- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. We're here today to
- 0:07Speaker 2: break down hometowns mel season of The Golden Bachelor. But
- 0:12Speaker 2: before we get going, Ashley turned on her camera and
- 0:16Speaker 2: is just absolutely glowing. I say that often, and I
- 0:19Speaker 2: need it this time and there's a reason for it. Hey,
- 0:22Speaker 2: I'm getting educated on spray tans. No, I have a
- 0:26Speaker 2: shoot tomorrow. Yeah. Yeah, And I guess you're surprised I've
- 0:30Speaker 2: never received the spray tan. Huh.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I am surprised, Yes, because Jared has, and you know,
- 0:38Speaker 3: Jess is in the beauty world, so I figured that
- 0:40Speaker 3: like at some point you would have gotten them.
- 0:43Speaker 2: You know. I like, I've never done anything. I got
- 0:47Speaker 2: any I just got a haircut. But wait, does Jess
- 0:50Speaker 2: like ever do official you? Yeah, I've I've received the
- 0:54Speaker 2: furthest I've gone is micro needling. Because I enjoyed it.
- 0:57Speaker 2: That's pretty far. That's pretty enjoy the micro newdling process. Yeah,
- 1:03Speaker 2: I need to feel something then that's hilarious. She's also
- 1:06Speaker 2: really good. It doesn't hurt.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it depends on like how deep you go, how
- 1:10Speaker 3: numb you are, what kind of micro dealing you're doing.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I think she just told me that studies have been
- 1:16Speaker 2: released that there is no benefit to going deeper. Actually,
- 1:21Speaker 2: there is studies out there that say the same, that
- 1:24Speaker 2: you have the same benefits with this new thing she's using. Anyways,
- 1:28Speaker 2: we're back to spraytnds. I've never gotten a spray tan.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I've never thought about it. I have wondered at moments
- 1:34Speaker 2: in my life. You know, a lot of no names
- 1:38Speaker 2: being named, but you know there are bachelor men out
- 1:41Speaker 2: there who look younger than when they're on the show.
- 1:43Speaker 2: There's reasons for that, you know, call it botox, hair transplants, spraytnds,
- 1:51Speaker 2: et cetera. And I've also often wondered would it be beneficial?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Would I enjoy that? Would I like? And I always
- 1:58Speaker 2: go back to now, I don't care enough. I don't
- 2:02Speaker 2: enjoy the spray tan process.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I only do them for reasons, like I really only
- 2:07Speaker 3: do them for work, for like a media thing, like
- 2:10Speaker 3: if I'm thinking back on things that I did it
- 2:12Speaker 3: for just leisure. I got one for the Jonas concert
- 2:16Speaker 3: over the summer for leisure.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I just really wanted to look my best.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Jared has only gotten them again for I think work reasons.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I remember is when he's going to what, yeah that work.
- 2:31Speaker 3: He got one before going to Bachelor and Paradise when
- 2:34Speaker 3: we went back for a little vacation stint. But the
- 2:37Speaker 3: weird thing is spray tans just like they're just not enjoyable.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I would never just get them for fun because well
- 2:44Speaker 3: they are kind of expensive, but then they're very cold,
- 2:48Speaker 3: like they're basically blowing cold air on you when you're
- 2:52Speaker 3: doing it, and I'm like, no, no thanks. Also the
- 2:56Speaker 3: intimacy factor. There's very few people that I'm trying to
- 2:59Speaker 3: get like that undressed for, and I am a girl
- 3:02Speaker 3: that keeps my underwear on. I would ask Ben if
- 3:05Speaker 3: he kept his underwear on, but he's ever had one. Yeah,
- 3:09Speaker 3: I had one, And I would assume that guys always
- 3:12Speaker 3: keep their underwear on.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I mean, I, yeah, I don't have like a lot
- 3:17Speaker 2: of like shyness. I guess, so I don't know what
- 3:22Speaker 2: I would do.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I think, Wait, you don't have a lot of shot,
- 3:24Speaker 3: and you don't the guy.
- 3:27Speaker 2: In the locker room that's just like walking around naked.
- 3:31Speaker 2: You are, Oh my gosh.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Jared is definitely not the guy that walks around naked.
- 3:35Speaker 3: There's two types of guys, one that just like, yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 3: it's fun.
- 3:39Speaker 2: It's like a big party. Yeah, just out there now. Yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 2: we're just just doing our thing. Oh my gosh, I'm
- 3:46Speaker 2: so private about that stuff.
- 3:48Speaker 3: It's my GUYO and Jared and nobody else, not even
- 3:50Speaker 3: my sister, has seen me like fully naked.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It's not like I'm like out there in public, you know,
- 3:56Speaker 2: flipping it around. It's public. It's a locker room. Yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 2: but it's like, no, you don't enter into a locker
- 4:01Speaker 2: room being like, oh, this is like a really like
- 4:04Speaker 2: you know, cautious space for us not to shower, clean up,
- 4:08Speaker 2: like do our thing. Like we're all dudes here. Nothing's
- 4:11Speaker 2: going to surprise anybody else. The more like, I'm naked
- 4:16Speaker 2: and unashamed, so let's be friends and shake hands.
- 4:19Speaker 3: He could be on Naked and Afraid, Ben, that's a show.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I'm sure you'd be able to get on.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd have no problem. I'd love it, I do.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You know, it's not as much and we'll wrap this
- 4:29Speaker 2: up here. I know some people out there listening are
- 4:31Speaker 2: probably this is ridiculous. It's not as much to me,
- 4:34Speaker 2: you getting it. It is the person. And I know
- 4:38Speaker 2: a few that do it professionally. Yeah, And I have
- 4:42Speaker 2: always thought, In fact, I think I asked just this
- 4:44Speaker 2: after her last one. I said, so, like this person
- 4:49Speaker 2: that you get it from is seeing like eight Huci
- 4:52Speaker 2: coucies a day, and it's like getting up in there,
- 4:54Speaker 2: like that's a wild job. There's not many job out
- 4:57Speaker 2: jobs out there except being a guy.
- 4:59Speaker 1: No.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that you know, voluntarily expose yourself to whatever anybody
- 5:05Speaker 2: else is flaunting. It's very weird to me. It seems
- 5:08Speaker 2: very intimate.
- 5:09Speaker 3: It is intimate, for sure, because you're just because the
- 5:12Speaker 3: weird thing about spread hands is that you're just standing
- 5:16Speaker 3: there oftentimes like hunged over and cold, and you're just naked,
- 5:21Speaker 3: standing there like just with your arms out and your
- 5:24Speaker 3: legs out, and it's just like weird. But what's even
- 5:28Speaker 3: an occupation that I can't imagine even more is waxing. Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I think these two came up in conversation I remember
- 5:37Speaker 2: with my wife and I was like, these are two
- 5:39Speaker 2: very odd professions and now you make great money. It's
- 5:43Speaker 2: it's a really like needed thing. AI really can't take
- 5:46Speaker 2: it over. So your job security is very safe. I
- 5:50Speaker 2: respect it in so many ways. It just feels it
- 5:56Speaker 2: just feels odd. You have to be one of those
- 5:57Speaker 2: people that kind of bring the energy of like come on,
- 6:01Speaker 2: I don't care because if there was any like whoa
- 6:04Speaker 2: like comments, which I'm sure at times, like you know,
- 6:06Speaker 2: there's a shock factor to what you know these people
- 6:10Speaker 2: are seeing, then it just really backfires and then the
- 6:13Speaker 2: person's ashamed, they're embarrassed the person doing it, it's grossed out.
- 6:17Speaker 3: I think I'm the person that would like never get
- 6:19Speaker 3: used to seeing naked bodies.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's there's a unique human out there that does
- 6:24Speaker 2: it every day all day.
- 6:26Speaker 3: And I think about, like, those are nice boobies. I'm
- 6:28Speaker 3: glad I don't have those boobies.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I remember being in the locker room, like you know,
- 6:33Speaker 3: the YMCA as a kid, using the public pool and
- 6:37Speaker 3: thinking and being like, oh my god, those are big, flat,
- 6:42Speaker 3: long boobies, or those are some big nipples, and like
- 6:46Speaker 3: all those thoughts you were at the YMCA.
- 6:48Speaker 2: It wasn't exactly probably the demo that was like showing
- 6:53Speaker 2: off anything under a certain age range. You know, it's
- 6:59Speaker 2: the final thought here. There's two things. I have one
- 7:02Speaker 2: story about this, you know, I think we had a
- 7:05Speaker 2: spray tanner come up to our house at like late
- 7:08Speaker 2: one night. It was like nine to thirty. Yeah, that's primetime, Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 2: primetime spray Tan. And I was like, okay, so they're
- 7:14Speaker 2: gonna do this. They had to go somewhere else after this,
- 7:18Speaker 2: and they're gonna go home and go to bed like
- 7:21Speaker 2: thirty minutes after seeing a naked human standing in front
- 7:24Speaker 2: of them. That's crazy. Like I don't, like I'm married.
- 7:28Speaker 2: That doesn't happen to me very often, even like that's
- 7:30Speaker 2: not how my life works all the time. It's very interesting.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I did. Jess always tells the story. It's funny. We
- 7:37Speaker 2: had just gotten married. She I don't know if it
- 7:39Speaker 2: was of SPRAYTN, like post wedding or whatever. Anyways, I
- 7:44Speaker 2: get up one morning and I'm making the bed and
- 7:49Speaker 2: her side of the bed is like this yellow orange. Yeah,
- 7:53Speaker 2: and I like stripped the sheets and threw them in
- 7:57Speaker 2: the wash. And I came downstairs and she was sitting
- 7:59Speaker 2: at the time, and she laughs at this story, and
- 8:01Speaker 2: I said, hey, hon, like you can tell me did
- 8:04Speaker 2: you pee the bed last night? I was serious, like,
- 8:08Speaker 2: I was very like, I have no clue what this
- 8:10Speaker 2: could be, but it looks like you just like let
- 8:13Speaker 2: loose in bed. And I want to let you know
- 8:16Speaker 2: one why two It's okay, but we need to figure
- 8:21Speaker 2: this out. Oh my goodness, yeah, wow, you're here. Funny.
- 8:28Speaker 3: I'm thinking of so many different things that are not
- 8:30Speaker 3: suitable for work, and this does technically work. But I
- 8:32Speaker 3: do have one more question refer for you, and then
- 8:34Speaker 3: we'll rob the conversation because I know you're a massage guy.
- 8:38Speaker 2: You get fully naked for massages every well, yes, I
- 8:42Speaker 2: do go to this place that is like quick and
- 8:44Speaker 2: it's a walking and you have to leave your clothes on.
- 8:47Speaker 2: It's just a quick massage, you mean, just like a
- 8:50Speaker 2: place at the mall. Yeah, it's like it literally isn't
- 8:53Speaker 2: a mall. And you walk in and you're like, do
- 8:54Speaker 2: you have any like openings for the next time. I
- 8:56Speaker 2: love those places. It's amazing and they're like a dollar
- 8:59Speaker 2: a minute and you're like this so good and they
- 9:01Speaker 2: just beat me up and I leave feeling all sorts
- 9:04Speaker 2: of confused and I've snored. So I leave my clothes
- 9:06Speaker 2: fully on for that. But if I like pay for.
- 9:08Speaker 3: A like, what's the point of taking off your boxers?
- 9:14Speaker 3: Because for me, for me, I find I feel no different.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I feel more vulnerable in my head and a little
- 9:21Speaker 3: more breezy down there. But I wouldn't feel as comfortable
- 9:25Speaker 3: with the messeuse like moving the sheet or the towel around.
- 9:28Speaker 2: It's where you and I differ. I'm like, not a problems.
- 9:32Speaker 2: It's more your issue than mine.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Ben, You like, are really confident with your package.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I'm just I like to relax, and so if I'm
- 9:40Speaker 2: going to relax, I relax more with my underwear on. No,
- 9:44Speaker 2: there's there's a freedom and coming in how we were
- 9:47Speaker 2: born and allowing that to take over you. I am
- 9:52Speaker 2: most comfortable with how I came into the world. It's
- 9:55Speaker 2: also how I go to sleep at night, and it
- 9:58Speaker 2: will be how I leave the world. I mean that
- 10:00Speaker 2: might be my cast what who knows?
- 10:03Speaker 3: That's how you're going to leave the world. Do you
- 10:04Speaker 3: think you're gonna die when you're naked? How often are
- 10:06Speaker 3: you naked? That's actually my final question.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I might request it if I'm going to spend that
- 10:11Speaker 2: much time laying on my back, like, at least allow
- 10:16Speaker 2: me to be free doing it. Jared and I do
- 10:18Speaker 2: not walk. We don't like we are like we don't
- 10:20Speaker 2: like walk.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Around naked and very very infrequently like well like you know,
- 10:24Speaker 3: like he'll pull up his underwear in front of me
- 10:26Speaker 3: and stuff like that. But like it's very beyond it's
- 10:31Speaker 3: not much beyond that. I feel like, are you just
- 10:33Speaker 3: walking around your house naked?
- 10:35Speaker 2: A lot? I feel like I do. I've never really
- 10:37Speaker 2: thought about that way. I just feel like, yeah, I'm home.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I'm comfy. In fact, now that you say that, like
- 10:47Speaker 2: at some point I have to stop, right, we have kids, now,
- 10:50Speaker 2: Like that was you know, going to have to stop? Yeah?
- 10:53Speaker 2: I mean, goodness, gracious, there's many my glass of water
- 10:57Speaker 2: before bed. But I do know our brisken see in
- 11:00Speaker 2: our kitchen, so that actually could be a problem. There's
- 11:03Speaker 2: a lot to think about it.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Don't even know if you're being like funny right now
- 11:06Speaker 3: and you say, like your neighbors, that's so funny, Like,
- 11:10Speaker 3: I like love knowing more about you and learning more.
- 11:13Speaker 3: This doesn't really surprise me.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know why you're surprised content.
- 11:18Speaker 3: So I'm glad that you're talking about it. I will
- 11:20Speaker 3: tell a story now this should be a headline.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Okay, maybe it will be. Let's see where it goes.
- 11:29Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:29Speaker 3: It's hilarious because a couple of years ago, when Jared
- 11:33Speaker 3: and I were on The Bachelor in Paradise for our
- 11:37Speaker 3: little you know, Stint. One of the producers had like
- 11:40Speaker 3: a three or two and a half three year old
- 11:42Speaker 3: at the time, and he was good fronts with him,
- 11:47Speaker 3: and he showed us this video of his son seeing
- 11:50Speaker 3: him in the bathroom and saying he was like, WHOA,
- 11:53Speaker 3: daddy's penis is a big pena like that so funny.
- 11:57Speaker 3: So this week, Jared for the first time peace in
- 12:01Speaker 3: front of Dawson because Dawson has to pay. And then
- 12:04Speaker 3: Jared goes, I'm gonna go and pee, and right after
- 12:06Speaker 3: you and I am down the hall and I hear
- 12:10Speaker 3: the funniest thing, And I'm just so glad that I
- 12:12Speaker 3: was present for this moment and Jared doesn't mind me
- 12:15Speaker 3: sharing because of the obvious Dawson goes, WHOA, that's a
- 12:22Speaker 3: big penis.
- 12:23Speaker 2: That's a huge penis. Yeah, there's a level of that, like,
- 12:29Speaker 2: and I'm sure Jared was like, hey man, like cool,
- 12:32Speaker 2: but also like you know, Jared walked out of there
- 12:37Speaker 2: about an inch tall.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Oh one, Like I saw the visible difference in his posture.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Oh He's like, I got it. Like that's cool. Like
- 12:46Speaker 2: because of the opposite.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Could you imagine You'd be like, Daddy, your peenis is
- 12:51Speaker 3: the same size as a penis.
- 12:53Speaker 2: That would be fantastic. That that would make my life
- 12:57Speaker 2: If that's the story that was told there, I'd be like,
- 12:59Speaker 2: this is.
- 12:59Speaker 3: You think that story would be being told on the airwaves?
- 13:03Speaker 2: That would be that would be like a buddy story
- 13:07Speaker 2: that is told on a golf trip that like our friend.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Would it be told?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Oh?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Yeah, like guys, when we were together, like you guys
- 13:14Speaker 2: poor you know we this. You have to hear what
- 13:17Speaker 2: my son said to me, I'd be like, that is fantastic,
- 13:20Speaker 2: Like that dude, that kid gets it. This is an
- 13:26Speaker 2: amazing way to start an episode about hometowns with mel.
- 13:33Speaker 3: You know, this episode was so bland, we just had
- 13:37Speaker 3: to spice it up with this intro conversation.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah, we shouldn't record at night. I feel like when
- 13:42Speaker 2: we recorded at night, we've had too much happened during
- 13:44Speaker 2: the day and it's kind of just like everything's thrown
- 13:47Speaker 2: out there. Oh, I think it's the opposite. I think
- 13:49Speaker 2: we're more entertaining at night. Yeah, And honestly, you know this,
- 13:54Speaker 2: like I have Jessica and I can ask her everything,
- 13:58Speaker 2: but I ask you a lot of things too about
- 14:02Speaker 2: you know, how life works, and because like you are
- 14:07Speaker 2: a trusted voice in my life, and so this if
- 14:09Speaker 2: you and I were together having dinner, this would be
- 14:11Speaker 2: a conversation that we would one hundred percent have. I'd say, Ashley, Jessica,
- 14:15Speaker 2: get spray tans. Tell me how your experience with spray tans.
- 14:19Speaker 2: There's a lot to this, but let's jump into the episode.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I kind of disagree with you. I came into this
- 14:25Speaker 2: episode forcing myself. So I wake up in the morning, Ashley,
- 14:29Speaker 2: and recently I've been wake up in the morning and
- 14:31Speaker 2: I say a prayer to myself. I say, walk into
- 14:34Speaker 2: the world today with a loving spirit. That's what I've
- 14:37Speaker 2: been saying for the last couple of weeks, just the
- 14:39Speaker 2: last a couple of weeks, because I was getting angry
- 14:40Speaker 2: and it wasn't fun. So today I woke up and said,
- 14:44Speaker 2: step into the world with a loving spirit. Had a meeting.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Then the episode comes out. I watched the episode and
- 14:51Speaker 2: I said, Ben, try to look at this with eyes
- 14:54Speaker 2: that are positive, because you've been very negative this season,
- 14:58Speaker 2: and maybe the negativity isn't how everybody feels. There's still
- 15:01Speaker 2: a half million people watching this show. Just a half
- 15:04Speaker 2: a million, yeah, holy mail a little bit more. It's
- 15:08Speaker 2: not very good. Holy shit, it's not good.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I mean half my Instagram reels okay, a third of
- 15:14Speaker 3: my Instagram reels get higher views than that.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's there's a precedent to this. I'm
- 15:21Speaker 2: actually going to look up right now the ratings from
- 15:24Speaker 2: last week's episode. I can tell you exactly how many,
- 15:28Speaker 2: just in case I got it wrong. I don't. I
- 15:29Speaker 2: don't want to spread false news here. Okay, this is
- 15:33Speaker 2: according to TV series or TV series finale dot com
- 15:38Speaker 2: on ten to fifteen, which was last week's episode. Oh
- 15:41Speaker 2: I was wrong, Oh thank goodness, two point one million
- 15:45Speaker 2: viewers is actually up twelve Yeah, it was actually up
- 15:48Speaker 2: twelve percent from the week before, which was one point
- 15:52Speaker 2: nine million viewers. Okay, it's down sixty six percent. Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 2: or from jone season areas Gary season. It's still not
- 16:02Speaker 2: turning heads in the ratings categories. I mean you can
- 16:05Speaker 2: read the headlines for that. So there's people watching it.
- 16:07Speaker 2: My point is, I'm gonna try to stay positive. So
- 16:09Speaker 2: here's some takeaways from a positive perspective. Then I do
- 16:13Speaker 2: have my nigatives too. I can help my positives are this.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I felt like this was the first episode that I've
- 16:19Speaker 2: been begging for it. This is the first episode where
- 16:23Speaker 2: I felt like we got more story from the cast members.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I know we've had sprinkling moments of story and who
- 16:30Speaker 2: they are and what they're about and what they're looking
- 16:32Speaker 2: for throughout this season, but this felt like the first
- 16:35Speaker 2: episode where I got the familiar sit down, tell me
- 16:39Speaker 2: your life story, and then mel you respond, ask the
- 16:44Speaker 2: questions that are appropriate in the moment. This was a
- 16:48Speaker 2: positive for me. I actually came to the row ceremony
- 16:52Speaker 2: going I enjoy all three of these women and I
- 16:55Speaker 2: understand them a little bit better because I got to
- 16:59Speaker 2: know them now. I think it's way late to be
- 17:02Speaker 2: doing this, but I will say that's a positive from
- 17:04Speaker 2: this episode. I will also list a positive as I
- 17:09Speaker 2: thought the families were incredible, especially the grandma who has
- 17:14Speaker 2: watched twenty years of the Bachelor franchise. That was nice.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Just she should on it. And I'm not kidding when
- 17:22Speaker 2: I say this. I know you think I'm crazy. She
- 17:25Speaker 2: should be on the show dating. That's the golden to me.
- 17:30Speaker 2: People would watch her that you want, Yeah, people would
- 17:33Speaker 2: watch her.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I agree I agree, that's what I want. Okay, Okay,
- 17:37Speaker 3: those are your two positives. Okay, So my big takeaway,
- 17:41Speaker 3: it's certainly not a positive, was that this is the
- 17:45Speaker 3: first time I felt like watching this show, I wanted
- 17:48Speaker 3: somebody to feel so awful to say I'm so sorry.
- 17:55Speaker 3: I almost didn't want Cindy to get the rose, and
- 18:00Speaker 3: though she wanted it so bad, because I was like,
- 18:04Speaker 3: you deserve more. I don't want you to get this
- 18:08Speaker 3: rose because you deserve a love that is way better
- 18:11Speaker 3: than this man who's gonna give you. Not to say
- 18:15Speaker 3: that I didn't feel similarly with Peg and Debbie, because
- 18:19Speaker 3: I did. I kind of thought that all three women
- 18:22Speaker 3: standing there, guys literally males.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Ne were coming on this podcast, and if he does,
- 18:28Speaker 2: it's just gonna be you and him. Okay. Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 3: The only reason that I didn't feel as intensely for
- 18:37Speaker 3: like them was just that I feel like they weren't
- 18:41Speaker 3: feeling as intensely as Cindy does right now. And if
- 18:47Speaker 3: they were all feeling this love that Cindy has for
- 18:51Speaker 3: I'm sure I would feel.
- 18:52Speaker 2: The same way for all of them.
- 18:54Speaker 3: But I was like, whichever one of you doesn't get
- 18:57Speaker 3: a rose, like think of it like not you.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Dodged a bullet. I don't think he's like a bullet.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I just feel like there might be something more passionate
- 19:05Speaker 3: out there for you.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Halloween is around the corner, and your favorite podcasters serving
- 19:18Speaker 4: up episodes that are so good it's actually scary. Sex
- 19:22Speaker 4: and the City meets Severance when Adam Scott joins Kristin
- 19:24Speaker 4: Davis to discuss the haunting relationship between Big and Natasha
- 19:28Speaker 4: on Are You a Charlotte? And nine one one What's
- 19:31Speaker 4: Your Emergency? The new episode of Call It What It Is?
- 19:34Speaker 4: Of course Nine to one one Nashville co star Kimberly
- 19:37Speaker 4: Williams Paisley joins Jessica Kafshaw and Camilla Leddington to talk

- 19:46Speaker 4: with the legendary Diane Keaton. Oscar winner Ree Larsen is
- 19:50Speaker 4: a work in progress. Sophia Bush finds out why and
- 19:53Speaker 4: walts right over to Danielle with the Stars because Danielle
- 19:56Speaker 4: Fischel has fellow Dancing with the Stars contestant Dylan Effron
- 20:00Speaker 4: on to talk about the ballroom the leaderboard and more.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Listen now on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
- 20:07Speaker 4: you get your podcast.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Before we dig in, because I do have some comments
- 20:14Speaker 2: on Mel. I do have some comments on the hometowns.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Let's walk through each hometown and mostly focus on the
- 20:20Speaker 2: family dynamics because that's what we saw the most of,
- 20:25Speaker 2: and I think that's what we want to see the
- 20:26Speaker 2: most of when it comes to hometowns. PEG's hometown is
- 20:29Speaker 2: in Las Vegas. That's where we start. She brings Mel
- 20:33Speaker 2: to the firehouse. It looks like just a really fun date.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I become more and more impressed with Peg as the
- 20:41Speaker 2: season continues. She is beautiful, she's funny, she's spirited. And
- 20:47Speaker 2: here's here's part of it. We talked about this yesterday
- 20:50Speaker 2: on the Dirty Rush podcast. There is something very attractive
- 20:55Speaker 2: to me about a woman who can get along with others.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I don't think there's any profession out there that speaks
- 21:03Speaker 2: to getting along with others better than being a firefighter.
- 21:06Speaker 2: You're living together, even if you have families back home.
- 21:09Speaker 2: You're sleeping in small little beds on top of each other.
- 21:13Speaker 2: It becomes a very like intimate environment. Right You're you're
- 21:17Speaker 2: changing you're doing. You're living life amongst others all the
- 21:20Speaker 2: time in a very high pressured, stressful job, and you're
- 21:24Speaker 2: still getting along for the most part. I find that incredible.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I find it yeah. Unique. I don't know if I
- 21:30Speaker 2: don't think I could do it and not like break down.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And so I watch this and I was like, Peg
- 21:37Speaker 2: is even cooler to me than she was coming into
- 21:39Speaker 2: this episode. And I liked her coming in. That was
- 21:42Speaker 2: another thing.
- 21:42Speaker 3: I was like that PEG's too cool for him. One's
- 21:45Speaker 3: too in love with them, the other one was too
- 21:46Speaker 3: cool for him. So with Peg, I liked her hometown
- 21:52Speaker 3: because her daughter was the one that gave him a
- 21:55Speaker 3: harder time than anyone else.
- 21:57Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I why do I want him to have
- 21:59Speaker 2: a hard time? I'm the worst? Uh yeah.
- 22:02Speaker 3: She just was really real about the conversation that she
- 22:06Speaker 3: had with him. She was like, so, how do you
- 22:08Speaker 3: feel He's like good? How do you think of my mom?
- 22:11Speaker 3: She's nice? Like, you know, so you think you can
- 22:14Speaker 3: maybe get there with him? I don't know, like it
- 22:16Speaker 3: was he gave her, from what we saw, really flat
- 22:20Speaker 3: answers that weren't encouraging at all. And I just think
- 22:25Speaker 3: I think that the daughter was like, mom, you can
- 22:29Speaker 3: do better.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I loved the first question asked, and then there he's
- 22:34Speaker 2: like good yeah, and she goes, Okay, that's what I'm
- 22:41Speaker 2: getting here. This is like, all right, well, let me
- 22:43Speaker 2: try again, and let me get a little more like
- 22:46Speaker 2: force full in my questions, a little more direct in
- 22:49Speaker 2: my questions. I you know, I watch this, there's a
- 22:54Speaker 2: few things that came to mind. It's one of the
- 22:57Speaker 2: few times that I haven't seen the batch protected. They
- 23:01Speaker 2: did not protect him here. They made him everything we've
- 23:04Speaker 2: been saying for the last few weeks of does he
- 23:06Speaker 2: really want to be here? Is he really in this
- 23:09Speaker 2: to find somebody? We said this before the season even started,
- 23:12Speaker 2: and it's been kind of this recurring theme. It's each
- 23:15Speaker 2: episode is like I don't understand what he's here for.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I don't understand what he's looking for. I understand who
- 23:19Speaker 2: he is interested in, why he's interested, Like, we don't
- 23:22Speaker 2: know anything about this guy other than he's handsome, and
- 23:28Speaker 2: the show exposed that here. I think it's very much
- 23:32Speaker 2: thrown in our faces of this guy is not an
- 23:36Speaker 2: open book. This dude is not going to even answer
- 23:40Speaker 2: direct questions that have been asked for It to him
- 23:43Speaker 2: by the daughter of somebody he's dating. And there's two
- 23:47Speaker 2: pass here. One is I'm I got upset with him
- 23:51Speaker 2: because I have been in this environment and it is
- 23:54Speaker 2: a very stressful time for the families. They're not only excited,
- 23:58Speaker 2: they're also freaking out. The families are freaking out their
- 24:01Speaker 2: mom or their daughter or their sister or whoever is
- 24:06Speaker 2: coming home with this guy after being on a show
- 24:10Speaker 2: for a few weeks, and you are there to talk
- 24:13Speaker 2: about their future and love and so even if you
- 24:17Speaker 2: aren't feeling it, mel goodness, gracious, even if you aren't
- 24:20Speaker 2: close to being there to make a proposal at the end,
- 24:25Speaker 2: give the families a little bit more like there's just
- 24:28Speaker 2: no warm, friendly fun et. Yeah, Like, just don't make
- 24:32Speaker 2: her have to sit there and like poke and prod
- 24:36Speaker 2: at you to get anything out of you that's reassuring
- 24:39Speaker 2: or comforting or exposing, Like I don't know, Like start
- 24:44Speaker 2: talking about your biggest insecurities. If you don't want to
- 24:46Speaker 2: talk about PEG, at least tell the daughter what freaks
- 24:49Speaker 2: you out and what you're afraid of just Jane's subject,
- 24:52Speaker 2: tell her something, ask her about herself and her life. Now.
- 24:56Speaker 2: The second part of that, though, Ashley is being in
- 24:59Speaker 2: this situation, I understand what Mel's trying to do. He's
- 25:04Speaker 2: not there, He's not even close.
- 25:06Speaker 3: So he's trying to show that he doesn't want to
- 25:09Speaker 3: get engaged at the end of it, and he.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Doesn't want to lie, and he doesn't want to lead
- 25:12Speaker 2: people on, and he doesn't want to make empty promises
- 25:17Speaker 2: to people where he when he knows where he's at.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And so there is a side of this that I say,
- 25:25Speaker 2: good on email, like, you are trying in a very
- 25:28Speaker 2: high pressure environment to be honest and truthful and not
- 25:32Speaker 2: share too much information to that that could potentially hurt somebody.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I get that side and I respect that, and I
- 25:40Speaker 2: think that's probably kind of who he is in person,
- 25:42Speaker 2: Like he's very direct, but he's like slow to speak,
- 25:46Speaker 2: quick to listen. He doesn't say a lot, but when
- 25:49Speaker 2: he does say something, he means it. That is a
- 25:52Speaker 2: quality that's that I admire. My point to though, to
- 25:56Speaker 2: this is I think the healthier, kinder warmer reaction would
- 26:03Speaker 2: have been tell her something like give her anything.
- 26:07Speaker 3: My feelings about Mel Guys is like just strictly who
- 26:11Speaker 3: he is as a lead and not and who he
- 26:14Speaker 3: is like as a reality TV personality and not like
- 26:18Speaker 3: who he is in person. I have no idea what
- 26:20Speaker 3: he's like in person. I have met so many people
- 26:23Speaker 3: on this show who I didn't think that I would
- 26:25Speaker 3: like because of the way that they were on TV,
- 26:29Speaker 3: and I really liked them in real life. Sometimes it
- 26:31Speaker 3: doesn't translate. You don't get to see the entire person.
- 26:35Speaker 3: I just like, what if I was listening, it's.
- 26:38Speaker 2: He's not listening to us. Okay, he's not, he's not.
- 26:43Speaker 3: My big question is actually more towards casting, where it's like,
- 26:47Speaker 3: what made you guys think.
- 26:49Speaker 2: That this guy was lead quality?
- 26:53Speaker 3: What did he give you an interviews? Because there must
- 26:55Speaker 3: have been so many options. Actually, this is a question
- 27:00Speaker 3: that we could actually ask, like somebody we know no
- 27:03Speaker 3: fairly often as of recent Well, yeah, I know, and
- 27:07Speaker 3: I know that I don't want to, like, you know,
- 27:09Speaker 3: we're just always beating a dead horse sometimes when it
- 27:11Speaker 3: comes to like lead casting lately, I have to.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Say, and I think I said it again last week.
- 27:17Speaker 3: But this one feels almost different, Like I can almost
- 27:20Speaker 3: see what they were going for for everyone, but this
- 27:23Speaker 3: one doesn't make any sense to me. There's not like
- 27:26Speaker 3: one feature beyond his like face, which is a good face,
- 27:30Speaker 3: but he's not like Pierce Brosnan in his seventies.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I think I think you can kind of see what's
- 27:36Speaker 2: happening because you look at the Great Britain Golden Bachelor
- 27:39Speaker 2: that was just released.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a new Great Britain Golden Bachelor. Oh my gosh,
- 27:48Speaker 3: the Golden Bachelor.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Okay. And I think at some point the consultants on
- 27:56Speaker 2: this show said, you need to find the most handsome
- 28:01Speaker 2: person over sixty or close to sixty that you can
- 28:05Speaker 2: possibly find. That's what's going to bring in the crowd.
- 28:08Speaker 2: And I think they show got a little too obsessed.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I do, and I think they got the wrong message
- 28:14Speaker 2: and they didn't actually ask the fans when you had
- 28:18Speaker 2: this kind of era after Gary, where younger people were like,
- 28:23Speaker 2: I'd marry Gary. Gary's hot. I love Gary. If I
- 28:27Speaker 2: saw Gary, I'd be all nervous, you know you remember that,
- 28:30Speaker 2: Like I think you had family members and people kind
- 28:32Speaker 2: of friends of yours talking about how much they were
- 28:35Speaker 2: into Gary. No, that's right, Yeah, that's right. And I
- 28:39Speaker 2: think the show heard this response and thought, that's what's
- 28:42Speaker 2: going to make this show work is if we can
- 28:44Speaker 2: get the younger demo into whoever the Golden.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Is like a daddy, daddy yaddy, and then they just
- 28:53Speaker 3: went too far because they found him and we're like, well,
- 28:56Speaker 3: this is kind of gross.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Now, like it's like like, yeah, like I actually this man,
- 29:00Speaker 2: like he's not just like a like a hot older dude.
- 29:04Speaker 2: He's like somebody that probably wants to date thirty year
- 29:08Speaker 2: olds and that's weird now, Like this kind of mix it.
- 29:11Speaker 2: It goes from this like pure just like oh I
- 29:14Speaker 2: love that guy, to no, I think he actually would
- 29:17Speaker 2: be like into dating me.
- 29:21Speaker 3: If we were to go back to pegsy this peg
- 29:24Speaker 3: segment of the episode. Though, I do want to add
- 29:27Speaker 3: that her daughter, I feel like he's just hoping her
- 29:30Speaker 3: mom's eliminated and then she could be like, oh thank god, Mom. Yeah,
- 29:34Speaker 3: I wanted to tell you, but I felt weird and
- 29:37Speaker 3: the cameras were there, but I didn't think that that guy.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Was for you.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I know.
- 29:51Speaker 2: We do have Debbie's hometown next, which is in Denver, Colorado.
- 29:54Speaker 2: They went to Red Rocks, which is not all that place. Yeah,
- 29:58Speaker 2: it's not far from my house, very very close to
- 29:59Speaker 2: my house in fact, and it's a beautiful place, an
- 30:03Speaker 2: incredible place to see a show. If you've never been
- 30:05Speaker 2: to Red Rocks, you should go there. This is a
- 30:08Speaker 2: moment where Debbie opens up sitting at Red Rocks about
- 30:13Speaker 2: her last relationship. She explains that her fiance Di I'd
- 30:16Speaker 2: buy suicide. You know, it has heavy on her heart.
- 30:20Speaker 2: She is excited about moving forward and very excited about
- 30:23Speaker 2: moving forward with Mel. She is excited for Mel to
- 30:26Speaker 2: meet her family. This is I think. I don't know
- 30:31Speaker 2: if these stories always have to be shared, right, It's
- 30:33Speaker 2: up to the individual to share stories like this, but
- 30:36Speaker 2: I do think this gave me and probably gave the
- 30:39Speaker 2: viewers a perspective into, you know, why she's on this
- 30:44Speaker 2: show and what she's excited about and what she's looking for.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I also watched it and said, Debbie, I don't want
- 30:50Speaker 2: you to get your heart hurt. It's been you know,
- 30:52Speaker 2: you've carried a guilt, she said, through this situation for
- 30:58Speaker 2: a while. At this stage of your life, like I
- 31:00Speaker 2: as a fan of, you want your heart to be
- 31:03Speaker 2: full and I don't know if Mel's going to give
- 31:06Speaker 2: that to you from this experience, but I hope, I
- 31:10Speaker 2: hope this opens you up to kind of do what
- 31:12Speaker 2: so many other Goldens have done and go out there
- 31:14Speaker 2: back into the dating pool because you're great and you
- 31:18Speaker 2: live in Denver and it's a good place. You should
- 31:21Speaker 2: go hang out with Debbie. Maybe I will, maybe i've
- 31:24Speaker 2: met her.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I don't know, I know, I just I agree with
- 31:28Speaker 3: your sentiments there. I do feel like I got to
- 31:30Speaker 3: know her more from that. It was nice because we
- 31:33Speaker 3: knew that she has never been married. That it was
- 31:37Speaker 3: just nice to have a little insight as to like
- 31:39Speaker 3: what her last serious relationship was, and it was ten
- 31:42Speaker 3: years ago and she hasn't dated much since. And I
- 31:45Speaker 3: would totally understand why Debbie really deserves, she really deserves
- 31:49Speaker 3: to find love. And I really, really I'm pulling for her.
- 31:52Speaker 3: She's a good, good Golden option. Now, these ladies would
- 31:57Speaker 3: make a lot of sense in Paradise. I would be
- 31:59Speaker 3: I would be, you stoked to have a Paradise with them,
- 32:02Speaker 3: But I don't think it'll happen. No, Golden's didn't love
- 32:05Speaker 3: their situation in Paradise this year. You know you talked
- 32:08Speaker 3: to Kathy. Loved it well, Kathy, and she hasn't had
- 32:11Speaker 3: a great time. Kathy complained to me when we were
- 32:15Speaker 3: out in San Francisco a few weeks ago, just that
- 32:18Speaker 3: like they didn't design it for their success. They like
- 32:21Speaker 3: barely not in and out any other guys. Especially. She
- 32:25Speaker 3: was like, our dating pool was so slim. If they
- 32:28Speaker 3: really wanted to find guys that we would all have
- 32:31Speaker 3: found appealing. Kathy was honest, and I think she'd say
- 32:34Speaker 3: it here if she didn't already say it on my
- 32:36Speaker 3: podcast when I was recording out there with her.
- 32:38Speaker 2: But she said.
- 32:41Speaker 3: A lot of the women that were Golden's wanted fresh
- 32:44Speaker 3: blood coming in and not the ones from Jones cast.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know what the future of Paradise looks like,
- 32:50Speaker 2: but I do think she's a good option. The family
- 32:52Speaker 2: was honestly very easy on mel. I think part of
- 32:57Speaker 2: that is because they're just excited about her data, and
- 33:00Speaker 2: I'm imagining them being like, I just want her to
- 33:02Speaker 2: find somebody so bad. How is this beautiful, kind woman
- 33:05Speaker 2: not met somebody so anybody just like wrap her up?
- 33:10Speaker 2: And so this is the kind of the calling now
- 33:11Speaker 2: that she, you know, is no longer on the show.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Is if Denver is full, Denver Menver, and it's especially
- 33:21Speaker 2: full of like sixty to eighty year old dudes who
- 33:25Speaker 2: are still biking up the mountain. I live on every
- 33:28Speaker 2: day and looking good doing it and so goodness gracious boys, gents,
- 33:34Speaker 2: Debbie is out there and available and if you take
- 33:38Speaker 2: her on a date, I'll make this commitment now, if
- 33:41Speaker 2: you take her on a date, go to one of
- 33:43Speaker 2: my restaurants, and it's on me, like free drinks, free food,
- 33:47Speaker 2: have a good time. I just want to be able
- 33:49Speaker 2: to talk about it on almost famous podcast Famously Available. Yeah,
- 33:53Speaker 2: you can find it in our thread. It's worth listening to.
- 33:56Speaker 2: We're following along with Mercedes right now, who is dating
- 34:00Speaker 2: this guy named Boston guy, and she's like really into it.
- 34:04Speaker 2: We sent Dean on a date and you were there
- 34:07Speaker 2: for that. And we have a golden actually already I
- 34:11Speaker 2: don't know if it's been announced yet, but we do
- 34:13Speaker 2: have a golden that is starting to get her her
- 34:17Speaker 2: oil going in the dating world. On faceb weekend, they're
- 34:21Speaker 2: announcing oh there weekend, So make sure you stay tuned
- 34:24Speaker 2: for a big announcement. It's a big golden name that's
- 34:27Speaker 2: going to be out there. Some would say one of
- 34:30Speaker 2: the biggest golden names is going to be out there,
- 34:34Speaker 2: uh dating again on Famously Available, and you're going to
- 34:37Speaker 2: get to hear it all right here on the almost
- 34:38Speaker 2: famous podcast thread Ashley. Finally we have Cindy. I like Cindy.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I love her. She is great. She has that star
- 34:48Speaker 2: quality that kind of like glows off the screen. You
- 34:52Speaker 2: can tell her daughter's lover. Daughter's so pretty. They all
- 34:55Speaker 2: look just like her. Yeah, it's like kind of actually
- 34:58Speaker 2: like it kind of creeps you out watching it because
- 34:59Speaker 2: you're they're all look the same. Yeah, the one with
- 35:02Speaker 2: the red hair. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know exactly how
- 35:06Speaker 2: you're gonna look when you get older, like you are
- 35:08Speaker 2: your mom. Yeah. A really sweet hometown. I felt in Austin,
- 35:14Speaker 2: similar questions as PEG's day were asked. Mel once again
- 35:20Speaker 2: really had a hard time answering them. And this is
- 35:24Speaker 2: maybe where I felt like he actually did better. I
- 35:26Speaker 2: think the producer has gotten his ear after Pegs and
- 35:28Speaker 2: was like, hey, if they ask a question, you don't
- 35:30Speaker 2: have to say you're in love with them, but at
- 35:31Speaker 2: least say something like don't say good. Good is a
- 35:35Speaker 2: really hard thing to respond to. Uh. And I think
- 35:38Speaker 2: he did a better job. I don't think it was
- 35:40Speaker 2: like a home run.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Better because I think that his daughter or her daughter
- 35:45Speaker 3: was a little bit more approachable, said it with a
- 35:48Speaker 3: little bit more sweetness, A little less sweetness I want.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I know PEG's daughter was more fun to watch your
- 35:57Speaker 2: mom go at him. Yeah.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Yeah, Cindy's daughters all very sweet. They all like had
- 36:02Speaker 3: very similar vibes to her, like a maid, just like
- 36:06Speaker 3: kind of in warmth. And I would say that overall,
- 36:12Speaker 3: with Cindy's hometown, I was left actually more in shock
- 36:18Speaker 3: than leaving the conversation with PEG's sister daughter because it's
- 36:23Speaker 3: what Cindy, what he said to Cindy. Because okay, so
- 36:28Speaker 3: let's backtrack for a second. Cindy's daughter was like, Mom,
- 36:31Speaker 3: I do really like him. I'm really happy that you're
- 36:34Speaker 3: so happy. She was like, I do think my mom's
- 36:36Speaker 3: in love, and like she's just not really saying the words.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I am a little scared about like where this is
- 36:42Speaker 2: gonna lead her.
- 36:43Speaker 3: And after that conversation where I feel like Cindy's like
- 36:47Speaker 3: kind of trying to work like things out in her
- 36:49Speaker 3: mind and like trying to really feel like.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Okay, but like is he taking me seriously?
- 36:53Speaker 3: Then she kind of dresses it head on at the condo,
- 36:56Speaker 3: and the condo was where I was like, she says,
- 36:59Speaker 3: I know some one will pick me. I hope I
- 37:01Speaker 3: hope it's you, because the daughter had said, like, mom,
- 37:04Speaker 3: there's like so many guys out there, you know, will
- 37:06Speaker 3: he be the one that wants.
- 37:07Speaker 2: To be with you forever? Forever forever? We do?
- 37:11Speaker 3: Like that statement that was like bold, and he just
- 37:16Speaker 3: she was like, I'm fine, I just want to reiterate
- 37:18Speaker 3: that I'm falling falling hard for you. Basically was saying
- 37:22Speaker 3: I'm in love with you, and he could not get
- 37:27Speaker 3: close to saying it. He's he said, he's not there yet,
- 37:32Speaker 3: Like he won't even say I'm falling for you because
- 37:34Speaker 3: you know, that's our world, especially, there's a difference between
- 37:37Speaker 3: falling in love and being in love. He says he
- 37:39Speaker 3: doesn't take the word love lightly because he's only been
- 37:42Speaker 3: in love once. He does not reassure her whatsoever. I
- 37:49Speaker 3: left being I don't know why I was like mad,
- 37:52Speaker 3: Like you can't get mad at somebody for not feeling
- 37:56Speaker 3: love back. But I guess I felt like in a
- 37:59Speaker 3: way that this woman's just being led on, and that's
- 38:01Speaker 3: why I felt sad or mad at whatever.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it feels like it's gonna end in a heartbreak.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I think at this point, I think this show sets
- 38:09Speaker 2: us up right now I think the show wants us
- 38:12Speaker 2: to feel like, going into the final few episodes here,
- 38:15Speaker 2: that we are gonna witness heartbreak. Now. I hope that's
- 38:20Speaker 2: not how it ends for Peg or Cindy, but it
- 38:24Speaker 2: seems like the show has kind of walked us down
- 38:27Speaker 2: this storyline to say, Yeah, he's not there and he's
- 38:30Speaker 2: not gonna get there because he doesn't know how to
- 38:32Speaker 2: get there during this experience. Cindy is an incredible catch
- 38:37Speaker 2: as well as these other two women are. She's definitely
- 38:41Speaker 2: into him. She definitely shows that and wants to communicate
- 38:44Speaker 2: that with him. I think she's my front runner coming
- 38:49Speaker 2: out of this episode. But I am nervous about longevity. Yeah,
- 38:55Speaker 2: I'm nervous about the longevity of this relationship because it
- 38:57Speaker 2: just seems to me like he's either two closed off
- 39:00Speaker 2: because he thinks that's how he has to do this thing,
- 39:02Speaker 2: or he's closed off because he just doesn't feel it
- 39:05Speaker 2: with anybody. And I'm not understanding where, like, out of
- 39:08Speaker 2: those two, I don't know where he's at yet. He's
- 39:11Speaker 2: still thinking I want somebody in their forties. I know.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Goodness gracious, well, we do have the rose ceremony. Debbie
- 39:18Speaker 2: does go home Peg and Cindy get the roses there
- 39:22Speaker 2: in Antigua for the finale. Here we are having a
- 39:27Speaker 2: tell all, which I'm surprised by. There is a tell
- 39:30Speaker 2: all that we see aired in the previews that will
- 39:34Speaker 2: be interesting, especially kind of the Nicole dynamic. There After
- 39:39Speaker 2: the woman have watched it back and seen what they've said,
- 39:41Speaker 2: I'm assuming that it's going to get brought up and
- 39:44Speaker 2: it probably won't be like a very joyous conversation. Other
- 39:51Speaker 2: than that, Ashley, I am leaving this episode feeling exactly
- 39:55Speaker 2: like I said, This show is setting us up for
- 39:58Speaker 2: an ending that feels like heartbreak, and I just don't
- 40:01Speaker 2: love it. I don't love it at all. But we
- 40:04Speaker 2: haven't talked about our Bachelor, our Golden Bachelor League recently.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I'd love to know where you're sitting in the standings
- 40:12Speaker 2: after this last Well, I'm I think we're both out.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Hold On, because Debbie was your final Yeah, she was
- 40:22Speaker 3: my final four.
- 40:24Speaker 2: I'm sitting in Just let you know, I'm sitting in
- 40:27Speaker 2: three hundred and second place. That's actually doesn't sound like
- 40:30Speaker 2: the worst. No, I don't think it's that bad. Hold On,
- 40:34Speaker 2: how many are there? Do you know how many there's
- 40:36Speaker 2: like thousands. There's seven thousand people in this Okay, Oh
- 40:40Speaker 2: you beat me, You definitely beat me.
- 40:43Speaker 3: I am at one thousand, four hundred and eighty ninth place.
- 40:50Speaker 2: See, let's go. I just you know, I know my
- 40:53Speaker 2: Golden's better. Hey, this is This has been the recap
- 41:00Speaker 2: of Hometown's male season of The Golden Bachelor. We hope
- 41:04Speaker 2: you're watching. Share your thoughts with us. On the most
- 41:08Speaker 2: recent episode, give love to these ladies.
- 41:11Speaker 3: They're great, Hey, Ben, Yeah, I actually realized I have
- 41:15Speaker 3: one more.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Thing to say. Please say it.
- 41:18Speaker 3: I thought for a minute he was going to eliminate
- 41:21Speaker 3: Cindy because of the extent of her feelings.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I think it's a good guess he didn't. Okay, did
- 41:27Speaker 2: you not feel it during the road ceremony? Oh? Are
- 41:31Speaker 2: our producer is going? I thought so too.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I was like, I was thinking, he's like,
- 41:38Speaker 3: this lady is getting too intent, she's yelling too much.
- 41:42Speaker 2: I just want to get rid of this seriousness. Yeah,
- 41:45Speaker 2: but he didn't, which maybe hints at him feelings similar.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Don't you dare this? He'll be the worst look ever
- 41:51Speaker 2: for you. Hey, We'll be back next week. Breaking down
- 41:55Speaker 2: more episodes of the Golden Bachelor. Until next time. I've
