- The Lets Play Podcast: Good morning, good afternoon, and good night. Welcome to the Let's Play podcast. Welcome to another Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough. We are just loading in. I think the last time we played we had just got to the ding crypt, which is where we are. It's loading in a bit still. Should wait for us to loot in here, so let's breathe deep and move. We'll ungroup these guys and see Fuck how I get in there. There's only the one button, right? That doesn't even show the buttons. I don't know, I don't know if we should go this way. Yeah, let's just get the fuck out of here. There's nothing here for us. Well, actually we'll go to this locked door. This heavy. Mr. Pick this door for me, please. 10. Gotta get the 10 here at plus 4 from Shadow Hearts. So we're looking at a plus fucking 10 right off the rip. And that's a 15. 23 on a 10 roll, which we succeed. Alright, we're coming into kind of like another room in the chapel it seems like. There's some seating in here. And some sarcophaguses. And then there's like a ginormous fucking Grim Reaper statue in this room. give me one second, I have to pause this real quick. A few moments later. Alright, we're back. Sorry, my cat was just fucking with the door. Alright. So in a room with a bunch of dead skeletons with these fuckers have. Scribes with swords. So much for the king of being my dear. Yeah, not really too much. Yeah, I mean who knows. another lock chest. Should we roll and see what's in here? of course. Lock pick. I got two thieves, tools left, with a DC of 12 here. And also like an opening. that's just begging to be ready. What the hell is this lagoon thing over here? that would lead me to my death. Interesting. Alright, so yeah, there's just like this pool. This chasm this area with some water, but we'd see what these what the sarcophagus has. a soul coin. Silver necklace, ring mail, armor, heavy. Interesting. And a bone. An iron coin. I prefer gold. I'm pretty sure these zap these skeletons come to life here. I failed to read the the fucking perception check though on that. I was like looking into this distance and all the skeletons are slowly rising. They look pissed. Alright. I'm glad it kinda spread everybody out. I kinda remember a couple things in this. I just remembered that there was a bunch of guys in this room. So we're gonna attack this scribe for an eighty-five percent Critical Miss. I hit the guy for four misses. To bring Dark Urge up and he's going to attack this guy for 85. Hits him for six. Alright, well. and he's gonna use fire bolt. my god, I have like no spells. I really need to do a long rest here soon. Hits him for two HP. Next is the enemy's turn. He puts the spell silence on Dark Urge and Shadow Heart. The skeleton makes an arm strike and misses. Sending Shadow Heart out. Sacred Flame Radiant Damage onto the scribe. Which I think it does double damage. It does not do double damage. Just hits him for five. The scribe tries walking past and Astarian gets an opportunity to attack and huts. I get hit for six damage and a ray of frost and a starion. And then Shadow Heart gets silenced again. One of the enemy skeletons dashes the Gale. I can't believe I was calling them fucking Gull last episode. Like come on now. able to hit this guy and not. So we'll hit him with the firebolts. And we killed one of the scrabs. That's what we're talking about. Come on. End turn. It's gonna be the dark urge. have him go this way. We're going to use piercing shot and try to shoot this fucking scribe. And I hit him and his silence goes away, so Shadow Heart should be able to cast a spell right off the rip. we could do Ray of Frost or Firebolt, I think. We're going to do a shove, shove this guy back. So that way we may attack him. And I missed. this fucking warrior's got 28 damage. Holy shit. I mean 28 health. One of the scribes hits Shadow Heart for six damage with the Raya Frostbolt. So we're gonna have to get a little bit of revenge on that one. So we're gonna move up. We had Shadow Heart jump. Sacred Flame right on this guy. Hits him for 3D HP. Not terrible. Not the worst news. one of the skeletons runs up to Gale and hits him with the unarmed strike. Upmaneuver them. We're gonna have a starian dash straight up to this fucker. And we're gonna step him in the back. For five damage. Whoosh wheesh. Sometimes the only way out is through. Okay, next up is Dark Durge. And we're going to shoot this scrub. Critical miss. What the hell? A rough temperature. I could use topple to knock this guy prone for 35% chance, but I don't think that's gonna hit. well. Firebolt, Ray of Frost. No, yeah, we'll use Topple. See if this works. Ray of Frost and Firebolt were both with a disadvantage. let's see if we can shove this guy back. It works. Next up is the scribe. Uses Ray of Frost on Shadow Heart misses. It is Shadow Heart's turn. She comes over to the edge kind of looking everybody down and she's gonna hit this scribe over here with the guiding. Cyper flame hits him for two HP. This is a pretty much a long fight. I honestly thought this would go a lot quicker. Starian, he's going to attack. We just got two skeletons left and hit some for nine damage. End the turn. Whoa, Dark Garage is getting a little fucking emotional over here. He's going to attack this tome, kills some. And to scribe it dead. I don't fancy their chances. And we're just going to attack. Miss Gale is no good. No good. No good. Sacred Flame on this guy. 60% chance hit and that's a five damage. The enemy has seven HP left, there's just one, it is his turn. Hits Gale for one. Is this Darien's turn? man. Bring out the cross built. Sh fifty-four percent chance to hit. And he is secrets lightning. Let's group everybody back up. They're unthinking to davers. Do any of these guys have any weak on them? They're all dead, right? Alright, let's go in this room that we just opened up and see if there's anything interesting in here. I'm pretty sure there's like a companion or something in here. That's curious. So effort to hide one sarcophagus. Ooh, the amulet of voices. God, they just killed that fucking guy. They killed the guy that was opening the door, and these three guys were begging to get her trying to hold the door open. But here come all these goblins. Sheet FOMA Alrighty then. Time for some combat. Ooh. Will. Suffer it sting. an adventurer. Alright, who's up first? Anastarian and Dark Urge. So we're gonna send this guy up. Hmm. Alright, and we're going to shoot. alright, we got just a couple of goblins over here. This one's a forty-pive percent chance and then what's this bow? Fifty-five. We're hitting him with the bow. Sneak at that. None of them are working, alright. So we're just gonna hit this guy one tracker. Hits him for 6 HP. He's got one left. One Dark Urge. Alright, Dark Urge, let's go. We're going to dash on him and just get him into the fucking thick of it. Need to find a way forward. Yeah, I know. Alright, next turn. So the enemies we got is a bugbear. my god, he just hit me for fucking 11 damage. But enemy-wise, we got a bug bear, one, two, three, four, five, six goblins, and then one ward. Ooh, we just got the fucking spell of rallied. Grants eight temporary hip points. Okay. I can get behind that. Alright, we're gonna do chromatic orb. We're going to do. So we could do either acid buffroes, which can knock them prone, electrical, poison, thunder. No, we're gonna do Yeah, we're gonna do frozen and we're going to try to use it on this goblin boss. Ooh, and it worked. So I hit one guy for eleven and he went d d d d down. probably just keep Gail right where he is. It is the Ward's turn, he bites one of the enemies, he misses. one of the main warrior guys he attacks. So it is now Will's turn. He jumps. man. I th he killed one guy. Attacked the bandit boss as well. The goblins are kind of firing some arrows. One of them hits Will and one of them misses Gail. It's the goblin boss's turn. He stands up, but It's not going to do well. It is now Shadowheart's turn. It's gonna do sacred flame on some of these goblins here. And that hits for six killing the goblin. Real will end turn. We're gonna go straight up to this bug bearer. Am I able to do a sneak attack? Yes I am. I can do a sneak attack on them. Misses. The what was this? Offhand attack hits for four damage that hit. Time to push my luck again. Alright, time for the drug urge. So we're is this okay, second wind is is a bonus action, which we're gonna do because we're sitting at 11 HP out of 22. Killed for four main weapon attack. We're gonna do piercing strike actually. See if he can't get a gouge. And that's a miss. Might as well use Axon Surge. And we are going to attack. 60%. Hits for 90 damage. And then we'll end turn. It's the book player's turn. He hits me for six. We're also doing pretty decent. We haven't lost anybody yet, which is good because I'm trying to keep everyone alive here. I don't want anyone to die. Using a fireball hitting one guy hit a goblin for five damage, he's got two HP left. It is the Worg, he's going to attack one of the guys. One of the guys attacks, kills the goblin boss, and then uses Action Surge and then hits the Warg for 9 damage. Will attacks misses A Goblin hits Gale for 4 damage and then a goblin hit Will for 4 damage. So we're I mean we're doing alright. We're doing alright. Sacred flame. Let's try to kill this goblin up here. He's dead. Hit him for six damage. He's done. He's done. and then we will move Shadow Heart up a little bit and then end turn. It is our ally's turn. He threw a fucking health potion at fucking Dark Urge. Like, bro's a fucking army. We are going to try sneak attack again for 60%. Misses. Alright, that's the end of your turn. Urge is just going to attack. Hits for eight. The guy's got fucking. Ooh, I can use floor. This is Bugbear's got two HP left. And he misses. Fucking bastard. Bugbear's turn hits me for eight. Our ally shoots the Bugbear in the back with an arrow, killing him. It is a Gale's turn. I'll flank. Use a firebolt on this goblin over here. Hit the goblin for eight damage and he's d-d-d- dead. end turn. We just got the ward left. He misses. Hits him for nine damage. Will throws another fucking health potion at Dark Urge. Like, I'll take a free health potion any day. Shadow Heart, she's going to attack the Ward. The Worg's got two HP left, and it does not happen. Our allies turn kills them. That was the last of them. Inside! That's what we like to see. That is like that's what we like to see. Alright, what's We can level up but let's let's let's loot all this stuff and then we'll see what everybody wants. some gold and some arrows. I mean bow and arrow. shit. Let's go see what all these mega fuckers have. I'm just glad no one died. Some javelins. A morning star. Okay, not bad. Goblin brawler, what's this guy got? Just more shit. This goblin leader. Ooh, gloves of power, sleight of hand plus one. let's put that on fucking Astarian. Like yeah. What about this warg? There's some meat. Okay, we got four more bodies left. Aim a blow at the human trying to knock him off his back of persuasion. War bonds won't bring those. You lost. Stop and think.
