- 0:10Speaker 1: Ah, you heard the bass drop. You know what that means.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's time for another edition of the Stardom Citdam Show.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I am Marcus Grant. I'm joined by Michael F.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Florio.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We go through his entire Stardom Cittum column that you
- 0:20Speaker 2: can find at NFL dot com slash Start Sit.
- 0:22Speaker 1: These are not predictions.
- 0:23Speaker 2: These are like guarantees, guarantees, That's exactly what they are.
- 0:27Speaker 2: These are the guys that you want to start, that
- 0:29Speaker 2: you want to sit. There's no way that any of
- 0:31Speaker 2: these could ever be wrong, because nothing in fantasy is
- 0:33Speaker 2: ever wrong. We got the top starts and sis of
- 0:36Speaker 2: week four, some of our biggest questions, and we're gonna
- 0:39Speaker 2: put on the ax body spray and take another trip into.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Club Dub for the week.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So let's start with the quarterback board. Your top starts
- 0:48Speaker 2: and sits at the quarterback position this week.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Floria, let us know who you got.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Some quarterbacks that you might not expect to starts, Daniel Jones,
- 0:56Speaker 3: Russell Wilson, Brock Party and I'm sticking with just Gilds here.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Some sits too, some big names. I need to see
- 1:04Speaker 3: Joe Burrow be Joe Burrow again before I want to
- 1:06Speaker 3: trust him, especially in this matchup CJ. Stroud. I think
- 1:09Speaker 3: this is a big test for him. If he passes,
- 1:11Speaker 3: good for you. You got to start every week. Deshaun Watson.
- 1:14Speaker 3: And then Kenny Pickett. I know he had a big
- 1:16Speaker 3: game last week. Don't do the Kenny Pickett thing.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's it's been kind of rough for
- 1:21Speaker 2: Kenny Pickett so far this season.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Let's talk about some of these guys on your list.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Let's start with Russ Wilson.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I started to buy in at the end of the
- 1:29Speaker 2: preseason that maybe Russ could be resurrected. There are a
- 1:33Speaker 2: lot of issues in Denver. He doesn't seem to be
- 1:35Speaker 2: one of them. No, he is maybe the.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Only one playing good ball right now in Denver for
- 1:41Speaker 3: the Broncos. He has thrown for over three hundred passing
- 1:44Speaker 3: yards in two straight games, has multiple passing touchdowns and
- 1:47Speaker 3: two out of his three. He reminded us a couple
- 1:49Speaker 3: of weeks ago, like, Hey, when you guys need me
- 1:51Speaker 3: to run, I still can. And then the Bears. I
- 1:55Speaker 3: mean they've allowed the fifth most passing yards, third most
- 1:58Speaker 3: passing touchdowns, and they've got up somewhere between twenty seven
- 2:02Speaker 3: and forty one points in every game they've played this year.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I'm not a mathematician or anything, but that seems like
- 2:08Speaker 3: a pretty big number.
- 2:08Speaker 1: That seems bad.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, So, Russell Wilson back in play against the
- 2:13Speaker 2: Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, the guy on the other side, it's
- 2:17Speaker 2: been a rough start to the year for Justin Fields,
- 2:19Speaker 2: but he gets to face a defense that gave up
- 2:21Speaker 2: seventy points. I don't know if you heard about that,
- 2:24Speaker 2: but Justin Fields were still hanging in there with him.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Huh. Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 3: They gave up seventy real life points to the Dolphins,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and everyone is talking about that. But I'm like, did
- 2:31Speaker 3: you guys miss the week before when they gave up
- 2:33Speaker 3: thirty five to the Commanders to Sam Hall. I mean,
- 2:38Speaker 3: and look, Justin Field started running more last week, which
- 2:41Speaker 3: I like. I still want him to run the ball
- 2:43Speaker 3: even more than he has been, But this is all
- 2:45Speaker 3: about the matchup. The Broncos have allowed the fourth most
- 2:48Speaker 3: passing yards, the most rushing yards, the most passing touchdowns,
- 2:52Speaker 3: and the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL. I don't
- 2:56Speaker 3: know if this is as bad as a coaching job
- 2:58Speaker 3: as last year or not Sean Payton, but you have
- 3:00Speaker 3: not been getting the job done so far. This is
- 3:03Speaker 3: a great get right spot for Justin Fields and your bears.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I'm giving him one more shot, but if he disappoints
- 3:09Speaker 3: this week, then it's very different moving forward with Justin Field.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I would say that Nathaniel Hackett is somewhere thinking about
- 3:14Speaker 2: that quote and sipping tea. But Nathaniel Hackett has his
- 3:16Speaker 2: own issues that he's gonna worry about in New.
- 3:19Speaker 1: York with the Jets. CJ.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Stroud has had a great start to his rookie season
- 3:25Speaker 2: this year, one hundred and twenty one pass attempts, has
- 3:27Speaker 2: yet to throw an interception, four touchdowns. But now he's
- 3:30Speaker 2: got a deal with TJ. Watt in that Steelers pass rush.
- 3:33Speaker 2: That makes me a little nervous.
- 3:35Speaker 3: And that's exactly why I have him as a sit
- 3:37Speaker 3: this week.
- 3:38Speaker 1: CJ.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Stroud is someone you want on your roster. Just double
- 3:41Speaker 3: check make sure he's not on your waiver wire because
- 3:43Speaker 3: you want to have him. You just don't want to
- 3:45Speaker 3: start him this week. Coming into the NFL. I thought
- 3:48Speaker 3: the one thing that CJ. Shroud struggled with in college
- 3:51Speaker 3: was when he was under pressure. Right now, so far
- 3:53Speaker 3: this season, next Gen stats rakes him twenty six of
- 3:57Speaker 3: thirty five quarterbacks while under pressure, and his completion percentage
- 4:01Speaker 3: under pressure drops to fifty three point three percent. Why
- 4:03Speaker 3: do I keep talking about under pressure? The Steelers generate
- 4:06Speaker 3: pressure thirty eight percent of the time and have the
- 4:09Speaker 3: third highest sack rate in the NFL. Jimmy g was
- 4:12Speaker 3: not sacked the first two weeks. I think they got
- 4:14Speaker 3: him five or six times last week. This is not
- 4:17Speaker 3: a defensive line to get cute with.
- 4:19Speaker 1: CJ.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Stroud rostered in just thirty one percent of NFL dot
- 4:22Speaker 2: com leagues. He's a great pickup in stash the bye
- 4:25Speaker 2: week's beginning Week five. You're gonna need help there at
- 4:27Speaker 2: some point this season. Go get CJ.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Stroud while you can.
- 4:31Speaker 2: So we got the guys throwing the football, just take
- 4:33Speaker 2: a look at some of the guys catching the football.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Your starts and sits for wide receivers, who you got.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I'm rolling with both Bengals wide receivers still. I know
- 4:41Speaker 3: they've been up and down, but too much upside to
- 4:43Speaker 3: get away. Calvin Ridley in a revenge game across the pond.
- 4:47Speaker 3: DJ Moore because Broncos, and then Tank Dell, who's been
- 4:50Speaker 3: great some sits. It pains me to say, but DeAndre Hopkins,
- 4:54Speaker 3: Garrett Wilson too early round picks there, and then Johan Dotson,
- 4:58Speaker 3: Johann Dotson, Johan and then Kendrick Bourne to round it out.
- 5:02Speaker 2: So you mentioned Tank Dell, and when we talk about
- 5:05Speaker 2: a team tanking, usually it's because they are, you know,
- 5:08Speaker 2: sabotaging themselves. But with the Texans, talking about tanking seems
- 5:12Speaker 2: to have a whole different meaning.
- 5:13Speaker 3: You know, I've been trying all week to find a
- 5:15Speaker 3: tank pun and you just knocked it out of the
- 5:18Speaker 3: park right there. Tank Dell has been playing great football
- 5:21Speaker 3: as of late. He's been the Texans top target two
- 5:24Speaker 3: weeks in a row, and he scored over twenty Fantasy
- 5:27Speaker 3: points in each of those games. You're seeing here. How
- 5:30Speaker 3: explosive he is. I've talked about it on this show
- 5:32Speaker 3: in the past, about how great of a red zone
- 5:34Speaker 3: option he is. And then just to let you know,
- 5:37Speaker 3: like he was tackled on the one yard line on
- 5:39Speaker 3: a play and then he got another touchdown called back
- 5:42Speaker 3: due to a holding penalty. So as great as he
- 5:45Speaker 3: has been the last two weeks, he could have been
- 5:47Speaker 3: even better. I think you just want to keep riding
- 5:50Speaker 3: with your Texans receivers, even though I'm not so sure
- 5:54Speaker 3: about how CJ. Stroud could perform this.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Week, I was pointed out to me, and I've had
- 5:57Speaker 2: forgotten about this, that CJ. Stroud actually requested that they
- 6:00Speaker 2: go out and draft Tank Dell.
- 6:01Speaker 1: So ye, you should fact through that in when we're
- 6:03Speaker 1: talking about putting him in lineups.
- 6:05Speaker 2: DeAndre Hopkins he goes to Tennessee. We were worried about
- 6:08Speaker 2: the passing game, but I think the consensus was, well,
- 6:11Speaker 2: he's DeAndre Hopkins. He's gonna be fine. Through three weeks.
- 6:14Speaker 2: He hasn't really been fine. He can't have apartment about it.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I'm very worried as well. And he saw thirteen targets
- 6:20Speaker 3: in week one and we were like, Okay, the production
- 6:22Speaker 3: will come. But then he's seen seven or fewer targets
- 6:25Speaker 3: in each of the last two games. His catch right
- 6:28Speaker 3: uncatchable targets right now is eighty two percent, yet his
- 6:32Speaker 3: overall catch rate is fifty six percent, so most of
- 6:36Speaker 3: the throws going his way are just unketchable right now.
- 6:39Speaker 3: He is his yards per route ran everything is the
- 6:42Speaker 3: lowest it's been since twenty seventeen. It's not his fault.
- 6:46Speaker 3: He is still a good talent. But Ryan Tannehill in
- 6:48Speaker 3: this Tennessee Titans offense is just dragging everyone down.
- 6:52Speaker 1: With it right now.
- 6:53Speaker 2: They've got a bad offensive line, and we saw what
- 6:55Speaker 2: the Bengals did to the Rams offensive line last week.
- 6:58Speaker 1: That seems like bad news for Ryan Tannehill.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Meanwhile, Garrett Wilson, I had to pause because I felt
- 7:06Speaker 2: the sadness welling up inside me. I have rosters that
- 7:09Speaker 2: have both Breeze Hall and Garrett Wilson. I'm pretty much
- 7:12Speaker 2: ready to punt on them. At this point in the season.
- 7:14Speaker 2: They're playing the Chiefs. I feel like the only highlight
- 7:18Speaker 2: for the Jets is that Taylor Swift might be there.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I mean, please, is there a way to make me
- 7:22Speaker 2: feel better about this?
- 7:23Speaker 3: If you're starting Garrett Wilson right now, you are hoping
- 7:26Speaker 3: for a big play or garbage time, and probably a
- 7:29Speaker 3: big play in garbage time, because this is going to
- 7:32Speaker 3: get out of hand fast, I think with the Chiefs,
- 7:35Speaker 3: and last week Garrett Wilson just gave you less than
- 7:38Speaker 3: ten fantasy points. He wasn't a top forty wide receiver.
- 7:41Speaker 3: He's made two great plays this year. Outside of those
- 7:43Speaker 3: two plays, it has been really rough. It is not
- 7:46Speaker 3: his fault, but the Chiefs have allowed the fourth fewest
- 7:49Speaker 3: Fantasy points to wide receivers. And this is going to
- 7:52Speaker 3: be a game Marcus where we should probably keep count.
- 7:55Speaker 3: What are we gonna see more Taylor Swift on our
- 7:57Speaker 3: screen or Zach Wilson complete completions.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with Zach Willson completions, but not by
- 8:03Speaker 2: a lot.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I'll take Taylor Swift just for fun.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I don't love that I'd have to have my my
- 8:08Speaker 2: fantasy wide receiver be a sanitation engineer in order to
- 8:10Speaker 2: meet for me to get points, that just seemed like
- 8:12Speaker 2: a whole bad deal. Speaking of people that you beg
- 8:15Speaker 2: for Fantasy points from, we're gonna talk about tight ends next.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Also a vibe check, lets you know how we're feeling
- 8:20Speaker 2: about some of your biggest fantasy questions. That's coming up
- 8:22Speaker 2: after the break here on the Stardom Sidam Show, let's.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Suck some stardom, sit them tight ends?
- 8:32Speaker 3: Who you got Darren Waller and Pat Fryarmoth are my starts.
- 8:36Speaker 3: There's two missing because they played on Thursday night, and
- 8:38Speaker 3: then some sits Kyle Pitts across the pond. We gotta
- 8:42Speaker 3: sit zach Ertz against in a tough matchup David and
- 8:45Speaker 3: Joku just has not got enough volume. And talking about
- 8:48Speaker 3: no volume, Dalton Schultz is the face of that right now.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Kyle pitts Man, just Kyle pitts Man. Uh, Let's let's
- 8:55Speaker 2: let's start on the good though. With Darren Waller, it's
- 8:58Speaker 2: been sort of up and down for him. I guess
- 8:59Speaker 2: the good news is that he is consistently getting a
- 9:03Speaker 2: lot of targets.
- 9:04Speaker 1: And you like the matchup this week against the Seahawks.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And the matchup is the whole thing. And I understand
- 9:08Speaker 3: he's had two down weeks right now. But if you
- 9:10Speaker 3: polled a lot of people and act them with the
- 9:12Speaker 3: two toughest defenses in the NFL out right now, most
- 9:15Speaker 3: would say the Cowboys and forty nine Ers. Who is
- 9:17Speaker 3: exactly who Darren Waller has gone up against him? The
- 9:20Speaker 3: other game he finished as the tight end four, and
- 9:23Speaker 3: now he gets a much better matchup. The Seahawks have
- 9:26Speaker 3: allowed these six most yards to tight ends, and last
- 9:29Speaker 3: season they allowed the most fantasy points of the position.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Do not panic yet. In fact, if the person with
- 9:34Speaker 3: Waller is panicking, go out and try to trade for him.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I would say I still sort of believe in Darren Waller,
- 9:39Speaker 2: but I do think the Giants switched some things up.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I think they get one Dale Robinson more involved. I
- 9:43Speaker 2: think they get Jalen Hyatt involved as well. But Darren
- 9:46Speaker 2: Waller still the number one guy in that passing attack.
- 9:48Speaker 1: All right, let's just let's just get this over with.
- 9:50Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about Kyle Pitts.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Look, he gets the face the Jaguars this week. I
- 9:55Speaker 2: guess the good thing is thirty three percent of his
- 9:58Speaker 2: career touchdowns have come in love.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Right, That's not good. That's got to count for something.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Please, That's all we really have to go on right now.
- 10:07Speaker 3: When it comes to Kyle Pitts, last week, it was
- 10:09Speaker 3: the best matchup a tight end could have. He gave
- 10:12Speaker 3: you the same amount of Fantasy points as John new
- 10:14Speaker 3: Smith on Fantasy Live. This week, I both threw a
- 10:17Speaker 3: Kyle Pitts shirt. I compared his quarterback play to the
- 10:20Speaker 3: Inferno and Toy story. It has been rough for Kyle Pitts.
- 10:24Speaker 3: And that's the thing. It is not Kyle Pitts. It's
- 10:27Speaker 3: partly Arthur Smith, but it's also the quarterbacks. Fifty three
- 10:31Speaker 3: percent of his targets have been unketchable so far this season.
- 10:34Speaker 3: That's after last season was fifty nine percent. And if
- 10:36Speaker 3: you listen to the to anything all off season, I
- 10:39Speaker 3: was like, it's gotta get better for Kyle. Nope, nope,
- 10:41Speaker 3: it's just been just as bad as it was last season.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I just don't understand why.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I don't know if Kyle Pitts kicked Arthur Smith's dog
- 10:50Speaker 2: or what. I just don't understand why they can't get
- 10:53Speaker 2: him involved. I feel like last week was the worst
- 10:55Speaker 2: case scenario because it was a great matchup and he
- 10:58Speaker 2: was just mad.
- 10:59Speaker 1: He was great.
- 11:01Speaker 2: You could build off of that. If he was terrible,
- 11:02Speaker 2: you could just be like, all right, well it's over.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Like he was just man. So now you're like, well,
- 11:06Speaker 1: now what do I do?
- 11:07Speaker 2: I got this bowl of oatmeal sitting on my roster
- 11:10Speaker 2: and I just can't do anything with it. That's where
- 11:12Speaker 2: we are with Kyle Pitts. Now, all right, that's been
- 11:14Speaker 2: our Kyle Pits rant.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Of the week. Let's talk about some zach Ertz here.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Though he's getting a lot of love in terms of
- 11:20Speaker 2: targets there in Arizona, he and Marky's Brown have pretty
- 11:23Speaker 2: much been it for Josh Dobbs, but dot forty nine ers.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And that's exactly why I want to sit zach Ertz
- 11:32Speaker 3: this week. The first two weeks were great, week three
- 11:35Speaker 3: not so much. But this is all about the matchup.
- 11:38Speaker 3: The forty nine ers on the season have allowed sixty
- 11:41Speaker 3: two yards to tight ends, which is extremely impressive no
- 11:45Speaker 3: matter who they faced, but even more so considering they
- 11:48Speaker 3: have faced Darren Waller, Pat Fryarmouth and Tyler Higbee, three
- 11:52Speaker 3: very capable tight ends. So you just don't get cute,
- 11:56Speaker 3: don't stream against the forty nine ers. I would go
- 11:58Speaker 3: in another direction.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I do weirdly sort of think that Marquise Brown has
- 12:02Speaker 2: a little bit of value this week, just because they're
- 12:03Speaker 2: gonna be playing from behind and maybe throwing, and he's
- 12:06Speaker 2: kind of been a deep shot guy in this offense,
- 12:08Speaker 2: so maybe he gets some chunk plays.
- 12:10Speaker 1: But it's not gonna be pretty.
- 12:11Speaker 2: You don't if you're starting those guys, I would advise
- 12:14Speaker 2: you not watching it because it's just going to be frustrating.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Time now for a little segment we like to call
- 12:18Speaker 2: how we Feeling, where we rip through some guys that
- 12:21Speaker 2: are getting asked about a lot on social media. Websites
- 12:24Speaker 2: and lets you know if they should be in your
- 12:26Speaker 2: lineups this week. So Florida, let's start with Sedarian Lamb
- 12:29Speaker 2: of the Dallas Cowboys. Are you starting him? How you
- 12:32Speaker 2: feeling about him against the Patriots.
- 12:34Speaker 3: It's a tough matchup against the Patriots. You hear all
- 12:36Speaker 3: the time that Bill Belichick likes to take away opposing
- 12:39Speaker 3: team's best weapons. Don't know if it'll be Pollard or
- 12:42Speaker 3: Lamb there, but ceedee. Lamb has shown us he has
- 12:44Speaker 3: a very safe floor of double digit fantasy points, still
- 12:47Speaker 3: has that one massive game already this year. I just
- 12:49Speaker 3: want him to score a touchdown because it's almost a
- 12:52Speaker 3: month and he hasn't scored one yet.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a little bit frustrating.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Dak Prescott not really helping the issue with his inconsistent
- 12:58Speaker 2: play for me. Jerome Ford against the Ravens, I don't
- 13:01Speaker 2: love the matchup, and I don't know about the volume.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I'm a little bit nervous about it.
- 13:06Speaker 2: We saw a lot more of Kareem Hunt last week
- 13:09Speaker 2: than I think a lot of us anticipated. I thought
- 13:11Speaker 2: if anything slowed Jerome four down, he'd be the Titans
- 13:14Speaker 2: run defense. I didn't think it would be that we'd
- 13:16Speaker 2: see Kareem Hunt and even Pierre Strong as.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Much as we did.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Ford is still the RB one in this offense, but
- 13:22Speaker 2: it's a parent He's not going to get anything close
- 13:25Speaker 2: to the volume that Nick Chubb was going to get.
- 13:27Speaker 2: So if you can get away from him, maybe you
- 13:30Speaker 2: do that. But I know running back is.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Sort of a sticky spot right now.
- 13:34Speaker 2: We were talking about Michael Pittman and now he's doing
- 13:36Speaker 2: with the Colts. What about Josh Downs against the Rams?
- 13:39Speaker 3: How you feel he is not someone I want to
- 13:41Speaker 3: be starting. I'm okay having him on my roster. He
- 13:43Speaker 3: brings a lot of upside. He's the lead slot guy there.
- 13:46Speaker 3: But he had thirteen point seven fantasy points last year.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Last week with Garner Minshew, he hit thirteen point seven
- 13:52Speaker 3: fantasy points in the first two games combined with Anthony Richardson.
- 13:55Speaker 3: So I want to see him and Richardson be on
- 13:57Speaker 3: the same page before I consider starting him.
- 14:00Speaker 2: So Josh Down's kind of a nope. How about Josh
- 14:03Speaker 2: Kelly going against the Raiders. That's so five Stadium and
- 14:06Speaker 2: for me, that's gonna be a noe for me. Dog
- 14:09Speaker 2: part of it is just him being inefficient the last
- 14:11Speaker 2: couple of weeks with Austin Eckler out, I think it's
- 14:14Speaker 2: fifty one yards on twenty four carries.
- 14:16Speaker 1: That's just no bueno.
- 14:18Speaker 2: On top of it, there is talk that Austin Eckler
- 14:21Speaker 2: could come back to play this week. Now, Eckler less
- 14:24Speaker 2: than one hundred percent, so you might see you more
- 14:26Speaker 2: Kelly than you would on a normal week, but it's
- 14:28Speaker 2: not gonna be enough for him to really get I
- 14:30Speaker 2: think a big number fantasy wise. So if you can
- 14:33Speaker 2: avoid Josh Kelly, which probably can, I would do that
- 14:37Speaker 2: even against the Raider defense. Speaking of running backs who
- 14:40Speaker 2: have underperformed Derrick Henry, what about l Trectorcito against the Bengals.
- 14:44Speaker 3: He bounces back this week. I think he was the
- 14:47Speaker 3: RB eight the first two weeks of the season, just
- 14:49Speaker 3: had a down Week three, And again I don't really
- 14:52Speaker 3: think it's all on him. I think it's more on
- 14:54Speaker 3: the state of this offense right now. But the Bengals
- 14:57Speaker 3: are a good matchup. They've allowed the second most rushing
- 15:00Speaker 3: coming into Week four at over one hundred and fifty
- 15:03Speaker 3: per game, and if Joe Burrow struggles, this will be
- 15:05Speaker 3: a close game, which means a favorable game script. For
- 15:08Speaker 3: Derrick Henry. You can't keep kings down for too long.
- 15:11Speaker 2: So Derek Henry hopefully back on the goodfoot. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs,
- 15:16Speaker 2: or as Ron Bergety may say, Josh Jacobs, it's a soft.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Jay against the Chargers.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I am on board, and I know it has not
- 15:23Speaker 2: been the greatest start to the season for Josh Jacobs.
- 15:25Speaker 2: It just feels like he's sort of ramping up as
- 15:28Speaker 2: though the first three weeks of the season have been
- 15:30Speaker 2: the preseason, and I guess for him it has been
- 15:32Speaker 2: because he didn't get to work out with the team.
- 15:34Speaker 1: A season high sixty two.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Rushing yards last week, I think he really gets going
- 15:39Speaker 2: against a Charger run defense that has been pretty awful
- 15:42Speaker 2: actually for the last couple of years.
- 15:43Speaker 1: So I feel okay about Josh Jacobs.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Speaking of running backs, Peo will dive into some starts
- 15:49Speaker 2: sits at that position after the break, plus heading to
- 15:52Speaker 2: clip up, So stick around for more of the stardum
- 15:54Speaker 2: sittam show, start them, sit them running backs for Week four,
- 16:03Speaker 2: Floria walk us through it.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Both Dolphin running backs are in play this week. Alvin Kamara,
- 16:09Speaker 3: he's back for the Saints. He should be back, and
- 16:11Speaker 3: you're starting lineups, and I'm sticking with James Cook, who
- 16:14Speaker 3: has been really good despite not scoring a touchdown, and
- 16:17Speaker 3: then some sits Brian Robinson Junior just because of game script,
- 16:20Speaker 3: Breeze Hall because of Jets, and Gus Edwards in a
- 16:23Speaker 3: tough matchup against the Browns.
- 16:25Speaker 2: All right, let's get through some of these dvaan A
- 16:27Speaker 2: Chain you mentioned him, I mean he and the Dolphins
- 16:30Speaker 2: just went nuclear last week against the Denver Broncos. How
- 16:34Speaker 2: do you feel about him against the Bills run defense
- 16:36Speaker 2: that has not given up a touchdown on the ground
- 16:39Speaker 2: this year.
- 16:39Speaker 3: That'll probably change this week. I think I am excited
- 16:42Speaker 3: to get both of the Dolphins running backs mostart and
- 16:45Speaker 3: almost said A chain again, A Chan into your lineup.
- 16:49Speaker 1: There.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Look, they both just went for over forty five fantasy points.
- 16:53Speaker 3: We know the upside that they each bring. But the
- 16:56Speaker 3: Bills have allowed a league high five point nine yards
- 16:59Speaker 3: per carry to running backs this season, and I can
- 17:01Speaker 3: tell you firsthand they particularly struggle against speed, and this
- 17:05Speaker 3: backfield is built off speed. So I'm excited to get
- 17:08Speaker 3: both of these Dolphins running backs into my lineup in
- 17:11Speaker 3: what is going to be a score fest.
- 17:12Speaker 1: A Chan four Chan shin Chan, all of them entertaining
- 17:15Speaker 1: at this point.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Alvin Kamara going against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, making his
- 17:19Speaker 2: return after a three game suspension.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I have lots of lineups that I am excited to
- 17:24Speaker 1: put him in. How are you feeling about him this week?
- 17:27Speaker 3: Just like you, I have a lot of lineups where
- 17:29Speaker 3: I am excited to put Alvin Kamara in there. And
- 17:31Speaker 3: given the state of the running back position, I'm sure
- 17:34Speaker 3: many of you out there are in the same position.
- 17:37Speaker 3: And coming into Week three, the Bucks run defense did
- 17:40Speaker 3: look tough and then DeAndre Swift gun him for a
- 17:42Speaker 3: buck thirty. The Eagles as a team went for over
- 17:44Speaker 3: two hundred and Alvin Kamara he knows this run defense
- 17:48Speaker 3: very well. He has scored ten career touchdowns against them.
- 17:51Speaker 3: There's a bunch of volume up for grabs right now
- 17:54Speaker 3: in that backfield with Jamal Williams' sideline, I am very,
- 17:57Speaker 3: very excited to start Alvin Kamara.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Through three weeks, the Saints leading rusher is taste some
- 18:01Speaker 2: hill with ninety one yards.
- 18:03Speaker 1: That means they need some bity to run the football.
- 18:06Speaker 2: If I can make a request, though, Jamis Winston, how
- 18:08Speaker 2: about you mix in a few dumpoffs too.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I mean, we love the yolo balls. Well, you get
- 18:11Speaker 1: a few short.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Throws to Alvin Kamara, that would be great. I had
- 18:15Speaker 2: a moment of sadness earlier in this show for Garrett Wilson.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I should probably have another moment of sadness right now
- 18:20Speaker 2: for Breese Hall.
- 18:22Speaker 1: We should just pour one out for him? Or is
- 18:23Speaker 1: their hope this week?
- 18:25Speaker 3: This week, I think you gotta pour one out from
- 18:27Speaker 3: Breese Hall and sit him because week one he opened
- 18:31Speaker 3: up great with those two long runs. Since then he
- 18:34Speaker 3: has scored single digit Fantasy points in his last ten
- 18:37Speaker 3: quarters played. He got more volume last week, still only
- 18:41Speaker 3: turned it into twenty seven yards. The Chiefs have allowed
- 18:44Speaker 3: the fourth fewest Fantasy points to running backs, and then
- 18:47Speaker 3: you add in that Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelcey are
- 18:49Speaker 3: on the other side. With the extra motivation of Taylor
- 18:52Speaker 3: Swift watching them, they are going to put up a
- 18:54Speaker 3: lot of points. I think the Jets are gonna be
- 18:56Speaker 3: playing ketchup, which means they probably have to abandon the run.
- 19:05Speaker 1: All right.
- 19:05Speaker 2: We are happy to welcome in researcher, rams fan and
- 19:09Speaker 2: jack of all trades Lakwan Jones.
- 19:11Speaker 1: You can find him on Twitter at Real Deal Fantasy.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Welcome to the show Man going on.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Man, glad to be here.
- 19:16Speaker 2: We happy to have you here, so we wanted to
- 19:18Speaker 2: bring you in talk about some guys that absolutely have
- 19:21Speaker 2: to be in lineups this week. So please, if you
- 19:23Speaker 2: would like, give us your must start five of the week.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean starting at five. Evan Ingram. I think
- 19:30Speaker 4: this is a game where you can start all your
- 19:32Speaker 4: Jacks players confidently, and Evan Ingram is a solid play
- 19:35Speaker 4: this week versus the Falcons. Falcons are tied fourth in
- 19:38Speaker 4: the most receptions allowed to tight ends this season, and
- 19:40Speaker 4: he's coming off of back to back games with eight
- 19:42Speaker 4: targets and a healthy target share. I like his upside
- 19:45Speaker 4: this week coming in at number four. I got Adam
- 19:48Speaker 4: Thielen versus the Vikings the revenge game. Dealan's gonna go
- 19:51Speaker 4: out there to show that old man Theeling still got
- 19:54Speaker 4: the juice. Vikings are allowing the third most Fantasy points
- 19:57Speaker 4: were game to wide receivers and allow on the second
- 19:59Speaker 4: high completion percentage at seventy six percent. Dealer remains the
- 20:03Speaker 4: target hag of this offense with a healthy twenty percent
- 20:06Speaker 4: target share. Found the volume here for sure, coming at
- 20:09Speaker 4: at number three, I got Tank Dell going up against
- 20:12Speaker 4: his Pittsburgh secondary. I'm buying into this rookie hype. Back
- 20:15Speaker 4: to back games, Dell has had over seventy receiving yards
- 20:18Speaker 4: and has found the end zone in each of those games.
- 20:21Speaker 4: A lot of this is motivated on how CJ. Stroud
- 20:23Speaker 4: and this Texans offense has been clicking. Hoping this rookie
- 20:27Speaker 4: to rookie connection remains strong this week. Coming at number two,
- 20:30Speaker 4: t Higgins is a start for me against his Titans defense.
- 20:33Speaker 4: You could say I'm buying into this conspiracy theory that
- 20:36Speaker 4: he's on a hot and cold streak right now. This
- 20:38Speaker 4: Titans defense would be the game for Higgins to bounce back.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Titans have allowed the fourth most fantasy points per game
- 20:43Speaker 4: to wide receivers this season. Here, I'm banking on the
- 20:46Speaker 4: talent for Higgins to show up and show out. Coming
- 20:48Speaker 4: at number one, I got to Kobe Myers versus the Chargers.
- 20:52Speaker 4: He's probably the most underrated wide receiver in the game
- 20:54Speaker 4: right now, He's bowling out and every time he's on
- 20:56Speaker 4: the field, and he's currently wide receiver five right now
- 21:00Speaker 4: points per game. This Raiders offense is looking like it's
- 21:02Speaker 4: running through him and DeVante Adams. He's holding his own.
- 21:06Speaker 4: This is a bad, bad Chargers defense right now, which
- 21:09Speaker 4: is allowing the most touchdowns, yards, and fantasy points per
- 21:12Speaker 4: game to wide receivers. So I'm loading up Jacobe Myers
- 21:15Speaker 4: no matter who's the quarterback on Sunday.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I really love Jacobe Myers this week.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I hope it's Jimmy Garoppolo, but if it's Brian hoyeror
- 21:21Speaker 2: even Aidan O'Connell, I think there's still some opportunity for
- 21:24Speaker 2: Myers against the Bolts. Hey put on our buffalo andos
- 21:28Speaker 2: we just got from Oak Tree.
- 21:29Speaker 1: We are going to Club Dub.
- 21:32Speaker 3: We're gonna open up the ropes.
- 21:33Speaker 2: And see who's gonna score us twenty five or more
- 21:35Speaker 2: Fantasy points this week. So, as the guest, the floor
- 21:39Speaker 2: is yours. Who's getting to the Club Dub this week?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Listen, We're going Dereck Henry.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Listen.
- 21:43Speaker 4: The King returns back to the club like he's never left.
- 21:46Speaker 4: I mean, tough game last week against the Browns, but listen,
- 21:49Speaker 4: this is the bounce back game he needs against the Bengals,
- 21:51Speaker 4: who haven't really faced a real running back threat these
- 21:54Speaker 4: past two weeks. The key to victory to this game
- 21:57Speaker 4: right now is to run the ball, simple as that,
- 21:59Speaker 4: and who else could you rely on to do it
- 22:02Speaker 4: the best? In this run first offense?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Right?
- 22:04Speaker 4: I mean the first two weeks of football, the Bengals
- 22:06Speaker 4: have allowed nine rushes of ten plus yards to running backs,
- 22:09Speaker 4: which was tied first in the NFL at that time.
- 22:12Speaker 4: The Bengals are currently tied fourth in the NFL and
- 22:14Speaker 4: misstackles as well. And we all know how hard it
- 22:16Speaker 4: is to tackle the King, so I expect the Titans
- 22:19Speaker 4: to lean on him in this offense to get back
- 22:21Speaker 4: on track. So it's a full send for Derek Henry
- 22:23Speaker 4: this week.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yeah, listen to Lakwan. He has clubbed at DJ's before,
- 22:27Speaker 3: so he knows a thing or two about clubs. For me,
- 22:31Speaker 3: I think it is this man's number one wide receiver,
- 22:34Speaker 3: Keenan Allen, who is gonna help you get into the
- 22:37Speaker 3: club this week. Look, Keenan Allen has given you over
- 22:39Speaker 3: thirty Fantasy points in two straight games already. He is
- 22:43Speaker 3: a target vacuum. And then he's now has no Mike Williams,
- 22:47Speaker 3: so that could mean even more volume going his way.
- 22:50Speaker 3: The Raiders give up a bunch of production they've allowed
- 22:52Speaker 3: these second most touchdowns to wide receivers. Look, Keenan Allen
- 22:56Speaker 3: can even throw touchdowns, he doesn't catch up keep roding
- 22:59Speaker 3: with Keenan.
- 23:00Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go with the guy.
- 23:01Speaker 2: He hasn't been to the club in a while, but
- 23:03Speaker 2: as always, you know, he's always thinking about it at least,
- 23:05Speaker 2: and that's Jamar Chase.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It's been a rough start for the Bengals. They look
- 23:10Speaker 1: like they were.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Ready to go club and though in those all white
- 23:12Speaker 2: unis last week against the Rams, still though didn't quite
- 23:15Speaker 2: work out. But this week they have got the Tennessee Titans.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That is a get right game for passing games that
- 23:21Speaker 2: are struggling, and certainly that does apply to the Cincinnati Bengals. Look,
- 23:26Speaker 2: I guess I should be correcting myself because he did
- 23:28Speaker 2: get in the club last week twenty six points. So
- 23:30Speaker 2: maybe he's gonna go back to back weeks. You know,
- 23:31Speaker 2: it's hard to go clubbing every single week. Sometimes you
- 23:33Speaker 2: gotta rest up when you haven't been there in a while.
- 23:36Speaker 2: It's kind of fun to go in consecutive all weekend.
- 23:38Speaker 2: So I think Jamar Chase gets back in there. I
- 23:41Speaker 2: think you see plenty of targets and maybe he finally
- 23:43Speaker 2: gets a big play, it finally gets in the end
- 23:45Speaker 2: zone because he has not done that. He's gotten in
- 23:47Speaker 2: the club, hasn't gotten in the end zone. I think
- 23:50Speaker 2: that happens for him in Week four against the Tennessee Titans.
- 23:53Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Those the guys that'll have you clubbing and dancing and
- 23:57Speaker 2: popping bottles coming up this weekend for your fantasy team.
- 24:00Speaker 1: That's it.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Uh. We appreciate you hanging out with us. LaQuan man
- 24:02Speaker 2: hopefully can get you get back at some point.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Absolutely, Man, I'm always free him around the off.
- 24:06Speaker 1: It's just just walk.
- 24:08Speaker 2: We're just gonna grab him from like the commissary and
- 24:10Speaker 2: have him sit down and come starts and sits for us.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Uh. That'll do it for this edition of the Stardom
- 24:14Speaker 1: Cinam Show.
- 24:15Speaker 2: We appreciate you hanging out with us for la Quan,
- 24:17Speaker 2: for Florio, I am Marcus.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Enjoy the weekend everybody, and we'll talk to you again
- 24:21Speaker 1: real soon.
