- 1:09This show is brought to you by AFS Automated Financial Services,

- 1:16All right. What it, BrewBoo? What it, BrewBoo? Wow, that was our new intro, guys.
- 1:21What you thinking of that, Allen? It was fucking wild. It was wild,
- 1:24right? Yeah. Oh, man. I dug it. I don't know who the rapper is. What are we calling him?
- 1:30I got nothing. I don't know who we're calling him. Can we just unthug this in
- 1:34from fucking... AI Quan? Yeah, I don't know. We just, yeah.
- 1:38A.I. A.I. Scent. Oh, you know, like A.I. Like A.I. Kwan.
- 1:42Or A.I. Z. Yeah. Jay-Z's, uh. Jesus. Jay-Z's. Jay-Z's legitimate A.I. Brother. I don't know.
- 1:50He's got kids running around. Anyway, with a brew boo. With a brew boo.
- 1:54All right. Well, you know what? Guess what?
- 1:56We're going to start this off right. We got a visitor.
- 2:00And, uh, yeah. Want to test your mic, dear, Anna? Hello. Test us. Oh.
- 2:05We got a woman in the building today. That's awesome. A new brew brother.
- 2:09Yeah, a new brew brother.
- 2:11You know, this never happens around here. We kind of need a woman's energy to,
- 2:15like, bring us down to reality. Because we're just degenerates. Yeah.
- 2:19Out of control. And these guys are married, and they're out of control completely.
- 2:24Those are the worst ones. Yeah. See that? See, she's on my side.
- 2:28People expect me to say the craziest things. These guys say some crazy. They're dark.
- 2:34It's because they're married. Yes. It's a darkness. It's a darkness?
- 2:37I was married for a long time. Oh, God. It's fucking intrusive thoughts.
- 2:40I'm never getting married. It sounds like a horrible thing. It's like your life goes downhill.
- 2:46Yeah? Oh, damn it. Come on.
- 2:50This is going to be a good time. I don't know who's watching this,
- 2:51so I just let it. I didn't say anything.
- 2:54You know what? It's a good thing we're fucking great. Yeah, we only got like
- 2:5613,000 followers. No big deal. Yeah, no big deal. No big deal.
- 2:59Right. And anyway. I'm pretty sure if my wife has ever seen an episode.
- 3:03Oh, yeah. You'd be divorced.
- 3:05I'm fucking screwed. Yeah. Alan probably gets into arguments,
- 3:09but Paul's divorced for sure.
- 3:12It's over. He's never going to. He can't come home no more.
- 3:16Well, this is episode 73 of Boo Brothers Podcast. We're calling this one.
- 3:20Bruised pork and a cult. Oh, my.
- 3:23That's what you say. Oh, yeah. But you got to say it like that.
- 3:25You got to be like. Bruised pork and cults. Oh, my. No, no. Oh,
- 3:28bruised, caught, and poured. Oh, my.
- 3:31I'm not drunk enough like Dorothy. I'm not Dorothy drunk yet.
- 3:34No, you got to kind of lean into it.
- 3:37You know what? Sometimes you got to just be like, you got to emphasize certain
- 3:40things like, oh my, right? You need that little Michael Jackson.
- 3:45Yeah. I don't know. I got caught up in Michael Jackson the other day.
- 3:48Do we have it on a happy's and we're jamming out? Oh God.
- 3:51Anyway. So how about you introduce yourself? Who are you?
- 3:55Sure. Yeah. Anna Rosberg. I'm the general manager at the Alaris Center.
- 3:58And I also oversee the Midwest for the company I work for, Oakview Group.
- 4:02Sweet. Okay. So what do you do exactly at the Alera Center here in town?
- 4:08Well, I oversee all of our operations. So everything from booking shows,
- 4:11I do the concert booking.
- 4:13We've got a sales team that does all of the meetings, trade shows,
- 4:16all the other 400 events a year.
- 4:18Operations, food and beverage, event management, sales, marketing,
- 4:21finance, the whole shebang.
- 4:23I'm the ringleader of our little circus we've got over there.
- 4:26Do you have like a doctorate in media or what?
- 4:29No, I should though, honestly. No, I've been doing it for a long time.
- 4:32Eight and a half years in Grand Forks now and this is all I've ever done.
- 4:35I don't think I could have a real job at this point.
- 4:37No. So you know what, Anna, I don't know if you noticed, but I used to work for Live Nation.
- 4:41Oh, I don't think I did know that. Yeah, I worked for Live Nation for like eight
- 4:44years. Yeah, okay. I worked up in Winnipeg.
- 4:46Yeah, I was like a regional manager. Yeah. So basically my job was to make sure
- 4:50when the shows got booked and come through my way, I made sure that everything
- 4:55was in place for all the talent.
- 4:57I did, like, Kanye West, Rihanna, Nerd. I did Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney.
- 5:05So many people. You know how it is. Yeah, so you know the drill.
- 5:08Yeah, so I was really doing that for a long time.
- 5:10I even traveled some time with them to, like, I would go to the Montreal shows.
- 5:13I'd go to Vancouver shows.
- 5:15It was a great job, and I had a lot of fun. But, you know, doing concerts every two or three months.
- 5:20Fantastic. It's a lot of work. I don't think people realize how much work it
- 5:23is The hotel stuff, all that stuff Setting all that stuff up It was a lot of
- 5:27work And they pay, you know, you get paid great money But you're exhausted Yeah,
- 5:31and then, you know, time with your family And all that stuff Yeah.
- 5:35I went through relationships like it was going out of style.
- 5:37Right. You have to be somebody that gets it, I think, for sure.
- 5:40And even a layer center, even the Midwest, we're all doing a million nights
- 5:44and weekends and holidays.
- 5:45And it's a lifestyle. You're like, I don't know when I'm going to be home.
- 5:47Sorry, I don't have a time.
- 5:48Depends on how settlement goes. Depends on how the show goes.
- 5:50Did an idiot get in a fight in the parking lot? Now I'm with PD until 3 in the morning. Exactly.
- 5:54I don't know when I'll be home. So I think that's tough. That is tough.
- 5:58But it's fun. It's so fun. Late nights, like working at a bar almost.
- 6:01Yeah. No, no, I get it. It's a grind. and then you're up the next morning for
- 6:03meetings. It's not like you're, you don't necessarily get to just take the day
- 6:06off because you had a show the day before.
- 6:08So, a lot of travel. I don't miss that about working the bars until six in the
- 6:12morning. Oh, yeah. So that's right. Socializing, yes, but...
- 6:16Sleep is fucking non-existent. Right. It's high stress too. No,
- 6:20it's high stress. I'm a napper though. So like, I won't lie.
- 6:23This is kind of in my nap time right now. So I did this for you guys.
- 6:27If I'm like struggling or it's like a really bad week or like crazy or like,
- 6:30all right, well, I've been working a million hours. Like, I'm just going to
- 6:33go like take a little nap nap and I'll be, I'll be right as rain.
- 6:36No, I actually, I preferred working later nights. Like when I was bartending
- 6:40and stuff. I'm not a morning person at all.
- 6:42I was up by five. I was at the gym at like six.
- 6:45I've already worked out. I've done more than most people do by noon already.
- 6:49I've been busy doing, running around. Just a humble brag over there.
- 6:53Yeah, you know. No, and I'm just saying, it's just who I am, you know.
- 6:57I'm just joking. No, I have a really hard.
- 7:00These headphones don't work. Yeah. I have a really hard time getting up.
- 7:04But, like, once I'm up, I have a really difficult time going to sleep. Wow. Really? Yeah.
- 7:09No, I could lay down on the floor right there and take a nap if I needed to.
- 7:11Like, see ya, lights out. Yeah, that's okay, you know. What do you do?
- 7:15So anyway, this is episode 73 of Blue Brothers Podcast. We got Anna Rosberg here.
- 7:19So Anna, I don't know if you've ever seen our show. It's okay if you haven't
- 7:22because nobody watches it.
- 7:24Like 13,000 people? Yeah, no big deal. You know what? A lot of people,
- 7:28like my friends at work, they all are like, oh, Blue Brothers, cool, cool.
- 7:32They don't watch it. But lately, they start watching now. Oh,
- 7:35good. And they're all like, oh, you guys are pretty funny, actually.
- 7:38Yeah. This is kind of fun. You guys crack a lot of jokes and,
- 7:42you know, Paul's really dark.
- 7:44And Alan's kind of in the middle And you know I'm not dark I've seen the show
- 7:48a couple times guys Yeah The last how many pork and brews Happy Erie's pork
- 7:51and brew True How many times I've seen it live baby I've seen it live That's
- 7:55true You know and we're here for the pork and brew That's what we're here too
- 7:57Right Talking about the pork and brew,
- 7:58What's this How many pork and brews Have there been so far Oh my god I should
- 8:02know the answer to that It's a lot It's a lot It's like at least 10 I don't know Is this our 10-12,
- 8:07It's 12. Well, he would know. It's a lot. He used to be called something else, right?
- 8:10Well, it used to be Beer and Bacon. Beer and Bacon. Right. Here's Beer and Bacon.
- 8:15So that got taken over because Bernie's in Fargo, they did an event called Beer and Bacon.
- 8:21And as far as I know, Greg and them just gave it up because they went a different
- 8:25route. They had a trademark.
- 8:26Yeah. And we used to work with a different partner, too. So Happy Heroes has
- 8:28been along for the ride. I did something weird to my headphones.
- 8:31Has been along for the ride this whole time.
- 8:33Yeah, it was going on, too. You don't have to wear them if you don't want to.
- 8:36It actually finally came back. It was just weird But yeah Happy Years has been
- 8:39along For the ride this whole time All 12 years And we had a different Promoter
- 8:43partner at the time And so that's why The name changed To Pork and Brew And
- 8:46then it can encompass More than just bacon So we've got all different Pork dishes
- 8:50now You know You know what It sucks too for me Because I don't eat pork.
- 8:53I know. My dad's a Muslim, so I grew up Muslim, you know, Christian,
- 8:59you know, and I don't know, bounce back and forth between my mom and my dad.
- 9:04And, you know, and I just never ate pork.
- 9:06I have no desire to really eat it. Sometimes I want to try it because it looks
- 9:10pretty good. I'm not sure yet.
- 9:11I don't know if I get sick if I eat it. I don't think so. No,
- 9:14I don't think you get sick.
- 9:16Sometimes bacon looks good. Like the candied bacon looks really good sometimes.
- 9:19Yeah, let me butler it around on the tray.
- 9:21I haven't had to do that for a couple of years. Our staffing's been, like, pretty awesome.
- 9:24So we've got a great team. But, like, there was a couple years where I was out
- 9:27there, like, butlering that, baking around. Yeah, I remember seeing that. Oh, yeah.
- 9:30So let's just hope I don't have to do that this year. Oh, yeah.
- 9:33So around here, Anna, what we do, you know, we talk. We talk about all kinds of stuff.
- 9:37We just go through a whole pillar of things. And then we drink beer.
- 9:42We try beer. We taste beer.
- 9:43Just so happened, Alan's brung some beer today. I bring a couple of,
- 9:47you know, barrel-aged, you know, gifts.
- 9:50But Alan brung some beer. Alan's going to introduce what beer we're drinking
- 9:53first. We're going to try beers the whole show. Let's do it.
- 9:56Let's do it. There you go.
- 9:57And she's here. And she can drink. I'm here for it. Yeah. And she can drink,
- 10:01too. See, she's like here to actually be in the show. I'm in it.
- 10:03I told you, I'm a brew brother. An honor for you.
- 10:07If you want one of the best beers in the studio. Oh, a bushy? Yep. Hell yeah.
- 10:13It's just like. The fucking bushy's from the streets. No class.
- 10:17And he's got a koozie, too. It's like a very garage, North Dakota garage beer. I love it.
- 10:22It's like a low-class beer. Oh, God. It's low-class. It's just a delicacy.
- 10:27Yeah, that's what they say.
- 10:28I can't do it. I don't know how you guys do it. It's like pee in a can.
- 10:33Only if it's warm. It's pretty cold. It's pretty cold. It's pretty cold.
- 10:37Well, I guess I've never tried pee in a can.
- 10:39You have, actually. You try it every day. Oh, God. Sounds like that's something Shannon does, huh?
- 10:45Yeah, I mean, you have to have a reference point. Right. I like it. It sounds funny. Okay.
- 10:51That's fine by Anna. Look at that. We need you here, Anna. Are you sure you
- 10:54don't want to just quit your job?
- 10:56Yeah, I'll just join from, you know, a couple times a month or however,
- 10:58how often do you guys do this?
- 11:00Every other. Every other week we do it. All right. So we do it twice a month.
- 11:03Yeah. You know. I'll come a couple times a year to just like make sure you guys
- 11:06are in check. No, we need that.
- 11:07Sometimes we need that. We have women on every now and then and it does make
- 11:12the energy different in the room. You know what I'm saying? Like we need that.
- 11:15I mean, we have Manny coming every now and then. He's pretty feminine.
- 11:19Manny will come when Manny comes you will know who Manny is he's the boss yeah
- 11:24he's from Africa he's like I am Manny ask him to show you his African tattoo,
- 11:29do I want to see that do I want to see
- 11:32that no no no you know what Manny's a very dark guy because he's from Uganda
- 11:36and he's you know he's proud proud Ugandan and everything and you know you can't
- 11:41see the tattoo on his dark body where is the tattoo before I ask I just want
- 11:47to make sure You got to get a light and kind of like look at it, you know?
- 11:52So fucking good. It is what it is.
- 11:55I mean, and then he'll come in and be like, I'm the boss. I run this town, you know, you know.
- 12:01And he's good friends with Andy, too. So he's like, oh. There he is.
- 12:04I was going to say, here comes a set of teeth.
- 12:08Oh, yeah. Oh, he's smiling. I know what I'm trying, but I feel like I should start this.
- 12:13Yeah, let's go. Let's try the beer. What are we drinking, Alan?
- 12:15So we are following the cult love of Drekker right now, and I've given them
- 12:20a lot of shit, but I'm glad they do make other stuff besides their IPAs, which we do have.
- 12:25And those sours are great. They are. It's just the fact that they're still so
- 12:30fucking thick. You can only drink like... What do you think we drink?
- 12:32I mean, what are we drinking? I like the fact that they went to this route.
- 12:35It's a Czech dark lager. It's called non-satanic.
- 12:38Do you like it yeah you know what I'm not like a huge beer drinker and I don't
- 12:43like a lot of dark stuff but I actually like this one to be honest it's like
- 12:46it is heavy though I like the flavor it's traditionally a light body like a
- 12:49lager but the nice roasty malt will give that nice coffee.
- 12:54Paisley coffee-ish roast yeah is this
- 12:56your beer of the week no no okay let me know when you have when you decide your
- 13:02beer of the week yeah you gotta decide which one's your beer of the week we
- 13:04got a whole you know what me and Paul sat here the other day and we just kind
- 13:08of like started you know getting our show more refined you know for the new year like the
- 13:14new intro was new yeah the new beer the week thing is new like we're just trying new things
- 13:19wait till you see us at the pork and brook i can't wait our game is january
- 13:2431st our game we're stepping our game up we're coming in hot i love it we're
- 13:28coming in hot and we're coming in fun you can stay paul sit sit down manny do
- 13:34you want to get after you guys out of the way or do want to go?
- 13:35No. Manny, I was told to ask to see your tattoo.
- 13:43Well, that was a look. Manny, Manny, Anna, Anna, Manny.
- 13:50Nice to meet you. Do you want to do sour or do you want to get the hops out of the way?
- 13:54Let's do a sour for Anna because the hops fighting on just, you like IPAs? Not really?
- 13:59No, I don't try it, but I'm not a huge IPA. I'm a dark beer drinker.
- 14:03More or less and I like sweet stuff but I don't like IPAs I don't know they
- 14:07turn me off if it's super hoppy it's not my jam yeah IPA to me is like a girl who talks too much.
- 14:16You're trying to tell her something? No. I was like, you know you say yourself. I can go.
- 14:21I can go. No, not like that. You know, like, you know, I'm talking about like
- 14:24on your first date or something and she's just running her mouth.
- 14:27You're like, oh, my God, can I get a word in?
- 14:29Can I say something? Like, can I get a word in? And then she starts talking
- 14:32about her like ex or something.
- 14:34I'm like, oh, you went down that hole? That type of thing.
- 14:39That's an IPA. That's an IPA. That's an IPA, yeah. It is so many of them.
- 14:43That's what it is, too. There's a lot of them. There's a lot of them. See that?
- 14:47What do we got here, Alan? What did you pop open? I found some sours.
- 14:51Oh, you got to get rid of that. Oh, I got to finish this to get a refill. It's not like a new cup.
- 14:54No, we drink right out of that cup. We're doing one. This is one of the more
- 15:00favorites I like, but I think it's just because everyone likes blueberries.
- 15:02It's called Fluff Stuff.
- 15:04Fluff Stuff? Yep, so it's a blueberry sour and they use marshmallow.
- 15:06Oh, yeah. Great, great beer. Great beer. Yep.
- 15:10Oh, yeah. So anyway. So, Anna, you do have kits?
- 15:14I do. I have two kits. have two daughters awesome ten and seven wow they're
- 15:18the best they're also they talk a lot like they don't ever stop talking because
- 15:22they're little girls i don't know where they get it and they're real sassy oh
- 15:25girls don't know where they get it you know and i have two girls too they're
- 15:28grown women they're grown right wrong yeah and they're beautiful too how old are they,
- 15:33oh 29 and like 27 oh snap they're like are they friends yeah of course it's
- 15:39good they're like six footers too i believe that they're like super good looking
- 15:43young ladies yeah And then I'm talking about when they walk into the room, men just be like,
- 15:50Yeah. They can turn. You know, they got a lot of everything. You know, they just.
- 15:55Everything. You know, they, yeah, they do. They just, they, here's the best part.
- 16:01Sometimes, hey, you're in the background. Shut up.
- 16:05No, here's the good part. The good part is that whenever we go out,
- 16:09people think that they're my girlfriends.
- 16:11Oh, no. I love it. That you love it?
- 16:13You're like, no, they're daddy. That's weird. No, no, no. They're daddy,
- 16:16but you know what I mean. That got awkward.
- 16:19Daddy. Not that kind. Well, you know, I do it. I'm trying to cleanse my palate
- 16:23with my Stanley hair. I do a thing on my TikTok where I say,
- 16:27things that women shouldn't say and why women shouldn't be allowed in public.
- 16:31I'm familiar with that. I watch your.
- 16:33And that was one of them. This girl asked me if I wanted to be her daddy.
- 16:36I was like, that was so corny.
- 16:38It was so corny. I was like, did she just say that?
- 16:41But anyway, I'm out at a restaurant and some guy comes up to me and says,
- 16:46man, your girlfriend's beautiful.
- 16:48And I go, thanks, man. I appreciate that. No. And then my daughter goes, that's my dad.
- 16:54I'm like, he goes, really? He says, you guys kind of look like a couple.
- 16:58I was like, I still got it.
- 17:00Well, then you look just like a grade A creep right there. Like,
- 17:04you look like you should be one of the inmates, my man. Like,
- 17:06that's crazy. Hey, listen.
- 17:09I'm above, they're above age, you know?
- 17:12Although I have age range, you
- 17:14know? I would never deal like an 18-year-old. How old are you? I'm old.
- 17:20I always say I'm older than the sun, moon, and stars. Oh, okay.
- 17:25I'm not mature. I'm a tour. There you go.
- 17:33I'm a tour, Anna. I'm a tour. I'm very mature. I, uh, yeah.
- 17:39I set standards around here. Yeah. And these guys are married anyway.
- 17:42So, right, Paul, you're married?
- 17:44Oh, that one's good. That one's good, right? Oh, yeah. What are we drinking,
- 17:47Alan? What are we drinking? It's Fluff Stuff.
- 17:49Fluff Stuff. Fluff Stuff. What's in it, Alan? It's their blueberry fruited sour
- 17:52with marshmallow. It's always good.
- 17:54They have like a whole series of this. That's really good. I appreciate when
- 17:57Drucker would just make sours like this because it's one fruit and not a shit
- 18:02ton of different ones combined together.
- 18:04Well, they had this one. They have like an orange one. They have like a strawberry
- 18:07one, a great one. The one that's out right now is cranberry orange.
- 18:10It's a really good winter...
- 18:12But yeah, if they had a strawberry banana, they had every fucking flavor possible. Really? Yeah.
- 18:18So anyway. Yeah, I like this. It's good. Yeah. It's like a dessert. It is a dessert.
- 18:23So Anna, what are some of the foods we can expect to have at the Pork and Booty Share?
- 18:28It's a really good question. I don't know until they show up and I see them,
- 18:31but I'll tell you some of the restaurants that are going to be there.
- 18:33Oh, go for it. Let's do it. So there's 12.
- 18:35And then there's also Cashway, which does all of our bacon. They're our generous sponsor.
- 18:39Nice. So there's going to be lots of bacon on a plate. Wander around.
- 18:41VIP gets an early entrance to try everything soon and first before everything
- 18:46gets crazy in there, squirrely.
- 18:48Oh, yeah. There's a BLT bar for those guys.
- 18:50Doors open at three for them, five for general public.
- 18:54But there will be 12 restaurants plus Cashway, so 13. So come hungry.
- 18:58VIP's almost sold out. Nice. I was going to tell you some of the restaurants
- 19:02because now I'm drinking beer, so I can't rattle them off.
- 19:04It's just out of my head anymore. That's okay. You can look it up.
- 19:06You can look it up. You know what?
- 19:07The Walk, Little Bangkok, Melissa's Mobile Casino, Cashway. Ellie's Ivy Drafts
- 19:13Can At Inns Harry's Steakhouse Rumors Bar and Grill.
- 19:18Melissa's is right over there now too Oh yeah Jolly jalapeno It's gonna be good
- 19:22Happy camper Oh okay Manny just ate at Melissa's How was Melissa's Manny?
- 19:26Good It was pretty good Awesome What'd you have?
- 19:29Tacos Yeah tacos? Sweet Okay nice Last year I really like the walk Yeah And
- 19:36then I think drafts won right?
- 19:38Out of Crixton Yeah they did Jasmine and her husband are really good That place
- 19:42is awesome All of it's good And I usually don't like try a lot of it because,
- 19:46you know, I'm working, so I don't try the beer, obviously.
- 19:48Right. But if there's, like, you know, a good amount, nobody's going to run
- 19:50out, I might, like, go pick, like, one or two here or there. Yeah, yeah.
- 19:53And I feel like one year there was the bacon-wrapped jalapenos. Those were my favorite.
- 19:58I mean, the food's always been there. Yeah, that's my jam right there.
- 20:01Bacon-wrapped jalapenos.
- 20:02Oh, yeah. Cream cheese and them, like, yeah. Yeah, yeah. The one I don't understand,
- 20:06I think they would get into it besides Zoe's Ivy would be brick and barley.
- 20:09Oh, yeah, we should ask them. I mean, I'm sure we have asked them.
- 20:13They've done it. If they're listening. That's Nick and Sarah.
- 20:15Yeah, Nick and Sarah. Call out, call out.
- 20:17Nick and Sarah. Next year. I used to work for them back in the day when it was
- 20:21Gillies. Oh, okay. When it was really thug fun times. Oh, okay.
- 20:25And you could actually be the enforcer. Thug fun, thug fun.
- 20:29You could actually be an enforcer at the door as a bouncer. You could treat
- 20:34degenerate shitbags like shitbags should be treated.
- 20:37All right. If somebody wanted to make a mark there, they'd break out some deep fried pickles.
- 20:43Although this guy won't eat a pickle With pork around it Oh my god,
- 20:47pickles are gross What? I love pickles So what about that pickle beer?
- 20:52I don't like pickle beers Okay, well that's fine But have you made I've tried
- 20:58it You're the king of the brews I've tried it You're a good sport at least I'm
- 21:04a fan of Half Brothers Pickle Rickle,
- 21:08Pickle Pickle Pickle You know what? I'm not a fan. Picklebeer's gross.
- 21:12Although, I had a picklebeer from Oliphant.
- 21:15Strawberry pickle. Yeah, see, that actually worked for... It's a strawberry pickle.
- 21:19It was so good. Yeah, it was really good. It's weird because that was a TikTok
- 21:22trend, I think, that popped off.
- 21:24It was delicious. And I've only seen three breweries make this,
- 21:27and they were the one that had the best of the three. Right, right, right.
- 21:30So it's a pickled strawberry or it's a pickle and a strawberry?
- 21:33It's pickled brine and strawberry puree.
- 21:37Yeah. It was so good. The balance is you need to have more strawberry to balance
- 21:41out the tart of the pickle, but you've got to find the nice balance.
- 21:45But the fruit always has to be dominant because pickle brine is so acidic.
- 21:49Yes. So it like cuts the acidic. Yeah, and so you still get the sweet and the tart a little bit.
- 21:53I would try that. It was good. They did a good job. It's fucking weird how well
- 21:58it worked, but it's such a weird thing. Yeah.
- 22:00No, it worked perfectly. I loved it. I thought it was a great beer.
- 22:03They make it every year now, and it's usually at a Drekker Fest.
- 22:07It'll be at Junkyard too.
- 22:11It's yearly, but I don't think they'll bring it out for rare beer picnics.
- 22:15This year? No. I just know it's on the market as a thing. Yeah, absolutely.
- 22:19Yeah. So you'll never be the guy that's like got the Bush Light with the pickle
- 22:22spear in it at the bar? Absolutely not.
- 22:25It's like North Dakota. No, I'm sorry. Bush Light is beneath me.
- 22:28I am too, I'm bougie. They're going to call. I am a bougie crap beer drinker.
- 22:32The refs are going to call from Bush Light.
- 22:34Really? They're going to be like, this is blasphemy. Change my mind.
- 22:37Change my mind, Bush Light. Here's the thing. I will go head to head with the
- 22:41guys from Dakota Sales because I love Scott and all them, the Keefers.
- 22:44Yeah. But I will fuck with Scott all the time because he knows him and I go
- 22:48to, him and I just shoot the shit with each other. Yeah.
- 22:50And it's funny because he knows where he is and I'm like, he's just a good guy
- 22:56for sport, but he, he's a big, he's a big gym rat. That's all right.
- 23:00Paul, man, what's going on with you today? Yeah.
- 23:02Oh, man, I got that shot in my neck two days ago, and then today I worked my
- 23:06back. Apparently, it takes like two weeks for it to kick in.
- 23:08You know, I got that epidural for my pinched nerve. What's with the shades?
- 23:11Who are you? Like 007 or something like that? Dude, this light is like right in my eyes.
- 23:15Are you agent craft brew beer guys? I don't know what it is.
- 23:19Like, somebody who, it would probably be me because this is my studio,
- 23:22but yeah, that light is like directly in my face.
- 23:25Okay, all right. It's fun there. You should talk to the boss about that light.
- 23:29Yeah, right? You've got to talk to somebody.
- 23:30Literally, I just took these off, and all I see right now is spots.
- 23:33Oh, no. You guys trying to be like Piggy Smalls? I thought he was trying to
- 23:35be like Piggy Smalls. Oh, yeah.
- 23:37Yeah. Oh, here. Hold on. Well, he is kind of pink, right? Oh,
- 23:40and the chain? Yeah, he's kind of. Yeah. You look kind of pink,
- 23:42too. Yeah, I know, right?
- 23:46That's funny as hell. No, no, I get it. I get it. No, I was wondering.
- 23:49I was like, why is he wearing shades? Mm-hmm.
- 23:50And you're not as chatty as you normally are. What's going on with you?
- 23:53Yeah, just in pain, man. You're in pain? Yeah. Wow, this is what it takes to get you to be quiet.
- 23:59No, it's because you have an IPA. Like, the girls that talk too much,
- 24:01you've got me in here. So you probably can't.
- 24:04It's my fault. I'm the problem. That's okay. You know what? It's okay.
- 24:06See that? All we got to do is bring Anna more. You'd be quiet.
- 24:11There you go. I like it. Anyway, well, okay, Alan just poured more beer.
- 24:14He's always pouring beer, Anna. Be prepared.
- 24:17So the one thing I would like to. The moment you move on and you finish, he's on it. Oh, I know.
- 24:22I was behind you guys. And I just have to keep getting my emotional support,
- 24:25Stanley. to like cleanse my palate. Your water, yes.
- 24:28See? So the one thing I want to say about that pickle thing is that trend might
- 24:32actually pick up more traction than you think this year. Like a lot of breweries
- 24:35are going to do pickle beers.
- 24:37That's okay. You know, at Fork and Brew, you think we'll see some?
- 24:40In general around the nation because that pickle thing has picked up wildly.
- 24:43Why hasn't Bush Light done it? Bush Light pickle.
- 24:46So I was waiting for them to do it because why wouldn't they?
- 24:49Why wouldn't they do it? They did something. What was the one they did this
- 24:50year? It was disgusting.
- 24:51It was, so they released Apple, Peach, and they did Lime. Lime,
- 24:55yeah. Lime, I think, was the one I tried. And I was like, this is bad.
- 24:58It was gross. It was gross.
- 24:59It was like gasoline. I was like, I don't want this.
- 25:02Well, now Keystone finally had jumped on that train. Now they're doing a Keystone Apple coming.
- 25:06That'll be released to the nation in a few months. Just because Bush Light Apple has done so well.
- 25:12Hey, you think Bush Light is beneath me? Keystone is like the bottom of my foot.
- 25:17Oh, when that whole Bud Light thing came out, I tried to switch to Keystone
- 25:21because I think Bush Light is actually owned by Bud Light. Right. Yep.
- 25:25And I tried Keystone. Oh, God, it was like sucking on a wet sock.
- 25:30Wait, don't you need a frame of reference for that?
- 25:34Just wondering. No, Keystone. You're witty. Anna's on it, bro. Anna's on it.
- 25:41You're invited all the time now. Thank you. You're in. You're a brother.
- 25:44I'm a brother. You're a brother. Don't be a brother. You're a brother. That's right.
- 25:51Ladies and gentlemen, introducing white chocolate. Oh, snap.
- 25:56That's right. White chocolate. Right there. Is that me? White chocolate.
- 25:58White chocolate. Anna's now white chocolate.
- 26:00I thought it was going to be more like Lemon Shaniqua because that was my name
- 26:02in like eighth grade. Lemon Shaniqua.
- 26:04Wow. I'll take white chocolate. No, white chocolate. Let me take your white
- 26:06chocolate. You don't have the snaps you're shipping. I don't.
- 26:09I don't. That's it. That's it.
- 26:11You know also i always tell the guys they always
- 26:14laugh so my kids my kids are i have
- 26:17a two daughters and one son so my my oldest
- 26:20daughter i was married to her mom i got married when
- 26:23i was 18 i don't know what i was thinking i was yeah i got i got married and
- 26:26went straight to straight to college like the following summer weird or july
- 26:30i got married in july went to college in california in august and my wife was
- 26:35in law school in New York and I was living in California in college where anyway.
- 26:40Sounds like the perfect marriage. Yeah.
- 26:44See, again, good thing your wife doesn't listen to me. But anyway,
- 26:49I always tell the guys all the time, I said, so I had one daughter with my ex-wife
- 26:54and I had two kids with my kid's mom in Winnipeg. She's Jamaican.
- 27:00So my black girl quota is up. I'm good.
- 27:05I no longer date black girls. I'm strictly white girls.
- 27:08You just said white guys. Yeah.
- 27:11You did. I'm so glad you caught that too.
- 27:13You have a frame of reference. I still move my words.
- 27:17You guys know damn well I don't think guys. I mean, if you put a wig on it,
- 27:20it could be white chicks.
- 27:22Yeah, white chicks. Go, go. You're going to have a frame of reference,
- 27:24man. So he's just white guys, I guess.
- 27:27White guys for Shannon. All right. It's going to be all over Facebook.
- 27:31All over Facebook tomorrow. All these guys are going to come out of the woodwork. I know, right?
- 27:36Oh, I'm going to find that time. I'm going to cut that time stamp,
- 27:39and I'm going to send it to Alan. Oh, fuck yeah.
- 27:44Ready? Watch this.
- 27:46Gretchen. Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:50You want to go there? She's a lovely lady. You want to go there?
- 27:53You don't have any recordings of that. I might.
- 27:56Worst thing I ever did. New Year's Eve. We're at... Is it New Year's?
- 27:59No. It's Manny's going away party.
- 28:01He's still here, though. You know what? That's another thing.
- 28:04That's another show. That's right. That's another show. That's another show
- 28:08within itself. That was its own chaos. Manny will be going away.
- 28:10He just didn't leave yet. Okay.
- 28:12But so we're at Manny's going away party at the tap room. and we see this guy.
- 28:18Thing. No, I don't say thing. Be nice.
- 28:21Be nice. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Before Paul says anything else.
- 28:24Paul, I'm going to get out next to you. Hold on.
- 28:26Okay. The thoughts and views expressed by Paul do not necessarily reflect those of the Brew Brothers.
- 28:32Viewer discretion is advised. You know what I'm saying? Because Paul says some
- 28:35things that are really outrageous.
- 28:37So Gretchen, who is a guy who is transformation to a female.
- 28:42Okay. Who has also, he also has breasts.
- 28:45Okay. And he has a beard. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Okay. And he was wearing a really pretty dress. Sure.
- 28:50Okay. Right? And was sitting at tap room. Mm-hmm. And somehow we turn around
- 28:55and Paul is over there speaking with Gretchen. Okay. He's having a conversation.
- 29:01Yeah. No shame. No. He seems like a nice person.
- 29:04And Paul's talking to Gretchen. And I didn't get a picture.
- 29:07I should have gotten a picture. I'm so mad that I didn't get a picture because
- 29:11I could have used that over his head forever. Oh.
- 29:15However, Gretchen was there on her birthday. She had a little birthday's.
- 29:18What do they call it? Birthday sash on. Birthday sash on. And then it was her
- 29:22birthday when none of her friends showed up for her birthday.
- 29:25Oh, no. That's terrible.
- 29:26Good for you for hanging out with Gretchen. Yeah, and I actually had a plan
- 29:29behind this, too, because when Gretchen showed back up to shoot up the place,
- 29:32I was going to be the only person that was going to be saved.
- 29:35The only story. You are dark.
- 29:37You're real dark. He's very dark.
- 29:39You're real dark. That's fire. Gretchen in a club. Shoot for what?
- 29:42What are you going to say, Manny? Hey.
- 29:46We can't see. You got to bend down. How the fuck do you know that it was a he or she?
- 29:51Well, it goes by Gretchen.
- 29:55So he identifies as a female, but I guess at one time he was a male.
- 30:00I don't know. He's checking the dipstick.
- 30:03Hold on. I'm not going to lose my job for today's comments, so I'll just be
- 30:07quiet. No comment. Hold on. We got one for him, too. Stark.
- 30:11I can't help it. We all run on Alan time. Yeah, it's Alan time.
- 30:15It's Alan time. He says stuff like that.
- 30:17For these two guys, you got to have buttons because they're under eye control.
- 30:20We should get a Manny button too. Probably.
- 30:24But, you know, hey, you go get a Manny, a Petty, that's a good one, right?
- 30:29We all get pedicures together, all the guys. You really do? I got better feet than you.
- 30:33No, you don't. My feet are way better. My feet are way better.
- 30:35All the chit chons should be, how's your chon?
- 30:38If you had better feet, you'd have OnlyFans, but I don't see this money.
- 30:42I do have better feet than you do. We just shoot a girl's at.
- 30:44OnlyFans doesn't improve. I only went there that one time because I couldn't
- 30:47get into Aiden's nails, but that was Angel Nails. So you guys go to Angel.
- 30:50Yeah. That's where that crazy girl was that, you know, that I was overhearing
- 30:54and I was like, I wanted to lay in traffic. She's talking about Huss.
- 30:58Oh, she didn't meet me. I met her, though. I heard her talk for 45 minutes.
- 31:02You met Nene? It is brutal.
- 31:04We're going to abort that mission. No comment. No comment. We're going to abort
- 31:07that mission. But she met Huss and Eklund.
- 31:11I did not meet them. I just overheard them. Yeah, you seem to be chit-chatting.
- 31:15Oh, yeah. And, you know, you know. Damn. You know how it is. Yeah. Yeah.
- 31:19We'll just fall back. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What happened in Vegas?
- 31:22Stay in Vegas, you know. What happened in Vegas? Stay in Vegas.
- 31:25So what did we drink last, Alan? What was that? So we just crushed this blueberry
- 31:28cobbler, the Slang DuJour series from Drecker.
- 31:30I was going to say, you know what this reminds me of? You ever had a Warhead candy? Yeah. Yeah.
- 31:35Tastes like Warhead. Honestly. Oh, but not a sour. Like when you get the ick
- 31:38off the top, you know, the first layer.
- 31:40Yeah, that like candle wax. Yes.
- 31:43Yeah. I'm cool with this because at least they didn't overdo it with the cinnamon
- 31:46on there. So we, this is just the craziest thing. You guys do need a woman around here? Yeah.
- 31:50So we just put a dark stout into the fluff, into this, and we're just like raw dogging these.
- 31:58We're just raw dogging these cups. This is like full of purple flowers or whatever.
- 32:04Isn't that how life goes?
- 32:05You just have raw dog life? we're just going through like raw dung in life I
- 32:09mean we have no shame in our game we're a mixed nation of flavors here yeah
- 32:14I guess I'm going to keep my emotional support cup in the day,
- 32:18that's okay Anna got her little water cup are you sitting there for Paul?
- 32:24Paul's in pain today because he's quiet as hell I told you on the phone I knew
- 32:27there was something wrong yeah I knew there was something wrong Paul yes Paul's definitely.
- 32:32No I'm fine I'm just teasing I knew something was going on with Paul I just
- 32:36had to shame you guys a little bit about your dirty cups. You know how guys
- 32:38are. We don't care about cups.
- 32:40No, no. A cup can be sitting in our house for like three or four days.
- 32:43We just horse that man to it. Oh, I can't do that. I'm not him.
- 32:46An old coffee cup was just resident from yesterday's coffee.
- 32:50He don't wash his coffee cup. No, no.
- 32:51I can't do that. I got to wash my other. Listen, Anna, my little apartment,
- 32:54you could wash, you could eat off the floors that clean. I'm a very clean person. Yeah.
- 32:58No, I'm serious. I'm a clean person. I don't joke around when it comes to like cleaning.
- 33:03I'm a neat freak. I am. I'm a neat freak. I'm just, as I'm looking at the residue
- 33:07in these cups that we're like, yeah, cheer.
- 33:09You know what? So maybe here we get a little dirty, but at home, I'm clean.
- 33:13So since we are the nation of flavor right now. What is this,
- 33:15Alan? What is this? We just drank a chonk.
- 33:18A chonk-a-chonk-a-chonk series. Okay. Which one is this? This is a Neapolitan,
- 33:21a Sunday sour. Oh. Yeah. Is that you?
- 33:23That's it? Yeah, that's you. That's Paul, right? Paul. Paul? Take a little bit.
- 33:27I'll take it. Drink a little bit out of it. What are you drinking over there?
- 33:31Sierra Nevada's Pils. I fucking, that is. I'm from Nevada. Sierra Nevada,
- 33:35that is my favorite right now because it's a Pilsner.
- 33:38It's a nice light beer, but it's the first, it's, they've made a Pilsner that's
- 33:42actually marketable that they released nationwide. Yeah. It's great.
- 33:46What do you think it is beer? Okay. This is really interesting.
- 33:48Like you can taste the chocolate. It's definitely Neapolitan.
- 33:51I don't know if, I mean, just a little sample is all you need.
- 33:54It's like a little sweet treat. What is this? Neapolitan. It's pretty good actually.
- 34:00Is Drecker going to be here too? Yeah. You know what? Courtney will,
- 34:04Courtney more than likely will be there for that one.
- 34:06But I'm trying really hard to get the brewer, the guy who makes all the beer.
- 34:09Yes. Trying to get him on the show.
- 34:10Oh, that'd be good. Are you talking about Matt? Yeah, Matt. Matt's awesome.
- 34:13There's another guy. There's another guy that brews beer at Drecker.
- 34:17Yeah. I told you guys, I met him years ago.
- 34:20He's from Arizona. Okay. So Drecker went to Arizona to get this guy to move
- 34:25from Arizona to North Dakota. Right. His name is Mikal.
- 34:29Mikal. M-I-K-A-L. Okay. And now he's been living in North Dakota for probably
- 34:34like eight years, nine years.
- 34:36Brewing beer. Yeah, brewing beer. He's a really good brewer.
- 34:39He worked in a place called The Shop out in Arizona.
- 34:42A great, great place for beer. Yeah. It was in Tempe, Arizona.
- 34:46Oh, yeah, okay. Great place. I love Tempe, yeah. So, and I told you this too.
- 34:49So, for Drecker, one of the brewers or one of the co-owners,
- 34:54so Miles, you bet you got, is one of the brothers of Drecker. Oh, really? Yeah.
- 34:59Okay what's his name and we missed we missed the boat on that
- 35:01so my staff my team will tell you all the time he's hilarious same
- 35:04with charlie barnes yes and we should have we should have tried to
- 35:07get the you betcha guy at pork and brew five years ago same with dude before
- 35:11he blew up yeah and we screwed up so if he's out there listening if you guys
- 35:15if he's on your followers list i've we got to get him to pork and brew you betcha
- 35:19guy yes so i went to so drecker had a like a three guys switch it well.
- 35:26Which one? On the top left. No, keep going to your left, to your left, to your left. Up, up.
- 35:30So left? Yeah, so just turn it to the right. And then, no, not that far. Just one click.
- 35:35Yeah. Right there? Can you hear me? No. Right there? You can hear me there? Yes.
- 35:40Okay, and then if you go one up, then it'll be Manny. Should be anyway. Yeah.
- 35:44I can hit you now. Yeah, I can hit you now. Okay. So you guys all really go
- 35:48get pedicures together. What's up? One, two.
- 35:51I've had an issue trying to grow them and I'm a biter.
- 35:56We're talking about pedicure is your feet. You're biting your toes?
- 35:59Oh, no, I can't do it. I don't stretch that well. That'd be funny if he's biting his toes.
- 36:02I was like, you guys really got to get pedicures together and he goes,
- 36:05oh, no, I'm a biter and he does this. I'm like, are you biting your toes?
- 36:08Pedicure is toes. Look at these. These are sexies, you know.
- 36:11Yeah, I get my nose. Oh, I don't know about yours, but.
- 36:15My hands I don't get done as much in the wintertime. But sometimes you get your
- 36:19hands done, too. Of course. It could be a manicure. Hell yeah.
- 36:22My bad. Alan's over here chewing on his toenails. He's like,
- 36:25I'm a biter. That's why I don't get pedicures. What?
- 36:27Yeah. Alan doesn't come with us usually. He's always busy doing something else. Man things?
- 36:32Yeah. I don't know. Alan, he has like a thousand dogs at home. Yeah. Yeah.
- 36:36Animals. His wife is a... Journey home animal rescue. Journey home.
- 36:39Yeah. Go ahead. I didn't put that together.
- 36:41Yeah. Yeah. That's good. That's cool. So he has like tons of animals to take
- 36:44care of. Yeah. Responsibility.
- 36:46You guys are just having a spa day. The rest of you. Yeah. I love my wife,
- 36:48but she uses our house as a fucking house for animals. Pet sanctuary? Yeah.
- 36:53You got lots of animals. But they're so good to us at the O'Leary Center.
- 36:56They'll bring their pets in that are adoptable, which makes me want to take them all home.
- 36:59Well, and that's what I was going to ask you because I know you guys have done
- 37:03stuff with them because I know they've always...
- 37:05Had, I don't know, they're not big events, but they're just good size events
- 37:08there. Right, yep. But I know there's a lot of animals they get.
- 37:12Adopted from there. And we do like staff parties. We're like a really utopian
- 37:16society in our office culture. It's a little silly.
- 37:19But we'll bring like the puppies in to like play with. Do you have any animals
- 37:23at home or not? I have a geriatric dog. Her name's Dolce.
- 37:26I did not name her that, so don't judge me. This was like college,
- 37:29Anna. That's fancy. Dolce.
- 37:30I'm waiting for her to cross that rainbow bridge. She's 15. Oh,
- 37:34she's ready to go. She's a little Pomeranian. She's a white little fluffy Pomeranian.
- 37:37She's in great shape still.
- 37:38She's got one eye, missing all her teeth. Oh, wow.
- 37:40She's going to the bathroom in my house lately. I'm like, oh,
- 37:42bitch. And this is a brand new construction house. I'm like, you got to go.
- 37:45I keep saying to my kids, like, honey, this is her last Christmas. Time to go, yeah.
- 37:50For five years, my kids are like, you keep saying it's her last Christmas,
- 37:52but she's still hanging on. I'm like, yes, honey, but it's time for her to cross
- 37:56the Rainbow Bridge. It's time to go.
- 37:57Has she gone to a lot of vet visits? No, she's actually really healthy.
- 38:00That's the problem. That bitch is going to live for like another five years.
- 38:02Wow. She's going to outlive you guys.
- 38:04And then I have a cat too. Her name's Chloe. She's a, we call her Clozifer.
- 38:07Clozifer, why? Yeah, she's just not that nice. She's like a black little tuxedo
- 38:10cat. She's kind of mean. What you need? What you need?
- 38:13Can you hear me now? Yeah. I was going to say, I had the exact same thing.
- 38:16I had a 15-year-old husky, totally healthy, but just would walk around and just shit.
- 38:21Didn't even know it was shitting. Right. We're like, why are we shitting?
- 38:23Why are we shitting right now? Do you know how many times I would have to pick
- 38:25up little Tootsie Rolls off my floor? Uh-uh. Yeah.
- 38:28The Soros wiping it, like so mad. Yeah. The dog was super happy taking it to
- 38:32the vet to go get killed, you know?
- 38:35And I'm like, the dog's perfectly fine. He just can't hold his shit in.
- 38:38And I'm not going to put a diaper on it. Okay. So I bought diapers.
- 38:40I haven't really used them. What diapers? I bought, like, dog diapers.
- 38:43I'm like, what am I going to do with it? Like, this is a brand new house.
- 38:45I want it to smell like new construction, man. It's a year old. Like, come on.
- 38:48And that dog, she's, like, ruining it. I'm selfish. I'm selfish.
- 38:52And I don't want no animals and nothing. I want to be able to travel and do
- 38:55what the hell I want to do when I want to do it. Yeah.
- 38:57You know what I mean? I don't want no responsibilities but me.
- 39:01Right. Well, it makes sense. My neighbors, I think, think I run,
- 39:03like, a trap house because there's, I travel a lot for work.
- 39:07And there is a different car every day coming to, like, take care of my pets.
- 39:10It's too many, like, friends, random, like, just coming into my house, taking care of pets.
- 39:13And I'm like, they're probably like, what is going on over there?
- 39:15That's okay. That's the fifth car this week. You know what? If you got friends
- 39:18that help you out, why not?
- 39:20I think that's cool. But she's 15. It's time to go. Yeah, it's time to go,
- 39:23you know. Peacefully interstate, I hope. I've been there.
- 39:26I've had the 5,000 square foot home, three acres.
- 39:30I've had all that. I don't want that responsibility no more.
- 39:34I'm over it. Like, I don't know what it is, but it's a lot of work.
- 39:38Yeah, it is. And this bitch is deaf, too. so we call her helen keller she's
- 39:41blind in one eye like helen keller it's okay to go you're taking on for us honey
- 39:47you've had a good life bam you could put her in one of those little fake flying
- 39:52planes oh shit and just send her on her way that's my kids would be so mad,
- 39:57they're like mommy don't don't put her to sleep i'm like guys i would never,
- 40:01But, like, until this, it's time. We can get rid of her if you want,
- 40:04you know. Oh, my gosh. We're going to have a conspiracy. My kids aren't watching
- 40:07this. They're not on social media.
- 40:09We can get rid of the dog, you know. I mean, it is what it is.
- 40:13Sometimes dogs fall and trip.
- 40:17You forgot that. Oh, it's bad. Yeah, we're bad. We're bad. We're so bad.
- 40:21What are we drinking at, Alan? Alan's always pouring beer. Damn, that's good. Yeah.
- 40:25What's that? What's that? We did the perc. I'm so full. How do you guys drink
- 40:28all these beers? The perc.
- 40:30It's a peach drink. This is just drinking water. He's trying to cleanse my palate
- 40:33so I can get the full profile of all these beers.
- 40:36He's cleansing her palate. This is a peach ring candy sour.
- 40:40It's a grand folk thing, you know what I'm saying?
- 40:44I feel like I'm being picked on here and I don't like it. Oh, you started it.
- 40:49I'm just kidding. Man, he's sitting in for Paul now because Paul's...
- 40:53For some strange reason. This is pain. I told you when I heard the tone of light.
- 40:57Yeah. He said that. He said that when I was talking to you on the phone when
- 40:59I called you. I knew there was something wrong. When I called you on the phone,
- 41:01he said, uh, what's wrong with him? He doesn't sound the same.
- 41:05That's what he said on the phone. Yeah. The Pichos. What's this called, Alan?
- 41:08Pert-O's. It's a peach ring. Is that what we're like? The Pichos candies? Oh.
- 41:12It does. It tastes exactly like the. Yeah. It does. That's crazy.
- 41:16Isn't it crazy how to get that right?
- 41:17I don't even really like those candies, to be honest. so I wouldn't go out of
- 41:21my way to drink that? Yeah, it's Peach O's. It's the Ciaz.
- 41:24Damn, you got a crazy beer around here, man. It tastes exactly like a Peachtree.
- 41:28Like even the waxy little aftertaste. Okay, all right. You know what?
- 41:32Drekker. Low-key you like it, huh? Low-key Drekker.
- 41:35I was never really a big fan of Drekker. I give them a lot of shit.
- 41:39They have grown on me so much. They make some good beer. Let me see that one
- 41:42quick. They make some good beer.
- 41:43I got a ticket to pick. They make some good beer.
- 41:46This guy right here, he used to drink shit beer too before he met me.
- 41:49What beer did you drink? What did you drink all the time?
- 41:53Don't worry about it. Yeah, he drank shit beer before he met me.
- 41:56I introduced him to craft beer. King of beer.
- 41:58Yeah, king of beer. He's a Budweiser. Heavy? Bud heavy? Red can?
- 42:01Oh, man. Not anymore. Not anymore, though. He's like, give me an IPA.
- 42:05When we go to the store, he's like, give me some, I don't need a dark beer.
- 42:08He loves the Breckenridge vanilla.
- 42:10Yeah. He loves that now. You fancy now. Fancy now. I'm always fancy.
- 42:14No, you're not. I just never got into dish with, you know, beer.
- 42:17Then who's this Tupac guy?
- 42:20Who's that? The fuck is your problem, man? It's a king, man.
- 42:24What? It's not fucking Jay-Z and 50 Cent, you know? No, no, no.
- 42:27I'm a Biggie. I'm Biggie.
- 42:28If it's a gun to my head, Tupac or Biggie, it's Biggie, right?
- 42:31Listen, I'm Tupac. I'm from Brooklyn.
- 42:34Jay-Z's the best, and then Biggie's next. That's it. That's just how it is.
- 42:38The only one that's better than... I'm a real New Yorker.
- 42:41What the fuck am I? I'm from New York City. Listen to that accent.
- 42:43What the fuck am I? I'm from New York City. He's from Rochester.
- 42:45He's from upstate New York. Oh, the fancy upstate. I'm still your boss. Bougie.
- 42:50You're bougie. You guys are bougie upstate. You guys are bougie.
- 42:52I'm still your boss. We argue about this all the time. I'm still your boss.
- 42:55He thinks 50 Cent is the best. 50 Cent is the greatest.
- 42:59Oh, no, but he's great, but he's petty. Like, how many years are you?
- 43:01I love that. I love it. He's a smart guy. I have the troll mentality. There you go.
- 43:05Shut the fuck up now. What?
- 43:08No, no. You know what? The 50 Cent. Hey, I'm a Leo like you.
- 43:11I'm petty like 50 Cent. I'm the real. Hey, hey, hey. By the way,
- 43:13I'm the real Leo. I'm the real Leo.
- 43:16If you're the real Leo, you would show off your African tattoo.
- 43:20Because his birthday is in August. My birthday is in August.
- 43:23But I'm a real Leo. So you say he's a real Leo. See, one of my kids is a Leo, too.
- 43:28Wait, was it true, Paul? Said everybody knows Diddy is the best. Wow.
- 43:32I don't think you can sit down. Hold on. This is the final one.
- 43:35Those interviews expressed by Paul do not necessarily reflect those of the Brew Brothers.
- 43:40Viewer discretion is advised. We don't, we don't, no Diddy around here.
- 43:44And the last episode of the Brew Brothers was 73. Yeah, 73.
- 43:49No Diddy around here. Are canceled.
- 43:51Yeah, no Diddy around here. What are you thinking of? What are you thinking
- 43:53of that whole Puff Daddy stuff? I don't know enough about it, but it's terrible.
- 43:57It's terrible. So you want to know? True story. So you tell me.
- 44:01Terrible. True story. P.E.D.'s bad. No, I've been to a Puff Daddy party.
- 44:06Oh, no. I'm a New Yorker. I know Puff.
- 44:08I've been to Puff Daddy parties. I was at the- They all grew up together.
- 44:12Yeah. Is there anything in this that I should worry about? Oh,
- 44:14shit. Oh, shit. You're right, too.
- 44:17I've been over here just drinking this, but if I start slurring, guys- No, no.
- 44:21It's a P.E. Daddy party. I used to go to the D-Ditty party, my pup, dad, I went to pub.
- 44:26Daddy parties where there was in public. There was like in like gymnasiums.
- 44:30There was in clubs. Gymnasiums. Yeah.
- 44:32Play a little racquetball. No, no, no. And when I say gymnasiums,
- 44:36they had like in New York City, we have parties that like when the city college
- 44:40have a party, they have it in a gymnasium because they didn't have a place to
- 44:43have it. It's like a little high school prom. So it's innocent is what you're saying.
- 44:46It's pretty much. I mean, back then it was a Puff Daddy party.
- 44:49See, I know Puff Daddy. Not P. Diddy. I don't know P. Diddy. He changed.
- 44:54He definitely changed. You know, and I can say, I can honestly say,
- 44:58like, if I saw him today, you know, we know each other.
- 45:02You can't act like we don't know each other, but I don't think I would say hello.
- 45:05Well, I hope that you guys wouldn't run into each other unless he's,
- 45:07you know, unless you're the jailer and he's the correctional.
- 45:10Well, when he gets out, when he gets out, I'll probably, you know,
- 45:12run across him, you know, never know. That's crazy.
- 45:15He's kind of like the black Epstein. Yes. I was just going to say that.
- 45:18I was like, hey, Epstein's bad. P. Diddy's bad.
- 45:21Release the files. It's all bad. I can't help. Women's rights. They both have some.
- 45:25They both have so much shit of a stacked file.
- 45:28Oh, my God. I don't know what's going on here in this world.
- 45:30This is not a PC podcast. Nobody warned me. No.
- 45:34We go all over. We go all over. We go everywhere. If we'll be PC,
- 45:38we'll take it back to Anne and be like, so events for this year.
- 45:43Yeah, right? We go back. Yeah.
- 45:46So what else is happening? We don't have any Diddy events coming this way,
- 45:49but what other good events happened? Hey, one of my favorite events,
- 45:52I went to the first one last year.
- 45:54The PBR. The PBR. Oh, my God. I had so much fun watching that.
- 45:58That was so cool. Like, I'm from New York City. We don't do bulls and stuff.
- 46:01You've never seen bulls? Nah.
- 46:03It's cool, cool. Is this all mine? Yeah. No, no. How about now?
- 46:06Yeah, yeah, yeah. Question.
- 46:08Because, like, you know, I've seen that thrown MMA at the Alaris,
- 46:12but they always put them in, like, the ballroom. The ballrooms. Yes, yep.
- 46:15Can the Alaris get an actual, like, pro UFC fight in the main event?
- 46:20Honestly, those have been pretty exclusive to, like, major markets.
- 46:23So I have not heard of any secondary tertiaries where they're doing anything that's televised.
- 46:28So I would love to. Like we're always.
- 46:31Or like a fight, like a fight night. Not a big, not a car.
- 46:34What if we start a campaign for it? Let's do it.
- 46:38I'm all in. I'll always make the most aggressive deal in the Dakotas.
- 46:41Like we'll get creative. We'll get weird. But it's just not something that's
- 46:44been like out. That's an option.
- 46:45Like we're on booking calls all the time. That's not even one that I.
- 46:47Because the ballroom is cool, but it's hard to, it's hard to see.
- 46:50Right. Right. And actually, I don't know which one you went to.
- 46:53We did a couple down there, and then no disrespect for that promoter,
- 46:56but it got a little squirrely, so we had to reschedule.
- 46:59And I was like, okay, if you want to reschedule again, we're just going to cancel
- 47:01it because we're not doing a place. We did a Brew Brothers there,
- 47:03and we were supposed to be ringside, and all of a sudden, we were in the back
- 47:06corner looking at the projector.
- 47:07The one with Casey. His brother's a fighter on the throne. Okay,
- 47:11yeah. And that was a good one. It was a good show. It was a great show.
- 47:15However, I don't think that they—and we were partners on one of them,
- 47:19and we weren't partners on the other, and I don't know which one it is.
- 47:21So we get a little bit more say if we're on the side of the deal where,
- 47:23you know, we're all putting it in the pot, the revenues and expenses.
- 47:26I don't like, I love the ballroom and I love the atmosphere because it's really
- 47:29like loud. It's crazy. I didn't like the AV. I thought we could have done a better job.
- 47:35So if you were in the back, you could see better. I think when they were on
- 47:38the ground in the ring, you're like, I can't even see this.
- 47:41And I don't like that experience. How many people can see that?
- 47:44Well, in the arena, we can do a concert up to 25,000 if we have a GA floor,
- 47:48like 18,500 if it's seated. And then in the ballrooms, we can do like 1,800 up to 2,000.
- 47:54You know what? We're going to go in a campaign at Dana White saying we want
- 47:58a UFC and great folks know what to call it.
- 48:00Yeah. I mean, my cousin did a main event in Kansas City. Yeah.
- 48:03He has a cousin that fights in the UFC.
- 48:05Yeah. It's Cousin David. Yeah. Yeah. Let's do it. I love it.
- 48:08No, I think we should do it. I think we should do it. What do you got to say,
- 48:11Paul? Turn up the computer volume.
- 48:13Oh, this one. Yeah. I got something for you. Ready? Ready. Go.
- 48:18Oh, what's that? Super nice guy. Support Snapchat. Oh, what?
- 48:23All right. Anyway, this is part of the show where we go on the sports,
- 48:27Anna. You know, we talk about the UFC.
- 48:30How'd you like that? That was pretty cool, man. UFC 324 is happening tomorrow
- 48:34on Saturday. It's in Las Vegas.
- 48:37The headline is a Patty Pimblit and Justin Gaethje. Justin Gaethje is a really
- 48:42popular fighter from Colorado.
- 48:45And Patty Pimblit is from Liverpool. My cousin and brother will be both there,
- 48:48too. I spoke to them. They're coming out. Yeah, he's an English guy.
- 48:52He speaks like a- Yes. Yes, but he's a scouser.
- 48:56And so he always says, I'm a scouser. We don't get knocked out. We knock people out.
- 49:02He's always talking like that. That got a little Chinese there.
- 49:05Was that a touch one? It's like Chinese. I don't know what the hell they talk.
- 49:07Because their neighbor. I don't know what they talk.
- 49:09Is it because their neighbor? I don't think their neighbor.
- 49:12I don't know. Last time I saw a map. Liverpool, China, not neighbors.
- 49:15Not even close to each other.
- 49:17I don't know. I don't know. Hey, somehow, man. You never know.
- 49:20Is Manny's going away party that, you know, he's still here.
- 49:23But like, if he's going away, is it back to school?
- 49:26Because I want to get the man a globe. Well, I don't get globe.
- 49:30But no, my job is secret. So we don't talk about it a lot.
- 49:34Yeah, he's a low-key secret agent. But yeah. So we do a big party for him at
- 49:40work because we work together.
- 49:41Okay. We do a big party for him at work. And I guess, you know,
- 49:43sometime when he's going away, his mission got canceled.
- 49:48Oh, okay. So then he's like, what should I do? I'm like, well,
- 49:52just come back to work. bro.
- 49:53Right. Because they want me to wait around for a month. Yeah.
- 49:56So his other job wasn't just sit and wait. Right. Still getting paid,
- 50:00but he's sitting and wait. He's like, he might as well get double paid. Right. Exactly.
- 50:03Yeah. So he came back to work. So everybody at work has jokes for him all day. I bet.
- 50:08They're all, they're all saying, they're all saying, Hey rookie.
- 50:11Because he's new now. I'm not new.
- 50:13Yeah. You're like the new guy. They think I'm the new guy. I'm still me.
- 50:17I'm still legend. It's hilarious.
- 50:20It's hilarious. What do you do? You know, I called the sheriff and he's the boss. It's me and him.
- 50:28Andy's a pretty nice guy. He is, yeah.
- 50:31He's saying what you got to say. It's new, but what we share,
- 50:35we keep it ourselves. Andy goes, we'll take you back. We'll take you back.
- 50:39That sounded like a pity moment. You're going to be the rookie.
- 50:43No, but everybody has jokes with him. All the young kids, we got a lot of young
- 50:47kids that work at our job.
- 50:48They're between 20 and 25. 25.
- 50:52Can you imagine being in jail and he's 20 to 25 year olds, a bossing your old
- 50:57ass around? I can't imagine being in jail.
- 50:59I wouldn't hang, guys. I'm a little more high maintenance than that.
- 51:02I don't think I could make it. Oh, yeah.
- 51:03Michelle's mean. I don't think I could make it. I'm glad I got that out of my system.
- 51:06Wait, you see this guy right here? You said I'm mean? How am I mean?
- 51:10That's so scary. I would never last. Anna, I had to spend the weekend in jail.
- 51:14Okay. How am I mean? What's this bitch's name? Hey, it's Anna.
- 51:18It's white chocolate. White chocolate to you. White chocolate.
- 51:21We drink white chocolate. Our coffee is always white. Yeah. No,
- 51:24no, no. I'm just kidding.
- 51:27So the running joke at work, I always put a lot of cream in my coffee. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 51:31And then I always say to my co-workers, I like my coffee how I like my white.
- 51:36Like, yes. White. And they be like, oh, okay.
- 51:40Yeah, whatever. Shell. Go. But he's mean at work. Like that.
- 51:44I told him, too, I like my coffee like I like my women. Cold and bitter.
- 51:48Cold and bitter. Cold and bitter.
- 51:51Cold and bitter. There you go. There you go. The sorts of views of trust Paul
- 51:54are not necessarily respectful. Paul, if your wife watches this show one time,
- 51:59from the beginning, if she watched this show one time, it's really over. It's completely over.
- 52:06And depending on the episode, it's really over. It's really over.
- 52:10It's really over. He's done. Paul's going to have an apartment real soon. Real soon.
- 52:14See, it's totally in a batch of the pad, yeah? This is why I'm glad I'm a bougie
- 52:17white girl. I like my creamer and I like my syrups. Yeah.
- 52:22I found a banana syrup and a blueberry one so I can make a blueberry muffin.
- 52:26Good for you. Or I can make a banana bread coffee. Yeah, Alan's like the cook
- 52:31in his house too. I'm a Starby's girl. I'm a $7 coffee girl.
- 52:34It's not a good life choice. You're a Starbucks girl? Yeah, we are.
- 52:37I do caribou. I'm a caribou guy. I like caribou too, but I have more status
- 52:41and points at Starbucks. That's fucking a reward.
- 52:45For Christmas It's like Delta You know For Christmas I
- 52:48got a bunch of Starburst cards So I got to use those And
- 52:51then I got a I got a seven brew card Oh and I
- 52:54don't You know what I hate to say this I don't like seven brew No I don't mind
- 52:57it It's not my It's bitter Every time I've tried it It's really bitter It's
- 53:00not my first choice You know what's actually pretty good It's cheap though You
- 53:03like hot coffee or cold coffee Both I do ice coffee Today I did a hot coffee
- 53:06And I did a sugar free vanilla latte Okay And I did some pumps of peppermint Okay How was that?
- 53:12Wintry It was good With almond milk Yeah, that's great.
- 53:16I would like to point out that I think I've never tried seven brew,
- 53:19but I'm going to have to now because if it's bitter and cheap That's your jam.
- 53:24That's how he likes his women Bitter and cheap Honestly, for what they are.
- 53:30Mega Latte is pretty good I haven't been there yet Mega Latte is good, I had that one soon
- 53:35It's a North Dakota chain They started in Williston I heard we're getting a
- 53:39second one I don't know where, but I heard It must be doing pretty well Yeah,
- 53:44I heard that on the down low. I can't reveal my story.
- 53:47Can we just get rid of it? The down low in black culture is really different.
- 53:51In Atlanta, did you know that? No. Okay, so, oh, wow.
- 53:55I'm teaching you something today. Yes, I'm going to learn. So in Atlanta,
- 53:58there's a lot of, you know, there's a lot of blacks in Atlanta.
- 54:04And a lot of black men apparently are on the down low. Oh, oh,
- 54:08oh. Hooking up with other men. Other dudes, yeah.
- 54:10That's like a thing in Atlanta. That's it. That's because they're like Diddy.
- 54:14They want to be like Diddy.
- 54:15Do you like tap your foot under the, remember that was like a thing back in the 90s?
- 54:18Like men would like tap their foot underneath like the stall and that was like
- 54:22a sign to be like, hey, come over here to the other stall.
- 54:24That's the same as a Minnesota senator thing.
- 54:28Yeah. Like I remember hearing that story when I was in high school.
- 54:30So that's the same. That's the, that's kind of one of the hidden symbols too.
- 54:33Like if you look at like old Navy, the old parts of the Navy,
- 54:37like they would hide nautical stars themselves.
- 54:40Really? To show that they were gay. What do you mean A hide a nautical star
- 54:43Like they would put Nautical star tattoos On themselves Oh okay A nautical scarf Joyners,
- 54:49You said, where were you showing yours? Is that the tattoo Manny has?
- 54:53No. Oh, no. Just kidding.
- 54:56Is that the notical star? I do. It's Africa. It's close enough to his notical star.
- 55:02There you go. It's Manny's tattoo. All right. He's losing a tattoo game.
- 55:06He's waited until he's in his 30s to get a tattoo. He cried a lot.
- 55:09He cried a lot. He's crying.
- 55:10He just saw him. He's like, oh, my arm hurts. My arm hurts. Wow.
- 55:14I don't have any tattoos.
- 55:15I can't touch it. I can't touch it. I got it last minute. You know, I want something.
- 55:19This is why I'm glad. Who knows if I get shot?
- 55:22Yeah, yeah. The only thing they can know is tattoo. I got some hit, though.
- 55:25He wanted to be able to be identified in case he lost his life.
- 55:27But I do have some here. Yeah. He hit in here, too. We'll talk about that later.
- 55:30Off air. Yeah, we can't talk about it. This is why when I'm glad I get tattooed, I just fall asleep.
- 55:35Yeah? I'm so wrong. Yeah, I fall asleep, too, man. So you don't have any tattoos?
- 55:38I don't know. I have no tattoos, so I'm like, I can't relate.
- 55:40Have you ever wanted one? I made a couple.
- 55:44I don't know how much I should share. So you really don't have tattoos? No, I don't.
- 55:48I did for a short time sort of saw this guy who was very tattooed when I was in college in Denver.
- 55:56And he played for the NBA. It was like this very... What was his name?
- 56:00It wasn't Birdman. NBA? Come on. That says his name. No, no,
- 56:03no, no, no. It was a poor life choice.
- 56:05Carmelo? No, but it was that era. Oh, that was so much.
- 56:10I was around all these tattoos. And I was like, oh, my gosh,
- 56:12maybe I should get a tattoo. I would have got the dumbest thing ever.
- 56:15I was like 20 years old. I've been so stupid. I didn't do it.
- 56:19I'm never going to confirm her to that. If the name's already been said at this
- 56:22table, I'm not going to confirm her to that. We could talk off air,
- 56:25but you know. I'm not proud.
- 56:26I'm not proud. But you know, I know Carmella personally, so that's cool.
- 56:29All right. I know AI personally.
- 56:30Yeah. Is he still with Lala? Is it Lala? Nope. Lala's.
- 56:33She gone? She gone. That girl gone. The only other person.
- 56:37There's Lala era though when I was. Yeah. Lala's smoking hot.
- 56:39The only other person I can think of that's all Carlos Bergman.
- 56:43I smoke Lala. Jesus Christ. He said, we'll do the Lala. $50 million.
- 56:49For free. For free. For free. For free.
- 56:53He always brings up like these dollar amounts to hook up with a woman.
- 56:57That you would pay that much? Yeah. They will pay.
- 57:02He's different. What? Manny's willing to admit he'd probably pay like $500 to
- 57:06Gretchen. Yeah, to Gretchen. To Gretchen.
- 57:11Look, I can't help it. We all run on Alan. Bullet in my head.
- 57:15I'm not Paul. I'm not Shell. I'm not Alan.
- 57:20I'm me. I'm Drew. She doesn't know who I am. I'm the mystery.
- 57:24He's very afraid of people who... Oh, yeah. I heard that.
- 57:27Yeah. I got that vibe. I feel like I should have had a disclaimer.
- 57:31Like, hey, my views today don't represent the company I work for.
- 57:35I mean, you guys are scaring me a little bit. I'm sorry, Anna.
- 57:37You know what, Anna? Guess what? I'm really inclusive and open and respected kindness to all.
- 57:41Don't like you guys are you guys are not we see
- 57:44no no no we stay on the edge you're like you're flirting
- 57:47with the line though guys you know what the line is
- 57:50good the line is good because sometimes in the
- 57:53world like everybody's so like straight laced nobody
- 57:55wants to say something crazy or get canceled or
- 57:59whatever we just stay right on the line and be like
- 58:01you know what we're just having fun end of the day it's craft beer we're drinking
- 58:06beer we're talking stuff we're having fun it's like a easy flowing show it's
- 58:10not like something like you know we gotta force it or something like that so
- 58:13since we're back into the beer oh we're back into the beer see how we transition
- 58:17really well into the beer so smooth yeah go Alan what were we drinking Alan we're drinking,
- 58:22Brains is this an IV8 gross it's called Brains yep the series is Brains that's
- 58:27their biggest series to date from Dregger is that what you guys already have in your cup yeah.
- 58:32Brains. Why does yours look darker than mine? Because you probably had so much stuff in it before.
- 58:36Okay. So this is- This is actually really good, actually. This is mango, mango, and mango.
- 58:40Ooh. And a lot of peach, peach, peach with apricots and sea salt to balance out the tartness.
- 58:45That's really good, actually. I'm trying to make sure I'm not ahead of you guys. No. Am I behind?
- 58:49No, no, no, no, no. I feel like I'm trying to pace with you.
- 58:50No, no, no, no, you're on pace.
- 58:52You're on pace for sure. It's good. It's good. You like it? Yeah.
- 58:56It's tasty, right? Yeah, it's better than the peach ring one.
- 58:59Because this is peach mangoes. I like the mangoes in it. Mangoes are always
- 59:02good, though. Yeah. And a beer. And a beer. Yeah, totally. Always.
- 59:06So with the events at the Alaris Center coming up, I'm personally on the opposite.
- 59:11I know country pays the bills. Yes. And you already get enough flack of it,
- 59:16too, that you hear rock shows and other kind of entertainment.
- 59:19Yeah. Yeah. But it's what, I know they're not as big.
- 59:22No, no, no. But here's the deal. I think. It's hard to get some of them.
- 59:26All of it's hard to get right now. And touring is a motherfucker.
- 59:29I don't know if I'm allowed to say that, but like, it seems to work in 25 and
- 59:3226 is really hard right now. I know there's a bunch of artists that are going back out on tour.
- 59:36Like, Shinedown's going to be in Fargo in March. Yep.
- 59:39Did they announce that? Yep. Normally, I like sulk for a couple days,
- 59:42but I knew about that one in advance. Yeah. Because I tried to get that here.
- 59:45So, here's the thing. We've had really good luck with a lot of rocks.
- 59:48Like, I booked Metallica.
- 59:50That was good. That took me 18 months. It was a dog fight.
- 59:53Oh, yeah. That was rough. I hired and fired like seven engineering firms because
- 59:56we couldn't rig the show.
- 59:57But we have the highest rigging capacity so like steel in
- 1:00:00our ceiling metal is pretty demanding too they're wonderful it
- 1:00:03was so great but it was i hired in fact i was like i'm not going to take no
- 1:00:06for an answer from the engineers find a way or it
- 1:00:09would have gone to fargo so i mean we're always in the dogfight yeah
- 1:00:12we try to be aggressive we try to be creative we're just not going to win every
- 1:00:15one but i think we've had good luck with some rock and country does do really
- 1:00:19well but we've had good luck with rock too so it just depends on what it is
- 1:00:22like the rock deal tour i was at that one yeah that one we lost a lot of money
- 1:00:25on but it was a great show i was up front And my friend and I,
- 1:00:28we always get up front. We're at the barricade, always on the left.
- 1:00:30And we had a blast up there. House left? So if you're looking at the stage?
- 1:00:33I'll look for him at the next show. Yeah. I was, I was. Up to no good.
- 1:00:37Like the other time, like, so I, her and I, we always go to these shows.
- 1:00:41My wife just doesn't know the shows anymore, but we're always up front.
- 1:00:44Like, so when Slipdown was in Fargo, we were in front of Jim Root, same place all the time.
- 1:00:48But I figured there was an obvious answer to that one. I just know, like. Yeah.
- 1:00:53And hip hop shows aren't a thing, really. No. And you know what?
- 1:00:56Like, we've done, when we did Bryce Vine, we did the student show.
- 1:00:59The students underwrote a good chunk of money for that one, and we still lost.
- 1:01:02Yeah, wow. When we did Fetty Wap, we still lost.
- 1:01:05That was right before he went to jail. And so I actually got an email from a
- 1:01:08city council person who was like, I'm really disappointed that you,
- 1:01:11and I will never say who, but I'm really disappointed because I actually like this guy a lot.
- 1:01:14But I'm really disappointed you would bring Fetty Wap because he's got all these
- 1:01:17charges against him for drugs and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:01:19And I said, hey, man, like the students underwrote the most of the money, the most of the risk.
- 1:01:24Number two, there's a lot of artists that make a lot of off-color choices that we don't agree with.
- 1:01:28I don't book shows based on that. I book on what's going to sell,
- 1:01:31what we think the market can bear. We do a whole risk analysis. Yeah.
- 1:01:35And we're always going to, we want, we want diverse artists.
- 1:01:37Fetty Wap just got out too. Yeah. So come on back, Fetty. Come on back. Yeah, he's all right.
- 1:01:41And so it was, it was crazy. But then I sent this email back to him like,
- 1:01:44we don't always agree with the choices of artists, blah, blah,
- 1:01:46blah, blah, blah. Like defending our choice.
- 1:01:48The next week is when he went to that federal prison.
- 1:01:51And I was like, oh, my man. Here's my question. Ate a little crow that day. How was he?
- 1:01:55Was he a very nice gentleman? He was really nice. And actually I had an intern
- 1:01:58that worked on, that worked on that show.
- 1:02:01And he, he asked her, he's like, hey, I can smoke in here, right?
- 1:02:04And the answer is obviously we're a non-smoking facility, but whatever happens backstage.
- 1:02:08You don't talk about it. It happens. We just, I don't, we don't see it,
- 1:02:11right? Right, right, right. Like it's, we want to respect, we want them to the
- 1:02:13best environment, they're on the road all the time.
- 1:02:15And she said, Mr. WAP, we would prefer. WAP, Mr.
- 1:02:19WAP. I love it. So now that's the joke at the office is Mr.
- 1:02:22WAP, we would prefer if you didn't smoke in here, but like whatever happens
- 1:02:25in your dressing room stays in your dressing room. That's cool, man. Huh?
- 1:02:28No, because I think sometimes rap gets a, you know, that stain on it all the
- 1:02:31time. No, they're always the nicest.
- 1:02:33That's what I said. They're late all the time. Every show, they're late.
- 1:02:37So when I worked for Live Nation, Ludacris was an hour and a half late.
- 1:02:41Oh, yeah. And he was flying in. He flew in.
- 1:02:43We had to get a police escort from the airport. Of course. In Winnipeg.
- 1:02:48Yep. And usher him to the stage.
- 1:02:50I was the guy doing the introductions. Yep. Stage welcome or whatever. Yep. Blah, blah, blah.
- 1:02:56Ludacris. Great show. Yeah. He's an incredible artist. He's an incredible performer.
- 1:03:02Great. He has so much songs. Luda. Yeah, Luda That's how you gotta say it Yeah,
- 1:03:06so I love all his songs, but he was late We did 50 Cent,
- 1:03:10we did David Banner Man, we did so many people They're always late,
- 1:03:14Snoop was late, and then My Idiot Self This is in Casper, Wyoming,
- 1:03:17and I had a Snoop Dogg show It was so great, and I didn't understand what the
- 1:03:21Puff Puff Pass tour meant I didn't know, because I don't,
- 1:03:24Duh I didn't get it I didn't get it I was on those tours with Snoop Shoot, shoot,
- 1:03:32So, I know that there's, they're kind of far and in between,
- 1:03:35but you say all these rappers are late. Are the white ones?
- 1:03:40The white rappers or the white artists?
- 1:03:46Hold on, hold on a second. I thought you'd use express my phone.
- 1:03:52Your discretion is advised.
- 1:03:56No, it's a good question. If you're asking about wines, I've not done a white
- 1:04:00rapper show. I did Machine Gun Kelly back, if he counts as that, back in the day at a club.
- 1:04:05Okay. So no, and I don't think he's on time. He's white. What about the country,
- 1:04:09guys? Machine Gun Kelly is dope.
- 1:04:10Rock. I feel like everybody's unique, but I think we've had really good luck
- 1:04:14with really kind, gracious, humble artists.
- 1:04:17You always get a couple that aren't, you know, the best.
- 1:04:20Kenny Chesney was an awesome guy. Wonderful. I loved him. Wonderful.
- 1:04:23Wonderful. Wonderful. God Brooks was so nice. Oh, yeah, yeah. They ran a little late.
- 1:04:27He paid all the staff extra money. I believe that. He was amazing.
- 1:04:31I haven't done a Garccio. That's my white whale. That's my white whale.
- 1:04:34But I've heard that. Yeah, he had his wife with him, his kids, his dogs.
- 1:04:38Yep, yep. He was so nice. He paid everybody like an extra 500 bucks.
- 1:04:42Right. It was so amazing. He had cash on hand. Right.
- 1:04:45Made sure everybody got money. Taking care of. The entire building. Yeah. He was awesome.
- 1:04:49All these artists have like their own different like quirk.
- 1:04:54I guess I would call it where they always ask for like something like outrageous
- 1:04:58that just makes that makes absolutely no sense.
- 1:05:01On their rider. And then and then, you know, so like showing up late might be
- 1:05:04like like their thing to make them feel like they're more important.
- 1:05:07I don't know. I don't know if that's the case.
- 1:05:09I've had a few artists that are late and a couple country always, always rap.
- 1:05:14But I would say like a country sometimes it's just schedules and logistics and it sucks.
- 1:05:17I don't think anybody's ever intentionally done it. But I guess I don't know
- 1:05:21that. But my Snoop Dogg show, everybody was so secondhand high in Casper.
- 1:05:25And the next morning at 8 a.m., I thought, this is like 22-year-old Anna,
- 1:05:29who's a director of marketing.
- 1:05:30I'm like, let's book all our staff headshots at 8 a.m. Those are mode shots.
- 1:05:34Oh, everybody was out of there at like 3 a.m. We're all contact high.
- 1:05:38We all have red eyes. We all look like absolute shit.
- 1:05:41Worst headshot I've ever taken. That's amazing. That thing is gone.
- 1:05:45That was awesome. But then like T-Pain was really late. And I had these women
- 1:05:47that were like waiting for him at the meet and greet. And I ran the meet and
- 1:05:50greets and I couldn't get him off the bus.
- 1:05:52And the promoter's like this big black guy. And he's like, you know,
- 1:05:54he'll respond better to you than he will to me.
- 1:05:58Let's go get him off the bus together. Right. Like, that's, I'm not,
- 1:06:00that's like a big no-no. It's not my job. It's not my job. It's a big no-no.
- 1:06:03He's like, just come with me,
- 1:06:04please. I'm like, well, the promoter's asking me to go. I guess I'll go.
- 1:06:07So we're like, go knock on the door. We're like, oh, Mr. Payne,
- 1:06:09Mr. Payne. He's like in there drinking 99 bananas.
- 1:06:12He's like, come on in, have a drink. No, no, no, sir. like these women are about
- 1:06:15to shank me. Yeah. Like they need you in here, man.
- 1:06:18So that was crazy. But I think they're always late. They're just on their own
- 1:06:21timeline. They're always late. Why?
- 1:06:23They just, they just. It's their style. I don't know why. And then to get vibe.
- 1:06:27Is this, is this vibe? Yeah, it's in there. The one. I mean,
- 1:06:30I work with a couple artists around. Is this your show? Yeah. Yes, mine is. Yeah.
- 1:06:34That's just their style, man. Yeah. The one I love, like I was high as shit
- 1:06:37the whole concert. I was out and up and smoked tour with Eminem and Dre.
- 1:06:40Yeah, I went to that. Oh, I was so fucked up. I had that show.
- 1:06:43I went to that show. When? In Toronto, in Vancouver.
- 1:06:45When Boss of Rhymes, Chiggy, Fabulous, and 57 were here, I was fucking high on the drum.
- 1:06:50I love Fabulous, but man, I was...
- 1:06:54Buster Rhymes or Fabulous were slinging Hennessy all over the first rows when we were up there.
- 1:06:58I was smelling like fucking Hennessy. You know what Fabulous's real name is? Please tell me not Josh.
- 1:07:04John. Oh, fuck. That's even worse.
- 1:07:07That's a white-ass name. That's biblical.
- 1:07:12John Smith. John Smith? Either John Smith or John Jackson, one or the other. Oh, no.
- 1:07:18At least Jackson's a little more like... So, if the other host of our normal
- 1:07:22show here, John Roberts, he's seen, like, multiple people at the Alara Center
- 1:07:26and stuff because he was in radio for, you know, 30 years.
- 1:07:28Right. He said, by far none, the worst musician that he has ever met in his
- 1:07:33life is the lead singer for Nickelback.
- 1:07:35Chad Kroger? Really? He was nice. He said he was, like, the biggest dickhead
- 1:07:39he's ever met. I like Chad Kroger. I met Chad Kroger. He was awesome.
- 1:07:42I haven't met him, so I don't know. I can't say it. I can't say that one.
- 1:07:44Like, as soon as he shook somebody's hand, he would have somebody bring him
- 1:07:49hand sanitizer instantly.
- 1:07:50He wasn't like that with us. You know what? When I met Jack Kruger, I met Jack Kruger.
- 1:07:54I've asked him a lot of artists. He was totally a nice guy. I've been a personal
- 1:07:56security. Yeah. He was a nice guy.
- 1:07:59And he was actually a rock star. Like, he was just really cool.
- 1:08:02Like the song, I Want to Be a Rock Star. Yes, I Want to Be a Rock Star.
- 1:08:05Actually, you know what? You go back. Come to the Alair Center 2097.
- 1:08:08I remember he was getting panty stoned at him on the stage. It was amazing.
- 1:08:11It was pretty cool. Like, it was fun. Huh?
- 1:08:14This beer is awful. It's a strawberry sauce from the polarity.
- 1:08:16I'm just going to close my, what do you think, Anna? Just down the hatch.
- 1:08:20I think down the hatch. Down the hatch.
- 1:08:22God damn. I could definitely taste a strawberry in there, but nope.
- 1:08:25It's strawberry, but that's a note for me.
- 1:08:27I'm going to tell you why. When I have a stomach ache, I'm going to be like
- 1:08:29drinking Pepto tonight at my house. Like an old lady in my fuzzy socks since it's so cold out.
- 1:08:35It's freezing out. So cold. What is it, minus like 17? Yeah,
- 1:08:39it's like negative 50 real feel. Yeah. Wow, that's crazy.
- 1:08:42I'm at an Uber Eats for my kids and I'm just like we're not leaving we're out
- 1:08:46all my friends are going to come to our house we're just going to drink wine
- 1:08:48the other day I took a picture of my truck in front of that big ass,
- 1:08:53iceberg it's really good that iceberg,
- 1:08:57at Target I took a picture of my truck far away and my truck looks so small
- 1:09:02in front of that big ice thing the big mountain the big mountain snow yeah it's
- 1:09:06pretty cool North Dakota mountains yeah

- 1:11:39All right, we're back, guys. So anyway, episode 73, we're calling this one, Alan.
- 1:11:45Bruised pork and cults, oh my. Come on, Alan. I'm going to butcher it.
- 1:11:49Come on, Alan. Try it again. Try it again, Alan. Let's go. Try it again.
- 1:11:53Bruised pork and cults, oh my. There you go. See, there you go.
- 1:11:57There you go. Shots fired, Alan. There you go.
- 1:12:00Found you got it right, fucking guy. He makes the names up. He's,
- 1:12:03oh my. Oh my. Sound like you fucking just having a bad day. Oh my.
- 1:12:08Oh, my. It's cold weather. It's not making me feel good. So did you know our
- 1:12:10show was going to be kind of like just off the walls like this?
- 1:12:13I thought it would be like mostly off the wall.
- 1:12:15I didn't know I was going to try so many beers, though. You know what? It's kind of normal.
- 1:12:19Yeah, I love it. Yeah, we kind of flow with the show, and we just kind of try
- 1:12:23beers, and we talk a lot about everything, right?
- 1:12:25Yeah. I'm going to bring my own vodka soda on the side next time.
- 1:12:28You know, we can do vodka soda. No, no, no. This is really chocolatey.
- 1:12:32It's good, right? Isn't it good? It's good. I think so. It's barrel age.
- 1:12:35Remember, it's barrel age. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:38Or whatever. Is that what barrel H makes? Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:12:42So normally what happens with barrel aged beer is usually some.
- 1:12:45Depends on what the brewery wants to do. Depends, yeah. Some will let it sit
- 1:12:49for like nine months to a year and they'll switch out barrels.
- 1:12:52Right, so you get that like casket, like casket, they'll dump it right into
- 1:12:56the beer, into the barrels.
- 1:12:58So you, you can smell it. It's really good though. They're using pre-existed
- 1:13:02bourbon barrels from different distilleries. Okay.
- 1:13:05It already had bourbon in it at one time. Yes, right. So just all that,
- 1:13:09all that aroma in it, all the goodness in it. Yeah.
- 1:13:13So, but I think it's, I'm going to make a, I have like some,
- 1:13:16some barrel aged stuff that I've been sitting in my fridge for like,
- 1:13:19probably like, or sitting on my, on my table for like two or three years.
- 1:13:23I got beer, barrel aged. Barrel aged beer. I got. And it tastes better now than it would when they just.
- 1:13:29I got. See, I don't like like the barrel aged wine. That's not my jam at all.
- 1:13:32Some are, some are better than others, but it's, they're still a little rough.
- 1:13:36Right. Yeah. I'm like, I don't want the, I don't want the roughness.
- 1:13:38Like I want wine to be smooth.
- 1:13:40Yeah. There's a, there's a wine that I really, it's an, it's,
- 1:13:43it was from the penny sale at Happy's right now. It's called teeter totter.
- 1:13:47The penny sale's not on right now. Oh, okay. I was like, I'm coming over right
- 1:13:51after this. Let's go. This is still left over from the penny sale. It's a normally.
- 1:13:55Teeter totter? It's normally a $60 bottle of Cabernet. Oh. What's on sale for? $30.
- 1:14:00But it's a high- See you tonight, Capy Aries. It's a high-rated cab, too.
- 1:14:04Like, it is rich as fuck. Why has Aaron not told me about that?
- 1:14:08I'm going to text him and be like, what the hell, man? Holding out on me? Well, now I'll tell you.
- 1:14:12Teeter-totter, shit. Aaron's always holding out. Hey, what is that little Dakota
- 1:14:16thing you guys have at the Laris with all the little vendors?
- 1:14:19The Prada Dakota? Prada Dakota. I got some Barrel-Age cider.
- 1:14:23Okay. That's amazing. From Prada Dakota. Yes. Yes, all right.
- 1:14:27Yeah, it was some very good Barrel-Age cider. I was like, wow, this is delicious.
- 1:14:30A great event yeah it is an awesome event i like it usually happens
- 1:14:34right before christmas yes yep i usually buy quite
- 1:14:37a few christmas presents from there because it's easier to buy some stuff there
- 1:14:40but yeah that's awesome good for you i'm supporting local and not just i am
- 1:14:44a big amazon gal but i try to support local too no how are the how are the movie
- 1:14:48events there like the drive-in movie yeah okay so we i know those are newer
- 1:14:52well one is usually a student one specifically and that's
- 1:14:56And we rescheduled last weekend for weather.
- 1:14:58Yeah. So that's just, you know, the students and that's fine.
- 1:15:01The one that we do every year is a free event.
- 1:15:04And we probably get like 400 or 500 people. But the point of that,
- 1:15:07and I started that in sort of the season of giving in Casper, Wyoming, years ago.
- 1:15:12And now we tried to do a full season at the Allaire Center the first few years.
- 1:15:15It was just too much for like free events and not enough attendance.
- 1:15:19So we focused on one. And that's the drive-in movie. And so that's totally free. So people come.
- 1:15:23They get to pull their car into the arena. They watch a movie.
- 1:15:26It's a holiday movie. We do a poll online.
- 1:15:29Everybody gets free Coke products, popcorn, whatever.
- 1:15:32So if you don't have the means to experience the Laird Center or take your kids
- 1:15:36to have monster trucks or PBR or any of these things, it's kind of cool to be
- 1:15:40like, hey, you get to come enjoy the building for free on one night.
- 1:15:42So yeah, I mean, it's really well attended and I think we'll keep doing it.
- 1:15:44We lose money on it, obviously. We've got some great sponsors,
- 1:15:47Coke and some other stuff. But it's good that it's just for the families.
- 1:15:49Right, right. It's like you can walk in if we sell a lot of parking spaces in
- 1:15:53there, like just let I'm in and somehow I love my stuff, but I swear they bully me all the time.
- 1:15:58If you've seen the pork and brew videos, you know they bully the shit out of me.
- 1:16:01And somehow I allow it and it's fine. But I always end up being like the door
- 1:16:05bitch. And it's like that overhead door.
- 1:16:08I'm like waiting for the door to come up. And you're like, come on in. And you're freezing.
- 1:16:12And I'm like, can I earn some seniority here, guys? Like I'm tired of being
- 1:16:16on the door for that event.
- 1:16:18I'm like, can I sling popcorn? I'd rather sling popcorn.
- 1:16:21It's a great event. That's too easy for them. Oh, it is.
- 1:16:25And they're, I mean, and they love it. Like when they made me eat that pound
- 1:16:28of bacon for pork and brew.
- 1:16:29I saw it. I was like, you got to be hurting. you had to be
- 1:16:31hurting for a few days a few days and then i didn't eat i did
- 1:16:35not eat bacon for like six months it was tough it was tough so the one thing
- 1:16:39i liked about that whole event with you having the indoor movie theater so when
- 1:16:43my wife and i went to north carolina we went with a couple and we went on the
- 1:16:48the big nascar track the big the biggest nascar track there,
- 1:16:53yeah yeah and we were right across from the nash the nascar history museum yeah
- 1:16:59hotel But when we got to drive the track for the holiday,
- 1:17:03they were playing National Alphoon Christmas Vacation and you could drive the
- 1:17:06track while listening to a whole movie.
- 1:17:08And it was driving on one of those tracks is crazier than you think.
- 1:17:11Cause you'll always, you're always leaning no matter how hard you steer it. I've done it.
- 1:17:15I've done the Charlotte Speedway. I, I dated a girl in Charlotte and as a driver.
- 1:17:21Well, she drove, but not like that. I don't know what that means. I don't want to know.
- 1:17:27It's a good joke there. But anyway, no, she did. I can't make a joke.
- 1:17:31I really wanted to, but I should.
- 1:17:34No, but she's a sweet girl. Her name is Kimberly. She had that country twang
- 1:17:38in there. Like, how you doing?
- 1:17:40You know, she did all that. As a gift. Yeah, as a gift for my birthday,
- 1:17:44she got me a little thing where I drove.
- 1:17:46The most redneck gift of all time. Yes, I got it in the car.
- 1:17:49And let's just say, if I could have shit my pants, I probably shodded for sure.
- 1:17:53Yeah. But it was the scariest shit ever. Like, I got to get in the car with
- 1:17:57a driver and sit there. Oh, and they drove.
- 1:17:58The driver drove. Yeah, they drove. I had to get in, and my tall ass in this
- 1:18:02little ass fucking car. Like a clown car.
- 1:18:04Yeah, it's very compact because you got to be able to fit in there good.
- 1:18:08Yeah. And you got to put on a suit and everything. Nice and snug. So you got to be snug.
- 1:18:12And he must have been doing like 170 at some point, 180. And you're like.
- 1:18:18Shannon's redneck I feel like we should start singing Gretchen Wilson not the
- 1:18:21other Gretchen that you guys know but like Gretchen Wilson like a little redneck
- 1:18:24woman here cause he's a redneck black man and a white ass girl and a white ass name yeah oh y'all,
- 1:18:33I mean his mama thought he was gonna be a girl,
- 1:18:36on my front porch all year long oh we've got
- 1:18:38a new theme song I always tell I always tell people when
- 1:18:41if you don't remember my name I always go remember I'm
- 1:18:44the black guy with the white girl's name the second time I met
- 1:18:47you and it's funny because I was like I had to ask
- 1:18:50somebody because I'm an asshole and I'm at that I'm not actually an
- 1:18:53asshole but I am bad at names sometimes that's okay and I will
- 1:18:55not forget your name now obviously but yeah but like
- 1:18:58the first second year maybe like at pork and brew and I knew you guys were doing
- 1:19:02this and I was like oh I love this like this brew brothers whatever that is
- 1:19:05love it I like the way you say brothers I was trying to say it's so like white
- 1:19:08chocolate so cool so cool but I was like oh I love that that's awesome they're
- 1:19:12doing this podcast and I remember you talked to me like twice that day and I was like,
- 1:19:16who is this guy? And they're like, who the fuck is that?
- 1:19:19And I had to ask him and my team's like, oh, that's that's Brew Brothers. And I was like.
- 1:19:23Oh, okay. Who is he? What's his name? But then when you were like,
- 1:19:26oh, talking to me, I was like, remind me your name again. I'm so sorry.
- 1:19:29And I hate doing that. And you're like, it's Shannon. I'm the black guy with
- 1:19:32the girl name. Or the white girl's name. And I was like, oh,
- 1:19:34yeah, yeah. So then I never forgot. Now you remember.
- 1:19:37Every year after that, I remember. And now I feel like we're pals.
- 1:19:39And that's cool. No, totally. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no.
- 1:19:42You know what? I totally feel like we came to a place where we connected.
- 1:19:46We connected. Yeah, I'm like, Anna's awesome. She's a really nice person and beautiful.
- 1:19:51Thank you. I got to put that out there. Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:19:54That helps a lot, too. That helps a lot. What the fuck?
- 1:19:58She might talk a lot, but she's all right. Anna and her red jacket.
- 1:20:02My red jacket? Your red jacket. It's your red outfit. Oh, yeah.
- 1:20:05I did have a red outfit. Your red outfit. Yeah.
- 1:20:07One day I had a red outfit. I don't know what I'm wearing at this place,
- 1:20:09guys. You had some big-ass red boots for that, too. You had some big-ass red boots, too.
- 1:20:11I always have a... Yes. Like, there's always a vibe. Last year,
- 1:20:14I went, like, all black leather and pink. My pink leather jacket.
- 1:20:17I did see one video of you online. someone got you
- 1:20:19a pink set of boots oh my best friend
- 1:20:22ellie yeah she made me wear black vans to a
- 1:20:25wedding and i'm not like a i'm a high yield girl i see you
- 1:20:28nice and i was like what the fuck and i had to wear with this beautiful dress
- 1:20:31for a wedding she's my best friend it was her second marriage i'll do whatever
- 1:20:33for her right but then i was bitching about it the whole weekend because i'm
- 1:20:37gonna whine i'll do whatever but i'm going to whine about it and she sent me
- 1:20:40these like thigh high pink boots so i gotta find a vibe for that maybe that'll
- 1:20:44be pork and brew i don't know I don't know what my outfit is yet. You know what?
- 1:20:49I go through that too all the time with the pork and brew. What are you going to wear?
- 1:20:52Yep. I got an outfit though. I'm ready. You do? You already know what you're
- 1:20:55wearing? I know what I'm wearing. Are you lying?
- 1:20:56No, I swear to God, I know what I'm wearing already. I feel like he would know
- 1:20:58what he's wearing already. I'm probably going to be high as shit that day. You said high? Yeah.
- 1:21:03Damn high. Oh, I got THC beers. Oh, fuck. I've never tried THC in my life. You want to? Kinda.
- 1:21:08Not on pork and brew because I will be working for a different day.
- 1:21:12You'll love it because I got some from my... So I know a lot of breweries and
- 1:21:16I know a lot of different brewery reps and everything, but I get a lot of THC beers from them.
- 1:21:21I think Aaron has some at his house. He asked me if I wanted one.
- 1:21:24And I was like, oh, my kids, I don't think.
- 1:21:26So I'm going to experiment for the first time. Like I should have done when
- 1:21:28I was 17. Yeah. I shouldn't do it with my kids in the house.
- 1:21:32So Fulton Brewery makes NARCs. And they're 5 milligram and 10 milligram THCs.
- 1:21:36What are NARCs? NARCs, like if you're a NARC for a drug NARC.
- 1:21:40Yeah, drug NARC. So that's the brand is called NARC from them.
- 1:21:44But they just got into St. Louis.
- 1:21:48In terms of quality, they've ranked one of the best in the nation.
- 1:21:50And they're from fucking Minneapolis. Do they sell them locally?
- 1:21:53No. No distributor. Yeah, we can't. We can't yet. North Dakota,
- 1:21:56we're like way behind the time. We can get them.
- 1:21:58We're so way behind. We're in North Dakota. We're prehistoric.
- 1:22:00We can get them in Moorhead. We can't even feed our kids at lunch.
- 1:22:02We can get them in Moorhead. Went down today. I'm so mad. I saw that.
- 1:22:05We can get them in Moorhead at Bridgeview Liquors. Oh.
- 1:22:08But so my buddy from Elm Creek, they make ones called Seek and they're really
- 1:22:12good THC's as well. Yeah.
- 1:22:13I want to try. I would maybe I'll try one. Or a gummy. I don't know.
- 1:22:17I'm like in the market. You say gummy.
- 1:22:18I'm in the market. I don't want to smoke anything. They make both.
- 1:22:21So they're going to bring me some. So we'll try them.
- 1:22:25Is he just snapping right now? Yeah, I'm snapping right now.
- 1:22:29So either on an episode later or...
- 1:22:32Whenever you want to, I'll give you some TOT drinks. All right.
- 1:22:35It'll be a fun experiment. Yeah. We will not tag the Alara Center. No, we can't.
- 1:22:40Okay, what are we drinking? This is your line, man. No, it's not mine.
- 1:22:42What are we drinking, Alan?
- 1:22:44Paul, is this a fresh squeeze? Nope. Oh, it tastes just like a fresh squeeze. So this is from Drecker.
- 1:22:49This is one of their new releases. It's called Interplanetary Relations.
- 1:22:53Who makes a fresh squeeze? Deschutes. Oh, okay.
- 1:22:57Douches. Douches makes fresh. Douches. Douches. Peggy Smoves.
- 1:23:01Oh, my God. Piggy Smalls is dying. Piggy Smalls is...
- 1:23:05Now it's actually pork. Now it's pork and brew, literally.
- 1:23:08Pork and brew, baby. Pork and brew for real. Look at that. What a brew,
- 1:23:13baby. This tastes just like a fresh breeze.
- 1:23:15What a brew, boo, literally. That's a fail right there, guys.
- 1:23:20No, that's a win. I like that.
- 1:23:23I'm pretty sure that's the ultimate fail on this podcast. I'll never be invited back.
- 1:23:27That's actually impressive. I like that. She had a hand. Just a nonchalant flip
- 1:23:32of the wrist. He hand-sewed these. I can't get this pig out.
- 1:23:35He hand- That's what she said. That's what she said.
- 1:23:40That's Paul and Gretchen. That's Paul and Gretchen. What am I doing?
- 1:23:45You said you would just drink the beer. All right. We're just going to drink
- 1:23:48it when Piggy smells like that. Look at that. So I know not everyone's a fan
- 1:23:50of hops, but this is a smoother, creamier.
- 1:23:53It's very hoppy to me. It is, but it's more like creamy-ish,
- 1:23:57like oranginess to it. But it's a, for anyone that's not used to something,
- 1:24:01it's basically a beer mosa.
- 1:24:02I get it. If you like beer. If you like mimosas. I could get that vibe.
- 1:24:06Honestly, and I, you know, whenever I drink an IPA, I just get through it.
- 1:24:09Yeah. But you know what? This has a little bit more of like a swine flavor in it.
- 1:24:13I don't, I'm not really sure why, but I think it's like a little bit like bacon.
- 1:24:18Piggy Smalls made the ultimate sacrifice right now. He decided to swindle his
- 1:24:22luck in the beer. There is bacon that has, there is beer that has bacon in it.
- 1:24:25He's a survivor. Oh, look at his glasses got all messed up. It's all right, you know what?
- 1:24:28Hey, listen, you know what? Woo, Shannon, you worked so hard on these and I
- 1:24:31fucked it all up. No, it's all right. I'm really sorry.
- 1:24:35I think I still got like 10 more to do. I haven't finished yet.
- 1:24:38That IPA was heavy, man. Yeah, I don't like it. That was gross.
- 1:24:41That's a chain, huh? Say again?
- 1:24:43There you go, Anna. No, mine never had a chain. Oh. There's a chain, Anna. There you go.
- 1:24:47This is going to be attractive. She's part of the chain gang.
- 1:24:50Part of the chain gang. Oh, I don't want to be part of that.
- 1:24:52That sounds like jail and that sounds scary.
- 1:24:54I'm not strong enough for that. Hold on. Put your chain in, Anna.
- 1:24:57There you go. One, two. There you go.
- 1:25:01You'll see it. Oh. Woo. There you go. I'm trying to say something.
- 1:25:06I'm a brother, white chocolate.
- 1:25:12So Anna, when's the porky brew? What day? January 31st.
- 1:25:16And what are the times? Next Saturday. 3 p.m. for VIP.
- 1:25:195 o'clock for doors. VIP's going to sell out though. So VIP's from 3 to 5? No, it starts at 3.
- 1:25:25Uh-huh. And then it goes till 5. Right. But they're there the rest of the time,
- 1:25:28obviously. Right, right, right. And then general admission doors are at 5. 5 and 5 till?
- 1:25:338. 8. Yeah, I know that. I just want you to say it. I just wanted to say it.
- 1:25:36Yeah, I just wanted to say it.
- 1:25:38Yeah, so buy your tickets for VIP because that shit sells out every year.
- 1:25:41Oh, it goes quick. Yeah, it goes quick.
- 1:25:43It's such a good event, and we would not do it without Happy Harry's.
- 1:25:46Honest to God, like our staff does not have the connections of all the breweries,
- 1:25:49all the work that Happy Harry's puts in to make this event happen.
- 1:25:52I'm not kidding. Like if they ever decided, no, we're not interested, it would be done.
- 1:25:56So thank you to Happy Harry's. I love every one of the Happy Harry's is me being working there, but.
- 1:26:02Dustin's up there. Yes. He's not involved with it as much, but Greg.
- 1:26:05Greg. Greg Rickson. Greg and Aaron. Mainly Greg. And Aaron.
- 1:26:08Yeah. And Aaron's one of my, his wife is one of my best friends.
- 1:26:11Monica's awesome. Really?
- 1:26:12One of my best friends. I like his wife. Yeah, I've known them since I was,
- 1:26:14since we moved here. And my youngest was, or my oldest was two.
- 1:26:17Yeah. And then our little babies are best friends. And we were pregnant at the same time.
- 1:26:20We're like very, very close. We're neighbors now, actually. Nice.
- 1:26:23Yeah, Aaron and Greg, and they're all amazing. I love Greg. I love Greg. I love his wife.
- 1:26:29Holly's fucking batshit nuts. I heard that in the best way.
- 1:26:32But she's a sweetheart, but when she is off the leash, she's a fucking ball of fun. She's fun.
- 1:26:38I've only seen her off the leash maybe at events at the theater center.
- 1:26:42I love it. So we're all like drinking wine and we're at the Altru Gala or whatever.
- 1:26:46Fun, fun. She's awesome. Whenever I see Greg and Holly out and about,
- 1:26:50like if there's live music out and about and I see them, Holly's having a blast.
- 1:26:54Greg's just like, I'm going to be the responsible of one.
- 1:26:58He's always like, business. He's on my commission too now. Oh,
- 1:27:02he is? I bet. I don't know for sure, but I would guess. So he's like our vice chair.
- 1:27:06I would bet he'll be like my commission chair in a month, like when we do that. Yeah.
- 1:27:11So Greg's great. Yeah, he gets it. He knows what we do. He understands the business.
- 1:27:14Greg cares more than anyone.
- 1:27:17Like he really fucking cares about everything that he does and everything he
- 1:27:21puts into it. Yes. And he's a detailed guy like Hal. Yeah.
- 1:27:24Hal Gershman. They've been very supportive of our podcast and everything.
- 1:27:27Yep. And anytime we ask for something, they always support him.
- 1:27:30Actually, I think we may be, I'm not sure, we may be there live at some point. You should.
- 1:27:36At Happy Harry's, yeah. So I did a wine tasting with him like a couple weeks
- 1:27:39ago, maybe a month ago for the Allaire Center. Our house wine is going to change this year in 2026.
- 1:27:44Not that anybody cares about that, but it's delicious. What kind of house wine? Souvrein.
- 1:27:48Oh, I know that one. Okay. Yeah. I think we're doing most Souvrein,
- 1:27:50but we did like sampled it, but we were like mostly spitting.
- 1:27:54And I was like, Greg, we could have made this way more fun in your office.
- 1:27:56Yeah. I feel like it could have been like this podcast.
- 1:27:58Yeah. But it was still a good time. Okay. And he's wonderful. And it was good.
- 1:28:02I like it. Yeah. I like it. So, yeah.
- 1:28:05I've had my fun with working there. I get to dip in. I take a crack at all the
- 1:28:09bourbons and stuff that come in.
- 1:28:11I always ask Aaron on the down low, like, hey, man, if you've got a bottle of
- 1:28:14Blantons, can you pull it to the side for me? because my boss is a Big Blands guy.
- 1:28:17So he Venmo's me. I'm his little drug lord. So I bring it to him when we travel together.
- 1:28:22So this guy just says something about bourbon. Are you... Bourbon?
- 1:28:25Yeah. He loves bourbon. Are you going to come into Happy Harry's today?
- 1:28:29Probably not today. Today. I work there today and tomorrow. Okay.
- 1:28:33You're going back to work? Yeah. After this? Yeah.
- 1:28:36Oh, that's what they do. That's crazy. He's out of control.
- 1:28:41Are we just opening these? These are for us to just drink. These are our night cats.
- 1:28:45Oh, these are our night cats. This is the one I love. This is a good pill. This is a good pill.
- 1:28:49It's an easy brew. It's an easy beer, right? Oh, oh, oh, oh.
- 1:28:53Anna is a party foul. What's going on with you, Anna? Hold on,
- 1:28:56hold on. Let me get a picture. Let me get a picture. All right.
- 1:28:58I'm never invited back. Yeah, you are. Hey, so there's a big sign right here
- 1:29:03from John Roberts. He always writes, Don't make a mess. Blue Bros.
- 1:29:07Coasters. I mean it. Oh, shit. And I just fucked it up. He says, I mean it.
- 1:29:11And snap him and be like, this bitch is not welcome back. I don't know Snap
- 1:29:15John. You know what I do? I post it, and then I tag him in it.
- 1:29:18Oh, everybody loves that.
- 1:29:20Probably like, this fucking guy's an asshole. Tag the Ralph.
- 1:29:22Don't tag the Allaire Center. I feel like it was that bitch from the Ralph. Yeah, tag the Ralph.
- 1:29:26Or actually, better yet, I love the Ralph. Tag the Ralph. How about the Fargo
- 1:29:29Dome? Tag the Fargo Dome. Be like, oh, this bitch messed up our table.
- 1:29:32Did you say we're done with the tasting?
- 1:29:35Yeah, just since the last beer hour. Yeah, the Pills. Yeah, the Pills is the
- 1:29:39last beer. Which one are you picking? What do you mean?
- 1:29:42What's the beer in a week? Personally? Mmm. I think stuff. Hold on,
- 1:29:46wait, wait. I need to retry them.
- 1:29:48I'm just kidding. Ready? Hold on a second. Look at that. Look at that. Yeah.
- 1:29:54I like it, I like it, I like it. The wheat. Is that AI too? It's AI. Oh, everything's AI.
- 1:30:00You know what? AI's taking over, so we just going to let it take over.
- 1:30:02As much as I love the blueberries, I'm going with non-satanic,
- 1:30:09the black lager. The black lager?
- 1:30:11Yeah. That was your favorite? It was my favorite because I like sours and I
- 1:30:17like what Drucker does with blueberries, the blueberry sours and everything like that.
- 1:30:20The slangs and everything, but I like light beer and I like dark style lagers
- 1:30:26like this a lot. I think they're very underappreciated.
- 1:30:29So beer of the week is... Non-Satanic. Non-Satanic.
- 1:30:33The dark Czech lager. Black goat, that's what it's called? Yep.
- 1:30:36Oh, the black goat. I like this one.
- 1:30:38What was your favorite? My favorite today was the mango, mango, mango.
- 1:30:44That was good. I liked the mango too, and I also liked the fluff one.
- 1:30:47The fluff one? The blueberry fluff? Mango, the fluff. The fluff one is a series
- 1:30:51that they have, and it's always good. It's always like marshmallow and something else.
- 1:30:55It's always good. So that's why I said because Sierra Nevada finally released
- 1:30:58their pills nationwide, and they finally made it nationally.
- 1:31:01I love this. Is that a Happy Harry's right now? Yep. Nice.
- 1:31:05And they made an 8.4-ounce can, as a traditional Pilsner should be.
- 1:31:08I like it. So it's the size of a small Red Bull cam, honestly. Yeah.
- 1:31:13But it's fucking delicious. What's the percentage?
- 1:31:16Five, five, four, seven. Four, seven. Well, so that's a normal, right?
- 1:31:22So you got to drink like 10 of those. Yeah, exactly. Bushlight, you got to drink 20.
- 1:31:28Keystone 30. It's like a keystone, like you were saying, Paul,
- 1:31:31like 30 keystones to every.
- 1:31:33See, I'm a swear word in my life. See, I underappreciate it.
- 1:31:37I love banquet a lot. I love high light. Of course, banquet.
- 1:31:40If you're going to drink a good beer, of course, banquet is a good beer.
- 1:31:42I've heard that the yellow jacket. The yellow bellies. Yeah,
- 1:31:44it's a very good beer. Yeah, I can't lie to you. The yellow bellies?
- 1:31:47If you want to drink a good beer, It's a spritzer in the summer.
- 1:31:51You can make it a spritzer in the summertime or whenever.
- 1:31:54With Coors Banquet? No, you take High Life, you drink a little bit out of there,
- 1:31:57and you pour Aperol in there, the Aperol liqueur in there, and it's a spugat.
- 1:32:02It's a spritzer, and it's really good. Okay. They're so creative.
- 1:32:06This guy right here, he will have you completely drunk all the beers. He mixes it together.
- 1:32:11He mixes so many beers together, you're like, what am I drinking? What am I drinking?
- 1:32:14What am I drinking? Well, the fact that you're like, this makes Neapolitan.
- 1:32:16And if you mix this one and this one, those Boulevard, whatever those are,
- 1:32:20those barrel-aged milk.
- 1:32:21This comes from a long time of a bartender. If you're a chunk of time of bartending,
- 1:32:24like I've made cocktail menus for bars and restaurants before.
- 1:32:28And I like making stuff like this, but I've also spent a little bit of time
- 1:32:31brewing here and there. Oh. To be honest.
- 1:32:35You're a homebrew guy. To be honest. Well, and I've probably haven't had these
- 1:32:38many beers in a long time. Really? Because you're here. I brought the vibe. You brought the vibes.
- 1:32:43Well, so for pork and brew, we have our own beers at this event.
- 1:32:46Oh, okay. So I got, I got two kits.
- 1:32:49I got one for me and one for Shannon and the, the app, the, the,
- 1:32:53group is called Pinter USA, so it's like the old Mr. Beer Kits. Okay.
- 1:32:56I don't know what the old Mr. Beer Kits are. So it's like an old like keg.
- 1:33:00Okay. Like an old like wooden plastic keg looking thing and you're just dumping
- 1:33:03it in and you just let it make.
- 1:33:05Oh, sure. So the Pinter one is you pour the, it's all these breweries that collaborate
- 1:33:09with this are beneficial for it.
- 1:33:11So it looks like ooze and goop when you pour it, squeeze it out of the bag and into the Pinter keg.
- 1:33:19Pour fresh water around it, pour the goop in there and you shake it up really
- 1:33:23well and after a while you pour you they give you a little,
- 1:33:26vial with the yeast in there and you let it you attach it to there and you let it like
- 1:33:31ferment and bake yeah all the year then after
- 1:33:33a few hours you can actually drink the same beer that's made at the brewery
- 1:33:37that you made yourself oh wow okay all right so we're gonna have one we're gonna
- 1:33:40have like a fermentation process is on like crack basically it takes like it
- 1:33:45takes like five to eight hours to make the beer but we're gonna have our own
- 1:33:50beers there that are from the breweries that I picked that to order the beers from.
- 1:33:53Yeah. So we have a stout and we're going to have a hazy tropical IPA.
- 1:33:57That's awesome. So two different flavors that are ours, but they're already
- 1:34:00from different breweries. They're already made.
- 1:34:01That's awesome. But it's fun stuff that we can claim that, hey,
- 1:34:04we got shits and giggles for us. Something different.
- 1:34:07But eventually, I'm hoping like this summer and in the fall,
- 1:34:10we'll have some beers with actual breweries with us. With us on a can and something
- 1:34:15that we can do together. That's so cool.
- 1:34:16Yeah. Reese and Fulton and all that. Brian, one of the owners of Fulton,
- 1:34:20Brian, he's invited us down to the brewery.
- 1:34:22Yeah. They want to do a beer for us and they want us to present it at the brewery and have it there.
- 1:34:29You guys have to agree on like this. You guys don't have the same taste.
- 1:34:31It doesn't seem like. No, we do. We love dark beer. Okay. All right.
- 1:34:35He likes Hazies and IPA, stuff like that.
- 1:34:39He'll go dark beer with me. And I've been getting into the lagers.
- 1:34:42I like lagers too. But I'm always down for dark beers.
- 1:34:44I hate IPAs and everything I'm always going to love, but like I'll take a good
- 1:34:48dark beer and a good lager over them hands down. I'd be cool with a lager.
- 1:34:52I like a lager. But I know Elm Creek's down for a beer with us.
- 1:34:54Junkyard, we got to get them.
- 1:34:56Jericho, we got to get them. Pretty nice. Yeah. How long have you guys been doing this?
- 1:35:00Two years now? A little over two years? A little over two years.
- 1:35:02That's it? Yeah. I feel like it seems longer. I know it does seem longer,
- 1:35:05but you know what, though? We've been pretty consistent.
- 1:35:08We always come out with something, some content all the time.
- 1:35:11We're always pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing.
- 1:35:13You know what? It's just a slow grind. Yeah, it's good. And I think that consistency
- 1:35:17is the key with anything.
- 1:35:19I got golf towels for the event, for a pork remover to see what people think
- 1:35:22about them, so if we want to sell them. Oh, I'll have a book.
- 1:35:25I'll take, I'm going to buy it, but I'll take a free golf towel.
- 1:35:27Oh, we got, I got, I got, I got a shirt for a time. Which size shirts do you wear?
- 1:35:31Like a t-shirt. Like, well, a t-shirt? If it's just a t-shirt,
- 1:35:34I want like the biggest size you have because I'm going to sleep in them.
- 1:35:37I was saying. I sleep in my t-shirt. I sleep in a big t-shirt.
- 1:35:39We got tons of nice stuff. Especially if you're, if you're a golfer. Yeah.
- 1:35:43You've got to sign up for the Parrot Scale Golf Trouble. Not well,
- 1:35:45but I am. I've never done. That sounds like a drunk fest. It is.
- 1:35:47I'm like, that sounds like a drunk fest. We're there. We're handing out beers and shots.
- 1:35:51You know what? Oh, yeah, yeah. You know what? You guys should join it.
- 1:35:54They'll ever send us to have a team. We should. We're the worst team.
- 1:35:56We lose every tournament.
- 1:35:57But we actually, like, I play a fair amount. But as a golf scramble,
- 1:36:00it's just fun as shit. Yeah. It's so much fun. They're there to win.
- 1:36:02We're there for vibes. Exactly. The vibes. Yeah.
- 1:36:05And the last couple of, the last one was rainy.
- 1:36:08It was radiant cold it was 9 or 10 in the morning it was a little chilly out
- 1:36:12with rain it was chilly as hell, it was cold,
- 1:36:15we had a good time I'm actually about to get cut from the Allaire Center team because I left one event.
- 1:36:23Because it was thunderstorming and lightning and there was a rain delay and
- 1:36:28I had a blanket around me and it got all wet and soaked and I was like Derek
- 1:36:31to our AGM bring me back to the clubhouse now and he's like no,
- 1:36:34don't pussy out Don't pussy out.
- 1:36:36I said, I'm pussying out. I'm out. Yeah, I'm out of here, right? It was just terrible.
- 1:36:39I would have bailed out, too. I would have given Derek, like, deuces, bitch.
- 1:36:43I did. And then they gave me a lot of shit. He's like, you're cut from the team.
- 1:36:45You don't get to come anymore. What the hell? And I was like,
- 1:36:47I signed the checks. And it was a whole thing.
- 1:36:51Derek, you like your knees? Yeah, right, right. Exactly, right?
- 1:36:54No, it's true, though. It's true, though. I mean, look how many beers we drink
- 1:36:57today. We never drink this many beers, Anna.
- 1:36:59Oh, I don't believe you, but. No, we never drink this many beers.
- 1:37:02We usually go like five, right? Last week was like six, maybe five, six, maybe.
- 1:37:07This is more than usual. Just we're talking a lot of shit. This is more than usual.
- 1:37:11So we were just, when you said you were staying? Yeah. Because I told Alan,
- 1:37:14I was like, well, I'm not sure how long Anna's going to stay. Right.
- 1:37:18I'm guessing she has to go back to work, so she probably can't even drink.
- 1:37:21But you were here for the business.
- 1:37:23Yeah. I'm here. I'm all in. Pork and Brew. Everybody buy your tickets.
- 1:37:26That's right. I'm in Pork and Brew. January 31st, man.
- 1:37:28Make sure you're there. If you haven't bought your tickets yet,
- 1:37:30get your tickets January 31st. You get tickets at Lyra Center.
- 1:37:34You get tickets at Happy Harry's.
- 1:37:36Office if you come to us ticketmaster.com ticketmaster.com i
- 1:37:40know happy harry's on like their second or
- 1:37:43almost third round of vips that they fucking fly through
- 1:37:46there yeah it's awesome yeah you know what on my
- 1:37:49on my on my uh even in general mission you still get
- 1:37:52a lot of good stuff oh it's awesome even on mission like you get
- 1:37:55so much food you get a full tummy you get a
- 1:37:57full tummy of beer yeah i i will advocate
- 1:38:00for this if if at some point
- 1:38:03the pork brew ever does become a little slower could
- 1:38:07we introduce bourbon let's talk to Greg let's do it bourbon bourbon pork bourbon
- 1:38:12pork brews right I talked about like making a different like my goal was to
- 1:38:16do like a tacos and tequila fest or something because I love tequila so Fargo
- 1:38:20I do Fargo does that Fargo does that every year around Cinco de Mayo right right.
- 1:38:27What do you guys say, Paul? Get a hold of happy ears. Wine and cheese. Yeah.
- 1:38:30I know. And I love wine. We did like a wine not event with Layton last year.
- 1:38:34I don't know if we're going to do that one again, but it was great.
- 1:38:36So, I mean, we're always, we're all here. I think wine and cheese would probably
- 1:38:38be more for like the ballroom.
- 1:38:40Right. Right. And that's where we did like our wine event with them last year
- 1:38:43and it was good. But I don't know, like pork and brew has legs though.
- 1:38:46And that thing has had legs for 12 years.
- 1:38:48It does. So I think it's like you run for a couple of years and it's like it,
- 1:38:50it does okay. And it peaks and it dies.
- 1:38:53Pork and brew is still like, we're all in. So if we can make another food truck
- 1:38:57festival, like we're always creative or incorporate something new into it.
- 1:39:00I mean, we're always down for whatever.
- 1:39:02I always told you, you know how you guys do the parking lot stuff?
- 1:39:05How don't we do a brew thing in the summer?
- 1:39:07Well, cause you guys, when you guys do the street event with the drag,
- 1:39:12the steel show or whatever. Yeah.
- 1:39:13God, why can't I think of it? Smoke or whatever. Smoke and shine.
- 1:39:15Yep. Yeah. My buddy or our buddy, Hoppy Spear guy is a 68 Camaro. He's gotten that show.
- 1:39:20Okay. Yeah. He's actually won a couple of awards. Okay. Yeah,
- 1:39:24he has a great 68 Camaro green. It's gorgeous. Yeah, it's gorgeous.
- 1:39:28But I'm down for it if you want to set up an event like bourbon tequila and tacos.
- 1:39:33Bourbon tequila and tacos. Oh,
- 1:39:35my. That sounds like a lot of Ubering afterwards. No, it's Berea bourbon.
- 1:39:41Well, we have a Lyft partnership with the Allaire Center, so you get a discount
- 1:39:44if you use Lyft from the Allaire Center. I like it. I mean, I know.
- 1:39:47Like, you already know, but I'm like, I know some of the reps,
- 1:39:50too, that would want to show up for that. Let me give a quick plug,
- 1:39:52too, because we're going to be rolling the ads next week, and I didn't get a
- 1:39:55chance to yet, but you probably know about it.
- 1:39:57But May 2nd and 3rd, the Red River Valley Spirit of America Bike and Car Show
- 1:40:01is coming to the Alaris Center.
- 1:40:03So everybody get out there, support the Veterans Honor Flight.
- 1:40:06Oh, that's going to be good. And tickets are on sale.
- 1:40:09I don't know the guy's number, but you can go to Brewski's in Thompson to get tickets now.
- 1:40:12But they're giving away, like, a Harley-Davidson Road Glide,
- 1:40:15Golf Cart, and really badass, what is it, one of those ATV things.
- 1:40:20Forerunners? Side by side? Yeah, it's like a side by side. But yeah,
- 1:40:25like a really nice one with a trailer.
- 1:40:26Anyway, we'll be running those. That's a great event, though.
- 1:40:29We'll be running those ads next week. They buy a lot of beer,
- 1:40:31too. So shout out to them.
- 1:40:33The only other guy that does a lot for the community and doesn't get enough
- 1:40:35appreciation is BT over at Rumors.
- 1:40:37Oh, yeah, yeah. BT is a fucking gem of human being. He is a good guy.
- 1:40:41I've met him a couple times. He will give you the shirt off his back.
- 1:40:43Awesome person. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:40:44Also, oh, I did Dancing with the Stars a few years ago. That was very stressful.
- 1:40:48You did Dancing with the Stars? Yeah, the special stars for the Special Olympics
- 1:40:51here in town. Oh, yeah. E.T. is doing it this year. Is he? Yeah. Okay.
- 1:40:55That was stressful. I practiced like every day. I'm not a dancer.
- 1:40:59We did Britney Spears Circus. She practiced every day. It was pretty good.
- 1:41:01We didn't win, but we raised a lot of money on that floor. Yeah.
- 1:41:04Hey, I've seen Britney Spears live.
- 1:41:05She is such a slow show. Yeah. Yeah. She's, hey.
- 1:41:09Also, you have tickets to give away. So however you want to do that from the
- 1:41:12Alair Center, thanks for having me. Yeah. Oh, of course.
- 1:41:13And if you want a couple pairs of tickets to give away on your podcast,
- 1:41:16whatever you in the comments, whatever you guys are doing.
- 1:41:19Yeah. You've got those. So just, I need the winner's name and phone number.
- 1:41:22Okay. We'll give them away for sure. So, Hey, listen, episode 73.
- 1:41:26What do we call this one, Alan? Bruised pork and cult. Oh my.
- 1:41:30Here we go. Oh, you got it now.
- 1:41:32Oh my. I told you I need a little bit of confidence. It sounded sexy when you
- 1:41:35said that. I always wanted to just touch your chest. Oh.
- 1:41:38Oh, my daddy. Yeah, oh, my. Well, we do know that Shannon likes white guys.
- 1:41:42Yeah, I like white guys. So that tracks. Wow.
- 1:41:45I just don't have a wig. What the fuck?
- 1:41:49Whoa. I got way darker than I go. Listen. What? No.
- 1:41:56I like guys now, you know. You said it.
- 1:42:00Anna's on here for like one hour and 43 seconds.
- 1:42:04She's shitting all over me. That's okay. That's right, Anna.
- 1:42:07That's all right. It's a rough day, but we needed it.
- 1:42:09You know what? We did need it.
- 1:42:10This is how we conversated for having that shitty-ass cold weather today.
