- speaker-0: Show us your tips, Dagging Beaver, for a weekend previewed his Caulfield Guinea's Day. Beaver, what's going on? speaker-1: Mate, just here living the dream. about to chat to you about weekends racing, which is always very exciting. And other than that, mate, B A U. speaker-0: Yeah, about the same. Beautiful weather at least in in western Sydney. Drying So looking forward to that. A bit of cricket tonight. Yes. Bathest weekend. speaker-1: Yeah, so happening in sport this weekend. speaker-0: Yeah. But enough to keep us busy. More importantly, they went here to talk about racing. A bit of a tough slog last weekend, if I'm being speaker-1: Was it tough. Yeah, real tough slog to be honest. It was the the wet tracks really played a little bit of havoc. and some of the horses that's looked to be that they would go well kind of raised a bit of a question mark over So hard to get a guide on to whether to hold too much into that form or just scrap it and start again. You know, so horse our best bet Leopolo. Yeah, just tailed out last, just obviously didn't handle the gullying, but what does that mean? Does it mean it goes for a spell or do they push on and hope it was just an anomaly? speaker-0: Yeah, I dunno. didn't help my day. It was all downhill after that to be honest. But probably could handle a few things differently. Nelly got out with g just folk in the last, but speaker-1: Yeah, it's a good each wave value bit there for you. speaker-0: would have been nice if it had a one. Anyway, we do it all again tomorrow. Try it bounce back at Caulfield where the rail goes back to the true. It's will be a dead track. Doesn't look to be too much around down south in terms of weather. Maybe a little bit of drizzle. we'll just see how the inside holds up. Hopefully we get get a decent enough even playing field. We kick off with the first, which is seventy hundred meter benchmark eight. It's a good race this. One I struggled with so I think this is a hot little race. What did would you do? I'll let you open a batting, what do you find? Yeah. speaker-1: You're right, it's it is a hot little race. The top five have all won their last two or three starts, which is outstanding form for those horses and and the six one won its last start coming into this race. So and over the seventeen hundreds a distance that most haven't been tried or tested over before. I've settled on number ten just desserts. I think it might take up the lead here from gate four. And I'm just hoping that we can control the pace. Maybe the inside might be a bit of an advantage early on and hopefully it can kick away and just hold on. But as we said, there's plenty of chances here. I thought the main danger was the the V E P VIP. speaker-0: B yeah. speaker-1: V I P. yeah, very good. VIP. interesting way of spelling it. I like it now. yeah, it can go well. It's obviously got the near enough to outside barriers. So where it posies up might be a bit of a a key there. So it's gonna have to make a bit of a sustained run and just opening just desserts can be a little bit nippy here. speaker-0: Yeah, I I thought there was four and half chances and I struggled to to split them. I've gone for the sake of putting them in order, VIP from Just Desserts because I think just but I do think just desserts gets the map. As I remember how to talk. Empero, a live chance. And KNST obviously a live chance. And I thought Bring Fourth was the other half a chance. Nice horse and it's trailed up quite well. if you look for one outside the market. I can't imagine I bet too big here, but I'll See w sometimes the market spits one of these out, but I'll look around six and ten mainly. but I I did like your one as well with the just desserts. Righty, technical issues resolved, race two Corfield, the Thoroughbred Club of Australia play twelve hundred metres for all the three old Phillies. and I actually liked what Fiery Fun did on debut, I know it beat up nothing, but three odd Phillies form it's all pretty much the same stuff. very nice turn of foot. came from last round of them up, looked pretty sharp there and just went looking away a bit from that lead up. and main danger, I'll make sequined who comes down from Sydney with Sydney form. And J Mac on top's probably enough to push forward here and and be right in the finish. What are you doing, Beaver? speaker-1: Yeah, this was again a tricky race and difficult to line up the form here. I've gone for my wen of spirit, just resuming here. had two really nice wins and then came to Caulfield and probably had a bit of few few excuses, went in the market, in a pretty good race. sent for a spell, looks to have trialed well enough here, and I think around eight dollars is a good each way bet. But yeah, and a bit worried about Sequin coming with Sydney form. These horses we know pop crop up in these types of races. and it's got the McDonald Wallet combination. So yeah, gotta keep a close eye eye on it. speaker-0: Beauty of third is the evergreen turf vase. It is a group three over the mile for the mares. Who do you like in this one? speaker-1: Yeah, pretty open race again here, I think. I'm gonna go for S Savitri to to win again. I think it's third up here. it was a really good second up win. obviously lead and dominated that race, but really won with significant ease there. I think it can possibly do the same from inside gate here and you know, maybe I just couldn't find who were the main changer chasers. So I thought Surf and Bird was pretty disappointed. Pointing first up, hard to catch from the waterhouse stable can can win without me. the astral flame resuming is obvious chance and perfect ten is going really well at the moment. But I thought Civic present a good value here. speaker-0: Yeah, it it's just sort of the one that said pick up pick up all the pieces really. Gate one is just gonna be right behind a leader. I ended up going the same. I thought like on display had that race shot the bits first up, but it's from four second up and you can never catch a s a bloody thing. So I ended up putting C top from Surfing Bird just 'cause it'll lead and Astral Flame. nice Philly and we'll be on pace. we'll make it the next best. yeah, I was following you there, 'cause there's I don't think there's much else. the fourth is the Group Two Herbert Pow Stakes. Twenty five hundred metres and we're a week out from the Caulfield Cup and like some of these have to start standing up, don't they? Because who's even in the C like what is the Caulfield Cup this year? Then I went through and I decided maybe chocolates was the one that did stand up last start, but the blink has come off tomorrow, so is this just a warm up for next week? I I was a bit confused by it all. I end up deciding that Look, future history is the horse will do nothing wrong. It'll be on pace in what's probably gonna be slow race that is worth some each way thought. And I like Zakuma. Both runs have been good this time in. I just don't know, if it wants thirty two hundred meters. I'm gonna put Zucuma on top. I'm terrified of the pace and obviously Willie Pike doesn't like putting many horses into the race, so it's gonna be back and having to possibly chase a slow speed, but was good first up, didn't have clear air and then Woundham really well last time out and it's ready for twenty four hundred and beyond. So put it on top from Future History right spot. Pinhole, I liked last start. I just don't know how to line it up. I was a bit confused by it. I've I've felt it was short, but it's obviously live chance. I think there's a tail on this race. But maybe you've got some some clearer thoughts. speaker-1: Yeah, definitely a tail on the race, I agree with you there. I settled on two. I went for chocolates as well. I liked that I liked that win. I think the twenty four hundred obviously suits yep, you might be you're right, it might be in this for a run, but because I think it probably wants to, you know, I think its main target's potentially Melbourne Cup, I think. And I think it's a light chance for that, but I'd expect it to run well and be hard to beat in this if that is the case. there was a lot to like about last run, so I think it can run really well in what looks to be an open affair. I did have Sakuma as the main danger. I do like it's I have liked its first two runs yeah 100% right. It got home well behind Zaran and St. George, less than two lengths last start. The 2400 it suits and won the won the 2800 at Flemington back in May. around some good form back then. I think it can run well. It's Certainly the one to look out for. I'll probably play both of them. I'll let pinhole go even though it's been consistent of late. I thought that's where the chances lay. speaker-0: I was just looking at the Caulfield Cup Futures market. Apparently Cosmic Crusaders are favorite. All right. Okay. Fair enough. Interested at four dollars fifty. Hundred. speaker-1: Yeah, not really. The twenty four hundred. speaker-0: No. we might do we'll do the Caulfield Neverest in person next week. That'll be a pleasure for you. I'll pop round. speaker-1: I've read speaker-0: all right. Don't sound too excited. The fifth is twelve hundred meter Did I give my thoughts? Yeah. Two to group three twelve hundred meters the what is this? Northwood Plume Stakes. There we go, it's a mare's race. two hopes. Bridal Waltz from Point Barrow. how the tracks playing, we'll decide which one I on top. Bridal Point Barrow very good. Last time. if le obviously if it's playing leaders, Bridal Altz is going to be tough to get past. outside of those two. Cassine I mentioned last week, save for this. And Naifar resuming Nussari tipping either, but they're they're both interesting resumers here. Nafah is a horse of now a mare of some ability. if if the outside lanes are in place, I think point barrow catches them again. Does have to do it twice in a row. She's not very good at doing that, but very impressive as she tends to be when she wins. What are you thinking? speaker-1: Yeah, I went the same way as you, but super scared of Broadow Walsh just getting the the softer run and being hard to catch here. Point barrow's gonna go back from twelve. It's gonna have to swoop the field. It just depends off. I thought it was a great ride light start. It took off probably before everything else kind of got on its bike and it managed to get around him sort of only at that three and four wide, rather than being taken six wide on the bend. if that happens, then I think it was fine. that'll be hard to catch brighter walls. But I've gone for point barriers 'cause I like the voice. I like last art win and that's what I got it on top. But yeah, flip of the coin. speaker-0: Beauty. Mark Zara being on top gives you an extra bit of confidence if you're on point barrel. the six is the eleven hundred metre Skolachi Stakes Group Two, where Jigsaw is the favourite from gate one. What are we doing here? speaker-1: Yeah, straight on jigsaw here. Gate one jumps where and goes where it wants. horse is flying last preparation, no reason it can't come back here and fly again. getting another year older, but this horse has taken all before it in recent times and this is pretty light on. speaker-0: Yep, yep, best of the days. Jigsaw absolutely flying. She's and he's tried really well. Cindy Olson's done a brilliant job in the last yeah, twelve or eight months getting it going. Why isn't it in the Everest? The Everest field. Cab Kabalus, under focus, Spicy Martini, Savvy Halley, Paradoxium, Gigakick, Headwall, Angel Capital. It beats all of them home, doesn't it? If Jigsaw's in the race. speaker-1: Beyond debate. speaker-0: Yeah. I'm not saying it's gonna beat speaker-1: It keeps cutting for us in a bit of a bit of a sh run down the street. speaker-0: It'll beat everyone I just mentioned, huh? speaker-1: I think so. speaker-0: Yeah. Beat ninja, huh? anyway, I agree. I just some some of those slot holders. Have more money than me anyway. Jigsaw win the rest of the day. sec the seventh kicks off the quaddy. Anything else did you like? Sorry, cut you off. No other chances. Move on. The seventh, two thousand metre group one might and power stakes and probably the only talking point is she's an alibi. has to get to the two thousand metres, are you concerned? speaker-1: Not really. I think I am that is skinny and I I I am I do think Birdman's a a life chance. I I think Birdman's a really good chance in the Coxplate, to be honest. but I guess will she exalibi go to Coxplate? speaker-0: I thought that's where she going. Yeah. speaker-1: I didn't see it on the markets but did. speaker-0: what helps her here is there's no this isn't gonna be a staying race. No. Like Treasure the Moment's the only only leader. Yeah. There is a cock's player. speaker-1: So yeah, look, she's alive on top, keen to see how Birdman goes in lead up preparation for the cox plate. speaker-0: yeah, she's not in the she's not in the market. I'll take her the Cox plate if Sodelius Aliana, Birdman, Cosmic Crusader are the top four in the market. Yeah, a hundred percent. I think we're w War Woven's going now, which is fair enough. speaker-1: If it wins. speaker-0: If it wins. I I yeah she'll win. I I think she'll get the job done. Interested to see obviously and what the owner and what Peter Moody's done is at least he's not afraid to challenge her. She could've dodged Autumn Glow first up, she could've dodged this two thousand meter race, but they're here to race and massive respect for that 'cause some other stables don't do it, like you know, Autumn Glow because you want to leave Sydney. cool. The feature is the group one Caulfield Guineas. It's a mile. for the three old boys. Well woven two dollars twenty five. Blind race three seventy. That's the race. I don't think there's any other hopes. I've I've gone with Well Woven, terrified of Blind Race. I think Dometer might run third. I couldn't find any chances. Outside of them, you know, usually I talk about how these wall of things are twenties and thirties and but I don't think there is here. Blind Ray's gonna lead while Woven sits off it, they fight it out. We'll go in that order, two from five. What are you thinking? speaker-1: And I switch it. Yeah. I'm going blind raise. I think they had the couple of runs in Melbourne, loved the way it let down and sprinted away. last start, that was pretty c that was pretty soft. It's pretty comfortable. I think it could have won by further if they if they wanted to. Third up here. No, no no qualms with War Woven. It's a genuine good horse and realized its potential this time in. But yeah, there won't there won't be much between these two, I wouldn't have thought. so I'm going five to beat two. And just keen to see how some of these others finish off in preparation for maybe the the bigger races on Derby Day. Tron Bolt called me coach. Diameter in Unit Five. I'm really keen to see how how they hit the line. speaker-0: Yeah, I assume half of the Waller ones will go to the the race that starts Melbourne Cup week. What's it called? The Cra not the Craven plate. Anyway, you know what I'm talking about. The Mile race that always Waller always wins. They're coming to me. Anyway, the ninth is the other group one mile. T Rek handicap. this is a interesting race, if nothing else. I decided changing colours is just flying. that was a really soft win last time out. I'm gonna back it and I'm gonna back evaporate here. I just sit outside lead from the gate and pulled up lame last start. Now gets gate two. I think's gonna have a a bit better control here. And all things being equal, they're both eight dollars fifty at least in the market I'm looking at. I'm pretty comfy backing both of them. Lady Shandowa gets J Mac, that'll help, obviously. Next best. Yeah, that's about it. Regular water run well. She done a screw to run well. But I I'm thinking this is a reasonable double play here. What are you thinking? speaker-1: I thought the same with the double play. interestingly enough, changing colours is one I've been following and there's no reason to get off with fifty-two on its back. Gets lightweight here, obviously up in class. but they've been they've been good wins. show a bit of versatility in all of them. Gate eight's perfect. Can get in the running line here. It'll it'll finish in the in the running. definitely, definitely a horse you want to be on. Evaporate. A few excuses. Last start. Bucking grade here. It's pretty bomb proof. It'll run a good race. King Tussy, I think Salty Pearl can run really well as well. third up now. Got Williams aboard around the $13 mark. I'll certainly have that in some of my wider bets. speaker-0: The last is the weekend hustler stakes over fourteen hundred meters, another black type race. What are we doing in the in this one? speaker-1: Yeah, another really hard race to finish the day, but if you need something and you're looking for value, there's plenty plenty on offer here. I'm going for Harry's yacht. here. I think it can run well, third up. it's always there, thereabouts. wasn't a bad run last start. that was pretty leader dominated. Hit the line okay, was within two lengths here, there. similar field. you know, you've got Rebel Zeus who's gonna take up the running again, but they just proved hard to run down. I got Harry Jod on top, Stepati resuming, keen to see how it goes. It it found some better form last preparation, albeit in Tasmania, but they were they were decent wins. Came back to Sydney and Melbourne, struggled a bit, but that was in a far better company. keen to see how it goes first up. speaker-0: Judy. I love the trolls of Stepati. Geez has come back and trolled really well. I'll put it on top. it put finally strong together some wins, as you said, it was in Hobart, but ran quite well early last prep in Melbourne. and this is slightly weaker. I really like Exudo as a horse, but you can have Gate Eleven, Willie Pike. you'll go back, run on and want to look flashy, good on him, loves his speed maps. And fireball misresuming, kept from last start. resuming here, winter in Queensland twenties, give it some thought for your quaddy. they were the three. Harry's yacht's obviously fourth and it definitely goes into said quaddy. which you can give us now. What's your Caulfield Guinea's Day Quadrilla? speaker-1: Caulfield Guinea's Day Quadrilla. I'm going to go one out. She's an alibi in the first leg, which is race seven. I'll just take that on. In the second leg, I'm going to go number two and number five, Warwoven and Blind Rays. I'm just going to stick with those two. I contemplated call me coach, but I'm going to stick with those two. And then I'm going to look for a bit of value. in some of the other legs I'm going number two Ladies Shenandoah, number one evaporate, thirteen changing colours, three Warney, fifteen salty pearl, and ten Panova. And then in the last race I'm going number five Stapati, eleven Exonuto, twelve Paris Yacht, four Regal Zeus, nine, fireball miss and two pinstriut. speaker-0: Beauty, what's your best and value? speaker-1: My best is I know you're gonna go jigsaw, which I was contemplating, so I'm gonna not go that and I'm gonna go race eight number five blind race. And my value bet comes up in race nine number thirteen changing colours. speaker-0: Lovely. I'll make my well, he said six one jigsaw is the year best on the card. And I make my very year old mate. race ten number five, Stapati. But I do like the bracket changing colours and evaporate there. Carbine Club Stakes was the race I was finished I was thinking of before that kicks off Cup Week. in case you weren't gonna sleep tonight. we go to Rose Hill. speaker-1: I feel better knowing. speaker-0: Yeah, I know. Rose Hill, Rail two, beautiful weather in Western City, rain. Tomorrow morning apparently. Hopefully just means they've kept the hoses away. I'll default to it being okay, but obviously we want to see that it's not on pace at Rose Hill before we really make too many heavy plans later in the card. We kick off with the midway over seventy benchmark seventy two, over fourteen hundred meters. With a few here coming back from some decent Metro stuff. It's one of the trickier midways. We don't really have a great start but either card here. what are you doing in the first? speaker-1: Yeah, tricky race the first. I don't really like the midway, but I'm gonna say the two that forwarded out last week, Call Me Sassy and Miss Space Girl hold the key again. with the with the difference in the odds, I'm gonna go call me sassy. Yeah. Eighteen speaker-0: I completely speaker-1: dollars. Yeah, it gets a two kilo claim, so fifty two and a half. Is drawn in in gate twelve, but probably at least comes in one with one scratching, probably one or two more. It's kinda it'll go forward, try and pose up. and if there's any Rice to those on pace, might just get the march on Miss Space Girl. speaker-0: yeah, I I was surprised at the price as well coming here with you know, no weight. so the four interested me. Call me sassy. titanium miss. If you take out the Mona Lisa and the other black type race you ran in runs have been really good and it's a twenty to one. Miss Baseball good first up. second up should run okay here if Siena. And Alabama State finally comes back to a midway. Last time was in midway. you won. It's been r running on in some better races, but now it might just be a a run on type of horse. what does all that mean? I'm probably gonna bet around the Miss Sassy Titanium is and Miss Space Girl. Felix Majestic will run second or third and just fill a a place bet for you there. the highway is up next. Not sure this gets much easier. It is over fifteen hundred meters. it is a class three and I just went through the jockey list here and I saw Tim Clark and Tommy Berry both on Matt Dale horses. One's thirties, one's sixes. Respect both of them. I wanna win. and left the race at that 'cause they're starting to do my eighty in going further than that. Any thoughts? speaker-1: Yeah, I did my head in as well. I went for cost of living as well, number thirteen. main danger number four, Magic Melon. speaker-0: Yep, exactly. the third is a two thousand metre benchmark eighty eight, which did its best to do my head in as well. What are we doing here? speaker-1: Yeah, there's some horses that's pretty quirky in this one here. Obviously the favourite been in midways but shown that it's very good. and it's on top and that's favorite for for those reasons. Gets up over the two thousand now, so untested there. So hard to go go past. I've got it on top, but super scared of Mukalif. being ex speaker-0: It needs to do something though, doesn't it? speaker-1: needs to do something, but its coat hadn't quite come up yet and it hadn't got rid of that sort of winter coat and it started to improve and there's been a a bit of a shine starting to come through in in its coat and it's come here with big wraps. It was very good first up here and then last preparation and then this preparation probably hasn't had races to suit, no pace. I think it's the it's got to be a bit more forward and a bit more positive here. So I think it can run really well. So around the ten dollars stick with it as well. speaker-0: Cool. Madatsu, Bear and Luce, Don Diego, De Vega are all at Port Macquarie this afternoon. Two. Baron Gary, obviously I've we've both been with, now has to come out of midway grade where it's never one. was okay two thousand metres in a decent race last time, but I thought I'd end up deciding to take it on. I was left with Anthracite and rock hard fit and now Bear and Lucy isn't gonna be there, it's just gonna have complete control. I think it's a decent Each way play here, Mr. Riz went a bit dour last time. Sat outside Anthrocyte, but that might have been third up, second up syndrome. Now third up I think bounces back a little bit. And Mukterliff gets the best run on the map. I thought the favourite was well stars in her eyes. I don't know if she's favourite, she's not. I thought gate thirteen going back's now a concern at Rose Hill, but did start a dollar ninety. I'm gonna back anthracite. I'm gonna probably have something Mr. Riz. And hold on in the third. The fourth is a group three Gloaming, eighteen hundred meters for the three year olds. And I'm going away from that race last week. I I do think Wonka is a live chance here, but I ended up going for the Melbourne form here. Scarole. I thought it was good. just getting nabbed late by the two Waller Horses down there and something burning. It's gonna lead here, it's gonna be Nash on a leader. in a st in a race with very little other pace and you're getting nine dollars fifty at least at what I'm looking at. so I'm gonna put it on top at that price. From Proximodia, who's unbeaten, did win a midway last time but had to do a bit of work to chase there. yeah, just couldn't get too excited about trying to line the rest of these up. What did you find? speaker-1: Yeah, I'm gonna go for Cormier. I think it's for got some third up here. The first two runs this prep in have been in group ones behind War Woven. so I think that's that's a good form line here. Yeah, quite away off. I'm six lengths off them, but I'd expect Warwoven to put a few of these to the sword, given it's in one of the better races of of the day. prior to that, back in ran really well last preparation, ran second behind Tron Bolt. on a couple of occasions in the in the heavy going. So I think it can run really well here back in this grade. so I got on top, should get a right run from gate one. I think Genesis runner can improve. I thought it was okay last start, they're backing it up. They must think it's ready to go well and Wonker. Nothing wrong with how it ran last start. So pretty open race, but I think for me at five dollars, nice bet. speaker-0: Beauty. The fifth is the Tap Craig, fourteen hundred meter listed race. the rest of the hasbeans from the three road lead ups. What's who do you like? speaker-1: Yeah, look tricky race here, but I've stuck with the favorite here. Church itch Yeah, speaker-0: Right, skilly or something? Yeah. speaker-1: whatever you however you say the eleven. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. Hawks Hawks trained. That was a really good win first up. albeit a maiden steps up here to listed grade. but the Hawks stable obviously have a have an opinion of this. I've got it on top, particularly if the two, the second and third favourite from the waterhouse stable. can leave me out of those. maybe Omelong can improve from the Wallace stable. That was it was an okay tidy first up behind Blue Door, they were just a bit nippy there. Fourteen hundred here will suits and might see some improvement there. speaker-0: Yeah, I think you do. It's it was backed against Blue Door in that race. Got run off its feet. and pulled up with slow recovery rate, apparently. it's eight dollars here. So I I'm gonna spec it. I'm gonna spec out span you. I think the linkers did help. I have though been chasing that horse for two preps now. you go broke breaking backing orcs and shiller, so I won't. you're getting twelve and eight bucks here, as I said, for the other two there I mentioned. twelve hundred metre Roman console stakes where we have another another lightly erased hawks horse here. t I like Santana Glow. Good horse. Good win first up. had to carry Jamie Mellon and still one. Now get Zach Lloyd, beautiful trials since can go up go for it's mount back, but I think it can go forward if it wants. it's on top, but one of the better bets on the card if this track's playing well. Still will improve trials since. Just got run off its feet chasing paradoxium. I don't think the straight helped it at all. And again another one is trialed really, really well since. The the two of interest for me, but I like the Philly. Who have you gone with? speaker-1: Only two chances. I've gone for the one. Paradoxium. I just think that the map suits here. I think gate two, Posi's up probably in the lead. showed a really good turn of foot there at Flemington last start. And I just think maybe too nippy. I'm just Satina Glow's gonna have to give it a start. super impressed with this horse. I think it's a an outstanding animal. there's not gonna be a lock between these. just went for the the the slight barrier draw. fav favoritism here from gate two to gate nine. but yeah, great race. speaker-0: The feature is the Group Two Hills Stakes here. Who do you like? speaker-1: Yeah, garbage race, it's no brainer Linderman. put a line through the last up failure, back to Sydney, back to nineteen hundred, back to a race with shit house horses. it it should win. speaker-0: Yep, best of the day. We'll move on. Race eight, fourteen hundred metres, group three, Alan Brown stakes. Good race. This interesting race, at least now how good it is. couple of interest here. Gringotts I know it says five of five last time out, but it was the only one in that race that actually tried to take on Autumn Glow and didn't just flop out the back. I thought Nash had a cracker. can sit a bit further back here and we'll definitely improve. We'll be in the finish here. I think. i it's on top from Seapals, nice horse, nice resumption, has to run well here. And general salute. It was all honest last start. Sat outside lead and owned it. was pretty good, it'll make it the next best, but fairly fairly keen these first two fight at the finish. What are you thinking? speaker-1: look, you're right, Gringotts was there was plenty to like about that run. That was a good run. It it was only just it it looked like it was gonna run third there for a long way in that race. and you know they kind of just went across the line together. There's nothing wrong with the race. it's absolute life chance. I'll be having something on it. I'm I'm sticking with Headley Grange. first up was outstanding. Second up was okay, bit of second up syndrome there, I think. gets the right draw here now, gate three. this is a very winnable race. I think it's it's the one to beat in this race for sure. Gringotts the main danger. speaker-0: The ninth is twelve hundred meter Nivesen. what have you done here? speaker-1: Yeah, this was this is tricky. This is tricky. I'm gonna stick with She's an artist because I have tipped in the first two runs in this preparation and is now third up. probably unlucky not to win last start to to be honest, that was just held up at a key stage. this should again get a lovely run from gate to the main danger Jerry gongs drawn off the track. I've got it on top and hardest to beat. I think the six Arabian rows could run well fresh. speaker-0: Agree, yeah. there's there's three of that I had of interest and I was sorta going a sorta going away from that. She's an us race. a little. Annie's Rose, nice turn of foot, take out the the one miss which she had no luck in. Arabian Rose of I like the Queensland stuff. I'm glad you mentioned it 'cause I thought there's been she's put together a few good wins up there, especially last prep. and Miss Free Love didn't have a lot of luck at Corfield. Should gone close to being in the finish with point barrow. Just a bit worried about the map. the racing near South Wales map has it last. I hope they she takes up a position. But the three I've mentioned are all double figures and I'll play around with those three. I'll put the other two in the market in the quaddy. Let's see if we can get them beat. the tenth eleven hundred meter race. and I've come back here to Bjorn and Alast, actually. I'll like the trials of Ellipsis. Trialed up really well. Couple of nice runs last prep finished up in a reasonable sprint race that would line up well here. And we'll go with it in the last from Lulumon. Nice return. last time out we'll had a bit of chase do we'll have to go back and make up ground at this eleven hundred metres. And mercy me, I was on heavily last time out and I probably vomit everywhere when it wins this week. What are you doing? speaker-1: Mercy Me. So yeah, vomiting. yeah, I think it'll improve from that run. And again, I guess I I just wasn't sure here of how this would play out. You know, they've drawn eight and nine ellipses and they'll both go forward. and I just thought Mercy Me might either hunt up and if it does, it holds ellipsis out and probably makes it harder for it to win. or settles behind it. But then that may give Fierce the sitting shot, which also concerns me. But I thought I just felt Fierce was a little bit short in the market. So I went for Mercy Me just at the the better value, but I think these three hold the key and I just can't see anything outside of these three's winning. speaker-0: Perfect. The Quaddy at Rose Hill for Hill Stakes Day. First leg, one at Linderman, number one. Second leg one Gringotts, two Headley Grange, four General Salute, five Sepals, fifteen formal display and seventeen Alt off the s value there. Third leg, six Arabian Rose, seven f Miss Free Love, twelve she's an artist, fourteen Annie's Rose and eighteen Sylph. And we'll come home with seven Lulumon, nine Fierce, because I have to, ten, Mercy Me and thirteen ellipsis. a hundred bucks gets you eighty-four percent or so of that. My best is Linderman race seven number one. I know it's odd on, so we'll make the Philly the other best, race six number fourteen. And value that bracket in the Niveson, which is Annie's Rose, Arabian Rose, and Miss Free Love. Play around with those, hopefully get Something from that. what are your best in value? speaker-1: I'm gonna go to my best bet, race six, number one, Paradoxium, is my best bet. And for value, I'm going race three, number twelve, mukdalif. speaker-0: Excellent. good stuff. What's happening in Queensland? speaker-1: not a lot happening in Queensland, but I did manage to come up with a few for the punters there. I've gone race five, number eight, Samarill. I think it can get the Chockies again. I think that was a nice win. I'm going race eight, number four, Blue Pinot, around the four dollar mark. And I'm gonna finish today in race ten there, number two, Fukabana. speaker-0: Beautiful. Love your work, mate. Thank you. Yours. speaker-1: Love it. speaker-0: we will catch that's very sweet. we'll catch up soon so you can buy me a drink and tell me how much you do. And good good punting this weekend, punters. we'll talk soon. Take care. My pleasure. We'll be back for the Everest and Caulfield Cup next week. Looking forward to that as we build towards Melbourne Cup week as well. Take care, guys.
