  Speaker 1: 106.7 Atlanta FM.
• 0:01
  Speaker 2: Good morning.
• 0:01
Speaker 1: It's Cubby and Christine.
• 0:02
Speaker 3: Lots of entertainment news happening today on this Wednesday.
• 0:06
Speaker 1: You want to meet somebody? You can go down the street. Yes.
• 0:09
Speaker 1: You want new music from somebody? Something happening on Friday.
• 0:12
  Speaker 2: Guess who?
• 0:13
Speaker 1: Where do we start, Christine?
• 0:14
Speaker 2: All right. Well, let's start locally because we have a
• 0:17
Speaker 2: meet and greet opportunity with Joe Jonas today.
• 0:20
Speaker 3: Yeah. So we're located, not that anybody cares, but we're...
• 0:24
Speaker 3: We're in midtown Manhattan and we are not far from
• 0:26
Speaker 3: this location. We could probably just walk down there and
• 0:29
Speaker 3: be there in 10 minutes, but there's going to be
• 0:30
  Speaker 3: a line already.
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: Exactly.
• 0:31
Speaker 2: We'd be standing in line, Cubby. It's at Nordstrom Rack,
• 0:35
Speaker 2: which is located on 6th Ave and 31st Street. Joe
• 0:39
Speaker 2: Jonas is going to be there because he is the
• 0:41
Speaker 2: face of Kenneth Cole's cologne, Inspire.
• 0:44
Speaker 1: And by the way, you mentioned the line already.
• 0:46
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 0:46
Speaker 1: And he's only there for like an hour?
• 0:48
  Speaker 2: 6 to 7 p.m.
• 0:48
Speaker 1: A little narrow window there.
• 0:50
Speaker 2: And the first 100 people can buy a signed bottle
• 0:54
Speaker 2: and get a picture with him. And like we said,
• 0:57
Speaker 2: people are already lined up.
• 0:59
Speaker 1: But maybe they're up to 98.
• 1:00
  Speaker 2: You never know.
• 1:01
Speaker 3: Maybe two more people, then boom, you can be 99
• 1:03
Speaker 3: and 100 and get that bottle.
• 1:04
Speaker 2: And maybe you can at least do a drive-by. You
• 1:06
Speaker 2: can walk by and say, oh, I saw him. That's true, too.
• 1:08
Speaker 2: You know, something, anything.
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: That's cool.
• 1:10
Speaker 2: So that's your Joe Jonas sighting for the day. And yes,
• 1:14
Speaker 2: the internet exploded yesterday because Taylor Swift let us know
• 1:18
Speaker 2: that there is a new song coming on Friday. And
• 1:22
Speaker 2: the song is called Patient Zero.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: And people are already breaking it down. What could it mean?
• 1:28
Speaker 2: Let the Swifties go. Here's some of the theories they're
• 1:31
Speaker 2: coming up with, Cubby. It could be the dark counterpart
• 1:34
Speaker 2: to the life of a showgirl. Fan called it a
• 1:37
Speaker 2: sister album to the life of the showgirl. And it's
• 1:40
Speaker 2: the death of a showgirl. That's pretty intense.
• 1:44
Speaker 3: Now, what do you personally think? Because you're the biggest
• 1:47
Speaker 3: Taylor fan I know.
• 1:49
Speaker 2: I kind of like that dark side. Maybe, hopefully not
• 1:53
Speaker 2: quite that dark. But, you know, Life of a Showgirl
• 1:56
Speaker 2: was really up positive, upbeat. And then there was like
• 1:59
Speaker 2: a little hint, even in one of the videos from that,
• 2:02
Speaker 2: that this was coming. You're good. Like, to be patient.
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: You're good.
• 2:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, like if you.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: Be patient zero? Exactly.
• 2:08
Speaker 2: Be Patient Zero. She's hinted towards this for a while.
• 2:11
Speaker 2: People say it could be about her directing debut. Taylor's
• 2:15
Speaker 2: talked about wanting to direct a film. And maybe Patient
• 2:19
Speaker 2: Zero is her directorial debut, and this is a single
• 2:21
  Speaker 2: for the film.
• 2:22
Speaker 3: The thing I wonder, I know you don't know the
• 2:24
Speaker 3: answer to this, but is this one of those albums
• 2:26
Speaker 3: where she always mentions how she has so many extra
• 2:29
Speaker 3: songs that she has room for.
• 2:32
Speaker 1: To put on another album? Is this really, quote, new music? Like,
• 2:38
Speaker 1: as far as I know, when did she write it?
• 2:40
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 2:40
Speaker 1: We've never heard it.
• 2:41
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 2:42
Speaker 1: But maybe it was done three or four years ago.
• 2:44
Speaker 2: Oh, I don't think three or four years ago. But
• 2:46
Speaker 2: I kind of like these theories about maybe it was
• 2:48
Speaker 2: around that life of a showgirl time. And that had
• 2:52
Speaker 2: one vibe. And this is going to have another.
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: Well, no Friday.
• 2:56
Speaker 2: Last thing is, it could be a callback to, I guess,
• 2:59
Speaker 2: the L.A. Times when she first started dating Travis Kelsey,
• 3:03
Speaker 2: called her patient zero for emotional contagion. So she may
• 3:06
Speaker 2: not have liked that.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: Okay. So there is a lot to break down.
• 3:10
Speaker 2: So that could be something to do with the song.
• 3:12
Speaker 2: So yes, you were able to go on her site
• 3:14
Speaker 2: yesterday and pre-order and get ready to go. I can't
• 3:18
Speaker 2: wait to hear it on Friday.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: Friday here at Light FM. We got you.
