HuttFest, a vibrant celebration of Pacific and Māori culture, wrapped up its five-day run at the Walter Nash Centre after growing from seven schools in 2012 to eighty-seven groups this year — all without competition, just pure pride. Students of all ages took the stage to honor their heritage, connecting with ancestry and community through dance and song, even if language fluency isn’t perfect.
