I had I read it and every fifth is Patrick. I said Fitzgerald, where does that come from? Who's Fitzgerald? It happens a lot. Doesn't really. That's so funny, man. He built a career outside. I'm opening it up. He built a career outside the political class owning an old state, only the old state saloon and launching businesses across marketing, real estate and event operations. He's running to cut taxes, shrink government, strengthen law and order. Grounded in his Christian faith, he's a devoted husband for over 23 years and a proud father of six. Mark Fitzpatrick, thank you for coming on the show. Thank you for having me. It's an honor. Glad to be here. And it's been a while. We need to get you back at some point down the road to old state saloon again. Yeah. Well, that brings me up part of my introductions. I actually met Mark three years ago or something along those lines. I think we'd kind of known about each other a little bit before then. Because Mark bought this old saloon, old state saloon in the Boise area, a really neat kind of area and part of the kind of downtown district. And he had, he started doing Tuesday night kind of political events roughly or basically having a speaker come in and talk and people could eat food and drink a little beer while there and everything. And so I went down there. You've had a number of people, speakers down there who are some of your highlights. I can't even remember now. But who are some of the highlights you've had there? Oh, man. So we've had doctors in to talk about vaccines. That was early on. We've had people in to talk about Epstein files, Ian Carroll's controversial one. Yeah. Who's been in. Yeah. I mean, a lot. Yeah. A lot of really cool guests. So Mark did this, just started doing this as saloon and then how well, I just give a little of your backstory here and introduce yourself to our audience and just kind of talk about it because you didn't grow up in Idaho, but you moved here. So kind of talk a little bit about your backstory and then we'll get into why you're running for governor. Yeah, grew up in Los Angeles County and my dad was a police officer and I eventually did the same. Went through, got my degree from college and went into the academy. He was a police officer for 15 years. While I was doing that, I realized God wired me to be very entrepreneurial. So I brought these ideas to the government, the police department and they weren't really well received because the government doesn't like things like that. And so I started businesses on the side of my police work and a couple of them grew. And we were in at that same time, I found my wife and we went on our first date and I told her I'm dating for the purpose of getting married. So if you're not interested in that, then it'll just be one and done as far as dates go. But she said, I'm interested in going down that path. And two months later, we were engaged and we were married four months after that. And so we had six children relatively quickly and I'm going with my businesses and police work and at one point in time, I had 25 employees and I'm still working police work full time and she came up to me and she's like, you know, you should probably pick a career here. So I took the big leap of leaving the for sure job with the benefits and everything and I left I really liked being a police officer but I left it to do my businesses and everything. So but yeah, I was getting to Idaho. Yeah. So one of my businesses, my main business actually failed and it was due to the fluctuation of the yen versus the dollar of all things. But I had to lay off 25 people and I was looking at rebuilding and you know, my oldest was getting going and going to be going into high school soon, looking at rebuilding and I'm in like, man, I do not want to rebuild a business in California. This is a disaster. They were talking about, you know, vaccine mandates for kids coming for schools and just all that. What are you guys know? What are you guys know? What are you guys know? 2017, 16, 17. Wow. Yeah. And so we moved out here and it was on the front end of a church plant out here actually. We came out to help that church plant. So that was started in our shop out here, which was awesome. Okay. And so you moved to Idaho in about 2018, 17, 18. Okay. Beginning of 18 and I was in the real estate biz and sold a lot of houses and reinvested back into a couple of companies and one of them is a wedding venue. The other one is what is today old state saloon. Okay. Yeah. And you still have the wedding venue. I've never been there. I heard it was pretty cool though. Yeah. Next time you're in town, check it out. We do probably between roughly around 70 weddings or events per year. Oh, wow. And we're getting. I had to take most of the winter off because I had to put these fire sprinklers in ridiculous projects. But yeah. But we're back and we're got our weddings going and we didn't event there last weekend actually for my campaign and we had a concert and everything was about 300 people showed up. It was great. Oh, nice. Nice. Very good. And so obviously you went through COVID in Idaho. That was probably a strong impetus of you doing what you're doing now because you're running for Governor of Idaho against a two-term incumbent Brad Little. I mean, was it COVID that woke you up? What started this path for you? Well, I mean, I had always been the type of person that was questioning things long before moving to Idaho. But definitely COVID, I knew it was pretty much a scam from the get go because I have a tendency to believe doctors who are Christians who are giving up their entire careers in livelihood for what they're saying compared to doctors who are getting paid a big fat paycheck for what they're saying. And so it really all became pretty clear. I was pretty active against some of the things that were going on with rally people to go protest and try to get the health board to not make stupid decisions about mandates and everything. And I showed up when BLM was supposed to come into town, we went down with AR15 slung around our necks and so that type of person, meanwhile, Brad Little was shutting things down, shutting churches down, giving himself emergency powers, extending those powers for 900 days, and taking all kinds of money and with that money creating agencies and services and allowing refugees by the thousands to come in to Idaho along with all these strings attached to it all. And now here we are. We're children in the burden of the consequences of that and all the illegal immigrants that have come in. And it's kind of like he sold out or was part of the big sell out of our children no longer really having the birthright that they're supposed to have. And instead we have people who aren't Americans that are looking to basically take that and we have to pay for it. Yeah. Now, one of the couple of things here, one is just so everyone knows that I've endorsed Mark to run for governor against Brad Little. And a number of reasons why one's because I know Mark personally. He's been very kind to me and been honest with me. But I also, I'll just say, with the big Idaho issue, the big, you know, 50,000 foot issue of reason why I endorsed Mark besides my personal friendship with him is I couldn't support Brad as governor. Also just in the category that like don't forget, like don't forget Brad Little shut down churches in 2020. Like unconstitutionally shut down churches in 2020. And he didn't remove churches out of his shutdown health emergency order until me and my friends sued him. And then he removed churches out of it gave churches exemptions. And then the judge that ruled on our lawsuit said, well, it's kind of a moot point right now because Brad removed it. You don't need to sue him over it because it's not, you know, the churches aren't shut down anymore, which is like is kind of a frustrating decision because like no, we what he did was unconstitutional. And that's what we want to prove. And that's what we want to make clear with the courts. Right. But I think the judge kind of was playing a little chicken little himself kind of thing in that decision. He said, I do welcome it. If Brad puts it back in, he said, I do welcome a lawsuit, which was really funny. And so I just don't think any concern. We should, I mean, that's not a conservative move to shut down churches to, you know, to violate our constitutional rights. And then to all brush it under this is one of my frustrations with the Republican party here in Idaho's like we really can't have honest discussions in the Republican party in Idaho. And we need to do that. And we need to be able to just honestly be able to disagree with each other, fight with each other, have good, you know, the problems, iron sharp, and it's really needs to be applied to the Republican party. Let me give you a couple examples of this. So we can't, we can't talk about what Brad didn't pass, but we're all like encouraged to vote for him now. Like, you know, hey, for, you know, like use your short memory vote for Brad now. Kind of thing. But let me give you an example of Russ Foltz, a Russ Foltz is a friend of mine. I just talked to him three weeks ago. What's, what's frustrating? Here's another subject we can't talk about. Russ Foltz are voted to release the Epstein files. And then like weeks later, I forget which congressman put it forward. The Congress has a money fund to put it, frankly, basically, that goes to pay off victims that were sexually assaulted by Congress. And in someone, one of the congressmen, I can't remember you can Google it, it happened a couple of weeks ago, they proposed, hey, we need to make that list, we need to make that list transparent, saying who's been paid off. In other words, which Congress representative has had an sexual assault filed against them? And they voted not to release that publicly. And Russ Foltz was one of the guys who voted not to release that. So it's like, yeah, we'll release Epstein files, but we won't release the Congress version of the Epstein files. And that's a conversation we should all be talking about and pointing out the hypocrisy of it. And so I think one of the things that we need here in the Idaho Republican Party is just transparent debate in conversations about this kind of problems that are obvious that no one's talking about. Brad shut down our churches, uncovid in 2020. And now everyone just thinks, oh, we need to just vote for Brad again. So I appreciate, I know Mark is, he's swimming in some sense against the current by running against the two-term incumbent that President Trump endorsed because President Trump doesn't know about Mark. And so there's some definitely some upstream challenge there. But here's the thing, sorry, Mark, I'm interviewing you and I know I'm going on a little time here. But here's the thing, the Idaho primaries are the only thing that matter in Idaho, the only thing. A Republican is going to get voted in November, whether it's Mark or Brad, because that's what Idaho does in November. So the battle is here at the primaries. And the mark you can correct me if I'm wrong here. I believe the last primary, Brad little got something like, I don't know, 250,000 primary votes, something like that. And Janus McGee and got something like 130,000 or 150,000, something like that primary votes. I think by the end of the count, last count was a little higher than that, but that's what I last saw. So you just look at the numbers in Idaho. We got two million people in Idaho. And let's say you get 400,000 votes in the primaries, you know, 20% of Idaho votes to elect our governor in November. That's what really happens, because the primaries are the only thing that matters. So Mark, I want you to, you can comment on what I just said there, but I just, the primaries are winnable, but only like 20% of Republicans are getting out and voting in the primaries. And if we just, with step up in the primaries, we'd actually get better candidates for November. And so Mark, I want you to give me the case for why you think you can win in November. Yeah, it's actually smaller number than that. I thought it was about 150 and I just looked it up. I typed it while you were talking. It's 148,000 votes. He got, was 52.8%. And she got 90,000. That's right. Yep. And because it's a primary, I mean, we only had a 20, like 25% of our voters turned up for it, which is just crazy. I think this might even be less. So the Trump's not on the ballot. So it's giving me even a lower turnout. Right. You've hardly heard much about the race. Brad Little won't debate you. So you don't hear hardly anything about the race. And Mark's just driving and going around Idaho, rounding him up. So why are you going to win? So I've driven, we've driven 8,000 miles in the last two months. And we've gone everywhere and talking to everybody. All the committees, we've been to the Lincoln Day dinner. We've been to meet and greets. I was one at one last night in Kamiai. And there was 100 people there. It was great. These people were amazing. And I stood in front of them and answered questions for two hours. And they went from, they went from some of them being like sitting like this to start with their arms crossed. And at the end, they were said that they were super motivated for the future. You know, there is a lot of lost hope. People, they, everybody's 10, everybody says to me, hey, we are thankful you're running because we mom Brad Little out of there. So you talked about swimming against the current. It's really the current. There is like an establishment current. The rest of the grassroots is like basically thankful that I'm running once they hear about it. Just getting them to hear about it. So shaking thousands of hands, everybody comes to the conclusion when we start talking deeply about anything that they want truth. And it's because we live in a world where people are figuring out that there's deception that's deeply woven into like the fabric of our society at every level. There's just deception and corruption. And everybody wants truth. They want relief from it all. Whether, you know, because we can't even like believe anything we see on video now. And so people are all that much more. I exactly. And everybody's pushing back even more against it. And even more so. And you know, it's not just about wanting truth. So that's where I'm at. You know, I, I tell people, you know, it's not what you need to vote for. This election cycle, you know, policy is good and important. And if you want to know where I stand on policy, it's going to be very closely tied in with the actual Idaho Republican platform. If you read it. But as far as when who you vote for, you need to vote for somebody who is going to not sell out and give truth and provide truth. And that's what I'm dedicated to. I've just gotten to the point in my life. I'm so disgusted with everything. And I love the Lord so much that. I feel like there's two options I can run and hide with my family and shelter down basically somewhere away far away from civilization. Or I can wake up every day and just fight. I'm going to fight every day. And so that's what I decided to do. I'm just going to fight every single day and wake up and do that until, you know, my time here is over. I'm just like this world is like, you know, we just need to keep pushing back in this evil. I'm excited for eternity. But in the meantime, I'm going to serve the Lord every day and do it that way. And I explain that to people. I just tell them, you know, I love Jesus is all my heart with all my mind with all my soul. And I he is the way the truth in the life. And I want truth. And so I'm going to come in and there. And we are going to blow people's minds with how much truth we are going to expose. Corruption. We're going to expose corruption and provide truth to people. I'm going to be extremely populist style governor where we get the people very involved rally them constantly communicating with them. Having events where I stand up in front of them in a real place where they can actually ask questions will broadcast it live to everybody across Idaho. Whether that's in the Lincoln auditorium in our capital building or somewhere up in Moscow or all the way up at Boundary County. I'm, you know, I'll be there at least once a month in front of real people asking real questions. I mean, we have something like what happened this we've got a whole bunch of questions on, you know, chemtrails, for example. And, you know, the way I look at that is. Well, first of all, these things, it's real. It's on the Idaho power website that they, you know, spray the skies. And so we, what I promise to do is to put pressure using the rallying the people will put pressure on. Let's just say executive office of Idaho power to send somebody to stand in front of the people and answer questions in front of them so we can actually get some information and put some pressure on. On things and situations. There should be no secrecy. Everything should be available to the people my plan is to bring power back to the people by providing them the information. Yeah. You know, and it's, let me ask the question this way. Let's go back and finish finish my question. Why is it realistic that you could win the primaries in May 20 May 19 May 19 May 19. Yes, so we're going to need about a hundred and 125,000, 50,000 votes. We've got all these endorsements coming in. We've got seven central committees that have endorsed me. That's all seven. That's 100%. That means Brad little has zero county committee central committee endorsements. And the other members of the committee. We've got conservatives of that have endorsed me sheriff Mac. Other sheriff's rolling in pastors endorsements rolling in churches are starting to get involved. We're trying to wake everybody up. It seems there's a sense of urgency that is exponentially growing. You can definitely see it on social media. And, and I'm getting this. The amount of inquiries I'm getting every day. I'm getting this. I'm getting this. I'm getting this. I'm getting this. I'm getting this. I'm getting this. I'm getting this. About hundreds of. Signs a week. We just had to order another thousand more. And so there's definitely a massive excitement going and so that we're, we're, we're going that direction. And I, you know, I have to admit that I'm in a bubble, right? We get, we just keep getting served information that. The algorithm thinks we want to see. However, in real life, in real life going around and meeting people at these events. And so I'm going. Everybody's excited. I'm running and, and they all want Brad, Brad, little out of there. Yeah. So it's, it's looking good. Do you find yourself turning on the news and feeling hopeless? Woke, Ginnah's, Socialist Mayors, inflation, the list goes on. But we can take a stand by supporting companies that believe what you believe and what I believe. It's important that we stick together more now than ever. And there has been one company willing to stand with you since 2012. And that is Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. It's so important. They offer the very best nationwide from 4G to 5G to LTE on all their networks. In fact, they use the same towers as the major carrier. There's no difference. Patriot Mobile has service plans to fit any budget. And there are 100% US-based customer service, which is fantastic, by the way. It's more important than ever in terms of your relationship with yourself. Provider. Patriot Mobile shares your values and supports organizations fighting for religious freedom, your constitutional rights, the sanctity of life, and our veterans and first responder and heroes. If you switch to Patriot Mobile now, use the discount code cross-policit. PatriotMobile.com, FordsLash, CostPolite. That is PatriotMobile.com, FordsLash, CrossPolicit. So, to clarify, seven central Republican central committees in Idaho have all endorsed you. Yes. And those central committees represent every legislative district, correct? Corrector counties, yeah. Yeah, counties, let's say. And that's all. And then within these central committee districts, there's, you know, the Republican County, and the county, uh, Laytaw County kind of thing. That's a different endorsing body, but, you know, like, like our county Republicans here in Laytaw didn't endorse you or Brad little because they're so torn on it. Um, apparently there's, there's just, they just said, hey, why can't endorse anybody because we're split on it ourselves with the precinct leaders. Um, and so, but the central committees who represent kind of those, those county districts or those county areas, the central committees have endorsed you. Yeah, and these are after some of them are pretty intense vetting, you know, scenarios where numerous interviews, written answers like background investigations and things like that. And then they vote. And, and after all of that and being present and answering questions in front of them, which Brad little does not like to do. He doesn't want to answer any questions from anybody, but, um, yeah, that's my point. Like I just want conversation. I want transparency. I want real debate in our party. And when you see hypocrisy happen, you know, Brad little, um, shutting down churches, not submitting to the Constitution. You're serving the Constitution. Um, and doing these kind of things is like, yeah, in, in, in your right, I remember, um, most of my last real political engagement was in 2020 to 2022-ish. And then I had to kind of pass things off right now, because raising kids and stuff like that. There's a thick of raising kids and building businesses. Um, but even in, in 2020, um, I remember trying to communicate, trying to connect Brad, he would, didn't want to talk to me. He would do his press conferences, um, streamed with, um, liberal press in the room. So he wouldn't, he'd only answer their questions, wouldn't answer the people's questions. So me and James McGee and started doing our own press conferences about how you should be thinking about COVID, having our own doctors on, talking about COVID kind of thing. And there was just no conversation between, uh, and no communication and no desire to even reach out and talk with me or Janice McGee who's lieutenant governor, then, um, kind of stuff. And so, yeah, keep going. Yeah, we're going to, I mean, we're going to do that. We're going to appear. It's all standing front of people. We're going to do governor's podcast. Uh, we're going to do decentralized the media. We're going to skip mainstream media and go straight to the people with media out of a, uh, basically a press office, uh, distribute information to other people who are actually, you know, reporting on things rightly. Uh, when we do that, that'll put pressure on mainstream media to actually start reporting truth when you have, you know, decentralized media that's taken a pretty big force out with the public. And it'll rally. We're going to rally people. People will be far, imagine having a governor who is like, notifying everybody that there is a senator who's burying really good bills and a drawer and it's all going to expire if we don't rally, you know, to make this happen. And to just publicly expose them on one thing, you know, Trump, there's some things I love and there's some things I don't like about Trump. But one thing I love about him is that he'll just blast people, you know, and he'll just, if this is the truth and this is not good for the people of Idaho, I'm going to blast them and we're going to put pressure on people and expose people. That's what we need to do. Yeah, I'm going to go. I mean, we're so bloated. We have 200 agencies under the executive branch 200. Yeah. And so 200 agencies, the legislative branch works three months out of the year. The executive and judicial branches are the rest of the year completely unchecked. Why are they unchecked because our media never questions the governor. Why would a liberal media never question a Republican governor? Well, maybe because he's not very Republican, right? Yeah. Actually, he's the best thing that liberals are going to get in Idaho. Yeah. So, but, uh, you know, one of the things that can happen with conservatives is we can talk about all the negative things because we're going to point out negative things. You know, Brad little shut down churches in 2020. I've said that twice already on the show. But give me a positive vision of what you want to do as governor. Sure. So, um, the typical reduce the size of the government and cut taxes. But I want to tell you a way that I intend to do that. That's different. And this also kind of is a little bit of a nod to Trump. You know, he wants to he mentions talking about getting rid of, you know, income tax and having the ERS instead of the IRS right external revenue service. And so how do you do that? So he did it with tariffs and I'm starting to think, Hey, how can we do it? We need to take control of our natural resources. I've done a little bit of math on this. We start opening up mining and logging again and getting our economy going and booming. The numbers are huge. And they're really big. The last time we the last time somebody did a check on silver was like $30 million that we make per year. Is what I believe it was. And it's not worth looking into any further because it's not that big amount of money. Well, we only get 1% we get 1% and the main company coming in here and getting our silver out mining is owned by black rock and Vanguard. And so they pay 1% and they're pulling the silver out of here. Well, Alaska gets 10%. And so if we went to more like what Alaska's doing, that's 10 times 30 million, that's 300 million. And then if we take that and we actually increase the value of silver is going up dramatically from the last time it was checked. But if let's just say it goes to $300. Now we're at, you know, 100 times 30 million, which is 3 billion. That's enough to take out property taxes right there. Then if we multiply the amount of mining times 10%. You know, we're looking at 30 billion dollars. That's two times our entire year yearly, you know, expenditures for our entire government roughly. So just that's just using some estimates and, you know, on silver only you have gold. We have thorium. We have logging. We have all these other things that we can do. We need to lift the regulations. I need to get the feds out of Idaho. Let's take control of our own land and let's responsibly start mining and logging and let's become very rich. We'll diversify into investments, gold, silver, crypto, etc. And become extremely wealthy. Meanwhile, we'll, we'll have all of the illegal immigrants will leave will pass laws that actually make it illegal on a state level to employ illegals. I will buy executive order, create a division of Idaho state police that will investigate people who are employing illegals. We will prosecute them. And once we do nobody will employ illegals. Trust me. And when they can't employ illegals, illegals will leave. And then that will bring housing more available. But then also it'll free up our schools from the burden that is in our schools right now with 28 languages being spoken and all of the obstacles to trying to get all the kids properly taught. I think it's probably more like a babysitting kids right now rather than actual school. So that's a start. Yeah. Yeah. What do you, how do you think about like the economy right now? And where we're at and what you can be doing in Idaho to make Idaho thrive in the midst of kind of some national challenges? Yeah. So I just, I think that we are because our parents lived a certain way and their parents lived a certain way and their parents lived a certain way. We think that we have to pay these taxes. We think that we have to, you know, obey these rules and regulations and not cut down trees because the spotted owl and things like that. We just need to say enough enough is enough. We're not, we're not going to be limited anymore. We're going to take advantage of the trillions of dollars of natural resources we have. We're going to expand into nuclear energy. And, and move forward without this feeling of like where, you know, where are we going to find money and all this stuff? We need to, we need to, we need to expand and boom again instead of being limited and relying on outside governments or countries or whatever, whatever else on that note. I also am a big fan of basically making it illegal for outside countries to be buying up our land and farms, et cetera. We need to focus local and empower our local farmers with, you know, less regulations and get to the point where we're not working to put everything into a national supply chain, but to provide healthy food for Idaho and from Idaho and that will land on our tables, not only in our restaurants, but at home as well. As a Christian, how do you think about, I'll just ask the broad question. This might not be fair totally, but how do you think about like Christian nationalism as it applies to Idaho? Whenever someone brings about the good kind, not the, not the crazy kind. Okay, so when everyone brings that up, I always say like we need to define terms here because there's so much. And so I think, you know, generally speaking, I'm Christian, I would love my nation to be more Christian, right? That means that more people are knowing Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And as a response of being born again, there's a true desire to walk in the way in which he walked first John. And so that's what I want to do on a walk in the way in which Jesus walked the best that I can. And if we can get a nation that is more like that and going that direction and traditional family values, the way God designed things to be, not pushing an agenda that's perversion and, you know, that boys aren't boys and girls aren't girls and the baffa mentorship type of situations that are going on. And instead we're pushing wholesome, pure God honoring family values. Man, that would be amazing. And I think I really do think it can all happen pretty quickly. And I think it, at the government and the church and the people need to be all very involved because, you know, we've made the mistake of, you know, I know you know this, but we've made the mistake of being very apathetic for decades, staying out of the fight, generally speaking the church. And we, you know, we, and as a result, evil hasn't crouched encroached encroached and we're, we're hunkered down inside our buildings and our brands and not paying attention. And then before you know it, there's half naked men reading books to children and libraries. And we're like, what, what on earth is what just happened? How do we get here? Well, it's because we weren't, we just weren't, we weren't fighting. Yeah, I'm going to go down a list of issues here and just would love your, you know, two minute or one minute response, whatever you can't hear. Property taxes. Yeah, so property taxes. My plans to eliminate them entirely. We, you know, people talk about reducing, reducing, whatever. But again, when we, when we open up natural resources and, and pulling those out and, and taking whether it's a tax from the, from the mining or a royalty or whatever you want to call it, that would be way more and would be able to replace all of the property taxes. Public schools. Public schools. Well, we can't, we have a one and get rid of them, like altogether instantly. However, generally speaking, okay, generally speaking, I'm private sector guy. I like the ability for people to save their taxes and use their money to educate their children, how they would prefer. It is a moral atrocity for a, a teacher or a director of a teacher's union to stand up and say that when you bring your children to us, they become ours. That's ridiculous. That happened in the last week or two. If it, come it happened here, Idaho. Yes. Yeah. Wow. Yep. And so if, when I'm governor, somebody says that, I will do everything that I can to have them, you know, removed from whatever position they hold. Well, COVID. Yep. No, we can't take away people's constitutional rights and crotch on them and make demands. I'm very much for medical freedom and rights. You know, I'm extremely against mask mandates and even more so against vaccine mandates. People make the research and wanted to put something in their body and they're an adult, I guess they can do that. But no forcing, no pressure, no job pressure, etc. Self driving vehicles. I drive. I have one. So 8,000 miles in my Tesla cyber truck. I hope you're not going to rule me out voting for me because I have one, but. No, no, I'm totally about technology. Yeah. One of the reasons why I brought it up is not just because of self driving thing, but. And this is you could put AI in this category to where people are can be afraid or distrust innovation because it's going to take away blue collar jobs or something along those those kind of arguments. And my, my argument is always innovation might disrupt temporarily certain jobs and stuff, but in the long run, it always creates more jobs. So the combine absolutely interrupted jobs. But in the long term, it created more jobs. You know, textile manufacturing. Yeah, it took away sores, but it created more jobs on the other side of it. You know, so innovation, generally speaking, has always been good for an economy and actually in the long run creates more jobs and usually better jobs too. And the other thing I would add there is we, we who know that we are in a battle of good versus evil. When a new technology comes along, if the good doesn't grab a hold of it and learn it and use it as a tool, then they're going to leave them themselves subject to that being used as a power force over them essentially. So we need to get out there and grab a hold of it and gain some safety and control of the situation. Yeah, that's good. States rights. Oh, yeah. So I'm big big for states rights. In fact, inside the state, you know, let's go as local as we can for most things when we can. And decisions need to be made locally all the way down to the family, you know, level. So again, going back to schooling, it's about the family with the family chooses, right. So we shouldn't make a law that goes against that I want if it can be done extremely local, let's make it local. That means that we don't want the feds involved in state matters. We don't want the state involved in county matters. Strong counties all together, strong Idaho. And I'm very much for that with the, by the way, the county budget when you add all the counties up together, they're one eighth the state budget. And that to me seems a little bit out of whack. Wow. Wow. You know, cattle industry in Idaho. So we need to promote that and support that is the beef prices are going up. It's simply as a supply and demand. And I think that we would want to figure out ways to allow for smaller local healthy farming and ranching to happen. And to have systems that are local. So instead of them having to feel pressure to put the beef into the national supply chain that they would stay in a local supply chain. That's going to be education, but then also setting up looking at this and say, hey, look, we don't have to let's figure out let's how to skip this national and what can we set up locally to make this happen. So the beef, the beef lands on our plate here that's from here. Yeah. Thomas massier president Trump. Oh, man. I always say, you know, people are concerned about Trump. I am too. And I say that there's, I have to admit, there's things I don't know. And so I never comment, I've learned enough to not comment on wars. Because you find out 20 years later that the war, you know, when I was cheering for whatever Gulf war or something like that, I find out 20 years later that there was reasons for it that weren't evident at the time. So I just don't, I don't, I, the best way I can explain is this. I have hope that we're doing the right thing for the right reason. I have hope. And if, if that's true, that means there's things I don't know. Yeah. No, I agree. I mean, I'm not in the situation room. Now, that now I would think differently if it was Biden, because I don't trust Biden. I have a little more, I guess, trust with Trump there, because he, he generally does what he does. He might say one thing and do another sometimes, but he generally does what he does. If that makes sense. No, I can kind of see a pattern there that I trust. I don't trust all of it, but I trust it enough to where, and also I know Pete Hegseth and, and, and, and, and, and a couple other people that are high up in the military. And, and so I just kind of have some trust there too. And then, but I also, I also know I ran, I mean, we're getting a little off topic here, but I know I ran has been trying to kill us for a long time. Right. I mean, they've been funding terrorists as well known funding terror cells. Like that's not even like a debatable, you know, are they doing it or not? We all know it. That's what they've been doing. Yeah, and I always read West Gaza and stuff like that. I think I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. And I'm not going to be able to do that. And I'm not going to be able to do that. And I'm not going to be able to do that. and I'm not going to be able to do that. And I'm not going to be able to do that. and I'm not going to be able to do it. And I'm not going to be able to do that. And I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm uncomfortable. And I'm not going to be able to do that. At this point, and I'm not seeing any reason. Reason, why not to? and filmed them and I found a massive amount of fraud. And so it, it's just scratched the surface. And the only reason I stopped doing it was because I decided at that point in time I need to run for governor. I asked the governor to meet with us and explain all this fraud and explain all this illegals and immigration and refugees and NGOs and all these questions. And he wouldn't meet with the people to answer questions. So that's when I was like, man, we desperately need somebody who's going to stand for what's right and true and expose all this nonsense. And I mean, there's so much corruption. It's crazy. Wow. Wow. Um, mayor of Boise. So yeah, I mean, I'm, I'm very much publicly against her. I, you know, somebody who is extremely for, uh, children, transgenderism is to me. I don't, it's about as wicked and evil as you can get. So I am like, I am, you know, I am an enemy of hers or she's an enemy of mine. And so just keep exposing, exposing as much as we can. And, um, and, and, you know, get, uh, we're, um, as soon as I get in, we're going to do a third party audit on every dollar from the state that's gone into Boise and the Boise mayor's office. How is governor, are you going to make North Idaho feel like we're part of Idaho? By showing up more often, I was up there. I've been up several times in my campaign and met a lot of people and shaking a lot of hands. There's definitely different, uh, concerns and issues, uh, with things in the different regions of Idaho. And so I intend to get fully familiar myself by being physically present, often at different places and being involved. And again, having those meetings where we invite the people to show up and, uh, and ask me questions in a public setting. And what I want to do there is I want to set up a situation that's so transparent that it, it means that temptation won't be there. So the our father, we say, lead us not into temptation. I don't want any temptation. So the, the level of transparency is going to be so transparent that somebody that would think of coming to lobby or bribe or whatever they're going to think of doing to the governor's office, they would know you don't do that. A governor fits Patrick's office. It's just not going to happen. So the, the temptation never even shows up. And, and when I set up these times where I know that I'm going to be exposed to the public, and they're going to be questioning me on the latest data center that is, you know, being negotiated in some area. And I'm going to give them the truth about who's negotiating it, which senators, which this, which that, which businesses and everything else. And if I don't have it, I'm going to put a lot of pressure on different people to make sure I get the truth so I can give it to the people. Yeah. What do you think are some issues that the governor can push back against federal encroachment in Idaho? So, I mean, most of our land or what is it? I think 80% or can't remember the number. It's a large percentage of our land is federally controlled. 60% 60. It's a large. I knew it was the majority. But so it's, it's just too much. And I don't, I want it to be zero or as close to zero as we can get it. And that means that we take control of servicing the land. No problem because we can make income off of it. We will do a better job than the feds will. We'll take pride in it because it's ours. And, and, and so then, and then that take, you know, we bring the mining in and logging and, and, you know, we shouldn't have a situation. I was in, I was in a salmon and they were telling me that their logging program is shut down still to this day. It took them 30 years. They shut it down and then it took them 30 years to figure out that it was not affecting the spotted owl, you know, so it had been shut down for three decades. Yeah. And still shut down because of that. And that's just, that's just ridiculous. And that's obvious, you know, that's obvious control and keeping an area or region or state from prospering by, by using, you know, these litigation or, or rules or regulations to stop that from happening. That's purposeful. That's purposeful, keeping people enslaved as far as I'm concerned. Last question here. And how do you deal with the fracturing going on the Republican party and keep the Idaho Republican party from fracturing? Yeah, it's ridiculous. I think that's a tough one. I, I've witnessed it. And I'm, I'm actually not asking a lot of questions because I, it's a lot of it's pretty petty. Because you even have like conservatives where there's a group, different groups of conservatives that I actually think are very like minded. I'm not even talking about rhinos, which are just basically Democrats that are coming in. I'm talking about actual conservatives and they still have some divisions and petty disagreements and things like that. And so I think first and foremost, we need to expose people who are just clearly not even Republicans in the Republican party. They're just fakes, they're rhinos. And just keep exposing them to the public. And as we do so, I think that will help everything else. I think truth, truth is really the answer to so many problems. When you speak truth, evil people run a run. They don't want to be exposed. It's like shining the light, right? There's a lot of biblical examples of that. And so that's, that's exactly what I want to bring to the biggest extent that I can. Yeah. Well, so the primary in Idaho is May 19th. You have to be a registered Republican in Idaho to vote in our primaries. Now you will have, especially in Layton County, this happens where Democrats will register as Republican and the register back as a Democrat after the primary. Because they want to play with and screw the Republican elections. So for example, the Democrats would probably support Brad Little over Mark. And so they would, they would actually in Layton County, this will happen. They will register as Republican, vote for Brad Little and register back as a Democrat. You can see the data happen. Did you see the video of the communist that said, don't, he had don't vote for, he was like vote for Brad Little, vote for Brad Little. We don't want Mark Fitzpatrick in there. I didn't see that. Yeah. I know, I know it happens in our primaries because I was, I was running for County Commissioner back in 2020. So I knew, I knew that happened to me. Kind of thing, but yeah, life goes on. So yeah, our joke is that Brad Little is communist endorsed. So I take that back. I knew, I knew it. I was running County Commissioner. And no one was running against me in the primaries, but I saw it happen. I just want to clarify in my in my election. I'm not not specifically with me, though. I just want to clarify that point. Okay, Mark, thank you so much. Mark Fitzgerald Mark Fitzgerald. Where does Fitzgerald government? A lot of people do it. Don't worry. That is so weird. Dot com. Is that what, where do you like people to follow you at? So on on X, look at old state mark, because I own old state saloon. So look at old state mark there. As far as the campaign goes, Mark fits Idaho dot com mark mrk f it z Idaho dot com. And if you don't mind, I'll just say one more thing here. Please, please. What do you need to finish drawing, man? Yeah. So I want people to know that, you know, I never had thought about really doing this until November. I'm an outsider for sure. As far as politics goes, but I'm very certain that this is right. I'm very certain this is what God wants me to do right now. And, you know, there's some people who have said, you need to be a second generation Idaho and at least before you would run for such an office. And I would say to them that you have a third generation Idaho and in the office right now, and he is completely turning his back on the people of Idaho and has done a lot of horrible things. And we are definitely heading in a socialist direction under his leadership. For me, I absolutely love this state. I absolutely love the people of this state. And I'm just I just want to obey God. And that means that I am ready to be a servant, a total servant of the people and be that person who will be the tool of theirs to go in and get the truth and just provide it to everybody. So I would ask you guys to support me in this run. And that's going to mean that we need to call as many people as possible and tell them to get there on May 19th. May 19th, y'all. Mark fits with the z Idaho.com. Go check him out. You can get a sign. You can donate to his campaign. But help Mark finish strong in May 19th. Because May 19th again, you're going to end here. May 19th in the Idaho, the primaries are the only thing that really matter because whoever comes out of whatever Republican that is elected out of those primaries is going to win in November. That's just how it happens. There's no competition November for Republicans here in Idaho. Maybe a couple districts and down on the Boise area for legislative districts. But statewide, it's it's Republican down ballot in November. Help Mark May 19th. Thanks a bunch for coming on. Cross-poll. Thank you. Thank you guys for listening. Make sure you guys share the show, especially your dear friends in Idaho. Get the word out with what Mark's doing. Support Mark and man, hopefully this really helps give Mark a good bump for May 19th. So you guys, thank you for joining Cross-poll.com 101. See you next week.
