- 0:01Hey, everybody. Well, it's the Alex Garrett podcast Network. And you
- 0:05know, July second, seventeen seventy six, Congress did something right. The
- 0:10Continental Congress approved of America's independence from Great Britain. In fact, you know,
- 0:19I got to be in the room where it happened in Philadelphia, and
- 0:22I'll share that audio maybe on July the fourth itself replay for those who have
- 0:27just joined the podcast journey. But it's such an interesting thing to me that
- 0:35I feel like it's one of the last things Congress has done to benefit America,
- 0:41which is making us free now. I was corrected that George Washington had
- 0:45not led the Continental Congress at this time where the you know, it was
- 0:50part of the army at the time, but he was in that room with
- 0:53the founding fathers, and of course he became the first president. He was
- 0:57in there, and I got to see the chair he said as America was
- 1:00being formed. And so on that note, I wrote an article called the
- 1:07last thing you know Congress did write was July second, seventeen seventy six,
- 1:12and of course July fourth ratification the official signing of the declaration. And why
- 1:19I say that because in our own backyard. There are still families of one
- 1:26of the largest victims of the largest terrorist attacks ever, the largest terrorst attack
- 1:34ever on our soil, looking for justice. That's why nine to eleven Justice
- 1:41was formed by Brett Eagleson, and today I had the opportunity to attend a
- 1:46press conference where they are making sure people don't forget that their loved ones were
- 1:53killed in nine to eleven. Take a listen. Before I started, my
- 1:57collegdads is going to be a note from Congressman Mike Lawler, who couldn't be
- 2:02here today, but he did want to pass along some comments in his sentiments.
- 2:07I read those notes and then as you can start again, good morning,
- 2:10and thank you for being here. My name is Dennis McGinley, and
- 2:15our brother Danny was murdered on the eighty ninth floor of the South Tower on
- 2:21nine to eleven. Like Brett said, I just want to read a quick
- 2:25statement of support from Congressman Michael Waller, who is proudly serving New York's Hudson
- 2:31Valley, and it is addressed to Brett Eagleson, president of nine to eleven
- 2:37Justice. Thank you, Brett Eagleson for inviting me to join you for today's
- 2:43important announcement. My heart goes out to you and to all the lost loved
- 2:47ones in September eleventh attacks. I regret being unable to join you in person,
- 2:54as I am in my district revenge with constituents, but I wanted to
- 2:59make sure to provide a statement to be read for this important event. September
- 3:06eleventh, two thousand and one, changed our world. Like most Americans who
- 3:12were old enough, I'll never forget where I was that day. I was
- 3:16entering my fifth day of freshman year at Suffolk High School. I'll never forget
- 3:22hearing the news of the attacks of the Loudspeaker, or witnessing the fear of
- 3:27my fellow classmates who had parents who worked in the World Trade Center or served
- 3:34as first responders. Almost twenty three years later, those memories in the aftermath
- 3:42are forever etched in our minds. September eleventh had a profound impact on our
- 3:49nation, but particularly on New Yorkers. We lost thousands of innocent Americans on
- 3:55that day and continue to lose more. The brave heroes who work tirelessly on
- 4:01the pile trying to find survivors and help other families and families find closure.
- 4:11We must never forget those we lost nor fail to honor their memories as a
- 4:16nation. Is an imperative that we never forget and that our children and grandchildren
- 4:24understand the events of that day. That is why it is so important that
- 4:30we continue to mark the occasion and communities across the country and recognize all those
- 4:35we lost. For that reason, I introduced legislation last year to ensure September
- 4:43eleventh is always remembered by making it a federal holiday. I also introduced legislation
- 4:49to ensure nine to eleven survivors and the families of those we lost received the
- 4:55full compensation they are due. I am going to keep working with my colleagues
- 5:01in both parties to get the American Victims of Terror Compensation Act and September Eleventh
- 5:09Day of Remembrance Act passed and signed into law. We owe nothing less to
- 5:18these families. Justice for nine to eleven families means we must ensure they receive
- 5:26the full compensation they are due for their losses and for their healthcare needs.
- 5:31But it also means getting them the answers that they and the American people deserve.
- 5:38The video filmed by Saudi intelligence agent Omar al Bayoumi only just made public
- 5:46that appears to show him casing the capital at the same time that the nine
- 5:50to eleven attacks were being planned out. Is incredibly disturbing and raises new questions
- 5:59about the number and extent towards Saudi officials were involved in the September eleventh terrorist
- 6:05attacks. These questions must be answered. We owe it to Bread and to
- 6:14all those loved ones on September elevens that we lost, to the victims,
- 6:20the survivors, to those who continued to be diagnosed with health effects from that
- 6:27terrible day, and to all Americans. I will continue to speak out to
- 6:33demand answers to ensure that every individual with ties to this horrific attack on our
- 6:40country is brought to justice. Thank you, Thank you, Dennis. We
- 6:53thank the words for hires from Lawlor. You know, as we stand here
- 6:57today surrounded by family members that those who died horrifically and tragically in the World
- 7:05Trade Center of the Kentagon and the flight in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, we're no
- 7:13longer searching for words of you know You're in our boss and prayers. We're
- 7:19no longer looking for to be coddled or comper who stand here pissed off.
- 7:27It's twenty three years later, and our government has failed to bring us accountability,
- 7:34closure and justice. Our government fails to talk tough on the Kingdom of
- 7:39Saudi Arabia. Every member of Congress, especially the two candidates running for the
- 7:46highest office in this land, the two candidates running for president of the United
- 7:49States, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, need to be addressing
- 7:56this issue. There was a debate, if you wanted to at a debate
- 8:01less than a week ago. Were these two candidates for president knew about the
- 8:07existence of this video, and neither one of them had the courage to stand
- 8:11with the nine to eleventh families and address this issue. President former President Trump
- 8:16campaigns on the fact that he puts in America first. In twenty sixteen,
- 8:20he said live on Fox News, it wasn't a rack that knockdown the towers.
- 8:24Somebody on and opened up the files. It was Saudi Arabia that knockdown
- 8:28the towers. In twenty nineteen, he invited myself and members of standing with
- 8:33me on this stage to the White House. He promised he was gonna help.
- 8:37He said he was gonna declassify the documents. He said, we were
- 8:39right and just to pursue our actions against the Kingdom. Keep going, he
- 8:45said, I am with you, he said. The next day, his
- 8:48Attorney General, Bill barr In boike the State secrets for princi volet, keeping
- 8:52all these documents under lock and key. President Joe laden campaigned on the promise
- 8:58that he was gonna make seventy pariah state. He wrote a letter to our
- 9:03families and our attorneys saying if he were elected president, he would be classified
- 9:07documents. It wasn't until pressure from these family members on the twentieth anniversary of
- 9:13nine to eleven, when we threatened to protest his appearance at ground zero that
- 9:18he enacted presidential Executive Order one for zero towards zero. But despite of the
- 9:24fact that he enacted that presidential executive order, guess what we did not get
- 9:28the video at CBS at Pain. It was the families and it was our
- 9:33dog in pursuit of justice. We were the ones that were able to obtain
- 9:37this video. We didn't get this video from the United States government. We
- 9:41got this video from the British government. You could argue that the families did
- 9:46a better job investigating the attacks of nine to eleven in the United States government
- 9:50with its hundreds of billions of dollars of resources. The former deputy director of
- 9:54the CIA went alive and faced the nation and said he's never seen this video.
- 10:01Listen. The time for games and doubts about whether Salad Arabia did it
- 10:09is over. This is a bipartisan issue. You just heard from Powisman,
- 10:13Mike Lawler, who's a Republican. Senator Bloomhal on the left side, has
- 10:18been one of our biggest supporters. Senator Cornyan and Senator Grassley, Senator Jilligram.
- 10:24There is no issue today in the United States politics that members of the
- 10:28left and right can agree on. Accept this that it's unconscionable that the two
- 10:35candidates for president of the United States are refusing to address this issue. They'd
- 10:39rather bury their heads in the sand than come out and stand with these nine
- 10:43eleven family members. It's been twenty three years, but when no longer're looking
- 10:46for words of comfort, We're looking for justice, and we're looking for a
- 10:50champion who's gonna put America first. We're sick of it. I don't say
- 10:58anything else if I started sweating, but that's had a couple of comments.
- 11:03I just wanted to do share my personal comments, you know. Again,
- 11:11as Brett mentioned, then I love a community with a little hope from our
- 11:15own Department of Justice, FBI, and government was able to finally obtain smoking
- 11:22gun evidence of the Saudi government's direct involvement in nine to eleven. But now
- 11:28is design for President Biden, former President Donald Trump, Congress, and the
- 11:33Senate to help us obtain justice, accountability, and enclosure from those who perpetrate
- 11:45the largest mass murder on American soil. In just the past week, President
- 11:50Biden stated that we're in the United States of America. There is nothing we
- 11:56cannot achieve when we stand together. Then the next day he said, we
- 12:01are the United States of America. We bow to know well, we've been
- 12:07bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia for the past twenty three years. We've
- 12:11allowed them to get away with murdering three thousand innocent Americans, murdering our Navy
- 12:18servicemen and pensycol Florida, murdering and dismembering a Washington boast, re border,
- 12:24ruin our institution of professional golf, manipulate our economy, and President presidential elections.
- 12:33President Biden also in his speech last evening, talked about the January sixth
- 12:39protesters. They were held accountable for their actions that day, but not the
- 12:46people and government that actually tried to blow up the Capitol and killed everyone in
- 12:52it. It's bizarre, It's just it's mind body. My family and I
- 12:58took a tour the Capitol Building just two weeks ago. You cannot replace that
- 13:03building, the history there, nor the lives that would have been lost.
- 13:11There's a beautiful plaque memorial in the Capitol Building honoring the heroes of Flight ninety
- 13:16three. These heroes are loved ones. The first responders that are still dying
- 13:24from nine to eleven related illness deserve more than plaques and memorials. That deserve
- 13:31justice, accountability, and closure. The innocent Americans who were murdered on that
- 13:37horrific day would have done anything. Together those buildings and planes. We're calling
- 13:43on our president, former President Donald Trump, all of our leaders and representatives
- 13:48in Washington to stand together, do something and finally end this cat and mouse
- 13:56game, this national nightmare that we've been living for the last twenty three years.
- 14:03Bring it to an end. We've been through enough banking. My name
- 14:09is Peter Brady and I lost my father. I'm an eleven in the self
- 14:13Power. The newly released video which shows Omar Albayomi, a known Sally Intelligence
- 14:20operative, conducting surveillance of the last target for the nine to eleven hijackers only
- 14:28months before the attacks, is a significant piece of evidence that clearly implicated Sided
- 14:35intelligence was at the center of the network preparing the hijackers for the nine eleven
- 14:41attacks. This and other evidence implicates Bayouming and other high ranking Saudi officials who
- 14:48are the front end of this support network for the hijackers. They provided financial
- 14:54and logistical support which was deliberate, sustained, and carefully important. Attempts to
- 15:01downplay this video as a sight scene or home video, along with other other
- 15:07things, undermines the sirianness seriousness of the US government's An eleven investigation by anything
- 15:15was casing the US companies focusing on security features, personnel, and strategic locations.
- 15:24This is typical of pre operational surveillance. Ignoring these science demonstraints fundamental misunderstanding
- 15:33of intelligence and surveillance trade print, and challenges the narrative that this was justin
- 15:37Manson Act, we demand that Congress take media decided the action in response to
- 15:46this video honoring the debt ode to the nine to eleven community for their selfless
- 15:52sacrifice saving countless lives at the Capital. We need to ensure that their heroism
- 15:58is never for and there's currently legislation installed in US Congress that are helping our
- 16:04fiers who have been fighting for justice for over twenty years. We urgently call
- 16:10for a review of the FBI's handling of the video and other critical evidence,
- 16:15the CIA's failure to inform the nine to eleven Commission, the former CIA director
- 16:21Morell other videos, existence reasons, concerns, and about the failures on how
- 16:26our government conducted their investigation. For over two decades, we have fought hard
- 16:32for transparency, accountability, and justice, facing numerous legal challenges in governmental as
- 16:37well. The victims' families have already endured so much pain and suffering and is
- 16:42essential that all avenues for those truth and accountabilities were pursued. Yeah, it's
- 16:53like the point out of one important fact that I forgot you mentioned is that
- 16:57in two thousand and four, the mission came to the conclusion while we got
- 17:02a lot of things right, they failed to address the role that Saudi Arabia
- 17:07played. The nine to eleven Commission concluded in two thousand and four. This
- 17:12operation operation on Encore, the secret FBI investigation didn't commence until two thousand and
- 17:19six, and I went for over a decade. So Encore concluded over a
- 17:26dozen years after the conclusion of the nine to eleven Commission. So, as
- 17:30far as we're concerned, the nine to eleven Commission didn't have all the RelA
- 17:34the facts. They certainly didn't have this video that you see air on the
- 17:37CBS News. There's a longer segment it's going to be airing on sixteen minutes
- 17:41in the fall, which talks more about this informasion. But do any of
- 17:45the other failing members stay time? Two words? So with that, I
- 17:56think we'll open it up. If anybody has a questions, we're happy to
- 18:00answer those. Why do you think, remember who the president is, they're
- 18:07not investigating or being honest about what they do. Sure, I mean there's
- 18:12a lot of theories on that. One is that our government enjoys on a
- 18:18state, state level or really cozy relationship with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It's
- 18:22no secret that they stabilize world oil markets. It's no secret that they spend
- 18:26billions and millions of valors in Washington lobbyists. As we stand here right now,
- 18:30they're fighting us too than nail in some district of federal court. They
- 18:36have the most expensive and high priced lawyers in the world. They spend upwards
- 18:41of ten million dollars. I've heard a month on their lobbying efforts. So
- 18:45I think that in this case, unfortunately agreed the drunk all. But you
- 18:49know, it doesn't deter us because we have the spirit of our loved ones
- 18:55pushing us forward. We have something more powerful than they have. We have
- 18:57the truth. We have the truth in these documents right here, and eventually
- 19:02the truth always wins and the good always wins. So we're gonna keep going.
- 19:04But you've all lost for Congress to tech and maybe a decisive action.
- 19:12What is that? What does that av What do you want? I mean,
- 19:17there's a number of things Congress could do and should do it. You
- 19:19know, I commend Congressman Lawler for taking making a powerful statement. Senator bloom
- 19:26involves on similar statements. You know, I would like to see more members
- 19:33of Congress pevocal about this issue. There is a law that's currently stalled.
- 19:37It's in the House Judiciary Committee right now. It's called ejv TA Ensuring Justice
- 19:41against Sponsors of Terrorism. It's been delayed through a market session reasons unknown.
- 19:48You know, there's a number of things we could do. We can pass
- 19:51resolutions, we could threaten put them on the State sponsored terroor list. We
- 19:53need just more toffees. We're tough enough to be up here hundred and fifty
- 20:00yards from the nine eleven Memorial twenty three years later. Our congress members should
- 20:03be tough enough to take on the kingdom, take on special interests, tell
- 20:07the Saudi lobbyists to get the hell out of their office. W W what
- 20:11would satisfy everyone's standing up on this stage, like if you've you've congressmen hormonal?
- 20:17But to one end? What what is justice? What does that?
- 20:21But we need we need our government to get honest with us about what happened
- 20:25that day. We need the documents to come out, not full redactions,
- 20:30page on page, and we need to king from of Saudi Arabia to take
- 20:33accountability. Look, we're not saying that we should go attack the kingdoms.
- 20:37That's that's not what we're saying. The the The current leader of Saudi Arabia
- 20:41was fifty was my age on Iaida. He had nothing to do with the
- 20:45nine eleven task, but his government did. And if members of our government
- 20:51were found guilty of mass murdering three thousand people in Italy, for example,
- 20:56our government would surely be hell accountable. So we want the Kingdom to acknowledge
- 21:02it's wrong being if the Kingdom wants to have normal relationships with the West,
- 21:06if they wanna invest in our sports leagues, if they wanna buy our weapons,
- 21:10if they want us to commit our troops to defend their soil, they
- 21:12can't do any of that unless they address the sins of their past and they
- 21:18come clean, and they won't up to it. And by the way,
- 21:21it shouldn't be me talking about this, it should be President by the President
- 21:26Trump should be the number one people talking about this, not me. I
- 21:32have a same sure any schools all over my husband are nine to eleven,
- 21:40anything was thirty twenty old left behind my children. They just wanna make the
- 21:44skate. If this has nothing to do with money, money will learn upon
- 21:47and the same won't be lost. I'd like to know why four planes in
- 21:52one day, not how to count and how this happened. Money will never
- 21:57replace my husband Norm Thank you guys for coming. We appreciate you being here.
- 22:10This is something so important to highlight, so thank you. That was
- 22:15the entire press conference which took place today at the Downtown Marriott, and I
- 22:21was so honored that Gabriel Abucci, the press person pr person for nine to
- 22:27eleven Justice, have me there. We want more answers and we demand them.
- 22:33And after the press conference, I caught up with those you heard speaking
- 22:37up there, Pete Brady, of course, Brett Eagleson, and Dennis McGinley.
- 22:45All right, I've been invited to cover this very important event in nine
- 22:49to eleven Justice. You know I'm here with Brett Eagleson, the founder of
- 22:53nine to eleven Justice. First of all, Brett, why did you create
- 22:56this beautiful organization for just for the nine eleven families. Yeah, I mean
- 23:00we needed a way to be more formalized. Prior to the creation of this,
- 23:03we were sort of we didn't have a name or a brand, We
- 23:07didn't have a way to send out press releases or even really to raise money.
- 23:11So we created a five o one CEE at the suggestion of some people
- 23:15that are familiar in this space, and we did it and it's been very
- 23:18helpful. So we've been doing this for a long time. It's just that
- 23:22we officially registered as a five on one see about two years. Congratulations thout
- 23:27you Now you're very passionate. So my first question is you want to bring
- 23:32justice even more? Why not run for off? Says zeb Has that crossed
- 23:36your mind? People have asking that question. I want to remain independent,
- 23:41exactly independent, and be a family man. You know, I think we
- 23:47could accomplish more with me not having to put a label on our groove for
- 23:51my or myself. I'm afraid that we haven't learned less than twenty three years
- 23:55ago because we're still letting illegals and everything in the tarras into the country.
- 23:57Does that bother you as well? Well? Well, Bob, is what
- 24:00I hear on the news every day. FBI Director Christopher Ray, who,
- 24:03by the way, he's been part of the he's been part of the blockage
- 24:07for some of these documents. But you hear what some of these leaders in
- 24:08Washington are saying, and the lights are flashing red again. So what's really
- 24:12really concerning to me is, you know, are we doing enough to prevent
- 24:18another Terroritticker, you mentioned you were in President Trump's office in twenty nineteen.
- 24:22It sounds like though he's really disappointed. You tell us why. Well,
- 24:26you know, President Trump campaigned on the fact that Saudi Arabia did nine to
- 24:32eleven. We thought that, you know, he would come to our aid,
- 24:34and he did. He invited us to the Blue Room of the White
- 24:37House, and you know, he said he was gonna be classify the documents
- 24:41and his Attorney General. I can't honestly tell you why. There's theories,
- 24:48right, there's theories that people told him, hey, you know what,
- 24:49you know, Bill Barr knows better than you. You better listen to Bill
- 24:52Barr. But it was Bill Barr that suggests it and ultimately signed the State
- 24:56secrece doctrine. But they did that, they did that with President Trump's approval.
- 25:02And then on the Biden side, of course, Afghanistan really ripped the
- 25:03wound, the you know, the scab opening. I mean on the Biden
- 25:07side, again, there's there's equal you know, both both individuals are equally
- 25:14guilty here for not doing enough to help the nine eleven families. With Biden,
- 25:18he campaigned on the fact that he was gonna make Saudi Arabia pariah state.
- 25:21He wrote a letter to the family saying he was going to be classified.
- 25:23He then goes and does, in fact, he classify under pressure from
- 25:26US, but then does nothing with nothing with the actual documents. So we
- 25:30have the documents here that I'm holding, and it's very clear that the kingdom
- 25:34was very much involved or elements with the Kingdom bagies. So how come his
- 25:40administration hasn't done anything. Tell us about the influence you've had. It sounds
- 25:44like you've gotten the ear of Congress people, senators and yes, President,
- 25:48so tell us what that means by that influence. But it feels like you
- 25:49want to take it a little further now, you want to get further out
- 25:52there. Yeah, we just we were going to keep doing this, and
- 25:55we're not gonna stop until we have accountability, until we have the United States
- 25:59government stand with us, and whether that be a presidential candidate, a sitting
- 26:03member, or a sitting president, we want closure or we're tired of doing
- 26:07this. You know, in a few weeks we're gonna mark the twenty third
- 26:10anniversary of nine to eleven. I don't want to have to be coming up
- 26:12here for the next five ten years. I want to move on with my
- 26:15life. I have a family of my own, and we just want to
- 26:18end this. I heard des follow a national nightmare. I think that's a
- 26:22great way to characterize it. We've been living this nightmare. It impacted three
- 26:26and so many more, yet only a few Americans in this building. I
- 26:30mean, I'm sure you guys promoting this event. So how can we add
- 26:33at the podcast? I get the word out for you guys. Just keep
- 26:36talking about it. You know, we've had we had about fifty family members
- 26:38here today. We had about five or six news cameras, but I feel
- 26:41like there should be more. You know, the CBS news segment got four
- 26:45million views on Twitter or x rather, but then it just sort of didn't
- 26:49go anywhere right there. So I need we need members of the media to
- 26:52keep recirculating this and make this issue viral. Make this a campaign, ISSH,
- 26:56make this central to the next presidency. And you know you talk about
- 27:00the video, tell us really quick about this video and can people view it?
- 27:03Yes, people can view it's It's on Twitter, it's online some different
- 27:08mediums. We have it, we have copies of it. We can post
- 27:12it to our website, which is nine one one Justice dot org by the
- 27:17way, but the video is really conclusive at shocking, it's kind of bone
- 27:21chilling. It's them casing the United States capital, and it's not just anybody
- 27:25that's doing it, it's it's an FBI confirmed Saudi intelligence operative. So like,
- 27:30that's one thing, but number two is that he's also in a video
- 27:33hosting the hijackers out his apartment. So to us, it's very very clear
- 27:37that elements within the Saudi government were behind this. Bayoumi wasn't doing this on
- 27:41his own. He was being tasked by higher Saudi government officials to go out
- 27:45and do this stuff. I'm so glad that you created this because I feel
- 27:48like as we get further and further away from it, people are starting to
- 27:51forget, and yet you're here saying, let's remember, So tell us about
- 27:55that aspect as part. Well, you know, one of the things that
- 27:56drives me is I want the truth. I want to get to the truth,
- 28:00and I want the truth to be told in public schools. Like you
- 28:03know, right now, we're set to believe that it was nineteen hijackers with
- 28:07no knowledge of English, no money, no idea of how to fly a
- 28:10plane, no knowledge of Western culture. We're somehow able to band together and
- 28:14pull off the most CONSEQUENTI attack in this nation's history with no help from anybody.
- 28:18And what we're finding is the truth is is that they had a lot
- 28:21of help. They needed a lot of help to do it, and that
- 28:22help came in the form of the Saudi intelligence or the Saudi support network.
- 28:27Rather, I want to thank you for also playing on this date. I
- 28:30don't know if you're aware of July second, seventeen seventy six Congress vote to
- 28:33make this a free country, and now here you are saying let's keep it
- 28:34free. And that's a random coincidence, but I love it. I love
- 28:38the coincidence and that very much. Well bred. Thank you so much,
- 28:41Thanks for thanks for doing this well. We might have heard in the press
- 28:45conference I just aired on my podcast, Peter Brady speak up and about the
- 28:49loss of her dad in nine to eleven in the attacks, tell us what
- 28:52it means to be here today and really nine to eleven justice when it's how
- 28:56it's helped your family pretty much heal and then try here from a lot of
- 29:00I think it's given a voice to a lot of people that you know are
- 29:06seeing this once a year. Family members that want to get involved are able
- 29:11to reach out to bread and you start to try and move the dial.
- 29:15You know, a lot of the what's been pushed out in the media is
- 29:19coming from nine to eleven Justice and other organizations within the non eleven community.
- 29:25But I think it's important that you know, you still come together as a
- 29:29community. We're all going to be always be part of this and continue to
- 29:33train, you know, make the best of the bad situation. Nationally,
- 29:37we all see the families on nine to eleven when they do the readings.
- 29:40What is your message to Americans that only see that once a year to just
- 29:42get more involved? Right, Yes, I would agree with that statement.
- 29:47This is something that affects everything from national security to you know, foreign politics,
- 29:52and it's just a bigger issue that you know, change the world and
- 29:56everybody plays a word and one less thing. Have we reached out to Congress
- 30:00in your district and to further this cause. Yes, we continue to be
- 30:04in touch with our local state of federal representatives to try and make you know
- 30:10our position heard. And now Pete, thank you so much and God bless
- 30:14you. Thanks you, And now here's the voice of Dennis McGinley, who
- 30:18spoke a while losing his older brother Danny in the attacks Ninal Life. Well,
- 30:22people just heard the press conference on my podcast. You know, I
- 30:26just post the whole thing. But tell us you're on the network, you're
- 30:30eligib with Mike Lawler and how he was able to help out today, because
- 30:32that's a huge statement you deliver. Actually, you know, I'm not a
- 30:36constituent of Mike Waller. I'm actually a constituent of Anthony D. S Posito,
- 30:41who's also Yeah, he's also one of our champions and is very supportive.
- 30:45But I actually had the opportunity to meet Mike Waller a couple of times
- 30:49this year, once in his office with a fellow nine to eleven family member,
- 30:56Jay Winnick. He Jay is actually a constituent of Mike Wawler. He
- 31:00was gracious enough to meet with us in his office and then I ran into
- 31:03him actually down in Washington, d C. About a month ago when we
- 31:07were in a press conference for Fun the Fun the victims for the state sponsored
- 31:12terror. So but he couldn't be here. He would have, but we
- 31:17were very appreciative of him, you know, given us a statement now tell
- 31:21us how you were affected by nine to eleven. Where did you lose time?
- 31:26I lost our oldest brother. So I'm one of five boys, very
- 31:30close knit family. Danny my brother, he was really oldest brother at the
- 31:33time. He was forty years old, married with five young children, and
- 31:40he worked on the eighty ninth floor in the South Town. You wouldn't be
- 31:42here if you were as pissed off as everybody else. So how can we
- 31:45get more Americans pissed off about all of us? You know, I think
- 31:49it's just maybe listen, I get it, it's been twenty plus years and
- 31:55people have you know, especially people outside of New York were really affected by
- 32:00it. But I think as Americans, this is the largest mass murder of
- 32:06Americans on our soil, the largest attack. I mean, this should be
- 32:09something that you know, kind of affects all Americans. And once they see
- 32:14this, this, this video evidence, smoking gun evidence that we had to
- 32:19wintain from another more government, not ours, right like that, all Americans
- 32:23should be up in arms. I would say so because when we're paying their
- 32:27taxs, you know, paying tax we have we have millions of illegal alien
- 32:30sports in the border are unvetted. This could happen again. Let me ask
- 32:35you this, because I'm always talking about being on the ground in the community.
- 32:37I feel like this is such a big example of being in the community
- 32:40with one another. How important is that to keep community strong like this,
- 32:45you know, to rise up if you will. Yeah, almost, I
- 32:46mean, you know, it's like like President Biden kind of said, uh
- 32:52the other day, you know, it's Americans, there's nothing we can achieve
- 32:57if we stick together. So, uh, you know, standing together's community
- 33:00is very powerful, right, Yes, I mean, look, look what's
- 33:05in the history of our country, what small groups, small communities have been
- 33:07able to accomplish. So I asked Pete this, I'm gonna ask you as
- 33:10well. Americans outside of New York only see you know, the families every
- 33:15year on the nine to eleven national broadcast. What's it mean to you?
- 33:19And how would you mngoage Americans to get involved beyond just domorleven the day it's
- 33:23out. Well, So what Congressman Wahler is looking to pass is that making
- 33:30nine eleven the federal holiday. Remember, so obviously we wouldn't want that to
- 33:34turn into like a Memorial Day, people having barbecues and going, right,
- 33:38But you know, teaching it more in schools, make it mandatory that students,
- 33:44young children learn like the real story behind that nine to eleven. And
- 33:52Jay Winnick, who I mentioned as well, he's this constituent of Congress.
- 33:58I'm like, well, he's actually the founder of nine to eleven Day of
- 34:00Service, Okay, which is huge now, right, So you know,
- 34:07I think it's it's like Brett had said, it's it's a Biblelas issue,
- 34:10right. Everybody should be rallying together to make this right, like we like
- 34:15present by some we are, we're the greatest country in the world. We
- 34:17allow this to go, okay, like one account and how do they not
- 34:22have the video and all the declassified verse classified stuff? And I'm like,
- 34:27god, they weren't about this, and they not only we were fighting our
- 34:30own government in our department, Justine Upiah fighting this out east too. It
- 34:34should not be like that. Okay, you mentioned living I've been one asked
- 34:36us all day. Now I'll ask you film Michaelson in the Great American Golfer
- 34:40goes to lift, did you lose all respect him? All respect that?
- 34:44I mean? I wants respect for all of them actually, you know,
- 34:45especially for Bracon to shamba. Yeah, let's say, oh, come on,
- 34:50nine eleven five members. You know, no one's perfect, but you
- 34:52know, can't you just can't we just move on and like and forgive.
- 34:57Well, yeah, listen, we're all about forgiveness, but you have to
- 35:00ask for forgiveness first. You have to acknowledge what you did want to be
- 35:04forgiven. We're not against them playing golf and doing deals with being an ally,
- 35:09but it said like they have addressed this before we can move forward.
- 35:15Have you said the twenty eight pages. I have to ask that because that's
- 35:19a big part of this commission, the twenty eight pages. I keep thinking
- 35:21about that. I think of s Auty Arabia. I'm sure that weighs in
- 35:22your mind as well. You don't be honest, Honestly, I don't even
- 35:25really see in the twenty eight pages. But I've seen everything else. I've
- 35:28seen an operation Encore, I've seen the evidence that has been declassifying, and
- 35:31I've just seen this video evidence that the sounds and our government has not existed.
- 35:38Well we got it. We got it from the UK, from Scotland
- 35:42Yard so believe I'm like, this has to stop this game of cover up
- 35:46and protection from how many trips to Washington have you made in these efforts to
- 35:52get probably need about about three. And I'm sure you're gonna make more in
- 35:57the future here, so hopefully you don't. I'm hoping we don't have hoping
- 36:00that comes to one after well, God bless you, sir on this and
- 36:02dead id you very much so that right there are three men who have been
- 36:08shattered by nine to eleven, and this week the week we honor independence,
- 36:15the week we honor the fact that Congress in seventeen seventy six said yes to
- 36:21independence. I urge today's Congress to follow the lead of Congressman Mike Lawler,
- 36:29and those are Brett Eagleson and Pete Brady and Dennis mc McGinley to find justice
- 36:36for all the families of the victims of nine to eleven nine to eleven Justice
- 36:42dot Org. If you're a congressman or a woman listening to this, visit
- 36:46it. This should not be a you know, issue of debate. There's
- 36:54no debate here. We need to help find these families some closure and some
- 37:00healing twenty three years later, and also find out what other videos exist before
- 37:09nine to eleven. It's insane that the UK government, not our own government,
- 37:16had to help these families out the United States of America. We could
- 37:22do better, and we can especially do better for those families of the nine
- 37:27to eleven tragedy. I'm Alex Garrett and there's been a special presentation on the
- 37:34Alex Garrett podcast Network
