- 0:58Speaker 4: anniversary that's coming up.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Next week.
- 1:02Speaker 4: And my very first guest was who is joining me today.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Pull over.
- 1:07Speaker 4: You probably need to change your underwear. It's Chris Franjola.
- 1:11Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:12Speaker 1: My dear friend.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Hilarious comedian. Always delight. Everybody's good guy.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Okay, sure. Yeah, I'll take all that.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I think you're like a good guy. Dad. Right, dad.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Husband. Six-year-old. Almost six. July 16th.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Podcaster. Fashionista.
- 1:30Speaker 2: A lot of people, you know, my wife's cousin recently,
- 1:34Speaker 2: we were fathers at my wife's house. My wife's cousin
- 1:36Speaker 2: texted her later in the day. She said, does Chris
- 1:39Speaker 2: have a stylist? Because he always looks so nice. So,
- 1:42Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:43Speaker 1: That was your gift.
- 1:44Speaker 2: That was your father's gift. That's all I needed. That's
- 1:46Speaker 2: all you ever wanted. You should see this guy who
- 1:48Speaker 2: wrote that. I mean, but anyway, I'll take it, you know.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh, Chris.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Can I just tell you a quick story? I didn't
- 1:57Speaker 2: realize I was the first guest, right, way back in
- 2:00Speaker 2: those old days.
- 2:01Speaker 1: You were my very first guest.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:03Speaker 2: And now just an interesting story of being the first guest.
- 2:06Speaker 2: You were in a building like somewhere in like Beverly
- 2:10Speaker 2: Hills or whatever. Okay. I had just began at the
- 2:13Speaker 2: time dating my wife. Just began, kind of.
- 2:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 2: And I was walking into your show and I happened
- 2:22Speaker 2: to see Netflix. One of the doors had the Netflix
- 2:25Speaker 2: logo on it. It's just a little small company at
- 2:27Speaker 2: the time. It was. It was like a little closet
- 2:30Speaker 2: in the same building you were in. So I texted
- 2:33Speaker 2: my wife and said, I think I'm in your building.
- 2:34Speaker 2: She said, you are. Anyway, like she said.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Did she think that was creepy?
- 2:37Speaker 7: She said, come on.
- 2:38Speaker 1: What if that had turned her off?
- 2:40Speaker 2: Well, it didn't. Where would you be today? We're still
- 2:42Speaker 2: probably doing great. Anyway, we're still going. And yeah, so
- 2:46Speaker 2: I said, well, I'll say hi on the way out.
- 2:48Speaker 2: And I said hi on the way out. And now look,
- 2:50Speaker 2: now look, Netflix is Netflix and you're you.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And you got a wife.
- 2:55Speaker 2: To change your life. Yeah. Thank God.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:58Speaker 4: We were just saying that you said somebody sent you
- 3:03Speaker 4: the 25 year.
- 3:04Speaker 2: No, a bunch of, they sent me a bunch of people, magazines,
- 3:08Speaker 2: 25 people, magazines, From 1977. 77 to 78. I was
- 3:14Speaker 2: going to bring them because it's shock. First of all,
- 3:16Speaker 2: the ads alone are wild.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Okay, the next time you do the show in a
- 3:20Speaker 4: couple weeks, I said you're going to come to my
- 3:23Speaker 4: new house.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:24Speaker 1: We'll go to a cute lunch after.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Bring that because that would be a really fun summer
- 3:28Speaker 4: thing to look at. I, too, have a bunch. I
- 3:33Speaker 4: saved some of the magazines, but I was trying to condense.
- 3:36Speaker 4: from when I did like fashion police and stuff in
- 3:39Speaker 4: the back of the magazine, I'd save the magazines. And
- 3:41Speaker 4: in my move, I finally was like, I can't keep
- 3:43Speaker 4: all of these. But I mean, the amount of times
- 3:45Speaker 4: that like JLo and Jennifer Aniston, those people that was like,
- 3:49Speaker 4: you know, 15 years ago. So I can't wait to see,
- 3:51Speaker 4: but with people magazine, I remember my, we got a
- 3:55Speaker 4: subscription to people magazine and I just, every Saturday it
- 4:00Speaker 4: would come and I just loved it, loved it. And
- 4:03Speaker 4: then For one, all of a sudden, my dad's like,
- 4:06Speaker 4: I can send that to you when you're in college
- 4:09Speaker 4: at SC. So it would come every Saturday. And then
- 4:12Speaker 4: my first job out of college, I would take that
- 4:15Speaker 4: magazine and read it at the Robinson's.
- 4:17Speaker 1: May at the horrible mall in North Hollywood.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Robinson's May was like a department store.
- 4:22Speaker 4: And I remember I said, I just wish there was
- 4:24Speaker 4: a job that would require me to just read this magazine.
- 4:28Speaker 2: You did it. That's all you want.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And I did it.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I know. Isn't that wild? What did Oprah call that? Manifestation, secreting,
- 4:36Speaker 2: all of it.
- 4:37Speaker 4: There's a lot of times that I would do that,
- 4:38Speaker 4: but I didn't know that that's what it was called.
- 4:40Speaker 4: But now I look back and I'm like, oh, my God.
- 4:45Speaker 5: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 4:47Speaker 5: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 4:53Speaker 5: before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching.
- 4:59Speaker 1: You deserve a treat.
- 5:04Speaker 5: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 5:06Speaker 5: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Like, one time Drake was like, you know, asking me
- 5:18Speaker 4: about my childhood or whatever, and I said, you know,
- 5:20Speaker 4: I used to say, I used to love talk radio
- 5:22Speaker 4: even back then, and I used to say, Oh, I'd
- 5:25Speaker 4: love to have a talk radio show, but I bet
- 5:27Speaker 4: there'll be technology where I can do it from my
- 5:29Speaker 4: home by the time I'm an adult.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I literally would say that in my head.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Really?
- 5:33Speaker 4: And then I'd say, one day I'm going to write
- 5:35Speaker 4: a book, but it'll be like I'm married and I
- 5:37Speaker 4: have like an office at my house and my child
- 5:39Speaker 4: will come interrupt me. And then when I'd write the
- 5:41Speaker 4: book on the weekends, like Brandon would come in. I
- 5:44Speaker 4: had like this peach iced tea and he'd come in
- 5:46Speaker 4: and he'd like drink the iced tea and.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Be like, well, we're going to go in the pool.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Maybe like in one hour, four o'clock on a Saturday.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I was like, okay, shut it down. Now we go
- 5:54Speaker 1: in the pool. So I don't know. Do it. Do it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You may not know that you're doing it.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Just do it. Well, anyway, I wanted to bring the
- 6:01Speaker 2: People magazines. We have to do it. We should just
- 6:03Speaker 2: do like a full-on Juicy Scoop from 1977 and just
- 6:06Speaker 2: go right through the topic.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'm actually.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Through the whole magazine.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Because we're talking about this, I'm going to jump to
- 6:13Speaker 4: a crazy thing in today's show.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 6:17Speaker 1: That is.
- 6:19Speaker 4: This 1970s Tab commercial popped up. This guy named Greg N.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Foster from, I think, Instagram or TikTok. And he's like,
- 6:27Speaker 4: this is crazy. And it's a commercial from the 1970s
- 6:31Speaker 4: for Tab, which was the diet soda before Diet Coke
- 6:34Speaker 4: got into, like, Diet Coke.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I remember Tab very well.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 1: And so it is a commercial. With a guy at
- 6:42Speaker 1: his office in the 1970s. And it's like, when your
- 6:46Speaker 1: man is working, remember, he'd like a figure to come
- 6:52Speaker 1: home to, meaning your figure can stay that fit with tap. Remember,
- 6:59Speaker 1: if you don't look good, he won't want to come home. Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Well, that's every ad in this People magazine I'm talking about.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Every ad is like, It's basically like, ladies, you could
- 7:13Speaker 2: do it too. Like every ad is, these cigarettes are
- 7:16Speaker 2: for you, ladies. Forget men. This car is for you.
- 7:19Speaker 2: A lot of cigarette ads, a lot of liquor ads.
- 7:23Speaker 2: But everything is, this is for you, ladies. Enough is
- 7:26Speaker 2: enough of the men's cigarettes. This one's for you.
- 7:29Speaker 1: That's amazing. It's wild.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Yeah, we need to dissect that, do a class on it,
- 7:34Speaker 4: do our dissertation.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm so excited.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Yeah. But first, let me get so let's get into
- 7:39Speaker 4: some fun other juicy scoop really quickly. They are still
- 7:43Speaker 4: deliberating on Karen Reed. We have been casting the movie.
- 7:47Speaker 4: We are excited about it. I'm I'm convinced she will
- 7:51Speaker 4: not be convicted of anything in the murder world. However,
- 7:56Speaker 4: breaking news is saying Karen Reid could be convicted of
- 7:59Speaker 4: just drunk driving as jurors remain deadlocked on that one
- 8:03Speaker 4: final charge.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I think it's fair to say that that is true.
- 8:07Speaker 4: So that would be at least some satisfaction to the
- 8:10Speaker 4: people that felt that she misbehaved.
- 8:12Speaker 1: But anyway, I don't know if.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You've discussed this, but if she if she's completely innocent
- 8:19Speaker 2: and she gets out, is she like a Dancing with
- 8:21Speaker 2: the Stars person or is it too grim a crime?
- 8:25Speaker 2: To put her on Dancing with the Stars, because I
- 8:27Speaker 2: feel like they would.
- 8:28Speaker 4: 100% Dancing with the Stars, and I hadn't even thought
- 8:30Speaker 4: of that, Chris. I have been talking to my insiders about,
- 8:36Speaker 4: you know, it looks to be that Bravo is letting
- 8:39Speaker 4: some franchises maybe not come back, like a New Jersey
- 8:43Speaker 4: or taking big breaks. They're doing a new one in
- 8:45Speaker 4: Rhode Island, which is a really ritzy place.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Oh. And.
- 8:49Speaker 4: So there's rumors I heard that they were thinking about Boston.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And if they do Boston.
- 8:54Speaker 2: She would be one?
- 8:56Speaker 1: She'd have to be one.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Is she that wealthy? It doesn't matter anymore.
- 9:00Speaker 4: I mean, sometimes they want to, they want to sometimes
- 9:02Speaker 4: search for wealthy people. They just want, interesting people. They
- 9:05Speaker 4: want people that are famous. Rachel Zoe is joining Real
- 9:09Speaker 4: Housewives of Beverly Hills. And they say the reason why
- 9:12Speaker 4: is because she got divorced from her guy and some
- 9:15Speaker 4: of her ventures allegedly are not doing as well. And
- 9:19Speaker 4: it's sort of like, let me, you know, this might
- 9:21Speaker 4: be good for my business or maybe it's the paycheck.
- 9:24Speaker 1: But so they want famous people.
- 9:26Speaker 4: They want reasons for people to tune in.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 4: But I definitely think she will have a media career.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Of course, there's always a podcast, but I think first
- 9:36Speaker 4: it'll be, I mean, Traitors.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Traitors.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Great on Traitors. Dancing with the Stars got a cute figure.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Remember that one officer said she had a flat ass.
- 9:46Speaker 4: As someone who has a flat ass, I want to
- 9:48Speaker 4: see her in a cute little, I know how to
- 9:49Speaker 4: camouflage that ass with a cute little sparkly skirt.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I think she'd be good on dance. I mean, why not? Exactly.
- 9:57Speaker 2: At this point, they're in season like 20. They're getting
- 10:00Speaker 2: thin on, on talent pool, you know? So you got
- 10:03Speaker 2: to just take.
- 10:03Speaker 4: I mean, the women and the people that are behind her,
- 10:06Speaker 4: they would be tuning in and they would be voting.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Chris, I had not thought of that. That has
- 10:11Speaker 1: got to happen.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That's got to happen. Next up is attempted murder.
- 10:18Speaker 6: Next.
- 10:18Speaker 4: No, I mean, I just hope they don't do some
- 10:21Speaker 4: weird thing where the thing opens up and it's like,
- 10:25Speaker 4: you know, I've.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Been feeling calling in the air of night.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Like kind of a weird. And then her dance partner
- 10:31Speaker 2: rises up out of the snow or something. That would be,
- 10:35Speaker 2: that's a little grim.
- 10:36Speaker 1: They can't do anything like that. They just have to do,
- 10:39Speaker 1: they have to, you know what? Oh, this is going
- 10:40Speaker 1: to be the dance.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's going to start with a setting, like a courtroom setting.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Oh.
- 10:49Speaker 4: And then she's sitting there and she's like, and the
- 10:52Speaker 4: music starts. And then it's her conservative suit outfit rips off.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Through the reveal.
- 10:59Speaker 1: And then it's like, freedom.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 1: And then she like dances to that.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Okay. I like that. Let's do it.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Okay. Let's talk about this. So you did not know
- 11:09Speaker 1: about this.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I did not. This is broke yesterday. Oh, yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Tyler Perry.
- 11:13Speaker 4: For the few of you that might be like, remind
- 11:16Speaker 4: me who that is.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Tyler Perry.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Because I was explaining it to Drake, I was like,
- 11:19Speaker 4: Tyler Perry is really a genius in how he made
- 11:24Speaker 4: his own studio in Atlanta. But from what I recall
- 11:27Speaker 4: from his original interviews with Oprah is, you know, he
- 11:32Speaker 4: really is a self-made man. He was a writer and
- 11:35Speaker 4: he's writing these little plays that were very specific to
- 11:38Speaker 4: black audiences that just wanted like light, funny comedy with
- 11:42Speaker 4: characters that they could relate to. From there is when
- 11:45Speaker 4: then he did the character of Mama.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Madea.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Madea. Yeah.
- 11:50Speaker 4: And he would dress as like a kind of like
- 11:52Speaker 4: a maybe a mid-60-year-old grandma with a bad wig who'd
- 11:56Speaker 4: had run-ins with the police and I don't call the
- 11:59Speaker 4: po-po and all this other stuff. And they were silly
- 12:02Speaker 4: and dumb. Wasn't my comedy, but a lot of people
- 12:05Speaker 4: loved it. And then he built his own studio in
- 12:10Speaker 4: Atlanta where he like owned everything and was.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Making so much money. And I remember talking to Heather.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Locklear because she had a role in one of his then.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Then he got into like more like soap opera kind
- 12:22Speaker 4: of drama things.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:24Speaker 1: And and she was part of one of the. one
- 12:28Speaker 1: of those shows.
- 12:29Speaker 4: And I'm like, oh, how's that going? And she's like,
- 12:31Speaker 4: oh my God, I did not like the way I
- 12:32Speaker 4: looked at all. But I didn't realize that they're filming
- 12:35Speaker 4: an entire season in like four days. Like that's how
- 12:38Speaker 4: he also made the money just real quick. And so anyway,
- 12:43Speaker 4: this guy, his name is Derek Dixon. Very good looking.
- 12:50Speaker 2: He's white.
- 12:50Speaker 1: He's got dark hair.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Has filed a $ 260 million sexual assault lawsuit against Tyler Perry.
- 12:58Speaker 4: And Tyler's attorneys say these are fabricated claims. Harassment will fail. Well,
- 13:06Speaker 4: I think it's pretty compelling. Let me tell you the story.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:11Speaker 4: According to the lawsuit, this guy, Derek, was a cater
- 13:17Speaker 4: waiter at one of his parties on his property.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Okay, sure, sure.
- 13:21Speaker 4: And he spotted him and he was like, you know,
- 13:24Speaker 4: are you an actor?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Well, of course, yeah, I'm an actor. I'm an aspiring model, whatever.
- 13:28Speaker 4: I think I have a part for you. He gives
- 13:29Speaker 4: him just a couple little lines here and there. And
- 13:34Speaker 4: that's when the flirting on the Texas that I'll read
- 13:38Speaker 4: start to happen. But then he actually puts him in
- 13:41Speaker 4: the show, The Oval, which was like about the Oval Office.
- 13:44Speaker 4: And he had a part in that. He was on 60, whatever,
- 13:47Speaker 4: 65 episodes. So he clearly had like a real part.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Through that time.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Of kind of placating these romance gestures that he was doing,
- 13:58Speaker 4: there was always a threat, according to the lawsuit, that
- 14:01Speaker 4: he that Tyler would say, I'll kill your character, like
- 14:05Speaker 4: either play along or your character dies.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:07Speaker 4: And, you know, this is his only acting role is
- 14:10Speaker 4: what he's known for. Also in the conversation in the
- 14:14Speaker 4: time that he was doing this. He had come up
- 14:16Speaker 4: with a TV show himself, the actor. And Tyler said,
- 14:21Speaker 4: I'll buy the pilot. I'll buy your script. I will
- 14:24Speaker 4: make the pilot. I will get it sold. Well, of course,
- 14:27Speaker 4: that never happened. It was just his way to like
- 14:30Speaker 4: dangle a carrot and keep him quiet from ever saying
- 14:33Speaker 4: that these advances and things happen.
- 14:35Speaker 2: So what are the advances?
- 14:36Speaker 1: The advances are.
- 14:37Speaker 4: A couple physical advances besides the text I'm going to read.
- 14:40Speaker 4: The advances are one time they were hanging out at
- 14:43Speaker 4: his house. He drank too much. He's like sleeping in
- 14:46Speaker 4: the guest room. He was sleeping in the guest room,
- 14:48Speaker 4: woke up to Tyler in his bed, rubbing his ass
- 14:52Speaker 4: or whatever, trying to make a move. And he was
- 14:54Speaker 4: able to rebuff him and get him to leave. Another
- 14:56Speaker 4: time he did like take him and like go to
- 15:00Speaker 4: choke him and say, you know, I know you like
- 15:02Speaker 4: it rough or something. And again, he was able to
- 15:04Speaker 4: like say no or whatever. There was a few moments
- 15:08Speaker 4: where he grabbed him and this and that. And also
- 15:11Speaker 4: there was a time where he went, the actor, went to,
- 15:15Speaker 4: you know, do a formal complaint with like the production
- 15:19Speaker 4: company or whatever about what was going on.
- 15:22Speaker 1: And nothing was done about that. Yeah.
- 15:25Speaker 2: They just were like, shut up.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It's Tyler Perry.
- 15:29Speaker 2: So. He wasn't dressed as Medea during any of this.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Because that might be different if she's massaging the guy's ass.
- 15:36Speaker 2: It's Medea. You're like, I don't know. I'll let this happen.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Um so let me read the text okay go ahead
- 15:44Speaker 4: and these are kind of like i don't know what
- 15:46Speaker 4: order these are but these were the ones that hollywood
- 15:48Speaker 4: unlocked posted so let me just read them so tyler
- 15:52Speaker 4: says what's it gonna take to you to have guiltless
- 15:56Speaker 4: sex have you all found that in therapy yes it's
- 16:00Speaker 4: exact same kind of car geo metro okay that was
- 16:02Speaker 4: like whatever they're talking about something else oh And then
- 16:06Speaker 4: the actor says, giving up my religious guilt, becoming a Buddhist.
- 16:10Speaker 4: That's so cool where you came from. Then Tyler says, unfortunately, Derek,
- 16:14Speaker 4: I have friends who are in their 50s and 60s
- 16:16Speaker 4: who are still dealing with that.
- 16:18Speaker 1: And it's sad.
- 16:19Speaker 4: You can have freedom from religious guilt and still believe
- 16:22Speaker 4: in Christ. I think this is showing the beginning of
- 16:25Speaker 4: the grooming of just kind of mentioning like, do you?
- 16:29Speaker 1: You know, are you religious?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 4: I don't know if this guy is gay, straight, bisexual,
- 16:34Speaker 4: or if he just was never interested in Tyler.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:37Speaker 1: What the case is. Okay.
- 16:38Speaker 4: But he's just, you can tell in the text, I
- 16:40Speaker 4: think the actor, Derek, is just trying to like placate.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And I've been in those situations where you're just like,
- 16:49Speaker 1: ha ha.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Oh, crazy. LOL.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:52Speaker 4: But for whatever reason, if this guy is your boss,
- 16:55Speaker 4: if he holds your entire career and your show that
- 16:58Speaker 4: he keeps saying, no, no, I have a meeting with
- 17:00Speaker 4: Netflix next week, you're going to just be like, fine.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Derek says, I can call you later or tomorrow sometime.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Then Tyler says, you have already a fresh voice and
- 17:12Speaker 4: a take on things. I don't know where this is going,
- 17:14Speaker 4: but I laughed the entire time. I could see the
- 17:17Speaker 4: world and the characters, meaning his pilot. My exclusivity ends
- 17:21Speaker 4: in 30 days. I want to take Losing It, which
- 17:24Speaker 4: is the guy's pilot, out to Amazon or Netflix after
- 17:27Speaker 4: that and gauge their interest. But I also want to
- 17:30Speaker 4: try and get you with the right people to help
- 17:32Speaker 4: make these shows work. They are not for my audience,
- 17:37Speaker 4: but we need to find a home for this stuff.
- 17:39Speaker 4: I don't want to miss out on another Schitt's Creek.
- 17:42Speaker 4: You know that Eugene brought that to me, but I
- 17:44Speaker 4: didn't get it.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Kind of juicy.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 1: That Schitt's Creek was pitched to Tyler and he turned
- 17:49Speaker 1: it down.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Okay. Oh, so now poor Gene Levy's going to have
- 17:51Speaker 2: to be brought up in this. You know, they're going
- 17:53Speaker 2: to have to ask him, like, is this true? Because
- 17:56Speaker 2: he's misspelled losing, and Tyler Perry doesn't strike me as
- 17:59Speaker 2: the type of guy who'd misspell losing. I'm just going
- 18:03Speaker 2: to say, these are... Well, I mean... Yeah, all right.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I think these are... You know what?
- 18:10Speaker 4: That's a good defense. These were fabricated in this day
- 18:13Speaker 4: and age. If you can make, you know, Joe Rogan
- 18:17Speaker 4: endorse your product on a podcast.
- 18:20Speaker 2: A podcast.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Clip that's clearly not, that's not clearly him.
- 18:23Speaker 2: You think it's him. Who knows?
- 18:24Speaker 1: Okay. Um, Ammon, I just don't know.
- 18:28Speaker 4: I just don't believe that someone goes through all this
- 18:30Speaker 4: effort to be like, you know how I think I
- 18:32Speaker 4: can get money when there wasn't truth to it, when
- 18:35Speaker 4: there wasn't evidence in my opinion.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Okay. Um, I'm going to get here tomorrow. Ammon's getting
- 18:40Speaker 1: here tomorrow. So he's got my full attention.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I'll be trapped for the day after that.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Then, then he sends a photo of Tyler sends a
- 18:47Speaker 4: photo of himself near a jet ski.
- 18:49Speaker 1: And sends it to him. And Derek says, nice picture. Yeah,
- 18:53Speaker 1: the water does look good. Calm. You can see Derek
- 18:57Speaker 1: is never saying anything sexual.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 18:59Speaker 4: And then he goes, nice picture, a bunch of question marks. Great, amazing,
- 19:03Speaker 4: awesome picture, like capped letters, like ha-ha. And then he goes,
- 19:07Speaker 4: you don't see the stud in that nice picture?
- 19:09Speaker 7: Rude.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Now, I know my husband has text messages with guys
- 19:15Speaker 4: from golf.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. this is not that right.
- 19:19Speaker 1: This is, I don't know if you have ever said
- 19:22Speaker 1: a photo of you like shirtless to a male friend.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And you're like, what? You're not going to talk.
- 19:27Speaker 2: About my pants.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay.
- 19:31Speaker 2: No. All right.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Then, um, then Tyler writes, treat myself.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:37Speaker 1: What are you doing? Derek, like writing it all out.
- 19:41Speaker 1: And he goes, I'm just talking to my sister. Just please.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Just like, yeah, dude, leave me alone. Okay.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Like I roll, he writes, Tyler writes, I roll fine.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Good night.
- 19:51Speaker 4: I'll go through the 600 people in my phone book
- 19:54Speaker 4: and be annoyed that I don't want to talk to
- 19:56Speaker 4: any of them, but he wants to talk to you.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:59Speaker 4: And he goes trying to get off so I can
- 20:02Speaker 4: go to sleep, not talk to you, go to sleep.
- 20:05Speaker 4: And then Tyler says, I understand. And then Derek says, LOL,
- 20:10Speaker 4: apparently you're not the only one that's been drinking tonight.
- 20:12Speaker 4: And then Tyler goes, I just started. And he goes, haha,
- 20:15Speaker 4: they didn't. Like just trying to, I think, get off. Then,
- 20:19Speaker 4: but also he's handpicking things too for his lawsuit.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So let's just see. So then Tyler writes, I would.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Hope that you would let someone hold you and make
- 20:28Speaker 4: love to you. You are missing the best years of
- 20:31Speaker 4: your life, my friend.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Trust me. I hope you get past that block.
- 20:35Speaker 4: In your mind soon. think he's saying that he should
- 20:38Speaker 4: go out and meet a nice girl.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Maybe don't you say that to your single friend right
- 20:44Speaker 2: right i don't know get past that block and enjoy sexual.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Well it's not this person but yes i want that
- 20:52Speaker 4: too i'm working on it therapy is helping and then
- 20:56Speaker 4: he goes um and then the guy derek says i
- 20:59Speaker 4: know i need to spell the roses more and then
- 21:02Speaker 4: tyler says you are the rose hmm Could be seen as, hey,
- 21:06Speaker 4: I was just trying to build up my actor's self-esteem.
- 21:10Speaker 4: But you are so blocked. And by blocked, I mean
- 21:14Speaker 4: your butthole. No, I added that part.
- 21:16Speaker 1: But you are so blocked that you refuse to be
- 21:19Speaker 1: smelt or opened. Poppers.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Is that what that is?
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, you take a popper and it opens your butthole
- 21:26Speaker 1: like a little flower.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 1: That is sweet. And I'm working on it. Therapy.
- 21:32Speaker 4: I'm really scared that I'm going to waste my life worrying.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Been there, stopped somewhere in my late 30s to early 40s.
- 21:41Speaker 4: That's when I think he started to just be like,
- 21:43Speaker 4: I'm getting some D. I know he had a child
- 21:45Speaker 4: with somebody, like some woman.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Tyler Perry did?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:49Speaker 4: And was like, I'm a dad. No one knew who
- 21:51Speaker 4: the woman was. It was kind of Michael Jackson's situation.
- 21:55Speaker 4: He was just like, we're not going to get married.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I mean, it was very clear. He's like, I just
- 21:58Speaker 1: want to keep my personal life. I mean, it's no secret.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I've always heard.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Yeah. It's no secret.

- 22:22Speaker 7: your next luxury escape.
- 22:25Speaker 6: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 22:28Speaker 6: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 22:31Speaker 6: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 22:36Speaker 6: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 22:44Speaker 1: filed against me.
- 22:45Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 22:47Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 22:49Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 22:52Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 22:55Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 22:56Speaker 6: I need a home dad.
- 22:57Speaker 2: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 23:00Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 23:04Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 23:07Speaker 6: happens next.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 23:10Speaker 2: every day was.
- 23:11Speaker 1: You're worth the work.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 23:14Speaker 5: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 23:17Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 23:20Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 23:31Speaker 1: But I don't care if he's gay. None of us do.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Am I crazy? It's not stupid that he's gay. I
- 23:35Speaker 2: don't think this is that bad, these texts back and forth.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Well, it's bad because if this was just your neighbor
- 23:42Speaker 4: or whatever, you can move. You can be like, don't
- 23:46Speaker 4: come on my property. But this is your boss. The
- 23:49Speaker 4: only real jobs you've had have come from Tyler Perry
- 23:53Speaker 4: in this business. And besides that, he's not some, you know,
- 23:58Speaker 4: he's not the guy that got you the modeling gigs
- 24:01Speaker 4: wearing the kimonos around his pool.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:03Speaker 1: He's Tyler fucking Perry.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Bob Wellborn is his name.
- 24:06Speaker 1: This is Tyler fucking Perry. Best friends with Oprah.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Huge, powerful.
- 24:11Speaker 4: He just, if this guy, if he was like, don't
- 24:13Speaker 4: ever call me again and he's going out for another part.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Just like Hugh Hefner knew when his bunny girlfriend was
- 24:19Speaker 4: going out for a part and he didn't want her
- 24:21Speaker 4: time being spent away from the thing, he'd pick up
- 24:24Speaker 4: the call and be like, don't give her the part.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:26Speaker 4: That is what people don't realize, especially in Hollywood, how
- 24:30Speaker 4: when you speak up against somebody, it can keep you
- 24:33Speaker 4: from ever doing the job that you love.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:36Speaker 4: So you're like, how can I just placate this guy
- 24:38Speaker 4: for as long as possible?
- 24:40Speaker 1: Okay. Okay, so this is the last one.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Oh, here it goes. Now it's getting good.
- 24:47Speaker 1: He says, Derek goes, how do they make money then? Subscriptions?
- 24:51Speaker 1: This could be a podcast conversation.
- 24:53Speaker 2: He's like, I'm.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Going to get the podcast world. Tyler says, they make
- 24:58Speaker 1: money from the advertising. Lots of money.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I do think this could be a podcast conversation.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I love how I feel right now, but I don't
- 25:06Speaker 1: like being horny. Testosterone.
- 25:08Speaker 4: So Tyler says now he's on testosterone. And he goes,
- 25:11Speaker 4: oh yeah, from the doctor? But it's making you feel better, right?
- 25:14Speaker 4: I mean, that is what Derek is saying not, hey,
- 25:18Speaker 4: let me come over and make you less horny. He's
- 25:20Speaker 4: saying like, oh, I heard a lot of men are
- 25:22Speaker 4: taking testosterone for health purposes. Like he is really trying to.
- 25:27Speaker 4: And Tyler says, I feel good, but I don't like
- 25:29Speaker 4: being horny. I feel sorry for the first person that
- 25:34Speaker 4: flirts with me.
- 25:35Speaker 1: And then Derek goes, LOL. Oh, and there we go.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And then 50 Cent.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Did this post of just Cat Williams saying, Tyler, that
- 25:47Speaker 4: case bullshit.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Don't worry about that. Worry about this.
- 25:50Speaker 4: And it's Cat Williams smiling because we all know when
- 25:52Speaker 4: Cat Williams did that infamous episode.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Of Shay Shay, Club Shay Shay.
- 25:56Speaker 1: About a year ago.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 25:58Speaker 4: I mean, talk about being a psychic.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I mean, everything has come true. Everything that he has said.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Did he say something about Tyler Perry on that?
- 26:06Speaker 4: He just talked in general about powerful black men in
- 26:10Speaker 4: entertainment and the people that they hit on and that
- 26:14Speaker 4: went with it and why they became bigger stars than
- 26:16Speaker 4: Cat and that Cat was offered 50K for his virginity
- 26:20Speaker 4: of his butthole and said no and all this kind
- 26:25Speaker 4: of stuff. And I thought it was a little bit like,
- 26:28Speaker 4: boohoo a little bit in the beginning i was like
- 26:31Speaker 4: you're just jealous that other people like got the roles
- 26:33Speaker 4: but um no i believe cat williams 100 percent wow
- 26:37Speaker 4: all right yeah that's what are your thoughts well.
- 26:40Speaker 2: My thoughts are see i i would have to yeah
- 26:44Speaker 2: in looking at those texts it doesn't seem i need
- 26:48Speaker 2: i need some sort of context were these guys actual
- 26:51Speaker 2: friends that spoke in real life So these could, I know.
- 26:54Speaker 2: So if they talked all day, that doesn't seem like
- 26:57Speaker 2: that bad a conversation to be texting later that day.
- 27:00Speaker 2: You know what I mean? I think, well, I think
- 27:03Speaker 2: that's a good, if they are friends, legitimate friends in life.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Cause I don't think either one of them say anything
- 27:09Speaker 2: completely incriminating in those texts.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Other like what he's saying, the physical assault stuff that
- 27:15Speaker 4: he's saying that I described, it's just his word against Tyler's.
- 27:19Speaker 4: So by sharing these other texts, you can see there's
- 27:23Speaker 4: a grooming. You can see there's a flirting there. You
- 27:25Speaker 4: can see there's something. And you can see that Derek
- 27:27Speaker 4: is rebuffing the advances. So, I mean, where they come
- 27:32Speaker 4: up with $ 260.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Million, I don't know.
- 27:35Speaker 4: But obviously they probably went to him and was like
- 27:39Speaker 4: asked for a big amount, maybe not this much, for
- 27:43Speaker 4: a settlement.
- 27:44Speaker 1: And they were like, F off. Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 4: So then, OK, now it's going to be out. If
- 27:49Speaker 4: they would have settled, he would have signed an NDA.
- 27:51Speaker 4: We would have never known.
- 27:52Speaker 2: That this existed.
- 27:54Speaker 4: But for whatever reason, Tyler or maybe because Tyler feels
- 27:57Speaker 4: that none of this stuff is true.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 4: That he's like, no. And so that's why this is
- 28:03Speaker 4: a big lawsuit. And we'll see what happens.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I think the the takeaway from all this is 50
- 28:07Speaker 2: cents got to be super clean.
- 28:09Speaker 7: Right.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Because he just fucks with everybody. And so there must
- 28:12Speaker 2: be nothing on him. Because if there was, they would
- 28:15Speaker 2: have found it by now. The way he goes after
- 28:17Speaker 2: Diddy and everybody.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I mean, when I hung out with 50 Cent.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Me too. He was super clean.
- 28:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I mean, I think all of his crimes were done
- 28:26Speaker 1: before he turned nine years old.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Sat and drank Coca-Cola.
- 28:29Speaker 1: He never drank. He never smoked. No. He would sleep
- 28:34Speaker 1: on the plane.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Very like soft spoken.
- 28:36Speaker 1: He, uh, very respectful.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Yeah. He, uh, one of the days we went to
- 28:42Speaker 4: Chelsea's house and he got on the floor and played, um,
- 28:46Speaker 4: connect four with the kids. He brought me in his
- 28:49Speaker 4: car and just, it was a bulletproof car and we
- 28:52Speaker 4: just listened to his latest song.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Okay. That was it. And, uh, yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: So I think, Yeah, I think there really is nothing.
- 29:02Speaker 2: I mean, I really do think you're right. That's a
- 29:04Speaker 2: really good point. Yeah. It's good to hear it.
- 29:07Speaker 1: But he is a good time to follow, let me
- 29:09Speaker 1: tell you.
- 29:09Speaker 2: He is.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And now he's getting to other things.
- 29:11Speaker 4: He has produced the latest documentary on the murders near
- 29:16Speaker 4: your neighborhood.
- 29:16Speaker 1: What's it called? Gigolo Beach? How do you pronounce it?
- 29:19Speaker 2: Gilco. Oh, out on Long Island.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Yes.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 29:23Speaker 4: There's a new doc that he produced that I guess
- 29:27Speaker 4: does interview the suspected serial killer's family.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Yeah, the wife and the kids.
- 29:33Speaker 1: So, I mean, he's getting into different things.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Daughter the daughter of the the guy who's who's uh
- 29:38Speaker 2: i think his name's rex shorman yeah yeah the daughter's
- 29:40Speaker 2: like yeah it's definitely it was him yeah in that documentary.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Wow so um amazing also this was from the neighborhood
- 29:50Speaker 4: talk on instagram um Male entertainer Flash says that he
- 29:56Speaker 4: saw Eddie Murphy and Johnny Gill tongue kissing at a
- 30:00Speaker 4: Hollywood party. They were going at it, swallowing tongues. This
- 30:05Speaker 4: is also something that I'd heard a long time ago.
- 30:09Speaker 4: I remember someone I know was like going out with
- 30:15Speaker 4: Johnny Gill and he never like made a move. And
- 30:19Speaker 4: she was like telling me, I think he's gay. And
- 30:22Speaker 4: I mean, this is just allegedly. And there was always this,
- 30:26Speaker 4: remember when Eddie Murphy just went out to just get
- 30:30Speaker 4: a newspaper and wanted to help out that transgender model slash.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Hitchhiking. Yeah, slash.
- 30:39Speaker 4: You just saw a woman in distress needing a ride
- 30:42Speaker 4: somewhere on Hollywood Boulevard at 4 a.m.
- 30:45Speaker 1: And he was like, are you lost? Can I give
- 30:48Speaker 1: you a ride? Yeah. And, you know, he was just
- 30:51Speaker 1: a good Samaritan.
- 30:53Speaker 4: And I remember when I was working with the Waynes,
- 30:56Speaker 4: you know, they know them from young. And I just said,
- 30:58Speaker 4: do you think do you think Eddie is gay or
- 31:02Speaker 4: do you think he's just into some freaky shit? And
- 31:05Speaker 4: he's like, I just think he's into some freaky shit.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Like, I think.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I think people can be.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Bisexual, whatever, like P.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Diddy, but still like women and like different kinds of things.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 31:18Speaker 4: But, you know, now it's like now nobody cares what
- 31:22Speaker 4: you are. But if you're, you know, holding power over
- 31:26Speaker 4: other people, then that is 100% wrong.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Yeah. All right. Yeah. So, okay.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Uh, P Diddy and Diddy is not, um, this is,
- 31:35Speaker 4: this is funny. Diddy's trials dismissed juror. Cause I got
- 31:38Speaker 4: rid of one juror was not starstruck by Diddy or
- 31:42Speaker 4: just Spanish music.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I just thought that was the funniest thing. Also, he
- 31:47Speaker 1: is not going to testify, which is no shock.
- 31:51Speaker 2: That's always fun when they testify.
- 31:53Speaker 4: I always like when they like insist on it and
- 31:55Speaker 4: then just like bury themselves.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 4: My sister, Shannon, being a criminal defense attorney, I'm like,
- 31:59Speaker 4: why is that that you never really want your client
- 32:01Speaker 4: to testify? Because I think if someone's really fighting for
- 32:06Speaker 4: their life, I, as a juror, would need to see
- 32:08Speaker 4: them cry about the fact that they didn't kill their
- 32:11Speaker 4: wife or whatever.
- 32:13Speaker 2: With too many chances to mess up, right? Right.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Then there's too many things.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Cross-examination.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Yeah, where then that can really screw you.
- 32:20Speaker 1: So it is better to.
- 32:22Speaker 4: to not even give them that moment to contemplate. This
- 32:27Speaker 4: has been popping, this popped up. I wasn't even going
- 32:30Speaker 4: to like bring it up to you. But then when
- 32:32Speaker 4: I opened my phone before you came, Daily Mail had
- 32:34Speaker 4: picked it up. And the old voicemail of Alec Baldwin
- 32:39Speaker 4: to his oldest daughter, Ireland, while he was going through
- 32:41Speaker 4: a very tumultuous divorce with The mom.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Kim Basinger.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Kim Basinger has emerged. And I guess it's because she
- 32:51Speaker 4: snubbed him on Father's Day Ireland.
- 32:54Speaker 2: That initial. This past Father's Day. Just this past Father's Day.
- 32:57Speaker 4: I guess people know. I don't know if she wrote
- 32:59Speaker 4: something mean or just didn't acknowledge it.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I want to say we took a really cute photo
- 33:05Speaker 1: on Father's Day.
- 33:06Speaker 2: You did.
- 33:06Speaker 1: You did.
- 33:07Speaker 4: And Peter took it and sent it to his group
- 33:09Speaker 4: text with his mom.
- 33:11Speaker 1: And it was.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Brandon was still in Oregon. But Drake and Mackenzie were there.
- 33:17Speaker 4: And then I got it from the group text and
- 33:19Speaker 4: I was going to post it. But Drake's eyes were shut.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I know we took like 10.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:23Speaker 1: And I asked Peter, can you send me one without
- 33:25Speaker 1: Drake's eyes shut? And he didn't. And so.
- 33:29Speaker 4: I was waiting for the TMZ article to write about me. Like,
- 33:31Speaker 4: what's up with Heather?
- 33:32Speaker 1: Why didn't she acknowledge how wonderful?
- 33:33Speaker 2: You didn't call Peter a little pig, did you?
- 33:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's what he says in this, right? That's
- 33:38Speaker 2: what's the worst.
- 33:38Speaker 1: So I listened to the whole audio message again. Uncut.
- 33:42Speaker 2: So did I, just like a couple days ago.
- 33:43Speaker 1: It is absolutely horrific.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I know. Like, even before you get to little pig,
- 33:48Speaker 2: it's pretty bad.
- 33:49Speaker 4: He is so threatening. And I can see why Kim
- 33:56Speaker 4: gave it to her attorney, used it. I can't imagine
- 34:00Speaker 4: if this is who I was trying to co-parent with.
- 34:03Speaker 4: And I have a little 11-year-old daughter who he, or 12,
- 34:07Speaker 4: because he goes, you know, you're 12 or 11 or whatever.
- 34:11Speaker 4: He doesn't even know what age she is. And he's like, I,
- 34:16Speaker 4: it was a lot of effort for me to make
- 34:18Speaker 4: this call. And then the little girl has a phone
- 34:21Speaker 4: and I guess she just.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Didn't answer it. Maybe she was in the bathroom. Maybe
- 34:25Speaker 1: she forgot to turn it on.
- 34:26Speaker 4: But, you know, he had to leave his, you know,
- 34:29Speaker 4: party or whatever to walk outside to call her. And
- 34:32Speaker 4: he was annoyed that he had to do that because
- 34:34Speaker 4: that was probably the court-ordered time to call her. So
- 34:36Speaker 4: he's berating her about, I'm done.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Like, you've screwed me up. He's talking to.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Her like a business partner that just took $ 10 million
- 34:46Speaker 4: from him.
- 34:46Speaker 1: And he's like, I'm going to fucking bury you. And
- 34:49Speaker 1: she's his daughter.
- 34:50Speaker 4: And he's like, and when I see you, get ready.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Get ready for a tongue-lashing like you've never heard.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I mean, first of all.
- 34:59Speaker 4: most kids in my day or me love their dad,
- 35:04Speaker 4: but scared. Like you're just are a little scared of
- 35:07Speaker 4: your dad. You know, your parents are going through a
- 35:09Speaker 4: horrible divorce and then you get that voice. I, I
- 35:12Speaker 4: was impressed that when they did the roast of him, that,
- 35:15Speaker 4: that Ireland was there and made fun of it. And
- 35:18Speaker 4: when all this stuff happened with Hilaria, she defended Hilaria.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Maybe everything is fine with them.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Yeah. She just forgot to post or, Posting is a
- 35:29Speaker 1: pain in the ass.
- 35:29Speaker 4: People don't realize. You got to find the photo. You
- 35:33Speaker 4: got to write a long thing. Maybe she just texted him.
- 35:36Speaker 2: You know how long it took me to find a
- 35:38Speaker 2: photo of my father? He's taken like six photos in
- 35:40Speaker 2: his entire life. I couldn't find. I know, you know,
- 35:43Speaker 2: some of them, his face is right in the camera.
- 35:46Speaker 2: So it took me like two days to find one
- 35:49Speaker 2: that's halfway decent.
- 35:51Speaker 4: I always think Kim, I always think Kris Jenner, I know,
- 35:54Speaker 4: has someone's entire job.
- 35:57Speaker 6: Right.
- 35:58Speaker 4: To collect the photos and get the thing ready to
- 36:00Speaker 4: go for each grandchild, friend, and whatever, and it's ready
- 36:04Speaker 4: to go, and they post it, and it's, you know,
- 36:06Speaker 4: 14 photos of North's birthday throughout the years. But, like,
- 36:10Speaker 4: for an average person, and even when you're in this
- 36:12Speaker 4: business and expected to do it, it's a fucking task.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Hashtags.
- 36:17Speaker 1: It's like, ugh.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Well, it's like you say, I think, in your act.
- 36:21Speaker 2: A person my dad's age, they just didn't take pictures
- 36:24Speaker 2: of themselves.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:25Speaker 2: You know what I mean? There wasn't Instagram. There wasn't selfies.
- 36:28Speaker 2: So the guy's got like nine pictures of himself. One
- 36:31Speaker 2: of them, two of them in the background of some wedding. Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 2: He wasn't posing for pictures. He doesn't have a head shot.
- 36:38Speaker 2: So it's tough.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I'm doing it.
- 36:39Speaker 4: For my audience to know oh heather's a good daughter
- 36:43Speaker 4: yeah about her dead dad so no i didn't even
- 36:46Speaker 4: do it about my dad i've recently photo did a
- 36:49Speaker 4: picture of my parents on their um anniversary because i
- 36:52Speaker 4: was going through stuff and i knew it was june
- 36:56Speaker 4: 4th and i happened to find a photo of them
- 36:57Speaker 4: i'm like oh this is a sign and they look
- 36:59Speaker 4: cute my mom kind of you know i look like
- 37:01Speaker 4: my mom yeah but i also think like You know,
- 37:04Speaker 4: people at home, they don't care that much about what
- 37:07Speaker 4: people's parents look like unless they're really invested in your life.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:10Speaker 4: So I'm like, I don't think my dad is now
- 37:14Speaker 4: a pissed off butterfly who's going to come to me
- 37:16Speaker 4: and be like, where was my Instagram post?
- 37:19Speaker 2: A little gray haired butterfly. I was laughing. Dad, I'm sorry.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I went to Pilates instead of posting about your own
- 37:25Speaker 1: Father's Day.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Years ago, I used to work in a restaurant, and
- 37:29Speaker 2: I had to go to a funeral of one of
- 37:30Speaker 2: the busboys that died. He was an older guy, and
- 37:32Speaker 2: we called him Tortuga because he was very slow. Turtle
- 37:35Speaker 2: in Spanish. Anyway, I went to his funeral, and it
- 37:39Speaker 2: was a closed casket, and up in the front was
- 37:41Speaker 2: the casket, and on top of the casket was a photograph.
- 37:44Speaker 2: And it was just like a really bad driver's license picture.
- 37:48Speaker 2: His driver's license photo that they had blown up. and
- 37:50Speaker 2: put in a frame and put on top of his casket.
- 37:53Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, I think they could have
- 37:54Speaker 2: gotten a better picture of him. And then I said
- 37:57Speaker 2: something to like his, not his wife, but like his
- 38:00Speaker 2: brother or something. He goes, well, that's the only picture
- 38:02Speaker 2: we have. He didn't take it. He never took another picture.
- 38:07Speaker 1: He wasn't back in those days.
- 38:09Speaker 4: He wasn't be like, join me for a day in
- 38:12Speaker 4: the life of being a bus boy at 65.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 38:16Speaker 2: He took his driver's license photo. Say hi, Chris.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Yeah. He's doing his side work.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Roll those napkins, baby. Right, right. So anyway, Tortuga had
- 38:24Speaker 2: one picture and it was on his casket and that
- 38:27Speaker 2: was it. Oh. Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Rest in peace. He sounds like a great guy.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Yeah, he was a nice guy. He went and everything.
- 38:32Speaker 2: He was a nice guy.
- 38:33Speaker 1: But yeah, truly.
- 38:34Speaker 4: So, you know, this is just to remind people that
- 38:38Speaker 4: he was in a fucking weird place. But it doesn't
- 38:42Speaker 4: mean that grown men can't change and that they– you know,
- 38:48Speaker 4: can't be a better father the next time around. So
- 38:50Speaker 4: let's hope that he and Ireland are not having issues.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I don't know if you follow Eladia on Instagram, but
- 38:55Speaker 2: she's going real heavy. She's doing a lot of comedy
- 38:57Speaker 2: now on her Instagram. And it's painful. It is painful.
- 39:01Speaker 2: First of all, I didn't realize how, like, kiddie high
- 39:04Speaker 2: the voice was.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Yes, it is.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very.
- 39:07Speaker 1: It's very high like this.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:08Speaker 1: It's like, oh, okay, Alec.
- 39:10Speaker 2: I know.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Nobody wants to hear from you. They only want to
- 39:12Speaker 1: hear from me and the kids.
- 39:14Speaker 2: When I'm talking, you're not talking. When I'm talking, you're
- 39:15Speaker 2: not talking. Yes, that's right.
- 39:18Speaker 1: And everyone wants to know, oh my gosh, what? Yeah.
- 39:21Speaker 2: It's like that.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:21Speaker 2: So it's a lot of that.
- 39:22Speaker 4: And then she goes in a little Spanish a little,
- 39:24Speaker 4: but even when she's not doing Spanish, it's very high.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Yeah. So what she'll do now is, I guess they
- 39:28Speaker 2: decided to lean into all the hair. You know, so
- 39:30Speaker 2: she'll take hateful things that people wrote about her and
- 39:33Speaker 2: she'll make fun of them or make light of them.
- 39:36Speaker 2: You know, people go, somebody wrote, why don't you go
- 39:39Speaker 2: out and touch grass? She goes, okay, I will. And
- 39:41Speaker 2: she runs outside and touches grass.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Also.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Comedy's not for everybody.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Also, I know we all have haters and, but like,
- 39:49Speaker 1: You're not that special.
- 39:50Speaker 2: I know. I know.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Like, people are like, do you know what I've been through?
- 39:53Speaker 1: It's like, yes, I do. Because I've been there. But also, like,
- 39:58Speaker 1: we all have.
- 39:59Speaker 4: Like, if you have literally, if you have like 2,000 followers, you've.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Had mean things be written about you.
- 40:05Speaker 2: And it does suck.
- 40:06Speaker 1: And it is hard.
- 40:07Speaker 2: And you shouldn't let it get to you. Because you're
- 40:08Speaker 2: not special.
- 40:09Speaker 1: That's what I learned in my old age.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I literally am now, I'm not wearing them currently, but
- 40:14Speaker 2: I have Invisalign. I've been doing it for the last
- 40:16Speaker 2: 11 weeks.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Let me see.
- 40:17Speaker 2: It's getting better. My bottom teeth are getting real good.
- 40:20Speaker 1: So you're not doing the top? No, both. Let me see.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Smile.
- 40:23Speaker 2: No, I don't want to because they're not done yet.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I can tell the difference.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Oh, I'm telling you. It's changing my whole face.
- 40:27Speaker 1: No, I know.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Drake does it. Oh, yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I love it.
- 40:31Speaker 1: But you've got to keep it up.
- 40:32Speaker 2: No, I'm doing it.
- 40:33Speaker 1: No, but I'm saying some people's teeth. are movable, and
- 40:37Speaker 1: some people, once they're straight, they're straight forever.
- 40:39Speaker 4: But I would suggest anybody that does that to just
- 40:42Speaker 4: pop them in, like, maybe, even when you're happy with
- 40:45Speaker 4: the result, maybe pop in the last one, like, once
- 40:47Speaker 4: a week.
- 40:47Speaker 2: For a night. No, they tell you, you got to wear, like,
- 40:48Speaker 2: a retainer. Anyway, the reason I did it is because
- 40:52Speaker 2: one of the comments under one of these YouTubes for
- 40:56Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop was who's her snaggletooth friend? She was talking
- 41:00Speaker 2: about me. And I hardly have, they were like just
- 41:04Speaker 2: very little bit. But anyway, it sent me right to
- 41:08Speaker 2: the Invisalign, which I'm happy. So whoever wrote that, you
- 41:11Speaker 2: son of a bitch.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I mean, I've had people call me like, you know, bucktooth.
- 41:16Speaker 1: And I do. I have an overbite.
- 41:18Speaker 4: But the only way to fix that is if I
- 41:20Speaker 4: was to go and get like a neck brace and
- 41:23Speaker 4: And I'm not going to do that.
- 41:25Speaker 1: So I don't care. I'm sorry. I am not looking
- 41:28Speaker 1: to have.
- 41:29Speaker 2: A perfect look. So whatever. You made it this far.
- 41:33Speaker 2: I know.
- 41:34Speaker 4: So I want to talk about this. This cat won
- 41:37Speaker 4: the big golf thing.
- 41:39Speaker 2: He was open.
- 41:40Speaker 4: Yes. Yeah. And it was an exciting thing because it was,
- 41:44Speaker 4: I mean, the putt was like, went like this, like
- 41:46Speaker 4: it was crazy.
- 41:48Speaker 1: And he was at the bottom. He was doing horrible.
- 41:51Speaker 4: And then there was like a weather break. And then
- 41:53Speaker 4: he came back and like won. But so it was
- 41:55Speaker 4: the first time. So right when it happened, I heard
- 41:59Speaker 4: from my friend, Mary Payne, who has a podcast, Pink Shade.
- 42:02Speaker 4: And she's like, I'm watching this. And I think that
- 42:04Speaker 4: he hates his wife. She's like, it just, he thanked
- 42:08Speaker 4: his kids and he thanked, you know, and he kissed his,
- 42:10Speaker 4: you know, caddy and this and that.
- 42:12Speaker 1: He didn't kiss the wife. The wife has, they have
- 42:14Speaker 1: two little girls.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Okay. And like little, like one and like three. And
- 42:20Speaker 4: so then sure enough, she goes, sure enough. Like she goes,
- 42:22Speaker 4: Oh my God, Google it right now. People are already
- 42:24Speaker 4: talking about it. So I looked into it. This guy
- 42:28Speaker 4: did a little story on it. The shot clock or
- 42:31Speaker 4: Justin Morello Morelli, I guess did it. And, um, and
- 42:36Speaker 4: his daughter was sick. And in the middle of the,
- 42:38Speaker 4: like five in the morning of the, the last day
- 42:41Speaker 4: of the open, um, he had to go to CVS
- 42:44Speaker 4: to get some medicine. So people are like, no wonder
- 42:48Speaker 4: he's pissed at his wife. I mean, who makes your
- 42:50Speaker 4: husband do that when he's got the biggest day of
- 42:52Speaker 4: his life? And I was like, well, there's two little
- 42:56Speaker 4: kids and you don't have help. Maybe it was like, babe,
- 43:00Speaker 4: I'm up anyway, stressed about the thing. I'll go to
- 43:02Speaker 4: CVS and you stay home.
- 43:04Speaker 2: With the kids.
- 43:05Speaker 1: But what do you think of that?
- 43:07Speaker 4: Let's say it was your biggest day. Let's say you're
- 43:09Speaker 4: taping your special and your daughter's sick And, you know,
- 43:16Speaker 4: everybody's different. Like, you know, when we do shows together,
- 43:20Speaker 4: you're never looking at notes.
- 43:22Speaker 2: No.
- 43:22Speaker 1: You're like, and.
- 43:23Speaker 4: You always do great. And other people are like, I
- 43:25Speaker 4: need my quiet time alone. Like, everyone has their own, like,
- 43:28Speaker 4: weird thing.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 43:29Speaker 4: But what do you think of this whole situation? I mean,
- 43:33Speaker 4: he did not thank the wife.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Oh, so where does him and the wife?
- 43:37Speaker 4: I mean, they're still together, but it just was weird
- 43:39Speaker 4: that he wasn't, like, hugging and kissing her.
- 43:41Speaker 1: He was like.
- 43:41Speaker 4: The best thing about today is that I have my
- 43:43Speaker 4: two daughters here. Like, he literally never mentioned her. And
- 43:45Speaker 4: do you think he was pissed about having her to CBS?
- 43:49Speaker 2: I mean, no. I, you know, sometimes you got to do,
- 43:52Speaker 2: especially as a dad, you got to do some rough shit.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:55Speaker 2: No, regardless of what you have going on that day,
- 43:58Speaker 2: it's like, sorry. Yeah. You got to do it. I mean,
- 44:02Speaker 2: I'm not happy about half the things I got to do,
- 44:04Speaker 2: but you got to do it. My whole life is just,
- 44:06Speaker 2: you know, as my mother would say, running from pillar
- 44:09Speaker 2: to post. Running from pillar to post.
- 44:12Speaker 1: What does that even mean?
- 44:13Speaker 2: A pillar? I don't know. My mother used to say
- 44:16Speaker 2: it all the time. We're running from pillar to post.
- 44:18Speaker 2: So now I say it all the time. So, yeah.
- 44:22Speaker 4: My dad used to say it. I know I've said
- 44:24Speaker 4: this on the show. Don't get your tit in a ringer.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Which means angry. No.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Is that what that means? I don't even know if
- 44:30Speaker 1: it means angry.
- 44:32Speaker 2: I thought it meant.
- 44:32Speaker 4: But I remember I finally go, what does that mean?
- 44:34Speaker 4: And then my mom's like, because there used to be a.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Way to wash clothes.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 44:37Speaker 1: And if you're washing it, your nip might get caught
- 44:40Speaker 1: in the little spuels. And now you're caught. How are
- 44:42Speaker 1: you going to get your tit out?
- 44:45Speaker 2: Also, you used to say, in this guy's defense, you
- 44:48Speaker 2: used to say... Never be too effusive of your significant
- 44:54Speaker 2: other when you win. Whether it's an Oscar or whatever.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Sandra Bullock, it was way too much. I remember when
- 44:59Speaker 2: she won the Oscar for, and it was the tattooed
- 45:02Speaker 2: guy at the time. What was his name? The mechanic.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Jesse James.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Jesse James. And she was the greatest person. And then
- 45:09Speaker 2: anytime they get a little too much, it's like, oh,
- 45:12Speaker 2: it's just trouble on the horizon. Yes. So maybe it's just, yeah,
- 45:16Speaker 2: she's my wife.
- 45:17Speaker 4: Now, ever since Snoop Dogg, I notice a lot of
- 45:19Speaker 4: people just go, I want to thank myself.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Like, I did it.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Nobody helped me. You're like, all right, that's fine. But
- 45:26Speaker 1: I love it. I think it's kind of funny.
- 45:27Speaker 4: Okay, so there you go with that. This popped up
- 45:31Speaker 4: on my Instagram. And I thought it was so funny.
- 45:35Speaker 4: And it was just 911 TV News suggested for you.
- 45:39Speaker 1: So the phone knows who you are. And it's 911 Nashville.
- 45:44Speaker 4: We're casting and looking for females to play cougar types,
- 45:47Speaker 4: 35 to 55 years of age, who can react and
- 45:50Speaker 4: engage in a party atmosphere.
- 45:52Speaker 1: These scenes shoot June 11th. I missed the shoot date.
- 45:55Speaker 4: But I just thought that was so funny that my
- 45:57Speaker 4: phone knew that I was a cougar, knew that I
- 46:01Speaker 4: watched 9-1-1, and knew that I might be desperate to
- 46:06Speaker 4: get on TV.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Some extra work in the background of a, wow. That's
- 46:10Speaker 2: pretty good.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:11Speaker 2: I wonder what the scene is that they need cougar types.
- 46:14Speaker 2: That seems pretty specific to the party.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Well, I watched a lot of 9-1-1s.
- 46:19Speaker 2: At least the scripted shows on Fox were like Rob Lowe.
- 46:22Speaker 4: Yeah, it was one of those that we like hate
- 46:25Speaker 4: watch too, which we'll get into it just like that.
- 46:27Speaker 4: But my kids and I used to like love it
- 46:29Speaker 4: because it was just so crazy.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Like the stories because about L.A. cops and firefighters.
- 46:34Speaker 2: But then they went.
- 46:35Speaker 4: To like Texas and Nashville and stuff like that.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Anyway, 9-1-1. It's a fun show. Okay, let me get
- 46:41Speaker 1: into this.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Meghan Markle reveals whether her Confessions of a Female Founder
- 46:47Speaker 4: podcast will return for season two.
- 46:50Speaker 1: So I'm like, wait.
- 46:53Speaker 4: First of all, I can't believe you already did a season.
- 46:56Speaker 4: You already did a season.
- 46:57Speaker 2: It was like seven episodes or something, right?
- 47:00Speaker 1: So I look it up.
- 47:02Speaker 4: During the chat, Meghan confirmed her podcast, which premiered April 8th.
- 47:07Speaker 1: It just premiered two months ago.
- 47:09Speaker 2: She might not.
- 47:10Speaker 1: It's currently on pause.
- 47:12Speaker 4: Oh.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Because she says she's just so.
- 47:15Speaker 2: And this is the second podcast. There was another one.
- 47:17Speaker 1: This is the second podcast. This one is just about
- 47:21Speaker 1: talking to, you know, the spank, which I predicted.
- 47:24Speaker 4: I go, right when I heard this, I go, oh,
- 47:26Speaker 4: I got to hear from that girl who created Spanx again.
- 47:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Literally heard her story, her origin story a million times.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Is she the one that's in the clip, all the
- 47:34Speaker 2: viral clips about that podcast with the two of them?
- 47:37Speaker 2: Is that the girl?
- 47:38Speaker 4: No, that girl is the one who created Make the Makeup.
- 47:42Speaker 1: And she's like, yes. Yes, I love that.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Let me ask you, how are you?
- 47:47Speaker 1: Yes. How are you?
- 47:50Speaker 2: That's so nice to ask.
- 47:51Speaker 4: And then whenever she, whatever that podcast is, she'll put
- 47:55Speaker 4: out like 20 clips from it.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I'm like, Do you not want anyone to watch the
- 47:59Speaker 1: full hour? I didn't.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I just watched the clip.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Yeah. And there's been other people that she's just like, yes.
- 48:05Speaker 1: And I mean, listen, she doesn't feature, you know, so she's, yeah,
- 48:08Speaker 1: she's very happy and she's very rich. And so this
- 48:12Speaker 1: was a different interview that she did.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 48:15Speaker 1: And she's just like, I just, I'm so, um, working
- 48:18Speaker 1: on my brand and I want to just make jam.
- 48:22Speaker 4: I want to see what jam can do. I want to,
- 48:26Speaker 4: I don't know that this is coming back. And I'm like,
- 48:29Speaker 4: you interviewed six people.
- 48:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 48:31Speaker 1: You had a huge production team.
- 48:34Speaker 4: All you had to do was just say, how'd you
- 48:36Speaker 4: start this business and sit back for 50 minutes.
- 48:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:39Speaker 1: You didn't have to like go like, like it's pretty
- 48:42Speaker 1: easy interview. You didn't have to like study their life
- 48:45Speaker 1: or watch their movie.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Not sitting here reading Tyler Perry's sexual texts.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Like I did the research.
- 48:50Speaker 2: We're working hard over here.
- 48:52Speaker 1: And I was like, this isn't a hard job anyway.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I don't know how much the podcast company paid her,
- 48:57Speaker 1: but like who is going to be the next sucker
- 49:01Speaker 1: a year from now to be like, okay, now you're
- 49:05Speaker 1: going to talk about mommy stuff.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Like on your stupid podcast.
- 49:09Speaker 4: She is doing season two of Netflix, her cooking thing,
- 49:12Speaker 4: which a lot of people watch because it was one
- 49:14Speaker 4: of those I can't turn away.
- 49:16Speaker 1: And I don't think it was an expensive shoot. Yes.
- 49:20Speaker 1: unlike a 9-1-1 where you have.
- 49:21Speaker 4: To create like an earthquake in la yeah like this
- 49:24Speaker 4: is just go to this house that we run it
- 49:26Speaker 4: down the street from you and and make some you
- 49:28Speaker 4: know and take some pretzel balls that you got from
- 49:31Speaker 4: trader joe's and put it in a cellophane thing with
- 49:33Speaker 4: a durlap wrap or whatever so um Yeah, so anyway,
- 49:39Speaker 4: I just thought that was so funny as, you know,
- 49:42Speaker 4: people that have done this job for so long, it's like,
- 49:45Speaker 4: it's just going on pause.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I just, I don't know. I know people want more.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I know they can't get enough.
- 49:52Speaker 6: No.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Every podcast I see, all she talks about is how
- 49:54Speaker 2: she's so busy. She's so busy.
- 49:57Speaker 1: You know, with Drop Off, I have two kids in
- 50:00Speaker 1: two different schools. So I get up at 6.30 and.
- 50:06Speaker 4: By the time I drop off one and then, yeah, yeah,
- 50:10Speaker 4: drop off's hard, yeah, I get home and it's 9.30
- 50:15Speaker 4: and then I have meetings for the jam and for
- 50:19Speaker 4: the TV show. And that is why I had to
- 50:22Speaker 4: put the podcast on hold. Yeah, because it wasn't.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Doing well or– Lemonada had a deal where they're like,
- 50:28Speaker 1: we don't have to renew you for the second one.
- 50:30Speaker 1: And no one listened or cared.
- 50:32Speaker 4: So we're going to keep our $ 5 million to give
- 50:36Speaker 4: to somebody else for six episodes.
- 50:38Speaker 1: I don't know who's left. No.
- 50:40Speaker 2: No one's left.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Julia Roberts.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Oh, soon enough.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Yeah. According to this, acquire the state.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Oh, Katy Perry.
- 50:48Speaker 1: You know.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Katy Perry must be thinking. How did it all, where
- 50:51Speaker 2: did it all go wrong? Everyone loved me. I'll tell
- 50:53Speaker 2: you where it went wrong. Everybody, I mean, wasn't she
- 50:56Speaker 2: always kind of like, didn't people kind of like her? Yes.
- 50:58Speaker 2: What was it? Was it the space flight?
- 51:00Speaker 1: There were so many things. One, when she was a
- 51:02Speaker 1: judge on American Idol, she was weird.
- 51:05Speaker 2: She was always trying to be too funny.
- 51:07Speaker 4: She was either mean to the girls that were good
- 51:09Speaker 4: and pretty or a little predatory to the young guys
- 51:12Speaker 4: to be funny.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Right.
- 51:14Speaker 4: So there was that that turned people off.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Then there was, she went, found a house.
- 51:20Speaker 2: That was owned by nuns. Right.
- 51:24Speaker 4: And somehow got in there and would not get her
- 51:27Speaker 4: jaws off of that house and was able to attain it.
- 51:32Speaker 2: So like kick the nuns out?
- 51:33Speaker 4: Yes, the nuns fought to keep it. They owned it outright. Somehow,
- 51:38Speaker 4: I don't know, they were elderly nuns and somehow she
- 51:41Speaker 4: got a predatory realtor or somebody to get in there
- 51:45Speaker 4: and went all the way to court. Like at a
- 51:46Speaker 4: certain point, you're Katy Perry.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Find another fucking house.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Like, really?
- 51:52Speaker 4: Like, you have money. You're married to Orlando Bloom or whatever.
- 51:54Speaker 4: I don't know if they're married, but they have a
- 51:55Speaker 4: child together. And she wouldn't stop. And at one point,
- 51:58Speaker 4: the nun stood in court and said, you'll pay for that.
- 52:01Speaker 1: And she died.
- 52:02Speaker 2: The nun died?
- 52:03Speaker 4: The nun dropped dead in court trying to keep the
- 52:06Speaker 4: house for the other old nuns.
- 52:08Speaker 1: And the old nuns are not.
- 52:11Speaker 4: Taken care of by the Catholic Church, by priests, which
- 52:14Speaker 4: I did not know until like I was like 25.
- 52:16Speaker 1: They are their own corporation.
- 52:19Speaker 4: So they have this property that they get through donations
- 52:22Speaker 4: and that is where they have to live. They don't
- 52:24Speaker 4: have all these other things that like a normal old
- 52:27Speaker 4: person might have.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Or someone who's a priest.
- 52:29Speaker 2: So did Katy Perry move into that home?
- 52:31Speaker 1: I don't know if she moved in, but she got it. Yeah.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Then she found a house in Santa Barbara.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Like a Vietnam vet or something.
- 52:37Speaker 1: He was a vet. He's rich. He's a real housewives
- 52:40Speaker 1: of Dallas father-in-law. Okay. And again, he was sick. Some
- 52:44Speaker 1: realtor came and he signed something.
- 52:47Speaker 4: Three days later, he was like, wait, what? No, I
- 52:49Speaker 4: don't want to sell my house. And they're like, too bad,
- 52:51Speaker 4: too bad. And they fought and they fought and fought. Now,
- 52:53Speaker 4: in any real estate deal I know, there is a.
- 52:56Speaker 1: waiting period.
- 52:57Speaker 4: There's, you know, you at least even an all cash deal,
- 53:00Speaker 4: you have like 15 days to pull out.
- 53:02Speaker 1: So I'm like, how did this happen?
- 53:04Speaker 4: She got it, booted him out, elderly and booted out
- 53:08Speaker 4: of the house. Now they're, according to this is a
- 53:11Speaker 4: new law called the Perry law based on Katy Perry.
- 53:14Speaker 4: According to this now I say, according to this, because
- 53:16Speaker 4: in this day.
- 53:18Speaker 2: And age, there is fake news.
- 53:19Speaker 4: So I don't know, or maybe they're trying to get
- 53:21Speaker 4: this bill passed where they're If a real estate deal
- 53:24Speaker 4: goes on with someone over 75, they have a longer
- 53:29Speaker 4: period of time.
- 53:30Speaker 1: To retract it.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Really?
- 53:31Speaker 1: Yes.
- 53:32Speaker 2: So that's where.
- 53:33Speaker 1: So that there isn't any kind of elder abuse taking place.
- 53:35Speaker 2: So people were... They had a bad taste in their
- 53:38Speaker 2: mouth from those things and then.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Then the astronaut thing.
- 53:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Where we, you know, a lot of people think they
- 53:43Speaker 1: never went.
- 53:44Speaker 4: But it is weird that everybody else was like looking
- 53:46Speaker 4: out and she was just like doing selfies and promoting
- 53:49Speaker 4: her thing.
- 53:50Speaker 1: And then the concert looked lame. There were all those
- 53:53Speaker 1: videos of people.
- 53:54Speaker 2: In the end, that nun won. You know, she might
- 53:56Speaker 2: have died, but she was like, and I'm going to
- 53:59Speaker 2: give you the worst choreographer in the world. And then
- 54:01Speaker 2: you're going to see what happens to you.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Glory be to God.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Oh, isn't it funny, little Katy Perry?
- 54:07Speaker 2: Right, look at you now.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Maybe I shouldn't have kissed a girl. Maybe I should
- 54:10Speaker 1: have just lived with girls and not kissed them like me. Anyway.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Speaking of nuns.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Yes.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Rosie O'Donnell, a nun. Wait, we're going to get into
- 54:19Speaker 2: that one more thing. Oh, okay.
- 54:20Speaker 4: But according to this, TMZ exclusive, Orlando Bloom is going
- 54:24Speaker 4: solo to the Bezos-Sanchez wedding without Katy. So they think
- 54:29Speaker 4: all this shit has now affected their marriage.
- 54:33Speaker 2: But isn't she the one who's friends with... Yeah, you're right.
- 54:37Speaker 1: How could this story be true? She was just there.
- 54:39Speaker 2: For the bachelorette party while Kim was.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Going through the trial for the Paris robbers.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:47Speaker 4: Okay, now, honey, and just like that, please.
- 54:52Speaker 2: I'm all caught up. I've seen them all.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I've talked a lot about it.
- 54:55Speaker 4: I want to hear Chris's opinion. What do you think
- 54:58Speaker 4: of this season? What do you think is going on
- 55:00Speaker 4: with this show?
- 55:01Speaker 2: Well, first of all, Um, my wife was a huge
- 55:06Speaker 2: fan of sex in the city.
- 55:07Speaker 1: As most girls are.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Loved it. Had no desire to watch this at all.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 55:12Speaker 2: No desire. And still has not watched it. And then
- 55:15Speaker 2: last night I was kind of telling her a little
- 55:16Speaker 2: bit about it. And she was like, I don't understand
- 55:19Speaker 2: who the show is for. Like, cause people who are
- 55:22Speaker 2: fans of the original one would hate this. And certainly
- 55:25Speaker 2: if you like picked up on this show, you'd be like,
- 55:28Speaker 2: what is this show? Like, none of it makes sense.
- 55:30Speaker 2: If you didn't know the backstory of, of sex in
- 55:33Speaker 2: the city. So that, I agree. Like, who is this
- 55:37Speaker 2: show for? Secondly, this is the second season now, or third,
- 55:41Speaker 2: whatever it is. But this is the second time I've
- 55:43Speaker 2: had to watch an old man jerk off.
- 55:47Speaker 4: Yes, I forgot that Big did it.
- 55:49Speaker 2: Because we had to watch Big jerk off, too. I
- 55:50Speaker 2: forgot that Big... Remember, his glasses were down, and he...
- 55:52Speaker 2: And she was... She was like, touch me. They were doing, like,
- 55:54Speaker 2: a dirty talk, too.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:56Speaker 2: Yeah, right before he wound up dying. No woman.
- 56:00Speaker 1: That's the thing. No woman.
- 56:01Speaker 4: That's why I said in my last episode... Are any
- 56:04Speaker 4: women writing this? Because no women want to see a
- 56:08Speaker 4: guy jerk off. It is not a turn on. But
- 56:10Speaker 4: this guy goes, but gay guys do. And I'm like, yeah,
- 56:14Speaker 4: it's written by gay guys because there's nothing more horrifying
- 56:17Speaker 4: than like licking your palm and like nobody wants to
- 56:21Speaker 4: see how you get yourself off when we're not around.
- 56:23Speaker 2: It's not a turn on. The actor John Corbett must
- 56:26Speaker 2: have been like, really? Like why? Come on. Can we
- 56:29Speaker 2: do something else? I feel like that's so embarrassing to do.
- 56:33Speaker 1: And then Sarah Jessica Parker admitted on Howard Stern, I
- 56:35Speaker 1: don't watch it.
- 56:36Speaker 4: Yeah. So it's not a taped sitcom where even if
- 56:40Speaker 4: you're not in the scene, you saw what other people did,
- 56:42Speaker 4: you had a table read. I think she shows up
- 56:44Speaker 4: for her scenes and gets the fuck out and is
- 56:48Speaker 4: doing some mental health care by not watching it.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Have you noticed, which I think the same thing, because
- 56:53Speaker 2: I've noticed she doesn't really do any scenes with the
- 56:56Speaker 2: new characters outside of the Indian woman.
- 56:59Speaker 6: Seema girl.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Yeah, Seema.
- 57:01Speaker 2: But she's never involved in those whole other... plot lines
- 57:05Speaker 2: you know with the with the black couple and she's
- 57:07Speaker 2: like i'm not getting involved in a whole new plot
- 57:10Speaker 2: lines of characters they're trying to shoehorn in like nobody
- 57:14Speaker 2: wants those plot lines that yeah they seem fake and
- 57:19Speaker 2: they're forced and they're boring they're just i think they're
- 57:22Speaker 2: leaning way too much into comedy.
- 57:24Speaker 4: Or trying yes well just fucking speaking of the other
- 57:28Speaker 4: character the beautiful girl, Nicole Parker, who is a black documentarian.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Her story, which is boring as shit.
- 57:36Speaker 4: But anyway, I see next week that since her female
- 57:40Speaker 4: editor has left, in walks, she goes, oh, what's this,
- 57:45Speaker 4: what's she like? The next episode, they're like, it's not
- 57:47Speaker 4: a she, it's a he. In walks this gorgeous black
- 57:51Speaker 4: man that looks like he was a former professional baseball
- 57:53Speaker 4: player turned, you know, model. Yeah.
- 57:56Speaker 1: And I'm like, I don't know. I've seen a lot
- 57:59Speaker 1: of male editors in my life.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Dan Brown. They're not, they're not this.
- 58:07Speaker 4: They're not, you're in a, yeah, they're not like, I mean, so,
- 58:11Speaker 4: you know, of course she's going to then, you know,
- 58:14Speaker 4: be tempted to have an affair or whatever. And yes,
- 58:18Speaker 4: the comedy. OK, so we talked about like the corny
- 58:21Speaker 4: of the comedy. The comedy writing is horrific.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Horrific.
- 58:25Speaker 2: There's puns that are I watched your episode last week
- 58:29Speaker 2: talking about.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Puns are so painful. Like like I have to blame
- 58:36Speaker 2: all of it on Michael Patrick King. I believe. Comes
- 58:40Speaker 2: from the top. Because he directs it.
- 58:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:42Speaker 2: And the directing is bad. Everything is bad.
- 58:45Speaker 1: The acting is bad. I know.
- 58:46Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. So that's part of the... Right, right.
- 58:48Speaker 2: And just.
- 58:50Speaker 2: And then the whole plot with Cantone, Mario Cantone and
- 58:56Speaker 2: his bread business or whatever. I'm like, this is the
- 59:00Speaker 2: dumbest thing I've ever seen. Okay.
- 59:03Speaker 1: It's so dumb.
- 59:04Speaker 2: And first of.
- 59:05Speaker 4: All, these legs are clearly not the the skinny young
- 59:09Speaker 4: kid like how do you have the legs like that
- 59:12Speaker 4: that are huge muscle like and you're like whatever I
- 59:16Speaker 4: don't know Italian accents if this guy is really Italian
- 59:19Speaker 4: but to me it sounds like a very bad accent
- 59:20Speaker 4: right his boyfriend's Italian and their whole thing I'm like And,
- 59:25Speaker 4: but I, okay, I've watched this episode so many times
- 59:27Speaker 4: because it's so bad.
- 59:29Speaker 1: I made my, I made my friends watch. First I
- 59:31Speaker 1: watched it alone. Then I made my sorority sister sit
- 59:34Speaker 1: through it.
- 59:34Speaker 2: This episode three.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Three.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I made my.
- 59:36Speaker 4: Sorority sister sit through it over the weekend just to,
- 59:39Speaker 4: because I was so angry. Then Shannon spent the night
- 59:42Speaker 4: on Saturday and I made her get in my bed
- 59:44Speaker 4: and watch it.
- 59:45Speaker 1: And she fell asleep. And I was like, I don't
- 59:47Speaker 1: know if I should let you leave the house.
- 59:48Speaker 4: Before I show you the worst scenes. Then yesterday I
- 59:51Speaker 4: made Drake watch it. But I did find one funny
- 59:55Speaker 4: line after I watched it the third time in the
- 59:58Speaker 4: dinner scene with Mario Cantone.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Where Charlotte's like, I'm a mother. And I, everyone's saying, mom,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: where's my clean laundry?
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: Mom, where's my, and then he goes to the girl
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: who was originally Rocky, who was, I think she was trans.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: And now this year they're just not talking about that.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: And then he goes, he comes over with.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: His bread and he goes, Mario Cantone. Yeah, Mario Cantone goes.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Mom, should I wear more deodorant? The answer is yes! Like,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: right to the girl Rocky.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: And I go, that is kind of funny.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: Like, it's so mean to say to a 15-year-old girl,
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: but it is kind of funny. And I'm like, that
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: one he must have ad-libbed himself because he is a comedian.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Like, okay.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: But his whole thing of like, and this one won't
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: wear the jumpsuit to get this whole bread thing of like.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: It's the, first of all.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: And look at this dick. I have a question.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I know, what are they?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: So on this side is the dick.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: I know, what's on the other side? Because they showed
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: several guys.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Okay, so how do you have two dicks?
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: No, I think those are supposed to be the balls, maybe.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: So that's what I said. I said, is it the balls?
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: So can I ask a question? Yeah, go ahead.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: So when you wear tight jeans.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: You split the parts?
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: No. I mean, obviously, this is somebody who's far more
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: well-endowed or would have a fake thing then. Yeah, I
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: don't have that issue.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: But do guys put balls on one side.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: And dick on another? No, it all kind of morphs
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: into one. You know, it just looks like a big
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: ball of flesh.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: Okay, so wait, I want to talk about kind of
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: a cute little thing. Okay, also in episode three, there
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: is a whole.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Fried chicken storyline.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: That starts from the beginning.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Who's that guy, though? The guy who comes in and goes,
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I'm the manager of the.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I need to know.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: I'm like, is he somebody famous that I'm supposed to know?
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: No, this is what I'm saying. I need to know.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Some of these guest stars, who is their parent?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Right. Who is their parent, best friend?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Because it's bad acting. It's a weird look. It's a,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: it's a, but it takes you out of the show. Like,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: not that I, you know, you're like, why is that
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: person involved in the, cause it's odd dress.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Well, also they show them on the plane.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: They show them on the plane.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: And Sarah does, because now they've watched it four times.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I could, they're on the plane. Going to go to
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Virginia to like do her speaking great. Meet Aiden. And
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: she goes, um, And I'm like, and there's a pissy
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: flight attendant who's like, everyone needs to sit down because
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: she's still putting her bag in there. I'm like, all right.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: And she sits down and she's like, can I have
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: a tequila scoda, please?
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: It's my vacation. And he's like, you can wait. And
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: she goes, why can't a gay man just give me
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: what I want? And then later on when they're at
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: the restaurant, then she mentions, I really want fried chicken.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Then they go to the restaurant and Seema goes, I'll
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: have the, is the mama's fried chicken.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Really as good?
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: And I almost feel like trying to make her like
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Kim Cattrall. Like, darling, I want some fried chicken. Bring
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: that grease and put it on my clit. Like, I
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: was like, what did she do?
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: So she's like, is the fried chicken really as good
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: as you say? And then he's, and he's like, oh,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: mama went heart healthy. We got to do something. And
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I was like.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: We got the wrong menu.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: So I'm like, and then we finally get to why.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Someone had the assignment of writing a fried chicken storyline.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: How much did Kentucky Fried Chicken pay them?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Because do you remember when we were at Chelsea lately,
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: they came in and we did like six of these.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: And they're like, we're getting paid a lot of money
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: for you guys to write a sketch about one was tampons.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Bud Light Lime.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Bud Light Lime. And there was like a couple others.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: And honestly, I thought it was kind of fun.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Yeah, they were fun. I thought the challenge- was.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Kind of fun.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: So it was like, as a writing thing, we didn't
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: get any extra money.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: From it, but I thought it was kind of a
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: fun thing.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: We did like an Arby's, too. Remember we all went
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: to an Arby's in the middle of the night?
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Yeah, we'd come and do a special thing.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Yeah, we shot like commercials.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: We each got paid like $ 330 extra dollars, but who
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: knows how much the show or E!
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: Got.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: This was our job, was to write.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: So I'm like, there is no way that Kentucky Fried
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: Chicken didn't give them a million dollars. Yeah.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Because I was like, this.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: This was all for Kentucky Fried Chicken. Someone isn't struggling
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: with weight, but it's to show that it doesn't matter.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: This is what you want to eat. And then does
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: Kentucky Fried Chicken have to approve the storyline? Those are
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: the things of being what we were writers on TV
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: shows that I'm like, I would like to know. Because
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: this was just so boring and made no sense at all.
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: And no one cares about your real estate job.
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: No.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: No.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: And that guy who plays her boss.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: And he's like, I'm 90.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: And I'm like, there's no way that like a big
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: realtor that made it in New York would be an
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: eccentric like San Francisco hippie. That's not who would be
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: the biggest. Look who the biggest realtor people are in
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: New York City. And they're like conservative looking people.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Like what? That was so.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: And isn't that guy who comes in. Yeah. Who takes
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: her job. Isn't he a real realtor? He's on that show.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: And he's done several acting jobs and his acting has
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: not improved.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: No, I know. It's like, now we're going to deal
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: with this guy.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: And then he goes, I like her. You would know her.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: If she's a top realtor, you would already have known
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: her and been like SEMA.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Like, let's work together. Like, it's so stupid. Oh, then.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Let me show you something else.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: So now they're eating the chicken. And I hate fake
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: eating on a show. Like.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: Mm hmm.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Okay, so then.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: Could the foreshadowing not be so freaking obvious? So then
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: she gets a reticar and she goes over those grates
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: that say don't back up.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: And they literally zoom in on the sign. I'm like,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: we got it. Yeah.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: We know she's going to back up through it. Why
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: did you have to show us that?
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: I know all of it. That's what I'm saying. That's
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: the bad directing. It just everything keeps taking.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: You out of it. You're like, what is this?
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: And, yeah, so I'm very frustrated by all that.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Tell me what else you think.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Honestly, I'll say this. I thought Rosie O'Donnell was kind
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: of good.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I'm so sad Rosie left.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: And I would have liked those. They should have kept
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: her in it.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: How great would it have been if they hit it off?
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: And then Miranda was like, so.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: I'm going on a religious retreat with the nun. Like
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: that would have been funny.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Or she's going to church and then Miranda's like, you know,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: I was raised Catholic. Like there could have been a
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: whole funny thing that they could have hit it off.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: It would have been more fun watching them walk through
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: the M & M store than the dumb plot lines
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: they've come up with. You know, they kept goofing on
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: the fact that she was doing like, you know.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: I know, that was also, I mean, like, why would
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: you be, first of all, you decided to sleep with
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: a woman that you met for one second.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Like, you're going to just take home this girl.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: Like, you're that horny to be with another body that
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: you're just like, like, you don't know she's a murderer.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Then you're, like, making fun of the fact that she's not, like, a.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: True blue New Yorker. Like, well, I don't know what
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: it's worth, Miranda, you being with a tourist or with
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: a nun. Like, it was just like, what?
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: And now, of course, the gardener, the new gardener comes
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: in is going to be the new love interest, right?
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Well, that whole thing was like, then she goes up
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: and she's like, you know, your shirt, like.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Home of the Whopper. I'm like, we're doing these jokes?
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: This is what I'm thinking.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: I'm imagining the writers room and they're like, all right,
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: what are your funny jokes? And then somebody was like,
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: I saw this hipster with a Whopper shirt. Like, it
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: would be funny if she was like, that's copywritten. Now,
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: it would maybe make sense if she was a lawyer,
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: copyrighted lawyer or in advertising. Right. she's a realtor, why
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: would she start with that? Your shirt is copywritten. That's
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: what I'm saying, it doesn't go with the cadence of
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: the character, the background of the character.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: And then he's like, well, my attorney's Ronald McDonald.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: Right off the bat, you'd be like, oh, I didn't
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: even know that I, I didn't even think about this,
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: who are you? If you're a gardener, you'd be like,
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: this is a shirt I wore, lady. I don't know,
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: but you're pretty cute. If you're gonna have a romance,
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: he wouldn't be this witty thing who's into gardening. And then, listen, I'm,
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: but I'm like, And then he has his nephew there,
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: and I'm like, okay, what is going on here?
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: So I have a prediction.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: That was another weird catch.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I have a prediction. I have a prediction.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: And everyone, I'm telling you, we thought that he was
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: going to go for Carrie.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Now, Seema likes him, okay, the gardener.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: He has a young adult autistic nephew that he brings
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: to work with him, which I'm all for showing that,
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: but I think it's got to lead to something.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: And because everybody has no original ideas on this writing staff,
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: Seema and him are getting intimate.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: And his nephew is over. This is my prediction. Or Carrie.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: One of them is getting intimate with Gardner.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: And she went and bought like sexy lingerie or something.
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: And he comes in and because he knew like the exact,
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: like statistics of her car, because you know, he's, he's
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: on the spectrum and they have a talent for that,
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: that he's going to come in and go, and she's.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Going to go, I try to cover her like broad underwear.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: And he'd be like, That's Victoria's Secret from 2007. That
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: was a vintage push-up bra. That's going to be the joke.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: You know what? You're probably dead right. That's when I'm
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: completely finished with the show.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: I'll never be finished with the show. I will watch
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: it until I'm the last person watching it.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: I just read an article in New Yorker magazine that said,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: basically that. It said, let's just all watch it right
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: into the ground. Because it brings me passion.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I don't have a passion of hate or love for
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: any other show right now.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: Than this one.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Than this one. And Shannon's falling asleep. And I'm like, no.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: People are saying, Heather, I'm done. I won't watch it.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: And I'm like, no. You have to watch it because
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I'm watching it.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Do you think we're going to have to watch Steve
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: jerk off? Are you ready?
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Come on. Hey, Miranda, remember when we....
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Come on, Miranda. You're going to make me take my
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: cock out. I don't want to do it. This is,
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: it's not right for me.
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: Okay, so, of course, my favorite storyline that I talked
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: about was them going out partying all night.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: I love espresso martini. With the Swedish art.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: And everyone's like, what happened? Why does Charlotte now have
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: these big eyes all the time? Yeah. We were watching it,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: and after she gets hungover, she was putting.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: Eye drops in her eyes, and Drake goes, is that
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: part of the storyline of why her eyes are so
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: big all the time?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: She also seems like she's almost to the point where
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: she's gotten like she's a little mental or something. Yeah,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: it's just like they've become such characters themselves that it's,
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: I don't know, it's all gone. And then the hackiness of, like,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: the old men because they did two different old men
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: like i'm cool right the black guy was like oh
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: my god.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: You're right he was like with lisa yeah girl lisa
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: parker's husband he was like i'm cool right i'm cool
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: right how can it be cool and then also like
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: mom jeans are in right now so that joke is
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: old like they're.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Completely skinny jeans joke is like really.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Right but then also yeah the little girl goes.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: Oh are you going to the club in your mom
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: jeans and i'm like Mom jeans are actually super in
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: right now. So, like, that was a joke from 12
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: years ago that Tina Fey did on SNL.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Like, who are these writers? I can't get the button
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: flies open.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: So he pisses his pants? Like, that's just gross.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: I know. I mean, if I was some of these actors,
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: I'd be like... Honestly, outside of John Corbin and a
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: few others, like, Evan Handler doesn't work that much. He's
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: probably like, I'll do the piss pants.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I get why everyone is like... And why you won't
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: watch it. Right.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Because you're just like.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: And I'm not... I mean, if I was... Them, I'd
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: be like, I'm not going to watch it.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: I'm not going to, you know, and they even did
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: a bit where, where Miranda goes, I'm hate watching Love Island,
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: you know, where, how could this bisexual girl be this
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: into guys and girls and be such a bad picker?
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I'll never. And then, you know, and then she's like,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: you know, you can stop watching. She's like, I can't.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: The people think that was like them knowing that everyone's
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: hate watching.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: And so they had to write that in. Like, we
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: get it. You're hate watching.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Well, you know what? I'm with you though. I kind
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: of watched too. And then there were certain scenes where
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, wasn't the worst scene. You know, so.
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: No, like I was saying, the Adderall is actually a
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: good storyline. And there's going to be something where Aiden
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: then gets pissed at Carrie because he's like, I don't.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Want Wyatt on Adderall. You went and got the Adderall
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: from my ex-wife. Yeah.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: You didn't ask me about it. Like, you need to
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: tell me when you're talking to my ex. Like, we
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: have a problem.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Like, just trust me.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: This is going to end this season, right? Aiden and
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: her over this season. I think we're done with that one.
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: And also, why does a guy that lives in, I'm assuming,
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: a $ 6 to $ 7 million home with a two-story guest house,
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: why is it always because they're rich and they're on
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: a farm they have to.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Have a truck from 1975? You're telling me you have
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: a working farm.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: It's for jerking off so you can lay out and
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: jerk off. Well, it's not great because he beefs the horn. Yeah,
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: he beefs the horn.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: But I'm like, it's with no air conditioning. And he's like, well,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: the air conditioning is good in.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: The house, but you have a truck that does. And
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: you know that you're picking up your girlfriend and her,
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: her ritzy friend. You don't have an extra car.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: That's like a normal car. Like keep the truck for fun.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: But like a rich person would have a cute Bronco
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: that looks old, but it's new and costs $ 150, 000.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: One of the other fun parts of the show is
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: that they have to find a bunch because they're all
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: of a certain age now and they have to find
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: a bunch of around 60 year old actors who aren't famous,
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: you know, because they couldn't, they can't pay that kind
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: of money. So they got to find somebody who's been
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: in the acting game a long time. But the reason
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: why they haven't achieved any success is because they're bad actors.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: You know what I mean? But they're good looking. And
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: so you're seeing at least, like all of them, every
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: guy who talks to Seema, because Seema had a whole
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: thing where there was like nine different guys who came
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: to the bar and she would, you know, give them the,
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: you know, she read them their, whatever.
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: And what boss would ever go to his 55-year-old executive
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: employee and go, I'm buying you a matchmaker because you
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: need to find somebody. No man would ever say that
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: to a 55-year-old single woman.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: They'd be like, you're on your own. But seeing the
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: bad six-year-old actors come in every episode is my favorite part.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: It is amazing.
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: It's the best thing ever. Oh, and then these girls,
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: the art girls are my favorite.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: I mean, this looks like out of a Saturday Night
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Live sketch, this picture.
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. It's like they're trying to. Okay.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Then I want to say this popped up.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: This was a sketch that was done 20 years ago
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: or around then with Bea Arthur playing.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: Ava Goda.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: In a pagoda.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: And then they, I watched the whole thing. I remember it.
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: And it was, what if sex in the city, if
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: they're old?
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: And I watched the whole sketch and Charlotte, the character
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: of Charlotte, who's being played by, um, the mom, the river, the,
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: the lady from, um, facts of life.
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: And then there's Sally's brothers and then there's somebody else
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: and they all have wigs on and they're all acting
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: like the other girls.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: Like the teacher from Fact Life, Charlotte Ray.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Charlotte Ray.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: They go to a nightclub.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Oh. And the same lines that happen with Charlotte where
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: they go, I've had more, I've had hot flashes that
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: are more fun than this night. I'm dreaming of my slippers.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: I was like, oh my God. Oh my God. So
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: it really is a sketch now.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: And then she, yeah, then she's, she's out doing her thing.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: And I mean, it's, it's crazy. Okay, this is a
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: rumor that is going around.
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: I have talked very little about the phenomenon that is Bonnie.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Blue, who is a woman.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: Very attractive, white woman with big blue eyes, perfect body,
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: perfect tan, who does these marathons where people, guys can
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: show up and she keeps trying to break her records.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Yeah, like 1,000 men. And the questions I.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: Have are, is it that she just lays there, like,
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: with her legs in stirrups or whatever, and each guy
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: goes one pump, three pumps? It can't be that every
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: guy is going off. How many constitutes so that she
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: can get to the next one and break the record?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know the rules.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Well, the rumor is that she, in fact, was born male.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: This is my favorite one yet. I have not heard
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: this one.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: And when I heard it, I said, I.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: Don't know if that's true, but as a woman, even
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: the most prolific porn stars in history are flabbergasted by this.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: And it's like, I don't know. Yeah.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Like, this would.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I don't know if it's true.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: I don't know if they just found a guy that
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: looked like her and someone is just creating this rumor.
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: I mean, apparently she says she has parents and they
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: are all supportive. I don't know if we've ever seen
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: the parents. I've wondered if this whole thing was a hoax. Like,
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: is this even true? But you see the men and
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: this and that, so.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: But if someone had.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Like, I mean, if this was the case, it would
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: really be interesting.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: Like the thousand guys, is that something that you could, like,
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: is it on PornHub or is it on OnlyFans? It's
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: something you watch?
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: They'll do these like videos where it's- Or she just says,
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: I did a thousand guys. Like they'll do like a
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: song where she and another girl are like, it's about,
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: like the song will be like, about to get crazy.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: And then these guys all have masks on and they're
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: behind him. Well, now you could just hire actors to
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: do that.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: Right, right, right.
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: And then there's rumors where a piece of them, like
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: when you find out your guy went to the Bonnie
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: Blue or whatever- I'm just like, how do we know
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: if this is even happening?
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: I hope it's not happening. Is there something that you, like,
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: can you watch it on OnlyFans? Like actual insertion or
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: something of a thousand people?
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: I mean, I would think the whole thing, if this
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: is real, yes. And that is how you are making,
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: you know, millions of dollars a month so that eventually
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: you can retire your nether region.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Yeah. I'll tell you this.
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: So I had my girlfriends over for the weekend and
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: they're all in different industries.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: One's in software, one's in, um, you know, pharmaceuticals and one,
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: one is in like HR of like big departments.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: And so there's a lot of AI talk.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Like, like you wouldn't think it was menopause and AI talk.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: A lot of it. Yeah.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: But I was like, actually this, this is more interesting conversation.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: And my one friend said, That, you know, there's talk
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: or whatever that OnlyFans is looking to sell or whatever
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: because they think that OnlyFans will be 100% taken over
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: by AI and these girls.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Won't have the ability to make... The money they're making now.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: You mean AI, like the people will be AI?
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, already we know that the communication and
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: stuff is obviously not them. Or you hire somebody, whether
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: they're in India or in your guest house.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: Or whatever.
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: But, I mean, I still think that if you're a,
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: But it's just like very, anyway, it was just weird.
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: So I don't know if it's true or not. Also,
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: this came across. These girls are real conjoined sisters. And
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: I came across a sketch. They do sketches about themselves
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: being conjoined sisters being funny.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: They just laugh about it.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: Oh, well, that's good. It's one way to handle it.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: It's about how somehow they're talking about how a guy's
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: acting like their mom and they're yelling at him like,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: why did you tie us together to save money or something?
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: I don't know what the sketch.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: Is, but. Oh, that's good. I thought they were going
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: to say they're on OnlyFans. I was like, I don't
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: know if.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I want to do that. I saw this.
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: Steve Carell did a commencement speech at Northwestern.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: And then he goes, and now for our mid-commencement speech,
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: dance break. And the music starts, and it seemed like
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: such a bomb of a joke.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Oh, he did like a dance?
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: He just... Everyone just, like, got up, and he, like, danced, and,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: you know, whoever was near... Oh, isn't this great? Because
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: it's Steve Carell. Yeah. He comes down the audience, and
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: I'm like... So then you do a mid-dance, and then
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you have to go back and talk to.
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: I mean, I can't think of a better, a worse
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: way to, like, do a stand-up bit.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Like, if you're going to sing or dance, you, like,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: do it at the beginning or the end. You don't
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: do it, like, mid... I don't know.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, he's not a stand-up, so he probably learned
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: that when he got back up and tried to.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I am still.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: Having gone to a lot of commencement speeches in my
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: life since I've grown kids, they don't get any more
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: interesting unless you do have like a star.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Right. Like, I.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: Don't, I mean, if I was a college, I would
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: pick a star every time.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: We do not need.
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: The person who won the humanitarian award for, you know,
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: this continent or whatever. We need, like, the Will Ferrells,
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: Steve Carell. I'm sure his speech was great. I just
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: saw the one dance thing. I would have told him,
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: I don't think you need it. But talk about the office.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: Talk about things like something. But anyway.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Oh, Bianca is still on it.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: She went out in a see-through nude one-piece suit.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: And furboats. So she's still doing it without Kanye. So
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: a lot of people said it was Kanye making her
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: dress like that.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: And now she brings her sister along.
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: Oh, good. They're not conjoined, are they?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: No. Tell me what else is going on in your life.
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: Well, I'll ask you a couple of... Yes. With Summertime.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Yes, Summertime is fun.
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Are you familiar with Sardines Summer?
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: No.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: It's Sardine Girl Summer.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: No.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: Have you heard anything about this?
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Please do tell. Oh, okay.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Have you noticed sardines are on everything now? Sardines on
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: every clothing, every handbag, everything.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: What does a sardine even look like?
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: Basically, it's like a little tiny, just a shape of
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: a fish. Okay. And it's on everything.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: I've never even eaten a sardine because it was always
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: like a gross thing.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: That people would have in a can. It's like old
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: men eat it. Yeah. Anyway, it's Sardine Girl Summer. You
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: probably didn't know that.
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: No, I didn't.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: I'm here to tell you, everybody and your listeners, Sardine
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: Girl Summer. I heard about it a couple of weeks
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: ago and I've since mentioned it on my podcast. And
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: everybody is sending me, go to Target. Go to Target.
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: Go to any store. Everything is covered in sardines. Every dress,
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: every shirt.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Does anyone know why? Who started it?
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: It's some fashion thing that came out of like Italy
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: or something. And it's, they're calling it Sardine Girl Summer.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Fascinating.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: So I recommend you're going to go into, you know,
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: on your vacations coming up now. It's July is coming.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: You need to get yourself something sardine. Sardine earrings, sardine,
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: you name it. It's everywhere. Sardine Girl Summer.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Okay, I'm on it.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: And then also, you know, I know you've heard of
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: the Labadoobadoo or whatever, those little dolls.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: So what is the deal?
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: Because I have no idea.
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: First of all, I don't have a real Birkin. I
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: would never buy this to put on purses or whatever.
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: I get why little girls would want it. It's the
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: Beanie Babies of our time or the Cabbage Patch dolls
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: or whatever, and it's a marketing way to get them
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: to go around.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Don't.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: Understand that and don't find it a particularly interesting conversation
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: about it, but whatever.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Good for them.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: My daughter has not asked for these yet. I haven't
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: heard anything about it other than what I'm reading about.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: Labadoodoo's or whatever.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: I think it's little girls, but it's also like adult women.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I see adult women wearing them.
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: But that's just one of those dumb things.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: Kathy Hilton just had a party where all the Labadoobies
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: or whatever came there. It was like, oh, come and
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: you could buy other things. So she's got a jewelry line,
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: but then also they had a big thing where like you.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: Could buy that.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Or they're giving them away to the people at the party.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: They're like 90 bucks a piece or something.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: And I guess it like I guess it started with
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: that whole thing kind of like how there was the
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: unboxing of like food or whatever.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: You don't know what you're going to get. So I
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: guess that's the fun of it.
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: Well, and can I ask you another? Yes. Summer-related question?
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Is there currently, do you have a song of the summer?
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: Have you heard anything where you're like, this is the one?
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Like the Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter last year seemed to
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: be song of the summer.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Well, it's not the one that Charlotte danced to.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: Have you heard Will Smith's new one, Pretty Girls? I did.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: I talked about that on Tuesday. That's pretty rough.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: And I actually thought it was kind of catchy.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Oh, really? It's like.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: How does it go?
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: I like Pretty Girls.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: I don't know that it's going to be a hit.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: No. Yeah. I haven't heard one yet.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: Outside of like maybe Benson Boone or something.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: Mystical, magical. But someone told me it's just physical by
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: Olivia Newton-John. And now when I listen to it, I'm like, oh,
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: it is physical by Olivia Newton-John. It's like the same song.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: It's so funny when you like hear that.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: Anyway, that's it.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: So you're coming to my party next week.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: I am.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: I am very excited.
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: I don't really understand what it is, but I'll be there.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: It's just a celebratory party, past apps, cool drinks.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Cute people.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: How many people?
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Funny people.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: How many people? A hundred. A hundred people?
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Hopefully.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I didn't think. Or 12. I was
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: thinking more along the lines of 12, but a hundred
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: is great.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: No, it's like a real party. Yeah, okay. It's like
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: a real party celebrating people like you.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: But I'm the biggest... I mean, I feel like I
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: need some sort of.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: You're going to get a special thing.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: Outside of you... You're going to get a special situation.
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: There's going to be a Mike moment of me where I.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: I say some things.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: Oh, I don't want to say anything.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: No, I will be toasting you.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: But I'm saying, okay, let's just say the cast of
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: your show, you're the star of the show.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: But if this were the Wizard of Oz.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: You're Dorothy. I'm definitely the Scarecrow.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: 100%. Okay.
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: Just let that be known.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: And then Brandy and Julie are the good witch and
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: the bad witch.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: Right. Guy Branum's the Tin Man. Or the Cowardly Lion,
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: whatever he wants to be. Guy Branum's the Cowardly Lion. Yeah, right, right.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Can someone just put that together?
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I know someone can do that for fun, put a
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: little cast together.
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: But I'm just looking forward to it.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Wait, Spencer Pratt. Prince is Pratt. Oh, yeah, Spencer Pratt.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: He can be the Tin Man. He can be the
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Tin Man.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: And the guy can be the— Cowardly Lion.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: Yes, 100%. And then the two witches, yeah.
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: And then Peter is Oz. Totally.
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Drake is one of the munchkins that's 6'5.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: No, they're both. Drake and Brandon are flying monkeys.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, they're flying monkeys.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: We got it. We figured it out. Anyway, one more thing.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: I brought my summer fashion.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: Let's see it.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: I'm going to Montauk July 1st. I love a Montauk sun. Now,
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: can I just tell everybody, I have no connections anymore.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: I don't know anybody. I know you have a large
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: audience and you have a hipper, cooler audience.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Wait, when do you leave? How long are you there for?
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: I'm there July 1st to the 14th. Like two weeks. Okay, okay.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: But there's like some new places.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: Oh, it's going to be the funnest.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Yeah. There's like a place called Mary Lou's. I think
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: it came from Palm Beach that just opened in Montauk.
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: And it's just like impossible. So if anybody knows anything,
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: get in touch with me. You know how to do it.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Here goes. This is what you're going to be seeing.
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: Yeah, if you can help him get a reservation or
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: a better table, reach out. I just don't like the brim.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Of the hat.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: But you don't like the flats.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: But it's not terrible.
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: I'm not horrified at all.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: I like your blue glasses that you said were douchey. Oh,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: I have.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: I bring like seven different pairs of glasses. I would
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: do the.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: Blue one with this look because the blue shirt.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Yeah. What do you think of like.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: Why this shirt?
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: Because it's like 4th of July.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: But it says 25.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: 20 years.
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: 2025.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: I hope nobody thinks I'm 25.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: But it's supposed to be like a football theme.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you know, it's fun. People go, look at
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: this guy. Where did you buy it?
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: I don't want to know.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: Oh, you don't want to know.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: I do want to know.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: I think I was like at an American. Like Noah,
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: like an American Eagle, like at four kids. Like a,
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: you know, if you're 22, you shop there.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: I was like at an American Eagle. Okay. I was
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: on the road, you know, killing time.
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: But look, your shirt, your shoes match perfectly. They're white
- 1:29:16Speaker 4: with a blue stripe.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: It's a whole thing.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: Baby blue stripe. I think, I think it's great.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: I think it's great.
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: But this is, you know, where it's a whole thing.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: It's a party place. I can't, you can't be in,
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: you can't wear like a suit.
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: For 4th of July, I will be at my home here.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: In the Westlake area.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: And where I live, we don't have like, it's not
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: like we can see the fireworks from our house.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: 4th of July is always a really hard day.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: How come you choose not to like go to like
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: do a 4th of July like beach party?
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: Beach vacation we've done that but i i just want
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: to stay in my neighborhood because there's they'll be fun
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: like i'll just we have a nice pool so we'll
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: maybe we'll invite some people over whatever yeah but if
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: we want to actually first of all i'm gonna be
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: totally honest okay i last a lot of fourth of
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: julys we have started the pool fun the boozing and
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: i have been.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: Asleep before the fireworks I agree.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: Me too. And asleep, you know, passed out slash. Because
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: what people don't mention is it's got to be real
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: dark for the fireworks. So then it really starts at
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: like 10 p.m. Yeah.
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: And then if you have to get somewhere and then
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: you have to set up your blankets, whatever, who cares?
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: And as the kids got older, they didn't fucking care.
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: So then I'd be like, oh, my God, I miss
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: the fireworks again.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: And so.
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: It's, I mean, I'm definitely, I want people to come
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: over and I also want to be invited to people's houses.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: And I want to be invited to anybody that has
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: like a boat in Westlake because there's a big thing
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: that happens in Westlake where people get on their little
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: duffy boats and people tie them together and it's kind of.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Like a crazy thing. Yeah.
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: So that could be fun in the day, but then still,
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: how you can keep it going, drinking or not, how
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: you can keep it going from, A barbecue for lunch
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: until 10 at night.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: I can't. Yeah, I feel like, you know, the sex
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: in the city, you know, with the espresso martinis, you know,
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: I can't keep going.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: It's like I got to split up the thing.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: And I always remember one of my bigger regrets in
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: life for partying.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Was I had a choice. I was a single girl
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: in my 20s living in Brentwood.
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: And I had a choice to go to the Pacific
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: Palisades with this couple who had a cute house and
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: little girls that was my sister's friend. And I was like, oh,
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: that's beautiful. They have a cute, it was a nice house.
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: It wasn't even a crazy house. They're having a little
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: pool party. And I'm like, and I was looking for
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: a husband. I was thinking maybe he had a, maybe
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: he had a wife or something. I mean, maybe he
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: had a guy. But it was pretty family friendly. Then
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: I was going to, Plan on driving all the way.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: To Los Feliz to go to a party.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: Impossible.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: Where all the Groundlings people were. Yeah. And some SNL
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: people that were home for the week.
- 1:32:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: But by the time I left the Pacific Palisades.
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: I just was like the thought to try to go
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: all the way. And I didn't.
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: And I heard like Will Ferrell was there.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: And Agosta. Like all these fun people.
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: Christopher.
- 1:32:29Speaker 4: And I was almost like, why did I go to
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: the Palisades party.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: In the start?
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: I've had so many times where I've been in Malibu,
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: trying to go from one party to another.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: You can only choose.
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: One location in LA. There's no two parties, especially in
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: Los Angeles.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: Unless it's all within the same neighborhood.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: Barely that.
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: Yeah, but you can if it's in the same neighborhood.
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: If you have to get on a freeway to go
- 1:32:55Speaker 4: to another event.
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: It's not going to happen. You shouldn't.
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: You shouldn't.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: It's a lot of stress. Yeah. Also, thank you to
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: our forefathers who made us Americans.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: Thank you. Absolutely.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: That too.
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: All the people that died in 1776. Yeah. All that.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: All that.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: Chris, tell everybody where they can see you.
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: Oh, my God. This weekend, I'm in Escondido, California, coming up.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: You guys listen to this on Thursday. I'm in Escondido
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: Friday and Saturday, Grand Comedy Club, Escondido, California. And then
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: I'm off for a little while. Just off the road.
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: I'm off the road until the end of August. I
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: think the last weekend of August, I'm in Greenville. But
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: every friend, Jolodot Fund's going to have all the fall dates.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: I have a ton of dates coming up in the
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: fall and the winter. But the summer, I'm off, except
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: for Escondido California Grand Comedy Club this Friday and Saturday night.
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: I love it. And then I'm in Montauk. Hook it up, people.
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: Hook it up.
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: Seriously, when we say hook it up, we are not
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: asking for a free meal.
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: No, nothing. We're asking for a girl to.
- 1:33:54Speaker 4: Be like, I'm the manager. What night do you want
- 1:33:57Speaker 4: to come in? I got a cute table for you.
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: And I can make your life a little better.
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: And I like your podcast.
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: Thank you. That's it.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: And, of course, Chris is going to post about it
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: and talk about it, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: Of course.
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: So, you know, or if you have a place that
- 1:34:13Speaker 4: he hasn't mentioned that you are like, we're better than
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: that spot, let him know.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: Also, that too. I don't know anything anymore, you know?
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: And it always makes me look good in front of
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: my brothers and stuff.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: No, because you're Spongebob Square Podcaster.
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: I know. And the people will be like, why is.
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: He wearing— That's a great joke.
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: And to get back to the anger of that, I
- 1:34:34Speaker 4: was like, okay, so the young guys in the law
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: firm are making fun of a 60-year-old married father of
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: two for.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: Not going to nightclubs? Who the fuck at 60 is
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: going to nightclubs? So he's like, they call me Spongebob
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: Square Partner. Yeah.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: The young kids call Chris Frangiole Spongebob Square Podcaster.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: That's why I wear this shirt.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: So who was watching?
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: So a 30-year-old man is making a Spongebob reference to
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: tease his.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: Like, that's where I'm like, that's why you guys, that's
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: why the writing is so bad.
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: But I'm like, if there's a writer's room, doesn't anybody go,
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: should we come up with something better than that one?
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: You know, I feel like it's, they just take the
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: first joke.
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: I don't know how much collaboration is happening in rooms.
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: I know that was one of the bigger things that
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: was part of the writer's guild strike.
- 1:35:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: Like they were like, no, we're not going to do
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: the weeks of prep with everybody together.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: Cut that out. And you're just going to have to
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: like write.
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: It off by yourself. It shows. It really fucking shows
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: on a lot of shows. A lot of shows.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: A lot of things like don't like even the friends
- 1:35:39Speaker 4: and neighbor show, which I kind of like.
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: There's a lot of things that like don't make sense,
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: like casting wise and, Even though that's a pretty decent show.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: It's still annoying me.
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: That's Jon Hamm.
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: Yeah. It's pretty good.
- 1:35:53Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: I've heard.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: You know what? That's a good one to download for
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: your flight to New York.
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: I like to download like a series.
- 1:36:00Speaker 4: I feel like the time goes quicker on a five-hour
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: flight if it's a series.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: Than if it's like two movies.
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: Because you're like, okay, I got one. Okay, I only
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: have two more left. And you're like looking forward to
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: the next thing. I think that makes the five hours
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: go by so fast.
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: I'm doing it.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: Love you, Chris.
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: Love you back. Thank you for having me.
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: And everybody, listen to Cover to Cover. It covers all
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: the funny topics.
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: Cover to Cover is the podcast, everybody. Go listen to that. And,
