Sierra and Stripe Bring Payments Into AI Agent Calls

Through a deal with Stripe, Sierra's AI agents now take card payments within the phone call itself. At Cedar, 71.3% of calls in which a payment starts end with the money collected, so 287 in every thousand don't result in a successful payment. With Sierra on Stripe's marketplace, competition among vendors may shift from conversation quality to cash collected.
