- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, were picking up where we
- 0:06left off with the New York Times article talking about
- 0:09the relationship between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein once again.
- 0:14This article was authored by Nicholas Confessor and Julie Tait.
- 0:21Dress Sexy. In the early two thousands, guest mingled in
- 0:24the library or dining room of mister Epstein's Upper east
- 0:27Side mansion as their host held court. The women were
- 0:31beautiful and numerous, The men were older and few. Occasionally,
- 0:35one of the women would head toward the bedrooms, one
- 0:38of the men would shortly follow. But wait, I thought
- 0:40that there was no trafficking going on here. I'm sure
- 0:43that all these women, some of them under age, were
- 0:45doing it willingly. Right right. One woman, then a model
- 0:51and college student in her early twenties living in Manhattan,
- 0:54said she attended four parties at the mansion. She can't
- 0:57recall the names of most of the men she met
- 1:00at the gatherings, not even those mister Epstein directed her
- 1:03to take care of. At two of them recruited by
- 1:06Miss Maxwell and then abused by mister Apstein. She buried
- 1:10her shame and kept their secrets for years, but mister
- 1:13Trump's presence stood out. She told The Times. He was
- 1:16a household name, someone mister Epstein often bragged about to
- 1:19the women around him, yet also someone he seemed to
- 1:22compete with. It was like a pissing contest who had
- 1:26the most women, she recalled. She requested anonymity to describe
- 1:29her experiences in detail, saying she feared for her family
- 1:33safety after mister Trump said some of his critics could
- 1:36be executed for sedition. Yo. If that's the case, I'm fucked.
- 1:41If they ever set up the guillotines, your boys definitely
- 1:43getting his head chopped off. To people in the modeling business,
- 1:48men like mister Trump and mister Epstein were familiar part
- 1:51of the scene, wealthy men who use their money, clout
- 1:54and personal connections in fashion to meet the young women
- 1:57who worked in the industry. Two days a week, you'd
- 2:00be at a model dinner at a restaurant, said Heather Braden,
- 2:03a model and filmmaker, and there'd be these men we
- 2:06didn't know. Miss Braden, who now lives in Utah, said
- 2:09she often saw mister Trump and mister Epstein at the
- 2:12same parties. Or dinners during the nineties in New York
- 2:15and South Florida, including at Mar A Lago, which mister
- 2:18Trump converted to a members club in nineteen ninety five.
- 2:22And do all these people have motivations to lie? All
- 2:25these people that are coming forward. It doesn't make sense,
- 2:28and I highly doubt that these people are lying. Now. Again,
- 2:31it doesn't prove criminality, but it certainly strengthens the bonds,
- 2:35and it really puts into perspective why Donald Trump is
- 2:37so worried about the files being released and information about
- 2:40his time with Jeffrey Epstein becoming public. Even if there
- 2:44is no criminal acts, just this stuff alone is enough
- 2:47to tarnish you. Donald Trump knows that, and that's why
- 2:51it took people to drag them kicking and screaming to
- 2:54have these files unsealed. If there was nothing damaging or
- 2:57something that exonerated them, forget it. We would have had
- 3:00them the day he got elected, you know, like he
- 3:01promised to do while he was on the campaign trail.
- 3:04That would have been nice, huh. But I said it
- 3:06then and I'll say it again. There was never a
- 3:08chance that Trump was gonna release the documents because he
- 3:11knew what was in them. Each man cultivated relationships that
- 3:15in turn put them in proximity to young women in
- 3:17the industry. Mister Epstein exploited his close relationship with Les Wexner,
- 3:22the owner of Victoria's Secret, sometimes telling women he could
- 3:26get them meetings or bookings. Photographers or camera crews captured
- 3:30mister Epstein and mister Trump together at Victoria's Secret events
- 3:34in ninety seven and ninety nine. And not only that,
- 3:37but Les Wexner was way more involved than anybody likes
- 3:40to let on. I urge you all to listen to
- 3:43what Maria Farmer had to say about Les Wexner, and
- 3:46also listened to what Virginia said. Wexner is not some
- 3:50peripheral character here. He was a central component to Jeffrey
- 3:54Epstein's operation for a very long time. And yes, he's
- 3:58been credibly accused of taking part in the abuse himself.
- 4:01So I would think that less Wexner would be talked
- 4:04about a little bit more. Everybody talks about they want names, names, names. Well,
- 4:07there's a name for you. What have you done with it?
- 4:11Oh that's right, not a damn thing. All these people
- 4:13out here talking about we want names. Why don't the
- 4:15survivors give us names well, because when they did name people,
- 4:19nobody did shit about it, and then they got sued,
- 4:22they got threatened, they had their lives upended. So guess what,
- 4:26here's the novel idea. Why didn't the DOJ name names
- 4:29you know, do their job, mister Trump, but friend did.
- 4:32The Hawaiian Tropic founder Ron Rice, who told the Boston
- 4:35Globe that he would send models and pageant contestants to
- 4:38mar A Lago for parties at mister Trump's request. And
- 4:42John Casiblancis, the founder of Elite Model Management, who is
- 4:45look at the Year contest mister Trump sponsored and helped
- 4:48judge in the early nineteen nineties. For Mari Lago gatherings,
- 4:52groups of models were sometimes busted in from Miami, often
- 4:56with the help of mister Trump's friend Jason Binn, co
- 4:59founder of the society magazine Ocean Drive. Mister Binn did
- 5:04not return calls an email seeking comment. Of course, not
- 5:08last thing he wants to do is out Trump right.
- 5:10He knows what the results are if he does that.
- 5:14Tina Davis, who work with Ford Models in the mid nineties,
- 5:17said in an interview that her Ford booker instructed her
- 5:21to get dressed up and attend a party at mar
- 5:23A Lago in late ninety four, just fourteen and new
- 5:27to Miami, she was told to dress sexy. According to
- 5:30her mother, Sandra Coleman, who had accompanied her to Florida,
- 5:34eight or nine other models came along on the bus.
- 5:37All the girls were really young, Miss Coleman were called
- 5:40in an interview, some of them could have been in
- 5:42training bras like, come on, why are those girls going
- 5:47anywhere without supervision? Why are those girls going to these
- 5:50modeling events? And why are people like Donald Trump and
- 5:54the rest of these scumbags okay with it? When they
- 5:56arrived at mar A Lago, Miss Coleman said that her
- 5:58daughter was promptly had and did a glass of champagne.
- 6:01She took it away, but waiters kept offering more. Each
- 6:05time one of the middle aged men at the party
- 6:07approached her daughter, Miss Coleman would walk over and introduce
- 6:10herself as Davis's mother. During a trip to the bathroom,
- 6:14they ran into mister Trump's new wife, whom they had
- 6:16met earlier. Miss Maples clasped her hands. Miss Coleman recalled
- 6:20and looked her in the eye. Whatever you do, do
- 6:23not let her around any of these men, and especially
- 6:26my husband, she told Miss Coleman protect her. Well, that's
- 6:30pretty fucking scary. Huh. Imagine somebody said that to you,
- 6:33somebody's wife. That's when I'd be hitting the eject button
- 6:36and taking my kid directly home. Well, I'd never have
- 6:39my kid at one of these things anyway. But that's
- 6:41neither here nor there. But the second I heard that, shit,
- 6:45see you later, we're out. Miss Maples denied making the comment.
- 6:49I would always protect young women in any way I could,
- 6:52she said, but I'm sure I didn't specifically say that
- 6:54about my daughter's father. Mister Epstein was a frequent guest
- 6:58at Marlago parties. A woman who said mister Epstein trafficked
- 7:02her in the late nineties and early two thousands were
- 7:04called attending at least a half dozen of the parties
- 7:07beginning when she was seventeen and modeling during the winter
- 7:10fashion season in Florida. Mister Epstein showed up at several
- 7:14of them too. He always seemed to know about events
- 7:17happening at Mar a Lago, she said, even when he
- 7:20didn't attend, and he was always curious about her experiences.
- 7:24The invitations typically came from mister Binn and Ocean Drive,
- 7:28bidding the models to be Donald Trump's guests at mar
- 7:30A Lago. According to one invitation she shared with The Times,
- 7:35the parties were open bar and no one checked IDs.
- 7:37She said. Mister Trump was always all over them, she recalled,
- 7:42So nobody was checking id's and it was an open bar,
- 7:45and you have all these little girls there. That sounds
- 7:48like a fucking recipe for disaster. No. The woman provided
- 7:52a picture of herself and a friend with mister Trump
- 7:55at mar A Lago. She said she didn't remember whether
- 7:57she was still seventeen at the time of the picture.
- 8:00She has not previously spoken publicly about the meeting with
- 8:03the future president, and asked for anonymity because she feared
- 8:06retaliation from him or his supporters. Again, people are scared
- 8:10of that. Anybody engaging in that behavior is a coward.
- 8:14Anyone attacking these women for telling their story is a
- 8:17complete and utter piece of shit. During the nineties, both
- 8:21mister Epstein and mister Trump also forged ties with an
- 8:23up and coming modeling agency known as Next and its
- 8:27co founder of Faith Kits, who had become one of
- 8:29the industry's major figures mister Epstein sometimes seen around NEXT
- 8:34office meetings, according to Miss Braden, who was represented by
- 8:38an agency that merged with Next in the early nineteen nineties.
- 8:42After mister Epstein's death, several former employees told The Daily
- 8:46Beast that they had seen mister Epstein around the NEXT
- 8:49offices or taken calls from him after he was arrested
- 8:52in Florida for soliciting underage girls. He also donated money
- 8:57to a charity funded and founded by Miss Kates. Mister
- 9:01Trump attended NEXT parties in New York, according to a
- 9:04former model who was represented by the agency in the
- 9:07late nineties and said she once found herself seated near
- 9:10mister Trump at the agency's holiday dinner. The agency also
- 9:15sometimes sent models to parties at mar A Lago. Zoe Brock,
- 9:18a New Zealand model who worked for NEXT in Miami,
- 9:21said she was pressured by the agency to attend one
- 9:24of mister Trump's parties in ninety eight when she was
- 9:27twenty four. Once she balked, a representative of the agency
- 9:31offered to pay her a few hundred dollars to attend.
- 9:35Not long after, she said, she boarded a bus with
- 9:37twenty or so other models at mar A Lago. Each
- 9:40woman was given a red and white striped wristband advertising them.
- 9:45Miss brockfelt as meet none of the other guests, chiefly
- 9:48men in tuxedos were the wristbands. The women were made
- 9:52to line up and meet mister Trump. Yeah, very normal behavior. Okay,
- 9:57all you women line up, you have to meet me.
- 10:00All you little fourteen year old girls come over and
- 10:02say hi to Daddy Diddles. I had a glass of
- 10:05champagne and I immediately felt not well, Miss Brock recalled, adding,
- 10:10I thought my drink had been spiked. It was Miss
- 10:12Kates who brought her client, Miss Williams to the ninety
- 10:15two dinner where she first met Epstein some months after
- 10:18she made her Sports Illustrated debut, and it was Miss
- 10:21Kate's who brought her to mister Trump's annual holiday party
- 10:24at the Plaza that fall, where she ran into mister
- 10:27Epstein again and where mister Trump also vied for her attention.
- 10:31Praising her recent spread in the Swimsuit Issue. Miss Williams said,
- 10:36I think they were trying to get as high up
- 10:38the chain of models as far as they could. Miss
- 10:40Williams said they wanted the biggest prize and the most
- 10:43famous model. But it was mister Epstein, not mister Trump,
- 10:46to whom she gave her number. One day the following year,
- 10:50as she strolled down Fifth Avenue, mister Epstein proposed visiting
- 10:53his friend in Trump Tower. The real purpose of the visit,
- 10:56Miss Williams later came to believe was to play a game.
- 11:00Two friends stood talking in mister Trump's waiting room. She said,
- 11:03the real estate developer pulled her towards them and groped
- 11:06her breast wist in buttocks. Mister Epstein acted like nothing
- 11:10had happened after they left, though he flew into a rage,
- 11:13berating Miss Williams for letting Trump touch her. That certainly
- 11:17tracks maybe not with you know, the whole story, but
- 11:20the way Epstein would react. He did the same thing
- 11:23with Harvey Weinstein. I'm convinced that's why he walked me
- 11:27in there, she said in a recent interview. He thought
- 11:29I would punch him in the face or something, but
- 11:31I froze. A Trump representative previously called her allegations unequivocally false.
- 11:38Miss Kates departed next in November, after emails released by
- 11:41Congress indicated that she and mister Epstein had remained close
- 11:45for years after his two thousand and eight plea on
- 11:48charges of soliciting a minor. A NEXT spokeswoman declined to
- 11:51answer questions sent by email, instead sending a statement that
- 11:54the agency has never had a business relationship with Jeffrey
- 11:57Epstein or Donald Trump. Miss Kates also declined to answer
- 12:01specific questions. Neither Faith nor anyone associated with NEXT ever
- 12:06brought clients to parties or dinners for any inappropriate purpose.
- 12:10A spokesman for Kate's had said the women who attended
- 12:13four parties at Epstein's mansion in the early two thousands
- 12:17said she had first met miss Maxwell at a show
- 12:19during New York Fashion Week in two thousand. Miss Maxwell
- 12:23presented herself as a wealthy, well educated mentor, taking her
- 12:27to lunch and charity events. Eventually, she offered to introduce
- 12:31her to a friend, mister Epstein. She said, Miss Maxwell
- 12:34told her that he could help her achieve her dream
- 12:37of modeling for Victoria's Secret. The three met at mister
- 12:40Epstein's mansion that fall and talked about her career. On
- 12:44a second visit, she recalled mister Epstein and Miss Maxwell
- 12:47began touching each other, and then her She froze, I
- 12:50don't know if I could have moved if I wanted to,
- 12:53she said. Expecting an apology, she returned for a third visit. Instead,
- 12:57she said, mister Epstein warned her that in the mansion
- 13:01had recorded their encounter. He insisted she come to parties there,
- 13:06Terrified that her parents and pastor would find what had happened.
- 13:09She acquiesced the women at the four parties she attended
- 13:13didn't seem to know one another. The other men arrived individually.
- 13:16She recalled meeting mister Trump at one of the parties.
- 13:19She showed The Times a handwritten address book she kept
- 13:22in those years containing mister Trump's name and two of
- 13:25his phone numbers. Mister Trump did not act inappropriately with her,
- 13:29the woman said. And again it's important to note a
- 13:32lot of people are going to say, well, look, there's
- 13:34nothing incriminating here for Trump. I disagree. Maybe not incriminating
- 13:39as far as abusing people, but lying. And that's a
- 13:43big deal, especially if you're the fucking president of the
- 13:45United States. The woman said. She hoped the Justice Department
- 13:50would release redacted documents relating to her interview with the FBI,
- 13:54which took place in New York City in the summer
- 13:56of twenty twenty, she said, in which she mentioned mister
- 13:59Trum Trump's presence at the parties that same year. According
- 14:03to documents the woman provided, she was interviewed about mister
- 14:06Trump and mister Epstein by representatives of the Epstein Victims
- 14:10Compensation Program and later received a settlement another victim's fund
- 14:15handling claims against JP Morgan to settle allegations that the
- 14:18bank ignored warnings about mister Epstein's abuses also approved the
- 14:22woman for a settlement, so not alleged somebody that got
- 14:26money got a settlement and somebody that was involved. She
- 14:30has since filed paperwork to join a Florida lawsuit by
- 14:32more than thirty women, most under pseudonyms, alleging that the
- 14:37FBI failed to properly investigate reports of sex crimes and
- 14:41child sex trafficking by mister Epstein dating to nineteen ninety six.
- 14:46Government lawyers have asked a judge to dismiss the case.
- 14:50The government knew about Epstein, they were aware of his
- 14:53sexual abuse of miners and young women, said Jennifer Plotkin,
- 14:57a lawyer for the women, and because they did nothing,
- 15:00hundreds and hundreds of women were abused over twenty years.
- 15:03Miss Maxwell is serving a twenty year federal prison sentence
- 15:07for conspiring with mister Abstein to traffic underage girls. Last July,
- 15:11the Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche traveled to Florida to interviewer.
- 15:16She acknowledged mister Trump's social relationship with mister Apstein, but
- 15:19said that he had never seen the President behave inappropriately.
- 15:24A week later, she was transferred to a minimum security prison.
- 15:27Her lawyers are now seeking to overturn her conviction. That
- 15:31whole entire thing is one of the biggest tells that
- 15:34this is a cover up, The fact that she was
- 15:37moved it is incredible to me. It's something that should
- 15:41be a bigger problem to a lot of people because
- 15:43it really shows intent. There's no reason for Maxwell to
- 15:46be moved unless she's playing ball, and it's obvious she's
- 15:50not playing ball, at least not for the survivors. Maybe
- 15:53for Trump, but not for the survivors, not for us.
- 15:56So if you're looking for a tell, if you're looking
- 15:57for evidence of a cover up, there it is rewriting history.
- 16:03In the early two thousands. Mister Epstein now extraordinarily wealthy
- 16:06and well connected, seemed to grow less content with the
- 16:09anonymity he had carefully drawn around his life and his business.
- 16:14In two thousand and two, practically inviting public scrutiny, he
- 16:17arranged a fly with former President Bill Clinton and a
- 16:20celebrity entourage on a humanitarian trip to Africa. Details of
- 16:25the trip were soon shared with The New York Post
- 16:27page six. Not long after New York magazine published the
- 16:31first major profile of mister Epstein, Mister Trump provided the
- 16:35headline quote, He's a lot of fun to be with.
- 16:38It's even said that he likes beautiful women as much
- 16:40as I do, and many of them are on the
- 16:43younger side. But sometime in the subsequent years their friendships houred.
- 16:47Exactly when and why is unclear. After the allegations against
- 16:52mister Epstein slowly began to emerge into view in the
- 16:55mid two thousands, accounts mister Trump and his representatives gave
- 16:59a their relationship and its end began to molt and morph.
- 17:04Mister Epstein was kicked out of mar A Lago for
- 17:06being inappropriate with a messuse or with the daughter of
- 17:09a member. Mister Trump had banned them for approaching employees
- 17:12or for being a creed. In other words, the story
- 17:15changes whenever it's convenient, and like usual, Trump's just trying
- 17:18to set himself up as some kind of hero. The
- 17:24first public signs of a breach came in two thousand
- 17:26and seven with an anonymous page six item, right as
- 17:29mister Epstein was negotiating a plea deal to resolve the
- 17:32first federal and stay charges against them. Mister Epstein, the
- 17:36Post reported, had been banned from mar A Lago for
- 17:39soliciting a messuse about eighteen years of age. The item
- 17:42appeared to refer to Virginia Roberts, who said she was
- 17:45recruited by Maxwell from mar A Lago' spa just shy
- 17:49of her seventeenth birthday back in two thousand, when mister
- 17:52Epstein and mister Trump were still close. Several years after
- 17:56the page six item, when Miss Roberts had gone public
- 17:59without lidations, mister Epstein wrote to Miss Maxwell expressing surprise
- 18:04that mister Trump had not gotten more attention, writing that
- 18:07his friend had spent hours at my house with Miss Roberts.
- 18:11Miss Maxwell replied that she had been thinking about the
- 18:13same thing in depositions in twenty sixteen, with mister Trump
- 18:18a leading contender for the world's most powerful public office.
- 18:21Miss Roberts said that mister Trump had never had sex
- 18:24with her and that she couldn't remember seeing him in
- 18:27mister Epstein's home. She died by suicide this April, and
- 18:32Virginia told me the same exact thing. When her and
- 18:34I talked about this, she told me the same thing.
- 18:38So I'm not going to sit here and make things up.
- 18:40I'm not going to sit here and tell you that
- 18:42I have proof that Trump was abusing people with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 18:45But what I will tell you is this, I think
- 18:48he's lied about the whole relationship, and I certainly think
- 18:51that there's a cover up under way. In two thousand
- 18:54and nine, mister Edwards, the lawyer representing a group of
- 18:57Epstein victims, set out to depose mister Dabstein's circle of
- 19:01powerful friends. In his book, mister Edwards wrote that mister
- 19:04Trump quickly agreed to a phone call. Mister Epstein was
- 19:07merely a business acquaintance. He told mister Edwards he cannot
- 19:11recall exactly why mister Epstein had been removed from mar
- 19:14A Lago. He said he had last seen him at
- 19:16the business meeting at mister Epstein's pom Beach home some
- 19:20time before the allegations came to light. The only reason
- 19:23Trump went on record is because they had the falling out,
- 19:26and Trump thought that he was going to be able
- 19:27to slam it home and cause problems for Epstein by
- 19:31having an interview with Brad Edwards. What you think Trump
- 19:33cared about the victims. No, he cared how he could
- 19:36use this information to his own benefit, the same thing
- 19:39he's doing now, but in reverse hiding the information because
- 19:42he knows it's damning against him. Even so, in early
- 19:46twenty fifteen, as mister Trump began exploring a presidential bid,
- 19:51stories about mister Epstein's widening legal trouble still referred to
- 19:55mister Trump as his friend. Mister Trump and his representatives
- 19:59became more of agressive. Mister Epstein was merely one of
- 20:02thousands of people who had visited mar A Lago. Alan Garton,
- 20:05mister Trump's top aide and lawyer, told BuzzFeed News he
- 20:09was even more definitive that following year, there was no
- 20:11relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump. Mister Garton told
- 20:15Fox News they were not friends and they did not
- 20:17socialize together. This is what I mean. This is what
- 20:22we should be focusing on the actual lies we can prove.
- 20:26If we do that, everything else is going to fall
- 20:28into place. When a reporter from the Associated Press asked
- 20:32mister Trump about mister Epstein in twenty fifteen, he responded elliptically.
- 20:37He was certainly a man about town, and because of
- 20:40the fact that is a small island, he got to
- 20:43know a lot of people, mister Trump said, referring to
- 20:45Palm Beach. When I started reading about the different things
- 20:48and then things were proven, that's a different planet, that's
- 20:51a different world. Interviews in public records, however, indicate that
- 20:56mister Trump at times had interacted socially with women. He
- 21:00kues mister Epstein and Miss Maxwell of grooming or abuse.
- 21:03The federal case against Miss Maxwell described her role in
- 21:07grooming three victims under the age of eighteen between ninety
- 21:10four and ninety seven. One of them, a woman known
- 21:13in court records as Jane Doe, alleged in a separate
- 21:16civil complaint that mister Epstein had taken her to visit
- 21:19mister Trump at mar A Lago in ninety four when
- 21:22she was fourteen. This is a good one, right, mister
- 21:25Epstein said, elbowing mister Trump playfully. According to the complaint,
- 21:29mister Trump smiled and nodded, and the two men chuckled.
- 21:33The victim said her case ended in a settlement with
- 21:36mister Epstein's estate. In twenty twenty one, testifying at Miss
- 21:40Maxwell's trial, she said she competed in mister Trump's Miss
- 21:44Teen USA pageant. Jack O'Donnell, who ran the Trump Plaza
- 21:47in Atlantic City for several years and later wrote a
- 21:50critical book about mister Trump, recalled in an interview that
- 21:53mister Trump once arrived at the casino after midnight one
- 21:56Sunday in September of eighty nine with mister Epstein and
- 22:00three young women. A state gambling inspector recognized one of
- 22:03the women as tennis star Gabriella Sabatini, who was nineteen
- 22:08and was too young to legally enter the casino. In
- 22:11a call that Monday, the inspector told mister O'Donnell that
- 22:14all the women looked very young, he said, soon after,
- 22:17mister o'donald called mister Trump to flag the issue. This
- 22:21is a repeating pattern here, Okay, Once or twice. You
- 22:24can write it off. This is a pattern and in
- 22:26my opinion, not so easily written off. Yeah, Jeffrey likes
- 22:30some young mister Trump, said, mister O'Donnell recalled in a
- 22:33recent interview too young for me. Mister o'donald previously described
- 22:37the episode in Slate. The White House called his account
- 22:40of fabrication. Efforts to reach Miss Abatteini were unsuccessful. Everything's
- 22:45a fabrication, right, Nothing's ever true unless it gives Trump
- 22:48a good light. Whatever the cause of their latest falling out,
- 22:52mister Epstein remained obsessed with mister Trump. In the years
- 22:56after their last known contact. He exchanged hundreds of email
- 23:00with others mentioning his former friend. As mister Trump's political
- 23:04career took flight in the mid twenty tens, mister Epstein's
- 23:07umbrage seemed to grow. Even as he maneuvered to regain
- 23:11influence within mister Trump's world. He mocked and criticized him
- 23:14in private, calling him nuts and evil beyond belief. According
- 23:18to emails released by Congress, he resented mister Trump's efforts
- 23:22to distance himself. The email's show his older, smoother, former
- 23:26friend seemed untouchable, while he was enveloped in scandals once again,
- 23:31as more and more victims came forward with their accounts
- 23:34of abuse. In an interview taped by mister Wolf in
- 23:37twenty seventeen and published by The Daily Beasts last year,
- 23:41mister Epstein described what he said was mister Trump's technique
- 23:44for trying to bed the wives of friends. Mister Wolf
- 23:47asked how he had such intimate knowledge of mister Trump.
- 23:51I was Donald's closest friend for ten years, mister Epstein replied,
- 23:55in emails, he hinted to friends that he could take
- 23:58mister Trump down. He didn't say how. All right, folks,
- 24:02Well that's the New York Times profile on the relationship
- 24:05between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. And I think they
- 24:09did a good job in connecting the dots here and
- 24:12putting things into context, because there's no doubt that Jeffrey
- 24:15Epstein and Donald Trump had a friendship that lasted for years.
- 24:19So for me, the real question is this, what did
- 24:23Donald Trump know and when did he know it. All
- 24:28of the information that goes with this episode can be
