- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
- 0:06where we left off with the Sarah Helen interview with
- 0:10Congress Ms Toland, and then just to go back to
- 0:14something that you mentioned earlier. You had mentioned that mister
- 0:17Dyke helped you get an attorney at some point. Is
- 0:19that correct? Answer? Yes? Question, and I apologize if this
- 0:23is repetitive, But at what time frame was at answer?
- 0:27I believe for sure around twenty fifteen. I'm trying to
- 0:31think if it was sooner than that. I don't know
- 0:33if he had anything to do with my very first attorney,
- 0:36Bruce rein Hart, but he helped higher. I think it
- 0:38was twenty fifteen. It was Scott Link, Justin Chew, and
- 0:42a few others that I don't remember that. I think
- 0:45it may have been two different firms. Question. That's okay,
- 0:49I'd actually like to talk about Bruce Reinhart. You said
- 0:52that he was your first attorney. One was that answer
- 0:55two thousand and eight or nine? Probably question for the
- 0:58purpose of the non prosecution agreement or something separate? Answer? No,
- 1:04just to represent me in a deposition for a civil suit.
- 1:08Question okay. And did Jeffrey Epstein help Was he involved
- 1:11in that process at all? Answer? Yes, question getting the attorney?
- 1:15Answer he found them, he hired him, he paid him.
- 1:18He would have discussions with Bruce about my depositions. Question
- 1:23and what did you understand his Bruce Reinhardt's relationship to
- 1:26be with Jeffrey Epstein. Answer Bruce shared an office with
- 1:31Jeffrey's attorney, Jack Goldberger, so I felt more like he
- 1:34was working for him and not me. Question and did
- 1:38you know if mister rein Hart was still working for
- 1:40the US Attorney's Office at that time? Answer? I don't
- 1:44think I was aware that he worked for the US
- 1:46Attorney's Office until much later. Question okay, answer yeah, question
- 1:50thank you, Miss Brignac. Can you list for us the
- 1:54associates of mister Epstein that you interacted with the most
- 1:57frequently in working for mister Epstein, Miss am like other
- 2:01people that work for mister Epstein or provided services to
- 2:04mister Epstein, Yes, staff or outside people, Miss Brignac. Staff.
- 2:10The question is can you list for me the other
- 2:12associates of mister Epstein that you work with most frequently
- 2:16in your role as his assistant? Answer? All the house staff,
- 2:21the pilots, the chefs. Question is there anyone that we
- 2:24have not yet referenced today that you work with frequently
- 2:27in your position as his assistant? Answer? I mean all
- 2:31the house staff Richard Barnett, Lennon, Jojo Fontania, Jana SEUs
- 2:35banisek Luella Rabbeo, Bryce and Karen Gordon, Baldsen, Kotrin. I
- 2:41mean those would have been the ones that were around
- 2:43the longest. In the house staff, they always ended. I
- 2:45mean most of the house staff work for him for
- 2:48probably twenty years. Question were any of them aware of
- 2:52the abuse by mister Epstein's toward you? Answer? The house
- 2:56staff would have been aware when I slept in his bed.
- 2:58For sure, New York you would call me and have
- 3:01me sleep with them, because they would have to open
- 3:03the door for me when I came over at night.
- 3:06What extent they knew what was happening, I don't know,
- 3:09but they would have known that I had spent the night.
- 3:12Question can you name them? Answer Lennon, Jojo Fontania. I
- 3:16feel like the island staff would have been aware. Question
- 3:19who would that be? Answer? Miles and Kathy Alexander for
- 3:22the first few years, and then Bryce and Karen Gordon
- 3:26during the latter part question. Thank you, mister Emmer. We've
- 3:30had another member joined. Can she please introduce herself for
- 3:33the record. Miss Stansbury, good afternoon. I'm Congresswoman Stansbury, New
- 3:38Mexico's first congressional district. Thank you, mister Emmer. Miss Bobert,
- 3:43I believe you had some questions that you wanted to ask.
- 3:46Miss Bobert. Yeah, in some redacted files, you're listed as
- 3:49number five as a co conspirator. If you had immunity,
- 3:53would you be able to give information about the other
- 3:55people that are listed as co conspirators? Kellen? I don't
- 3:59know that that's a representation. Bobert. Did the DOJ ever
- 4:03interview you and tell you that you are a co conspirator? Kellen? No,
- 4:07I wasn't aware that I was being included in his
- 4:09non prosecution agreement. Bobert. How much time do we have remaining?
- 4:15Tolin five minutes? Bobert. Okay, there's an email that was
- 4:19redacted and the email is to Sarah Kay. There are
- 4:22a couple of Sarah Kays in these files that have
- 4:24been redacted. This would be from Francis Derby and this
- 4:27is you or excuse me, Sarah Kay saying that Jeffrey
- 4:30Epstein was going to start eating regular food again and
- 4:33eating less jerky. Are you familiar with this email, Miss Kellen?
- 4:37Vaguely with the subject Bobert Okay. So that said he
- 4:41has six bags of it downstairs in his freezer for
- 4:43his next trip. I know that you've answered some reference
- 4:46to these food questions. But is this one hundred percent
- 4:49undoubtedly regular normal beef jerky from an animal that people consume, Kellen,
- 4:54one hundred percent, Miss Bobert where gets cut off by Kellen?
- 4:58The chef made homemade beef jerkey for Jeffrey and he
- 5:01was obsessed with it. Bolbert. What chef was this? Kellen?
- 5:05Francis Derby was the chef Bobert Okay? And did you
- 5:09ever order specific items that were unusual? We saw that
- 5:12there was a large purchase of sulfuric acid toward the
- 5:15end of Jeffrey Epstein's stay on Little Saint James Island.
- 5:18Did you ever see such purchases made? Kellen? No, Ham,
- 5:22Do you have the time period for that, just to
- 5:24the extent it might help Bolbert, I can get that
- 5:27time period. It was much later. It was probably around
- 5:30twenty nineteen or so that that happened. Ham. Oh, she
- 5:34wasn't working, so she wouldn't know. Bolbert correct. I'm just
- 5:39asking if in your time did you see any unusual
- 5:42purchases like one hundreds of gallons of sulfuric acid being
- 5:46made Kellen, No, Bolbert, in every piece of correspondence you
- 5:51had with Jeffrey Epstein and his associates, the words you
- 5:54said were the exact words you meant, and there were
- 5:57no coding. There was no coding used whatsoever. Kellen correct. Bobert, Okay,
- 6:02that's all I have. Brignak. Is there anything that I
- 6:05have not asked you today that you believe is relevant
- 6:08to this inquiry? Kellen, I think in general that I
- 6:11would like to kind of bring awareness to and I
- 6:13said it in the beginning of just being educated on
- 6:17the grooming process. I think it's really important because I
- 6:20think there's been so much sensationalism and so many conspiracy
- 6:24theories around Jeffrey that it has become. I think the
- 6:26dangers are that people think it was such an open
- 6:29thing and there was so many things happening out in
- 6:32the open, and how did nobody know what was going on?
- 6:36But I think Jeffrey was a true master manipulator and
- 6:39he knew how to compartmentalize and what he allowed certain
- 6:42people to see and know. And I think it's because
- 6:45it wasn't so obvious that it's really important part for
- 6:48people to understand, and it's more important if you want
- 6:51to have bring awareness to this to other situations, so
- 6:54people it's like the covert nature of it, like the
- 6:58grooming and you know, the targeting of pable victims, gaining
- 7:01their trust kind of essentially trapping them. It's more of
- 7:05the psychological abuse more than anything that allows for the
- 7:08sexual abuse to happen. So I kind of think educating
- 7:12people on that is really important because a lot of
- 7:14people don't understand how it works from the outside. They
- 7:18kind of say, like, why didn't you leave, or how
- 7:21didn't you know this? Or how didn't you know that.
- 7:24It's kind of like the gas lighting and the control. Brignac,
- 7:28thank you, miss Ham. Could I just clarify one thing
- 7:31if we have time. Just mister Burlison asked you about
- 7:34meetings with Ehud Barock, and I know you mentioned New York,
- 7:38but you met with Barack in other countries as well.
- 7:41Kelln in Israel. Ham. Yeah, I just want to be
- 7:45clear that the meetings weren't just in New York, Kelln.
- 7:48We were in Israel with etwud Brock one time, Burlisten,
- 7:51and there was never times where he was briefing or
- 7:54being briefed. Did you see that, Kellen. I wouldn't have
- 7:57been present like in their private meetings. It was all
- 8:01just personal Kellen. I don't know what the subject matters were.
- 8:05They seem to meet each other quite often, but I
- 8:08don't know what the subject matter was in their discussion Brignac.
- 8:11Miss Kellen, there were instances today in which you refuse
- 8:15to answer. We understand that you're here voluntarily and we
- 8:18appreciate your testimony for the record. Would you invoke your
- 8:22Fifth Amendment rights against self incrimination in response to any
- 8:26or all of the questions if you were compelled to
- 8:28answer them in another setting, Miss Ham, I think we'd
- 8:31have to go through those questions by question, and so
- 8:35we've identified what she's able to talk about today. But
- 8:39to go through a question by question in a voluntary setting,
- 8:42in a non deposition about how she would respond, we're
- 8:45not prepared to do that. You know, as I've mentioned,
- 8:48I think the record reflects this. She's answered a lot
- 8:51of questions today and she truly is trying to be
- 8:54helpful to the committee's investigation. But we have to consider
- 8:57the impact on her, consider the impact on other victims,
- 9:01and consider you know, her legal rights and her protection,
- 9:05and so we're trying to give as much information as
- 9:07we can under those parameters. Miss Brygnac, thank you, Chairman. Comer,
- 9:13Miss Kellen, we greatly appreciate your willingness to come in today.
- 9:16I can't imagine how difficult this has been for you,
- 9:19but this has been very helpful to us, and we
- 9:22sincerely want to provide justice for the survivors, and I
- 9:25think your testimony today has been very helpful for us. So,
- 9:29just on the behalf of the Oversight Committee, I want
- 9:32to thank you for being here today. Kellen, Thank you Brignac.
- 9:36We'll go off the record now they're back on the record. Question,
- 9:40Miss Kellen, good afternoon. Answer Hi. Question. I'm going to
- 9:44start by following up on the conversation during the previous
- 9:47round about the removal of certain items from Jeffrey Epstein's properties.
- 9:52I think you spoke about this at some length. I
- 9:54don't want to make you repeat yourself, but I do
- 9:56want to make sure that we're clear on the chronology
- 9:59and the detail. So I understand from that discussion, first
- 10:03of all, that you overheard a phone call involving another
- 10:05assistant redacted. Is that correct? Answer? Correct? Question? The court
- 10:11reporter needs a verbal yes answer? Oh sorry, yeah, sorry? Question?
- 10:16Thank you? And could you just recount the conversation again
- 10:19so that we're clear on the participants and the substance
- 10:22of it. Answer. Jeffrey and I were on the island
- 10:25and I heard him on the phone with redacted to
- 10:28tell her to go to the house. Question When did
- 10:30this conversation take place? Answer? Sometime in two thousand and five,
- 10:34I believe. Question And mister Epstein told redacted to go
- 10:38to the house. Sorry I interrupted you. Answer. Yeah, she
- 10:41lived in Miami. She was based in Miami with her husband,
- 10:45so she would have been near Palm Beach. So he
- 10:47told her to go to the house get the computers,
- 10:50and it was my understanding to give them to his attorney.
- 10:53Did he say which attorney? Question? Answer? I believe it
- 10:56was Roy Black, but I don't remember like he knew
- 10:59that at the time time or if I found out later.
- 11:02Question and when he said, get the computers. Did he
- 11:05mention any other type of equipment or hardware or was
- 11:08it just computers generically? Answer? I just remember computers generically.
- 11:15Question do you know whether Jeffrey Epstein had retained a
- 11:18private investigator at that point in time? Answer? I knew
- 11:22he had one. I don't know exactly when he came
- 11:24into the scene. He had a strange voice and like
- 11:27a lisp. Answer, but I think it was William Riley.
- 11:32Was his name? Was there any mention of William Riley
- 11:36during the phone conversation with redacted? Answer? I don't remember specifically.
- 11:41Question And do you have any knowledge with respect to
- 11:44where the computers ultimately ended up? Answer? I don't. Question.
- 11:49I understand that there was another conversation that took place
- 11:52in New York and this concern the removal of the
- 11:55directory that we spoke about this morning. Is that correct? Answer? Yes?
- 12:00Question And when did that conversation take place? Answer that
- 12:04was I believe it was Valentine's Day of two thousand
- 12:06and six, just because I remember he called me during
- 12:09Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend at the time, and
- 12:12he had me come to the house. Question and when
- 12:14you got to the house. Who was there? Answer Darren
- 12:17Endyke and other attorneys. I believe it was Gerald Leftcourt
- 12:20and potentially other attorneys. I just don't remember exactly. Question
- 12:25was mister Riley there? Answer? No, he was Florida based.
- 12:29Question And when you arrived this was at mister Epstein's
- 12:32house in New York? Is that correct? Answer? Correct? Question? Okay?
- 12:37And when you arrived at this meeting? Do you recall
- 12:39what was said? Answer? He just told me what to
- 12:43go around the house and gather into the dining room downstairs.
- 12:46Question he being answered Jeffrey. Question And what did he
- 12:50tell you? Answer? He told me to grab printed photographs
- 12:53and directories, is what I remember. And it seemed that
- 12:56the attorneys were gathering everything that they were going to take.
- 13:01Question did the attorney say anything? Answer? I don't have
- 13:03a specific recollection. Question And the directories that mister Epstein
- 13:07directed you together? Are those the same directories that we
- 13:10spoke about this morning? Answer? Yes? Question and where were
- 13:14those stored? Answer? They were replaced by all the phones
- 13:18in all the houses. Question so these were hard copies? Answer? Yes.
- 13:22Question And how many of them were there? Answer many?
- 13:26They were in all the houses by all the phones.
- 13:29Question and so you gathered them up? Answer yes. Question
- 13:33did anyone else do that with you? Answer? I don't remember.
- 13:37Question And after you gathered them, what did you do
- 13:40with them? Answer? I put them on the dining room
- 13:43table on the dining room table. Question okay, and then
- 13:46what happened? Answer? I don't know. Question did anyone say
- 13:50anything about where they would ultimately be taken? Answer no,
- 13:54I just the general understanding that his lawyers would be
- 13:57taken them. I don't know where they took them or
- 14:00what they did with it. Question do you have any
- 14:03knowledge with respect to where the directories ultimately ended up?
- 14:06Answer no. Question And you mentioned mister Endyke was part
- 14:10of the group. Did he have a particular role in
- 14:12the endeavor? Answer I'm not sure. I think he was
- 14:15just Jeffrey's in house council, so he kind of had
- 14:18his hands in all things legal. Question if I could
- 14:21just turn back for a moment to the investigation in
- 14:24Florida that you were asked about in the previous round.
- 14:27Was there any point in time at which Jeffrey Epstein
- 14:30told you not to cooperate with law enforcement? Answer? No,
- 14:34question did he ever tell you what to say? To
- 14:36law enforcement. Answer no, I was never approached by law enforcement.
- 14:41Question did anyone else instruct you not to interact with
- 14:45law enforcement in the event they communicated with you? Answer
- 14:49not that I recall. Question there was mention during the
- 14:52previous round of the Florida Science Foundation, and I take
- 14:55it you're familiar with that entity. Answer yes. Question do
- 14:59you have an understanding as to when the Florida Science
- 15:02Foundation was set up? Answer? I don't know if it
- 15:05existed before his work release. Question do you have any
- 15:08understanding as to why it was set up? Answer? I
- 15:11assumed it was so we could get work release, have
- 15:13somewhere to go. Question to your knowledge, did the Florida
- 15:16Science Foundation have any genuine operations? Answer? I have no idea.
- 15:22Question did you ever hear anyone suggests that Florida Science
- 15:26Foundation was set up simply in order to give Jeffrey
- 15:28Epstein a place to do his work release? Answer that
- 15:32felt like what was happening? Question did anyone ever say that? Answer?
- 15:36I don't know if those exact words, but that's generally
- 15:39what I understood. Question do you recall any conversations about that? Answer?
- 15:44Not particularly. I just remember like being tasked with buying
- 15:48furniture and setting up the office, Miss Ham, Would you
- 15:52mind on the Palm Beach Police if you don't, if
- 15:54we could clarify something you interacted with the pom Beach
- 15:58Police before the search, weren't right You mentioned this before,
- 16:01but relating to the theft in the house, Kellen Wright
- 16:04like before he was being investigated and they came to
- 16:07put cameras in to catch the thief. Ham, But that
- 16:10was only that was the only time that you interacted.
- 16:15Question just a few follow up questions with respect to
- 16:18the birthday book that was discussed in the previous round.
- 16:21If I understood correctly, and please tell me if I
- 16:24got this wrong. You were involved in scamming images from
- 16:27the birthday book? Is that right? Answer? Yes? Question okay,
- 16:31And that was before the book was presented to Jeffrey Epstein.
- 16:35Answer before Glaine reached out to whoever she wanted to
- 16:38participate with the book, and then they would give a submission,
- 16:42and then we would scan that submission and print it
- 16:45out uniform so they were all the same size and
- 16:47on the same size of paper, and then we had
- 16:51all those papers bound into leather bound books. Question I understand,
- 16:55thank you? Do you recall the specific entry in the
- 16:57birthday Book that was provided by Donald Trump. Answer? I
- 17:01don't question. Did Donald Trump submit that entry directly to
- 17:04Glenn Maxwell? Answer most likely? Question Okay, do you recall
- 17:09any conversation about Donald Trump's contribution to the birthday book? Answer?
- 17:15I don't really remember any specific contributions to the book.
- 17:18I didn't even remember my own question by misredacted. I
- 17:23just have a few questions for you, miss Kellen. In
- 17:26the previous round, you spoke about SLK Designs employing a
- 17:29woman named or redacted? Was this the only other person
- 17:33besides you that worked at SLK Design? Answer? Yeah? Question
- 17:37and who did SLK? What were the clients of SLK Design?
- 17:41Was it just Epstein? Answer? Just Epstein? Question okay? And
- 17:45are you familiar with the name ARDA. Bescardis Answer yes?
- 17:50Question who is he? Answer? He's an immigration attorney that
- 17:53Darren Endyke introduced me to to help with the application
- 17:57redacted visa? Question? Did he work for Epstein or you aware? Answer?
- 18:02I think he had his own firm, but I know
- 18:04that I think he did a lot of work for Jeffrey.
- 18:06I remember him making when he introduced me. He said
- 18:10he would give me a good price because he had
- 18:12a lot of history with Darren, so it seems that
- 18:14they had work together in the past. Question do you
- 18:17know any of the work that they did together in
- 18:19the past. Answer? I think he helped with one of
- 18:22Jeffrey's girlfriends that I knew of. Other than that, I'm
- 18:25not entirely sure. Question when you say helped Kellen help
- 18:30with their visa? Question and do you know which girlfriend
- 18:33that was? Answer redacted? Question was this the only time
- 18:37that you interacted with Arta? Answer? Yes, question thank you
- 18:42answer during that process? Question Okay, I have a few
- 18:45questions for you about Frederick Focai. I would just like
- 18:49to get a better sense of the relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 18:52What was your understanding of that relationship? Answer? Jeffrey took
- 18:57me and himself in Glaine and we all went to
- 18:59Fakai salon to get get our hair done. And I
- 19:01believe that Jeffrey help broke a deal with Forkai and
- 19:04L brands Less Wexner's company. I believe they bought for
- 19:07Kai's brand. Question do you know when that deal would
- 19:09have been Answer? It was during my employment, because I
- 19:13remember his salon changed locations. It was like near the
- 19:16channel of the Chanelle building at first, and then it
- 19:18moved to Henry Bendel, which less Wexner owned. Question Okay,
- 19:23so early on in your employment or Kellen maybe within
- 19:26the first few years. Question so was your understanding of
- 19:30their relationship Epstein and Forkai a social relationship or a
- 19:34business relationship? Answer? Both would be my understanding. I do
- 19:39remember a flight that Forkai took on his plane to
- 19:42Paris one time. Question for social activities. Answer I think
- 19:46he was just catching a ride. Question do you know
- 19:48how the two of them met? Answer? I don't. Question
- 19:52it was before you met for Kai and Epstein. Answer correct.
- 19:56Question and you mentioned that you and Galaine and Epstein
- 19:59would get your hair cut there. Are you aware of
- 20:01other women that either work for Epstein or were just
- 20:04in his orbit that would also go and get their
- 20:06haircut with Forkai? Answer yes. Question were you aware of
- 20:11Epstein introducing women to Forkai? Answer for Kai introduced me
- 20:15to Epstein the first time I met him? Question okay,
- 20:18but not Epstein. Answer I don't know the other way.
- 20:21Question okay, And you mentioned Wexner, So I'd just like
- 20:24to briefly touch on you mentioned meeting him a couple
- 20:26of times. Were you ever aware of Epstein stealing money
- 20:29from Wexner? Answer? No, I only found out about that
- 20:32in the press when Wexner said it happened. Question okay,
- 20:36thank you redacted. Question you mentioned Leslie Groff previously. What
- 20:41was your relationship with her? Answer? We were co workers.
- 20:44She was like Jeffrey's executive assistant that worked in the
- 20:47office in New York. Question would you say that we
- 20:50were close? Answer? We were friendly, but nothing outside of work.
- 20:54Question when you would go to New York, where would
- 20:56you like? What space would you typically work out of? Answer?
- 21:00So the first year from me about two thousand and
- 21:03one two, I want to say twenty ten, I worked
- 21:05out of Glaine's house in New York, out of her
- 21:07townhouse on sixty fifth Street. She had an office in
- 21:11the bottom floor. And then when Jeffrey was released from
- 21:14house arrest in Palm Beach and came to New York,
- 21:17I started working out of the townhouse at seventy first Street.
- 21:21Question when ms Groff started working for mister Epstein, did
- 21:24she also work out of the townhouse? Answer? So, she
- 21:27was at the Madison office in the beginning, and then
- 21:29when Jeffrey got rid of that office. He took over
- 21:32two apartments at three oh one to eat sixty sixth Street,
- 21:35and she worked in that office, one of those offices.
- 21:39And then when Jeffrey got back to New York after
- 21:41house arrest, Leslie, when Jeffrey was in New York, she
- 21:45would work out of that house. Otherwise I think she
