  new reveals in the community. And so we got the Frankenstein's

  Creature from the Figures Bureau, which we did talk a

  little bit about with the two boys last week and Mala's got

  So the post, so they give you a time slot where they're going to

  come and collect the parcel. And the postman turned up an

  hour before that yesterday and I was still putting the stuff

  together. So I wasn't ready for him.

  So I was like, I'm sorry, dude, you know, not ready, can't do

  it. And he just threw a meltdown.

  Like, really, arms are in the air.

  You know well enough to come back tomorrow.

  Then I was like, I paid for today.

  No. And there was he just got

  stroppy as you, like, it was hilarious.

  He stormed off, like properly stormed off, came back to you

  hours later. He could not have apologized

  anymore. He's like, I'm really sorry.

  I was having a bad day. I'm sorry.

  I shouldn't have taken it out on you.

  Oh, my God, Yeah. He'd got, he'd got a text from

  his significant other, you know, just before he pulled up to your

  house, Maybe. Yeah, that he hadn't done

  properly or something and. He went from complete lunatic to

  nicest man on the planet. Muscle apologized 10 times.

  Yeah, I think that's a little bit like road rage.

  You know, you often see people that are road rage or even if
• 4:17
  you're sitting in a car with someone that you haven't driven
• 4:19
  with before and they're a monster behind the wheel and
• 4:21
  you're like, wow, didn't know that about you.

  But Speaking of German efficiency, that's a good one.

  So last week my router blew out. So the Internet router.
• 4:40
  So if you caught, I think the start of last week's episode,
• 4:42
  the bit we recorded, I had to do it on through the phone
• 4:46
  Internet. So it was a little bit laggy on
• 4:48
  my side. The audio was fine, but the
• 4:49
  video was a little bit laggy when we were recording.
• 4:54
  And I, I bought a new router and, and fixed that all up.
• 4:57
  It was, you know, it was just completely dead.
• 4:59
  But at the same time that that happened, the lights, which in
• 5:03
  the office where is my wife's office where the router is, the
• 5:07
  lights wouldn't come on and I changed all the bulbs, nothing
• 5:09
  would work. So I'd called this electricians
• 5:12
  firm to come out, you know, and they were coming out today in
• 5:15
  the afternoon. So I was home waiting for them.
• 5:18
  So they came and they took a look at it and they took out the
• 5:21
  light switch and they, and they took all, you know, the light
• 5:25
  shitting out and they were testing it with the electrical
• 5:28
  says this is no power going to this thing.
• 5:30
  You know, they went down to the box, everything was in order
• 5:32
  down at the, you know, the electrical switch box.
• 5:34
  And they were like, and they were like, is there any other
• 5:36
  switches in the room? You know, And so we found like
• 5:39
  one light switch that just was for something else in the past
• 5:42
  that, you know, it's, it's a house from the 70s.
• 5:44
  So sometimes there's a like, and that room is one of the rooms we
• 5:48
  haven't had renovated since we moved in like 15 years ago.
• 5:53
  And sometimes there is a switch that just does nothing that
• 5:57
  obviously did something in the past, you know, so we found a
• 6:00
  couple of those and no joy, no joy.
• 6:02
  And he was like, oh, I'm going to have to go and RIP out the
• 6:05
  corner of the wall where there's a kind of a box there, you know,
• 6:07
  that I can see if there's something wrong there.
• 6:09
  And I was like, OK, you know, I can, you know, paint it and, you
• 6:13
  know, fix it up. And he goes, Are you sure there
• 6:15
  isn't another Switch? And then I said, you know what,
• 6:18
  my wife told me that this used to be a bedroom.
• 6:20
  So maybe there is something behind these shelves, you know.
• 6:23
  So pulled out his bookshelves and behind the bookshelves there
• 6:28
  was a switch. And it's where she had a lot of
• 6:32
  her like school folders or whatever.
• 6:34
  And the switch was somehow she had put a show a folder back in
• 6:40
  there and it had made the switch go like not on and not off, just
• 6:45
  half. And that caught the electricity
• 6:49
  to the other switch because the switches were linked.
• 6:52
  So when 1 is on, the other one can so but by some fluke of
• 6:57
  whatever way something had been put on the shelf and you can't
• 7:00
  see the switch because there was so many books on the shelf, it
• 7:03
  came in this which happened. So the guy was about to RIP the
• 7:07
  wall down and then I was like, I flicked the switch.
• 7:10
  And then he was like, oh, it works again.
• 7:12
  Oh my God. So there you go.
• 7:16
  One hour, 15 minutes, one hour, 15 minutes for two electricians
• 7:21
  to basically fix the problem myself with their help, of
• 7:24
  course. But yeah, so that's an.
• 7:27
  Expensive folder incident that one, John.
• 7:30
  Yeah, I mean, I was kind of glad my wife wasn't here like it was.
• 7:35
  It was obviously as I didn't have a clue that's which was
• 7:38
  there. She knew it was, but like had
• 7:39
  no, you know, took no heat to it, you know.
• 7:42
  But yeah, I'm glad she wasn't there because she might have
• 7:45
  been embarrassed. I didn't care.
• 7:47
  I was just trying my best bad German, you know.
• 7:50
  And yeah. And then the other thing, this
• 7:51
  was all done in through like me, they were speaking, they were
• 7:54
  Eastern European speaking German, heavily accented.
• 7:58
  I was trying to speak a mixture of Luxembourgish, which I can
• 8:01
  speak in German, which I'm not very good at speaking anymore
• 8:04
  since school was trying to meet Nafa in the middle of there, you
• 8:09
  know. So we got there, we got there.

  So all good, all good. Just cost, probably, probably
• 8:16
  the price of a couple of Mythic legions there for, for
• 8:18
  absolutely nothing. But it was important to get it
• 8:21
  fixed absolutely. Yeah.

  Like every time she went. Into the needed more doing.

  Yeah, true. And every time she went into the
• 8:30
  office this week, she, you know, let out a big swear word every
• 8:33
  time she touched the switch because she realized the Switch
• 8:36
  didn't work to walk across the room to switch on the desk lamp.

  So yeah, all fun and games. There's nothing worse than, I
• 8:45
  think, than getting a contractor in.

  Now obviously I don't know about them.
• 8:48
  In the UK they charge by the hour.

  Yeah, it was. And you get them in and they're
• 8:52
  done in like 15 minutes. You're like, I'm gonna pay for
• 8:53
  an hour. Oh my God damn it.

  Oh yeah, yeah. And they charge you from, I
• 8:58
  mean, it's I've never been, it's never been out in dodgy here,

  but they charge you as well from the time that they leave the
• 9:04
  previous job. So they charge, they charge you

  the the travels. On your job then.

  Yeah, within limit. I mean, you know, they're from

  the, they're from a village, like a town 15 minutes away.

  So the Max they could charge is 15 minutes.

  So they'll always charge you the 15 minute travel time even if

  they're in the same village, unless like they're really

  obviously in the same town, you know?

  It's just how they make the money, you know?

  But in a way these days it's just good to be able to get to

  get an electrician to come out because I don't know how about

  theirs? I mean, if I, if I could speak

  just just one more language, I could definitely do a bit of a

  handyman stuff. And that would be a nice little

  learner, I think. Because people, you know, they

  have to call a company to get people to come out.

  You know, when I was kid, it was just called the local handyman

  and he came around and he could fix your boiler, he could fix

  your tap, he could fix your electricity.

  You know there isn't those people anymore, you know?

  It totally is. And so yeah, that's my, that's

  my tale of woe for this week and hopefully there won't be any

  more of that. You know, the router was what,

  £250? That's probably another couple,

  £100 just for nothing, you know, and having to put up with the

  kids. They weren't too bad, but they

  were just There was no Internet obviously enough.

  They got caught up in their homework pretty quick at.

  Least they were just moaning might might need to be

  threatened me with knives and all sorts of you had to go that

  the. Internet, I did another thing

  this morning actually, yeah, my youngest so he, he gets up
• 10:44
  early, but I have the iPads on like a screen time thing that
• 10:48
  doesn't work before 7 and they need to leave for school for
• 10:50
  half seven. So if they get up in 30 in the
• 10:52
  morning and they're ready, they could watch a bit before heading
• 10:56
  out the door with their breakfast or whatever.
• 10:58
  And but I never do it for your sister because she's never up in
• 11:02
  time. There's no point in me putting
• 11:03
  this limit on. And she because she got up so
• 11:06
  late the previous morning and I got like mad with her that then
• 11:10
  she got up really early this morning and got ready and she's
• 11:13
  sitting there and her iPad's working and his isn't.

  He said I was still in bed and he sent me a message, you know,
• 11:21
  from from his iPad to my phone. This isn't fair and he was
• 11:30
  obviously doing voice to text because he's lazy and and it
• 11:36
  messed it up and it started to go and then he said sorry the
• 11:40
  iPad pooped my message and then he said my wife to see.
• 11:48
  She laughed for about 10 minutes.
• 11:50
  And I just came down and I looked at him and said, don't be
• 11:53
  sending me messages like that, OK?
• 11:57
  Because at that stage, the iPad was working.
• 11:59
  It's important to have limits, you know, And he eventually does
• 12:05
  get, you know, his own device. He'll appreciate it, you know.
• 12:10
  You've got a level to correct and that sort of stuff.

  You know, I sent Carrie a message, a text message once.
• 12:15
  And what I meant to type was I just jumped on a bus and what I

  actually sent was I just jumped on a husband because I typed US

  instead and it autocorrected and filled it in.

  What the hell? What about the guy I just

  replied to in the European Mythic Allegiance Group?

  Now all the one that thinks you live in Inverness or somewhere

  now. Yeah, he said, you know, let me

  let us know where you're from. And I said, oh, I'm Irish.

  I live in Scotland. It autocorrected Luxembourg too.

  some other guy was commenting, Oh, we should start Scottish.

  You know, I just went, I didn't say anything else.

  this was revealed a couple of weeks ago now.

  So if we're talking about stuff as if it's now and you've feel

  like it's a bit in the past, that's why Frankenstein's

  creature Rich, when you saw this first, you were you were not too

  excited, which I was extremely surprised by.

  Yeah, you and Male flabbergasted, weren't you?

  But I just, it just didn't do anything for me.

  Wow. And like, I was just thinking,

  wow, if I could design A figure for Rich, it would be like this.

  He thinks, I think it was. I think it was a flash color as

  much as anything. Just the yellow.

  later on in the evening because I came around to it nicely and

  now I know exactly what I want to do with it and I think it's

  It's not staying as Frankenstein or.

  It's not, no. I'm going to use it as like a

  one of the alternate heads without the hair, the one with

  the slightly open mouth. And I'm going to use it as like

  a big like Egyptian zombie sort of thing.

  So I quite like the colouring for that sort of look to it.

  And that's going to be part of my Egyptian themed faction.

  And I can use the table. I can use the table and bits
• 14:45
  bobs for all sorts of other stuff then as well.

  Well, I was extremely impressed. And then obviously when I saw

  the reviews and saw the new parts, even more so Mal, I think

  we've mentioned last week, also impressed.

  I thought it looked fantastic when we when it was revealed.

  I'm another one of those people who's really happy that they

  went more the literary and I think it was kind of expected

  realistically, but it's still good to see they went the

  literary route with the way he looks.

  And yeah, he's fantastic looking and the the accessories and all

  that in the photos that Trevor took in the review from Bill at

  Frankenstein, the the gothic horror equivalent of that, isn't

  Look at all that stuff there is amazing.

  We're showing on screen the kind of photo that you see in their

  promo that shows everything you get with the figure, which is

  always my favorite photo of these new reveals.

  And it's incredible. And I like here that it's not

  just the accessories, you actually shows you the figure as

  well. So yeah.

  No, it's a great setup. It's like I'm going to show mine

  with the I said that the scarred head with his slightly open

  mouth and naked apart from his nappy, and that's the look.

  skeleton Pirates, like brilliant, I can use the coat

  now. Somebody else I think on the UK

  group put the hackon head on a skeleton deluxe Legion builder

  and the colours virtually match like brilliant.

  So all these bits that, you know, you could do something

  with the figure and then as Miles said, it's a playset, so

  you can just do all sorts of stuff with all the other things.

  It's brilliant. Yeah, the definitely the.

  So you're going to be like this guy basically.

  It's looking careful and the yeah, the coat is is incredible.

  coat before legions gone anyway. So I'm going to take a chance on

  buying one for parts. But otherwise, yeah, I'll just

  You can't use all the stuff with the figure, which is really

  amazing value. Well it's to the point I'm torn

  because and I could have supposed with what I'm planning

  Minty fresh in box because I like because the box is so good

  and I tend to throw them away. I want to get one, you know, as

  I say, I keep sort of looking as it as it was when you picked it

  up. But then I got another one

  because I wanted to use the boots, the trousers and the coat

  on a Cosmic custom I've got planned.

  But yeah, that that does mean I could actually display another

  one in the sort of way that Rich has talked about on the table,

  because I'm a bit torn because I really, really like the the look

  of him with the long dark hair. And, you know, and that's a one

  team displayed like that. But then seeing Trevor's photos

  and some people who've already got them showing in their photos

  of him strapped onto the table, it just looks so cool when it

  would look so cool with all the other figure obscures in the
• 19:30
  background. Yeah, yeah, there's so many

  options. Yeah.

  Or you could just switch it up, you know, every every couple of

  weeks switching up. And what what absolutely

  fascinates me and I don't need to know the answer, but like how

  they were able to put so much tooling into this.

  We might get the answer in the future, obviously when they do

  some reuse with this stuff. But I mean, is it?

  Is it? Is it just at the stage now

  where they're able to do that much new tooling for a figure

  the things he likes about the figure Obscurer is it gives him

  an opportunity to sculpt the new pieces and add to the parts

  library to be used elsewhere. Yeah, So it sounds like he's

  possibly all in on sculpting new bits for this line.

  Yeah, it's amazing. I mean, obviously where it works

  first, but I could see this coming into use, especially in

  Cosmic, you know, but even in Mythic, if they go down, you

  know, obviously you got Necronominus, the faction.

  There are boxes, you know, either would fit this type of
• 20:59
  character, and what we're hoping for is new factions as well.

  to this figure in particular as to where this might fit into a

  There's I think it's a prop Masters set head and the torso

  and that would go absolutely perfectly with this.

  priming stuff in white because that's probably quicker, even

  though I don't like often priming in white unless the

  specific reason because it's hard sometimes then with the

  shadows and with the kind of but it also makes it easier for
• 22:46
  certain types of paint jobs. So just print a bunch of stuff
• 22:49
