1 Corinthians 11:23,34 -Communion- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2024-07-28
Pastor Rick Beaudry expounds 1 Corinthians 11:23–34 on Communion, tracing Paul’s divinely revealed account of the Lord’s Supper and Jesus breaking bread and giving the cup as symbols of his broken body and shed blood. He confronts the Corinthian irreverence that produced weakness, sickness, and death, urging us to examine ourselves, repent of disobedience, and honor Christ’s dominion before approaching the table. Reflecting on betrayal, the passion, and the finished work of Christ, he calls us to unity, holy living, and an expectant hope for Jesus’ return as we partake of communion.
