- 2:40the Hill. And here's the King of the Hill.
- 2:44This, Bobby, is the Beltline. You never ever hit below that.
- 2:48Not that kind of King of the Hill, you dumb.
- 2:50Are you ready? This is King of the Hill.
- 2:54All right. Welcome to King of the Hill.
- 3:01You come at the king. Tic Tac.
- 3:02Toe not miss. So this is a new type of game.
- 3:07It's going to be everybody in the first round, as many people
- 3:11as we have. We only have 3.
- 3:12Romance. Competitors today, but it's the
- 3:15peasant round. The peasants are going to fight
- 3:16it out until there are two folded.
- 3:18Out of my ass. Who are going to then joust it
- 3:21out in Round 2 for the chance to take on the king and.
- 3:27As long as she's using dude wipes and taking care of my 2
- 3:29hole I'm good. Can't tell from the pictures.
- 3:33Errol Marx is our current king, but.
- 3:35I look fat. Whoever.
- 3:36Wins. What's going on over there?
- 3:39Well, there's a lot. There's a hill in there.
- 3:40There's a picture of Long Island in there, a couple of Omar from
- 3:43The Wire and you are superimposed over The Notorious
- 3:46B.I.G. There we go.
- 3:47So a lot going on in this graphic, but take on the King is
- 3:52the final round. So I'm going to reveal the first
- 3:55round topic for us. So Java, myself and Speedy, we
- 3:59are going to see who can do the most of these.
- 4:02An arrow. You judge who gets eliminated
- 4:05and moves on. Let's go.
- 4:06All right, so here we go. Round one, peasant fight
- 4:11reasons. Chador fell to the fifth round.
- 4:14You got a rapid fire. Give a reason.
- 4:16Next person gives a reason. Just keep keep going down the
- 4:19line. Start it with Speedy.
- 4:22Yep. I think the main one is the way
- 4:24he handled himself, just being unprepared for everything.
- 4:27He was saying, oh, I'm going to skip the combine to be more
- 4:30prepared for these interviews, these film sessions.
- 4:33And he was unprepared for everything.
- 4:34We talked about the table thing last week, but there were other
- 4:36coaches that he probably pissed off.
- 4:39Jabba. I'm going to go that he's not
- 4:42that good. He didn't play in the SEC.
- 4:44His talent in the Big 12 wasn't as good as it was.
- 4:47And they saw his deficiency in his footwork and, you know, his
- 4:51passing ability. And I think they finally
- 4:53realized he's not as good as he was just because he won all the
- 4:56accolades and he had his number retired.
- 4:59When you have is a bigger entourage, then you have an arm,
- 5:03that's a problem as a quarterback heading into the NFL
- 5:06and we saw it on Radio row walking around with the biggest
- 5:09entourage of anybody as if he ever did anything at any level
- 5:14other than the FCS at Jackson State.
- 5:17Back to Speedy. Yeah, I was going to mention
- 5:19that Java was mentioning with the stats as well, like you stat
- 5:22padding even certain games in the Big 12 and even out of
- 5:26conference as well where they didn't have the big on
- 5:28conference schedule until this year.
- 5:29And there's a reason they only had the one rank to win.
- 5:32And sometimes stat padding and stats in college football
- 5:35compared to actual NFL talent will show a big difference
- 5:38there. And then all of a sudden you're
- 5:39just not only starting the two years and the one year at
- 5:41Jackson State doesn't help your 'cause either.
- 5:44Java. Yeah.
- 5:45And when you talk about attitude and you talk about not being
- 5:48prepared, but like we've talked about before, going to a job
- 5:51interview with the sideways hat and then saying, you know who my
- 5:54dad is, like, no, you're your own person, shut up.
- 5:57Douche, you know. Get over yourself.
- 6:01When you're a coach and you are trying to test some of these
- 6:04guys like Brian Dabol famously does with his quarterbacks, it's
- 6:07a system that him and Joe Shane have perfected ever since Josh
- 6:11Allen. Say what you will about that,
- 6:12but he does test them. And then should door flunk that
- 6:15test and talk back to the coach and said that no, I did install
- 6:20it, right? You just didn't teach it to me,
- 6:22right? You don't have to be very smart
- 6:25to see why the Giants had no interest in Shador and the
- 6:28reports are they were on Jackson Dart as early as January.
- 6:32Speedy last one. Yeah, I was going to mention the
- 6:34film study we talked about it with like Kyla Murray bashing
- 6:36him for years ago with the with the film study.
- 6:39Oh, he's not. He's playing video games.
- 6:40He's not watching film. Shador is not only just
- 6:42distracting himself with that, he's also distracting himself
- 6:44with his brands, distracting himself with his father, all the
- 6:47stuff that he's saying with that.
- 6:48And I think so many teams are going to get deterred by
- 6:51somebody like Deion Sanders just having an inflation light shown
- 6:55on the team. When you have a 53 man roster,
- 6:57it's not just in basketball. You can get away with it like we
- 7:00talk about all the time, like stars run the NBA.
- 7:02In football, it's still more of a team game and more of a scheme
- 7:05game. Yeah, I think, I think too with
- 7:08with the way that, you know, you handle stuff in the viral video
- 7:11that came out with Cam Ward, that says a lot about who he is
- 7:14as a character. And I think it's when we had the
- 7:17pale on. And when it comes down to it,
- 7:19it's like, OK, athletic ability, but character, do I want to deal
- 7:22with that? You took the number one overall
- 7:24pick. They worked out together.
- 7:26And you get in his face and he said all he wants to do is focus
- 7:29on football. And he was talking about you
- 7:31want to come on my YouTube channel and all this other stuff
- 7:34and Kim Ward's like, no, I want to play football.
- 7:36He's so focused on doing other shit than doing his job.
- 7:39You were barely A500 quarterback and a non FCS.
- 7:44So grow up and do what you're supposed to do.
- 7:46And that's why you fell in the fifth round.
- 7:48And I'll finish it off. Jabba took out my my 13 and 12
- 7:51record, barely 500 in his career at Colorado, was AFCS
- 7:56quarterback. But if you have to go to the FCS
- 7:58first, the odds are you're not a very talented athlete.
- 8:01And we know that his measurables aren't there.
- 8:04But there was one thing I wanted to mention. 30% of his snaps in
- 8:10college were in a huddle. In the NFL, that's closer to
- 8:1485%. And in the huddle, you have to
- 8:17have a very long and elaborate call and you have to lead men
- 8:20and communicate. What man is going to follow this
- 8:23guy who comes in with his headphones around his neck into
- 8:26an interview, tell us the coach doesn't know he's talking about,
- 8:28even though he was 13 and 12 in college, never won nothing.
- 8:33That's it, guys. That's round one, Errol.
- 8:36You get to decide, for whatever reason you want, who the 2
- 8:40members will move on to Round 2. I was impressed with Java.
- 8:44I really was. It was, I actually thought that
- 8:46he made some good points on the 1st 2 rounds and he kind of
- 8:50finished it up in the third round on his arguments with, you
- 8:54know, obviously bringing up the Cam Ward situation.
- 8:56So I've got Java moving forward and, and speedy I, I do like
- 9:01fish. I love everything that you said.
- 9:03And obviously your thoughts with the percentages at the end of
- 9:07the game and you know, obviously in the huddle, 30% outside of
- 9:10the huddle, you know, he doesn't, he runs, you know,
- 9:13obviously he doesn't run in the huddle as much.
- 9:15So I, I like what you were saying, but speedy, you know,
- 9:17obviously with his, his, his thoughts from each and every
- 9:21round, I thought he made a little bit more, you know, of an
- 9:24argument. So I'll, I'll go with Speedy and
- 9:26Jabba moving on. All right, I will have to stay
- 9:29in the peasants barn as we move on to Round 2.
- 9:33The joust. Yes, our finalists will now
- 9:37joust it out over the best value picks in the NFL draft.
- 9:43Same set up guys, same thing. Take take a second to gather
- 9:48your thoughts. We'll start with Speedy once
- 9:50again, back and forth. All right, I'm going to go.
- 9:54We'll go one player at a time. Or just name a bunch of them
- 9:56that you liked. You just take your turn and then
- 9:58job will go and you know, so we'll go.
- 10:00Yeah, a lot of a lot of the ones I like where the ones with edge
- 10:03rushers in particular, I think the Ravens getting my green in
- 10:06the second round definitely has to be one of the biggest steals
- 10:09in the draft so far. And I do like what the I do
- 10:13like. I do like what the Texans did in
- 10:15the second round, the two receivers pairing them together
- 10:17as well. Jaden Higgins Fish, we were
- 10:18talking about as a first round grade possibly.
- 10:20And he goes to them in in the late 2nd.
- 10:22Then he get his teammate to go along with it.
- 10:24Jalen Noel. I think the combination of that
- 10:26was just very good overall. And then the Eagles with Jihad
- 10:29Campbell, I think he can't go wrong with that off ball
- 10:31linebacker that's super versatile.
- 10:33It's a perfect thing for what they need to go along with Zach
- 10:36Bond and Kobe Dean. And they can be more versatile,
- 10:39even putting Dean at safety at certain points as well.
- 10:41So I like the Eagles pack as well as much as a pain for me as
- 10:43a giant. All right, so Speedy basically
- 10:46gave us 3 Jabba, same deal. Give us three of your value
- 10:51picks. I mean, I'm going to go first
- 10:53from Nebraska. I got some insider information
- 10:55from from Eagles camp and you know, everybody's excited about
- 10:59Ty in the fourth round. Just, you know, with his
- 11:01mobility with with the style that he plays and and what he
- 11:05comes from. I I think you took the the
- 11:08receivers from me. Speedy, you Dick.
- 11:12But I, I, I think there's more than one.
- 11:14I, I think honestly, too, we talked about another Nebraska
- 11:18kid late in the seventh round where he's going to block, he's
- 11:22going to do, he doesn't need to do a lot of things.
- 11:24I know Speedy's going to beat me on this one because he's way
- 11:26more analytical on this stuff. But I think there was, there was
- 11:30a lot of things in it that that fit a bunch of people's needs
- 11:35that did what they did. But yeah, Speedy will go against
- 11:38Errol in this one. So now, continuing on, tell me
- 11:41which teams you liked that got the most value in the draft,
- 11:45Speedy. All right, yeah, I, I, I, I'm
- 11:47going to stay on the on the text industry.
- 11:48And I think that was for not having a first round pick
- 11:50trading back with the Giants because they were the team that
- 11:52did it with Dart. I think they did very well.
- 11:55I like the one that Travis May was mentioning with the Panthers
- 11:57really addressing the edge rusher in the second and third
- 12:00round, just beefing up that defense after getting Ted
- 12:02McMillan, who I'm a big fan of in the first round.
- 12:05I think that was really good value that I think that should
- 12:08not be taken lightly. I like what the Bears did too,
- 12:11getting Luther Bird in the second round to go along.
- 12:13I know Loveland, the pick of them was kind of questionable,
- 12:15but even some of the offensive lineman they drafted later in
- 12:18the draft, ones where I was seeing as day 2 picks and turned
- 12:21out to be day three picks as well.
- 12:23And I I like what they did to really address what Ben Johnson
- 12:26is going to implement to this team.
- 12:28Even though Loveland over Warren pick is questionable, I think
- 12:31he's probably more of the route running type than they needed
- 12:33where COMEC could be the blocker.
- 12:35All right, Jabba. Yeah, I mean, as bad as it is to
- 12:39say I, I, I actually like the Browns draft and they kind of as
- 12:46bad as they have been, I think they they did a really good job
- 12:50of attacking the needs that they needed.
- 12:54Eagles, not obviously not an Eagles fan, but they continue to
- 12:59do what they do and get the right guys and fall into
- 13:02position and how it goes. And the other one I actually
- 13:05really like too. And I hate to say it because we
- 13:08have so many Chief homers around here, but I think the Chiefs did
- 13:12an absolute great job of just filling pieces of of what they
- 13:16needed with with the picks that they had.
- 13:19All right, and finally for this round, guys, give me your
- 13:23favorite late round sleeper pick that went in this draft and why
- 13:30a. Favorite of anybody?
- 13:34That is a good question. I like Cleveland, another
- 13:38running back that was taken. I think one of our draft
- 13:40panelists was mentioning him. I'm a big fan of Dylan Sampson.
- 13:43I think that's a kid that I think he had a little bit of a
- 13:45fumbling issues, but I think he has a good move set.
- 13:48So I think the Browns getting him as late as they did, I
- 13:50believe it was like the mid to late fourth round where they got
- 13:52him where I was thinking he was kind of like a third round
- 13:54grade. He's one that I think is very
- 13:57close skill wise and maybe not as powerful, but the rest of the
- 14:01traits with Nick Chubb, to be able to fit that scheme and
- 14:03essentially replace him in that scheme with that offensive line
- 14:06to go along with it, it'll allow them to be able to take pressure
- 14:09off their quarterbacks. They draft the Judkins 2 in the
- 14:12second round, which I do like as well, but I think that was
- 14:15probably a little bit more of a reach of where they were going
- 14:17at. But Samson in the fourth round,
- 14:18get those two combo players made-up for it very nicely.
- 14:23I'm going to go on the defensive side, the Falcons getting Xavier
- 14:26Watts from Notre Dame in the third round.
- 14:29They, you know, they've only had 20 interceptions over the last
- 14:33and yeah, who was it that he had like 10 of them?
- 14:35I think he had half of them. And you just get a yeah and you
- 14:40get a kid that's from Omaha, NE. But.
- 14:45Attacks. The ball, yeah, attacks the
- 14:47ball. Winning team knows how to win.
- 14:49Winning culture, I think him going in the third round late to
- 14:53the Falcons is a great fit to come in and step up right away.
- 14:56I really, I really, really like that fit.
- 14:58Yeah, obviously rooting for that guy, but watching him play and,
- 15:01and to see how, you know, he tacks the ball and and does what
- 15:05he he cut his, he cut his dreads and they showed him.
- 15:07I had to look twice because I'm just so used to seeing him like
- 15:09that. But yeah, it's I, I think that's
- 15:11a really good pick in the in the late third round.
- 15:14Enjoy. OK Errol, your time to decide
- 15:17who is the finalist that gets to challenge the king.
- 15:21I'm going to go with Speedy. I'd rather go one-on-one with
- 15:24his analytic stupidity. So let's go.
- 15:29OK, that means we are moving on to round 3 where you take on the
- 15:36king in this game. Here it is and the topic best
- 15:41fantasy rookies not named Ashton Gente.
- 15:45That's the same question that we posed our panelists at the end
- 15:50and it's going to work the same way we had it.
- 15:53Errol, Speedy, speedy start. Give us your first and why and
- 15:56it's just going to go back and forth.
- 15:58Jabba, me and you are going to be judges.
- 16:00Nathan seems to be sitting in the backstage.
- 16:02Why don't we get Nathan on in here?
- 16:04He'll be the third judge to break it possible.
- 16:06Now, defense or offense or both defense or offense?
- 16:10You can mention either. If you want to do defense, you
- 16:13talk about individual position. How about we do only one defense
- 16:16in this round? All right, so offense for most
- 16:20of most part. All right, Speedy, let's put the
- 16:23camera up. All right, I'll start with this.
- 16:25New setting. I'll start with a sleeper for a
- 16:26tight end position that I did like where he landed and that is
- 16:30a gunner helm for the Titans going in the fifth round.
- 16:33The Titans team trying that had a lot of receiving talent and
- 16:36then they're going to they have pilot so they're going to run
- 16:37the ball. Chica Conquos kind of been up
- 16:39and down since he had that like big year in 23 or 22.
- 16:44He's been kind of up and down, kind of injury prone.
- 16:46And Ken Ward is going to look for that other second target
- 16:48that's going to try to make it work.
- 16:50Helm was a very productive tight end at Texas, has a good route
- 16:53Tree, could stretch the field. I think you're looking at a guy
- 16:56that can make an instant impact. Tennessee is going to be behind
- 16:58in games a lot still, even with their defense being as good as
- 17:01they are. And because they're going to be
- 17:03in a lot of shootouts, I think that could bode well for a tight
- 17:06end, A tight end helping out his quarterback as a late flyer for
- 17:08fantasy. I'm not saying draft them as
- 17:10your tight or something like that, but if you want to take a
- 17:12light flyer that could be good. I think that is one that I think
- 17:15could work. OK.
- 17:18I'm going to go with Mason Graham.
- 17:20I think Mason Graham in that all that defense with obviously
- 17:23Miles Garrett, they're going to be able to put pressure up the
- 17:26middle. Mason Graham, you can shift them
- 17:28all over the all over the defensive line.
- 17:30He's going to be able to do things in open seams up for
- 17:33Miles Garrett and I think Mason Graham is going to have a lot of
- 17:36sacks this year for a rookie. I wouldn't even be surprised if
- 17:38he has 8 or 9 sacks. They also so helped out on a
- 17:42secondary, so they're going to be able to use and shift Mason
- 17:45Graham all over the defensive line.
- 17:46Like I said, he's so athletically gifted.
- 17:49He's going to be able to do things that they didn't have
- 17:52inside and you can obviously put him as a nose tackle to his size
- 17:56and his ability with the athletic ability that he has.
- 17:58I think he's going to cause a lot of problems defensively,
- 18:01offensively and defensively for the teams that they play against
- 18:06in in their division and the AFC.
- 18:08So I like Mason Graham. I, I wouldn't be surprised if
- 18:11Mason Graham wins rookie defensive player of the year.
- 18:13I think he with that defense with Miles Garrett, they're
- 18:16going to be a great tandem for many, many, many, many, many
- 18:18years to come. I love that pick.
- 18:20I love Mason Graham going to the Browns all.
- 18:23Right, Speedy, back to you, give us again, we're going to do 1
- 18:26defensive guy. So Errol just gave his defense.
- 18:28You have two offense, you got one in one left speeding.
- 18:31All right, so I'll go to my offensive guy while I try to
- 18:33figure out a defensive for I guess our all 22 league, but
- 18:36I'll go with. So it's just the pains being
- 18:38admitted of what they've done this offseason with the Cowboys
- 18:40and how bad they've been. I actually do like Jaden Blue as
- 18:42a prospect, the running back, another running back out of
- 18:44Texas that has good speed. I don't know if Rico Dowdell is
- 18:47obviously the running back that he was last year at certain
- 18:49points in the year where I think he was a fantasy running back,
- 18:5112 or certain at certain points. I don't think he's really that
- 18:54good of a like consistent town to be able to do it again.
- 18:57I think people are going to be super high on him and be
- 18:59disappointed. They drafted offensive line and
- 19:02Tyler Booker. They have some offensive lineman
- 19:04that are still developing and with DAC not being 100% healthy
- 19:08I think they could try to run the ball right away.
- 19:10And the Cowboys have had a history of running backs
- 19:11emerging when they were younger too, so I think that could be
- 19:14another good super sleeper. Again, draft him on your bench
- 19:17to start and if he emerges from Dowdell later in the season I
- 19:20think that could be an interesting 1 rookie running
- 19:22backs that tend to take a while, but I think this is a good flyer
- 19:25late in the draft. Cool.
- 19:28I love McMillan. I think he's going to fit over
- 19:32there with Carolina so very well.
- 19:34He's going to open up the seams. He's going to open up off the
- 19:37offensive side of the ball for Carolina, something that they
- 19:40haven't had what who was the last star wide receiver they had
- 19:43over there? They haven't had one.
- 19:45And now obviously with a guy, a young quarterback that is trying
- 19:48to find his way now he has a number one target that can open
- 19:51up the field offensively. He's great in the red zone.
- 19:54They're going to have a red zone target to actually throw to over
- 19:57the last couple of years, one of the worst red zone teams in all
- 20:00of the NFL. Now you have a big long body
- 20:03over there in McMillan that can absolutely cause so much havoc
- 20:07on, you know, on the in the seams in a slot.
- 20:09He can play so many, you know, opportunistic, you know,
- 20:14positions for Carolina and and the way obviously your coach and
- 20:18Cohen likes to do likes to run. We all know Mike Evans, what
- 20:21Mike Evans has done over there with the Buccaneers.
- 20:23I think McMillan, the size and the ability that Mike Evans had
- 20:27over there with the Buccaneers. You can do the same thing with
- 20:29McMillan. I think he's going to open up
- 20:31seams and opportunities for Carolina to dominate in the red
- 20:36zone. So I love McMillan as maybe a
- 20:39rookie Offensive Rookie of the Year.
- 20:42All right, one left for each speed of your defensive player.
- 20:44All right, So I'm going to go with the Steelers because I'm
- 20:46going to go with the Steelers because there's fantasy defense
- 20:48is always very good. The the third round pass rusher
- 20:51they drafted with Jack Sawyer, obviously the hero in the
- 20:53College Football Playoff game against Texas.
- 20:55But I think it's a good scheme fit.
- 20:56Alex Highsmith, not 100% last year.
- 20:58I don't know how much they're going to try to rush him back.
- 21:01Obviously TJ Watt's still there. So you have a lot of you'll have
- 21:03a lot of presents, but Highsmith's also somebody that
- 21:05rotates a lot inside and Mike Tomlin loves to do this with
- 21:08linebackers that are edge rushers, B Rovers to guard
- 21:11screen passes and stuff like that.
- 21:12So I actually could see him making an impact.
- 21:14Sawyer was a guy that played inside and outside at Ohio State
- 21:18and can cover the screens a little bit too.
- 21:20In both of those roles. You could see him make an impact
- 21:23in that Mike Tomlin defense. That's going to need a lot of
- 21:24help in that front 7, a lot of help in that run defense.
- 21:27So I think he can emerge to get more playing time than expected,
- 21:31especially if Watt, who's not very healthy either a lot and
- 21:35then high soap as well. It wasn't healthy last year get
- 21:38get hurt. They could be easing somebody
- 21:39like Sawyer into the system very well.
- 21:42And I waited the best for last because I think he's going to be
- 21:45so explosive and fun to watch this year.
- 21:48Cam Ward is going to win, and we always look at that, the
- 21:51quarterback and usually the quarterback wins Offensive
- 21:55Rookie of the year. I expect Cam Ward to have a
- 21:57sensational year. If you look at what Tennessee
- 21:59has this year offensively, Calvin Ridley actually has a
- 22:02quarterback that can throw the ball and move outside of the
- 22:05pocket. Then you have Tyler Lockett, the
- 22:07addition of Tyler Lockett with the weapons.
- 22:09They have Traylon Burks, who is a first round Talon who really
- 22:13hasn't had a chance to explode because he hasn't had a
- 22:16quarterback to throw him. Who you going to trust?
- 22:18Will Levitz? Now you have a guy that could
- 22:19throw the ball, move it outside of the pocket and do what he
- 22:22does well. Van Jefferson, we all know who
- 22:24Van Jefferson is. He's been a pretty decent wide
- 22:27receiver over the years when he played for the Rams.
- 22:29Now he's over there. You got weapons all over the
- 22:32field and you have a good running game and an offensive
- 22:34line that has obviously gotten better in the offseason.
- 22:37I think Cam Ward is going to be so electrifying.
- 22:39I don't know if he's going to be what we've seen over there and
- 22:42why Washington. I don't think he's Jaden Daniels
- 22:44yet, but the ability that this kid has inside and out of the
- 22:48pocket, he wants to prove himself.
- 22:49What should door Sanders was all offseason and throughout this
- 22:54draft class and nobody was talking about Cam Ward and what
- 22:57he being hit being the number one pick.
- 23:00It was all about Shidor Shidor. Shidor Shidor goes in the fifth
- 23:03round and everybody forgets that Cam Ward was the number one
- 23:06predominant pick. I think Cam Ward is going to
- 23:08prove himself this year and is going to show everybody, just
- 23:11like Jaden Daniels did with the Washington Commanders, that he
- 23:14could be explosive with the weapons that he has over there
- 23:17with the Tennessee Titans. I love Tennessee this year.
- 23:20They're not going to win a lot of games, but with Calvin Ridley
- 23:24and Tyler Lockett and Trey LON to Burks and all the weapons
- 23:27that they have on the field, they're going to be able to use
- 23:29their offensive prowess to actually open up the field,
- 23:33something they haven't had in a very, very long time.
- 23:36All right, it's time to judge and I'll go first.
- 23:40I thought this was a runaway victory for Errol Speedy.
- 23:44You can't give me a backup tight end and a running back who won't
- 23:47see the field till the second-half of the season and
- 23:50win a best fantasy rookies competition.
- 23:54When he takes the number one receiver taken and the number
- 23:57one quarterback taken. How how are you supposed to
- 24:00compete with that? I think Errol one because of the
- 24:03choice. You know, we weren't trying to
- 24:05get the sleeper guys. We were trying to get the best.
- 24:07We kept saying sleeper picks. I was like wasn't the best.
- 24:10You were still thinking of the previous rounds or something
- 24:12speedy. So for me, I thought it was a
- 24:15pretty clear victory for Errol for those reasons.
- 24:17But I thought this was a lot of fun.
- 24:19You know, I don't know job, if you agree with me, we don't need
- 24:21Nathan's vote. We can get the Nathan the Heck
- 24:23out of here or tiebreaker. Hold on, let's ask Nathan.
- 24:27What do you think? Nathan, what do you think?
- 24:30This was fun. I like the competition between
- 24:33Arrow and I mean Arrow and speedy.
- 24:36So about I'm going to go with Arrow because I love basic
- 24:39Graham. I love, I love all three, by the
- 24:41way, Cam Ward, McMillan and Graham.
- 24:43I feel like those three were going to put up big numbers this
- 24:47year for their respective teams. And especially McMillan.
- 24:50I think Bryce Young finally has a #1 receiver.
- 24:54He he, he's going to be a #1 receiver in my opinion in
- 24:56Carolina eventually. But yeah, so right, Song finally
- 25:01has a receiver that he can rely. On and Cohen actually worked
- 25:04with Mike Evans. So he he's big, he's long, just
- 25:08like Mike Evans, and he has that kind of ability in the red zone
- 25:12and by Carolina the last couple of years have been one of the
- 25:14worst red zone teams in the NFL. Now you had McMillan.
- 25:18I I think you give a defining offensive target that you need
- 25:22for a guy like Bryce Young, who by the way, hasn't had a number
- 25:25one wide receiver and since he's come into the league.
- 25:27So I I think that's why I like him.
- 25:30Before I go, can I give you guys my best value pick real quick?
- 25:33What is it? All right, the guy from Boston
- 25:36College, the Dallas guy. Is a raku that.
- 25:39Was really. Good.
- 25:39That was a good. He's really good.
- 25:42That was the best. That's the best value pick right
- 25:44there. I think he could be a steal in
- 25:45the draft potentially. Also, it's ironic but.
- 25:49Good input. Jeff's favorite corner went to
- 25:51the Cowboys the TV hates the most.
- 25:53Yes. Let's hope he can't stay
- 25:55healthy. Errol the king stays the king.
- 26:00I don't know. I didn't understand where Speedy
- 26:02was going with that. I really don't.
- 26:04I have no idea where he's going with that.
- 26:07He's kept going. Sleeper pigs.
- 26:09I don't know where he was going with that.
- 26:11I thought Cam, I do believe Cam Water is going to win.
- 26:14Offensive rookie. I absolutely believe it.
- 26:16I think he's, he, he's going to be so explosive.
- 26:20I did not understand the whole conversation with Shudor
- 26:23Sanders. People forget that this guy was
- 26:25the number one pick. And then I, I love Mason Graham
- 26:28with Miles Garrett. Could you imagine what that
- 26:30defensive line everybody was saying?
- 26:32Why did they trade out of that pick and, and, and let Hunter go
- 26:35over there? I don't know.
- 26:36They got Mason Graham at #5 and they got a ton of picks for it.
- 26:40And, and look at that. Look how many, look at their
- 26:42draft. The draft was sensational.
- 26:44The two, the two second round picks that they had in the top
- 26:47of the second round, we're great.
- 26:49I think. I think the Browns had one of
- 26:51the best drafts they've ever had and I think they have one of the
- 26:54more underrated coaches in all of the NFL.
- 26:56So I like what the Browns did. I thought that was a really,
- 26:58really good draft for them. I agree with.
- 27:00You I thought the I thought, you know, like Speedy, I would have
- 27:03probably said something about Derek Harmon if I was talking
- 27:07about the Steelers defense, you know, just about how they
- 27:10they're they're trying to address those needs, but they
- 27:12are an aging defense. I don't know if they're going to
- 27:14be that great next season because of that.
- 27:16So I wasn't super convinced by the argument.
- 27:18I think Graham, you put him next to Garrett.
- 27:21That's a problem. Like I, I don't know what you
- 27:23do. If he's as good as we think he
- 27:25is, that's a problem for the entire NFL.
- 27:28So guys, that's been our first ever King of the Hill.
- 27:33All right, ladies and gentlemen, our deuce of the day, the.
- 27:38Deuce of the day. You'll log not a log.
- 27:41I don't have a log but. I.
- 27:49Our deuce of the day goes to Citi Fields and the New York
- 27:54Mets. And the reason why is Juan Soto
- 27:58finally hit his first home run in Citi Field, ladies and
- 28:02gentlemen. Yes, And it was today as
- 28:05everybody was talking about how many home runs this guy's going
- 28:08to hit in a bigger ballpark. Well guys, it took him almost 30
- 28:13games to hit his first home run in Citi Field when last year in
- 28:18Yankee Stadium he hit his 1st home run in his first game in
- 28:23Yankee Stadium. So ladies and gentlemen, my
- 28:26deuce of the day goes to the New York Mets and the 700 and what
- 28:30$67 million they spent for a guy that hit his first home run in
- 28:36in his first home game. Well, in his first in his his
- 28:39first home run in a home game that took him 30 games to hit So
- 28:44Juan Soto in the New York Mets. That's my deuce of the day goes
- 28:49to Juan Soto and the New York Mets and, and, and the debacle
- 28:52them that Juan Soto has been so far this season.
- 28:55We'll see what happens moving forward, but I don't think it it
- 28:59doesn't bode well for them. It takes him 30 days, 30 games.
- 29:02I'm sorry, not 30 days, 30 games to hit his first home run in
- 29:05Citi Field. So not a good one, ladies and
- 29:08gentlemen, not a good one at all.
- 29:09So deuce of the day, baby. I, I, I don't understand.
- 29:14And Mets fans are happy. They should be happy right now.
- 29:16And I'll tell you why the Mets fans should be happy.
- 29:19They're winning. They have the best record right
- 29:21now in baseball. But when you're paying a guy
- 29:24$767,000,000, that to me is bad. OK.
- 29:30And what is what is he saying over here?
- 29:31Josh is saying, can't even get the joke out.
- 29:34Laughing my ass off. I don't know what he what he's
- 29:36talking about. I don't know, I, I don't get
- 29:39what he's saying, but nevertheless, I, I think the
- 29:42fact is when you look at the New York Mets and, and where they
- 29:44are, they're they're playing great baseball.
- 29:46They're one of the, the best teams in baseball.
- 29:48But when Juan Soto can't hit home run in almost 30 games at
- 29:53home, that to me is bothersome. I know it's early and he's got
- 29:57what, 12 or 13 years to try it. It's playing.
- 30:00What is he saying right? Off air.
- 30:03I I guess I don't. I don't care anyways while.
- 30:07We did talk about Giannis and giving him credit for not
- 30:09punching him, yes. Was he not?
- 30:11Was he not listening? No, I think he's referencing
- 30:12something with the Mets. He's, he's something with what I
- 30:15know he's. Talking about Giannis and giving
- 30:17him credit for not decking him. No, no, no, no, he's talking
- 30:19about. He's like on tape delay and
- 30:21watching us. No, no, no, no.
- 30:23He's responding to it right now that says 905 the comments.
- 30:25Yeah, he's talking about that. He could be watching on YouTube.
- 30:28Like can't even he's not joke out laughing my fucking ass off
- 30:32Whatever. Anyways, I, I just think that
- 30:35the Mets met fans are very excited about the season.
- 30:37They should be. But you, you can't be happy that
- 30:40it takes Juan Soto to hit in 30 games to hit his first home run
- 30:45at home. I was watching later, Jabba.
- 30:48I, I, I guess I, I don't know what's going on here.
- 30:51I don't get what you're doing. Josh, stop.
- 30:53Why don't you just tell us what you're talking about?
- 30:56I don't get what you're making a joke.
- 30:57About tell him to call in we actually.
- 30:59Yeah, why don't he call in? I don't get what he's.
- 31:01Saying, hey, you know what is Lisa's watching so well?
- 31:05Yeah, I don't get what he's saying.
- 31:06I really don't. I do.
- 31:08The joke is on the Mets right now because they're paying him
- 31:10$767,000,000 and it took him 30 games at his first home run at
- 31:15home. I don't think that bodes well if
- 31:17you're a Mets fan. And again, I would worry if I
- 31:21was watching Minnesota right now.
- 31:22Now, again, it's early and there's 162 games, but how many
- 31:27homes home runs does he hit at home?
- 31:29That's my question. How many, how many home runs is
- 31:32he going to hit in Citi Field? And we said this when he went to
- 31:35that, when he decided to go, he said that it was his favorite
- 31:38ballpark to play in. It was his favorite ballpark to
- 31:41play in. And he hits one home run in 30
- 31:43games over there. How many home games has the Mets
- 31:45played so far? Sweetie, do you know you're a
- 31:48Mets fan? You should know this.
- 31:50How many home games has the Mets played?
- 31:52They're they're 21 and 11. It ain't my money, so I don't
- 31:57give a crap. So that's what he's saying.
- 31:58I'm not worried, but I would be worried.
- 32:00I don't know. It's not your money, but it will
- 32:02be your money when you're paying all that money to go and watch
- 32:04the Met games live, especially when they're a good team.
- 32:07So you are going to be paying when the Mets are good.
- 32:09You got to pay for those tickets and you got to pay for parking.
- 32:12You got to pay for everything. The food's going to go up and
- 32:14everything. Speedy.
- 32:15What is the Mets 13 and three? They're 13 and three.
- 32:19So the Mets have played 16 games and Juan Soto has hit one home
- 32:24run in those sixteen games. That's not a good sign.
- 32:26He. Had two.
- 32:26He had two today. Oh, so he had two home runs.
- 32:29So it took him 16 games to hit two home runs and it was back to
- 32:34in the same game. So that would worry me if I was
- 32:37a Mets fan. Now again, he can get hot, but
- 32:40why would you leave Yankee Stadium when you were hitting
- 32:43all those home runs and move over there to Citi Field when
- 32:46it's a bigger ballpark and obviously harder to hit home
- 32:49runs. It doesn't make any sense.
- 32:50And and the Mets, it's going to come back and haunt the New York
- 32:53Mets. I absolutely believe it.
- 32:54Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but one way or
- 32:58another, next five years the Mets are going to regret paying
- 33:00him $767,000,000. And if the Mets don't win a
- 33:03World Series in the next 5 years, boy oh boy, it's going to
- 33:07be one of the worst contracts in baseball history and the Mets
- 33:11need to win one because this guy is a bona fide DH.
- 33:15That's what he's going to be. Well.
- 33:16Looks like we got Josh on the phone.
- 33:17All right, Josh, have at it. What's up, everybody?
- 33:20First off, I know what you're saying about the Mets and
- 33:22everything like that. It is very early in the season,
- 33:24so I'm not even going to stress it.
- 33:26That's number one. Number two, it's not my money.
- 33:28But as far as what you're saying in regards to me paying for a
- 33:30game, I could literally go on the secondary mark and get a
- 33:33ticket for like 35. Right now.
- 33:35Right now. No, but I'm also you were
- 33:38talking about paying for parking or the first time.
- 33:39I don't I don't ever park at the city field lot anyway.
- 33:42I never parked. I haven't parked there since
- 33:44they opened up that stadium, so I parked for free.
- 33:47That's the other thing. And then, you know, like I said,
- 33:49I'm just enjoying what it is right now, the fun of the day.
- 33:53It's just so funny because I job I did get to the show late, but
- 33:57I listened to the show for a few minutes and the few minutes that
- 34:00I TuneIn I hear the first example Arrow brings up is with
- 34:05the fans punching somebody. I heard the Rangers fan punching
- 34:08this guy and then I hear juice of the day, Juan Soto hitting
- 34:11his first home run. And that's when I said, all
- 34:13right, This is why I turned it off, because it's just bashing
- 34:17the teams. I'm not bashing.
- 34:19First of all, I don't bear. I have never bashed the Mets on
- 34:21the show. Ever.
- 34:23Bash the Mets you. Do it on the side.
- 34:25I don't, I do not bash the Mets on this show, but what you
- 34:29should. Be doing is taking a deuce on
- 34:31the Knicks. That's what you should be doing
- 34:32because I. Just I just enough on the New
- 34:35York Knicks early in the show, I, I don't have to deuce anymore
- 34:38on the Knicks. I want to do something.
- 34:40I'm going to deuce on $767,000,000 that they're paying
- 34:44a guy that took him 16 games to hit his first home run at home.
- 34:48That, to me is a deuce. OK.
- 34:50But let me ask you. But let me ask you, what are
- 34:53they? They're 21 and 11 right now.
- 34:55That's funny. And and to me, that to me is if
- 34:58you're a Mets fan, that's bothersome because when he
- 35:00starts hitting, I'll tell you why.
- 35:03Because what I'm going to tell you why, when he starts to hit,
- 35:05then other people are going to get cold.
- 35:07We've seen this before with Juan Soto.
- 35:09He gets hot and then he's got a he's got to put the team on his
- 35:12back. Is he going to be able to do
- 35:14that when that time comes? Because it hasn't been done yet
- 35:17for him on the New York Mets and again, the New York Mets and and
- 35:21City Fields is a bigger stadium. It's going to be harder for him
- 35:24to take over games offensively in the big parts of those in the
- 35:27big parts of the field. And by the way, did you watch
- 35:30him play defense this past weekend against the Washington
- 35:33Nationals? He was putrid.
- 35:34He was horrible. He couldn't catch the ball.
- 35:37He's never been good defensively, yeah.
- 35:39He was pretty decent. He was decent.
- 35:41He was decent with the Yankees. He was decent with the Yankees,
- 35:45a lot better than what we've seen so far with the Mets.
- 35:48I'm just. Saying oh boy, what?
- 35:50Oh boy. What?
- 35:51No, I'm just going to leave it at this because I wouldn't let
- 35:53you guys continue the show and you and I could rant, ramble
- 35:56about this for hours. You and I have done this for
- 35:58years. And by the way, actually you're
- 35:59going to be on the show with me tomorrow on my show, which will
- 36:03be that's the first time that you and I have worked the show
- 36:04to get sweeties probably like what it's going to be the first
- 36:07time you and I work a show together.
- 36:08I think it was 2 1/2 three years.
- 36:10It's been a long time. Yeah, This is why we keep it
- 36:13that way. But anyway, you're right.
- 36:16Because the first thing I'm going to do is attack the New
- 36:18York Mets in Juan Soto's $767 million.
- 36:22Contract. That's it.
- 36:22That's well, that's it. That's one of the topics.
- 36:24Tomorrow. You don't know what the topics
- 36:26are. Yes, I can't wait.
- 36:26I don't know what topics are. Yeah, it's going to be great.
- 36:28I'll be watching my ass when I'm going.
- 36:30When I'm done with that show, maybe.
- 36:32Maybe the first topic we should talk about is heck of Mitch at
- 36:34the way he's shooting free throws.
- 36:35Oh, let's, I mean, I mean, you know, Mitchell's.
- 36:39Opposite. Listen that I blame the Knicks
- 36:41for that. Because the Knicks.
- 36:45Really quickly I I will say this there, there is one guy that I'm
- 36:49getting very frustrated with at this point and they traded, they
- 36:52put him in, they put they put D Vincenzo in the trade for towns
- 36:57and because they had a feeling that this guy would step up and
- 37:01really be a big part of this team this season.
- 37:04Deuce McBride has done nothing. He's been.
- 37:08Horrible. And they put because they they
- 37:12because Minnesota asked for, they asked for McBride in that
- 37:15deal and the Knicks said, no, we'll give you D Vincenzo
- 37:17instead because it was more money.
- 37:19And I think the Knicks are regretting that one because
- 37:22let's call it like it is. I know D Vincenzo's not had a
- 37:23great season. But the other problem is the
- 37:26Knicks. They're an offensive team with
- 37:28the defensive coach. It's mixing oil and water
- 37:31together. You can't.
- 37:32It doesn't work. It will never work out.
- 37:35That's the reality of this between the there's no like
- 37:38there's no ball movement with this team.
- 37:39Perry Bronson does ISO offense for a good.
- 37:42I know it's like Carmelo Anthony esque.
- 37:45That's what it is. It's it's all about the way
- 37:47Carmelo, did you watch Carmelo Anthony's faces?
- 37:50You know, he was the faces he was making in Madison Square
- 37:54Garden the other day. Did anybody?
- 37:55Watch it, it was like a reflection.
- 37:57Absolutely. It was absolutely embarrassing
- 38:01and and I blame Tom Thibodeau. I really do.
- 38:04Everything that Tom Thibodeau has done in this series, it
- 38:07makes you shake your head and he is not the right guy.
- 38:10Knick fans, I'm telling you, whatever the Knicks decide to do
- 38:13moving forward, they're going to have to decide, is Thibodeau the
- 38:16guy? Are you going to bet on Tom
- 38:19Thibodeau? I mean, I ask this and I'll ask
- 38:21everybody else that's that's there as well.
- 38:23Fishing everybody. By the way, what's up?
- 38:25Everybody didn't get to say hi to everyone.
- 38:26What's up, Josh? Errol was too busy screaming at
- 38:28me when I got on the air. I knew he was going to do that.
- 38:31You're the one who's been talking more than.
- 38:33Everyone makes up 13 by the way. But my question is now, Errol,
- 38:39you think that even even if they if they get out of this first
- 38:44round, right, if they get out of this round, which looks like the
- 38:46talent deficiency, it's not even close, then it should have been
- 38:50won this series in five games. I know the Pistons are a tough
- 38:52team, but let's, let's be real. Told you they were going to lose
- 38:54that game, by the way. If they go now, if they play the
- 38:58Celtics and they get smacked around, which very realistically
- 39:02that right, we could all think that that is probably what is
- 39:05going to happen. I know Arrow has somewhat hope
- 39:08that he thinks it might not happen, but I I think they're
- 39:11going to get smacked around. My, my, I think it's like is, is
- 39:15Timido really going to come back next season if they get?
- 39:18Smoked in the second round. They have.
- 39:20They're going to have to make that a series against the
- 39:22Celtics. If they don't make it a series
- 39:24and let's say the Celtics win in five games, Thibodaux is going
- 39:28to be looking for a new job because there's quite a few good
- 39:31coaches that could be available. We were talking about one that
- 39:34could be coming from Miami if he becomes available.
- 39:38Malone. Malone I love.
- 39:40I told you I love Malone. I think Malone would fit
- 39:42perfectly here in New York. I think he'd be great.
- 39:45I I think obviously the Knicks are going to have their choice.
- 39:49There's going to be a lot of coaches that are going to be
- 39:50available. I would have liked Kenny
- 39:52Atkinson. He goes over there to the
- 39:54Cavaliers and look what the Cavaliers had done this year.
- 39:57You like Perry too. I know you like that guy over
- 40:00there with Kenny Atkinson. If he'd be complete, I'm sorry.
- 40:03Yes, we knows what to talk about.
- 40:05What? Oh my God, Johnny.
- 40:08Johnny Brian, you're talking about for the Cavs?
- 40:10Yeah, for the Cavs, he's the guy.
- 40:11Because honestly, let's call it. My question is, he was the top
- 40:14assistant for the Knicks last year and for the couple, why did
- 40:17he leave all of a sudden to go to Cleveland?
- 40:19And like, what's up with that? Doesn't that ring bells and
- 40:23alarms? Like why is he leaving to go to
- 40:25Cleveland? Because of Bronson's father.
- 40:27Because of Bronson's father, I don't.
- 40:29Think. I think, I don't think he wanted
- 40:31to deal with that anymore. And it looks like Bronson,
- 40:34Bronson's father, has all the say as the the bench coach.
- 40:38You see Bronson, I know, but again, his son is the best
- 40:43player or the second best player on the team and he's the
- 40:46superstar and the captain of the team.
- 40:48So that's why he has a job and, and that was his way or that was
- 40:51the Knicks way of drawing Bronson to come and play in New
- 40:54York. So I don't think it was a stupid
- 40:56idea. I don't think Thibodeau made the
- 40:58stupid wrong decision. I just think where the Knicks
- 41:01are and where the Knicks are sitting right now, it doesn't
- 41:03bode well for Tom Thibodeau moving forward if they can't
- 41:06knock off this Detroit Piston team, which they're much better
- 41:09than, and then go into the Boston, Boston Guardian,
- 41:12wherever you call that place and not win one of those games and
- 41:15make this a series. The Knicks have to make that
- 41:18Celtics Series A series. I think the Knicks match up very
- 41:21well against them. I just there's a lot of
- 41:24questions on how this team is going to play against the Celtic
- 41:28team that plays great team defense.
- 41:30The Knicks don't play any team defense and the Celtics do.
- 41:33Here's the problem with the Celtics.
- 41:35Tatum is not 100 and healthy and when this team doesn't have
- 41:38Porzingis 100% or even 85%, they're going to have problems
- 41:42against Karl Anthony Towns and maybe even Mitchell Robinson.
- 41:45I think Mitchell Robinson needed some time on the court.
- 41:48He hasn't had a lot since he's come back.
- 41:50I think now that he's playing a lot of basketball now in the
- 41:53last couple of games, it's going to give him a little bit more
- 41:55confidence. I think the Celtics, they don't
- 41:57have a lot of size either. The Celtics are not a big team.
- 42:00I think the Knicks match up better against the Celtics do in
- 42:04this series then then even in the Orlando Magic, who I think
- 42:07is much better than Detroit. So I think the Knicks are going
- 42:10to make it a challenge if they can knock off the Detroit
- 42:13Pistons. I don't think they beat him, but
- 42:15I think it's going to be a lot closer than people think and
- 42:17does that is that enough for Tom Thibodeau to keep his job?
- 42:20The answer no. I think Tom Thibodeau loses his
- 42:23job, especially if they can't beat the Celtics.
- 42:26You got to get out of the second round and since Tom Thibodeau
- 42:29has been there, he's taking his team as far as the second round.
- 42:32I want to see them go to the Eastern Conference finals and I
- 42:34don't think even with the talent that they have, a lot of people
- 42:37believe the Knicks are good enough with the talent that they
- 42:40have, especially their front five.
- 42:42You had a Mckell Bridges for five first round draft picks and
- 42:46he really hasn't done enough this year.
- 42:48Karl Anthony Towns and then you have a front set, a front five
- 42:52with OG and a Nova. You paid him $240 million in the
- 42:55offseason. Jalen Bronson.
- 42:57I mean, this team should be much, much better in this
- 43:00Detroit series. They have not played team
- 43:02defense. So it's going to be a lot of
- 43:04questions on what the Knicks do in the offseason, especially if
- 43:07Tom Thibodeau can't get out of that second round.
- 43:09All right, ladies and gentlemen, we're still waiting for Quinton
- 43:12Culpo. So I'm sorry.
- 43:14Yeah, he said he was running late, but I thought he said it
- 43:17will wait like 5. Minutes go to the.
- 43:18Yeah, we got sounded out. Right after all right, so let's
- 43:22go, sounded out, ladies and gentlemen.
- 43:25Here, Jay Quellen. Where's Jay Quellen at?
- 43:27No, Jay Quellen here. Do you mean Jacqueline?
- 43:30Let's sound it out. What you call me?
- 43:32Sound it out. All right, guys, it looks like
- 43:37our guest is in backstage just got in so we'll this is our
- 43:41quickest one anyway, Errol playoff hockey names wonderful
- 43:44guys that are still active in the playoffs right now, or at
- 43:48least we're in the first round first one up.
- 43:52Sound it. Out.
- 43:56Oh God, Jess. Free Ketanami.
- 44:07Speedy do the honors for. Us yes, ferry it Kakaniyami.
- 44:11Oh yeah, I'm going to get that right.
- 44:13Get the hell out. Of here.
- 44:15Good luck on that. Yeah, all.
- 44:16Right, Hope for one. Let's go on to the second one.
- 44:21And here we go, Errol in the playoffs right now.
- 44:25One more high pick. Sound it out.
- 44:30Oh my God. Jarridge.
- 44:34Slavkovsky. Slavkovsky.
- 44:40You got it the the last name the second time, Speedy.
- 44:43How do you pronounce that first? Yeah, right.
- 44:47I'm not. How the hell am I supposed to
- 44:49sound that out when you can't sound out his first name?
- 44:52I like the JS said it pronounce it one more time for the.
- 44:55Raw jaws. Slakovsky that was.
- 45:00Great. All right.
- 45:01Last one O for 2L. You got to get one to make it to
- 45:05300 batting average. Sound it out.
- 45:09E2. OK, I think he had four points,
- 45:13the other yesterday. Luo's starer in it.
- 45:24No, it's not right. It's ET Lucerinin a great
- 45:29player. Oh God, please, I'll tell you
- 45:31this right now. If you guys didn't know these
- 45:34names, like if you didn't know that Speedy, I know he actually
- 45:37studies the names and, and, and how you pronounce them.
- 45:41I guarantee you if you weren't setting it up, you wouldn't be
- 45:44able to pronounce their names either.
- 45:46That's hard guys. These, these Russian names in
- 45:50these Swedish names and they're Lithuanian names.
- 45:54They're so bad. I, I, you can't even announce
- 45:56you can't even pronounce them because they're all over the
- 45:59place. Let's go for it.
- 46:00Let's parlay, parlay. Ole, Time for legs for lane.
- 46:15Hopefully you have no bets on this Knick game because it makes
- 46:18me sick to my stomach. Are you ready, Chaz?
- 46:23I am, but I got it. I got to ask you a question.
- 46:25How long have we been talking? A long time.
- 46:28Since 20/20/2020 I think, yeah. That Jelly, that Jelly comment
- 46:34you just made was one of the most beautiful things you've
- 46:36ever said. It's summed it up perfectly.
- 46:38Thank you. I'm not sure if that's going to
- 46:39be true with him, but I understood the concept and it
- 46:42was a perfectly. Sad.
- 46:44Thank you. Thank you.
- 46:45He is. He is like one of those
- 46:47munchkins that never have enough Jelly.
- 46:49That's what he is. He's not going to have enough
- 46:51tread on his feet to be able to play in the NFL longer than
- 46:55seven years, guys. All right, You ready, Chaz?
- 47:00Yeah, well, you know, it's, it's Derby Day, all right.
- 47:03Give us some time. Give us it in.
- 47:05See, I typed it in Derby Day. Go ahead, give us your number
- 47:10one. Yeah.
- 47:12I'm not sure how we're going to handle it for the ponies though.
- 47:15So here's what I was thinking. I got stuck at Discount Tire for
- 47:20four hours today. My tire went out on the way to
- 47:22pick up the racing form. So I had the racing form and in
- 47:25a lobby of a tire shop. So I went through all for
- 47:30Friday. So why don't I talk about some
- 47:31Friday horses? So I'll give up.
- 47:34I'll give up four different races all.
- 47:37Righty. Does that work for you?
- 47:40Guys, Oh yeah, give it to us. Give us your your 4.
- 47:42All right. Give us your 4.
- 47:45So we are now this is everything's Churchill Downs.
- 47:49It starts really early. It's 7:00 out here.
- 47:52The book opens. They normally open at 10 and
- 47:55this is the sixth race, so it's 1:42 Eastern Time.
- 48:00This is a Churchill down at Aleshiba Stakes.
- 48:03Aleshiba was a great horse and it's a great two.
- 48:06It's 3/4 of $1,000,000. So this is a lot of money if you
- 48:10win this. And we got two horses in here
- 48:12that are so even that we're just going to assume that they're the
- 48:15best 2 and they're going to go all the way.
- 48:17And we're going to do a 24 exacta box.
- 48:21So it doesn't matter how much you want.
- 48:22Normally I'll do $10.00, so it's a $20 bet.
- 48:25But a two floor exacta box in the sixth race, again, it's 142
- 48:30at Churchill Down and this is Kentucky Oaks day tomorrow.
- 48:38That's number one. All right, give us we got.
- 48:40Give us your whole thing. Give us your whole thing.
- 48:43OK, so there's. Two number, three number.
- 48:45Four I go next I I went to. The next race I went to is the
- 48:50ninth race, the ninth race to Churchill Downs.
- 48:53It's at 1:07, it's in 107 and we have the 10 and the 12.
- 49:01Same exact thing. We're doing the same exact thing
- 49:04sometimes. So the way I handicap is I give
- 49:07credit for, and I'll talk about it with the 2 Derby plays.
- 49:09I'm going to give out the I give out.
- 49:12I look at everything and whoever has the best overall, everything
- 49:16I go with. And these horses are two seconds
- 49:19faster than everybody else on here.
- 49:21I'm assuming at the end there's going to be 1-2.
- 49:23They're the favorite, so you got it.
- 49:24If the exact, you can't really bet them to win.
- 49:26So we're going to go 1011, same thing.
- 49:29So this is the ninth race. This is 107 tomorrow.
- 49:33No, there would be for you guys, three O 7, three O 7 tomorrow,
- 49:38the old man rhythm. So that's, that's, that's
- 49:41Friday. So here's what I do.
- 49:42I go and I get my tickets in the morning and then I hold on to
- 49:46them. I don't cash them.
- 49:46If I cash tomorrow, I'm waiting because we go Saturday every
- 49:50year and we have a, we have a raging party.
- 49:53And so I'll get all my bets in before the, the, the the gummies
- 49:58kick in. Because otherwise I one time we
- 50:00went up to San Anita for the Breeders Cup and I was so high I
- 50:05never got my bed in and I hit the pic floor.
- 50:07I was really pissed. Okay, so they had a scratch
- 50:10today. Do you guys follow that on your
- 50:12show? Yeah.
- 50:14So the horse that got in is a good horse.
- 50:17He's a little scary. I tossed him.
- 50:19So I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with it, but I I go, I look
- 50:23at who has the fastest 6 for a long time, who has the fastest
- 50:26mile time, who has the fastest mile and a 16th time and who has
- 50:30the fastest mile and an eighth time, because those are all the
- 50:33prep races. Then I look for who's closing
- 50:36because in the Derby you saw last year, the horses that are
- 50:39coming are winning. And then I go quality one,
- 50:42quality 2. So quality is are you racing
- 50:44against good horses? Quality 2 is are you racing
- 50:47against the best horses? And finally, I don't know if you
- 50:51know Andy Buyer, but he came up with this number a while ago and
- 50:54it works. So I use it and that's how I
- 50:56come up with the winner. But I give everything points for
- 50:58that whole system. And so we are betting two
- 51:01horses, we are betting the eight who is the favorite and we are
- 51:06betting the 18. The 18 is not the favorite.
- 51:10I don't even know the odds on the 18.
- 51:12But we got journalism and sovereignty.
- 51:14Now journalism will be the favorite.
- 51:16The way we bet on Derby day guys as we go for super factors and
- 51:20trifectas. So we don't really care if the
- 51:24favorites in there. We just need the favorite to
- 51:26come in second. So I'm betting them both in an
- 51:31exacta, but I will have 18 to win because 18 won't be a
- 51:35favorite. If eighteen wins and eight comes
- 51:39in second, it will be for me a very good Derby day.
- 51:43All right. Is that all you're for?
- 51:45Is that four of them? That's my that's Oh no, I got
- 51:48one more the race after this is the race after the this.
- 51:55I forgot about this one. This is also Friday.
- 51:58My bad. It's the horse is called
- 52:00resilience. I don't know if that's how you
- 52:04pronounce it. I forgot about that one because
- 52:06he runs after the feature. All right, so the features the
- 52:10Oaks and I'm not giving out the Oaks because it's AI think it's
- 52:13a one horse race and it's not going to pay anything.
- 52:16But this is the 12th race Churchill down 627 Eastern Time.
- 52:20So what games will be going on at 6:27 tomorrow?
- 52:23At night. Probably some.
- 52:26Baseball, probably baseball and and getting ready for the some
- 52:28of the basketball games. So the the playoffs started
- 52:33what, 7:00 usually? Yeah, yeah.
- 52:35The basketball game. Yes.
- 52:37So, yeah, so that'd be cool. And catch that ticket and then
- 52:39you can bet it on basketball. Just keep betting.
- 52:42All right, So it's #7 resilience.
- 52:46That is in tomorrow's 12th race to Churchill, down 627 Eastern.
- 52:52I apologize because that one is on my list.
- 52:55I'm betting that without even handicapping the race, I did not
- 52:57handicap that race. That's one of my list horses.
- 53:00I had Honor Marie on the 30th, which I think was yesterday. 5
- 53:05to 1 horse, $13 to win. So God bless you guys.
- 53:09Chaz, thank you bud. We really appreciate you as
