  Speaker 1: done your absolute best and you think you can't do

  Speaker 1: don't get the job done, take yourself a deep breath

  Speaker 1: that has worked every single time. Every single time. Because

  Speaker 1: Dad did my best. Well, let me ask you something else.

  Speaker 1: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied

  Speaker 1: a little harder? Could you have shown up a little

  Speaker 1: bit earlier? Could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,

  Speaker 1: well then, okay, that's what you should have done then. See,

  Speaker 1: there's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,

  Speaker 1: very sad statement for you right now. You're never going

  Speaker 1: to get anything done. You're never going to get to

  Speaker 1: the top. Not to the top. You can get halfway up. Now,

  Speaker 1: for those that have the wherewithal and the power, the desire,

  Speaker 1: the drive, and the gut-wrenching effort to get to the top.

  Speaker 1: to get to the top of whatever, your profession, your field,

  Speaker 1: your career, whatever it is, you got to do extra.

  Speaker 1: You have to do more. More is expected of you. More,

  Speaker 1: but here's what's really crazy. More is required of you.

  Speaker 1: Don't live your life in a lackadaisical state. Don't wake

  Speaker 1: up every day with the feeling of, well, you know,

  Speaker 1: whatever happens, happens. No, man, have a say so in

  Speaker 1: your life. You, first of all, let me ask you something.

  Speaker 1: Who has God? Name the person that God has given

  Speaker 1: authority over you. Name the person. But who is the person?

  Speaker 1: Nobody has domain over you. God didn't create that person.

  Speaker 1: So what you sitting here for, man? What are you

  Speaker 1: sitting here for? Letting people who do not know direct

  Speaker 1: your path. Why are you worried about all these people

  Speaker 1: with what they got to say about you and all

  Speaker 1: these people with what they got to think about you?

  Speaker 1: When here's the news flash, they don't know either. All

  Speaker 1: these people, that you overly concerned about. All these people

  Speaker 1: that you go into these answers for, they need answers too. Stop.

  Speaker 1: What are you doing here? Gather yourself for a minute.

  Speaker 1: Here is a solution to all of that. You have

  Speaker 1: one source that will be there for you to the

  Speaker 1: end of time. And that is your relationship with God.

  Speaker 1: That is the one thing that's solid and for sure.

  Speaker 1: He's behind the wall. He's in your jail cell. He

  Speaker 1: rides with you in the police car. He's with you

  Speaker 1: on your job up at the school. He's down there

  Speaker 1: in the board meetings with you. He goes with you

  Speaker 1: when you travel on planes. He sits with you when

  Speaker 1: you're in a relationship. He helps you with your parenting skills.

  Speaker 1: He helps you. He's there to assist you. If you

  Speaker 1: do the right things, he'll show you and guide you
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: to your next job. When you lose your job and

  Speaker 1: you think it's a wrap, there's some good behind it, man.

  Speaker 1: God is always working on your behalf to those that believe.

  Speaker 1: You just got to believe. He don't ask you for

  Speaker 1: nothing else. Believe in me. That's all he asks you

  Speaker 1: you make the decision to believe in him, And it

  Speaker 1: what they think for? Why? Who are they? They need

  Speaker 1: God to you. You tell them you found something new

  Speaker 1: to say about that when they need God to. That's

  Speaker 1: what amazes me, man, about people sit up in here, man,

  Speaker 1: be knocking your dream and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man,

  Speaker 1: a prayer before I take this test, just don't bow

  Speaker 1: your head. Don't you pray. But if some kids want

  Speaker 1: to get together, that's some crazy mess. That's what happened

  Speaker 1: in our schools. We took prayer out of schools. Now

  Speaker 1: look at our schools. You send your child to school

  Speaker 1: And someone else comes back home. That's a whole nother

  Speaker 1: thing right here. That's not what I want to talk

  Speaker 1: to you about. But I was just throwing it out because,

  Speaker 1: you know, hey, man, your relationship with God is essential

  Speaker 1: to your success as a person. It's essential to your existence.

  Speaker 1: It's essential to where you're trying to go and what

  Speaker 1: you're trying to be because he made you. Why would

  Speaker 1: you not talk to the person that made you to

  Speaker 1: find out what he created you for? I ain't talking

  Speaker 1: about your parents. Who made your parents? This is God.

  Speaker 1: We created in his image. Why would you not talk

  Speaker 1: to your maker to see why you got made? That

  Speaker 1: don't make sense to you. If you're sitting and gotten

  Speaker 1: yourself in a situation, you sitting in a jail cell somewhere,

  Speaker 1: you locked up, you doing some time, man, be a

  Speaker 1: good time for you to reflect. But whatever your situation is, man,

  Speaker 1: God can get you through it. He can give you
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: the strength. the courage, the wherewithal, the understanding, everything you need,

  Speaker 1: the wisdom to get you through anything you're going through.

  Speaker 1: You just got to touch base with him. I need
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: God every single day of my life. And what he's
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: done for me, man, off the chain. But guess what?

  Speaker 1: He'll do the same thing for you.
