- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to another great episode of Truth Be Told.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: I am Nikki, your host, and today joining me is our co-host, Bethany, and we are going to be talking to you about the truth.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And the truth comes from the Word of God.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: And today we are going to be continuing on with what we've been discussing over the past few weeks, and that is about prayer.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: And so I want to ask you something today.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I want you to think about this for a moment.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: What is your prayer life like?
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Where are you at in your prayer life?
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Is it stale?
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: Is it stagnant?
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Is it um intentional?
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Is it purposeful?
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Where are you at in your prayer life?
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Bethany and Bethany and I have been talking a lot lately about when to pray, how to pray, why to pray, what prayer does, um, prayer can um bring forth healing and um it can also bring on power.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: We talked last week about the power of prayer and how important it is that we understand just what prayer is all about.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And so today we're going to continue on with that topic because it's so important that if we don't really truly grasp and understand what prayer really is about, we're missing, we're missing a very important factor, and that is that connection that we want to have with Jesus Christ.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: We want to have that personal, intimate connection, and that's what prayer is.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: And I think of prayer to me, Bethany, I don't know about yourself, but I think about prayer being um like my lifeline to God.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's a direct lifeline, and sometimes it's like sometimes you know, I pull on God because I need him like right now, and sometimes he pulls on me because I'm going the wrong direction.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: You know, I really feel like it's a total lifeline.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: And um, I would never ever want that to be severed, ever.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: You know, I want that connection with God.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I think um it's so important that we understand that.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: It's not just something that we do as a repetition or routine.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Um something that we do in um our daily walk with God.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: It's so important.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: It's just like when you're talking to somebody in your family or a friend or a loved one that you have, you don't go through your life just not talking to them.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: You know, if you truly love them and care about them, you're engaging in conversation.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: And God wants that conversation with us.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: He wants to talk to us.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: He's always listening, he's always watching.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And um, I was reading something interesting this week that really got my attention and it made me think um about how people feel intimidated by prayer.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: They're afraid to pray in public, they're afraid to pray in front of other people because they don't think that what they say is gonna is gonna be it's gonna sound biblical or spiritual or or you know, uh I like the term that they use flowerly.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, well, we're not our our conversation, we're not supposed to sugarcoat it.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: It's not supposed to be something that we we can paint the perfect picture, and that's exactly what prayer is.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: And so that's why I love that we're gonna be going into um today's topic, which is the assurance of God's grace in prayer, because he understands this.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: He understands this.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: And when I uh was thinking about our topic today, I was thinking, man, God gives us so much mercy.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: You know, the two people that um went to pray, I believe it's in Luke, um, the Palaisine and then the tax collector, right?
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Or the Philistine, I'm sorry.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: They went to um pray, and the Philistine had this big elaborate prayer, like, you know, and it was all cushy and flowerly, if you want to call it.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: And and and the tax collector just said, God have mercy on me.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: That's all he said.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: You know, and it's crazy because sometimes we think that we have to we have to go to God and explain everything, everything to him, but he already knows everything.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: So sometimes I think we sometimes even waste time in our prayer life because we're wasting time trying to get what what we have to say to God when God already knows our condition, he knows our situation, he knows how we act, he knows our character.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: And so I'm excited about today's topic, um, the assurance of God's grace, because um as we're going through this lesson today, I want everyone just to keep in mind that no matter how you pray, um just remember that it is an intimate connection with God.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to be um it doesn't have to be formal, it doesn't have to be informal, it doesn't have to be um um flowerly uh as as I said earlier, it doesn't have to be sugar coated, it doesn't have to be um I I've I've actually known people that will um before church, knowing that they might get asked to pray, they they think ahead of time what to say.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, if I get called on to pray out loud, this is what I'm gonna say.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: But it's rehearsed.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: That's not really prayer, you know.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, it it's it's it's good to study it and understand what you're praying and asking God for, but if it's rehearsed, I feel like it really doesn't come from your heart.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's just made up because you're trying to make an impression on the people listening to your prayer, not to the one you're actually praying to.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: So I think that um and I think God also knows this, and I think that's why he knows we need a lot of grace.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: And I also think that's why um in Luke the tax collector was just saying, God, just have mercy on me.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And I think about that, like, God, just have mercy on me today, because like with everything we go through day in and day out, we we sometimes just will we'll just be like, oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And and and it can be really simple.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Our prayers don't have to be elaborate, you know.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: So I'm excited, um Bethany, for what you have for us today.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: So um I I I'm hoping you're having a good day.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Welcome in, by the way.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: And you would you like to start us off and say hello and then lead us into some prayer?
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Great to be here.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Um so looking forward to this time we have.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: But before we dive into it, let's pray.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Lord, I thank you so very much for this time that we have to further talk about prayer and just how you work through prayer and your assurance of grace and strength and help.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: And Lord, I pray is for those who are listening, whenever they are listening to this, Lord, that they would sense your leading in their lives, no matter what their needs are, Lord, no matter their desires, may they come boldly to you and seek you for what they need.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: Thank you for meeting with us, Lord.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: In Jesus' name, amen.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: Thank you for that.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: That's awesome.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: So I'm really excited about um the scripture that you have today, and so I'm just gonna let you take off with it so that we can share everything that you have to um share today.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Sound good?
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, all right.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: Well, on our last episode, we looked at um 2 Timothy 2 19 as one of the verses, and I want to start there again today because I do believe that it's important for us to recognize just who Christians are in regards to who God says we are.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: We sometimes get so caught up in who other people say we are, when we should be mainly focused on who God says we are.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: And so let's look at 2 Timothy 2 verse 19.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: The Lord knoweth them that are his, and that everyone that name it the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: And that to me is mightily important to understand that once someone becomes a Christian, they have a seal around them that no one is able to destroy.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Let that sink in for a minute that if you're a Christian, God has sealed you.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: God has so many wonderful blessings he wants to give to you as a Christian.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: Yes, he sees what's going on in the in the world, he sees your situation right now, and yet again, if you're a Christian, God knows you personally, intimately, and to me that alone should be enough for us to have confidence that when we pray we have God's grace, we have God's power, as we'll look at Paul at one of his experiences, and see how he knew that God's power was upon him and again, Christians let's really take time to understand the power of that.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: That God's power is upon us, and so as we think about Second Timothy two nineteen, to see that the Lord knows them that are his.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: And that's why we need to depart from inequity.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: But now let's notice Paul, one of his experiences, the Lord used him in mighty ways.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Remember though, that he started out as slow, he started out as one of the persecutors of Christians.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: He did all sorts of things against Christians, and yet God miracles saved him.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: And so now let's look at Second Corinthians twelve.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: And verse nine is where we're gonna really focus on what I would like to start in verse seven.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: Verse seven is Paul talking.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: He's talking about being prideful, I believe, being boastful in um what God has revealed to him about certain things.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: And so verse seven says, and lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Verse eight for this thing I besought the Lord thrice that it might depart from me.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: And then verse nine And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: It is that the power of God may rest upon me, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: And no matter what we're praying for, that grace is always there, always available.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Do we truly understand that?
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: Or do we think, as we've said, newer streams on these various episodes that God is up in heaven, just some old mean guy, and he's waiting through to throw um lightning bolts at us and all of that, and he's you know where we get that idea from, I'm personally not sure.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: Um, but when we truly take time to study Paul and others, um you know the wealth, the encouragement, the abundance that we can learn from the book of Acts, all the way to the book of James, and even within the whole New Testament itself, and then also in the Old Testament God's grace, do we truly understand what it means?
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: And I believe God wants us to learn, to study, to appreciate his grace.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: And so as we consider those verses seven through nine, as we see Paul's desire to not have this born in the flesh, whatever that was.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: Yet God knew that Paul needed it.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: Now maybe that's hard for people to understand, you know, how how can it be that God knows we need heart and why doesn't he just rescue us from all difficulty and make it so that eternity starts for us right now or right when we get saved?
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: God could do that, I guess, if he wanted to, but how much would we learn?
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: How much would we appreciate his grace?
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, I obviously none of us know Paul very personally, other than what's recorded in the Bible, and yet I do believe Paul is waiting for us in heaven, and that's part of eternity, and so we'll have endless time.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: No time whatsoever, no worry about time, just to be able to live and to get to know the people of the Bible more intimately and Maggie.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: Do you have thoughts on this?
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Actually, I do.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: This is a very deep, deep passage, all you know, these scriptures.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And um the purpose of the thorn was has been described as.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: A messenger of Satan to torment Paul, yet it was allowed by God because Paul was becoming conceited.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: He was becoming like he wanted more power and he, you know, he wanted that.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: So God allowed him, or Satan to give him a little message, and you know, he allowed him to suffer the thorn.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: So the thorn, you know, is is the message, but Paul prayed three times for the removal of the thorn, you know, and then he says, you know, my grace, you know, or Jesus says, My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made in perfect weakness.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: But what we take away from that is it when it signifies God's power and his and and that his presence is enough to sustain us.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: But yet sometimes we get conceited, and sometimes I think we need to poke in the side so we stop acting out because we think that you know we know more than what God already knows about us.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: That's where our conceit, I believe, comes from.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: And I think if we don't go through some of that suffering, that conceit can take us to the point where we start acting like the enemy.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: Look what look what Lucifer did when he wanted, he's like, I want to be a God just like you.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: He got conceited.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: That's where his um his um whole power trip came from is conceitedness.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: And so when God recognized that Paul was becoming a little bit conceited, and Paul was actually pretty conceited before he became Paul, because when he was Saul, he was super conceited.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: So um God was taming him and um through these messages, messengers from Satan.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: But anyway, um, it was important that um he had to go through the suffering so that he could he could see that no matter what, God was gonna oversee no matter what.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Um now Paul was smart enough.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Here's the difference between Paul and Lucifer.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Paul was smart enough to recognize that he needed the thorn of suffering to get over his his pride.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: It worked for Paul, it did not work for Lucifer.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: So, but that's where we need to look at it.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Um, even though Paul prayed three times and Jesus said, you know, my grace is sufficient for thee, my strength is made in your perfect weakness, because you're being weak right now because you're trying to be conceited.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: And um now that you're hurting and with this thorn in your side and you and you're feeling some pain from your your actions, God wants us to go through that so that we can realize that without God, we're not gonna have the strength, we're not gonna have uh the sufficiency that God wants us to have.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: Um and so we become weaker.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Sometimes when we become so conceited, we actually become weaker, not stronger.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: We actually, when we're conceited, we're considered weak-minded and not strength, you know, not in strength.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: So um he, you know, when he starts boasting in his affirmities, Paul, you know, and well, we didn't read um 10, but it says, Therefore I take pleasure in affirmities, in reproach, in necessities, in persecution, in distress, for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: So Paul actually recognizes that without the suffering and his weakness, he he could not, for one, he couldn't please God with that.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: You can't please God with that.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: But God was still sufficient, even though um it took Satan to put the thorn in the side, um, and Paul had to pray three times.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: It took him three times before he finally recognized what he was doing.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: And so until Jesus said, Look, you know, my grace is sufficient.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: That's all you need, you know, is my grace.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: That's it, nothing else.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Um, but once he recognized it, then he declared, he declared God's glory.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: And I love that.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Like he said, he he now takes pleasure in the infirmities, in repo, in reproach and necessities, in the persecution, in distress for Christ's sake, for I am weak, then I am strong.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: So he recognized that um without God there was no strength.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: And he needed to take pleasure in honoring the suffering that he was going through in order to gain strength from God.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: And I think it's it's a crazy this message can give can go really, really, really deep.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: But as far as gr where graces abound, we need to think about what um you know, staying on topic is that um even though God, I mean, Paul prayed three times, um, it literally took Jesus saying, Hey, my my grace is sufficient.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: It's enough.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: It is enough.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: You don't need anything else.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we think um prayer isn't the answer.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we think prayer isn't even enough.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we don't have enough faith in the God that we serve every single day that our prayers even matter, and that's where we get ourselves in trouble because that becomes our own conceited, our own conceitedness.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Because we're so conceited in what we think about God in a way, thinking that he is not going to honor his word, that's a that's a mindset of conceitedness, and we need to really, really pay attention to that because if we want God to fulfill his promises, which he wants to do, he's not not wanting to fill his promise, he wants to fill them.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: But if he sees that we are lacking faith and we were stepping out on our own cognizant, then we're gonna miss out, we're gonna miss the boat.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: So this is a really good message, but his grace is still there, it is sufficient.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Once you realize it's sufficient, you're gonna be able to handle anything at that point.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: God's gonna help you get through anything once you realize how sufficient his grace really is.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: So I think that's kind of what this scripture is talking about, um, you know, as far as like the message goes from Satan, um, and um how we can get really twisted.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: And I always compared this scripture to Satan because of the power that Lucifer, Lucifer wasn't smart enough, but Paul was.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Lucifer was an idiot.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: So I mean, he really, you know, as much as he's wreaking on havoc on the earth, which God has allowed him to do, um, he's an idiot because in the end we all know what happens.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: Yes, we all know the end of the story.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: So, you know, when it comes to that.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: But we need to be careful that we don't follow after Lucifer and we follow after Paul, you know, as we're seeking out God.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: I think that's really this scripture really um paints that picture of just how dumb Lucifer is and how um submissive and um how Paul really did understand what God was saying, that he needed God's grace, if that makes any sense.
- 29:15SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so um let's now look at one final passage for today, and that is Hebrews four.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: And again, there is so much truth within these chapters, within these books of the Bible, that we are wise to really take time to study from them and learn what God wants us to know and how to live and not only survive until eternity, but really thrive in this life.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: You know, some people may think, well, what's the point of becoming a Christian if all I all I'm trying to do is survive until eternity.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: And that that's not the right response.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: Right because God has so much He wants to give us even now, and um it's incredible to experience these lessons from and customs, and I would encourage listeners to take time to truly study.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: I mean once eternity starts for each of us individually, we won't have to worry about time.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: Time will cease to exist, and yet since we're bound by time now, let's use it for edifying ourselves for learning, studying for ourselves what the truth that God wants us to have, and God wants us to share with others.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: And so as we look here at Hebrews chapter four and noticing.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: Jesus the Son of God.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: Let us hold fast our perfection.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: Verse 15.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feelings, feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: And then verse 16.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: And in another episode in the future.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Um those are some verses that I will go over more in depth about, but I just wanted to read those because we see there that you know, when Jesus was here on earth during his years and it talks about in verse fifteen how that he was tempted, and he was tempted.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: Satan did tempt him, and he responded rightfully in each of those times, but verse fifteen should encourage us that yes, we may have different um experiences than Jesus had, but since Jesus was also tempted by Satan, that should encourage us that okay.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: We don't have to give in to Satan.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: So going back to Hebrews 4 16, why we can come boldly, why we can pray, why we can have the power of God on our lives through prayer, no matter what, if we're a Christian, Jesus is the example.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: Yes, Jesus is in us, but he gave us the example.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: Paul understood that.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: That's how Paula could say that he would rather glory in his infirmities, that the power of God, the power of Christ may rest upon him.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: That's why.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: And since God is the same now as he was then, since Jesus is the same now as he was then Christians that's our power do we do we understand that?
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: Do we appreciate that when it comes to prayer?
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: Do we appreciate the assurance of God's grace just as he gave Paul, just as he gave others back in Bible days.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: He gives us that same power.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: Again, as Mickey mentioned, you know, we we don't have to use flowery wording or any of that.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: What does Hebrews four sixteen say?
- 38:19SPEAKER_01: Let us come boldly.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: What does Jesus say in Matthew eleven twenty-eight?
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: Come Jesus and God are more concerned with us coming to them than they are about.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: Oh I have to say the right words, or I have to do this before I can come or really get emotional when I talk about this because trying to help people understand that all we have to do is come it's just the same thing.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: Do you have any thoughts on that?
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this is again another another area of great scripture, but of course the whole Bible is.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: But I like that it, you know, it talks about the the great pre the great high priest that passed into heaven, which is Jesus, and that um he walked um through the limitations and the trials and the temptations, um, the hunger, the grief, the pain, and he still remains sinless, um enabling him to truly, you know, it enabled him to truly understand and sympathize with what we actually struggle.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: So if we think Jesus doesn't understand, we're foolish because he does understand.
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: Um he experienced it.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: He he experienced it all the way to the cross.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: So if we ever doubt that he doesn't understand something, um this verse right here explains that that he does understand it.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: You know, he was touched with the feeling of our infirmities.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: What are our infirmities?
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: Everything that we go through is an infirmity.
- 40:55SPEAKER_00: So um no matter what we're facing, God has faced something similar to it.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: You know, even though his his um ministry wasn't very long, it was it it was very, very strong.
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: And I love what it says about come boldly unto the throne.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: If you think about, man, you know, how can I have a better prayer life?
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Come boldly.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: Go boldly.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: Don't don't don't sit around.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: If your neighbor's house is on fire, you run over there and you bang on the door, you're like, hey, your house is on fire, you you go boldly.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: You just you don't you don't wait around for it to be rehearsed or it to be you know perfectly worded.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: God doesn't care about the verbiage, he doesn't care how smart you are, he doesn't ever think we're dumb anyway.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: He created us, he doesn't think we're dumb, he thinks we're masterful, and so we cannot go to God and be like, okay, God, here I am again.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, woe is me, poor me.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: You know, we can't have the victimization attitude.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: God already sees, God already sees what we are going through, and he knows it, and he's been there and he's done it.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: And that's why he can relate with us, and that's why he does sympathize with us, and that's why God fulfills us with his promises, because when we go to God seeking out what he has for us, and understanding that he is sufficient for us, then he starts pouring his grace upon us because that's when we become humbled instead of proud.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: If we if we walk humbly instead of proudly, that that's a that's a form of being bold, by the way.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: Being humble is very bold.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: A lot of people think it's a sign of weakness, it's actually not.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: I I believe it's completely the opposite.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: When you're humbled before the Lord, you are you are coming boldly.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: Very boldly, actually.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: There's some people that go, I'm gonna go have a talk with God.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell God what I think.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: Well, well, good luck with that.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's you can do that if that's how if that's your method, and that's your your, you know, how you think that you know it should be handled, but I would recommend that you um you not, but just for the sake of that, because um that's again like talking back where Paul was acting, you know, conceited.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: Look what um God allows Satan to do.
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: He sent a little message of a thorn in his side to say, hey, knock it off.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: You know, because God sometimes has to get our attention.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: And um, like I said, there's a difference between being bold and being arrogant and conceited.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: We need to be careful, we need to understand the difference in that.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: And he wants us to come to him always, no matter what it is, with anything and everything.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: That is also um a symbolism of being bold.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: When you when you're not afraid to take whatever it is, even your mistakes, your faults, you know, God, I messed up today.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: I did this.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: Can you help me?
- 43:50SPEAKER_00: Like, like the tax collector said, just have mercy on me.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: The tax collector knew what a mess he was, you know, and the tax collector didn't sit down and go.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Like trying to explain it all out, either.
- 44:01SPEAKER_00: He just said, Lord have mercy on me.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: And sometimes we need to surrender at just that.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: And that's a bold, bold way to pray, too.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: And so that's why I like that we're talking about this because we can talk about it to the point where prayer, you know, prayer is super so it's so important with our walk with the Lord.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: Like I said in the beginning, it's my lifeline to God.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: Um, without it, I I would never ever want to feel that disconnection.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: You know, I wouldn't want it.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: And I don't wish that upon anyone.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: And and for our listeners to say, if that's you and you feel disconnected, come boldly.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: Come boldly today.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: Step out into grace today.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: God is already waiting for you.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: He's ready for you.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: There's never a time that God's not ready for us.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: We think we have to go get prepared.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: You know, we have to go, you know, get dressed up, we have to do these things, you know.
- 44:59SPEAKER_00: And um, there are things in the Bible that we need to learn.
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, we will learn obedience and we will learn um how to walk in righteousness once once we have salvation.
- 45:12SPEAKER_00: That is taught in the book of Proverbs and Romans and and throughout the whole Bible.
- 45:17SPEAKER_00: But the most important thing that you're ever going to have is your walk with God.
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: Your walk with God, not my walk.
- 45:24SPEAKER_00: My walk with God has nothing to do with your walk with God.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: They're completely separate.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: And the other thing is, is I can't save you.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: And when when I think about people that I love, like like you said, Bethany, it's hard because you just you want to sometimes I just want to grab them and be like, listen, listen to what I'm saying.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: It's so important.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: And time is of the essence.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: Right now, time is of the essence.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: We are running out of time.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: Jesus is coming back.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: Hell is a real place.
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: The lake of fire is a real place.
- 45:56SPEAKER_00: And yes, there are two different places.
- 45:58SPEAKER_00: It's going to happen.
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: When it says, when it talks about the high priest that has passed away, that made Jesus our mediator.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: He went to mediation on the cross for our behalf.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: He did that for all of us, for you and for me, for everyone that we love.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: We need to be telling people about it.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: And we need to tell people how they can get that relationship.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: And that's by coming boldly to the throne of grace.
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: I love this scripture.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: You have to go boldly to the throne of grace.
- 46:29SPEAKER_00: The day you step out to get salvation, that's coming boldly, by the way.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: My pastor, when he says, hey, if there's anyone here that hasn't accepted Jesus, today's don't don't go another day, let today be the day, you know.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: Right now.
- 46:44SPEAKER_00: Let's be quiet.
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: Anybody that needs Jesus right now, let's do it right now.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: Come, raise your hand.
- 46:49SPEAKER_00: Be do not be afraid, you know.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: And a lot of times we're afraid because, oh my gosh, someone might see me.
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: Well, you know what?
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: They're going to stand before the same exact God you're going to stand before.
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: And you better hope they're they're as bold as you're going to be the day you accept Christ.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: So be bold.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: Accept Christ into your heart.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: Ask Him to forgive you for your sins.
- 47:13SPEAKER_00: Pray to Him.
- 47:14SPEAKER_00: And pray boldly to Him.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: I think it's important that we understand just how seriousness this is.
- 47:28SPEAKER_00: So if you're like, oh, I pray, I pray all the time.
- 47:30SPEAKER_00: I pray all the time.
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: Like you get your phone and you're scrolling, you're like, oh, I hit the praying hands.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: I hit the praying hands.
- 47:36unknown: Woo woo, woo, woo.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: Look at me, look at me.
- 47:39SPEAKER_00: That is not prayer, folks.
- 47:40SPEAKER_00: That is absolutely 100% not prayer.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: And there's nothing honoring in that, by the way.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: Like I mentioned to you before, Bethany, that you know, I got convicted over a Facebook post one day for a gal that said, if you're not gonna really, if you're just gonna put praying hands and not pray, then don't bother.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: Please don't do, don't put anything.
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: And I was like, wow, that's conviction right there.
- 48:02SPEAKER_00: Because there were times that I would hit the praying hands, I'd be like, oh, praying.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: And I would think, I'm gonna pray for them later and forget.
- 48:10SPEAKER_00: I would forget.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: And I never prayed for them.
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: And then I'd be like, who was I supposed to pray for?
- 48:15SPEAKER_00: And then sometimes I would just have to say, God, you know who it was, so you know, forgive me for really not being, you know, assertive and Lord, Lord, you know who they are, so please help those people, you know.
- 48:28SPEAKER_00: But that's not prayer, that's nonsense.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: You know, and we don't want that.
- 48:34SPEAKER_00: We need to be serious about who our Savior is.
- 48:37SPEAKER_00: We need that lifeline.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: If you think about everyone that you're connected with, that you have a close relationship with, anybody and everybody that means anything to you, and that lifeline that you have with Him, could you imagine if all of that was severed and you had nobody but yourself?
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: How alone we'd feel.
- 48:58SPEAKER_00: We will never be alone.
- 49:00SPEAKER_00: Even if that did happen, we would never be alone because we would still have God.
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: And when we want somebody to come to our rescue and our aid, and they they can't make it, or they don't show, or they let us down sometimes.
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: God's still there, still there.
- 49:18SPEAKER_00: He's waiting.
- 49:19SPEAKER_00: I I always think about God's waiting room.
- 49:22SPEAKER_00: We need to do a message on that one day.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: God's waiting room.
- 49:26SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine?
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, we think we're waiting on God.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine how long He's been waiting on us?
- 49:35unknown: Yeah.
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: Just to come boldy.
- 49:37SPEAKER_00: He said, just come.
- 49:38SPEAKER_00: Just come on.
- 49:39SPEAKER_00: I want you.
- 49:40SPEAKER_00: I love you.
- 49:41SPEAKER_00: I welcome you.
- 49:43SPEAKER_00: Bring it on.
- 49:44SPEAKER_00: Let's go.
- 49:45SPEAKER_00: Like, what are you waiting for?
- 49:46SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: I always tell my kids, what you waiting for, Christmas?
- 49:50SPEAKER_00: You know, especially like the day, I love saying that the day after Christmas.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: They're like, wow, really?
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: The day after, you know, what are you waiting for?
- 49:56SPEAKER_00: Christmas, you know?
- 49:58SPEAKER_00: Get on with it.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: Let's go.
- 50:00SPEAKER_00: My daughter's like, rude.
- 50:02SPEAKER_00: But it's funny because if you think about it, don't wait until God comes back because then it's too late.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be too late.
- 50:11SPEAKER_00: You don't want to be standing in front of God.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess.
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: And you don't want it to be you that he points at and says, Depart from me because I do not know you.
- 50:27SPEAKER_00: Because we are telling you who he is, we're telling you how you can find him and seek out his word.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: Get into the word of God, get into a good Bible preaching, Jesus Christ preaching, um, church that is not playing games.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: Some of the churches now are playing games, and one of these days it's gonna be game over for them.
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: Sad to say.
- 50:57SPEAKER_00: We need to have discernment.
- 50:59SPEAKER_00: We need to be paying attention, we need to come boldly, we need to be paying attention boldly.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: What you said earlier.
- 51:05SPEAKER_00: We need to be really meditating on what God's word is and learn it and get it into our hearts.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: It says, you know, thy word that I hid in my heart.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: Why is that?
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: Why do we have to have the word hid in our heart?
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: Because one day our Bible might be taken away from us for good.
- 51:25SPEAKER_00: We live in a country right now where it's a privilege.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: There's a country right now that you'll get murdered if you have one sheet of the Bible, or if you walk into a church, they're gonna shoot you.
- 51:36SPEAKER_00: Because of their faith.
- 51:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm willing to die for the word of God.
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know about anybody else, but I'm willing to die for it.
- 51:44SPEAKER_00: You know, and and and I will die, you know, protecting my family.
- 51:48SPEAKER_00: I will die, you know, because I I I'm not afraid of death because you know what?
- 51:52SPEAKER_00: I know where I'm going.
- 51:54SPEAKER_00: And it ain't a lake of fire.
- 51:57SPEAKER_00: No, it's not hell.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: That's another topic for another day where we can get in and discuss the two.
- 52:03SPEAKER_00: Because I know that some people lately I've I've been reading that some people were like, well, is it the lake of fire or hell?
- 52:08SPEAKER_00: They're actually two different places.
- 52:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: At two different times, mind you.
- 52:13SPEAKER_00: So you gotta learn the Bible, you gotta understand it.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: And if it says to come boldly, go boldly, do what it says.
- 52:20SPEAKER_00: I guarantee if you take one passage of this Bible, this is just food for thought today.
- 52:26SPEAKER_00: If you take one passage out of this Bible, let it be this passage today in Hebrews 4 16.
- 52:35SPEAKER_00: Come boldly unto the throne of grace.
- 52:37SPEAKER_00: If you do that, just meditate on that through the next week, and you do it, watch God do something great in your life.
- 52:45SPEAKER_00: Watch a miracle happen.
- 52:47SPEAKER_00: Yes, He will show up, He will be evident.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: I I fully believe that, but we don't walk in that bold power that God has divinely given us.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: We take it for granted, or we're afraid of it, or we don't believe in it, or our faith is so weak.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: We don't have time to think about that anymore.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: We don't have time to think like that anymore.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: Just come boldly, just come on, let's go.
- 53:18SPEAKER_00: It's real simple, you know.
- 53:19SPEAKER_00: So, what are we waiting for?
- 53:22SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 53:23SPEAKER_00: It it it terrifies me when I look at my family and I look at my grandkids and I look at people.
- 53:29SPEAKER_00: I see people every day, and I and I don't want to judge, I don't want to be like, man, I think that guy's going straight to hell.
- 53:36SPEAKER_00: You know, I I but I sometimes because sometimes their their actions are showing that they're hellbound.
- 53:45SPEAKER_00: And it's like, man, how can I, you know, and sometimes I'll be like, God, help me to help me to talk to that person.
- 53:52SPEAKER_00: And and I just started talking to my neighbor over here, who's been going through a lot of stuff, and we've been talking a lot more.
- 53:58SPEAKER_00: Well, we've been talking since we moved in.
- 54:01SPEAKER_00: And lately we've had a lot more heart-to-heart conversations, and we we finally started talking about God lately, you know, and I'm just like, God, open the doors.
- 54:09SPEAKER_00: He's my neighbor.
- 54:10SPEAKER_00: We're supposed to love our neighbors.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see him go to hell.
- 54:13SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see any of my neighbors go to hell, but I don't talk to all of my neighbors.
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: You know, I come on here and I share the word across wherever our wherever this goes, I share it and I want it to be shared abroad.
- 54:25SPEAKER_00: But we also have to remember we need to step outside our front door and go talk to our neighbors.
- 54:30SPEAKER_00: Talk to our friends and our family and our loved ones.
- 54:33SPEAKER_00: Say, hey, where are you at with God?
- 54:35SPEAKER_00: You know, what's God been doing in your life lately?
- 54:38SPEAKER_00: And they may tell you nothing.
- 54:39SPEAKER_00: If they say God's done nothing in their life, then I'm you might want to question whether they're saved or not.
- 54:46SPEAKER_00: Do you agree with that, Bethany?
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: Yes, completely.
- 54:51SPEAKER_00: Because I think that if people are not, um I talk about God all the time.
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: People probably be like, can you just can you just chill with, you know, can you just I I honestly cannot, though.
- 55:03SPEAKER_00: I honestly cannot, because he's like my best friend, he's like my he's my father.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: And our pastor's preaching on our friendship with God.
- 55:11SPEAKER_00: That did you know Jesus is a friend of God?
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: Jesus is a friend of God as well as the son of God.
- 55:18SPEAKER_00: And it's so important that we understand God calls Jesus friend.
- 55:23SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 55:24SPEAKER_00: You know, and I want him to be my friend, just like I love I love my best friend.
- 55:28SPEAKER_00: You know, I love you, Bethany.
- 55:30SPEAKER_00: We've become pretty good friends, and you know, and I honor that.
- 55:33SPEAKER_00: I honor our you know, our friendship, and and I respect people highly.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: I don't take people, you know, we can't take people for granted, you know, just because of a dislike or or we're offended or or somebody says one thing that, you know, you know, chaps our hide, as my mom used to say.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: You know, we gotta be careful.
- 55:51SPEAKER_00: We need to be careful, you know, because the enemy will work on that.
- 55:56SPEAKER_00: You know, and we don't need God sending us a little thorn in the side because we're allowing it.
- 56:01SPEAKER_00: You know, we gotta be careful.
- 56:03SPEAKER_00: This is um some this scripture we could go into for a long time, but I I really encourage everyone listening and watching, just meditate on the scripture given today.
- 56:15SPEAKER_00: It is really good.
- 56:16SPEAKER_00: It's good, it's good word, great, great word today, Bethany.
- 56:19SPEAKER_00: And um God has so much grace for us.
- 56:23SPEAKER_00: If we if you think that God doesn't see you or God doesn't want you or God doesn't need you, please reach out to us and pray.
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: Ask for prayer.
- 56:32SPEAKER_00: We will pray with you.
- 56:33SPEAKER_00: We will pray with you anytime you need it, Bethany or myself.
- 56:38SPEAKER_00: Um, Bethany, will you tell our listeners what how they can reach you?
- 56:42SPEAKER_00: Even though it's in the show notes, will you just tell them?
- 56:46SPEAKER_01: Great.
- 56:47SPEAKER_01: Um my website, created in his image.com.
- 56:54SPEAKER_01: Um, there's dashes in between each word.
- 56:59SPEAKER_01: So created dash and dash his dash image.com.
- 57:06SPEAKER_01: Um I have many um resources available and opportunities to uh reach out to me.
- 57:18SPEAKER_01: Um and I would love to show any of you um what the truth is and what it can do.
- 57:33SPEAKER_01: And so yeah, reach out to me.
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thank you for that.
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: And if you also you can reach out to myself at crushing strongholds.com.
- 57:44SPEAKER_00: There is a place on my website.
- 57:45SPEAKER_00: If you want prayer, you can just go right in there and sign up for prayer.
- 57:49SPEAKER_00: It's free.
- 57:50SPEAKER_00: Prayer is free, you know.
- 57:51SPEAKER_00: There's no cost to it.
- 57:53SPEAKER_00: Jesus already paid the price, you guys.
- 57:56SPEAKER_00: He paid it already.
- 57:57SPEAKER_00: Um, there's a place where you can put your information, your name, you could subscribe.
- 58:01SPEAKER_00: Um, leave me a little note.
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: Um, even if if if you don't want to set an appointment, um, if if you need prayer for something, just put it in the notes and I will pray for you.
- 58:12SPEAKER_00: I will put you on my prayer list, I will pray for you.
- 58:15SPEAKER_00: And um, I just encourage you to reach out boldly and watch what God can do in your life.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: I encourage people all the time, just give them a chance.
- 58:26SPEAKER_00: Give it a chance.
- 58:27SPEAKER_00: If you if you are walking in fear, which which we often do, the only thing we should be afraid of is hell.
- 58:34SPEAKER_00: That's the only fear we are supposed to have in the Bible.
- 58:36SPEAKER_00: It talks about that.
- 58:37SPEAKER_00: We're not to have any other fear.
- 58:39SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 58:40SPEAKER_00: Um we're we all, you know, a lot of people fear death.
- 58:44SPEAKER_00: I don't fear death at all.
- 58:45SPEAKER_00: We're all gonna die no matter what, you know.
- 58:47SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't want to die right this second, but hey, you know, I mean, I I I'm I'm okay with still living.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: But if God were to say, hey, it's your time, it's your time, I'm okay.
- 58:56SPEAKER_00: And um, because I I I am secure, I have a security deposit planted in heaven right now.
- 59:03SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 59:04SPEAKER_00: And I want all of you to have that same security and knowing that you're planted right next to the Father and the Son and Moses and Paul.
- 59:14SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine having a conversation with Paul?
- 59:17SPEAKER_00: That is gonna be an interesting talk.
- 59:19SPEAKER_00: I guarantee you that is gonna be wow.
- 59:23SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know if you guys watch um Angel Studios.
- 59:28SPEAKER_00: That's about the only um thing I really like to watch these days.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: It's hard to get Christian content on TV anymore.
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: Um, that's not distorted or even um warped a little bit.
- 59:42SPEAKER_00: Um, I know there's not going to be anything such thing as a perfect movie until we get to heaven, and then we'll get to see it for ourselves.
- 59:49SPEAKER_00: But the time that David has taken on Goliath and and Saul is, you know, the king, and he's he's such a bad guy.
- 59:58SPEAKER_00: You know, he's such a bad guy.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_00: It makes me think, man.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_00: And even when David goes to him and sings for him, and he's like, Hey, you know, and he's wow, I haven't felt like anything like this before, because that's God.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_00: That's God, that's how simple God is.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_00: You know, you could have armies of people coming to you trying to fix you.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_00: They're not gonna fix you, only God can.
- 1:00:21unknown: Right.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_00: You know.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_00: Um, so that's why we like to talk about the truth, and that's what this podcast is about.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_00: Bethany, do you have anything else you'd like to include today?
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_01: Take time.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_01: I strongly believe that you can never go wrong on how much you study the Bible.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_01: I personally there are so many times when I lose track of time because that's how much it means to me to understand to live abundantly here.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_01: No, that that that's not to say it's necessarily abundance in material things, but it is abundance in what God considers true abundance, and so I would encourage anyone who's listening to take time.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_01: It will be the best time.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_01: Best use of your time.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_01: It's not saying to neglect your various responsibilities, but that's saying really focus on what are you spending your time on?
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_01: And so you know, just take time to study.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_01: God has given us everything we need in his word, and we are foolish if we don't take advantage because in this age of techno technology advancements there's really no excuse for not taking that time.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_01: In God's word, the only excuse would be if you don't have an internet connection, which you wouldn't be able to watch this.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_00: That was a good one.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_00: Well, if they didn't have a Bible, you know, they you know, and and there are countries where they're fighting to get the word of God in their hand, you know, and we are we're we do not realize, um, well, maybe some of us do realize, I realize how just how privileged we are.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_00: Um that that's why like at our bookstore, my daughter and I have a bookstore, and when people donate Bibles, we give them away for free.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_00: We don't we don't charge anybody for Bibles, we give them away.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_00: And um, we want the Word of God, you know, in your hands.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_00: And if somebody were to come up and say, hey, I found this uh this book on because sometimes we have just various books on just chapters of the Bible, like Esther or whatever, um, and they really wanted it, it would be given to them, you know, because we want them, and that's the word of God.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_00: It may not be the whole Bible, but you know, it's still the Word of God.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_00: We give that away for free.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_00: Because we want people to have the Word of God.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_00: We're never gonna withhold that from somebody for uh for any amount of money.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_00: If somebody says, I can't afford it, you know, there's absolutely that'd be ridiculous.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_00: Um, there's also on Amazon, um, you can buy bulk Bibles for like$2 a Bible, and you can buy them in bulk.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_00: And so um if somebody does need a Bible, reach out to me.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_00: I'll send you a Bible.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_00: I'll get you a Bible.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_00: I'll just go to Amazon, I'll order it for you, and I'll have it dropped right at your door.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, you know, I'll pay the two bucks, it's okay.
- 1:04:58SPEAKER_00: Um, if you really, really do not have a Bible, I would be glad to give you one.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_00: Um I know God would God will make sure that um I am blessed in doing that, and He will make sure that I'm financially secure in doing that.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_00: Um, He always has provided for me in that aspect.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_00: But um for today, um, if also if anybody's looking for prayer for salvation, just reach out to us.

- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: Um but today I'm gonna just close in prayer and then um we will um be done with our episode.

- 1:06:14SPEAKER_00: That invitation is there.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_00: The invite has always been there.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_00: You've never denied anyone from that invitation.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_00: God, I just ask you just um bless Bethany.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_00: Thank you for giving her the word today to share with us and bless this podcast, Lord.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_00: And um, Lord, we just ask that you just let it go viral, let it go live, let it go wherever it needs to go, let it get to the people that do have internet and that can actually listen and watch us, Lord, so that this word can touch people's lives.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_00: God, we just want to tell people the truth.

- 1:06:58SPEAKER_00: Watch over our government, watch over all of the crazy people out there, all of the uncrazy people out there, just everyone, Lord.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_00: I just ask you just just we know that you have your hand on it.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_00: Because if if you know, if you weren't here, God, we wouldn't be here.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_00: So we thank you, Lord.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_00: We just love you, and we just ask that you just keep on protecting us, Lord, until we meet again in this in in heaven, Lord.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' name I pray, Lord.
