Speaker 1: Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
• 0:08
Speaker 1: My Martin and you are listening to dad's bedtime stories. Tonight,
• 0:12
Speaker 1: we're going to jump back into the Cards of Power
• 0:14
Speaker 1: series and continue the preliminary rounds of the Deity level tournament,
• 0:21
Speaker 1: which I set up as one on one battles where
• 0:23
Speaker 1: Magnus and you will have to take on some other opponents.
• 0:28
Speaker 1: And I got a couple of great ideas that I
• 0:30
Speaker 1: think I'm gonna put in this episode, so let's check
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: them out.
• 0:35
Speaker 2: Him My name is Alan from Australia, and my suggestion
• 0:39
Speaker 2: for the Count of Power series is that in the
• 0:43
Speaker 2: Daily level tournament, you face again someone named Allen, and
• 0:48
Speaker 2: he has a book dragon and it's almost impossible to
• 0:52
Speaker 2: beat it until Bugnes uses his naughty attack. Thanks out
• 0:56
  Speaker 2: of your podcast.
• 0:58
Speaker 1: Great idea, Arlen. This one took me a lot of
• 1:02
Speaker 1: thought to think about how a book dragon might be
• 1:05
Speaker 1: a really good opponent for Magnus, but I think I
• 1:07
Speaker 1: got some really cool things down. I also thought that
• 1:10
Speaker 1: we'd probably have time for two battles in this one,
• 1:13
Speaker 1: so I took one more idea. Let's check it out too.
• 1:17
Speaker 3: My name is Connor Aldrich. To suggest a story suggestion
• 1:22
Speaker 3: for the Cards of Power series, and it's a karate
• 1:27
Speaker 3: chicken as an opponent.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: Great idea, Connor, the second opponent today will be a
• 1:34
Speaker 1: karate chicken. If you like the podcast, don't forget to
• 1:39
Speaker 1: rate us and review us on whatever app you're listening on.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: Five star ratings, particularly on Apple podcasts, make a gigantic
• 1:46
Speaker 1: difference to other people finding the podcast, so I really
• 1:49
Speaker 1: really appreciate those, as well as any ratings kind of
• 1:52
Speaker 1: anywhere you're listening. I also got some new submissions for
• 1:56
Speaker 1: my story and artwork contest, so thank you first of
• 2:01
Speaker 1: all to Caspian who sent in a story that I
• 2:04
Speaker 1: believe he dictated to some parents there and they sent
• 2:08
Speaker 1: to me. And thank you to JD who both submitted
• 2:12
Speaker 1: some stories and some pretty awesome pictures inspired from the podcast. Again.
• 2:18
Speaker 1: I'll be starting to put up some of the artwork
• 2:20
Speaker 1: onto I don't know my different social media platforms like
• 2:26
Speaker 1: Instagram and stuff like that, and I'll be picking a
• 2:29
Speaker 1: winner of both the story and the artwork competition to
• 2:33
Speaker 1: do a story with me. I believe in the last
• 2:37
Speaker 1: episode I said you had until April thirteenth to hand
• 2:41
Speaker 1: them in, but I, for some reason was going backwards.
• 2:43
Speaker 1: In my head, it really should be June thirteenth, So
• 2:45
Speaker 1: thank you to the Spotify commenters who pointed that out.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: I really appreciate it. And now it's probably time to
• 2:53
Speaker 1: get on with the story after a possible word from
• 2:55
Speaker 1: a pousible sponsor, of course, because unfortunately we need to
• 2:59
Speaker 1: keep the on around here. Now it's time to get
• 3:04
Speaker 1: as comfy as he can in that bed. Close your
• 3:07
Speaker 1: eyes and imagine yourself doing what the kid in the
• 3:12
Speaker 1: story does. You wake up inside a very luxurious hotel.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: You get up, stretch, and move over to the bed
• 3:24
Speaker 1: where Magnus is curled up like a little dragonling kitten
• 3:28
Speaker 1: or whatever. Ah. Time to get up already, he says,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: as he gets himself on his feet and stretches his
• 3:38
Speaker 1: back up in the air like a cat. You head
• 3:43
Speaker 1: down the elevator to the main lob you wear. You
• 3:47
Speaker 1: smell well, one of your favorite smells in the entire world,
• 3:53
Speaker 1: a complimentary continental hotel breakfast. You spend some time. I'm
• 4:00
Speaker 1: piling your plate full of all kinds of different breakfast foods,
• 4:05
Speaker 1: whatever sorts of things you like anyways, and then you
• 4:09
Speaker 1: head over to one of the screens, the ones that
• 4:12
Speaker 1: can tell you who you're up against next and where
• 4:16
Speaker 1: you're gonna battle. Please present your ID card, the screen says.
• 4:23
Speaker 1: So you reach into your card core and produce the
• 4:27
Speaker 1: glowing ID card in front of you. The screen scans it,
• 4:32
Speaker 1: and a schedule pops up in front of you. It
• 4:35
Speaker 1: looks like you have two battles on the docket today.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: The first one says it's against someone named Arlen. All right,
• 4:46
Speaker 1: it looks like it's actually happening in a few minutes.
• 4:49
Speaker 1: And the second one, a little bit later today is
• 4:53
Speaker 1: against Connor. There's not much of a break between the two.
• 4:59
Speaker 1: You quickly read over the details for the match against Arlen.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: It says it's in competition Building two, Arena three. You
• 5:09
Speaker 1: run outside through the main parking lot and look around
• 5:13
Speaker 1: until you see the large two sign over one of
• 5:17
Speaker 1: the battle arenas. You summon your magic wing card and
• 5:22
Speaker 1: blast across the parking lot as quickly as you can,
• 5:26
Speaker 1: landing in front of the door and allowing the wings
• 5:29
Speaker 1: to return to your card core as you enter. You
• 5:33
Speaker 1: immediately make your way to the registration desk. Will come
• 5:37
Speaker 1: your ID cod Please, you again produce your ID card
• 5:42
Speaker 1: in the air. The lady picks up a little handheld scanner,
• 5:47
Speaker 1: scans the thing and looks at a computer screen. Ah, yes,
• 5:52
Speaker 1: your battle is about to begin. You are in battle
• 5:56
Speaker 1: Arena three. It's just down that hallway to the right.
• 6:01
Speaker 1: You run down the hallway she's pointing to until you
• 6:05
Speaker 1: see a big number three over top of an elevator.
• 6:11
Speaker 1: You and Magnus climb on the elevator and it automatically
• 6:15
Speaker 1: closes and moves upward. When the door's open, you find
• 6:21
Speaker 1: yourself once again in an almost identical battle arena to
• 6:26
Speaker 1: the day before. They seem to be well clones of
• 6:31
Speaker 1: each other. There's already a referee standing in the center,
• 6:36
Speaker 1: and your opponent, presumably Arlen, standing across from him with
• 6:41
Speaker 1: a well a dragon holding a buck. You walk to
• 6:46
Speaker 1: the center, where the referee greets you. All right, then,
• 6:51
Speaker 1: welcome to your next round of the competition. I believe
• 6:55
Speaker 1: you two already know the rules. This is an instant elimination.
• 7:01
Speaker 1: Winner goes on to more rounds, and the loser, well,
• 7:06
Speaker 1: they don't go on at all. Any previously scheduled matches
• 7:11
Speaker 1: for after this one will be erased and reassigned. Now,
• 7:17
Speaker 1: I believe you two have already declared your battle partners.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: On one side, here we have Arlen, who has declared
• 7:28
Speaker 1: a deity level book dragon. I'm interested to see exactly
• 7:33
Speaker 1: what that is. And on this side, I believe you
• 7:38
Speaker 1: have declared a deity level fire dragon named Magnus. If
• 7:47
Speaker 1: you please make your way to your circles. You quickly
• 7:52
Speaker 1: reach o your hand and give Arlen a nice handshake
• 7:56
Speaker 1: to say good luck before walking to your circle. You
• 8:01
Speaker 1: step inside the circle and a force field is produced
• 8:05
Speaker 1: around you, one that can keep you safe from the battle.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: At the same time, the referee floats up in the
• 8:13
Speaker 1: air and produces a force field around himself. All right,
• 8:20
Speaker 1: if you two are ready, we will begin the match
• 8:25
Speaker 1: in three two one go Immediately, Magnus begins to transform
• 8:33
Speaker 1: into his deity level form, glowing and growing larger and
• 8:39
Speaker 1: larger and larger, until he's a very large black dragon
• 8:45
Speaker 1: with veins of pure sunlight energy across the battlefield. The
• 8:52
Speaker 1: book Dragon hovers up into the air with its wings
• 8:56
Speaker 1: spread wide and around him. Dozens of books appear around
• 9:02
Speaker 1: him and begin to circle slowly. Each one has a
• 9:06
Speaker 1: different symbol on it, one that looks like a flame,
• 9:10
Speaker 1: a lightning bolt, a tornado, a fist of stone, something
• 9:16
Speaker 1: that's maybe like a sound wave, a portal picture, a shield,
• 9:22
Speaker 1: and many more that you don't even recognize. Magnus lowers
• 9:27
Speaker 1: his head and digs his claws into the ground. Sunlight
• 9:33
Speaker 1: energy begins to pulse through his veins. Careful, Magnus, you say,
• 9:39
Speaker 1: I don't think those books are just decoration. I noticed.
• 9:44
Speaker 1: Magnus rumbles the book dragon simply smiles, but not a
• 9:50
Speaker 1: very friendly smile. One of the books snaps open. The
• 9:54
Speaker 1: page turns by itself at A blast of blue flame
• 9:59
Speaker 1: shoots from the book like a cannon. Magnus reacts instantly.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: He opens his jaws and answers with a blast of
• 10:08
Speaker 1: fire of his own. A roaring stream of golden orange
• 10:13
Speaker 1: flame slams into the blue fire halfway across the arena,
• 10:18
Speaker 1: and for a moment the two attacks push against each other.
• 10:24
Speaker 1: Then another book opens, a lightning book. A bolt of
• 10:29
Speaker 1: electricity shoots sideways, curving around Magnus's fire blast and striking
• 10:35
Speaker 1: Magnus in the shoulder. Magnus roars as sparks dance across
• 10:41
Speaker 1: his scales before he can recover. A third book opens,
• 10:47
Speaker 1: one that has a stone fist symbol on it. Chunks
• 10:52
Speaker 1: of rock rip themselves out of the ground and start
• 10:55
Speaker 1: to launch themselves at Magnus like boulders from a catapult.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: Magnus swings his tail and smashes the first two apart.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: He grabs a third using his elemental powers, shoving it
• 11:10
Speaker 1: off to the left, but a fourth one strikes him
• 11:14
Speaker 1: hard in the ribs and pushes him backwards. The book
• 11:18
Speaker 1: Dragon flaps his wings once and rises higher. The book
• 11:23
Speaker 1: spin faster around him. Ah, he says, annoying. Magnus growls.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: Then he inhales deeply. The sunlight lines across his body brighten,
• 11:38
Speaker 1: making the room hotter and hotter and hotter, before he
• 11:44
Speaker 1: unleashes a huge cone of pure sunlight energy directly towards
• 11:50
Speaker 1: the book Dragon and his little floating library. But just
• 11:55
Speaker 1: before the flames reach him, another book snaps open, a
• 11:59
Speaker 1: sho shield book of some kind. A glowing barrier appears
• 12:04
Speaker 1: in front of the book Dragon, and the fire or
• 12:08
Speaker 1: pure sunlight energy spreads across the shield like water hitting glass.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: The barrier flickers, but it holds. Another book opens. A
• 12:21
Speaker 1: windspell blasts through the flames, punching Magnus backwards across the ground.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: You start to worry, Magnus is strong, but this dragon
• 12:33
Speaker 1: is fighting with so many powers at once. You watch
• 12:37
Speaker 1: as Magnus charges. He leaps into the air, wings beating hard,
• 12:42
Speaker 1: and then flies straight down towards the book Dragon with
• 12:46
Speaker 1: his claws outstretched. Another book opens, a teleportation book. Purple
• 12:53
Speaker 1: energy flashes, and the book Dragon vanishes. Magnus slashes through
• 12:59
Speaker 1: empty air. As the book Dragon reappears behind him. Another
• 13:04
Speaker 1: book opens and a massive, invisible shock wave of sound
• 13:09
Speaker 1: blasts out. Magnus is hit from behind and sent crashing
• 13:14
Speaker 1: into the arena floor. Magnus pushes himself up, shaking dust
• 13:20
Speaker 1: and broken stone from his wings. I'm fine, he says,
• 13:26
Speaker 1: but he looks rather angry. He stomps both of his
• 13:31
Speaker 1: front claws into the ground. He pours out of them
• 13:35
Speaker 1: into the stone beneath the arena, and the ground begins
• 13:39
Speaker 1: to glow. Red. Cracks spread outward in every direction as
• 13:44
Speaker 1: the floor softens into lava. You grin, that's it now.
• 13:52
Speaker 1: He can't land, but the book Dragon seems perfectly happy
• 13:56
Speaker 1: to continue hovering. The wind book opens again, and a
• 14:02
Speaker 1: swirl of air shoots beneath the dragon, holding him in
• 14:06
Speaker 1: the air with absolute ease. Magnus narrows his eyes, and
• 14:13
Speaker 1: the book Dragon opens three books at once, fire stone,
• 14:18
Speaker 1: and lightning. A storm of attacks slammed down towards Magnus.
• 14:24
Speaker 1: He spreads his wings, wraps them around himself, and starts
• 14:29
Speaker 1: glowing with pure sunlight energy. Fire splashes across him, Lightning
• 14:36
Speaker 1: cracks into him, and stone shatters against his back. Having
• 14:41
Speaker 1: control of all of these elements, Magnus is able to
• 14:45
Speaker 1: hold firm for a moment until the Portal book opens.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: A glowing portal appears beside Magnus, another above him, and
• 14:55
Speaker 1: the stone chunks that had shattered against him are sucked
• 14:58
Speaker 1: into the first portal and fired out through the second,
• 15:02
Speaker 1: hitting him directly in the head. Magnus stumbles backward. How Magnus,
• 15:10
Speaker 1: if heat won't work, eh, maybe try freezing everything right,
• 15:16
Speaker 1: Magnus responds, and he sucks in a huge, deep breath.
• 15:22
Speaker 1: The ground below him hardens into obsidian, and everything becomes
• 15:28
Speaker 1: incredibly cold. As Magnus absorbs every single bit of heat
• 15:35
Speaker 1: that he possibly can, the books start to develop frost
• 15:40
Speaker 1: across them. Magnus reaches out with his mind to any
• 15:45
Speaker 1: water vapor in the air, crystallizes it into ice spikes,
• 15:49
Speaker 1: and launches them straight towards the dragon, but again the
• 15:55
Speaker 1: shield book pops out in front of him and covers
• 15:58
Speaker 1: him in a protection develayer of energy. This is getting old,
• 16:05
Speaker 1: Magnus says. As books start to swirl around him, launching
• 16:10
Speaker 1: attacks of all different kinds of elements, Magnus decides that
• 16:15
Speaker 1: he needs to try something a little bit different. He
• 16:20
Speaker 1: reaches inside himself. He connects with the power he's only
• 16:26
Speaker 1: used a little bit before, the power of lightning. He
• 16:32
Speaker 1: focuses all of the heat energy he's absorbed into the lightning,
• 16:37
Speaker 1: and instead of aiming it in any particular direction, he
• 16:42
Speaker 1: just lets it explode outward. Chains of lightning bolts spread
• 16:48
Speaker 1: from the dragon, crashing into various different books and then
• 16:53
Speaker 1: chaining themselves to other ones. Magnus forces all of the
• 16:58
Speaker 1: heat energy he possibly can into the blast as the
• 17:02
Speaker 1: lightning arcs from book to book to book. When the
• 17:07
Speaker 1: blast finishes, most of the books, with a single exception,
• 17:13
Speaker 1: drop to the ground. The only one still hovering is
• 17:18
Speaker 1: the lightning book itself, which seems unaffected for obvious reasons,
• 17:23
Speaker 1: but it honestly shouldn't be difficult. Now, Magnus begins to
• 17:29
Speaker 1: glow brighter and brighter until his entire body transforms into
• 17:35
Speaker 1: pure sunlight. Then he unleashes a blast of pure sunlight
• 17:41
Speaker 1: energy directly at the dragon. The one remaining lightning bolt
• 17:46
Speaker 1: shoots out in front, attempting to block the blast, but
• 17:51
Speaker 1: the blast goes straight through it and straight into the Dragon,
• 17:56
Speaker 1: breaking him apart into a bright blue form of energy
• 18:01
Speaker 1: that's reabsorbed into Arlon's card core. Well, I believe that
• 18:09
Speaker 1: is a match, the referee says, as he floats down
• 18:13
Speaker 1: towards the ground. Now, Arland, unfortunately you are out of
• 18:19
Speaker 1: the tournament this year, though I do highly recommend you
• 18:24
Speaker 1: try out again next year. That book Dragon of yours
• 18:29
Speaker 1: is mighty powerful to the winner. You're probably gonna want
• 18:34
Speaker 1: to double check your matches for this afternoon. Well, we
• 18:38
Speaker 1: do schedule additional matches in advance. They often have to
• 18:43
Speaker 1: be changed as people are eliminated. Oh and if you
• 18:47
Speaker 1: need to recharge your magical creature, there should be a
• 18:52
Speaker 1: hospital building nearby ready to do that. The shield around
• 18:57
Speaker 1: you disappears. You walk to the center, shake Arland's hand
• 19:02
Speaker 1: and pat him on the back. Have book Dragon's amazing,
• 19:06
Speaker 1: you say, Hopefully we'll meet each other again, Hanks Arlen says.
• 19:14
Speaker 1: You step into the elevator and go back down to
• 19:17
Speaker 1: the main floor. You immediately go over to a screen,
• 19:21
Speaker 1: scan your ID card and see that, well, you're still
• 19:26
Speaker 1: up against Connor this afternoon. That must mean he won
• 19:31
Speaker 1: his match. You and Magnus, who is now the size
• 19:36
Speaker 1: of a dragonling, once again, head directly for the hospital building.
• 19:41
Speaker 1: What are we doing here? I feel fine? You might
• 19:45
Speaker 1: feel fine, but you took a bunch of hits. I
• 19:48
Speaker 1: don't think we should start a new daity level match
• 19:50
Speaker 1: when you're not at one hundred percent. You respond, now fine.
• 19:57
Speaker 1: You head into the hospital building, where you meet a
• 20:00
Speaker 1: nice person at the counter. Welcome to the hospital. I
• 20:04
Speaker 1: see you have a magical creature that could use recharging
• 20:08
Speaker 1: and healing. Please step onto the platform. You gesture for
• 20:14
Speaker 1: Magnus to listen. He jumps up on a large, circular,
• 20:19
Speaker 1: technological looking platform and blue energy shoots into him. When
• 20:26
Speaker 1: the energy stops, he steps out of the circle and
• 20:29
Speaker 1: looks up at you. That was amazing. I feel like
• 20:36
  Speaker 1: I just slept for a whole day, and I don't
• 20:41
Speaker 1: know when to a spa or something. Can we do
• 20:44
Speaker 1: this again after maybe, buddy, let's go check out the
• 20:49
Speaker 1: next match. You head over to Building four and check
• 20:55
Speaker 1: in at the counter. You're directed over to Battle Arena
• 20:59
Speaker 1: number two. You make your way into the elevator, go
• 21:04
Speaker 1: up to the floor, then step out to once again
• 21:07
Speaker 1: see a referee and an opponent standing across from him.
• 21:13
Speaker 1: You walk towards them, and the referee introduces herself. Heh, welcome.
• 21:19
Speaker 1: My name is Betty and I will be your referee
• 21:23
Speaker 1: for today. I see the two of you have already
• 21:28
Speaker 1: declared your matches. On this side we will have a
• 21:34
Speaker 1: deity level fire dragon that apparently has other elemental powers
• 21:39
Speaker 1: as well. And on this side we have Connor and
• 21:44
Speaker 1: a karate chicken. Is that right? A karate chicken. That's right,
• 21:52
Speaker 1: Connor says, But he's now ordinary karate chicken. He's a
• 21:57
Speaker 1: deity level karate chicken. Connor's core begins to glow. Energy
• 22:04
Speaker 1: swirls out of it and forms itself into a well
• 22:09
Speaker 1: like an adult human sized chicken, wearing a karate gee
• 22:14
Speaker 1: and adorned with all sorts of martial arts weapons, two
• 22:19
Speaker 1: swords on its back, a bow staff, and one hand
• 22:24
Speaker 1: size tucked into its belt, nun chucks, ninja stars, everything
• 22:30
Speaker 1: you could imagine. Mar Car the karate chicken says, ah, okay, then,
• 22:39
Speaker 1: well to your sides, card holders, we will begin shortly.
• 22:46
Speaker 1: A glowing shield appears around the judge and she floats
• 22:51
Speaker 1: up into the air. You shake Connor's hand and then
• 22:56
Speaker 1: move across the battle arena into your protective circle. Energy
• 23:01
Speaker 1: glows around you, and Magnus steps out in front. All right,
• 23:08
Speaker 1: we will be getting in three two one. Magnus immediately
• 23:15
Speaker 1: transforms into his deity level form as the karate chicken
• 23:21
Speaker 1: draws both of its swords from behind its back and
• 23:25
Speaker 1: then takes on a come and get me sort of
• 23:29
Speaker 1: karate stance, holding one blade up in the air over
• 23:33
Speaker 1: its head and the other out in front of itself.
• 23:37
Speaker 1: Magnus takes in a deep breath and breathes out a
• 23:41
Speaker 1: plume of fire. The karate chicken well almost instantly disappears
• 23:49
Speaker 1: from the place it was standing and reappears beside Magnus's face,
• 23:54
Speaker 1: swinging the sword down and cutting him on the cheek. Now, hey,
• 24:02
Speaker 1: clearly it can move an incredible speed. Magnus tries to
• 24:07
Speaker 1: strike it with his claws, but again the karate chicken
• 24:10
Speaker 1: just does a sort of front flip over top of them,
• 24:14
Speaker 1: lands underneath spins in a circle and slices straight at
• 24:19
Speaker 1: Magnus's chest before jumping backwards across the arena. It reaches
• 24:26
Speaker 1: into its gee and pulls out a whole bunch of
• 24:30
Speaker 1: ninja stars. The karate Chicken starts to throw them towards Magnus,
• 24:36
Speaker 1: who responds by stomping on the ground and lifting up
• 24:41
Speaker 1: a huge column of earth and rock right in front
• 24:44
Speaker 1: of himself. As the ninja stars hit, they explode, blowing
• 24:51
Speaker 1: up the giant rock face, shooting rocks into the air,
• 24:57
Speaker 1: but Magnus doesn't hesitate. He rabs the rocks out of
• 25:01
Speaker 1: the air using his mind and wills them to fly
• 25:05
Speaker 1: towards the Ninja Chicken. They crash into the ground. As
• 25:10
Speaker 1: the Ninja Chicken begins jumping and flipping and well doing
• 25:14
Speaker 1: a whole bunch of ninja like moves to move out
• 25:17
Speaker 1: of the way. As he flips, he continues to launch
• 25:21
Speaker 1: ninja stars that explode upon contact. Magnus once again presses
• 25:27
Speaker 1: his claws into the ground. Heat energy pours into it,
• 25:33
Speaker 1: spreading all over the arena and melting the ground itself
• 25:38
Speaker 1: into lava once more, But instead of sinking into it,
• 25:44
Speaker 1: the Ninja Chicken just begins to glow some sort of
• 25:49
Speaker 1: aura peers around its body, and it stands right on
• 25:55
Speaker 1: the lava. Smoke continuously rises up from where it's feet
• 26:00
Speaker 1: hit the ground, but somehow it can walk on this stuff,
• 26:06
Speaker 1: like a martial arts master that can stand on hot coals.
• 26:11
Speaker 1: Magnus dives down into the ground, swimming through the lava itself.
• 26:18
Speaker 1: The ninja chicken takes on a defensive stance and begins
• 26:22
Speaker 1: to focus, ready for an attack from any direction. Columns
• 26:28
Speaker 1: of lava start to shoot up from the ground straight
• 26:31
Speaker 1: towards the chicken. One by one. It slices them in
• 26:36
Speaker 1: half with its sword, moving over to the side and
• 26:40
Speaker 1: taking on a fighting stance once again, But Magnus never
• 26:45
Speaker 1: shows himself. He stays in the lava and continues to
• 26:50
Speaker 1: launch attacks of rock and lava again and again. And
• 26:56
Speaker 1: while he does, the temperature in the room begins to
• 27:00
Speaker 1: rise hotter and hotter and hotter, until the chicken starts
• 27:07
Speaker 1: to look a little drowsy, a little heat exhausted. Its
• 27:13
Speaker 1: eyes start to close just a little bit, as if
• 27:17
Speaker 1: it's getting very tired, and the next strike of lava
• 27:22
Speaker 1: actually manages to hit it in the back, sending it
• 27:26
Speaker 1: flying across the arena. And crashing into another column of
• 27:31
Speaker 1: lava that shoots up from the ground and catches the
• 27:35
Speaker 1: little chicken, wrapping around it and solidifying in to obsidian.
• 27:43
Speaker 1: Then Magnus rises out of the ground, takes a deep breath,
• 27:49
Speaker 1: glows with pure sunlight energy, and unleashes a blast of
• 27:55
Speaker 1: mixed elemental force pure heat, ringed with rocks, lightning, and
• 28:02
Speaker 1: even air. They blast into the chicken all at once
• 28:08
Speaker 1: and wel It immediately transforms back into a bright blue
• 28:14
Speaker 1: energy and flies into Connor's card core once again. Very good.
• 28:22
Speaker 1: I believe that is a match. If you would please
• 28:27
Speaker 1: a terial magical creature to make the ground walkable again,
• 28:32
Speaker 1: that would be great. Uh, Magnus, you heard her right,
• 28:39
Speaker 1: Magnus says, pulling himself up out of the lava. He
• 28:45
Speaker 1: takes in a deep breath and freezes the ground, turning
• 28:50
Speaker 1: it all into obsidian. It once again looks nothing like
• 28:55
Speaker 1: it did when you two started, but well, you're sure
• 28:59
Speaker 1: they have some sort of car that can transform it
• 29:01
Speaker 1: back without an issue. Very good. I declare you as
• 29:07
Speaker 1: the winner, Magnus. Uh Cotda. Unfortunately you are disqualified, but eh,
• 29:15
Speaker 1: your karate chicken was quite impressive. I believe against many
• 29:20
Speaker 1: other opponents, it would have won the protective barrier around you,
• 29:27
Speaker 1: and Connor disappears. You walk to the center line and
• 29:32
Speaker 1: shake his hand as Magnus devolves back into his dragonling form.
• 29:39
Speaker 1: You exit the arena through the elevator and out into
• 29:45
Speaker 1: the main lobby, where you double check to see if
• 29:48
Speaker 1: you have any other matches for today. Nothing comes up,
• 29:52
Speaker 1: so you head back to the hotel area, back up
• 29:57
Speaker 1: to your room and climb in into your bed. Magnus
• 30:02
Speaker 1: curls up at your feet, stretches, and lays down, immediately
• 30:08
Speaker 1: falling asleep. You pull the covers up to your chin,
• 30:14
Speaker 1: close your eyes, and start to focus on your breath.
• 30:20
Speaker 1: With each breath, your muscles relax a little bit more,
• 30:26
Speaker 1: your shoulders fall away from your ears. Your arms and
• 30:31
Speaker 1: legs release any tension they have and sink down into
• 30:36
Speaker 1: the mattress. And with each breath, your mind begins to
• 30:42
Speaker 1: wander off to thoughts of new dreams and new adventures
• 30:49
Speaker 1: to come. Good night, everyone, mumm.
• 33:47
Speaker 4: An never Nion name Aco in New York more Minion.

  Speaker 1: No no
