Christ Himself - A Daily Devotional · Mar 14, 2026 · 7m

The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. — John 6:63Jesus said His words are spirit and life. The Spirit gives life; the letter kills. Through the word of truth, we're brought forth as new creations. Christ cleanses the church by the washing of water with the word. The psalmist knew this — he hid God's word in his heart that he might not sin.
