Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: I know it's cheap pizza and everything. It's not bad
- 0:02Speaker 1: in a pinch, like.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Cardboard, Jesus, like plastic, interesting, like it made great from
- 0:13Speaker 2: a Tobey factory.
- 0:14Speaker 3: This would have been really good, but the sauce with
- 0:17Speaker 3: a little spicy.
- 0:18Speaker 1: What was your what was your approach? What did we
- 0:20Speaker 1: learn today when cooking frozen pizzas?
- 0:23Speaker 4: You need to take the cardboard off?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Oh my god, stay out of my frish.
- 0:29Speaker 4: It sounds.
- 0:34Speaker 1: We found not one, not two, not three, and a four,
- 0:37Speaker 1: not five, but six frozen pizzas under five bucks. Some
- 0:42Speaker 1: of them came from Aldi, some of them came from
- 0:45Speaker 1: Dollar General, one of them came from Family Dollar, and
- 0:48Speaker 1: one of them from Save a Lot, who turns out
- 0:51Speaker 1: doesn't take American Express. We have no idea which is which,
- 0:55Speaker 1: although slightly the chefs have a little inside tip, not
- 0:58Speaker 1: a big deal. And at the end of the episode
- 1:00Speaker 1: we are gonna name one.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Cheap pizza the King of frozen pizzas. Anything about this,
- 1:07Speaker 5: you crazy crew? M excited?
- 1:11Speaker 6: Ye?
- 1:11Speaker 7: Yes, it smells good in here.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It does smell like a cheap pizza rha in here.
- 1:17Speaker 1: And if you didn't hear that real quickly we have
- 1:19Speaker 1: the full crew in the house because at the time
- 1:21Speaker 1: of the recording we have a full weekend of early
- 1:23Speaker 1: morning softball. They're all hands on deck and we're gonna
- 1:28Speaker 1: do pizza. Shout out Avery and Low for doing fifty
- 1:33Speaker 1: percent of the cooking. Fantastic and we had this idea,
- 1:37Speaker 1: Avery and myself. We went to a bunch of them.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Hopefully by this point in the episode, you've already seen
- 1:42Speaker 1: all of the videos in the footage of us going
- 1:45Speaker 1: into the stores and which pizzas we got, and at the.
- 1:49Speaker 5: End of the episode, I'll reveal which one is which.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So to paint the scene for the audio listeners, what
- 1:54Speaker 1: do we have going on in the kitchen, Isla? If
- 1:56Speaker 1: you look around, what are you seeing for pizzas?
- 1:59Speaker 6: I'm seeing a fluffy pizza. I'm seeing a flat pizza,
- 2:05Speaker 6: Another flat pizza.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Let me guess, another flat pizza, Another.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Flat pizza, and two more flat pizzas. Okay, so pepperoni, cheese.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Yeah, so we have six different pizzas. That's what she's
- 2:19Speaker 5: tried to get at.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Some of them flat, some of them there, a couple
- 2:22Speaker 1: of pepperonia, a couple of cheese, and there's six different stations.
- 2:26Speaker 1: We have them labeled just a through f They don't
- 2:29Speaker 1: know the brand names. They kind of do because the
- 2:31Speaker 1: boxes are laying around here, but we're not going to
- 2:33Speaker 1: reveal them yet. Avery, you went to the store with
- 2:36Speaker 1: me and we.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Looked for some pizzas, right, Yes, How hard was it
- 2:41Speaker 5: to walk into these stores and find a five dollar
- 2:44Speaker 5: pizza that looked decent? Not very hard, pretty easy, right?
- 2:50Speaker 1: But if you go to like Family Dollar and stuff,
- 2:52Speaker 1: you didn't even know the Family Dollars sold pizzas. And
- 2:55Speaker 1: I'm a little sorry to Meg. She just wanted a
- 2:58Speaker 1: red baron. Wasn't a red baron under five bucks that
- 3:02Speaker 1: we saw at any locations?
- 3:03Speaker 5: Did Weaves?
- 3:04Speaker 4: No?
- 3:04Speaker 3: We saw them, but they were over and like.
- 3:06Speaker 5: I said, if you if you saw there the footage,
- 3:08Speaker 5: the pre footage.
- 3:09Speaker 1: There was one I think that was two dollars and
- 3:11Speaker 1: fifty cents. Most of them are what in the three
- 3:14Speaker 1: fifty ran couple were four something. There was one that
- 3:18Speaker 1: was four ninety nine normally at all of these that
- 3:20Speaker 1: looked really good that was on.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Sale for what like two fifty three bucks, but Avery
- 3:24Speaker 5: said no, she shot it down, but it would have
- 3:26Speaker 5: been seven pizzas. We didn't need seven. So again this
- 3:30Speaker 5: would be fun. There are common theme.
- 3:34Speaker 1: But if just out the gate with you, guys, wolla,
- 3:36Speaker 1: pizza's dancing over there. I think that's time to go.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Do you guys see that the cookie sheet jumped.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Out the gate?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Looking around you guys can all look at the pizzas,
- 3:45Speaker 1: looking at the six options in your brain. Is they're
- 3:47Speaker 1: a clear winner? Yes, but you're gonna rank them fairly?
- 3:50Speaker 1: What are we gonna rank them on?
- 3:51Speaker 5: Low? The pizzas.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Cheese, sauce, and crust.
- 3:58Speaker 5: You looked so confused, like were just taking an algebra regions.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I wasn't really listening.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Oh wow, she's not listening. Nobody else is actually listening.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Let's just get to the pizza. Then, at this point,
- 4:11Speaker 5: do we want.
- 4:12Speaker 1: To start just go A through F? Do we want
- 4:14Speaker 1: to mix it up? How do we want to listen?
- 4:15Speaker 5: Let's go? We want to go F to A Yes, yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 5: mix it up. F is over in the corner.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Everybody can quietly go grab themselves a slice of pizza
- 4:24Speaker 1: and if somebody wants to grab one low or avery,
- 4:26Speaker 1: grab one for Meg and uh or me.
- 4:30Speaker 5: F it is everybody went to a different sheet. That
- 4:32Speaker 5: was awkward. It's okay.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Reading is hard and like I said, we went Family Dollar.
- 4:40Speaker 5: We went to.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I did, like I said, I that's the first time
- 4:44Speaker 1: I went to the Family Dollar in Ogdensburg. Didn't even
- 4:48Speaker 1: know they had coolers, but they did.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Can we do a little ranch as like a second test?
- 4:53Speaker 1: You know what, if you're thinking it, then we're allowed
- 4:56Speaker 1: to do it. Get the ranch out in in and
- 5:00Speaker 1: I'm accepting this. I am not a huge Hey let's
- 5:03Speaker 1: dip pizza in there, but I feel like this pizza
- 5:06Speaker 1: is gonna need some ranch. I'm not gonna do it.
- 5:11Speaker 5: I love Meg. You guys doing ranch. You guys can
- 5:13Speaker 5: keep it over there. You guys got a Ranchers bonus
- 5:16Speaker 5: core for Avery and Lowe. The Ranchers.
- 5:19Speaker 1: We do apologize. We got old chairs, we got an
- 5:22Speaker 1: old kitchen. You're gonna hear creek and you're gonna hear chewing.
- 5:24Speaker 5: It is what it is. So the first one we're
- 5:26Speaker 5: starting off with is going to be a flat pepperoni pizza,
- 5:32Speaker 5: flat pepperoni pizza. I'm showing it to the camera, I mean,
- 5:37Speaker 5: base just on look, does it look good?
- 5:40Speaker 4: Can we start?
- 5:41Speaker 5: Yeah? Go ahead, you guys can eat whatever. No flop.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Both of them are looking like straight disgust. No, I
- 5:48Speaker 1: like this one. Oh I thought your face went.
- 5:51Speaker 4: No, it's just because we both already took a bite.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Oh no, as soon as you guys get a pizza,
- 5:54Speaker 1: you guys, because that way you guys chewin. Ever, so
- 5:58Speaker 1: when I'm chewing, you guys are talking, so again, we're
- 6:00Speaker 1: gonna go cheese and what else?
- 6:02Speaker 4: Low sauce ranching for me? And avery crust.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Mkay and an overall? Hmmm, I might need someone to
- 6:15Speaker 5: write down. Do you guys have room for me?
- 6:17Speaker 4: I got you.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I have a lot of room.
- 6:18Speaker 5: Perfect, all right, I'll go first. If you guys want
- 6:22Speaker 5: uh cheese, I'm gonna say three point two sauce three
- 6:28Speaker 5: point eight? What else is there?
- 6:33Speaker 7: Crust?
- 6:34Speaker 5: Crust? There is no crust, very thin crust.
- 6:38Speaker 3: It's a little bit.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Are we going out of five or out of ten?
- 6:43Speaker 5: What do you guys want?
- 6:43Speaker 6: Ten?
- 6:44Speaker 5: Ten? Crust? Four point eight? What is that? And then
- 6:51Speaker 5: what overall? I'm gonna I don't agree at all for
- 6:57Speaker 5: me four point nine.
- 7:01Speaker 6: I haven't tried to crush yet.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Okay, alright, whateverel says their scores read through them m hmm, yeah, terrible.
- 7:12Speaker 5: I love it's a good five dollars pizza.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I did crust seven point five, cheese, A five sauce
- 7:19Speaker 2: and eight and an overall like A seven.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Okay, I like it. About who's up next?
- 7:28Speaker 3: I got you all right, go cheese four point two,
- 7:32Speaker 3: crust five point two, sauce four point two, overall five
- 7:37Speaker 3: point three.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Okay, all right, low Riley, you're both chewing, so I'll
- 7:42Speaker 5: give you a minute. Loves good BUCkies for cheese.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I said five point seven five, sauce seven point three,
- 7:51Speaker 4: cross four point two, with ranch seven point four.
- 7:55Speaker 7: And overall like.
- 7:57Speaker 4: No, ranch is six point seven.
- 7:58Speaker 3: It was worth.
- 8:01Speaker 5: To you do that on purpose?
- 8:03Speaker 1: No, No, all right, Ila, well done, Avery, I forgot
- 8:07Speaker 1: the bonus Ranch edition.
- 8:09Speaker 3: It was discussing a threat.
- 8:10Speaker 5: She's wrong, Yeah, Isla hit us.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Sauce two point five, crust four, cheese five and an
- 8:19Speaker 6: overall five point five.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Okay, so it's a. It's a. It's an overall mid pizza.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Not bad.
- 8:25Speaker 1: It's the starter. Let's go with ah, We're gonna go
- 8:27Speaker 1: with the pepperoni.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Is this this is C? I don't know E.
- 8:34Speaker 1: All right, we're jumping to E, which makes sense because
- 8:39Speaker 1: in the alphabet, if you do it backwards, this is
- 8:42Speaker 1: gonna be our second pepperoni and our final pepperoni.
- 8:45Speaker 5: The rest are cheese.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And that was one thing that we did see that
- 8:49Speaker 1: not every place had an under five dollar cheese pizza.
- 8:53Speaker 1: We tried to keep it standard, so this one gets pepperoni.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That's why we're not judging toppings. I will give it
- 9:00Speaker 1: a like a she didn't make that noise. But oh,
- 9:04Speaker 1: there's the ranch dip. I saw the ranch dip. Now
- 9:07Speaker 1: what is our first impressions? Noticeably different from the thin
- 9:11Speaker 1: to this. It looks a little bit different, looks a
- 9:14Speaker 1: lot thicker, It looks a lot different.
- 9:18Speaker 4: This has cooked a little too much for my liking.
- 9:19Speaker 4: But I'm not going to include that in the rating
- 9:21Speaker 4: because that's your user.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Err WHOA, Okay, I'll like it. Sorry for chewing in there.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Oh I would have been light. If anybody ready, Meg's ready.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I did crust as a six. Cheese is a five,
- 9:40Speaker 2: sauce is a six overall.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Six wow, six six six six.
- 9:44Speaker 3: This would have been really good, but the sauce was
- 9:46Speaker 3: a little spicy.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Sauce is off.
- 9:49Speaker 3: So I did cheese, cheese five point two, crust six
- 9:54Speaker 3: point two. I liked the fluffy crust sauce two point three,
- 9:59Speaker 3: so that brings it to six point four.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I said cheese five point six, sauce three point five,
- 10:05Speaker 4: crust two point five, overall four point five with ranch
- 10:09Speaker 4: five point.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Three, slightly elevated with it. Okay, I'm gonna go cheese.
- 10:18Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 10:18Speaker 1: This cheese didn't cook well, didn't overly love it. I'm
- 10:23Speaker 1: gonna go three point one on the cheese. I did
- 10:27Speaker 1: not like this sauce at all. I'm gonna say two
- 10:29Speaker 1: point eight. What else am I ranking? The sun crust, crust, decent, crunch,
- 10:36Speaker 1: not terrible. I'm gonna say four point six. This pizza
- 10:39Speaker 1: for me is about a four point four overall. I
- 10:42Speaker 1: like the first one better. I don't know if I
- 10:44Speaker 1: scored it that way you did, okay? Cool?
- 10:47Speaker 3: All right, this one got worse because the crust was burnt.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Okay for the second thing, you don't have any cheese.
- 10:55Speaker 5: It's okay, so just skip up.
- 10:57Speaker 4: I feel like that shouldn't be taking point because that's
- 11:00Speaker 4: a user air avery.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Sauce to crushed one point two cheese. I didn't have
- 11:06Speaker 6: been rating in an overall one. Wow.
- 11:10Speaker 1: This is not a pizza for isla Wow. All right,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna freshen my palette. Will you guys are doing
- 11:18Speaker 1: that from here on out. We are all cheese. We're
- 11:21Speaker 1: getting cheesy with it. Hit us with the cheeses song, isla.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Mm geez cheese.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Jeez, you having some gechease pizza era.
- 11:35Speaker 1: All right, I liked it. Okay, we are on to
- 11:39Speaker 1: pizza D. Hopefully it doesn't get a D in rating.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Get it? D's not good? Like in school? Would you
- 11:49Speaker 5: rather have a's, B, c's, d's, e's.
- 11:52Speaker 1: F's How come there's no E? How come it's a B, C,
- 11:56Speaker 1: D F? Why'd they skip E? That's a Ask your
- 12:02Speaker 1: teachers next time.
- 12:04Speaker 5: You know this cheese is good? Do you know why
- 12:06Speaker 5: they skipped E? Like you could get an A. You
- 12:09Speaker 5: can get a B, you can get a C, you
- 12:11Speaker 5: can get a D, and you can get an FM
- 12:12Speaker 5: school you can't get an E. I don't like it.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Why wouldn't Z be bad? Like you just got a Z.
- 12:21Speaker 7: It's the worst for fail?
- 12:23Speaker 5: Yeah? What's D for dumbass? C for crap?
- 12:31Speaker 6: It's not funny.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Somebody's laughing listening. Love's not she's mean mugging me. Alright,
- 12:37Speaker 5: I'm getting in this pizza. Well I'm getting into it.
- 12:39Speaker 5: You guys talk about it? Do we like it? Vers
- 12:41Speaker 5: this ranking for you guys?
- 12:41Speaker 4: Even the cheese is really good.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it does look like a better cheese, nice little
- 12:48Speaker 5: sly little za, a little slice crust. I like the
- 12:53Speaker 5: this crust, the way it's cooked personally air raided. What
- 12:57Speaker 5: are you guys laughing? Exactly?
- 13:00Speaker 4: Didn't my eventsl in branch?
- 13:03Speaker 7: Oh?
- 13:03Speaker 5: Interesting?
- 13:06Speaker 3: And then tried to erase with it.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Hmm, okay, all right, is anybody confident in their rating yet?
- 13:15Speaker 4: Not?
- 13:16Speaker 6: Really?
- 13:18Speaker 5: What was ready?
- 13:25Speaker 4: Cheese? I gave it an eight point six. Sauce, I
- 13:27Speaker 4: gave it not there.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Crust.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I gave it a five point five. Ranch was wait,
- 13:35Speaker 4: overall was a six point nine. Ranch was a seven
- 13:38Speaker 4: point six.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Wow, ranch elevated that much for you?
- 13:42Speaker 4: Everything?
- 13:43Speaker 3: Heay, mine cheese six point four, crust seven point two,
- 13:49Speaker 3: sauce six point two because I don't like a lot
- 13:51Speaker 3: of sauce. So overall it was a seven point five.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Okay, I had crust was a seven. Cheese was an
- 14:02Speaker 2: eight point five. Sauce I had as a three. But
- 14:05Speaker 2: then as I took a couple more bites change to
- 14:08Speaker 2: a five, I got a little bit more of the
- 14:10Speaker 2: flavor and my overall I think is a seven.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I don't know what sauce you're talking about, because there
- 14:16Speaker 4: is none.
- 14:17Speaker 1: My sauce was like a little more towards the back
- 14:19Speaker 1: of it. But you do have to keep in mind
- 14:21Speaker 1: each of these is a half a pizza cut into
- 14:24Speaker 1: like very small slices. Just because we're doing a lot
- 14:26Speaker 1: of we're eating six different slices. So all right, for me,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna go cheese six point eight. I'm gonna go crust.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Let's go six point four.
- 14:42Speaker 5: What else are we ranking it on?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Sauce sauce five point four overall six point two?
- 14:52Speaker 6: Still all right, sauce three, crust two, cheese four overall
- 15:00Speaker 6: point point two.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Guys, this was c.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Oh, we did see.
- 15:07Speaker 4: My bad.
- 15:07Speaker 7: Everybody change. We'll do d now.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So far obviously not doing an actual calculation, not doing
- 15:18Speaker 1: some actual uh pizza math.
- 15:21Speaker 5: That seems to be the leader.
- 15:24Speaker 3: It is in our two writings.
- 15:27Speaker 5: It is poor chore. This is this one is now
- 15:31Speaker 5: the deep.
- 15:32Speaker 1: We couldnot complain about sauce out the gate here because
- 15:36Speaker 1: this one looks a little saucy. Decent cook before you, guys,
- 15:39Speaker 1: take a bite, if you haven't initial thoughts anything. Nobody's saying.
- 15:42Speaker 3: This looks good, very fluffy, and I like fluffy pizza.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Oh I heard o somebody enjoyed their first bite cheese. Again,
- 15:56Speaker 5: there's probably sufficient cheese. But when you're cutting very very small,
- 15:59Speaker 5: very thing and slices down the gate, that's probably what
- 16:04Speaker 5: happened here.
- 16:05Speaker 1: This is a and this is a thicker crust, obviously
- 16:08Speaker 1: much different the other ones. A lot of them are
- 16:11Speaker 1: labeled thin crust, and I feel like that's gonna happen.
- 16:14Speaker 1: When you're going under five bucks for a pizza, you're
- 16:16Speaker 1: probably gonna get mostly thin crusts.
- 16:18Speaker 5: I don't know why. Pizza Hut. Do they charge less
- 16:19Speaker 5: for a thin crust or the same because it's less dough,
- 16:22Speaker 5: less materials made.
- 16:25Speaker 7: Not really sure. This isn't my favorite.
- 16:29Speaker 4: This is one of my favorites, even though I don't
- 16:32Speaker 4: like sauce. The sauce tastes like pepperoni. Mm hmm.
- 16:36Speaker 5: The sauce taste. I can see that logic. I can
- 16:40Speaker 5: see that. I don't know if I love the sauce
- 16:43Speaker 5: on this.
- 16:44Speaker 7: I don't like the sauce.
- 16:46Speaker 5: H I don't mind it all right? Who anybody ready?
- 16:53Speaker 4: I am?
- 16:54Speaker 3: Cheese is a seven point five. Crust is an eight
- 16:58Speaker 3: point nine because it's really fluffy. Sauce is a six
- 17:02Speaker 3: point three because I thought it tastes good. There's just
- 17:04Speaker 3: a lot of it, and then the overall was in
- 17:08Speaker 3: eight point nine. I really liked it.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Wow, that is a wild score.
- 17:12Speaker 4: I said, cheese five point five, sauce eight point five,
- 17:16Speaker 4: crushed nine point two, overall seven eight point seven with
- 17:21Speaker 4: the ranch ranch nine.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Okay, are you ready?
- 17:28Speaker 4: You're wrong?
- 17:29Speaker 2: I gave the crust a six, the cheese of five,
- 17:33Speaker 2: the sauce of three, and the overall five point seven.
- 17:38Speaker 7: Not my favorite. I think I like thin crust. I'm deciding.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Say I'll go. While I was wrapping up cheese for
- 17:48Speaker 5: me was like a five point two sauce, four point
- 17:55Speaker 5: eight crust six point one overall for me is about
- 18:02Speaker 5: first number popped in my head was a five point
- 18:05Speaker 5: eat mine making.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Is sauce four point two, crust four, cheese five point six,
- 18:15Speaker 6: and an overall score it's an eight point seven.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Wow, you love that one? Huh?
- 18:19Speaker 1: I get, Holy moly, gonna be I mean that's a
- 18:24Speaker 1: little bit thicker cross it was. Now this is a
- 18:26Speaker 1: reminder too, as as low as working as the waitress
- 18:30Speaker 1: over here. Make sure you always leave a generous tip
- 18:33Speaker 1: to a good waitress. So with that being said, low,
- 18:36Speaker 1: don't breathe underwater. It's my tip for you.
- 18:41Speaker 4: I was hoping maybe like five bucks.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Keep hoping. Also, you know what, I'll give you another tip.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Don't eat yellow.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Snow hmm, unless it's flavored from snowcombe chop.
- 18:54Speaker 5: I'd still avoid yellow. I just couldn't. Although if you
- 18:58Speaker 5: are an ice cream shop and you haven't yellow snow cone,
- 19:01Speaker 5: if you don't call it dog pee, you're really missing
- 19:04Speaker 5: out on an opportunity. I feel.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Interesting, all right, So this one definitely we're back to
- 19:10Speaker 1: the thin genre. Cheese kind of looking like the rest
- 19:14Speaker 1: of them. Sauce I don't know, cook crust. I like
- 19:20Speaker 1: that has the aer ration in the dough. Looks like
- 19:23Speaker 1: a decent cook. Somebody's spilling or spitting out.
- 19:28Speaker 5: You drop some. I'm just getting some napkins.
- 19:30Speaker 4: My hands were dirty.
- 19:32Speaker 5: You are a server, Okay, I'm going in. It's not
- 19:36Speaker 5: very good, not great.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I don't like the flavor of the sauce.
- 19:41Speaker 4: I don't like the flavor of any of it.
- 19:43Speaker 5: What makes it like not a great sauce for you?
- 19:45Speaker 5: But you said, I don't know, I like it as
- 19:47Speaker 5: a compared to the last one, or just what makes
- 19:49Speaker 5: a bad pizza sauce. It just tastes weird, does taste different.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm not arguing with that. Meg's kind of looking like disgust.
- 20:05Speaker 1: This might be the first one that everybody doesn't finish.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'm not sing on the plate.
- 20:09Speaker 4: I finished it. Hm, Nope, but I still didn't like it.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the first one I think that I'm
- 20:19Speaker 1: eating and I'm just like, I'm I'm not a huge
- 20:22Speaker 1: fan of it. Again, I don't have my scores in
- 20:24Speaker 1: front of me, so it just lands where it lands.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna go first, I'll kick this off cheese. For me,
- 20:30Speaker 1: it's just not there. It's cheap, it's not great. I'm
- 20:35Speaker 1: gonna go like two point one because it's still pizza
- 20:39Speaker 1: sauce for me. Don't love it, don't love the taste,
- 20:43Speaker 1: don't love anything about it. One point nine, wildly low score.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I get it, crust, decent, crunch, It's not terrible. Three
- 20:53Speaker 1: point one overall for me, this is like a This
- 20:57Speaker 1: is like a two point eight. Okay, I know it's
- 20:59Speaker 1: cheap pizza and everything. It's not bad in a pinch,
- 21:02Speaker 1: Like if I walked in and this was and I
- 21:04Speaker 1: don't remember which ones which this could be the two
- 21:06Speaker 1: dollar pizza. This was a two dollar pizza. My scores
- 21:08Speaker 1: are a little higher. It's good for two bucks, just
- 21:11Speaker 1: not great my scores.
- 21:13Speaker 3: I thought the crust. I liked the flavor of the
- 21:16Speaker 3: cheese really much, really okay, I liked the text and
- 21:24Speaker 3: the crust, And so cheese was a seven, crust was
- 21:32Speaker 3: a six point seven, and sauce was a two point five,
- 21:37Speaker 3: which dropped it to a five point two.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Okay, I said cheese was a one, sauce was a
- 21:45Speaker 4: point five, crust was point five ranch Nope, overall two
- 21:51Speaker 4: point three ranch three wow?
- 21:56Speaker 5: M I liked the crust on now no, yeah, alright,
- 22:00Speaker 5: I was out.
- 22:01Speaker 6: Sauce zero point three, crust zero point two, jeez, zero
- 22:07Speaker 6: point five overall score nothing wow, wampam. I couldn't even
- 22:14Speaker 6: eat this. I spit it out. I couldn't even eat that.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Even our dogs would spit it out.
- 22:20Speaker 5: I know he wouldn't.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I went with crust as a three. Cheese is a three,
- 22:24Speaker 2: sauce is a two. Overall three point five. Crust is
- 22:28Speaker 2: like cardboard. I couldn't even cheese is like plastic.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Like it made straight from a total factory.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Right.
- 22:41Speaker 6: Guess what, guys, this is the new trunding needle.
- 22:46Speaker 4: My tweet actorly. Also have you heard a lout?
- 22:49Speaker 5: Noother?
- 22:49Speaker 4: A couple of seconds ago, I accidentally hit my.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Mic so good, all right? What what are we on now?
- 22:55Speaker 5: Is this be hey? This is the last one? Number six? Wow,
- 23:00Speaker 5: this is a short bage time flies. Hum, we're having fun,
- 23:02Speaker 5: all right? Yeah, no flop. This one looks better like
- 23:07Speaker 5: this looks okay. Looks can be deceiving, they say, oh
- 23:12Speaker 5: that just hit me hard. Yeah, my pizzas. See if
- 23:15Speaker 5: you guys did the same, this is better than the
- 23:19Speaker 5: last one. Mm interesting, m decent, cooked, decent. All right,
- 23:37Speaker 5: I'm gonna go cheese. Are you ready over there for
- 23:46Speaker 5: my score? I'm good, okay, cheese.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with a four point six sauce, four
- 23:56Speaker 1: point seven, crust, five point two. Overall five point five
- 24:04Speaker 1: just kind of mid, not bad, not terrible.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Okay, mine, I really liked this one, other than it
- 24:11Speaker 3: was kind of cold, but how how fine? The cheese
- 24:16Speaker 3: was six point seven, the crust was seven point three,
- 24:22Speaker 3: the sauce was seven point four and the overall was
- 24:25Speaker 3: eight point two.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Wow.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Okay, cheese, I said five, sauce six point two, crust
- 24:34Speaker 4: seven point two, overall five point seven with rains for
- 24:39Speaker 4: the six.
- 24:41Speaker 7: Okay.
- 24:42Speaker 6: I hated this one, but till the one was worse.
- 24:47Speaker 6: The sauce is a one, frust is a zero, the
- 24:54Speaker 6: cheese zero point two, and an overall zero point three.
- 24:57Speaker 6: It's better three stories three points better than the last one.
- 25:04Speaker 5: Gotcha. Nothing could be a zero though, rookie score. Moving on, I.
- 25:10Speaker 7: Gave the crust a seventh. Oh no, no, no one. Sorry.
- 25:13Speaker 2: The crust is a six point five, cheese is a five,
- 25:16Speaker 2: sauce is a six, and an overall is a six.
- 25:21Speaker 7: Haad worse? Wasn't my favorite?
- 25:25Speaker 5: Off the dog out wily? Uh?
- 25:31Speaker 1: All right, so we got to come up with a winner.
- 25:33Speaker 1: We can eliminate which one was the one that everybody
- 25:37Speaker 1: didn't like?
- 25:37Speaker 5: It be.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Sure to be h B was Clover Valley thin and
- 25:44Speaker 1: crispy cheese. So that is the Dollar General brand. I
- 25:50Speaker 1: don't exactly off the top of my head remember the
- 25:51Speaker 1: price on that. You would have thought I would have
- 25:54Speaker 1: had the receipts, but Dollar General Pizza apparently Clover Valley,
- 25:59Speaker 1: No blame.
- 26:00Speaker 5: What was? What was else was really low on the score.
- 26:03Speaker 5: That seemed to be for everybody.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Ours, well mine and yours is your next lowest is
- 26:10Speaker 3: number two? So E? I agree? It's also one.
- 26:15Speaker 7: Of my left.
- 26:16Speaker 5: So we just go D and E both not top two?
- 26:20Speaker 5: Right D?
- 26:22Speaker 4: D was my number one?
- 26:23Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:23Speaker 5: Okay? Well that okay? So E? Can we agree he's
- 26:26Speaker 5: not a top two?
- 26:27Speaker 4: Yes?
- 26:28Speaker 5: Okay? So E was Jack's.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Original thin pepperoni pizza. I believe we got that from
- 26:33Speaker 1: Dollar General as well. That one was under four. It
- 26:37Speaker 1: was either four dollars or I think it was four bucks.
- 26:40Speaker 1: The Clover Valley was three fifty I believe.
- 26:43Speaker 5: So makes sense. A three dollars and fifty on pizza
- 26:45Speaker 5: and a four dollars pizza not there? All right? So
- 26:48Speaker 5: now we got to eliminate one more? Which one are
- 26:50Speaker 5: we eliminating?
- 26:52Speaker 3: I have A, I have F. You have F as well?
- 26:57Speaker 7: I have F as my highest.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Okay, so A A seems to be one that's not
- 27:01Speaker 1: at least top two.
- 27:04Speaker 5: Can we agree on that?
- 27:05Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 27:06Speaker 3: That was my second, but that's okay?
- 27:09Speaker 5: What do we have? Well?
- 27:10Speaker 4: F was F was mine after A.
- 27:13Speaker 5: She's got it there, So what do we have left?
- 27:16Speaker 5: We have a F and C, so we have to
- 27:19Speaker 5: eliminate one. So what are we eliminating.
- 27:26Speaker 7: F F? How do that F?
- 27:30Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Sure F is gone. That is Tony's Pepperoni pizza Tony's.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Do you remember where we got Tony's pepperoni?
- 27:40Speaker 3: That one was either I think that one Wasn't that
- 27:42Speaker 3: one's family dollar?
- 27:45Speaker 5: Might one?
- 27:47Speaker 3: I think it was.
- 27:47Speaker 5: It's that boxed one.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Yeah, that was family dollars.
- 27:52Speaker 5: Okay, Tony's pizza. Family dollar just got eliminated. That's what
- 27:58Speaker 5: we think.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Anyways, review footage everybody, all right, So now we and
- 28:02Speaker 1: that was Meg's favorite. So now you guys have to
- 28:05Speaker 1: deal with a sad Meg.
- 28:07Speaker 7: Well, I had I had two that were tired for
- 28:09Speaker 7: the top.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Okay, So what do we have left? We have a
- 28:14Speaker 5: C and what D A C D? Okay, we got
- 28:18Speaker 5: to get rid of one.
- 28:20Speaker 7: A C or D mine C A I would get
- 28:26Speaker 7: rid of.
- 28:26Speaker 5: This is gonna be our third place, yours.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Be I'd say A.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yours would be C as well.
- 28:35Speaker 7: So we have a C, C A my other highest
- 28:39Speaker 7: seize my two?
- 28:40Speaker 5: What do you what do you have?
- 28:42Speaker 7: Meg? For my lowest?
- 28:44Speaker 5: I have D of the three? Yeah, D is D
- 28:48Speaker 5: even an option at this point? Yeah, A C D. Okay,
- 28:52Speaker 5: So let's go around real quick, Avery, A C or D?
- 28:54Speaker 5: What's gone C? What was mine? C? A? MEG?
- 29:01Speaker 7: I had D D.
- 29:03Speaker 5: What did I live for A? C or D? What's
- 29:07Speaker 5: their lowest?
- 29:09Speaker 6: Huh?
- 29:12Speaker 7: She had D.
- 29:14Speaker 5: So you have two for D, two for A, N
- 29:16Speaker 5: A C. Oh boy for the lowest? So do we
- 29:21Speaker 5: does that mean we agree that C C is gone?
- 29:26Speaker 5: It's gone gone? Yeah, okay, C is gone? Sorry?
- 29:30Speaker 1: That was Mantilla's original thin crust, which I believe was
- 29:34Speaker 1: save a Lot.
- 29:36Speaker 3: We didn't go to Yes, we did. We didn't go
- 29:39Speaker 3: to price shop.
- 29:39Speaker 5: I believe that is a save a lot. Okay, Mantillas
- 29:44Speaker 5: save a lot third place? Right, So we have A
- 29:48Speaker 5: and D. Which one wins? D?
- 29:52Speaker 3: Wind wins?
- 29:55Speaker 6: Is D is a fluffy crust?
- 29:57Speaker 7: Yes? They were both my lowest.
- 30:00Speaker 1: So well, this is crazy though regardless A and D
- 30:04Speaker 1: are the same brand, different styles under five bucks, they're
- 30:09Speaker 1: both Mama Kazi's. One is a four cheese, one is
- 30:12Speaker 1: the original thin cheese.
- 30:14Speaker 5: See you guys.
- 30:16Speaker 1: At the end of the day, Mama Kazi's apparently wins,
- 30:20Speaker 1: and we feel, at least as a consensus as a
- 30:24Speaker 1: whole that if you go and buy the non thin crust,
- 30:28Speaker 1: that one is the better five dollars buy, under five
- 30:31Speaker 1: dollars buy. And that's the one that came in a
- 30:33Speaker 1: box a little bit thicker crust. So I guess they
- 30:37Speaker 1: like thicker crust than thin. I'm a thin guy as well.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Waver d Lo, what was your number one? D Isla
- 30:46Speaker 5: and Meg? What were your guys overall number ones?
- 30:50Speaker 7: Your highest ones?
- 30:54Speaker 5: Meg's was what C D? Mine was d D Wow?
- 30:58Speaker 6: Right, No, sorry, sorry, I didn't put numbers.
- 31:02Speaker 7: I met my two highest ones. We're tied C and F.
- 31:09Speaker 5: Okay, so Megan did like Montese Mantia's original thin crust
- 31:14Speaker 5: and a Tony's Papparoni.
- 31:16Speaker 1: All right, I think that's it. We'll we'll end this episode.
- 31:19Speaker 1: We'll finish up some pizza. I do want to Is
- 31:22Speaker 1: there anything that you girls want to say? Was there
- 31:24Speaker 1: a different approach that you guys maybe took while you
- 31:26Speaker 1: were cooking or should we leave that off the podcast?
- 31:29Speaker 4: No? Thanks, no, thanks?
- 31:31Speaker 1: Really well, so again, you guys cooked fifty percent of
- 31:34Speaker 1: the pizzas.
- 31:35Speaker 5: What was your what was your approach?
- 31:36Speaker 1: What did we learn today when cooking frozen pizzas, you
- 31:40Speaker 1: need to take the cardboard off.
- 31:43Speaker 6: Oh my god.
- 31:43Speaker 1: They both thought they read in the directions to leave
- 31:46Speaker 1: the cardboard on while they cooked the pizzas.
- 31:48Speaker 4: So I thought for shore Grandpa used to cook it
- 31:51Speaker 4: on the cardboard.
- 31:52Speaker 5: We're gonna call him after this podcast and just.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Ask he used a pizza stone. Very different.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Yes, same calling we did Google. Can you eat pizza
- 32:03Speaker 1: after cooking it on a cardboard? They said yes, and
- 32:05Speaker 1: long as it doesn't catch on fire or release hazardous materials.
- 32:09Speaker 5: There was no fire.
- 32:11Speaker 1: We're not sure about the hazardous but that is why
- 32:13Speaker 1: it took longer for the thin crust to cook next
- 32:16Speaker 1: door than it did the thick crust. Again, this is
- 32:18Speaker 1: an educational podcast apparently, so kids, if you're at home
- 32:21Speaker 1: and your parents say, hey, throwing a frozen pizza, real quick,
- 32:24Speaker 1: take it off into the cardboard and the plastic.
- 32:27Speaker 5: And put just the pizza in the oven.
- 32:29Speaker 4: That's why me and Avery were laughing when mom said
- 32:31Speaker 4: it tasted like carswiren are dying.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys still ranked it up higher than my favorites,
- 32:38Speaker 2: but is it still tasted better?
- 32:41Speaker 1: All right, We're going to enjoy the rest of our
- 32:42Speaker 1: pizza and our long weekend girls.
- 32:44Speaker 5: I know it's a little weird.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Some families they sit around and no technology, and I
- 32:49Speaker 1: know that's Papa's rule. But we're sitting around eating dinner
- 32:53Speaker 1: with a lot of technology around here. So this is
- 32:55Speaker 1: our this is our our life. So that's what we got.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Do you have say anything else?
- 33:00Speaker 7: Nope?
- 33:00Speaker 5: No.
- 33:01Speaker 6: Make sure to be kind everybody there.
- 33:03Speaker 5: It is.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Like and subscribe, Like and subscribe.
