- 0:22[SPEAKER_02]: In your reach 6, 20, 6, or 6, to the amount of time.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's time for an episode of...
- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: building the Broncos Carl, these Broncos are built.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_02]: Man, I don't know what to say.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: First, number one seed, 14 wins this season.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: God bless, there's always tweaking to do.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: I love Sean Payton a little bit of a crumudge in there, but, man, what a time.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_02]: You and I have been together for a long time covering this team.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think since the prior to the 2017 bulls, draft and man, it has been, there's peaks in valleys, but there's
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: I hate always like talk about how rough it's been in front of Scott in the background because like covering the Falcons, it's it's a different world.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, but Man, I'm just so happy to be here.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: Number one seed.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: What a what a carefree, easy weekend.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: There's might be the best week in a football of the entire year.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: Everything is an island game and you got Thursday night through Monday night.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: Perfect.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: I am so looking forward to just sitting and watching football and not caring.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I care a whole lot who wins who loses.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's some matchups.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a little bit more worried about than others.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: I would say, of course.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: But when I look at this AFC tool, the one team I don't want to play is Jacksonville right now.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: And we won't be there's no chance of us playing them, no matter what, yeah, so the other, you know, the four or five, six, seven seed, all those teams I'm going, yeah, I like our chances against them.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so yeah, it's just going to be fun to sit back relax and and just have a week off and enjoy watching these other fan bases go into panic mode, it's really been funny to watch hatred fans go into meltdown mode of.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're the number two seed, we're this great team and, you know, all those kind of things.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: And so they lose.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be fun to kind of watch that meltdown.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: Same time charters, of course, they just they live in misery.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: And it would be fun to see them be like, oh, yeah, we get this great match up against the Broncos if we win this week.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then they don't win.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, see you later.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: So you see the Tony Jefferson, yelling at the camera while leaving the stadium.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: San Marco sec Broncos suck will beat him beat him in two weeks or whatever.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean God bless it.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: I mean I love the fire.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't fault him for that.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: I know some people like you know you will get mad about that but like
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, doesn't really matter.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_02]: He said that.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: And it brings a little bit of fun to it as well.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Alex Singleton didn't interview at the end of the art today.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you caught that as well.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: I always like to hear when the players have to talk whether it be press conferences or interviews.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: And talked about wanting to play the, wouldn't be upset against charges again, but the team that Broncos really want to play is the jags.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: So understandably, I mean,
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: You play whoever's in front of you and you got to beat him, but I'm excited to watch this team, but a really great, stress free week of football coming up here.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Let's say, hello, speaking of stress free in the chat.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: We got a string guy coming in.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of people don't understand is Peyton wants long sustained drives that burn a lot of clock.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: He seems to like low scoring defensive games for the first three quarters.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: Honestly, I like what you're saying string guy.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like obviously possessing the football is good.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that if explosive plays were there to be had constantly and touchdowns like every drive, he'd get them like you don't.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's Sean Payton's master plan to like have a long sustained drive and not score a touchdown.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: So I got.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: Perfect football is kind of like the Alabama Crimson Titan or Nick Saven when they were at their total dominance and like every single drive is really long and sustained and then your scoring touchdowns at the end and you're just possessing the football and taking the will out of your opponent on both sides of the ball like that to me, maybe I'm old school to that on to that sense, but I don't think Sean Peyton.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: The last two games have been his ideal sense of football overall.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's just been somewhat vanilla play calling and playing not to lose.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: Which to their credit, they didn't and they couldn't right for who they're playing.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: But there's plenty of things to to improve on and get better on.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that's the part there that I'm I'm trying to balance in my head.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, they've been playing very vanilla and not trying to give too much way.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: I, because the Broncos have been so good in the Red Zone under Sean Payton, you know, they've always been great about getting long drives until like the last like five weeks, but when they got into the Red Zone it seemed like they did score touchdowns.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: So the fact that they've been settling for footfield goals makes me believe that he's not calling his best Red Zone place.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: that he is saving some of those.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not like other teams haven't watched those plays before, but the less they're on film, the more teams have to go back four or five weeks to watch, hey, how is this team gonna play?
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: What are they gonna try to do?
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: The better it is of how much teams have to prepare for things.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm trying to keep that in mind.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, it's more, they understood only way we lose these games is give up, give up explosive plays, turnovers,
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: something happens on special teams, you know, those kind of things.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so if we just play turnover free football, control the clock, we're probably coming out with a win.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not pretty, I know people have been frustrated.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like my kids were like, Dad, because they were gone this weekend.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: They said, uh, we watched the Broncos game.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: And pardon me, wanted to say not really because it wasn't that exciting.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going to be a little bit not bored to tears, but like,
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't the most exciting game that we've ever watched together.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, a different touchdown turnover plus two, you know, like, you were two flips of the red zone drives like a way, like scoring seven instead of three from being the absolute tar out of that chargers team.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_02]: Now, granted, like, trailands look horrible.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: Delete all my trailands takes coming in the draft, because I wanted an athlete really bad at the quarterback.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's built like him.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: But
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: Those are games that's like hard to get up for even.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's as they were so talent, rich compared to their opponent.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, it looked like it on the field too.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like all the advanced stats, Denver beat the absolute heck out of the chiefs and the charters, they just didn't capitalize on all the opportunities.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: Which, gonna have to in the playoffs.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and I listened to a little bit of the single-to-nip interview earlier.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be talked about that, like they've been a little bit frustrated that they didn't get the best of the last two teams.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: and that they're excited to finally play the number one team, you know, the starters whenever whoever they play next.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I appreciate hearing that.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: I do worry a little bit that they've kind of gotten into this little, because they haven't had to play.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that they haven't played meaningful football.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: There are seven mistakes.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like, like, you know, like stakes for both teams.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: Are we the other team?
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like, the intensity hasn't been ratcheted up.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: And so I do worry about that just a little bit of all
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: Not a guaranteed win, but pretty much 99% of the time you're going to win that game.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden, boom, here you are, Houston, Pittsburgh, whoever, and they're bringing their absolute best in that game, coming off a wild card victory.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a little bit of worry there for me, but at the same time, Sean Payton has done a great job of having this team ready when they absolutely need to be ready.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: of pushing the right buttons at the right time.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not too worried about it, but it's still, it's just like the weird AFC this year, because I could make a case for all seven teams of why they should bake it to the Super Bowl.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe the chargers, just because they're going to go on the road for three straight wins.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: I doubt that that's going to happen especially with that offensive line.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: But the other six, I'm going, yeah, bills.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: You got Josh Allen.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: It would not shock me to see him go three.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: You don't mean it about the Steelers, though, right?
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, I really don't, but at the same time, they've had some big wins this year too.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: They've played good against some good opponents.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not gonna completely dismiss them.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time, if there was a team I'd like to play in the UFC divisional round, it would be Pittsburgh.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: Aaron Rodgers, there was a play against the Ravens, where he took off running.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: It looked like he could just run for an easy first down.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden, his gas tank just went, ooh, down to zero.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: And he just was just barely jogging along and the defense caught up to him.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, yep, that'd be fun for our defense.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: Have a quarterback that cannot run against them.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we've all looked like that before though, right?
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: We got Papa Bear coming in saying good evening, Broncos country $2 super chat.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_02]: Also, a member, make sure you guys are becoming a member.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much, Papa Bear.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you so much.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you're doing well.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you're having a great start at 2026.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: Again, have a very kick up your feet and enjoy this relaxing week of football.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: We also got George Fox coming in over on Facebook.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: If you guys are joining us on Facebook today, make sure you click the thumbs up, heart react.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_02]: We got a wow react coming in from film a gofflin.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_02]: I love you, Phil.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: Go hope you're doing well.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: He says do any guys think the Ravens coach could end up with the Raiders.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_02]: Anything's possible.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_02]: I guess john hardball is going to be really sought after we actually talking about it before the show kicked off the Raiders are pretty cash poor if that matters to any extent they're going to be paying 50 million I think this year for coaches that aren't coaching which is.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: We got a blossom.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_02]: Good for them.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_02]: They built a team where they don't even have to be good to Celtic it's because people fly into Vegas for nothing and get hotels for cheap to go.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, that's a, I think the Raiders are probably low unless he's absolutely in love with working with Tom Brady and
- 10:18[SPEAKER_02]: Mendoza, but that team, I mean, even though they have the number one pick and I think they have 10 picks in this draft, that offensive line is probably at least two off seasons away still like it takes some investment like the offensive offensive line typically is a slow burn, it can fall part quickly, but to build it takes some time normally.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, we'll see what happens with them, but I think the
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: Scott's mentioned that giants maybe he's just guarding himself.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to manifest John harbout to the Falcons because Arthur Blink has a lot of money and the south is obviously up for grabs and that's a pretty good defense.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: The Falcons have some good pieces out there, so we'll see what happens, but Raiders have pieces too, and maybe the allure of working with Tom Brady would be good.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: They said maybe Harba doesn't want that many cooks in the kitchen.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he wants a little bit more say where you're not going to have say Final say with Tom Brady in there with how much he's doing, but we'll see Yeah, I I debated this earlier or somebody because they were talking about they think that he's going to the Raiders and I said one I really don't think he wants to go play against his brother twice a year every year
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's kind of like Peyton Manning, when he was going into free agency, he looked at a couple NFC teams, but for the most part, he was looking AFC.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: He was looking hard at the, if you coming back to Harba, he was looking hard at the 49ers.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: Do you remember the weird machismo going on with like throwing the football on Harba sort of throw it like hard, like trying to like test him, like it was a weird thing.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: Harba's Jim Harba's a weird guy, good coach.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, and I'm not saying that he wouldn't have gone to the NFC if it was the best opportunity, but I do think that that blade into it.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: And, like I said, with Raiders, you've got pretty much two owners that are both going to try to have a voice with Tom Brady, as one of those owners, then the course there, they're main owner Mark Davis got, yeah Mark Davis, you've got spy tech that he's going to want to keep his powers, much as he possibly can as GM.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: You have a very depleted roster.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yes, you have a lot of draft picks.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you have a lot of free agency cash.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: You've got the number one pick, but you've got to build the offensive line, the defensive line, your best defensive lineman might not even want to be there.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: Next year, with Alex said he is, you don't have much of a secondary.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you've got a few nice pieces.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trying to say they're completely depleted.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, Bower is his great.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Jinty could be a really nice weapon, but there's just so much to rebuild.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: You've got Kansas City.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's been the the face of the NFL for the last six, seven years.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_02]: Not anymore.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's right.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: Kansas City.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: The throne.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Broncos now, number one seed in the F.C.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: You've got chargers who have made the playoffs have a very, very stable situation there as well with this brother and Herbert as their one-two punch.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I just think they have C.W.S.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's gonna be tough to figure out how you're gonna find success here.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: Even if you build a good team, it's still gonna be tough.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: to to build a perennial successful team you're in you're out.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying that you can't.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying it's it's a uphill battle and then you throw in they've had five coaches and five years.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like do you really want to walk into that?
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry that's it's about that brief for a second.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: Five coaches and five years.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_02]: Talk about the pit of misery.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: That is, that's pathetic.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: And they had to, like this, this go around, especially with aneptism going on with a carol, but man, that is, how can you build anything when you're firing coaches like that?
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: So like I said, it's just kind of a weird thing.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: But I just, that's a situation I'd probably stay away from.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the worst situation of all the openings, but it's not one of my top two or three, for sure.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know, it's one of my top two and three.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_02]: Every day of the week Carl, what's that?
- 14:22[SPEAKER_02]: Pizza.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, good choice.

- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: That sounds great.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: The Philly Cheese State caught my eye personally, and it was absolutely delicious.

- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: Got another super check coming in here from the Wauere Act to film a glaffon.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a good evening, Nick Carlin.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: Deacon Scott, sorry, Nick.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: I had a question by didn't type it up.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: Any report on bulls?
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, as far as I heard, bulls is an ankle was swollen.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_02]: Quite large.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: Look painful.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: Find the game, but he went back out there.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: And at his locker postgame, he said that they already had people at his house waiting for him to start the physical therapy treatment for him.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: And he said paraphrasing, but come hell are high water.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be playing in the play off.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: So 13 days, 14 days, 12 days, Saturday, Sunday, I don't know what it's going to be.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_02]: He has two weeks to get ready.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to play and crumb played Adam Robweep in his dead, but you, you're going to want Garrett Bulls who's in the all pro conversation.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: This season it left tackle to be there.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: So sounds like he's going to be good.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: The one who is haven't heard much about that.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm worried about his PJ lock.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: Not that lock is like a Garrett bull's level player, but you're picking at the same position here multiple times.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_02]: You're getting down and keep it also admirably as well.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: But hopefully everybody's healthy out there and four sides join the game again as well as bull's.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: So you got two weeks, you can kick your feet up.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: mentally take reps right you want to do that, but to hopefully everybody's healthy for the divisional round.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm also wondering, just talking injuries, like JK dopens, he, he was interviewed, some people were talking to him there at the stadium, and they said, hey, you're going to be back for the Super Bowl, and he said earlier.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now, a player is always going to talk that way.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's still gonna come down to the doctors saying you can go, but I have that limb hope that AFC championship game maybe he could be back and if we're playing the jags.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: that run defense, you need a guy that has good vision can actually go out there and make that kind of impact.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: So that would be great if he can be back, for a sprang of Jones, that's the game he could come back because they have C championship.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: That would be a big one as well, I think of, it was the Jaguar's game, 50% of the passing targets, either were against PJ Locke or Riley Moss.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: 50% in that game.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, Carl, I'm out to cut you off.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: 50% of my entire life is dependent on Chris Hernandez at this point, $200 super chat.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's a great stat, Carl, but even a better stat, $200, I'm from Chris.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, he said, I kept missing the show during the holidays.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos for breakfast is way too early for me, but I finally made it.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: Here's to a happy new year in Go Broncos.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay, Chris.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: We appreciate you.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: Not everybody can join at the early time, but this is a,
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: Merry Christmas.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: That is an unbelievable, unbelievably generous, super chat and happy new years, Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever you celebrate, happy Broncos miss.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_02]: God bless ya and go Broncos.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: This is a really, really generous, so appreciate your grace.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you're doing well.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: You've been talk about Carl and I've been here for a long time, as well.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: Chris has been here since like the first frickin' livestream.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: And coming in with super chats like the,
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I just want to continue that thought as well.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: Chris, thank you so much for that super chat.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: You have, I mean, you know, but it just means the world to us to get this kind of support.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, you've been here from the good old days of going through the tough times.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: And sticking with us through that.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: So now I'll get to celebrate the good times.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it really has been such a Nick and I came in at the worst time possible and Broncos history, maybe the early early years, the very beginning when they were just terrible, but
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: But for us, this tenure stand has been terrible.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: Let's same time.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: What has made it worth it is going through it with all of you guys, especially you Chris.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: So again, appreciate that.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the support.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm glad you got to catch us tonight for sure.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I see so many other people here in the chat as well.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: We've got other big time supporters, Patrick coming in, saying a low-ha, always appreciate that.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see Rich Rich coming in.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm in senior here for a while, so good to see it's been a hot minute for sure.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm trying to think of some others that have seen that were that have been here for for a long time and I got Paul.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, Paul coming here saying, though, geez.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, my friends.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see you Paul and appreciate to have you come in and support us once again.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, you guys have been here since the very beginning and I'm sure there's many others in here.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry if I'm missing.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: There's just a lot of comments and so trying to get to everything and everybody.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: Always a little bit tough to do, but hopefully we got Nick coming back in, maybe he's got his internet figured out and we can continue this talk of of what's what's going on with the Broncos and yeah Patrick say now he can pay his internet
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully, Nick, that's where your money's got to go now.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll see if we can get him back in here, but guys, but I didn't want to talk a little, we got some other things going on here with the Broncos this week.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: We've got pants Joseph being one of those guys that he has become a very big name in the head coach.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: Circles and what's going on, we know at least four interviews that he's going to be doing and I'm not sure if he'll have more than that as more openings have happened and and obviously some major things have changed John Harbott being on the market kind of changes the whole dynamic and and just the Baltimore job being open of who gets to go there who they're going to have kind of their pick of the litter.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: When it comes to which coach they want, you know, any coach going in has an automatic, you've got your quarterback figured out you've got an MVP level quarterback and a very good organization around you.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: One that doesn't fire coaches just because of one kind of rough year, you know, the gay parba quite the.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Quite the least to work with, and obviously he did well.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not trying to take away from him, but that was an organization that trusted him for a very long time.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: So, fans Joseph, you know, I love and hate this.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like I love it for the coach.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: I love that he is put in this work, he is fought through some very difficult times.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's, I hate to bring it up but the 70 point game gets Miami a couple years ago.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: and everybody was calling for him to be fired.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: And now he is one of the hottest names in coaching circles.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so the fact that he was able to go in front of the media, talk about how he messed up, how I mean, he took real responsibility for that moment.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that plays a big part of,
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: being able to support him in this kind of place and to to see him be a leader of men, a leader of the players, a leader of coaches, and honestly here in Denver, he did not get a fair shake as I had coach.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: I love John Alley, but there were sometimes where it kind of felt like he was a little bit more of a control freak than he needed to be.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: So he was hiring a first-time head coach in Vance Joseph, and pretty much when he came in, he told the answer, hey, we want you, but we are going to pick your staff for you.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: And to me, that's like one of the,
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: The worst things you can do, to me, if you are bringing in a head coach, you allow them to sink or swim by their ability, like you're hiring them for a reason, hey, welcome back.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, my internet's been so good for a long time, I feel like, you know, I see the jokes in the chat, but this has been, I'm connected to the ethernet, it just must have blipped for a second.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: It is really windy where I'm at right now.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for holding on the fort for a second.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: I saw all of a sudden.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_02]: I think Scott kicked me for a good reason, but again, Christian Andes, bless you.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: That's where I was at.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's to recap on what I was saying.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: But go ahead.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: You're talking about VJ.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was just talking about his journey to getting to this kind of point of going from, you know, fired from Denver.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I really don't think that was all in him.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't find a coat.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't find a quarterback for one.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't help.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't have his own staff picks.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: I just think there was a lot of things working against him.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: And then you throw in, he's coming in after the Broncos have one of their best four game or four year stretches in NFL history for any team.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: And then all said, it's like, OK, now you got to go do the same thing.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: First time head coach without a quarterback.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have the Hall of Fame or Peyton Manning help and cover up any kind of mistakes that happen.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_01]: And it was just set up for failure.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: But then you talk about the fact, like I said, first year here in Denver, pretty much me in told, like, hey, you're gonna run the last teams scheme.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: Even if it's not what you like to run, you're gonna run this.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then it gives up 70 points.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I kind of love this is where Sean Peyton's taken with them for one.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: And two after that kind of going, okay, you know what?
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: You do what you want it like, you go run what you're going to run.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to trust you with this and really pivoting as that season went on.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: And while it wasn't the best defense by any means, you saw the improvements as the year went on.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then last year, for most of the year, being a top five defense till the last about month and then everything kind of fell apart.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: There were some injuries and stuff.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then this year, I mean, obviously, like Broncos were chasing the sack record.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I've talked about this.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: They have a bunch of robins.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: Zach Allen, I guess you can call Batman.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: Benino is close to like you're talking about like, they don't have Hall of Fame.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_02]: They have one Hall of Famer on the defense.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right?
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's good.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and it just, and that's again, a showing of his ability to get the best out of all these guys.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Bonito, to see his growth over these last few years, Cooper as well.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: Zach Allen to really get into that now top five defense blindman talk.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: JFM, the seasons that he's been able to have here in Denver.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: He talk about the secondary Brandon Jones coming in.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: He was not a full-time starter.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: before he came to Denver.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: He started some games there for Miami, but he wasn't a, hey, this is a true blue big time starter.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden he comes here, he has a great season.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: And now he got from Funga and the building as well having the season, he is, he's another pro-woller.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's happy, like caliber, yeah.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then of course, like Riley Moss, yes, he's had his ups and downs.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: But let's say you've gotten the most out of him.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then just like I said, just the entire defense, looking at it and how they've gone from last year ESPN saying that they had the worst roster in football.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_02]: Was it ESPN or was it PFF?
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: One of them had it as the second worst one.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, either way, whichever it was.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: And for them to really have that flip of a switch like that, and like I said for this year.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm happy for VJ to go get these opportunities.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: This is happening right when we're in the middle of our playoff run.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: I get that they have a few days to go do the interviews with, you know, Payton's giving them a couple days off.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: but it's still taking away.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like your mind is focused elsewhere instead of here at the playoffs.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just thinking back to the 2014 season where Del Rio, Adam Gase, Ace.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, both those guys were getting interviews and it just when it came to the divisional round, it just felt like the Broncos were not in it.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: There was no passion, there was no excitement.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's no great game plan.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: I just was very disappointed when that looked like a Super Bowl caliber team.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I sometimes have a hard time with, you know, putting that much on a single game, because like so much randomness can happen in a single game, right?
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like so it's like, oh man, because if they got the too much rest, they've lost that game.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_02]: Well, a single game, things can happen.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_02]: One reason Peyton emphasized so much how important getting the by was because one game variance can occur.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: I've never really bought in too much to that.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's just kind of like people looking for reasons to point to other than you just got beat and that game and it just didn't fall your way, which football, I'll say a thousand times on the show.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's a chaos sport.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's why it makes it so good.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's the perfect equilibrium.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: match up with any a sport that there's that's out there.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_02]: But prevent Joseph.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_02]: I honestly don't mind too much that he's doing this right now like the players have off until Friday right and what are you talking about a two hour interview.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_02]: Who's the preparing for who's he getting matchups ready for all four teams that they could play next week.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: No, I don't know.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't mind it too much.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a good.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: These are champagne problems right if you have a good organization talk about having to replace these coaches long term.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's better than having to fire your staff and having to fill everybody out every time.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't really mind it too much.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if they lose and the defense comes out flat, though obviously be people who will point figures that bands Joseph are the defense.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: But you hope that you have enough leaders in that room, both of the players and the coaches.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: Why is that you understand what an opportunity that is is?
- 29:23[SPEAKER_02]: And he is still intelligent enough, well rounded enough, as a coach and a person that he can prepare
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: For a while, he's done it before right as well.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't really think it It takes away from the Bronco personally.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_02]: This upcoming season now if he had to interview and they're playing a game This upcoming weekend where we knew who our opponent was That's one thing, but the fact that the players aren't even going to be there until Friday as well like if he doesn't interview on What is it one hour or two hours zoom pre-living interview before they bring them in?
- 29:56[SPEAKER_02]: Good for him.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's nothing but a good thing for Sean Payton, Bands Joseph, and the Broncos team.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, obviously you could do some self-scouting, but you also want to have these people be put in positions to be promoted and achieve and grow in their careers.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: So I think it's a good thing, honestly, for the Broncos organization.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, for Bands Joseph, but for the Broncos organization as a whole.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and I like that they changed the rules, where now those coaches are not flying out during the by week to go do these interviews and flying all over the country.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, right now he scheduled for four interviews, where now that they have to do them for Zoom or whatever.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not, it's not as taxing on the guy where he's having to go do all of this and pretty much it's like four days of big time interviews and things like that.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not as big of a deal.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: said it always makes me a little nervous when somebody's kind of being split between two worlds.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, now I got to start preparing for possibly being a head coach and figuring out a staff and what are we going to do and yet I'm still over here preparing for a super bowl run.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just like I say, just that little bit makes me a little bit nervous, but at the same time, like I said, it's good for the Broncos.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's good for when you bring in replacement coaches.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: where you can point to and say, hey, look, we got people promoted.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: We got people moved to head coach positions, offensive coordinator.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of people talking to David's Web.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: Might be moving to a team here in a little bit.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so those kind of things, I think it only helps you in recruiting the next batch of coaches.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: This is a place that you get promoted.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: And we got William coming in saying, if VJ leaves, I hope he goes to the giants, it'd be a great pairing.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: him having that kind of defense of wine to work with, also having his pretty much his quarterback.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a little torn on that a little bit with Dart.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think he is a good quarterback.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: but I really worry about his longevity and the end of his own game is effect.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_02]: All right?
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: Jane now is built like a stick, but like protect yourself, buddy.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: You're talented.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: You don't gotta play every single game, like it's John L.A. helicopter against the packers in Super Bowl 32.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like protect yourself, live to fight another down.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: I'm what you do.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: I do wanna say a little bunch of people.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: in here.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: Dang, a very sports good to see.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: Happy Tuesday.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_02]: Did William was in the house.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_02]: Great to see William and be the ex test prep.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'm here to party.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: String guy.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see a mile high.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: Dutchy says hello, everybody.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: Vijay.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe gone.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_02]: Just like the players next man up.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this is it's good problems to have for this team.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we'll be covering a defensive coordinator search to some extent.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: Vander off coming in so they don't want to play the chargers again.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see you Jordan Lewis, evening everybody.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you, and good to see you Jordan.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, my high touchy is Albert Knoppers.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, so appreciate, oh, of course, our guy, Albert Knoppers.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: Carl have you been to Amsterdam before?
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: or a man, what a I'm doing the bike tour there was one of my favorite things I've ever done in my life.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: What a beautiful, beautiful country.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate you Albert, hope you're doing well.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: Ernie Mays is in the house.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: We got Keith in here too.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, Doug coming in, appreciate you.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_02]: Roy Osborne, Bowles, Miners and the Glynchee forcite.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully injuries are okay.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: I know what you're talking about Roy.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_02]: Roy has messaged me a few times.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's really excited to come back out for the mouth.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: I had a meet and greet next season.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that'll be a Super Bowl champion team where we'll come into watch.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: Then that would be awesome.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: Either way, they're going to be AFC West Champion.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: So, Lee Roy also always coming in helping us out saying hello.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: So it's good evening.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos can get their running game going.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: We're going hard.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to be hard to beat.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: Can't put the whole game in Bonix's hands.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: We have to be balanced on offense for us to have a big shot to go to the Super Bowl.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: Can't afford to be one dimensional.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: Looking forward to getting an increment.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: Brian, the ball more.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: Um, man, this is a little bit of a given take in this last game Carl for me because the Broncos did something I've been banging the table for all season, but they also lost their one thing I depended on the most.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_02]: They took the ball away.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: They scored a defensive touchdown.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I've been pissing and moaning about that since six the takeaways.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, every single week, they they they're not a great.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_02]: They're not an elite defensive.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_02]: They can't take the ball away.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_02]: Elite defense scores points, but like you can't take the ball away.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_02]: You're not you're not good enough.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Payton's also been saying that, so I feel a little vindicated there.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, anybody who looks at the numbers and watches football, but the offensive line falling apart this week.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_02]: That honestly is my one game sample size red flag, because just a mentor, he must have their number for one of the schemas, because offensive line looks like absolute trash.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_02]: And that's been the one thing I've could depend on this season.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's weird, the Broncos this year have two games where they allowed more than 40% pressure on DropX, both of them were the Charter's games.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: All other teams, Houston had one that was like 35% that's the next highest, and then all the others are a 30% or lower.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just such a weird why is this the one team that bothers the Broncos big picture Carl on this one just like beyond the chargers Makes me think you don't want to play the sea ox in the Super Bowl.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: I said that earlier to somebody.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay, because like that's the same scheme and they are it is way more talented way more talented on the defense.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, that would be I think that would be the worst Broncos matchup from the NFC.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_02]: Darnell might throw six picks though, so if you got that going for you as well, but they're defense.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: Bad matchup for the Broncos.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but good matchup.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: Phil coming in saying, do you guys think we will miss a step of VJ leaves?
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think Leonard can step right in?
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: That Phil said that.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think there'd be a little step back.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: VJ is, I think he's a very good coach.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: I
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: And there's always going to be a transition time with some of that.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've tried to make sure everybody gets on the same page.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: And Leonard has been a good defensive coordinator at the college level.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: And it feels pretty different.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: He was great at Wisconsin.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was, okay.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he was high level top 10 defensive coordinator in college.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: But it's a whole different ball game than I felt.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so the nice thing is it's not like the Broncos are really losing a ton of talent off the defense, so he's going to get the same level of talent.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think the blind backers are going to be the big question, one of the Broncos going to do with that position.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: And but I do think there may be a little bit step back, but I also think the offense is on its way up to so I think you could handle a little bit of a step back and still be a really good team now maybe Leonard does a better job with some of the secondary work of getting some of those turnovers.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a it's an up and down thing like it's a very it's high variance thing from one year to the next you've got a few teams that are very good like Chicago back in the day when they have a crazy.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, their defense isn't good, but they take them all away, but the what was the call that that like peanut told me and punch or whatever.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: The was so good yeah, the peanut punch was so good.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: That that's one thing I really wish we could figure out how how the Broncos have this many sacks.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this week was their very first strip sack of the season.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_02]: Carl said against Cammore to week one.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I hadn't go back to the fact check him.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember the time I had, but maybe Cammore.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, rookie playing the first game.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: But like, I've been screaming that all season two.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_02]: Carl, like you're hitting the freaking quarterback.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_02]: Swipe the ball.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like I know there isn't any practice.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's just bad luck.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't make any sense.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: So that's one area that I, the Broncos could be better next year where they're getting more turnovers.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: And part of it could just be who Fonga, working on catching the ball.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then we wouldn't be having these conversations.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: If you could catch half the past, that hit his hands.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know, we'll see, I like Jim Leonard.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: There's just always that whenever he loses a good coach,
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: How's that going to work?
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you look at Detroit.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: They lost both their coordinators and it's not like they didn't have some good guys to possible bring up and things like that, but there was still a drop off.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_02]: a handful of guys on this staff and on the offensive side of the ball because they've worked together as well.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: So again, champagne problems, like if you're winning in your organization is doing what the brokers are doing, it's going to happen, right, teams are trying to find the secret sauce.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm pulling for Vijay, but with interviews with him, it's been obvious that he wants that opportunity and he deserves it in my opinion.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 38:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's an if not win for him.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: And hopefully the Broncos and Sean Peyton what they've built here, the identity of the culture can continue on with fans Jose being on, but to answer the question, do I expect to drop off?
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: I do, but just because do I expect the Broncos to go at third season row, breaking their franchise sack record?
- 39:15[SPEAKER_02]: Probably not.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: Attrition happens, I mean, just,
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: As you mentioned, Carl, the offense, Bonix, getting better third year in this system, that's something that I think we can hope on as well, but do I expect the defense to be as good again next season, especially with the coordinator change?
- 39:31[SPEAKER_02]: Probably not.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_02]: Granted, you can find a clip of me saying, do I expect the Broncos to break their franchise sack record?
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: Again, this season, back in July, and I said no way.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: Here we are.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: So you never know, like, let's let a play out, but we'll see.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_02]: But either way, I'm happy, france, Joseph.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's going to do everything right though, too.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: Even with the interviews, be prepared for the playoffs.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: Mark Kennedy, good to see him, Mark says good evening.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: Go Broncos.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: We got our guy Richie Rich.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_02]: Coming to Richie Rich has been with us since.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: 2020.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: So God bless you out there in Canada.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you're doing well.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_02]: Always coming in.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: We got six, seven, six, three mark coming in as well.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: You're always coming in helping us out here.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Carl.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_01]: good for them.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: God bless them.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_02]: We got Patrick coming in here saying Aloha also Paul Paul's got a different name coming in here, but good to see a Paul because he says the OG so must be our guy Paul good to see a also unique pep prepping come in and says Carl and Nick Paul give me the hard time with my internet.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: We got my guess what's up Nick and Carl good to see appreciate you.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the dogs and time out.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just happy he's not looking where the sun doesn't shine.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to take that as a win as well.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: Greg Smith, good evening, Broncos country.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you're doing well.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate you.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, just starting to close up shop here.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_02]: Vance Joseph, do you have any spot where you hope he goes or hope he doesn't go?
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, I, I would hope he doesn't go to the rate, hers.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't want to forget him.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, he'd take quite a few of our coaches with him.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: I do actually expect Ben Stosif if he gets his quarterback to be a pretty successful coach.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think he, he has the right demeanor that you like within a coach.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and that can always change.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: Because Sean Payton, he's not the most likeable guy, but he's still a good coach.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I personally loved when he went after the media a little bit this last week and kind of called him out for writing bad things about the Brock is all year and here they are the number one seed.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: He keeps no, he keeps he's petty.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's very, very petty, but he's still good coach, but I do think man shows of he's a smart guy.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think if you give them a real shot, like I said, if you get them a quarterback, let him really run the things on the defense and kind of run the overall thing, I think he can do well.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: I do think the giants would be a great place for him.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's set up well.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the NFC East is very wide open.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: Eagles, yes, they won the division these last few years, but
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: They struggle this year.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not sure that you're going to be able to keep that band together.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to be doing hurts, believe her.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: And cowboys are, I don't know, they've got a lot of talent, but there's still a lot of missing pieces there.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: Washington, no clue what they're going to be.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: They just fired most of their staff, except for their head coach.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: We won't get into that.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: But he's not the Broncos.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there were people that were saying like this was the guy that was at the top of the Broncos list and he chose not to come here.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: And thank you for that.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for turning us down.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: We're down for us.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: And so, but like I said, I think that would be a good spot.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think he could have some pretty quick success with them.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: I.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think Baltimore would be a great spot as well.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be just mentor, right?
- 43:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's, I don't haven't heard anything, but just like the opening being there and how good they were defensively with McDonald and mentor being there fire and knowing the culture and having the relationships, the Michigan stuff, the Baltimore stuff, like it has to be just a mentor, doesn't it?
- 43:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think so, I think he would be a very high on their list for sure.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I don't know.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: There's just not a whole lot of great names this cycle.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's one in Baltimore, fire them, but oh yeah, okay, there is that guy.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just talking like last year, you had all these big been Johnson, Liam Cohen, nice guys, yeah, my label, those kind of guys that you're just like, oh yeah, I can see this.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: This year it's a lot of maybe.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we'll see.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_01]: And like I do like Van Stroes, but I do think he could be a good head coach.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: But I, and I think there's a couple really nice openings.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, I think the dryness is a good opening.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think Atlanta is a really good opening.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: Baltimore is a good opening.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'd say those three.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: And in the rest of them, it's like, oh, good luck.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm really hoping that the, also the other one name to keep an eye on is a Michael Flur, because there's been some talk that if the Packers are one and done in the playoffs, that he might be in trouble.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I think that would be silly, but also I think moving on from Harba is a little silly, too.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see what plays out.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: Personally, I'm hoping that he goes to the New York Giants just because I really like a lot of the infrastructure they have in place, and I think that John Mora is a
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: obviously it's one of the best organizations in football despite their struggles recently and they give their coaches a long road to succeed.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's a that's a really good one.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll keep an eye on what positions open.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean you never know another coach might be answering back in the pool here still because as we talked about before the show, Carl, there was seven teams that called on John Harbor's agent maybe more per atom shepter.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_02]: But there are only seven openings, including the team that just fired John Harba, which means that it has a coach is checking it on John Harba.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe dolphins, maybe Mike McDaniels also added into the fray here.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see or Todd Bulls.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: There's also some Tampa Bay.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_02]: smoke there as well if they could get Harba, but I think it's probably the dolphins.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm hoping for the giants as you are as well.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe it comes to past that, this is a lot of, you know, whoop-blown for nothing.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_02]: And Vance Joseph is back in Denver next season.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not hoping for him.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_02]: The Mara family.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_02]: They're saying Mara, you're correct, excuse me, shout out to them because he's a John Mara's fighting cancer, battling cancer right now.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll see what happens with vanstrosive, but I did have way to add one more question in here, Carl, before we get out of here, somebody asked, who do you want to, here we go Jordan Lewis, who do you guys want to see in the divisional round, I think we've talked about this a little bit, but for me it's pretty obviously.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_02]: The Steelers, they, they're offense runs through DK Metcalf and for Denver, when you have Sir Tan, just follow that guy, right?
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: And all these Steelers defense is good.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_02]: They're old and I think Denver can do enough to score points.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_02]: So for me, it's, I guess, pretty easily the Steelers of the team that you're hoping comes into Denver.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: Those wildcard teams.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, and I also talk a lot of bleep about the chargers, like I think they're offensive line is they don't have stars on defense, but frickin' mentor seems to have an idea of what Sean Payton wants to do and just so many unblocked rusheres constantly, they can't run the ball.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I want to snap the chargers personally, but I'm happy that they'll have to play the Patriots before coming here anyways.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think Steelers are right.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's probably the match if you want.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have
- 47:14[SPEAKER_01]: a great run game by any means, they're open to line is pretty good, but I think we could get some pressure in Aaron Rogers.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the Aaron Rogers' old, of course.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's not escaping anybody.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think you could go a little bit more aggressive with your past rush, that's how you're trying to get after the quarterback.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that plays better for guys like Bonito who really want to get around the edge instead of I know that they've been doing this like cage rush is what they call it or you're trying to kind of bring the pocket in on a quarterback and make them feel uncomfortable.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, you can just let them loose say Bonita go win around that edge, go hit that guy and like I said, but DK my calf, that's that's a great matchup.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: I feel very good.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's your chance going to handle that just fine.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then you can design the rest of your group to handle all those other guys and like I said, they have a good defense.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's going to be a great one by any means that you can go do a couple things and be fine.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not going to be the highest scoring game by any means.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: You might get out of there with like a 20 to 17 win, but I think you can walk away and feel pretty good about that matchup.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_01]: Probably the next one for me would probably be the chargers, just because of how
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think you'd be okay in that one, just Herbert, it's so hard.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm afraid if he gets that first playoff win, he's also going to have this confidence and just go crazy.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_01]: I have a little bit of worry about that, but at the same time, I do think the Denver crowd would just be going nuts for that game.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: And you don't have to worry about chargespans buying the secondary tickets.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of secondary tickets, I was like, oh, what is an AFC championship ticket cost right now?
- 49:06[SPEAKER_02]: Just curious, take a master car.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_02]: If you had to guess, what do you think of a ticket to get in the stadium would be on ticket master?
- 49:13[SPEAKER_02]: This was as of three hours ago.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_02]: $1,100.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_02]: $1,200.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_02]: $1,200.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_02]: We're sitting in the house, $1,200.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_02]: So if anybody has any tickets,
- 49:25[SPEAKER_02]: No, we got Biggie coming in, how's everyone doing?
- 49:28[SPEAKER_02]: And we're doing well.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: Better now that you're here, hanging out with us, we also got Glenn coming in from down under, says, extremely warm surf coast in Melbourne, day 110.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_02]: He's even converting to Fahrenheit for us.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of bless you.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_02]: Are you Celsius out there down under?
- 49:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: Really think the Ravens are great spots for Vance Joseph.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_02]: Really happy that there's talk of Dobb and the Creasonist workload.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe if the first playoff game.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's absolutely no chance that Dobb is playing that first playoff game.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe AFC championship game.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: And Jones and Dobbins watch, but Denver's got to take care of business first.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see the team Carl, I said this on Monday morning before we wrap it up here and get out of here.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think the team that I really like for a matchup like Denver winning Pittsburgh's probably the one, but for like just like Broncos hurtling a team that they need to bills.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a two for for me for this reason, Bill's because not only like they beat us last season, but Josh Allen kind of ghost that's been in Denver since they passed on him and he was right up the road in my own way.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: John, I, did you believe his interview where he said like he wanted him, but everybody else didn't, okay, I love you John, but I don't know about that.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_01]: He showed over and over again, he didn't always care too much about everybody else thought if he liked him, he was going to take him.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm yeah, I'm a little bit, uh,
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: sure done.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: I love you.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_02]: You're my dude, but okay, but anyway, I think the bills would be fun and also the bonus of that one is Jags would be eliminated in that case, which is the Jags, how they're playing right now, Trevor Lawrence.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, nobody's hotter than Trevor Lawrence right now in the NFL for quarterback.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see, but the bills coming to Denver would be freaking awesome.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_02]: That would be a hell of a game.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be really excited about that.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: It made me think of Zoolander.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: He's so hot right now.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: He is so hot right now.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody in the chat said something like that too.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_02]: So I got to give him credit.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know who it was, but he is.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's been just on fire.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: So don't put it on talent, folks.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_02]: Unless they're idiots, which Trevor Lawrence doesn't seem to be an idiot.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: But speaking for idiots, Carl, fun showed her day on any final thoughts before we wrap it up here.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: JK Dobbins, hopefully back for the FC Championship game.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what happens with fans, Joseph.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_02]: Good for him getting all these interviews just some of the nuts and bolts of that Denver would get two third round compensatory picks for him so they're like
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: They're not like, Denver to get third round picks.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: They're like in the hundreds, right, like 97 through 105.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think is the range, but still better than nothing.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, in 2026 and 2027, and those picks are tradable, too.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: So if Denver wanted to go move up for a weapon or defensive linemen or something day two, up and down the board, those picks are tradable.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: But string guy, how dare you doubt the Duke of Denver?
- 52:19[SPEAKER_02]: John always my guy, I love John.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_02]: I asked him a question before where he gave me a dirty look so I appreciate that memory as well, but, uh, you know, just he's he's going to say what he wants to say, not awesome.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_01]: All right, one final question before we get out of here.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because we we'd asked this last week.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now that we know where the Broncos are at, because like beginning of the season when we're putting our expectations on the Broncos, we kind of said make the playoffs win a playoff game.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess I count.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: not having to play in the wildcard round as they win.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you get a skip a game.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's what Sean Faiton said.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's the advantage of getting the by week.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: And it's a now where we are.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: What would you consider to be a let down?
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: Do they have to win the divisional round?
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: Or is it, hey, you've met my expectations before the season ever started.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good with where we're at.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think not winning will feel like a let down, but on the whole little still be a successful season.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_02]: Because you got that one seed, and I'm considering you already won your Wildcard game.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: To win the AFC West and to advance to the divisional round, like let's just put it that way rather than not winning to give it you've already advanced to the divisional round.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's a win on the season as a whole not granted expectations change as the season progresses and we gather more information.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is not a season with Patrick Gohomes or Lamar Jackson in the AFC.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: This is an opportunity and you have the one seed.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Denver's lost one game in the last what 16 in mile high stadium.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_02]: So to not win, that game would be disheartening and it would be a disappointment.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: But the season would still have been a success on the whole.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it have been a missed opportunity.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe leaning towards probably.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_02]: still has been a successful season, especially with the context of where this team was just three seasons ago.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we were in the absolute wall to Jericho for the lack of picks, the lack of salary cap, quarterback they didn't like.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_02]: Head, I mean, we're not too far away from Patrick or Patrick Starfish, clowning us on losing 6,000 to zero against the Rams or whatever that
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: would be disappointing to not win a playoff game.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm with, yeah, I think at the time went on and if you looked back and we lost in the divisional round, you'd still look at the season and say, okay, that was, that was something special.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Fortunately, yeah, yeah, winning the division when Chiefs have owned the division for nine straight seasons and like I said, getting the one seed, at this point,
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: At least for the next month, I would be very much let down if we don't at least make it to the FC championship game.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_01]: And my wife was asking me this question tonight at dinner.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, well, I think if we make the FC championship game, I can be happy.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, not the Super Bowl.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, well, of course, I want the Super Bowl.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_01]: My kids were like, Dad, what are you talking about?
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: You got to be thinking Super Bowl.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, okay, okay, I'm back in Super Bowl mindset.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: Don't worry, like, I just, I'm trying not to let myself down because this team is for a long time, that's where we've been.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so like I said, I'm trying not to get too excited but having that one seed, being at home,
- 55:51[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos have best chance they've had a long time to really make some noise and not only when they have C, but possibly when the Super Bowl.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm trying to, I'm trying to taper a little bit, but I'm trying not to let it get, I'm not trying to tamper myself too much either because this is a team to get excited about.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_02]: And we can still do that while appreciating the journey.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: So, we'll see what happens, one game at a time and enjoy this weekend.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like we said, start the show.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_02]: Thursday through Monday night.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_02]: As good as it gets I'm going to be my wife is traveling back to Iowa.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to be home alone.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_02]: Luckily the kids bedtime is before a lot of the game.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: So you bet you're asked college football semifinals while card round.
