- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning, Good morning. It is time for us to
- 0:02Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I ask
- 0:05Speaker 1: that you join along with me in prayer. You know,
- 0:09Speaker 1: I just pray that our hearts will be sensitive to
- 0:12Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit, and the things that break God's heart
- 0:16Speaker 1: will break our hearts. I'm baffled oftentimes by news stories
- 0:21Speaker 1: that make headline news, and then we're all heartbroken. We're
- 0:24Speaker 1: all upset about it the day of and then when
- 0:27Speaker 1: the next news story comes or the next day, sometimes
- 0:30Speaker 1: we move on. How do we become so desensitized to
- 0:34Speaker 1: evil and violence and the horrible things, the things that
- 0:38Speaker 1: break God's heart? How did we get here where we
- 0:41Speaker 1: are not heartbroken by the things that breaks God's heart?
- 0:45Speaker 1: How do we become so desensitized to sin and to evil,
- 0:50Speaker 1: to hate? Father, God, in the name of Jesus Christ,
- 0:53Speaker 1: we come to you today. God. We want to be men.
- 0:56Speaker 1: We want to be women after your own heart. We
- 0:59Speaker 1: want to have heart that are peared perfect toward You. God.
- 1:02Speaker 1: We're crying out to You for grace, for mercy. God,
- 1:06Speaker 1: forgive us God for being so callous when it comes
- 1:10Speaker 1: to the things of the world and the things that
- 1:12Speaker 1: break your heart. Father. We want to be more and
- 1:15Speaker 1: more like You, transform us God, into your likeness and
- 1:18Speaker 1: your image. Daily, God, we come to you repenting of
- 1:23Speaker 1: our sins. You said that if your people, that's us
- 1:28Speaker 1: who are called by your name, that's the Christians. You said, God,
- 1:32Speaker 1: if we humble ourselves and pray and seek your faith
- 1:35Speaker 1: and turn from our wicked ways, then we will hear
- 1:39Speaker 1: from heaven. You'll forgive our sins, and you'll heal our land.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We pray for healing in our Open our eyes, God,
- 1:47Speaker 1: so that we'll see things the way that you see them.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Give us wisdom, Give us discernment. God, give us compassion. Father,
- 1:55Speaker 1: as we continue to pray for not only those children
- 1:58Speaker 1: and families that experience the tragedy in Georgia, but every
- 2:03Speaker 1: day in our neighborhoods, in our communities, in our cities,
- 2:07Speaker 1: that are experiencing tragedy, the loss of a loved one,
- 2:11Speaker 1: a child dying senselessly, losing a child, losing a loved one.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Help us God not to be desensitized because of what
- 2:20Speaker 1: we're exposed to. Daily, God, we pray for mercy. We
- 2:23Speaker 1: pray for peace in our land, peace in our home. God,
- 2:28Speaker 1: we pray and please the blood of Jesus Christ, over us,
- 2:31Speaker 1: over our family. Cover us. God, send your ministering and
- 2:34Speaker 1: protective angels to guard us all around us, unless we
- 2:38Speaker 1: even dash our foot against a stone. God will be
- 2:40Speaker 1: careful to give you the glory. We'll give you all
- 2:43Speaker 1: the honor in Jesus name. Amen,
