- 0:18Sean McAllister: Formula One isn't going anywhere.
- 0:20Sean McAllister: They just extended their partnership with Las Vegas.
- 0:23Sean McAllister: And let's just say they're sticking around for a long time.
- 0:26Dayna Roselli: Plus, new sports memorabilia gets added to the Hall of Excellence.
- 0:30Sean McAllister: And the stars are out to see the Las Vegas Aces and the Golden Knights.
- 0:35Dayna Roselli: And the strip is getting another In N Out burger.
- 0:38Dayna Roselli: We have all the details.
- 0:39Sean McAllister: Ooh, that is good news to hear.
- 0:41Sean McAllister: Let's get to it on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:44Dayna Roselli: Welcome everyone to Vegas Revealed episode 324.
- 0:48Dayna Roselli: Dana Roselli and Sean McAllister here, and we kick off this episode with big news.
- 0:53Dayna Roselli: We officially have another In N Out on the Las Vegas Strip.
- 0:57Sean McAllister: This is exciting.
- 0:58Sean McAllister: I love In N Out Burger because there have been so many of these like burger comparison rankings that consistently rank In N Out Burger as kind of like the healthiest option for fast food burgers.
- 1:13Sean McAllister: And so it's great to have new locations popping up around the Las Vegas Valley, but especially popping up on the Las Vegas strip for all of the Vegas visitors.
- 1:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we have all the details.
- 1:26Dayna Roselli: And then we did a quick Google, and the New York Post is calling it the world's largest in and out.
- 1:33Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 1:33Dayna Roselli: So I love that too, because in Vegas, it's oh, we always have to have the biggest and the best.
- 1:38Sean McAllister: We do.
- 1:38Sean McAllister: And this location is going to have accommodations for 170 guests.
- 1:44Sean McAllister: Plus, they have a patio, an outdoor seating area that holds 50 more people.
- 1:49Sean McAllister: So they can accommodate well over 200 people at this new location.
- 1:55Sean McAllister: This is at uh the Boulevard, a shopping complex.
- 1:59Sean McAllister: It's uh right at like Harmon and Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 2:03Dayna Roselli: Yeah, like near MGM-ish.
- 2:06Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 2:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 2:07Dayna Roselli: It's kind of in that block.
- 2:09Sean McAllister: It's in the block between yeah, Harmon and MGM there.
- 2:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they've been doing a lot with that.
- 2:14Dayna Roselli: I mean, and you know, for a while there it was a little empty, but they've been, you know, putting more stuff in there.
- 2:19Dayna Roselli: And I think it's really coming together as a nice spot for something like this in and out.
- 2:24Sean McAllister: Yeah, it really is.
- 2:25Sean McAllister: They have a big Puma flagship store at that uh location as well.
- 2:30Sean McAllister: But the cool part about it is they have this entire uh rooftop complex where they're adding dining destinations, they're going to have entertainment uh facilities up there too.
- 2:42Sean McAllister: So, you know, we can expect in the future some live music up there with a great view overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.
- 2:51Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 2:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean it's great.
- 2:53Dayna Roselli: But people love to get a good Vegas view.
- 2:55Dayna Roselli: It makes a difference.
- 2:56Dayna Roselli: It does.
- 2:56Dayna Roselli: If you're here, you want that view.
- 2:58Dayna Roselli: We just did a bunch of live shots at the top of the Vanderpump Hotel.
- 3:01Dayna Roselli: And whenever we showed like a shot of us, or you know, a shot from just we took a picture from the phone camera or whatever, people are like, oh, look at that view.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: Like they love the Vegas strip.
- 3:12Sean McAllister: It is, and that's you know, right at that is the at the 50-yard line of the Las Vegas strip.
- 3:17Sean McAllister: So you have great views to the north, great view of the uh hard rock guitar tower going up, and then south you have the Bellagio Fountains right there, and a great look at everything uh down towards Mandalay Bay.
- 3:30Dayna Roselli: And I love that the new In N Out is going to employ approximately 70 people.
- 3:34Dayna Roselli: That's great, that's awesome.
- 3:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 3:36Dayna Roselli: Uh all the In N Out burger locations apparently open daily uh starting at 10:30 a.m.
- 3:41Dayna Roselli: So if you want an early lunch, you can get in there at 10 30 on the Las Vegas strip.
- 3:46Dayna Roselli: So welcome, you know, another edition.
- 3:48Dayna Roselli: There's another one at the link.
- 3:50Sean McAllister: Right.
- 3:50Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 3:50Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 3:51Sean McAllister: And then another one just off of uh on Tropicana, like on the other side of the uh 15 highway, right there.
- 3:59Dayna Roselli: Kind of the original.
- 3:59Dayna Roselli: That's been there since I moved here in 04.
- 4:02Dayna Roselli: A long time, yeah.
- 4:03Dayna Roselli: Because I had never had in and out.
- 4:04Dayna Roselli: I was an east coaster, I'm sure you too, right?
- 4:07Sean McAllister: Yeah, well, actually, last time my nephew came out here, he's back in in western New York, and he was like, Oh my gosh, you have an in and out right around the corner from your house.
- 4:16Sean McAllister: You're so lucky.
- 4:18Sean McAllister: I was like, Well, do you want to go?
- 4:19Sean McAllister: He's like, Yeah, of course I do.
- 4:21Dayna Roselli: But it's so interesting because back yeah, like you think about even back then, it's like there were not as many competing burger places.
- 4:30Dayna Roselli: Now there's so many.
- 4:31Dayna Roselli: We just no, it was just when we moved here in 04 or 05, I mean, just really anywhere.
- 4:37Dayna Roselli: It was always like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Carl's Jr.
- 4:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and then In N Out was like this big specialty, like only in the West Coast.
- 4:46Dayna Roselli: You know, I didn't and then now it's endless.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: It is a lot of competition out there.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: We just did a show recently where we had two burger spots that just opened the NADC burger and um the red is it redheaded burger and redhead burger.
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: Redhead burger, yeah.
- 5:01Dayna Roselli: And then I mean, now we have all over the place.
- 5:03Dayna Roselli: Man, fat burger.
- 5:05Sean McAllister: Burgers are really having a moment, aren't they?
- 5:08Dayna Roselli: But they're so good.
- 5:09Dayna Roselli: They are, I mean, I mean, I love when people say the burger wasn't great.
- 5:11Dayna Roselli: I'm like, I mean, I definitely like certain burgers more than I like others, but I feel like I've never really had a burger that I didn't enjoy.
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: Scarfing down.
- 5:22Sean McAllister: The only way a burger isn't good is if like whoever made it just didn't season it at all.
- 5:30Sean McAllister: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:33Sean McAllister: Like that's no good.
- 5:34Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 5:35Dayna Roselli: But then you top the pickles and the ketchup, which I like.
- 5:39Sean McAllister: So do I.
- 5:40Sean McAllister: I like the works on my burger.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: Hey, yeah, I was gonna say, let's get away from the burgers and step it up a notch.
- 5:46Dayna Roselli: How about that?
- 5:46Sean McAllister: Step it up a notch.
- 5:48Sean McAllister: You you've been out and about a little bit, Dana.
- 5:50Sean McAllister: I've kind of been on uh home duty because my dog was sick, so we've had to kind of nurse him back to health.
- 5:58Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 5:59Sean McAllister: So while I've been uh tending to that, you've been out doing the good stuff.
- 6:03Dayna Roselli: Well, it's funny because I messaged you today, like, hey, do you want to come to Carbone?
- 6:06Dayna Roselli: My friend's in town, and she's got some ideas for the TV show, and thinking you're gonna be like, no, and you were like, Yes.
- 6:12Sean McAllister: I'm listening I'm ready.
- 6:14Sean McAllister: I feel like Sean needs to get out.
- 6:16Sean McAllister: I've been a hermit for weeks now.
- 6:18Sean McAllister: It's like a month of getting our little guy.
- 6:21Sean McAllister: He's right here down at my feet, so I don't want to say anything disparaging and hurt his feelings.
- 6:26Dayna Roselli: But he's doing much better.
- 6:27Sean McAllister: He's doing much better.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: I can tell his personality's back.
- 6:30Dayna Roselli: He's sniffing around when I crack my hard-boiled egg to eat it at my desk.
- 6:35Sean McAllister: He's ready for more ice cubes, loves ice cubes.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: All the things.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: Um, but yes, I did go out.
- 6:40Dayna Roselli: I have uh some friends in town, and we went to Boa Steakhouse, and I was always excited to go someplace that I hadn't been yet because in Las Vegas, even though we do so much, there's no possible way to hit everything.
- 6:52Dayna Roselli: Um, so I hadn't been to Boa Steakhouse at the Venetian yet, and we were all like, hey, let's go there.
- 6:59Dayna Roselli: I absolutely loved it, Sean.
- 7:01Dayna Roselli: Now, Boa was in town for a while, closed, reopened.
- 7:06Dayna Roselli: It's in the palazzo section of the Grand Canal shops.
- 7:09Dayna Roselli: Um, and I we first of all, the staff was amazing, so nice, um, and so helpful, recommending things.
- 7:19Dayna Roselli: And like if we said, Oh, we're gonna get these two steaks, we just want to share them for the table, like we'll slice it.
- 7:25Dayna Roselli: The tableside Caesar came and the person who made it, he was amazing.
- 7:29Dayna Roselli: He was telling us every little step that he was doing and showing us the process.
- 7:33Dayna Roselli: Um, and I just loved it.
- 7:34Dayna Roselli: They recommended things, they brought us a little kind of cherry cordial drink at the end, something they were testing out at the bar that was delicious that tasted like chocolate cherries.
- 7:45Sean McAllister: Oh my.
- 7:45Dayna Roselli: Um, but anyway, the steak was fabulous.
- 7:48Dayna Roselli: Um, the martini that I ordered was well, first of all, my friend likes sugary drinks.
- 7:53Dayna Roselli: So she ordered some cocktail sugary thing, and it came smoking and bubbling with a beautiful flour in it.
- 7:58Sean McAllister: So it was a uh suitable for your feed, for your social feed.
- 8:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so it was beautiful for that.
- 8:03Dayna Roselli: Um, and then I ordered just my regular martini Tito's, and he was like, Do you want blue cheese cheese olives?
- 8:10Dayna Roselli: I was like, Yes, we talked about this before.
- 8:12Dayna Roselli: And there were three on the yep, yes, three, he got three, and then he poured my martini in at the table.
- 8:20Dayna Roselli: Love that.
- 8:21Dayna Roselli: Nice.
- 8:22Dayna Roselli: So he put the glass, the olives were in.
- 8:24Dayna Roselli: So it was like freshly chilled, yes, freshly chilled.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: Um, and my friend, he had one too, and there was a little excess, so he left the thing at the table and said, you know, feel free to pour in more.
- 8:36Dayna Roselli: So it just the Caesar salad was amazing.
- 8:39Dayna Roselli: Um, we got this corn for a side, it was absolutely delicious.
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: So, anyway, but it's beautiful inside, and they have, you know, like an indoor patio, like a patio section that's inside.
- 8:48Dayna Roselli: That was also really pretty, and it was very busy, big large tables of people there enjoying meals.
- 8:54Dayna Roselli: I really enjoyed it, and I think it's a great place.
- 8:57Dayna Roselli: Um, if you're looking for a nice steakhouse, yeah.
- 9:00Sean McAllister: I I mean I have not been over to the new location yet, but the old location I used to go to uh pretty frequently, that was over at Planet Hollywood back in the day.
- 9:10Sean McAllister: It was a hot spot, it was a hot spot, and uh I would always go in and you know eat at the bar.
- 9:16Sean McAllister: They had a little lounge area, um, and the food was always delicious.
- 9:20Sean McAllister: So I'm glad that Boa is back now over at the Grand Canal shops over at the Palazzo.
- 9:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it was really nice.
- 9:27Dayna Roselli: Um, let's talk about Awakening.
- 9:29Dayna Roselli: We just did a behind the scenes piece that is debuting in our show uh that airs in Las Vegas and Hawaii um this week, actually.
- 9:37Dayna Roselli: So we'll get it on our YouTube in just a couple days.
- 9:40Dayna Roselli: But Awakening is just such a great show at the win.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: It's uh just an amazing spectacle and feast for the eyes, right?
- 9:47Sean McAllister: Yeah, and since they launched Awakening uh a few years ago now, several years ago, I guess, um they've really the show has evolved.
- 9:57Sean McAllister: It's been kind of like a living, breathing production.
- 10:01Sean McAllister: And if you saw Awakening back when it first opened, it's a it's not a completely different show, but they've added new acts.
- 10:09Sean McAllister: There's more variety to what you see on stage now.
- 10:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 10:13Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 10:14Dayna Roselli: And you and I really enjoyed it the second first time we saw it, we liked it.
- 10:18Dayna Roselli: And then the second time we were like, wow, we really enjoyed this version.
- 10:21Dayna Roselli: And I think they're you know doing that now.
- 10:23Dayna Roselli: But like you said, always making little changes as well.
- 10:26Dayna Roselli: The theater's in the round, we love that.
- 10:27Dayna Roselli: Yep, it's great.
- 10:29Dayna Roselli: Um, now sometimes we're like, should we share this story?
- 10:31Dayna Roselli: Because it does have a lot of visuals, but I think the interview's great.
- 10:35Dayna Roselli: We we were over there uh talking with one of the cast members, um, and he was telling us that uh what he goes through every show, and they do two shows a night to get into these costumes.
- 10:45Sean McAllister: Yeah, his name is Kyle, and he basically gets strapped inside these giant, larger than life puppets is what they are.
- 10:57Sean McAllister: And so he's inside controlling them, but when you're in the stands watching in the seats, uh it feels like these creatures are have actually come to life in front of you.
- 11:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's so true.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: And right now, by the way, um, I did see because we're doing this also for our segment in LA this week, and I was looking, they're doing 30% off.
- 11:17Dayna Roselli: So if you go through now, it's I don't think for very much longer.
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: You just have to buy the ticket now, but um, it's a good deal.
- 11:26Dayna Roselli: So uh keep that in mind.
- 11:27Dayna Roselli: Listen to this story, and then we'll be back and tell you about another uh showtime they've added that might be appealing to you.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Awakening is an extraordinary spectacle.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: It's filled with illusions, puppetry, performers, acrobat, dance.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: So you leave feeling fulfilled, you feel impressed, you feel blown away and surprised by what you saw.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: Hi, my name is Kyle Tingway.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: I'm a performer here at Awakening, and I've been in the show since it started.
- 11:52Sean McAllister: Kyle took Vegas reveal backstage to see how he brings two oversized characters to life on stage each night.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: This dark and a costume specifically, I would say half several minutes.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: It's literally done in the darkness.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: As you can see, the costume is suspended.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: So we would get this first.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: And me and Regina do this together every night.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Regina finds the special passage.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: One remember lowers the costume, and another one is on the ladder and helping making sure that the skirt is also.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: And then from there, we put the headpiece on to make sure everything's good and wait for the acumen.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: And as you can see, like the fingers are weighted so that they can kind of naturally move like a handwood.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: There's I don't control the fingers, it's just gravity.
- 12:42Sean McAllister: Kyle is 10 feet tall while operating this giant puppet, but he's much more grounded when he slips into the shoes of the beast.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: These are actually flats.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: And they're elevated, and you just pick up your feet, and there's a little bunker system, and we have a cool bunker on the back of our shoes so that it fits.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: This is the beast costume.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: That one is designed by Michael Curry.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: It takes two operators to run out of name with yellow.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: This is my favorite.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: I like this one.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: I like walking with the beast head.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: I like the rest of the rooms in the music using the public.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: We're able to really make the head really sick.
- 13:29Sean McAllister: Michael Curry designed these characters.
- 13:32Sean McAllister: His work has been seen on Broadway in the Super Bowl and in several Olympic ceremonies.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: I really like being inside the puppets because you're basically watching somebody like fall for the illusion.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: You're watching somebody step out of what they know the world to be and just kind of surrender to like the fact that this is real in front of me.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: That's what really reads with awakening, is that it is so upscale, it is so out of this world, it is illusions and such an experience right before your eyes because the people that worked on it refuse to let it be anything less than that.
- 14:03Dayna Roselli: Okay, so listen to this.
- 14:04Dayna Roselli: They have added a Sunday 4 p.m.
- 14:07Dayna Roselli: show.
- 14:07Dayna Roselli: So a matinee.
- 14:09SPEAKER_03: That's great.
- 14:10Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 14:10Dayna Roselli: And like you've talked about before, when you like to go to early shows, it's great to go to a show, then then maybe go to dinner.
- 14:15Sean McAllister: Right.
- 14:16Dayna Roselli: Or, you know, get something to eat or do your gambling.
- 14:19Sean McAllister: Well, because then if you that way, then there's no like time constraint on your dinner.
- 14:25Sean McAllister: You can like just relax and enjoy it.
- 14:28Sean McAllister: I one thing I don't like is going to dinner before a show and then just like keep watching the clock and be like, oh, are we gonna have time?
- 14:37Sean McAllister: Do we need to like flag the flag the server down and get our our bill taken care of?
- 14:43SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 14:43Sean McAllister: You know, it's nice to know that you can go to a show, yep, plan your dinner afterwards.
- 14:48Sean McAllister: You know when the show is gonna end, so that doesn't matter.
- 14:51Sean McAllister: Right.
- 14:51Sean McAllister: Then you go to dinner and just enjoy the time.
- 14:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's true, it's true.
- 14:55Dayna Roselli: It's definitely a way to do it.
- 14:56Dayna Roselli: And I also think like a lot of people leave on Sundays.
- 15:00Sean McAllister: Right.
- 15:00Dayna Roselli: And so if you want to get one more show in, I know you ran into some people on a Sunday, I think that were doing that.
- 15:05Dayna Roselli: That was their last show before they were like gonna get on the plane.
- 15:08Sean McAllister: Yep, I've talked to a few people actually.
- 15:10Sean McAllister: I have people who've gone to see a show and uh people out at the pool.
- 15:15Sean McAllister: Um, uh when we were, you know, hopping around a pools on the strip, and they were like, Oh, we have a we have a late night flight, we're getting in some pool time, and then we're gonna go see a show, and then go straight from the show to the airport.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 15:28Sean McAllister: Like that's the way to do it.
- 15:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah, because you usually have to check out, right?
- 15:31Dayna Roselli: So then you're like, okay, what are we gonna do?
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: You could do lunch and then go to the show.
- 15:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and then go to the airport.
- 15:38unknown: Okay.
- 15:38Dayna Roselli: Have one more cocktail, play one more round of roulette, or whatever you want to do.
- 15:42Sean McAllister: There you go.
- 15:43Sean McAllister: Make the most, squeeze the most out of Vegas.
- 15:46Dayna Roselli: And I also noticed uh that Jabberwockies are doing a matinee in July.
- 15:50Dayna Roselli: Um, because I was I was looking up information of what their show times were uh for someone, and I was like, oh, look at these 2 p.m.
- 15:57Dayna Roselli: show times in July.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: And I thought that was cool too, that they do matinees.
- 16:02Dayna Roselli: And I think it's Saturday and Sundays for them.
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: They're doing weekend 2 p.m.
- 16:07Dayna Roselli: But you'll double check on that.
- 16:09Dayna Roselli: But if I'm if my mind is correct there.
- 16:11Dayna Roselli: Um, but hey, that's great.
- 16:13Dayna Roselli: And I was looking at their calendar, and I think I was telling you, man, they're doing like two shows.
- 16:18Dayna Roselli: I think their like seven nights a week.
- 16:21Sean McAllister: Yeah, they have a lot, they have a lot of performances.
- 16:24Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 16:25Sean McAllister: And you know, it's it's funny.
- 16:27Sean McAllister: We were recently doing uh a broadcast media tour, talking to TV stations across the country, and there were several TV anchors that we talked to who said they were like, Oh, I'm coming into town and I'm bringing my kids.
- 16:42Sean McAllister: And my friends just got back and they had their kids there, and they were shocked at how much there is for how many family activities there are, if that's what you're looking for when you're coming to town.
- 16:56Sean McAllister: And having an afternoon show like this for Jabbawockies is a great option if you are bringing the family and everybody can go.
- 17:04Sean McAllister: You know that it's entertainment that's cool for everybody to see.
- 17:09Dayna Roselli: Sure.
- 17:09Dayna Roselli: Kids love it, you know?
- 17:11Dayna Roselli: Yes, and yeah, there was one person we even talked to who said, I'm coming in for five days with my kids.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: I'm a little nervous.
- 17:16Dayna Roselli: Is there enough to do?
- 17:16Dayna Roselli: And we're like, There actually is.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: There is.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 17:19Dayna Roselli: So um, by the way, because I get particular, so they don't do Tuesdays right now in June, but then see, in July, they kick it up with let's see, July 1st.
- 17:31Dayna Roselli: Okay, Wednesday.
- 17:32Dayna Roselli: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday show.
- 17:37Dayna Roselli: So they actually kick it up in the summer, probably anticipating that more people might be there with kids, possibly, or you know, large amounts of people in the family.
- 17:47Dayna Roselli: Um, so they have the 2 p.m.
- 17:49Dayna Roselli: shows on Sundays and Saturdays.
- 17:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: But on those days, that's an additional Sean.
- 17:56Dayna Roselli: So that's three shows a day.
- 17:58Sean McAllister: Oh my god.
- 17:59Dayna Roselli: On Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m., 5 30, and 8.
- 18:03Sean McAllister: Isn't that insane?
- 18:04Sean McAllister: Those Jabbawalkies like put it all out there on stage, too.
- 18:08Sean McAllister: They're not just they don't phone it in.
- 18:11Sean McAllister: Yeah, they are like hitting those dance moves.
- 18:14Sean McAllister: They're like, you know, they have the the breakdancing that gets mixed in.
- 18:20Sean McAllister: That's a high energy show.
- 18:22Sean McAllister: That's a lot of output for those performers.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: I know it is.
- 18:25Sean McAllister: That's impressive.
- 18:26Dayna Roselli: And tickets are$59.96,$49 plus$10.96 uh ticket service fee.
- 18:32Dayna Roselli: They put it right there, excluding taxes.
- 18:34Dayna Roselli: So it's it's affordable too.
- 18:36Dayna Roselli: Good.
- 18:36Dayna Roselli: And yeah, so anyway, um, and there's tons of summer deals going on, so always keep your eye on that as well.
- 18:41Dayna Roselli: So yeah, wanted to mention that.
- 18:43Dayna Roselli: Why not, right?
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: Bring the kids, it's good.
- 18:45Dayna Roselli: We do have a lot of shows that are just just fine for kids, like we've mentioned in the past Blue Man Group, Matt Franco, you know, yeah, and more, and the list goes on.
- 18:54Sean McAllister: I don't know if we mentioned it or not, but Jabbawockies do perform over at MGM Grand.
- 18:59Dayna Roselli: Yes, MGM Grand.
- 19:01Dayna Roselli: Um, okay, there's a mob museum package happening over the summer.
- 19:04Dayna Roselli: Now, this is for 21 and over, just for the package, but you can go to the mob museum with kids if you want.
- 19:09Dayna Roselli: Um, and I thought this was a really good deal.
- 19:11Dayna Roselli: It's happening right now through August 31st.
- 19:14Dayna Roselli: The mob museum is in downtown Las Vegas.
- 19:16Dayna Roselli: It's Nevada's most visited museum.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: It has so many awards from travel websites.
- 19:21Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's a great place.
- 19:22Sean McAllister: And they're constantly adding new exhibits, they're interactive uh exhibits as well.
- 19:28Sean McAllister: So it's not just like walking through and you know, looking through glass at stuff.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: No, you're in there doing it entertained.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you're walking into the courtroom, you're looking at the pop culture exhibit, uh, showing different movies and TV shows that had mob influence.
- 19:44Dayna Roselli: They got the St.
- 19:45Dayna Roselli: Valentine's Day Massacre.
- 19:47Sean McAllister: They have part of the wall.
- 19:49Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 19:49Sean McAllister: The actual wall.
- 19:50Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: You learn a lot.
- 19:52Dayna Roselli: And you do immerse yourself in it.
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: They have you can get your picture, I think.
- 19:56Sean McAllister: You can, you can your mugshot or yeah, uh, yes.
- 19:58Sean McAllister: You're in the lineup.
- 20:00Sean McAllister: You're gonna get the picture, you're part of the lineup.
- 20:02Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 20:03Sean McAllister: I remember I have one of those.
- 20:04Dayna Roselli: I love how we celebrate this stuff in Vegas.
- 20:06Dayna Roselli: Viva Las Vegas, baby.
- 20:08Dayna Roselli: Um, let's just tell you what the package includes.
- 20:10Dayna Roselli: It's called the Big Boss package.
- 20:12Dayna Roselli: It's 95 bucks.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: It's$95.
- 20:16Dayna Roselli: Uh, you get two general admission tickets, two drinks, cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, or soft drinks, and the underground speakeasy.
- 20:24Dayna Roselli: You get free parking for up to four hours, and you get two souvenir photos.
- 20:29Dayna Roselli: Fantastic.
- 20:30Dayna Roselli: So that's a pretty good deal because this is for two$95 for two tickets, two drinks, you know.
- 20:36Dayna Roselli: So great deal for summer.
- 20:38Dayna Roselli: And again, it goes through August 31st.
- 20:40Sean McAllister: And even though uh the two drinks that you get as part of that package, even though you can get mocktails, uh, the underground speakeasy, you do have to be 21 and over to go down there because it is a bar and distillery.
- 20:54Sean McAllister: Right.
- 20:55Dayna Roselli: And that must be why it said for this package you have to be 21 and over to purchase it or whatever.
- 20:59Sean McAllister: But they do have uh a little snack bar area inside the museum itself.
- 21:05Sean McAllister: I think it's on the second floor.
- 21:07Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah.
- 21:07Sean McAllister: Um, just outside the courthouse.
- 21:10Sean McAllister: So there's a courtroom that is like the actual courtroom where a lot of the mob trials happened.
- 21:17Sean McAllister: Uh and just outside of those doors is the little uh concession area.
- 21:21Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 21:22Sean McAllister: Just thinking about it, they have places that you can actually sit down and relax.
- 21:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's nice.
- 21:27Sean McAllister: Where it's not you're not on your feet through, you know, there's it's multiple stories inside of multiple floors in that building.
- 21:35Sean McAllister: It's a big building.
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: It is a big building.
- 21:36Sean McAllister: Um, and they're looking to expand because they have so much.
- 21:39Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 21:40Sean McAllister: But thanks to organized crime, we have a great tourist attraction, a great exhibit.
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: Oh my goodness.
- 21:47Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: Um, we were at a hotel recently and we were in the elevator, and they're like, oh, skip this floor, remember?
- 21:54Dayna Roselli: They're like, You're not allowed to go down there or whatever.
- 21:56Dayna Roselli: And then and I said to the guy, is that where the bodies are buried?
- 22:01Sean McAllister: And he said, no, it's just the workshop.
- 22:04Dayna Roselli: And I said, sure.
- 22:05Dayna Roselli: That's what they all say.
- 22:06Sean McAllister: Just the workshop.
- 22:08Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 22:09Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 22:10Dayna Roselli: Well, there's a big, you know, Derek Stevens loves a big event, right?
- 22:14Dayna Roselli: He makes an event out of everything, but that's why he's good at owning casinos.
- 22:19Dayna Roselli: Um, he owns Circa, the Golden Gate, downtown, the D.
- 22:23Dayna Roselli: Um, and he's doing a whole big thing for the for moving uh this 1980s era simulated horse racing game called Sigma Derby.
- 22:33Dayna Roselli: It's moving from one of his hotel casinos to the other.
- 22:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, for a long time, Sigma Derby has been housed at the D Las Vegas.
- 22:42Sean McAllister: Um, they have an area up on the second floor there where they have coin slots, and Sigma Derby is like the centerpiece up there.
- 22:52Sean McAllister: And there are so many fans specifically of this game.
- 22:57Sean McAllister: Right.
- 22:58Sean McAllister: It's actually, I've not walked by it before when it wasn't full of people who were playing it.
- 23:05unknown: Yeah.
- 23:05Sean McAllister: And basically, it's like uh the it's this game where you put your money in and there's these little horses on a track.
- 23:13Sean McAllister: It's like a slot car thing almost, but it's slot horses, and they race around the track.
- 23:19Sean McAllister: And if your horse wins, obviously you win.
- 23:21Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:22Sean McAllister: Um, and it's randomized.
- 23:23Dayna Roselli: It's kind of like when you go to when we used to go to like Darien Lake or a carnival.
- 23:28Dayna Roselli: Those horses that it's different, but they're all in a row.
- 23:31Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 23:32Dayna Roselli: And you you cheer for your horse.
- 23:34Dayna Roselli: What do you do?
- 23:34Dayna Roselli: You keep hitting it with the or you do something to get him going.
- 23:38Sean McAllister: Where you uh spray the water gun into your little target to make your horse move forward.
- 23:43Dayna Roselli: So fun.
- 23:44Sean McAllister: That was the oh, and now we're in the season of like amusement parks.
- 23:48Sean McAllister: This is the time.
- 23:49Dayna Roselli: Anyway, sidetracking, but yes, similar to that, where it's fun to see, and you're other people around you, right?
- 23:54Sean McAllister: It is, but this uh for this one, you're not squirting the water gun.
- 23:58Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 23:58Sean McAllister: Okay, it's enclosed.
- 24:00Sean McAllister: But what Derek Stevens is doing is he is is creating this parade to celebrate the relocation of Sigma Derby from the D to the Golden Gate hotel and casino.
- 24:13Sean McAllister: So they're doing this whole procession up Fremont Street experience to bring the game to its new home.
- 24:20Dayna Roselli: Oh, I love that.
- 24:20Dayna Roselli: That's really cool.
- 24:22Dayna Roselli: And I guess um, for the Sigma, you can put anything from a cent to two bucks in there.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: So it's also cheap to play.
- 24:27Sean McAllister: That is, that's great.
- 24:28Sean McAllister: Right?
- 24:28Dayna Roselli: I don't know how much you win back, but how fun.
- 24:30Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I I do always see people surrounding that as well.
- 24:34Dayna Roselli: Um, so the final opportunity for guests to play Sigma Derby at the D will be Sunday, June 14th through midnight.
- 24:41Sean McAllister: All right.
- 24:42Dayna Roselli: So keep that in mind.
- 24:43Dayna Roselli: This podcast uh drops on a Thursday.
- 24:45Dayna Roselli: You got a few days still if you're listening um to this current time anyway.
- 24:49Dayna Roselli: And I had asked you, like, don't they have something similar at Resorts World?
- 24:53Dayna Roselli: And then you were like, no, I don't think so.
- 24:54Dayna Roselli: But I was like, we played something, and I looked it up, and the one there is digital, and it's called Fortune Cup, and that's like a popular game too.
- 25:01Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 25:01Sean McAllister: Yeah, so that makes sense.
- 25:03Dayna Roselli: There's a Fortune Cup at Resorts World, if that's your thing.
- 25:05Dayna Roselli: It's a similar type of thing, but not, you know, it's more digital.
- 25:09Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 25:10Dayna Roselli: Um, so you know, people are into these gaming things.
- 25:13Sean McAllister: People are, and hey, so there's going to be a procession and parade for Sigma Derby down on the Fremont Street experience.
- 25:21Sean McAllister: Also down at Fremont, there's going to be a pep rally, and this is all surrounding World Cup play kicking off.
- 25:29Dayna Roselli: And this is for Team USA.
- 25:31Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 25:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this is Friday, June 19th at 9 a.m.
- 25:35Dayna Roselli: at the Main Street stage.
- 25:37Dayna Roselli: It's a big Team USA pep rally because there's an international matchup between the United States States and Australia, and they're doing a big viewing party, of course, and stadium swim inside Circa.
- 25:49Dayna Roselli: So this is in the morning before that, and they're gonna have things like free giveaways, live music, a temporary tattoo station, a custom hat station, and much more.
- 25:59Dayna Roselli: Sounds fun.
- 25:59Sean McAllister: The pep rallies down on Fremont Street really are a good time because uh before the leading up to the Las Vegas Bowl uh during college football season, the uh two teams will each have their own pep rally down on Fremont Street.
- 26:16Sean McAllister: And you know, back when they would have Pac-12 games here, they would do the same thing.
- 26:21Sean McAllister: And it's just such a fun uh environment to be surrounded, but it's almost like a tailgate kind of environment because you have all uh like-minded fans in all in one place.
- 26:33Sean McAllister: Everybody's excited for the game, everybody's excited for the team, and there's just a great uh energy there.
- 26:40Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's so much fun.
- 26:42Dayna Roselli: I mean, that's the thing.
- 26:44Dayna Roselli: It's like you're in downtown Las Vegas with all these lights and hotel casinos and slot machines and table games, but then we're still having like sports prep pep rallies.
- 26:55Dayna Roselli: Like we just have such a variety, we just know how to make something out of everything.
- 26:59Sean McAllister: That's what vi Vegas does.
- 27:01Dayna Roselli: It really is fun here.
- 27:02Dayna Roselli: Um, and I we say it all the time.
- 27:04Dayna Roselli: Anyway, they're also doing a uh big event that night with the the free fireworks.
- 27:09Dayna Roselli: Um, and then I guess there's gonna be a new custom music reel celebrating America on the canopy as well, the Fremont Street Experience Canopy.
- 27:18Sean McAllister: Oh, good.
- 27:18Sean McAllister: So that adds to the America 250 celebrations that we have going on all summer.
- 27:23Sean McAllister: Right.
- 27:24Sean McAllister: Here in Vegas.
- 27:24Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 27:25Dayna Roselli: So the Pep Rally's the 19th, and that's Saturday, June 20th.
- 27:28Dayna Roselli: I think the firework loc fireworks location, you know, because we told you they're every Saturday, but they're gonna move around or in the downtown area.
- 27:35Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 27:35Sean McAllister: And by the way, uh, speaking of fireworks, I know that we've mentioned it before, but the plaza is doing their Friday night fireworks uh every every Friday night.
- 27:48Sean McAllister: Each week is what I would should have said.
- 27:50Dayna Roselli: They're doing their Friday night fireworks every Friday.
- 27:53Dayna Roselli: Every Friday.
- 27:53Dayna Roselli: Go figure.
- 27:54Dayna Roselli: That's so funny.
- 27:55Dayna Roselli: Hey, um, speaking of sports, F1 got extended, and uh not just for like a year or two.
- 28:02Dayna Roselli: Formula One will continue racing in Las Vegas through 2037, following a 10-year extension.
- 28:10Dayna Roselli: So big news with F1 in Las Vegas um came out last week.
- 28:15Sean McAllister: Yeah, and because of uh the success of those races here in Las Vegas, it's become one of the one of the flagship races of the F1 circuit year.
- 28:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 28:29Dayna Roselli: Well, it's interesting because I was in Panama with a couple girls that um I didn't know they're a friend's friend, and they're very into Formula One racing.
- 28:38Dayna Roselli: Uh, they go to a lot of the races, and they were like, yeah, I don't think people really, or the maybe they were saying like the drivers love the Vegas, you know, and then and there, you know, there was a lot of backlash and conversation.
- 28:49Dayna Roselli: Is Vegas the perfect spot because the tracks right there on the strip and you're going through buildings and all that?
- 28:56Dayna Roselli: And I was like, Yeah, but here's the deal.
- 28:58Dayna Roselli: It's the most fun.
- 28:59Dayna Roselli: It is, and that's really what matters uh for Las Vegas, I think.
- 29:05Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's it may not be up there with the original way that they do it in other cities or around the world, but we are different, and that's because we're Las Vegas and it's fun, and we have other things to do, and we have beautiful neon lights and all the things, a sphere.
- 29:23Dayna Roselli: Um, and I was showing them the sphere watching the cars go around, which they love.
- 29:28Sean McAllister: You can't beat that.
- 29:28Sean McAllister: I mean, it's like when the drivers go to Austin, they're on a track that's set outside of the city, it's a designated track just for F1.
- 29:38Sean McAllister: Um, and so it's its own area, yeah.
- 29:42Sean McAllister: Like its own speedway, yeah, kind of.
- 29:45Sean McAllister: It's not like Las Vegas, where they turn Las Vegas into the track.
- 29:50Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 29:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's so cool.
- 29:53Sean McAllister: And having the a night race, it really is just it's spectacular to see.
- 29:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it really is.
- 30:00Dayna Roselli: It kicked off in 2023, and you know, they're in the release, they were saying it's delivered 3.2 billion in cumulative economic impact for southern Nevada with all three races from 2023 to 2025 selling out, and you know, they uh listed off a bunch of different like local organizations it goes to, and so I mean it's bringing in the revenue.
- 30:24Sean McAllister: Well, and you know, that is one of the biggest complaints that I hear from people surrounding F1.
- 30:31Sean McAllister: They're like, Oh, people say, you know, it's an event for just rich people, and I never that money never gets to me.
- 30:38Sean McAllister: And it's like, well, here's the thing because we have uh events like this, that's why we don't pay state income tax.
- 30:49Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 30:50Sean McAllister: That's why we don't have a lot of taxes that other states might, because we have events like this that offset that kind of thing.
- 31:00Sean McAllister: And if you have kids in the Clark County School District, last year alone F1 contributed fifteen million dollars to support K through 12 education in southern Nevada.
- 31:13Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 31:14Sean McAllister: So I mean, uh are you getting a check in the mail?
- 31:18Sean McAllister: No, but you're also not being billed, you're not getting a bill in the mail to pay.
- 31:23Sean McAllister: No, but because F1 is here, and if you have a kid in the school district, the district is being helped by uh Formula One.
- 31:33Sean McAllister: So I think that's the part of it that people don't really there's a disconnect there.
- 31:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, for sure.
- 31:38Dayna Roselli: I agree.
- 31:39Dayna Roselli: And and you just mentioned the 15.
- 31:41Dayna Roselli: I mean, in all 43 million in 2025, yeah, uh in state and local tax revenue.
- 31:49Dayna Roselli: So spread out across.
- 31:50Dayna Roselli: And it lists a bunch of things because they have the Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation, and so they disperse it.
- 31:55Sean McAllister: Right.
- 31:56Sean McAllister: Yeah, yeah, and they they work with other uh nonprofit organizations to distribute money uh through the community as well.
- 32:03Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 32:04Dayna Roselli: All right, lots of topics today, but it's time to get to our celebrity news with a Vegas twist.
- 32:12Sean McAllister: Well, should we kick things off with uh the Las Vegas Aces?
- 32:16Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 32:16Sean McAllister: Our three-time WNBA championship Las Vegas Aces.
- 32:24Sean McAllister: Uh, they're right now in the middle of the uh Commissioner's Cup.
- 32:28Sean McAllister: This is a mid-season tournament.
- 32:31Sean McAllister: Um, and uh at one of the games recently, uh there were some celebrity sightings there.
- 32:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I feel like there are probably are often, but we're not there to visualize them.
- 32:42Dayna Roselli: But your husband was there to see it and take pictures.
- 32:45Sean McAllister: Because he works for uh the Public Education Foundation, which is the chosen charity of the Las Vegas Aces during this Commissioner's Cup tournament.
- 32:55Sean McAllister: For every game that they win, they pay a thousand bucks to the charity.
- 32:59Sean McAllister: For every game they lose, the charity gets a thousand bucks.
- 33:02Sean McAllister: So there's a lot at stake during this uh seven-game uh tournament.
- 33:07Sean McAllister: Um, but so uh Shane, my husband, was over there at the game watching, and Wanda Sykes was over there sitting courtside.
- 33:14Sean McAllister: Love the comedian.
- 33:15Sean McAllister: She's fantastic.
- 33:17Sean McAllister: Also, Spinderella.
- 33:18Sean McAllister: Ooh, Spinderella mix it up one time.
- 33:21Sean McAllister: Love her.
- 33:22Sean McAllister: You salt and peppa with spinderella, she's always with them.
- 33:25Sean McAllister: Uh so there are lots of celebrity sightings that happen at the Aces games, which are also very highly attended.
- 33:33Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 33:33Dayna Roselli: And there's also people in the sports world behind the scenes that are there.
- 33:37Dayna Roselli: Like he was saying, obviously, Mark Davis was there.
- 33:39Dayna Roselli: I know Tom Brady goes often to the to the games, and many others, like you said.
- 33:45Dayna Roselli: So it's definitely a good spot to spot some celebs.
- 33:48Sean McAllister: And then, of course, Asia Wilson, one of our star players, who's a you know, celebrity in her own right down there on playing on the court.
- 33:57Dayna Roselli: Um, now this podcast uh dropping on a Thursday.
- 34:00Dayna Roselli: I don't know where we're gonna sit right now when it comes to the Vegas Golden Knights and the Stanley Cup because we're recording on a Monday.
- 34:06Dayna Roselli: Yes, we are.
- 34:07Dayna Roselli: So we got two games to go.
- 34:10Dayna Roselli: Well, Tuesday and then Thursday.
- 34:12Dayna Roselli: Thursday.
- 34:13Dayna Roselli: Um, so we'll see, have a better idea where we stand.
- 34:16Dayna Roselli: We could we could have like won the Stanley Cup by now.
- 34:19Dayna Roselli: Well, no.
- 34:20Dayna Roselli: If the podcast comes out in Thursday morning, tonight we could win the Stanley Cup if we won on Tuesday, but we don't know.
- 34:26Sean McAllister: But we don't know.
- 34:27Dayna Roselli: So, but it's been fun to watch celebrities uh embracing the Vegas Golden Knights, too.
- 34:31Dayna Roselli: There's always celebrities there, you know.
- 34:33Dayna Roselli: Oh gosh.
- 34:33Dayna Roselli: But Nick Carter did the crank the horn.
- 34:37Sean McAllister: The siren.
- 34:38Dayna Roselli: Siren, yes.
- 34:39Dayna Roselli: Um, and then uh other people from other sports.
- 34:43Dayna Roselli: The Raiders have been really supportive, too.
- 34:45Sean McAllister: They have Fernando Mendoza uh was there to to crank the siren as well.
- 34:50Sean McAllister: Um, lots of Raiders players have have been up there and been asked to be a part of that tradition.
- 34:57Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 34:57Sean McAllister: Um, but we always have a celebrity of some form or fashion getting the the hype siren going.
- 35:05Dayna Roselli: And we have great, you know, they had like a big concert in the courtyard before, um, Toshiba Plaza, I should say, before the game even kicked out.
- 35:12Dayna Roselli: Who's that?
- 35:13Dayna Roselli: Millennium Play?
- 35:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and that looked great.
- 35:16Dayna Roselli: Um, I was walking in to get my seat at a bar and restaurant up.
- 35:20Dayna Roselli: I met my friend up in Centennial Hills and was seeing it on the big screen.
- 35:24Dayna Roselli: I'm like, looked massive and looked a lot like a lot of fun.
- 35:27Sean McAllister: Well, it's so funny.
- 35:28Sean McAllister: My dad called uh yesterday and he was like, Hey, uh, there's you know, some people from our hometown that are out there in Vegas right now, and they really want to go to the uh Stanley Cup playoff game, um, the Stanley Cup final game.
- 35:46Sean McAllister: Um, do you is there any way you could help them get tickets?
- 35:50Sean McAllister: And I said, the tickets that I have access to are the same tickets that everyone has access to, and they're on Ticketmaster.
- 36:01SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 36:01Sean McAllister: They go online, those are the tickets that are available.
- 36:04Sean McAllister: And actually, for the last game, I think the upper deck seats were going close to 600 a piece for the upper upper deck, down closer, well over 2,000 each.
- 36:16Sean McAllister: Um, but here was here was my solution to that.
- 36:19Sean McAllister: I said if they want to go and have the whole atmosphere, go an hour before the game starts, get that uh golden nights, the nightline parade in through the plaza, uh across Toshiba Plaza, into the arena, and stay and watch the game out on Toshiba Plaza.
- 36:40Sean McAllister: So fun.
- 36:41Sean McAllister: It's great.
- 36:41Sean McAllister: They have the food trucks out there.
- 36:43Sean McAllister: It's so much it really is.
- 36:46Sean McAllister: Yeah, and it was packed out there the other day.
- 36:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 36:50Dayna Roselli: Packed.
- 36:50Dayna Roselli: It really was.
- 36:51Dayna Roselli: It looked great because people know now.
- 36:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I think they always knew, but they realized, like when they won the Stanley Cup and they couldn't go to the game and they weren't on Toshiba Plaza, how that was the place to be.
- 37:01Sean McAllister: Look, I just got goosebumps all over again just thinking about being there.
- 37:06Sean McAllister: We were there.
- 37:06Sean McAllister: Oh, it was so glad that we made that call.
- 37:09Dayna Roselli: I know, thank goodness.
- 37:11Dayna Roselli: I keep thinking about that now.
- 37:12Dayna Roselli: Like, do we need to get there?
- 37:13Dayna Roselli: Because Thursday tonight we're going to the Vanderpump Hotel opening, and I was like, but what if that's the night and we're away, the game's away.
- 37:20Dayna Roselli: So everyone's gonna probably be at Toshiba Plaza or the viewing party inside to T-Mobile Arena.
- 37:26Sean McAllister: Right.
- 37:26Dayna Roselli: So um, I don't know.
- 37:28Dayna Roselli: It's good stuff and it's so much fun.
- 37:30Dayna Roselli: And listen, I know people don't around the the country in Canada probably don't love the uh we get a lot of flack, the Golden Knights fans.
- 37:38Dayna Roselli: And yeah, there's a lot of haters because of our spectacle that we put on beforehand and stuff.
- 37:42Dayna Roselli: But you know what?
- 37:43Dayna Roselli: Viva Las Vegas, whatever.
- 37:45Dayna Roselli: We do pretty well.
- 37:47Sean McAllister: Well, and you know what?
- 37:48Sean McAllister: It's a fun game to go to.
- 37:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 37:51Sean McAllister: I don't care which team you're rooting for, it's just fun.
- 37:55Dayna Roselli: We may be cheesy, we may be over the top, but that's who we are.
- 37:59Sean McAllister: And I've seen a lot of people uh talking about the fact that this has been one of, if not the best, Stanley Cup final matchups that they've seen.
- 38:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's great.
- 38:12Sean McAllister: It's been oh my god, it's been so nerve-wracking.
- 38:15Sean McAllister: I've been needing to like keep a bowl of blood pressure medicine next to me and just keep popping pills.
- 38:20Dayna Roselli: I know that double overtime was insane.
- 38:23Dayna Roselli: We were like winning by so much.
- 38:25Dayna Roselli: Um, and then it just er the everything just changed.
- 38:27Dayna Roselli: But I was thinking when you were talking about the price of tickets and stuff, I was thinking all those people really got a show.
- 38:32Dayna Roselli: They show and they got a really long game.
- 38:34Sean McAllister: Got your money's worth out of those tickets.
- 38:36Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 38:37Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 38:38Dayna Roselli: Um, real quick, let's just mention um the Fountain Blue Las Vegas Hall of Excellence.
- 38:43Dayna Roselli: We've talked about it before.
- 38:45Dayna Roselli: Tons of memorabilia in there, but when it comes to celebrities, they've been adding more and more memorabilia.
- 38:50Dayna Roselli: And I love this because um it's not just the same thing.
- 38:53Dayna Roselli: You can go back in, and if you're interested, um the 20 speaking of the aces, the 2025 Las Vegas Aces Championship ring is there now.
- 39:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 39:02Dayna Roselli: Jack Eichel's 2023 Stanley Cup Finals jersey.
- 39:06Sean McAllister: Very cool.
- 39:07Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 39:08Dayna Roselli: Um, what else?
- 39:10Sean McAllister: Uh going to tennis, Rafael Nadal's 2022 Australian Open Outfit.
- 39:15Sean McAllister: Oh, that's cool, is now included in the lineup.
- 39:19Sean McAllister: Um, we have some uh World Series uh gear.
- 39:23Dayna Roselli: Um Freddie Freeman's 2024 World Series Grand Slam Ball.
- 39:28Dayna Roselli: There's a ball there, too.
- 39:29Sean McAllister: Yeah, Stacy Ogman's 1990 UNLV championship ring.
- 39:35Sean McAllister: Which, you know, uh there's been uh talk for for well, I guess decades now about how the UNLV basketball team was like the greatest ever in the 90s.
- 39:48Sean McAllister: That was like the golden era of UNLV basketball.
- 39:51Sean McAllister: And so uh some memorabilia uh connected to that to that era here in Las Vegas.
- 39:59Dayna Roselli: So some cool stuff if you want to get over there.
- 40:01Dayna Roselli: Um tickets are$35 when I glanced.
- 40:04Dayna Roselli: I remember ticket prices can always change if you're listening to the podcast at a different time.
- 40:08Dayna Roselli: But general admission,$35.
- 40:10Dayna Roselli: Um, they do have some deals for Nevada residents, military, and seniors, um, but you have to have that valid ID with you.
- 40:17Dayna Roselli: Uh, keep in mind that parking's complimentary for Nevada residents and Fountain Blue Rewards members through Labor Day.
- 40:24Dayna Roselli: And also valet validation is available.
- 40:26Dayna Roselli: So if you go to the Hall of Excellence, you can get your valet validated.
- 40:30Dayna Roselli: You just need to either, you know, dine, shop, visit the Hall of Excellence, visit the spa, something like that.
- 40:36Dayna Roselli: And you can always get the valet validation if you want a valet for free.
- 40:39Sean McAllister: Well, and I was gonna say, if you stop over there, make sure that you do get a Fountain Blue Rewards membership card.
- 40:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 40:46Sean McAllister: Because they do really have a lot of perks across the property.
- 40:49Sean McAllister: So card holders.
