
- 47:34Speaker 1: this phenomenon is spreading everywhere, and it's not good. Everything
- 47:38Speaker 1: is becoming a chain now. For instance, Sally's Pizza New Haven,
- 47:45Speaker 1: There's Frank Peppi's, Sally's. These were like the two. You
- 47:49Speaker 1: drive to New Haven just to have these pizzas that
- 47:52Speaker 1: everybody's saying are the best in the world. Well, next
- 47:55Speaker 1: thing you know, Frank Peppy's opening everywhere everywhere. There's one
- 47:58Speaker 1: in the Fairfield, one in Stanford, there's one here, there's
- 48:02Speaker 1: one in Yonkers, there's one. They're all over the place.
- 48:05Speaker 1: There's a couple of them in Florida, they're in Nashville there.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Now.
- 48:08Speaker 1: The other one is sally. Sally's just announced they're opening
- 48:11Speaker 1: two one hundred and fifty of them, two one hundred
- 48:15Speaker 1: and fifty of them. Now, the problem is everybody would
- 48:17Speaker 1: go to New Haven because it was such phenomenal pizza.
- 48:20Speaker 1: When you open two hundred and fifty of them. You're
- 48:22Speaker 1: not gonna have the same pizza everywhere. It's not possible.
- 48:26Speaker 1: It doesn't work. And they're all doing this. You know,
- 48:30Speaker 1: in Queens and Utopia Boulevard. For a million years, Utopia
- 48:34Speaker 1: Bagels they were always the best bagels in your People
- 48:37Speaker 1: would drive out there just to go to Utopia Bagels.
- 48:39Speaker 1: They were so amazing. Then they opened one in Manhattan
- 48:44Speaker 1: and it's always the same story. It's not as good
- 48:46Speaker 1: as the original. Now there's four in New York City.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Now they're opening all over. Now, there's gonna be one
- 48:51Speaker 1: in London, they're opening here, they're opening. They've got to
- 48:54Speaker 1: stop this stuff. These are like our finest food things,
- 48:57Speaker 1: and they're all becoming franchises. Now. McDonald's can figure out
- 49:02Speaker 1: how to do it, but these people can't. It doesn't work.
- 49:05Speaker 1: It's diluting the whole thing. Even the top restaurants of
- 49:08Speaker 1: the world that John, George, Danielle, all these guys. Now
- 49:12Speaker 1: instead of one restaurant, they got seventy five, and they're
- 49:15Speaker 1: not the same quality. You can't. You can't have seventy
- 49:18Speaker 1: five be the same quality. It's gotta stop. Hey, we'll
- 49:21Speaker 1: take some calls next eight hundred three to two one
- 49:24Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 49:28Speaker 1: one zero seven ten.

- 49:44Speaker 13: grand starting Monday on seven ten Double R.

- 49:51Speaker 1: a difference, who believed in you and really changed your life. Well,
- 49:54Speaker 1: now's a chance to say thank you to one of
- 49:56Speaker 1: those sort of teachers. It's Iheartradios Thank a Teacher. Powered

- 50:33Speaker 8: Doing all right?
- 50:34Speaker 5: Hey?
- 50:35Speaker 9: Mark, You remember Nancy Pelosi got caught on an open
- 50:38Speaker 9: mic in the backseat of her car talking to her daughter,
- 50:43Speaker 9: and in that conversation she Pelosi took the blame for
- 50:48Speaker 9: not having the National Guard.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Yeah, she turned down the ten thousand troops. And in
- 50:52Speaker 1: that documentary, her daughter was throwing the car in the
- 50:55Speaker 1: car the camera was running. She said, this is all
- 50:57Speaker 1: my fault. I should have taken the troops. So very good.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Well what do you do down there in Tennessee, Steve.
- 51:03Speaker 9: I'm retired.
- 51:04Speaker 1: No, And what do you do all day?
- 51:07Speaker 9: I just listened to you and everybody else on top radio.
- 51:11Speaker 9: That's my What's what I do all day? All kind
- 51:14Speaker 9: of programs.
- 51:15Speaker 1: All right, that's a good occupation. I like that. That
- 51:17Speaker 1: makes you a very smart person down there. Just hey,
- 51:20Speaker 1: I did that on vacation for a couple of days.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Just listen to talk radio all day. You'll learn a lot.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 51:29Speaker 14: Good morning, Mark. We're talking about January sixth to one
- 51:32Speaker 14: person when not talking about is Ashley Babbitt.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Yeah, in the.
- 51:36Speaker 14: Old person that killed her was still working. In fact,
- 51:39Speaker 14: was promoted and subsequent to her desk. She was not
- 51:42Speaker 14: a quoted any military owned I.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Know it's a it's a very important thing. Ashley Babbitt
- 51:47Speaker 1: was murdered in cold blood by a Capitol Hill policeman.
- 51:51Speaker 1: She's one of the protesters January sixth. But she's a military,
- 51:54Speaker 1: veteran war hero. She's a protester. But they will come
- 52:00Speaker 1: in through the window she's coming through and that officer
- 52:02Speaker 1: takes out his gun and just shoots her, just shoots
- 52:05Speaker 1: her in cold blood. And he's still there. A lot
- 52:07Speaker 1: of people are talking to the present about this. Something
- 52:09Speaker 1: should be done to this guy, at least fire him,
- 52:11Speaker 1: get him off the Capitol Hill Police. But a lot
- 52:14Speaker 1: of people in Congress have been defending this guy now
- 52:16Speaker 1: one reason, and this guy has a history of very
- 52:20Speaker 1: reckless behavior with his gun. It was an incident once
- 52:24Speaker 1: at his house where he just started firing at cars.
- 52:26Speaker 1: I mean, he should be removed. But a lot of
- 52:31Speaker 1: people in Congress, big Congress people are afraid to go
- 52:34Speaker 1: after anybody in the Capitol Hill Police because they're the
- 52:38Speaker 1: Capitol Hill Police. They've seen a lot, they know a
- 52:41Speaker 1: lot of secrets about these guys, so nobody wants to
- 52:45Speaker 1: get them on the You know against them, because they
- 52:48Speaker 1: know a lot of stuff. Let's go to Blauvelt in Florida. Blauvelt,
- 52:51Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 52:53Speaker 5: Baux Simone, how are you sir?
- 52:54Speaker 1: Welcome back?
- 52:55Speaker 5: Hey? That police officer sure that you were just talking
- 52:57Speaker 5: about he should he should be in jail. Yes, on
- 53:00Speaker 5: this midterms, the mid trest coming up there. R and
- 53:02Speaker 5: DC should hire Trump's son Baron and all his friends
- 53:09Speaker 5: and get all these videos of all these democrats in
- 53:13Speaker 5: Trump didn't take out MDUA the first year.
- 53:16Speaker 1: It's already there. It's been there for the whole week.
- 53:18Speaker 1: It's already there. But it's already. I don't mean to
- 53:22Speaker 1: confuse you with reality. It's already there. It's been all
- 53:24Speaker 1: over Twitter since Saturday. It's all over Twitter. The White
- 53:27Speaker 1: House has already put it out.
- 53:29Speaker 5: Uh.
- 53:30Speaker 1: In fact, if you go to any White House site,
- 53:32Speaker 1: Trump's site, all that videos up there, Schumer demanding we
- 53:34Speaker 1: get rid of Maduro, of Chris Murphy doing it. The
- 53:37Speaker 1: video is already all over the place and has been
- 53:40Speaker 1: for days. Let's go to Bill in Hackensack, Bill, how
- 53:43Speaker 1: you doing good? Thank you?
- 53:45Speaker 15: Mark, by the way, the one name the Democrats will
- 53:49Speaker 15: never mention, aside from tampon, Tim Wolfs is Ashley Babbitt,
- 53:54Speaker 15: and thank you for mentioning her name. That innocent woman
- 53:59Speaker 15: who was five foot four Air Force veteran, Ashley Babbitt
- 54:03Speaker 15: gunned down, murdered and yes.
- 54:05Speaker 1: By that awful Capitol hillcop who should be a lot
- 54:09Speaker 1: of people are talking to the President constantly about going
- 54:12Speaker 1: after this guy, finally getting some justice for Ashley Babbott.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Let's go to Mike in New Jersey. Mike, how you doing?
- 54:18Speaker 16: Yeah, Hi, Mark, I enjoy your show.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 54:20Speaker 16: My good question. The Affordable Care Act. My son is
- 54:23Speaker 16: being hammered his premiums of Skyrocket and we just don't
- 54:27Speaker 16: know what to do his coverage. Obviously he can't afford.
- 54:30Speaker 16: There's no subsidies anymore. Is there anything you can suggest,
- 54:33Speaker 16: as Trump have anything in the works? Well, Congress doing anything?
- 54:37Speaker 1: That's the problem. This will all come up at the
- 54:38Speaker 1: end of the month when they'll have to vote to
- 54:40Speaker 1: continue the subsidies. It's over that issue that the government
- 54:43Speaker 1: shut down happened last time, it could happen again. I
- 54:47Speaker 1: would imagine in the end, because you've got midterms coming up,
- 54:50Speaker 1: the President will sort of agree to continue that subsidy
- 54:53Speaker 1: for a while his plan is much better instead of
- 54:56Speaker 1: the constant subsidizing this Unaffordable Care Act, fix it, fix it.
- 55:01Speaker 1: A lot of it'll be privatizing, and the whole system
- 55:04Speaker 1: is totally government corrupt, you know, which means you know,
- 55:08Speaker 1: you get an MRI, they charge you three eight hundred
- 55:11Speaker 1: dollars for it. Meantime there's another person getting an MRI
- 55:15Speaker 1: somewhere else where it's eight hundred dollars. It's all of
- 55:17Speaker 1: these ridiculous finaggling the problem to the Affordable Care Act.
- 55:21Speaker 1: It was just a gift to insurance agencies to charge
- 55:24Speaker 1: whatever the hell they want to charge. It needs to
- 55:27Speaker 1: be cleaned up. So they'll probably have to extend the
- 55:29Speaker 1: subsidies for the rest of this year while they figure
- 55:32Speaker 1: out how to fix this Affordable Care Act. Hey, when
- 55:35Speaker 1: we come back and culter, we'll be with us next
- 55:38Speaker 1: on seven to ten wor the follow her on substack
- 55:42Speaker 1: where she's got just columns and videos and podcasts, interviews,
- 55:45Speaker 1: all sorts of stuff, a lot of content and culture
- 55:48Speaker 1: dot substack dot com and culture.
- 55:51Speaker 9: How you doing fantastic?
- 55:53Speaker 4: How are you mark some of it? Miss talking to
- 55:55Speaker 4: you last couple.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but what a first week of twenty twenty six.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Look all that's happened in one week. You got rid
- 56:01Speaker 1: of Tim wats I, Dureau everything. What do you think
- 56:05Speaker 1: I know?
- 56:06Speaker 4: Yeah, Chrump's not letting the grass grow under his feet.
- 56:08Speaker 4: We have a short amount of time. I think it's fantastic.
- 56:11Speaker 4: I have a column coming out on it later. I
- 56:13Speaker 4: want to go back to the era of a semi
- 56:19Speaker 4: competent CIA, which we haven't had recently but may have now,
- 56:23Speaker 4: installing puppet governments throughout Latin America. They're obviously incapable of
- 56:28Speaker 4: governing themselves, and things were going great when the CIA
- 56:32Speaker 4: and the State Department and John Foster Dulles were running things,
- 56:36Speaker 4: knocking out the incompetence, I mean the problem. George Pennon,
- 56:41Speaker 4: the legendary diplomat, Yeah, went took a tour through Latin America,
- 56:46Speaker 4: knowing the strategic importance to the US He's and basically concluded,
- 56:50Speaker 4: these people are incapable of governing themselves. We should take
- 56:53Speaker 4: all measures. This is this is this will be a
- 56:56Speaker 4: problem for the US. We shouldn't worry about democratic niceties
- 57:01Speaker 4: that we would not accept in this country. And that
- 57:05Speaker 4: was followed up until liberals got the idea that's oh no,
- 57:09Speaker 4: they're just as good at self governance as we are. Well,
- 57:12Speaker 4: obviously they aren't. Over and over again you get the
- 57:15Speaker 4: same pattern. I mean Venezuela for example, which I've written
- 57:18Speaker 4: about a few times. It was the people, i e.
- 57:23Speaker 4: Peasants who keep voting for these communists who promised to
- 57:29Speaker 4: steal from the rich and give them all their money,
- 57:31Speaker 4: which they proceed to do, and then the country is
- 57:33Speaker 4: out of money. They can't get loyal out of the ground. No,
- 57:37Speaker 4: there has to be a paternalistic relationship to between the
- 57:41Speaker 4: United States and Latin America. And it's weird that the
- 57:44Speaker 4: media is acting as if we have no idea what
- 57:48Speaker 4: this means to install the world be running things. No,
- 57:52Speaker 4: no boots on the ground, no nation building. We just
- 57:56Speaker 4: have our own, our own US ruler to save the
- 58:03Speaker 4: people from themselves.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but who are we to complain about their governing.
- 58:07Speaker 1: We just elected Kathy Hockel and Mom Donnie, So who
- 58:10Speaker 1: are we to talk?
- 58:11Speaker 4: Yes, well, New York should sit this one out.
- 58:16Speaker 1: And Mom Donnie just put this woman in charge of
- 58:18Speaker 1: housing and apparently one time she said home ownership is
- 58:25Speaker 1: white supremacy, and we must see.
- 58:27Speaker 4: Private press read in the New York Post. She owns
- 58:31Speaker 4: a one point seven million dollar home in Tennessee. So
- 58:36Speaker 4: at least there's no hypocrisy from the left. No, not ever,
- 58:40Speaker 4: But wow, that is this is this is not going
- 58:43Speaker 4: to be good for housing in New York. It probably,
- 58:47Speaker 4: as we've discussed before, these run control measures just invariably
- 58:52Speaker 4: drive up the price of housing and limit the supply.
- 58:56Speaker 4: As you have landlords who were forced to just walk
- 58:59Speaker 4: away from their properties when the taxes and maintenance fees
- 59:04Speaker 4: are more than what they are allowed to charge and
- 59:07Speaker 4: rent by law. I mean, how long are they supposed
- 59:11Speaker 4: to keep losing money every month? They just walk away
- 59:14Speaker 4: and there goes there goes more housing.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, don't you feel bad for the left wing,
- 59:21Speaker 1: the Democrats right now, these liberals, because remember they had
- 59:23Speaker 1: to all go out and buy Ukrainian flags. Then they
- 59:26Speaker 1: had to go buy Hamas flags. Then they had to
- 59:28Speaker 1: buy Mexican flags, Then they had to get Somali flags.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Now they got to go get Venezuelan flags.
- 59:34Speaker 4: It's rough, as I prefer it to. I love when
- 59:39Speaker 4: they have these leftist protests and you know they'll have
- 59:43Speaker 4: one sharp George Soros type instructing them all go buy
- 59:48Speaker 4: an American flag.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Yeah, for Republican it's easy. Just buy one American flag.
- 59:55Speaker 1: You're except for life. That's all you need.
- 59:57Speaker 4: They probably have their American flags if they're republic Uh.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: And what about Tim wats Is that the silliest guy
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: you've ever seen? Did you ever think it would be
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: over this fast for him?
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: Not totally surprised. Man, he was a boob from the
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: moment he he showed up. Uh, it's it's it's a maybe.
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: It teams a bit annoying that. I mean, you did
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: almost become the vice president of the United States. All
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: of this was known when he was running. There were
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: there were surprisingly enough liberal administrators of these government programs,
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: well you know, regular Minnesotans who were trying to be
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: whistleblowers and being retaliated against out of Minnesota. This was
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: a story there for the taking. Uh, I guess, I
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: guess you and I read about it and and and
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: talked about it a little bit. It was showing up
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: on Twitter and in conservative publications like Breitbart, not in
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: the detail we have now. But when was the mainstream
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: media going to get around to covering this about the
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: possible next vice president of the United States.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I think never was the date they had picked. But hey,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the other thing I'm watching every left wing fake news
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: they're all keep saying about Venezuela, it's a violation of
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: international law. Nobody can figure out where the hell is
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: this international law they're talking about. Where does that exist?
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: There is no law in.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: The imaginations of small children and liberals like Santa Claus
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: and the Easter Bunny. There is no such thing as
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: international law, international laws. Whatever the United States says international
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: law is so yes, it is hilarious when liberals go
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: around wailing about the violations of something that doesn't exist. Yeah,
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: tell us what? Tell us what Santa Claus says?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Next?
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so, what are we going to do here in
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: New York with Mom Donnie? You know, this is going
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: to get out of control.
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: It's not looking good so far. I mean, I mean,
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: there was I had some I don't know if it's
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: it's hope or if it just seems kind of logical
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: that he doesn't seem like a like a half wit
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: the way Tim Waltz does, so I kind of. I mean,
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: when he decided to keep and announce before the election
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: that he was going to keep the Police Commissioner Jessica Tish.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: I thought, okay, well he does at least know his
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: entire mayoralty will go to hell if if he unleashes
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: criminals on the citizenry. And I thought maybe it would
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: be a lot of left wing talk, but he would maintain,
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: you know, just to to satisfy his it's not particularly
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: astute base, but then actually do a decent job running
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: the city. No, it does not look like that at all,
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: Mark Simone.
- 1:02:56Speaker 17: He seems to really believe he's going to put all
- 1:03:00Speaker 17: DEI and left incompetence in important government positions and know
- 1:03:06Speaker 17: that really does not vode well.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Well, but it's just the third term of Deblasio. All
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: these same people were in the Deblasio administration. It was bad,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: but we got through it. So we'll get through this,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: won't we.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Well, it is New York City, and New York City
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: it's a hard city to wreck. And all I can
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: say is that's what we thought for many years about
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: the most beautiful state in the Union, California. But you know,
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: let Democrats put their minds to it, they can wreck anything.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: So you know, they always love this socialism and you
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: could point out it's never worked anywhere in the world.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: The last ten thousand times it failed. But don't they
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: also ever notice that whenever they do these big programs,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: billions of dollars go missing. Deblasio lost a billion dollars
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: in that fake program. We just saw eighteen billion go
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: missing in Minnesota. Don't they ever notice all the money
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: goes missing?
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: Hilarious? Yeah, I was just looking. I was just on
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: Twitter before calling in to my friend Mickey Cows and
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: tweeted out something about this Minnesota fraud, and his very
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: left wing brother tweeted back at him, saying, you know,
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: this is the fault of conservatives that this program had
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: been I've been government run, we never would have had
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: this fraud. This is simultaneously with two hundred billion being
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: stolen from the COVID relief funds.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: No, it's just it's just off. Hey year old buddy
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: George Conway is coming to New York. He didn't live here,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: but he's running for Jerry Nadler's congressional seat. Do you
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: think he has any chance?
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Well, it elected. Jerry Nndler can't say I really have
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: my finger on the pulse of those voters. I don't know.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: It's very very strange. George and I weirdly enough, we're
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: best friends for a long time. I introduced him to
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: his wife. There was no daylight between our positions. And
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: I don't know a lot of people Trump just just broken.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. There are people that just I was
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: when Trump came along, they just went off the deep end.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: There's a bunch of them.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: But that's straight. He's not the only one of my friends.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: And it's one thing. I mean, you know, I have
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: my I have my complaints with Trump. There's a lot
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: to complain about there. But when you have people who
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: have been had certain certain and like I said, Georgs
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: and the only one a certain worldview, you know, anti crime,
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: for example, anti public violence, anti communism, and just because
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: I don't know, they don't like Trump again, lots to
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: dislike there. They suddenly slip on every single position they've
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: ever held, believed, argued written about. It's a very strange
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: phenomenon and I've seen it, I'd say a handful of times.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, and Culter, great talking to you. Glad you're back,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: and everybody check out her Twitter and make sure you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: sign up at substack and get her new column. You
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: can get interviews, podcasts, Everything and Culture dot Substack dot
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: com and Culter. Thanks for being with us.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: Good to talk you, Mark Simone.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Bye, right, take care. I don't forget Buck and Clay Boy.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I love their show. It's every day noon to three
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: and it's coming up right after the news on seven
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: to ten WR. There's no such thing as international law.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: When they say Trump is violated international law. So if
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: you went to any left wing kook and you try
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: to justify that comment, all they can point to is well,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: some countries have treaties and agreements with each other, okay,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: but that's not international law. And there is the United
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Nations a charter, but they have no authority over anything.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: There's a couple of international courts, but nobody recognizes and
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: they have no juristic or authority over anything. There is
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: no international law to violate. Hey, we're out of time.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'll be back tomorrow. I'm here every weekday ten to noon.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: And if you can't listen ten to noon, get the podcast.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: That way, you can listen anytime you want, day or night,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: wherever you get podcasts. I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for everything,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: seven ten wor
