  Speaker 1: I just happened to got a couple of things right,

  Speaker 1: and man, his grace and mercy carries you the rest

  Speaker 1: of the way. All you got to do is get

  Speaker 1: a couple of things right, and then his grace and

  Speaker 1: his mercy will take over his favor, his love of you.

  Speaker 1: It's it's already evident. I mean, you know, because so

  Speaker 1: many times we go along without even acknowledging him or

  Speaker 1: conferring with him in our decisions, and we look up

  Speaker 1: when we find ourselves in a predicament and he always
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: comes comes to the rescue.

  Speaker 2: He always he's managers.

  Speaker 1: To show up. He's never too late, he's never one

  Speaker 1: minute too late. And so in light of this today

  Speaker 1: I wanted to talk to you about something. It's another

  Speaker 1: principle of success that I'd like to share with everybody

  Speaker 1: this morning. And once again, these are not things that

  Speaker 1: you don't know or you've never heard before. These are

  Speaker 1: just reminders along the way. And one of the things

  Speaker 1: you have to be conscious of is don't be afraid

  Speaker 1: to change. Don't be afraid to change because change is
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: coming anyway. See, I have a theory, don't be afraid

  Speaker 1: to change because change is coming anyway. You know, everything changes,

  Speaker 1: nothing remains the same nothing, and change is inevitable. Now,

  Speaker 1: you could participate in the change, or you can react
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: to the change.

  Speaker 1: You can participate in the change or you can react

  Speaker 1: to the change. But don't be afraid to change because

  Speaker 1: change is coming anyway. Now, what I mean by that

  Speaker 1: is this, in participating in the change or reacting in

  Speaker 1: the change, there is a difference. See, if you react

  Speaker 1: to the change, that means the change has occurred and

  Speaker 1: now you have to make the necessary adjustments to the change. Example,

  Speaker 1: the boss walks in, You think your job is good.

  Speaker 1: The boss walks in and hands you a pink slip.

  Speaker 1: That right there, that's a change. Now you didn't participate
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: in this change because you didn't ask for the pink slip.

  Speaker 1: But now you've got to react to the pink slip.

  Speaker 1: Whenever you have to react to the change, it's an adjustment. Period,

  Speaker 1: it almost throws you. So change is going to come.

  Speaker 1: It always does. You could participate or you can react.

  Speaker 1: Or let's say your boss comes in and hands you

  Speaker 1: the pink slip, and you said, you know what I've

  Speaker 1: been preparing for this day?

  Speaker 2: Always knew nothing.

  Speaker 1: Last forever, I've been working on the sideline, on the

  Speaker 1: business idea I had, and I had, or I had
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: several other applications in around town.

  Speaker 2: I was just holding off to see what was going going.

  Speaker 1: So when they hand you the pink slip, the transition,
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: the adjustment you make is a lot more smoother transition
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: because now you just transition into your new business idea
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: that you've been working on. Are you transitioned into the
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: apps you already had in or the contacts you made
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: the preparation for when the day they come in hand
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: you the pink slip, Well, Steve, what did they surprise
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: you with it? This is just one ext I'm giving you.

  Speaker 1: So you know, let's let's not nick pick the message.

  Speaker 1: So what I'm saying to everybody is, don't be afraid
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: to change, because change is coming anyway. So many people
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: are stuck in a rut because of our refusal to change.

  Speaker 1: I was hell bent on a certain thing going a
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: certain way, and this is how it was gonna go. Well,

  Speaker 1: that that I was thinking didn't really fit. Now in
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: my own personal experience, this may not be yours, but
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: in my own personal experience, the things that I've had
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: the most trouble letting go of was something I wanted.

  Speaker 2: When I line.

  Speaker 1: Myself up with the will of God to ask God

  Speaker 1: what he wanted from me. You understand, those things came

  Speaker 1: a lot more easy to me because it was in

  Speaker 1: the will of God. It was what God wanted me

  Speaker 1: to do too. Okay, see what you mean by that? Okay,

  Speaker 1: here we go. When things were going wrong in relationships,

  Speaker 1: for me, what I did was the biggest mistake I've
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: ever made. Was I attempted to fix what was wrong

  Speaker 1: in my relationship outside of the relationship.

  Speaker 2: Feel me.

  Speaker 1: Okay, So I'm out there working my groove like I

  Speaker 1: want to. Well, now, guess what. There's the cause and

  Speaker 1: effect for all of that too. Your house ain't gonna

  Speaker 1: get better, it can't. And then that lays room for
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: some other things. And so now when the change come,

  Speaker 1: guess what I got to react to it? Now, I

  Speaker 1: gotta I gotta I gotta have a reaction to it.

  Speaker 1: Had I lined myself up in the will of God,

  Speaker 1: the transition may have grown differently. It could have still
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: ended the relationship. But guess what, some of the pain

  Speaker 1: I ain't have to go through. I bought a lot

  Speaker 1: on myself. Sometimes you're pursuing a passion of yours, and

  Speaker 1: what God really wants you to do is pursue your gift.

  Speaker 1: So now you're pursuing your passion, right, you passion about golf.

  Speaker 1: You love golf so much. You just determined, But now
• 6:22
  Speaker 1: you're do messed around. You ain't made it on the
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: PGA Tour yet, and you forty five, still talking about
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna play on the PGA Tour. Really, Okay, Maybe
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: you ain't as good as this you think, or maybe
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: you're not as gifted as you think. Maybe you're pursuing
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: a passion. Sometimes, man, we have to change and we
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: have to ask God what is his will? His will
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: is much simpler. It's a simpler rule. Not going to
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: be easier, it's simpler. See when I wake up now,
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: it's simple for me to wake up because I know
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: that are few things that I have to do. I
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: have to click this mic on. I have to be positive.

  Speaker 1: I have to be inspirational. I have to be informative.

  Speaker 1: I have to be uplifting. Got it, That's what he wants.

  Speaker 1: All I got to do is sit down, close my eyes,

  Speaker 1: ask God to help me be who he want me
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: to be, and for the most part, he tell me
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: what to say. Now, guess what he's done though, to

  Speaker 1: create this in me. I went through enough things in
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: my life. I had enough challenges. I made plenty of mistakes.

  Speaker 1: So now at my age, I can turn around and

  Speaker 1: tell somebody listening to me, Okay, this is what I did.

  Speaker 1: This is a mistake I made. Maybe you see yourself

  Speaker 1: in this story right here. Maybe you don't have to
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: go this way. Or this is what I've learned about
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: becoming successful. Here's a principle that I learned. But then,
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: guess what I had to be unsuccessful to get it though,
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: didn't I? So you can't have a testimony without a
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: test Change is coming. It's inevitable. You can participate or
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: you can react. I much prefer to participate in the change. Hi,
