- 1:52Speaker 1: to create a two tech two index version, let's get
- 1:54Speaker 1: into this centered around healthcare.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Let's get into this. What two would you recommend for
- 1:59Speaker 2: this combination? I think this is a great question.
- 2:03Speaker 3: But one thing I do want to stress is I
- 2:05Speaker 3: want you got to stay focused on what you have
- 2:07Speaker 3: a portfolio at the moment, because I think too many
- 2:10Speaker 3: people once again take their eyes off the main thing.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I would do v o VT. I el l instruct
- 2:19Speaker 3: what I've talked about before. I know it's not fun,
- 2:22Speaker 3: and this is where men I'm not trying to belabor
- 2:25Speaker 3: a point on brother. I think too often times as men,
- 2:30Speaker 3: we look for the new exciting thing opposed to the
- 2:33Speaker 3: thing that's working.
- 2:34Speaker 2: There's a reason we don't have trade thirsts market mondays
- 2:40Speaker 2: is working right.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Too many people like try and create too much diversity
- 2:45Speaker 3: in their portfolio, and you end up telling the thing
- 2:47Speaker 3: that's great for something that's good. Where if you just
- 2:50Speaker 3: kept pouring money into the thing that's working, you'll be
- 2:53Speaker 3: a okay, So a great question if you have currently
- 2:57Speaker 3: been investing in TO and that's some change. But if
- 3:00Speaker 3: I was focusing on a healthcare version, I would be
- 3:03Speaker 3: striker and normally and hold.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Forever, striker literally and hold interesting.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I chose specific ETFs in healthcare, and so I went
- 3:16Speaker 1: with Vanguard as well.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Uh, the VHT and Spider.
- 3:22Speaker 1: You know, we always talk about XLK and we talked
- 3:24Speaker 1: about XLI. Uh, there one is XLV. And I told
- 3:28Speaker 1: people in our class, especially if you're not familiar with sectors, right,
- 3:33Speaker 1: ETFs and indexes are probably the best way. But inside
- 3:36Speaker 1: of those ETFs, you should go look at the holdings
- 3:39Speaker 1: and go look at the largest allocations inside those those ETFs,
- 3:43Speaker 1: And for XLV, you're gonna I mean for v HD
- 3:46Speaker 1: as well, really is usually number one, right, the number
- 3:50Speaker 1: two is United health and so we've we've watched that
- 3:53Speaker 1: of health take a bathroom obviously with healthcare plans of
- 3:57Speaker 1: skyrocket and really no rhym.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Or reason for it. So I said, let I knew
- 4:01Speaker 2: you would probably go traditional with Strike.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I know that's one of your favorite companies, and I
- 4:04Speaker 1: think we were both lily and so I threw two
- 4:06Speaker 1: wild cards in there in terms of the healthcare space,
- 4:09Speaker 1: and one we're probably not going to think healthcare but nah.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So CBS is a company that I've spoken about plenty
- 4:18Speaker 1: of times, and they kind of have this like soul
- 4:22Speaker 1: survivor syndrome. That is interesting when we think about growing
- 4:26Speaker 1: up in the past, maybe five to ten years, there
- 4:29Speaker 1: was a right eight's yeah, it used to be a
- 4:32Speaker 1: Walgreensian neighborhood, good.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Luck if you can find it. And CBS is still here,
- 4:38Speaker 2: not thousand locations.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And they have vertical integration, which is very unique in
- 4:44Speaker 1: the sense that they have insurance they bought so they
- 4:48Speaker 1: have the insurance right, they have prescription delivery, and they
- 4:51Speaker 1: have direct patient care. We have all those things in
- 4:55Speaker 1: one whereas United Healthcare doesn't quite have it. They're the
- 4:58Speaker 1: largest provider of health insurance. We won't have all three verticals.
- 5:03Speaker 1: So when you think about it in that sense, somebody
- 5:05Speaker 1: all right. People still look to find out each one
- 5:09Speaker 1: of those verticals from different places. Then my wildcard came
- 5:13Speaker 1: in and I said, well, who can disrupt them from
- 5:16Speaker 1: the retail space and who can also disrupt them from
- 5:19Speaker 1: the primary care space? And then I came to this
- 5:22Speaker 1: company called Amazon, and I thought, damn not a thousand
- 5:27Speaker 1: locations is great until you can have same day delivery
- 5:30Speaker 1: straight to your house. Now you've got a billion locations,
- 5:33Speaker 1: right because everybody, if you're going to get it delivered,
- 5:36Speaker 1: you have to have an address. I'm like, all right, well,
- 5:38Speaker 1: that could kick in the door for them from a
- 5:40Speaker 1: retail standpoint, But as soon as they have AI agents
- 5:44Speaker 1: and that jetic is a big thing for Amazon.
- 5:48Speaker 2: And we saw this kind of during COVID when you
- 5:49Speaker 2: couldn't go to.
- 5:50Speaker 1: The doctor, but you had that telehealth situation where you
- 5:52Speaker 1: call and you can give the symptoms and the doctor
- 5:56Speaker 1: would call you. As we get further on in this AI,
- 6:00Speaker 1: especially with the gent ticket, and we saw industries that
- 6:03Speaker 1: will be disrupted law for sure, healthcare is going to
- 6:06Speaker 1: be another one.
- 6:07Speaker 2: If Amazon has the agentic.
- 6:09Speaker 1: AI in the healthcare field with the direct to consumer
- 6:13Speaker 1: retail space, I think they become the number two in
- 6:16Speaker 1: the healthcare ETF.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Funds going forward. Okay, I got a question for this
- 6:24Speaker 2: is my first pushback.
- 6:26Speaker 3: You ever, how you do it at CBS and Amazon
- 6:29Speaker 3: in the same class.
- 6:31Speaker 2: No, no, No, CBS is a wildcard. Amazon is not really. Yeah,
- 6:37Speaker 2: you know why it's a wildcard.
- 6:38Speaker 1: It's because it's one of these sleeper companies that is
- 6:42Speaker 1: in your neighborhood.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You probably frequent it, but you're not thinking of it
- 6:45Speaker 1: as a company that you can invest in. But you
- 6:48Speaker 1: you look at it, you're to day it's up forty
- 6:49Speaker 1: six even in the midst of all these tariffs.
- 6:53Speaker 2: You're to date, it's up forty six percent.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Has it come down from its highs of one hundred
- 6:58Speaker 1: and eleven I think maybe ten years ago and it
- 7:01Speaker 1: hit another one hundred and six.
- 7:03Speaker 2: It looks like it's on that upward momentum again. We'll see.
- 7:06Speaker 1: But it's just an interesting company when you think of
- 7:08Speaker 1: vertical integration inside of healthcare, that makes it very unique.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but there goes my Amazon again. I know y'are
- 7:16Speaker 2: gonna say I'm biased, but there's.
- 7:19Speaker 3: The part about the bias and being upset about a pit.
- 7:23Speaker 3: There are only certain companies that are generational companies.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Apple is that for a long time, and videos having
- 7:30Speaker 2: the moment.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Microsoft has found a way to put themselves back in
- 7:34Speaker 3: the conversation.
- 7:36Speaker 2: That's what had a chance ams, honest, one of those ones.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Every generation, you may get maybe ten companies or twelve
- 7:45Speaker 3: companies that are going to have the twenty or thirty
- 7:47Speaker 3: year run and they keep finding what, let's be very out,
- 7:50Speaker 3: has found ways to innovate better than Apple. It's just
- 7:54Speaker 3: not saying that they don't have a tim cook at
- 7:55Speaker 3: the moment, but over the last three or four years,
- 7:58Speaker 3: they've done a better job.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Sure, and all those companies are still relying on it.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And when we talk when we talked about AWS, we
- 8:04Speaker 1: could say like he as Google's on his way and you.
- 8:07Speaker 2: As Microsoft is in terms of cloud. But they're still
- 8:10Speaker 2: a leader.
- 8:11Speaker 1: There still a leader, and they have the cat pex
- 8:13Speaker 1: to actually spend to innovate. So I know that they're
- 8:18Speaker 1: you know, their profit margins aren't as wise as a
- 8:20Speaker 1: company like a video.
- 8:21Speaker 2: There's a reason for that.
- 8:22Speaker 1: They're continuency building, and they're not just doing it in
- 8:24Speaker 1: one industry, which makes them so unique and is why
- 8:27Speaker 1: they becomes so dominant.
- 8:28Speaker 2: And so they enter.
- 8:30Speaker 1: This from an AI standpoint with the lead of having cloud,
- 8:33Speaker 1: having infrastructure, having their own GPUs. They're going to be
- 8:36Speaker 1: doing that for a reason. It's We had this conversation
- 8:39Speaker 1: in Virginia. We were talking to a gentleman seventy three
- 8:42Speaker 1: years old and he was talking about he Owen's land
- 8:43Speaker 1: in Richmond, and he was like, I used to sell
- 8:47Speaker 1: lumber for like ten to fifteen years, but you know,
- 8:50Speaker 1: it's not that fruitful in a sense where you make
- 8:52Speaker 1: maybe six figures, but it takes time to grow the trees.
- 8:56Speaker 2: He was like, there's a new thing that we're going
- 8:58Speaker 2: to be doing soon. I'm like, what is it.
- 8:59Speaker 1: He was like, these companies keep coming and they want
- 9:03Speaker 1: to build data centers on my land.
- 9:06Speaker 2: And I was like, tell me more, tell me more. Yeah.
- 9:11Speaker 1: And as we start speaking and he started sharing his knowledge,
- 9:14Speaker 1: he was like, Yo, it's everywhere. It's everywhere, and you
- 9:17Speaker 1: can hear it. I mean you can hear the rhetoric
- 9:19Speaker 1: saying people are going to slow down, and some of
- 9:21Speaker 1: that will be true.
- 9:23Speaker 2: But the Mega caps they're in a race to beat
- 9:27Speaker 2: each other for sure. Please know that. Please know that.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So if you hear Microsoft saying they did something, just
- 9:34Speaker 1: know that AMA's not. They're not looking nick for about race,
- 9:39Speaker 1: thinking like no, we need to do more.
- 9:40Speaker 4: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 9:44Speaker 4: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 9:48Speaker 4: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 9:52Speaker 4: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 9:56Speaker 4: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because as a
- 10:00Speaker 4: President Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United
- 10:03Speaker 4: States Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal
- 10:08Speaker 4: border crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and
- 10:12Speaker 4: over one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If
- 10:15Speaker 4: you are here illegally, your next you will be fine
- 10:19Speaker 4: nearly one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you
- 10:23Speaker 4: will never return. But if you register using our CBP
- 10:27Speaker 4: home app and leave now, you could be allowed to
- 10:30Speaker 4: return legally. Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump
- 10:35Speaker 4: America's laws, border and families
- 10:37Speaker 1: Will be Protected sponsored by the United States Department of
- 10:40Speaker 1: Homeland Security,
