Eddie Olczyk is stepping down from his Kraken TV analyst role to focus on family as he nears his 60th birthday, after a whirlwind 20-year broadcasting career that included 65 national games last season and 15 seasons with the Blackhawks. Though he loved his time in Seattle — even living nearby and bonding with his hockey-obsessed family, including his son on the broadcast team and brother as an assistant GM — he’s ready to dial back his schedule and spend more time at home in Chicago with his wife.
