- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, I sure will.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 0:10Speaker 2: come on, y'all dig me now.
- 0:11Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Is God good to me? Unbelievable? Yeah, he is.
- 0:19Speaker 2: And I can only attribute it to one thing. It's
- 0:22Speaker 2: just been a turnaround in my life. It's been me
- 0:27Speaker 2: finally making decision to see what all God has for me,
- 0:31Speaker 2: but at the same time trying to be more God
- 0:33Speaker 2: want me to be instead of more of what I
- 0:35Speaker 2: want to be. That's the trade off. You know, you
- 0:38Speaker 2: gotta do something now. You know, you know you want
- 0:40Speaker 2: God's blessings, you got to be willing to do something
- 0:43Speaker 2: on his behalf.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And I'm not.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Saying I got it right right now, because I'm just
- 0:49Speaker 2: being real with you.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I don't.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I don't have it all together by any stretch of imagination.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I'm trying to get better in several areas. I'm praying
- 0:58Speaker 2: about it, I'm working on it. But you know, it's
- 1:01Speaker 2: a process, and I've grown to accept the process.
- 1:05Speaker 1: But I'm improving in a lot of areas from day
- 1:07Speaker 1: to day.
- 1:08Speaker 2: But I'll tell you what, man, my success all that's
- 1:11Speaker 2: going on with me, I can only attribute to this turnaround.
- 1:15Speaker 2: And the turnaround was simple. I turned around and started
- 1:19Speaker 2: looking at God. That was the simple move, man. I
- 1:23Speaker 2: just turned around and started looking at him, and I
- 1:25Speaker 2: was going, Okay, I get it. Now, you created me.
- 1:28Speaker 2: You're the creator. You have a purpose for me. I
- 1:32Speaker 2: understand that.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Now let me just walk in that purpose and let
- 1:38Speaker 2: me get to doing that purpose. Now, my purpose and
- 1:41Speaker 2: your purpose and their purpose and anybody's purpose could be different,
- 1:46Speaker 2: and the way you go about the purpose can be different.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And that's the part that I've really grown up to.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I've opened up my mind to understanding that everybody's different,
- 1:58Speaker 2: nobody's quite the same, and that is not my right
- 2:01Speaker 2: or position to judge, but to be of a forgiving
- 2:05Speaker 2: spirit and understand and forgive those as I ask God
- 2:08Speaker 2: to forgive me. See that's the key. That's the key, y'all.
- 2:13Speaker 2: So when you're out here and you stuck on this unforgiveness,
- 2:16Speaker 2: understand in the Large Prayer, as a segment that says
- 2:22Speaker 2: forgive us our trustpasses as we forgive those who trustpass
- 2:26Speaker 2: against us. There's another version says forgive us our debts,
- 2:29Speaker 2: as we forgive our debtors. It's two different versions, but
- 2:33Speaker 2: either one it means the exact same thing. It means
- 2:37Speaker 2: simply this, that you are asking God to forgive yours
- 2:43Speaker 2: like you forgive others. Forgive us our trust passes as
- 2:47Speaker 2: we forgive those who trustpass against us when I cross
- 2:51Speaker 2: the line with you, God handle me the way I
- 2:55Speaker 2: handle people when they cross the line with me. You
- 2:58Speaker 2: feel what I'm saying to you. Understand that that's the
- 3:00Speaker 2: breakdown of it. Best way I can give it to you.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Forgive us our trustpasses as we forgive those who trustpass
- 3:08Speaker 2: against us. Forgive me God for stepping over the line,
- 3:12Speaker 2: like I forgive those that step over the line on me.
- 3:15Speaker 2: That's the hard part, man, That's the part man, I've
- 3:18Speaker 2: really been working on. I've been really trying to get
- 3:21Speaker 2: that together. And so I've learned forgiveness a lot better
- 3:25Speaker 2: over the past five years than I have before.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And it's paid off.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I can't tell you how it's paid off, because now
- 3:34Speaker 2: God's mercy and grace is all over me because I've
- 3:38Speaker 2: learned to become more graceful. Now I ain't graceful like him,
- 3:44Speaker 2: I ain't merciful like him, but I've learned to become
- 3:47Speaker 2: more more graceful, more merciful, because man, I can't live
- 3:52Speaker 2: my life like that. I just got sick of me. Man,
- 3:54Speaker 2: you mad at me? Now, I'm mad at you. You
- 3:58Speaker 2: hating on me? Now, I'm monna hate on you. You
- 4:00Speaker 2: got time for that, man, I've got you. Look here,
- 4:02Speaker 2: you got somewhere to go. Hate take up time. It's
- 4:07Speaker 2: time consuming.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Hating.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Trying to seek revenge just time consuming. It take up
- 4:14Speaker 2: way too much of your time to seek revenge when
- 4:16Speaker 2: vengeance ain't really yours. That's another one. Vengeance is mine,
- 4:21Speaker 2: saith the Lord. It ain't yours. So now when you
- 4:24Speaker 2: go to seek it, to take it out, guess what
- 4:26Speaker 2: you're doing. You're doing something now, man. Now you off
- 4:30Speaker 2: in the area that you got no business being in,
- 4:33Speaker 2: and instead of steady climbing your letterer like you're supposed to,
- 4:37Speaker 2: you didn't take out time for vengeance to hate. I'm
- 4:41Speaker 2: a hater. I'm a be a blogger. I'm a blog
- 4:45Speaker 2: about so and so. When you're blogging about somebody, and
- 4:49Speaker 2: most of these people you don't even know. When you're
- 4:51Speaker 2: blogging about somebody, what you're doing, what you hating?
- 4:56Speaker 1: It takes time to hate, man, I just sided, man.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I got to take all my time and instead of
- 5:04Speaker 2: have doing time and being active, I got to be proactive. See,
- 5:09Speaker 2: some people get that confused, being active and being proactive.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Pro is positive. Pro means to move forward.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You know, if you put pro in front of most words,
- 5:21Speaker 2: it's a positive influence. You know, there's the pros and
- 5:25Speaker 2: the cons. The pros is the good side. The cons
- 5:29Speaker 2: is what can go wrong the bad side. You know,
- 5:32Speaker 2: if you're active, that's one thing, but if you proactive,
- 5:35Speaker 2: you're going forward in a positive direction. When you become
- 5:40Speaker 2: a pro that means you the best of the best
- 5:43Speaker 2: at whatever it is you chosen to be. I'm a
- 5:45Speaker 2: pro so somehow, and I'm no English teacher or grammatical god.
- 5:52Speaker 2: The word pro a lot of times, when you put
- 5:55Speaker 2: it in front of something, means positiveness. So now a
- 6:00Speaker 2: lot of people think that if you just active, something
- 6:02Speaker 2: aught to happen. Well, I'm doing something, and that's what happens. Man.
- 6:06Speaker 2: We just find ourselves doing a lot of busy work
- 6:08Speaker 2: that really ain't about nothing and ain't going nowhere. It
- 6:11Speaker 2: ain't got no direction or no purpose because we haven't
- 6:14Speaker 2: tried to find out the direction of a purpose. So
- 6:16Speaker 2: you wake up you and your wheels are spinning. You
- 6:20Speaker 2: a hamster on a treadmill. You're running real fast, but
- 6:22Speaker 2: you're just going in the same spot. You understand, that's
- 6:25Speaker 2: cause you just out here being active instead of proactive.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Why don't you get God in your life?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Why don't you turn and face your creator and find
- 6:33Speaker 2: out how to become more proactive so you can do
- 6:37Speaker 2: things to move yourself forward. How you can get your
- 6:40Speaker 2: life off the ground and get off the treadmill and
- 6:43Speaker 2: really get it rolling in the direction that it needs
- 6:45Speaker 2: to be going.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Man, I'm telling.
- 6:47Speaker 2: You, God can make that change for you if he
- 6:51Speaker 2: see you making the change for him. See the whole key, man,
- 6:56Speaker 2: the whole key is you got to be willing to
- 6:58Speaker 2: do something. You got to give of God, something to
- 7:01Speaker 2: bless bless me God. And then you go sit on
- 7:04Speaker 2: your couch and you ain't trying, okay, bless me God
- 7:07Speaker 2: with what what are you working with? He can't have
- 7:12Speaker 2: the people hire you if you ain't put the app in.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Come on, man, the blessing comes when you make a
- 7:18Speaker 2: proactive step, when you try to do something on the
- 7:22Speaker 2: positive side. Look, man, I'm gonna quit messing around with
- 7:26Speaker 2: all these people. I'm gonna start going home. I'm gonna
- 7:28Speaker 2: leave these women alone out here. You got to say,
- 7:31Speaker 2: all right, man, I ain't going over there tonight. I
- 7:33Speaker 2: just ain't gonna get then. God can work with you.
- 7:36Speaker 2: God help me stop seeing all these women. But you
- 7:39Speaker 2: steady going over there calling them, setting up stuff. We
- 7:44Speaker 2: can't nobody help you, because once you get over there,
- 7:46Speaker 2: you already know. See, you gotta get proactive. You gotta
- 7:51Speaker 2: do something yourself. You make one step, he'll make two.
- 7:55Speaker 2: That's the key man. So come on, y'all.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You're listening into the Steve Leeve Harvey Morning Show
