  This week, we're joined by Tammy Bowsa.

  Originally from Argentina, Tammy grew up in Paraguay and
• 0:49
  Mozambique, where her parents served.
• 0:51
  Through the Church of the Nazarene, she studied
• 0:53
  intercultural studies, earned her MBA, and later served with
• 0:57
  Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Jordan, working
• 1:00
  with local and refugee students. Since May 2025, she has served
• 1:06
  as the Regional NMI Coordinator for Eurasia.

  We are grateful to have Timmy with us this week as she shares
• 1:12
  about the five NMI priorities. Hi, this is Tammy.
• 1:18
  So today we will talk about the fourth area of impact of NMI,
• 1:24
  which is the World Evangelism Fund.
• 1:27
  In 1923, the Church of the Nazarene moved to a centralized
• 1:31
  funding system called the General Budget.
• 1:35
  In 1997, the name was changed to the World Evangelism Fund, but
• 1:40
  the purpose remain the same, which is to sustain valuable
• 1:45
  ministry through consistent mission funding.
• 1:49
  The World Evangelism Fund provides the undesignated money
• 1:53
  and mission network that all Nazarene ministries need.
• 1:58
  So when you give to the World Evangelism Fund, you are helping
• 2:01
  create and sustain ministries and make it possible to bring
• 2:06
  Christ's transformational message of hope and salvation to
• 2:10
  the world through the Church of the Nazarene.
• 2:12
  Thank you for giving to the World Evangelism Fund.
• 2:16
  So you may have questions of how or where do these funds go.
• 2:21
  So when you give, the money comes to the General Treasurer's
• 2:24
  Office where the funds are then distributed to the six world
• 2:29
  regions of our church. It also supports missionaries
• 2:33
  and ministries around the globe. The World Evangelism Fund not
• 2:38
  only provides ministries on the ground with the support they
• 2:41
  need, but also the money is being used to ensure that legal
• 2:46
  and federal requirements are in line.
• 2:51
  So the World Evangelism Fund is the foundation for everything
• 2:55
  the Lord is doing through the Global Church of the Nazarene.
• 2:58
  Our core method of missions through compassion, evangelism
• 3:03
  and education are accomplished with the World Evangelism Fund.
• 3:08
  There are other examples of ministries also being supported
• 3:11
  by WEF, which are new churches and ministry outpost,
• 3:15
  missionaries, regional ministries, Christian literature
• 3:19
  and resources, Holiness, education, Also partner
• 3:23
  ministries such as the Jesus Film, Harvest Partners, Nazarene
• 3:27
  Compassion Ministries, and many more.
• 3:31
  Thank you for giving to the World Evangelism Fund.

  So when you give, your church shares a portion of your gift
• 3:40
  with the worldwide Nazarene Church.
• 3:43
  The World Evangelism Fund goal for every local church is 5.5%
• 3:49
  of its total income annually, less their mission special
• 3:54
  giving. So all together we are making a
• 3:58
  difference around the world by giving to the World Evangelism
• 4:02
  Fund. It's very exciting how God can
• 4:05
  use anything that we give and he can multiply and, and help us
• 4:10
  serve and provide ministries around the world.
• 4:13
  God is at work, like I mentioned, in all six regions of
• 4:17
  our world, and it's exciting that we can be part of this.
• 4:21
  Thank you again for giving to the World Evangelism Fund.

  So normally we emphasize WEF twice a year during our Easter
• 4:32
  offering and also our Thanksgiving.
• 4:35
  These are two ways that local churches can remind the local
• 4:38
  congregation that we're being part of something bigger,
• 4:41
  something that is supporting missions all around the world.
• 4:46
  And God will continue to be at work and he will continue to
• 4:50
  bless everything that we give. So let's pray together.

  God, thank you for all that you're doing around the world
• 4:59
  and thank you for allowing us to be part even with the little
• 5:03
  that we give or the much that we give.

  We know that you are blessing us and blessing others in the
• 5:11
  process. Thank you for wanting everyone

  to be saved and to find you, to find hope in you.

  Let us continue to be instruments.
• 5:21
  Allow us to be instruments in your hands that you can use
• 5:26
  everything that we do for Your glory.
• 5:29
  God, thank you for loving us and thank you for the Church of the
• 5:33
  Nazarene and everything that you have done through the church
• 5:37
  around the world. May you continue to give
• 5:40
  strength to the leaders, to the missionaries, to the district
• 5:45
  superintendents, the pastors, everyone that is leading a group
• 5:50
  of people to continue to find hope in you.
• 5:55
  God, we know that everything we have belongs to you.
• 5:59
  Let us surrender the things that we need to surrender to you, and
• 6:05
  let us give to you what belongs to you.
• 6:09
  Thank you for multiplying and giving us more than we could
• 6:13
  imagine. We know that you're at work in
• 6:17
  all six regions of our world. And thank you again for allowing
