- 0:00Speaker 1: Best trump ever. It's one more thing.
- 0:03Speaker 2: I'm strong and one more thing.
- 0:10Speaker 3: So I watch a lot of clips of stand up
- 0:13Speaker 3: comedians on YouTube and because and it's self perpetuating, you
- 0:18Speaker 3: know these things. I might not always but I started
- 0:21Speaker 3: at some point years ago, and so it's constantly feeding
- 0:24Speaker 3: me comedians. And then I click on him, and and uh,
- 0:28Speaker 3: the Shane Gillis guy had kept showing up on the
- 0:30Speaker 3: feed of stand up comics and I had never clicked
- 0:32Speaker 3: on it for some reason because I didn't know who
- 0:34Speaker 3: he was, but it showed up a lot. And then
- 0:35Speaker 3: he was hosting Saturday Night Live this past Saturday night,
- 0:39Speaker 3: and I got to see him for the first time.
- 0:40Speaker 3: And then I just watched a bunch of videos and
- 0:42Speaker 3: he is a funny dude, very interesting demeanor, perspective sort
- 0:47Speaker 3: of thing. I think he's uh, he's from Red Country,
- 0:51Speaker 3: but I think he's smart enough. Unless you're gonna like
- 0:54Speaker 3: full on do like that's your brand. I'm going to
- 1:02Speaker 3: be a Red State comic. You don't want to do
- 1:07Speaker 3: that because it eliminates so much. So he kind of
- 1:09Speaker 3: dabbles in it but acts like he's not anyway.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Now that reminds me I was thinking the other day,
- 1:15Speaker 4: oddly enough, and I realize a lot of like hipsters
- 1:20Speaker 4: consider it a joke to take him seriously. But Jeff Foxworthy,
- 1:24Speaker 4: how he was hilarious about everything rural America, middle America, whatever,
- 1:32Speaker 4: and affectionate at the same time, And how brilliant that
- 1:36Speaker 4: was and how difficult that is to do. And does
- 1:39Speaker 4: that even exist now where you can gently rib your
- 1:43Speaker 4: own people and everybody can enjoy it.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Well, I don't know, but I think Shane Gillis was
- 1:46Speaker 3: trying to avoid being put in the Jeff Foxworthy, you know,
- 1:50Speaker 3: Red State comic camp. Any Who, he went to an
- 1:53Speaker 3: interesting dude if you saw him on Saturday Night Live.
- 1:56Speaker 3: He went to West Point for a year, then left
- 1:58Speaker 3: for some reason. But it ain't easy to get into
- 1:59Speaker 3: west Point. Then he was an offensive lineman for a
- 2:02Speaker 3: football team at a Division one school for a year.
- 2:04Speaker 4: And do you mean he was alignman and he said
- 2:06Speaker 4: a lot of insensitive things and pissed people off?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Er?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Was he offensive tackle trying to stop people from knocking
- 2:14Speaker 1: when they had the ball?
- 2:15Speaker 4: He was alignment?
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yes?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yes, AnyWho? He makes a lie? Can you hand me
- 2:20Speaker 1: the ball? Jeff? Fuck you, you piece of shit? You see
- 2:23Speaker 1: that would be that would be.
- 2:24Speaker 4: An offensive line.
- 2:25Speaker 3: This is before he was a stand up coming, and
- 2:27Speaker 3: he makes fun of Biden a lot, and he talks
- 2:29Speaker 3: up Trump in a weird sort of way. And he
- 2:31Speaker 3: said one thing where he was talking about he said,
- 2:33Speaker 3: I'm not a Republican yet, but like I'm super into
- 2:36Speaker 3: World War two. Like if you're in your twenties and
- 2:38Speaker 3: thirties and you're into World War two, you're on your way,
- 2:40Speaker 3: it's a starter thing, on your way to being a Republican.
- 2:43Speaker 3: And but so here he is talking up Trump, and
- 2:47Speaker 3: he's talking about how much he misses Trump's speeches and
- 2:50Speaker 3: one particular speech that he misses, and he does just
- 2:53Speaker 3: such a great trumpe impersonation.
- 2:55Speaker 2: But this is that is for real though it was
- 2:57Speaker 2: my favorite speech I've ever seen a president give. It
- 2:58Speaker 2: was the night. It was a night un says killed
- 3:00Speaker 2: the leader of isis. Trump comes out of the situation
- 3:03Speaker 2: room at like midnight in the White House, and he
- 3:05Speaker 2: walks down that fucking tunnel like he's gives a press conference,
- 3:08Speaker 2: like he's given a postgame NBA just killed a guy
- 3:12Speaker 2: press conference. He walks up in front of the entire world
- 3:14Speaker 2: at midnight and just goes aboo, bgar out bag, Daddy
- 3:20Speaker 2: is dead. He died like a dog and that's all
- 3:29Speaker 2: I hit him. UDEs, I didnt change one word of that.
- 3:33Speaker 2: That's what he opened with. And then he did forty minutes.
- 3:36Speaker 2: The speech is forty minutes for no reason. It wasn't
- 3:39Speaker 2: a prepared speech. He frees out forty straight, not even
- 3:44Speaker 2: a speech, just mean shit talk for forties, the meaner
- 3:47Speaker 2: shit talk you've ever heard in front of the whole world. Aboo.
- 3:52Speaker 2: We can hear him crying. I said, a boot, don't cry.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. Aboo. He cried quite a bit.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Wouldn't have.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Cry, baby back daddy.
- 4:04Speaker 2: That's what we were all calling.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Look, wow, I like what he says. I didn't change
- 4:14Speaker 1: a word of that. That's what he opened it. He
- 4:17Speaker 1: died like a dog.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Right Well. That reminds me of the speech we played
- 4:23Speaker 4: the other day. I can't even remember if he was
- 4:27Speaker 4: given Nicky haleyard time or Joe Biden. I guess it
- 4:30Speaker 4: was Joe Biden, but he was riffing and it was
- 4:32Speaker 4: so reminiscent of one of the great comedians of the
- 4:36Speaker 4: olden days in a crowded nightclub where he's just killing
- 4:41Speaker 4: and so he departs from his act and is just
- 4:43Speaker 4: riffing and people are loving it. And as I said
- 4:47Speaker 4: at the time, it sounded like Don Rickles at the
- 4:49Speaker 4: Copa Cabana or something, and that was Trump just riffing.
- 4:52Speaker 4: And I swear if he'd gotten tired of real estate
- 4:55Speaker 4: as a young man and had decided to become an entertainer,
- 4:59Speaker 4: which is kind I know what he is. I think
- 5:03Speaker 4: he could have been one of the legends.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Cry Baby, bag Daddy, that's what we were calling him.
- 5:07Speaker 1: That's what everyone is calling.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And then Shane Gillisons was ex actually kind of funny
- 5:11Speaker 3: because this is true. They were worried about bag Daddy
- 5:14Speaker 3: having explosives or whatever, so they blew open the wall
- 5:16Speaker 3: in the side of his house and sent in fifteen
- 5:21Speaker 3: Special Forces dogs with lights on their head and goggles
- 5:24Speaker 3: on in a robot.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And he said, you imagine.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Waking out of a dead sleep, your wall's blown out,
- 5:29Speaker 3: dogs coming are in with lights on their head and
- 5:31Speaker 3: a robot.
- 5:32Speaker 1: You'd cry too, I'd cry. Patrols not to get you,
- 5:38Speaker 1: Oh wow, yeah you would.
- 5:41Speaker 4: You would have to have a couple of seconds of thinking,
- 5:44Speaker 4: I'm clearly still asleep.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Right this is the weirdest dream ever. He died like
- 5:49Speaker 1: a dog. That was his opening. That's fantastic.
- 5:53Speaker 5: You know, the clip that we played the other day
- 5:55Speaker 5: was Trump imitating Biden and how he.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Was I have it here.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it's good when he was doing like physical com
- 6:03Speaker 4: Why you know when.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I imitate Biden because he can't find his way off
- 6:07Speaker 5: the stage. As you all know, he makes the speech
- 6:09Speaker 5: at last, usually about a minute and a half because
- 6:11Speaker 5: the octane starts to wear off at quickly. You ever
- 6:15Speaker 5: notice he starts off strong. Within about two minutes, he
- 6:17Speaker 5: can't talk anymore, and then he walks off. You ever
- 6:21Speaker 5: notice he always goes like this. Then he comes back
- 6:34Speaker 5: up to the mic and he's looking.
- 6:36Speaker 1: He's totally lost. The stairs all over the place.
- 6:39Speaker 5: He could go there, there, here, he could jump off
- 6:42Speaker 5: the front of the damn plot. But he always goes
- 6:45Speaker 5: like this.
- 7:03Speaker 4: You know what he reminds me of is Jackie Mason
- 7:08Speaker 4: when he was having like a really good show without
- 7:10Speaker 4: the obvious New York Jewish accent. But it was just
- 7:12Speaker 4: very Jackie Mason esque, which would make sense because I'm
- 7:15Speaker 4: sure Trump grew up, you know, digging those guys Jackie
- 7:19Speaker 4: and other.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Guys living room.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's come to think of it, yeah, yeah, clearly.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Yeah, the crowd reaction to Trump there is one of
- 7:26Speaker 1: the keys. I mean, the crowd was digging it.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Booth Bag Daddy died like a dog.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Didn't change your word of that. That was exactly what
- 7:35Speaker 1: he said.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Yeah, that's an amazing Trump.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Well, I guess that's it.
