Rays (S29) Game 150 - vs Athletics (9/15/26)
Tampa Bay (90-59, .604, 1st AL East, 1st AL, 3rd MLB) was the first team in the American League to “punch their ticket” to the playoffs, but New York (87-63) has now joined them. Los Angeles (NL) joined Milwaukee as playoff teams out of the National League with a win last night, too.
The Rays welcome their second to last home opponent in the regular season tonight. The Athletics (61-89, .407, 4th AL West) have been eliminated from playoff contention already, but are sending RHP Jack Perkins (3-11) to the mound to face RHP Griffin Jax (7-10) of the Rays.
First pitch in game 150 is at 6:40 PM…
