- 0:28Hey, everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:30coop. So I have a question for you.
- 0:33Are you, are you waiting for success to find you?
- 0:37Are you like actively just sitting there waiting for
- 0:41success to find you or are you out there pursuing it with all
- 0:47the intentions as well as the actions?
- 0:51The difference in these two things is incredibly important
- 0:54because if you were just waiting for something to find you and
- 0:58you're not living in a state of acceptance of it, meaning that
- 1:03you are, you know you have to do things in order to make stuff
- 1:06happen. We have to, we cannot just sit
- 1:08around and, you know, blindly ignore the fact that we need to
- 1:13be actively pursuing it because that is part of the consistent
- 1:17message of manifesting. You know, some years ago there
- 1:19was many books have come out about obviously have come out
- 1:24about manifesting. But some years ago there was a
- 1:25book that came out and was pretty clear that everybody
- 1:29walked away thinking they could just sit in a room and think
- 1:32about something and it would happen.
- 1:35And the confusion behind that was it, it it's all back to
- 1:39emotion. Everything comes down to emotion
- 1:41that's tied to it. And if you are incredibly
- 1:44focused with your emotion in a consistent direction, you always
- 1:49get that doesn't matter what you're thinking about, doesn't
- 1:53matter how you're visualizing yourself.
- 1:55If your underlying emotion is going in a certain direction,
- 1:58then that's where you're going to end up.
- 2:00And that also got a lot of people to become, in my opinion,
- 2:04lazy because they thought, I don't have to really do too
- 2:07much, I don't have to do the work, and I can just move on and
- 2:12wait for it to happen, wait for it to show up.
- 2:15But this is a puzzle that we have to actually work at.
- 2:19You know you cannot get, and I know you've heard me say this
- 2:22before, if you're a regular listener, you cannot get the
- 2:25outcome without the effort. And the effort is on multiple
- 2:28levels. The effort is on that level of
- 2:32yes, thinking about it, yes. Visualizing it, Yes.
- 2:36Putting emotion to it and feeling as if you would when you
- 2:40had it, Seeing it as if it was already done.
- 2:43And it is actually moving your ass doing the work.
- 2:48So when you question, am I doing the work, am I doing the work
- 2:54that's going to move me in the right direction?
- 2:57You really have to be on point with that.
- 2:59You have to say, and do I feel like I'm putting in a valid
- 3:03effort to this or am I just putting in the minimum?
- 3:05And here's the thing, people will often say to me, well, how
- 3:08do I know? Well, listen, only you know.
- 3:11You know, if you're making your best effort, you know, if you're
- 3:14pouring in, you know if you could do more.
- 3:17You know, when I was a kid, I I really, really struggled with
- 3:22certain things about going to school and and having the the
- 3:28relationships that I did with people when I was younger.
- 3:30Because I'm as much as people think I'm an extrovert, I'm
- 3:35really much more of an amp pervert where I go to that
- 3:38introvert side. I like things that other people
- 3:42don't necessarily get into, if you're in the common sense of
- 3:46the strain. I love, the farming piece I
- 3:48love, and I just didn't grow up with people like that.
- 3:50They just weren't a part of my life.
- 3:51So I always had to kind of keep myself twisted and put aside.
- 3:55And there was one thing that I really did like and I liked
- 3:58school, the learning aspect of school.
- 4:01I hated the going to school and having to interact and be
- 4:05different and all that. I did not like that at all.
- 4:08However, I did love the learning aspect.
- 4:11I always had good grades. I always worked my butt off with
- 4:14it. But it came easy.
- 4:17And this is the point of the story.
- 4:19I would actually sit when I was in 3rd, 4th grade and I would
- 4:24say to my father, he'd say how was your day?
- 4:26And I would say it was good. I did well and I would take out
- 4:29my papers and I would show him and he would say was it hard and
- 4:32I would say no. And I always felt like I could
- 4:36have pushed myself more, but there was never an expectation
- 4:41from somebody other than him. And he would say, well, if
- 4:45you're getting aged, you're doing the good work.
- 4:47But the truth was the work could have been harder.
- 4:50And I didn't know how to articulate that.
- 4:52I didn't know how to share that with him because I was young.
- 4:55When I got older and I got into high school, I didn't care about
- 4:59that anymore. I didn't care if the work was
- 5:01came easy. I mean, everything except math
- 5:03came very easy, but I didn't care about that because I just
- 5:07wanted to get out of school so I could go do what I wanted to do.
- 5:11I didn't want to be in this framework of what school was
- 5:14because it felt completely wrong.
- 5:16It it, even at that age it felt completely wrong.
- 5:19Oh, take art classes. No, I don't want to draw what
- 5:22someone else tells me. I have to draw.
- 5:24I want to draw what I want to draw.
- 5:26I want to be independent. Now that has obviously its
- 5:30benefits and it has its downfalls and no one could ever
- 5:33help me manage that. So This is why we're having this
- 5:36conversation today, so I can help you manage these things
- 5:39because you really have to look at yourself and you have to say,
- 5:43you know, am I in a position where I am seeking the success?
- 5:48Am I waiting for it to happen? Am I just like dwelling in this
- 5:54place of constant anticipation, or am I actually doing the work?
- 5:58Because I will tell you, if you're actually doing the work
- 6:01along with this, it's magical. Because now that's what I do.
- 6:04I do the work now. And do I push myself?
- 6:07Yeah. And do I spend time working my
- 6:10butt off with my clients? Yes.
- 6:12And am I always learning and getting new things into my head?
- 6:15Yes. Because if you're not growing,
- 6:17you're dying. And that's something that I
- 6:19think is incredibly important at this point in time for us to all
- 6:23recognize. So I hope you guys find
- 6:26something today that makes you want to grow.
- 6:28Go out there and stop waiting for success.
- 6:30Go out there and crush it. All right, my friends, I will
- 6:33see you tomorrow. Bye.
