Adoption into God's family means the Father looks on us with the same delight He has always had for His Son. Our worth before Him is no longer tied to our performance, because our standing is secured by union with the Beloved. Every failure and every fear is now reframed by this settled reality—we are loved with the love the Father has for Christ.
