Gulf Shores Bridge Build Update | Birmingham News
Gulf Shores is building a $24 million pedestrian bridge spanning the Intracoastal Waterway, featuring two towers and upgraded plazas to boost safety and convenience for walkers and cyclists. The South Tower is nearly complete, while the North Tower sees steel framing and concrete stairs underway. The bridge will rise 75 feet above water, freeing up a car lane on the W.C. Holmes Bridge.
