- 0:00Speaker 1: Yo, we're back again, another episode of The Grounded Show,
- 0:03Speaker 1: number one thirty one. I believe it's.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Been a minute.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a little minute. We're back, you know,
- 0:10Speaker 1: dealing with a couple of little things, but we're back again.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Man.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Actually, we'll jump right into one of the first topics.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Man.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Shout out to Jari Man.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he had a little post recently, little inspirational posts. Yeah.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Man, Jari's a comedian out here in Orlando doing big things, man.
- 0:26Speaker 1: And he actually had a post just talking about how
- 0:29Speaker 1: people like with podcasts and stuff like, it's kind of
- 0:32Speaker 1: like a flawed system a little bit because like when
- 0:34Speaker 1: you make it like episodic like every week or whatever,
- 0:37Speaker 1: the case, is.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Too concerned that it's about putting our content it's quality
- 0:40Speaker 2: content or not. You get caught up in like the
- 0:42Speaker 2: content algorithm thing, and you kind of like lose the
- 0:45Speaker 2: effect of like the stuff you're saying and what you're
- 0:48Speaker 2: doing and everything. You're putting something out just to put
- 0:50Speaker 2: it out.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and that that is funny because that was something
- 0:53Speaker 1: that we actually kind of talked about when we were
- 0:55Speaker 1: like retooling how we were going to take a few
- 0:57Speaker 1: days before Yeah, literally and it's kind of that same
- 1:00Speaker 1: idea like with the podcast, like we're kind of I
- 1:03Speaker 1: feel like we're kind of shifting out of that era
- 1:05Speaker 1: where like people are just doing like content based stuff,
- 1:09Speaker 1: like just got to get content content, and we got.
- 1:11Speaker 2: To get clips out, We got to be in the
- 1:12Speaker 2: algorithm every single day, every single second, Like we kind
- 1:17Speaker 2: of reanalyze what we're trying to do in our path
- 1:21Speaker 2: forward and we're like, you know what, I think it's
- 1:23Speaker 2: we got to focus more on the quality of it. Yeah, facts,
- 1:27Speaker 2: and even like.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Even just the idea of like they were putting so
- 1:32Speaker 1: much money I feel like into promoting content like online,
- 1:36Speaker 1: Like even for example, I always related back to music,
- 1:38Speaker 1: Like even like with the record labels, they were like
- 1:41Speaker 1: on this real big kick where they were like putting
- 1:43Speaker 1: a lot of money into like the digital footprint of
- 1:47Speaker 1: like the artists they was pushing and stuff. And now
- 1:50Speaker 1: you see like major artists like on threads, Instagram, TikTok, whatever,
- 1:56Speaker 1: you'll see their pages and they got like, you know,
- 1:58Speaker 1: less than a thousand, like you know what I mean,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Like the views ain't like what they used to be,
- 2:03Speaker 1: and people are like people that don't know kind of
- 2:06Speaker 1: like put that together with like, oh, they're not as
- 2:07Speaker 1: popular as they want.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it's not like that.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And it's that thing, bro, like people really don't understand
- 2:13Speaker 1: how much things are just like the money that's being
- 2:15Speaker 1: put behind it, you know what I mean.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I have it. Like on YouTube, for example, I
- 2:20Speaker 2: have a ton of people I subscribed. It's not even
- 2:23Speaker 2: a ton. Let me just say that I have like
- 2:26Speaker 2: maybe two dozen people I subscribe to, and they just
- 2:29Speaker 2: try to put so much content out that I get
- 2:33Speaker 2: lost in what's actually valuable for me to watch. Like
- 2:36Speaker 2: I want to see a fresh episode, and I have
- 2:38Speaker 2: like a best stuff episode or a recap episode or
- 2:41Speaker 2: rewind episode. It's like I wish I could just go
- 2:44Speaker 2: to my subscriptions and just see the brand new, full
- 2:47Speaker 2: episode of the people I subscribe to, But there's so
- 2:50Speaker 2: much with the videos and the recaps and the reels
- 2:54Speaker 2: and the shorts, like I can't eat. I have to
- 2:56Speaker 2: go scroll down probably ten times to find the actual
- 2:59Speaker 2: episode of their latest episode of watch, and I feel
- 3:02Speaker 2: like there's so much it doesn't even fit in algorithm anymore.
- 3:04Speaker 2: And I don't even subscribe to that many people.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Yeah, and it becomes this thing where it's like you're
- 3:09Speaker 1: almost just trying to pass the time with the content
- 3:11Speaker 1: as opposed to like really getting anything from it, you
- 3:14Speaker 1: know what I mean. And it really shows in a
- 3:18Speaker 1: lot of the stuff that you watch and listen to,
- 3:20Speaker 1: Like you'll see, for example, like there's certain comedians that
- 3:25Speaker 1: have podcasts, like for example, like Theo Vaughn, Like, I
- 3:28Speaker 1: feel like he's gotten to a point where like he's
- 3:31Speaker 1: just doing it because it's a successful vehicle for him.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It helps him sell the shows and stuff. And then
- 3:36Speaker 1: you start seeing certain people that he's interviewing, and like
- 3:39Speaker 1: you hear the vibe of the interviews and you can
- 3:41Speaker 1: tell that it's not the same feeling as before, because
- 3:44Speaker 1: it's just like he's just already monetized it and got
- 3:47Speaker 1: it to a point where it just turned into something like.
- 3:49Speaker 2: He's exactly just what he's Like, he had the Riz
- 3:53Speaker 2: boy on there, he had a random homish boy on there,
- 3:56Speaker 2: just like random stuff. It's stuff that he doesn't have
- 3:59Speaker 2: to do reviews and stuff that he're here, here's an episode,
- 4:02Speaker 2: people are gonna watch it.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And I feel like it's even like one of
- 4:06Speaker 1: those things where it's just you have to put it out,
- 4:09Speaker 1: so yeah, you just grab whatever whoever wants to come
- 4:12Speaker 1: on as long as they got enough cloud or whatever,
- 4:14Speaker 1: like you'll rock with it, you know what I mean.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Even like said, hey, the Cardi B album drop, we're
- 4:20Speaker 1: recording this on a Friday.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Oh that's right, yep, damn.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And she was even talking about how, like in an
- 4:25Speaker 1: interview with The Breakfast Club, she kind of mentioned how
- 4:28Speaker 1: the label still believes in her and still like puts
- 4:31Speaker 1: money behind her and stuff like that. And it's because
- 4:33Speaker 1: like she got that organic thing where people walk with her.
- 4:36Speaker 2: People are just gonna live if.
- 4:37Speaker 1: They weren't dropping like crazy amount of money. She just
- 4:40Speaker 1: got that like authentic kind of style that people rock
- 4:43Speaker 1: with her. So obviously the labels still going to push
- 4:45Speaker 1: that because they know their dollar's going to go farther
- 4:47Speaker 1: because it's already gonna work just because it's her. You know.
- 4:50Speaker 2: That's that's a funny thing. You mentioned Cardi B. Because
- 4:52Speaker 2: something that saw that was rare out of all the
- 4:54Speaker 2: outlets and like the podcast, because you know, everybody does
- 4:57Speaker 2: a podcast roll out and all the features in every
- 5:00Speaker 2: everything she did, like an Apple one interview with Kelly Rowland. Yeah,
- 5:05Speaker 2: I just thought that was rare, like for her demographic
- 5:09Speaker 2: and all the lanes she could choose as part of
- 5:13Speaker 2: her rollout. She chose Apple one with Kelly Rowland, and
- 5:16Speaker 2: it wasn't the best interview. It was good, but it's
- 5:19Speaker 2: like that that combination of them too just didn't mix
- 5:24Speaker 2: like I would figure she'd go on some more hip
- 5:27Speaker 2: hop related, you know, podcasts, or some more hip hop artists,
- 5:31Speaker 2: but she shows that label, I mean, that outlet, and
- 5:35Speaker 2: it was so successful everybody still watched it and everybody
- 5:37Speaker 2: still enjoyed it.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it might even just been one of those things
- 5:40Speaker 1: that she rocks with Kelly Rowland.
- 5:41Speaker 2: You know what I mean. If you watch that, they
- 5:44Speaker 2: you could tell that they know energy. Yeah, they know
- 5:47Speaker 2: nothing of Kelly Rowland didn't even know how to respond
- 5:49Speaker 2: to some of Cardi B's responses. She's like, uh, well.
- 5:53Speaker 1: If it's I don't know really anything about Kelly Rowland's podcast,
- 5:56Speaker 1: but if it's an Apple podcast, I'm pretty sure.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it was still successful. But that's why I.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Think, well, not even just the successful aspect of it,
- 6:04Speaker 1: Like I'm pretty sure it was just like, Yo.
- 6:05Speaker 2: You're gonna do this interview. Okay, it's a music streaming service.
- 6:09Speaker 2: You're dropping the album, like you're gonna do this interview,
- 6:12Speaker 2: but like, you know, Summer Walker has a show and
- 6:16Speaker 2: Summer Walker's on the album, Like why didn't she do that?
- 6:19Speaker 2: That would have been the perfect mix right there, you know,
- 6:22Speaker 2: and she didn't choose that. Instead she went with the
- 6:24Speaker 2: Kelly Rowland on the album.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Man, speaking of interview choices, thog the Dame Dash Breakfast
- 6:30Speaker 1: Club interview.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that was something else, yo.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I Actually so like the Breakfast Club, they'll drop their
- 6:35Speaker 1: interviews as like part of the show and just the interview,
- 6:38Speaker 1: so you get the whole interview, not necessarily for like
- 6:42Speaker 1: the like the knowledge from it, but just like for
- 6:46Speaker 1: me to want to hear it. I listened to the
- 6:47Speaker 1: whole interview, bro, and it's one It's crazy to me
- 6:52Speaker 1: how like split people are about it, because I honestly
- 6:56Speaker 1: thought it was gonna be like a thing where people
- 6:57Speaker 1: were just like, yo, he what is he saying against them?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Against Dane? But like a lot of the comments that
- 7:03Speaker 1: you read, people are like, nah, he's valid, y'all just
- 7:06Speaker 1: not listening this, this and that. And it's like I
- 7:09Speaker 1: feel like people get it confused a little bit because
- 7:11Speaker 1: it's like he could be saying like the stuff he
- 7:14Speaker 1: could be saying could be valid, but we talking about
- 7:17Speaker 1: it from the lens of like his situation, what he's
- 7:20Speaker 1: going through, Like you don't want I don't know, at
- 7:24Speaker 1: least for me, bro, Like anytime that I see wisdom
- 7:28Speaker 1: from somebody, I want it from somebody that is doing
- 7:31Speaker 1: something or living a life that I aspire to get to,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like when I see Dame,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I don't see somebody not at all be like Dame Dash,
- 7:41Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 7:42Speaker 2: And it's just funny. Man, he saying like he's a
- 7:44Speaker 2: president of Revolt and he's not even that. They came
- 7:47Speaker 2: out and said that, no, he's not, and.
- 7:49Speaker 1: He didn't even try to frame it like, oh, it's
- 7:51Speaker 1: just because they do this thing where they have like
- 7:53Speaker 1: interim like quote unquote CEOs with they't like run it
- 7:56Speaker 1: quote unquote for a month like a promo type thing.
- 8:00Speaker 1: He didn't even say that, and that's what I thought.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm like, maybe he's talking about that, but he's trying
- 8:04Speaker 1: to guess it. But then revol came and was like,
- 8:06Speaker 1: it's not even that, Like you're not even doing that
- 8:08Speaker 1: at all, you know what I mean. So it's kind
- 8:09Speaker 1: of like Bro, there's one thing about like just talking
- 8:15Speaker 1: and trying to sound like you know what you're talking about.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And he might like there is some stuff that he
- 8:20Speaker 1: talked about that was valid, like just certain technical things,
- 8:23Speaker 1: certain things here and there. But it's like, Bro, you're
- 8:24Speaker 1: not talking about what you're really going through, you know
- 8:27Speaker 1: what I mean, Like this is not your situation. You're saying, Oh,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you don't know about X, Y and Z. You might
- 8:32Speaker 1: know about it, but you're not making no money off
- 8:35Speaker 1: it because you're not living how you say you acting
- 8:37Speaker 1: like you're living.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Bro, No, not at all. And this is my thing
- 8:39Speaker 2: about Dame Dash It's like, as I think his approach
- 8:43Speaker 2: is he's trying to aspire people, but at the same
- 8:46Speaker 2: time he's putting down a bigger demographic outside of the way,
- 8:49Speaker 2: Like you're trying to say, if you don't run a business,
- 8:51Speaker 2: you ain't you ain't nothing, you know what I'm saying,
- 8:53Speaker 2: Like you're just you're working for the man, you ain't
- 8:56Speaker 2: the man. But at the same time, you can't have
- 8:59Speaker 2: a business is without people like that who's gonna work
- 9:01Speaker 2: for you and put that work in for you, Like
- 9:03Speaker 2: you can't you can't diss the people that are going
- 9:06Speaker 2: to make you have a successful business, that are going
- 9:08Speaker 2: to work for your business and do that. And that's
- 9:10Speaker 2: the only thing that I do not like about his messages.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And the thing I don't like about Dame either is
- 9:15Speaker 1: like he's preaching this message of like being a certain way,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and he kind of his brand right now is kind
- 9:25Speaker 1: of like I left the mainstream, but I'm still doing
- 9:28Speaker 1: it bigger than the main exactly. And it's like, Bro,
- 9:33Speaker 1: it's cool you want to preach. Oh you know I didn't.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I didn't follow like everybody else followed. But then you're
- 9:38Speaker 1: still asking for the support from the mainstream platforms. You
- 9:42Speaker 1: still wanting to be on shows like the Breath, Like, Bro,
- 9:45Speaker 1: if it's me and I'm making the money that he's saying,
- 9:48Speaker 1: he's making, you think I'm gonna go on the breakfast
- 9:50Speaker 1: club to explain myself exactly, Like I'm gonna go to
- 9:52Speaker 1: the breakfast you know, I really do got money? Like bro,
- 9:55Speaker 1: if you really do got money.
- 9:56Speaker 2: He's over explaining himself. He's trying to figure a point
- 9:59Speaker 2: that shit naturally be projected if you are at that
- 10:02Speaker 2: status coming in a three piece suit. You know what
- 10:05Speaker 2: I'm saying, Birdman is at that status. He came in
- 10:07Speaker 2: the T shirt and some jeans and the chain. No,
- 10:09Speaker 2: he didn't have to explain to nobody how big he was.
- 10:11Speaker 1: He didn't explain nothing. He just.
- 10:14Speaker 2: But I think a person that's his level, he didn't
- 10:17Speaker 2: have to explain that, and he came in and talked
- 10:19Speaker 2: to he talked his talk whatever he wanted to say.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I feel like Dame Dash tried to do the same
- 10:24Speaker 2: thing Birdman did, but he came in in the three
- 10:27Speaker 2: piece suit trying to prove he was a man, to
- 10:30Speaker 2: justify the reason he was talking to Charlottagne like.
- 10:32Speaker 1: That, yeah, and like kind of like the question I
- 10:34Speaker 1: have from that was do you feel like you need
- 10:37Speaker 1: to explain yourself to people you don't respect?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Not at all?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Because that was like the energy was like I don't
- 10:43Speaker 1: respect y'all, but I'm here explaining myself. And it's like
- 10:46Speaker 1: to me, it's like, bro, if you don't respect people
- 10:49Speaker 1: and you don't think they on the level that you're on,
- 10:50Speaker 1: and you think you're that much smarter, you got that
- 10:52Speaker 1: much more money, you got X, Y and Z, why
- 10:55Speaker 1: are you even in this room? He was in there
- 10:57Speaker 1: like talking about oh this this studio was uninspired. You
- 11:00Speaker 1: guys don't even got a window, this, this and that whatever.
- 11:02Speaker 2: But it's like, you know what that's you know what
- 11:04Speaker 2: that is to me projecting Yeah.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And it's like you pulled up though you know what
- 11:07Speaker 1: I mean, Like you.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Can't pull up. There's a reason you're here.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And needing their reach, but then trying to like downplay it.
- 11:12Speaker 2: And that's what I think. I think he's at a
- 11:14Speaker 2: state and I don't like that he's at this state
- 11:18Speaker 2: at such an older age, with what he has accomplished
- 11:21Speaker 2: in the past. Maybe he's not camplishing accomplishing the day,
- 11:24Speaker 2: but he came in there because you know, he's been
- 11:26Speaker 2: there a bunch of times, and that was with the
- 11:28Speaker 2: old Charlet Mane, with Charlot Mane was just dissing him
- 11:31Speaker 2: like crazy at this point. I think he came in
- 11:33Speaker 2: there to say, oh, you should this him before. You
- 11:36Speaker 2: want to know how successful I am now? This me now,
- 11:39Speaker 2: and I'm a dish you on top of that, why
- 11:41Speaker 2: are you doing that? Like you said, if you don't
- 11:42Speaker 2: respect these dudes, why why do you even have to
- 11:45Speaker 2: prove that point on the breakfast club to them?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Exactly? Especially if you're doing what you say you're doing
- 11:50Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And another thing that's kind
- 11:53Speaker 1: of like tied into that is like you see somebody
- 11:56Speaker 1: like dam and how he's gone about his business like
- 11:59Speaker 1: after or his height as far as like celebrity and
- 12:03Speaker 1: like things that he's done or whatever. And then you
- 12:05Speaker 1: got other people like Pharrell, the Clips, you know what
- 12:08Speaker 1: I mean, never to do that. They had that concert
- 12:10Speaker 1: at the Vatican, first first of its kind, you know
- 12:13Speaker 1: what I mean. It was called Grace for the World Concert.
- 12:17Speaker 1: They had a performance at the Vatican with a whole
- 12:18Speaker 1: bunch of other apps there. The Clips performed there with
- 12:22Speaker 1: John Legend.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Verste sing That was beautiful man, and it was I
- 12:26Speaker 2: got chills. I'm not gonna lie. I got chills.
- 12:28Speaker 1: It was. And it's crazy because like the chills are justified.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It's like, Bro, that's the Vatican. Bro, Like this is
- 12:33Speaker 1: a place that's been.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Like a hundred people, choir more probably more. That choir
- 12:39Speaker 2: was so big, John Legend on the piano starting it off,
- 12:43Speaker 2: just them in their suits, just big stage three people.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Like I think it was set up perfectly.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I always respect Malice and how he like stuck to
- 12:53Speaker 1: his guns and really said that I'm not gonna rap
- 12:56Speaker 1: unless the situation is how I wanted to be, because
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm one hundred percent sure if Malice didn't take that stance,
- 13:04Speaker 1: they're not going to have the resurgence they're having now.
- 13:06Speaker 1: They're not performing at the Vatican, you know what I mean?
- 13:08Speaker 1: You know what it's kept. It would have just kept
- 13:11Speaker 1: going to status quo.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You made a good point about Malice, and I didn't
- 13:15Speaker 2: even realize that until you said it. He also is
- 13:17Speaker 2: kind of showing that he's not stepping away from religion
- 13:21Speaker 2: because that was that was the reason he left. Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 2: he's still about the religion, but he's not. He's rapping
- 13:28Speaker 2: again and that's it.
- 13:30Speaker 1: And man, speaking of religion, dog Canelo found God last week.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Bro, Man, Yo, you know what?
- 13:38Speaker 1: What's something crazy about the Crawford and Canelo fight? And
- 13:41Speaker 1: it's funny because like you choose. This is a sidebar,
- 13:45Speaker 1: but you know that's how you're pick and choose if
- 13:47Speaker 1: you call somebody by the first or last name, depending
- 13:49Speaker 1: on how cool it sounds, you know what I mean,
- 13:51Speaker 1: Like I'm calling Crawford Crawford, but Canelo, it don't even
- 13:54Speaker 1: make sense. But anyway, so you watch that fight and
- 13:58Speaker 1: even just the talk leading up to the I found
- 14:00Speaker 1: it super interesting that they brought up age an attrition
- 14:04Speaker 1: so much with Canelo, but Crawford was older than him
- 14:07Speaker 1: by two years, bro like, and that's something that just
- 14:10Speaker 1: me not really paying attention to the age thing. I'm
- 14:14Speaker 1: listening to the narrative, and then when it shows the
- 14:17Speaker 1: tell of the tape, I'm like, hold on, Crawford two
- 14:20Speaker 1: years older than connect is. So it kind of like
- 14:24Speaker 1: I was one of those that I was like, I
- 14:26Speaker 1: thought Crawford was gonna win, but I thought it was
- 14:29Speaker 1: gonna be like very technical, but.
- 14:33Speaker 2: You don't think it was.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think it was technical from the
- 14:36Speaker 1: point of view of like like he was hitting him, bro. Like,
- 14:40Speaker 1: if Connelo was a lesser fighter, bro, he would have
- 14:43Speaker 1: went down, bro because Crawford was hitting him with some
- 14:46Speaker 1: fucking shots. Like it was he he ain't looked like
- 14:50Speaker 1: this quote unquote smaller like less experienced fighter.
- 14:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Connelo came at him and said, you like you mentioned
- 14:57Speaker 1: who you fought, you ain't fought nobody, And Crawford was like,
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'm fighting you like you gonna see like you saying
- 15:04Speaker 1: I ain't found nobody and you're gonna see when I
- 15:06Speaker 1: fight you. And he really did show him, bro, Like
- 15:10Speaker 1: I was, like I said, I thought Crawford would win,
- 15:12Speaker 1: but I thought it would be more more strategic, not
- 15:15Speaker 1: saying it wasn't strategic, but I feel like he really
- 15:19Speaker 1: like went at him, you know what I mean, and
- 15:21Speaker 1: like he was just on the offensive and really just
- 15:25Speaker 1: controlling the fight. But like the whole fight, bro, Like
- 15:28Speaker 1: there wasn't like here and there. It wasn't like, oh,
- 15:29Speaker 1: let me feel you out. No, it was like, bro,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I'm standing here and I'm taking control of this fight.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Ye and Canelo really couldn't do nothing about it now.
- 15:38Speaker 2: And I got the most respect for Canal, like he's
- 15:40Speaker 2: he is one of my favorite fighters ever since he
- 15:43Speaker 2: took the fight against Floyd Mayweather at twenty four years
- 15:46Speaker 2: old when he was undefeated, Like there was no reason
- 15:49Speaker 2: he should have took that fight, and I think that
- 15:52Speaker 2: is what launched him into his legacy that he's you know,
- 15:56Speaker 2: creating now. Even Floyd told him after the fight, like
- 15:59Speaker 2: I'm handing this or off to you, like you're the
- 16:01Speaker 2: next one up after I'm gone, it's you, and Canelo
- 16:04Speaker 2: did that, and Canelo went and captured all these belts,
- 16:10Speaker 2: and he still gave Crawford a chance to take all
- 16:12Speaker 2: the belts from him. I think Canelo underestimated the thirst
- 16:19Speaker 2: that Crawford will have to knock him out. So I
- 16:22Speaker 2: think he thought, oh, he's gonna come in here try
- 16:24Speaker 2: to knock me out. I'm gonna wear him out. And
- 16:26Speaker 2: Crawford said, now, I'm gonna come in here and bully you,
- 16:30Speaker 2: fact and just bully you. And that was the smartest
- 16:32Speaker 2: decision that Crawford made. And that's what I loved about
- 16:35Speaker 2: the fight.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Man, it's like a weird thing in boxing right
- 16:39Speaker 1: now because man, for lack of a better term, I mean, obviously,
- 16:43Speaker 1: I know boxers are skilled or whatever, but I just
- 16:46Speaker 1: feel like there's a lot of bums in boxing right now. Yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 1: it's all like and it's kind of going back what
- 16:50Speaker 1: we was talking about with content and all that stuff.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Is like I feel like it's starting to kind of
- 16:54Speaker 1: move from that, like, Yo, let me just have a
- 16:57Speaker 1: nice looking record and have a good image.
- 17:00Speaker 2: That's it, right, and I'll get the big fights.
- 17:02Speaker 1: It's kind of changed into like now we're seeing like,
- 17:06Speaker 1: for example, you think about like the last like five
- 17:09Speaker 1: to seven years of quote unquote mega fights. Yeah, so
- 17:12Speaker 1: it was a lot of unproven fighters that like got chances.
- 17:16Speaker 1: They got chances, and even like bro like even that
- 17:19Speaker 1: whole run of like Roly Romero, Buddy the light Skin,
- 17:26Speaker 1: uh the Lightskin dude that was under a Golden Boy
- 17:30Speaker 1: that he ended up getting suspended. He found Givonte Davis.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I forgot his name. Y Garcia, Ryan Garcia. You got
- 17:35Speaker 1: people like that, and it's like they were good fighters,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and I felt like he was a powerful fighter, but
- 17:41Speaker 1: you just kind of saw him moving through the ranks
- 17:43Speaker 1: and you're like, you're fighting Tomato the.
- 17:47Speaker 2: May fight Canelo. I forgot this guy's name because that
- 17:49Speaker 2: was the worst fight ever. He was undefeated. He found
- 17:53Speaker 2: nobody to be undefeated, and they gave him the fight
- 17:55Speaker 2: against Canelo. He ran the entire fight. He just ran.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And now it was so frustrating for and that's because
- 18:01Speaker 2: you're not supposed to fight somebody like that. But because
- 18:04Speaker 2: he has an undefeated record, and everybody has an underfeated
- 18:06Speaker 2: record because they pick and choose people that then keep
- 18:09Speaker 2: the undefeated record with that's oversaturating boxing with undefeated boxers
- 18:15Speaker 2: that are getting these big money shots and they get
- 18:18Speaker 2: these big bags to fight actual elite boxers like Canelo
- 18:24Speaker 2: and it's it's a terrible fight. Yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 1: And then before we was recording, you had asked, like,
- 18:30Speaker 1: is ducking elite opponents done in boxing?
- 18:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:33Speaker 1: And I feel like we're pretty much there because with UFC,
- 18:37Speaker 1: which has been a while that the UFC has been around,
- 18:40Speaker 1: but dog UFC. The matchmaking in UFC is better than
- 18:45Speaker 1: any any boxing.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Because who dan't a White? And who put this Canelo
- 18:49Speaker 2: Quati fight together? White?
- 18:51Speaker 1: And the crazy thing about Dana White is like he
- 18:54Speaker 1: really wanted to be a boxing promoter, but they wouldn't
- 18:56Speaker 1: let him in, so he started going to the MMA
- 18:59Speaker 1: thing and he built that so like it's funny like
- 19:02Speaker 1: boxing being entrenched in the bullshit they're entrenched in. Kind
- 19:06Speaker 1: of like they kind of shot themselves in the foot
- 19:08Speaker 1: because they could have had Dana White running the ship
- 19:11Speaker 1: in boxing and making the making the matchups, doing the
- 19:15Speaker 1: promoting and everything, but since they wanted to stick to
- 19:18Speaker 1: the same script that they've been doing, they kind of
- 19:20Speaker 1: pushed them aside. He built up the UFC and now
- 19:24Speaker 1: boxing without UFC honestly, like what is you know what
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like the only boxing fights that are doing
- 19:30Speaker 1: real big or fights like this, like the Crawford Canelo
- 19:33Speaker 1: one and like crossover fights, you know what I mean.
- 19:36Speaker 1: They're even talking about Suporia fighting Crawford now, like because
- 19:40Speaker 1: there's nobody left.
- 19:40Speaker 2: There's nobody, you know what I mean?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Like, who is Crawford gonna box now? Bro?
- 19:44Speaker 2: And you know what I think? What I like what
- 19:46Speaker 2: Dana White is doing. Oh well, he's been doing it
- 19:49Speaker 2: for a while. After someone wins a big match, he
- 19:53Speaker 2: lets them call whoever they want to fight out and
- 19:56Speaker 2: you hear the fans, the fans want that fight. Then
- 19:59Speaker 2: he puts that fight toge. Boxing hasn't done that. They've
- 20:02Speaker 2: been asking for this fight forever and they finally did it.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Because I think Dana White's in the ear, like give
- 20:07Speaker 2: the fans what they want. That is the fight that
- 20:10Speaker 2: needs to happen. I think that's a difference maker. And
- 20:12Speaker 2: if that could change in boxing, if they could actually
- 20:15Speaker 2: give the fans the matchups and the pay per view
- 20:20Speaker 2: events that they're asking for, that could really change the
- 20:23Speaker 2: demographic of boxing. And like where the landscapeboard's at now
- 20:28Speaker 2: because right now, nobody like boxing.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah, facts, And I'm a boxing fan, bro, And it's
- 20:34Speaker 1: hard for me to like keep up with different things,
- 20:36Speaker 1: not because there's so much of it, because it's not
- 20:38Speaker 1: really like there's a lot of boxing content. It's just
- 20:41Speaker 1: like I said, bro, there's so many bums that I
- 20:43Speaker 1: look at. You know, this guy's twenty some and O
- 20:46Speaker 1: nineteen and all whatever. Then you see him in a
- 20:48Speaker 1: fighting like this guy's undefeated. Like brother, this guy's facts, bro. Facts.
- 20:54Speaker 1: It's just it'd be hard to watch sometimes, like especially
- 20:57Speaker 1: like when you're so used to seeing good fights going
- 21:00Speaker 1: up and now all you see is, you know, just
- 21:02Speaker 1: all these personalities that are making up through the ranks.
- 21:05Speaker 1: You know.
- 21:06Speaker 2: To to close my point, if whether Dana White stays
- 21:12Speaker 2: involved or not, if they keep producing these type of matches,
- 21:16Speaker 2: boxers will be matched up different on the way to
- 21:18Speaker 2: these big matches, and then they'll get better matchups when
- 21:22Speaker 2: they get to these big events like this.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, man, speaking of idiot boxers. Man, Adrian Bruner was
- 21:29Speaker 1: the camera. It is what it is.
- 21:31Speaker 2: It used to be my guy. I'm not gonna lie.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I used to be my guy.
- 21:35Speaker 1: It used to be he's had he's had like an
- 21:37Speaker 1: epic fall off, bro, like over there and it's like
- 21:39Speaker 1: and it's funny because he's not necessarily like a crash
- 21:42Speaker 1: out because it's not like it happens like like back
- 21:45Speaker 1: to back, you know what I mean. It's like you'll
- 21:47Speaker 1: have an incident here eight months later, another one a
- 21:51Speaker 1: year later, another one. Like he always just he's always
- 21:53Speaker 1: in the news for.
- 21:54Speaker 2: The wrong thing. Yeah, that's what it is about him.
- 21:56Speaker 1: And again, Bro, he was on the camera on show
- 22:00Speaker 1: talking to Cameron and Stat Stat is the female co
- 22:03Speaker 1: host of the show, you know what I mean, And
- 22:06Speaker 1: her name is Treasure Wilson, but she goes by Stat.
- 22:10Speaker 2: So she's young, too young, a lot younger than him,
- 22:13Speaker 2: good looking girl.
- 22:14Speaker 1: So he's you know, just being on Hornball Bro the
- 22:18Speaker 1: whole time talking about Oh, she's so.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Beautiful that they couldn't even get through the points, like
- 22:22Speaker 2: they had to keep skipping the points because he kept
- 22:24Speaker 2: interrupting with it.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I love you, literally, Bro, I know you was so
- 22:29Speaker 1: beautiful in person. First of all, he sounded like every
- 22:33Speaker 1: classic dirt bag you've.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Met, every classic hornball You hear him and it's.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Like, bro, come on, man, And then Cameron says, you know, hey,
- 22:42Speaker 1: I told you before. Her boyfriend's here. He can't be violating,
- 22:46Speaker 1: but he kept going and he just Saidyo, I'm gonna
- 22:48Speaker 1: pay you and you're gonna get out of here, you
- 22:50Speaker 1: know what I mean. And that man, that's something that
- 22:53Speaker 1: was super dope to see.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. Yeah, mad respect for Cam for
- 22:57Speaker 2: that because because Stat's boy friend is his homeboy, and
- 23:01Speaker 2: he's like, if you my Man's like, we're doing the podcast,
- 23:06Speaker 2: say you know, either of us wives are there and
- 23:08Speaker 2: we got to guess, and they're just on the wives,
- 23:12Speaker 2: like one of us gotta are going to cut it off.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Yoyo's yeah, you gotta go, you gotta go. It's act
- 23:18Speaker 2: and that's why I expect about him because other hosts
- 23:21Speaker 2: might not do that. To keep the content, to keep.
- 23:23Speaker 1: The content one and to keep the relationship, you know
- 23:27Speaker 1: what I mean too, because that's like one of those
- 23:29Speaker 1: things too, like especially like like I said, always bringing
- 23:32Speaker 1: back to music, but like in music, like you be
- 23:34Speaker 1: in the studios with certain people, they're quote unquote somebody
- 23:38Speaker 1: and they be doing stuff that's kind of questionable, and
- 23:41Speaker 1: you see how many people are just cool. You know
- 23:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like, oh, like this guy gotta connect
- 23:46Speaker 1: with this person, so let me just chill out. And
- 23:48Speaker 1: it's like man to a certain point, dog, like you
- 23:51Speaker 1: got to be able to sleep at night, you know
- 23:53Speaker 1: what I mean. Like, I'm not gonna put up with
- 23:55Speaker 1: certain things that I'm against just because oh this person
- 23:58Speaker 1: might be able to give me a value later on.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Or whatever, you know. To me, Cam thought, this is
- 24:02Speaker 2: the last person, Like there's a hundred of the guests
- 24:05Speaker 2: that I'm gonna have that's gonna keep my my my
- 24:10Speaker 2: ship going. I don't know, are we are we cursing
- 24:12Speaker 2: on this show? Yeah, I mean I thought about that
- 24:15Speaker 2: for a while.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I feel like we just be going in and out
- 24:18Speaker 1: of it sometimes.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Okay, you know what I mean. Yeah, I just want
- 24:22Speaker 2: to you.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Know what it is though. It is because like the
- 24:24Speaker 1: algorithm sometimes but you could just bleep it and then
- 24:28Speaker 1: it'll just keep it going like nothing.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah. So back to Cam, like I think he thought,
- 24:33Speaker 2: like I have a hundred other guests that can keep
- 24:35Speaker 2: this this ride going that I don't need Adrian Browner today.
- 24:40Speaker 1: And it's funny too, because like it's almost it's kind
- 24:42Speaker 1: of like you said in the precedents also because and
- 24:46Speaker 1: it's funny because one of the people that I met
- 24:49Speaker 1: in music that is a dirt bag was actually one
- 24:52Speaker 1: of the ones that gave me the best piece of advice.
- 24:55Speaker 1: He was like, Yo, you gotta consider that whatever whatever
- 24:59Speaker 1: you trying to get on with, that's what people are
- 25:01Speaker 1: gonna expect from you. So like, if you're trying to
- 25:03Speaker 1: do a certain style of music, trying to get on
- 25:05Speaker 1: and thinking you're gonna switch it up, it's like nah,
- 25:07Speaker 1: because your audience is looking at you for that, you
- 25:10Speaker 1: know what I mean. True, So like if you if
- 25:12Speaker 1: you say, oh, let me, let me just get a
- 25:14Speaker 1: club song so I can get on, But then when
- 25:16Speaker 1: people go look at your library and you don't got
- 25:18Speaker 1: no club song, and it's not gonna work the way
- 25:21Speaker 1: that you think it's gonna work unless you're gonna keep
- 25:22Speaker 1: going with that vibe, you know what I'm saying. And
- 25:25Speaker 1: that always stuck with me because it's like it makes
- 25:27Speaker 1: a lot of sense, bro, Like you, there's people that
- 25:30Speaker 1: have that attitude like I just want to get on
- 25:32Speaker 1: however I can get on, but they don't realize, Bro,
- 25:34Speaker 1: that's how people are gonna see expect exactly, and they're
- 25:37Speaker 1: gonna want you to be on that. And like you said, Bro,
- 25:40Speaker 1: Cam could have just been cool with it and then
- 25:42Speaker 1: all of a sudden now you know him for like
- 25:44Speaker 1: the Super Wild Show.
- 25:45Speaker 2: And then he's gonna have other guests like, oh, Adrian
- 25:47Speaker 2: Burner went on that show, and you know he wilded out.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I can go on wild Out on this show too.
- 25:52Speaker 1: And that kind of thing will probably get you, like,
- 25:56Speaker 1: will not get you the invite to ESPN. They won't
- 25:59Speaker 1: talk about you want to, like because Steven A. Smith
- 26:01Speaker 1: has brought up cam show on ESPN, He's not going
- 26:04Speaker 1: to be bringing it up if you're over there doing
- 26:06Speaker 1: a whole bunch of ratchet wild stuff, you know what
- 26:07Speaker 1: I mean? And man, speaking of ESPN, we'll kind of
- 26:11Speaker 1: start wrapping up with this. But you know, WW made
- 26:16Speaker 1: that move to ESPN that we had talked about last episode.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Wrestle this week this weekend, John announce.
- 26:24Speaker 1: That they're going to start it with that that's going
- 26:26Speaker 1: to be the opening match. That's different and people are
- 26:28Speaker 1: going crazy, not because of any of the match stuff
- 26:31Speaker 1: or anything like that, but people was used to us
- 26:33Speaker 1: paying five to ten bucks a month for WW because
- 26:36Speaker 1: it was part of Peacock, and before that it was
- 26:38Speaker 1: the network that was ten a month. Then Peacock was
- 26:40Speaker 1: like five ninety nine a month, and you could just
- 26:43Speaker 1: watch all the pay per views like that. Now they're
- 26:45Speaker 1: going kind of back to the old model where it's
- 26:47Speaker 1: more like a pay per view and you got to
- 26:50Speaker 1: like the cheapest way you can get it is thirty
- 26:52Speaker 1: bucks a month. People going crazy and you just get
- 26:55Speaker 1: WWE and you just get them pay per views in
- 26:58Speaker 1: that contentt and stuff and people going crazy. But it's
- 27:01Speaker 1: funny because you got the competition, which is aw, they
- 27:05Speaker 1: got full pay per view, Like their pay per views
- 27:08Speaker 1: are sixty seventy dollars, Like they don't got no no
- 27:11Speaker 1: subsidizing nothing, like they've been from the beginning. They've been
- 27:15Speaker 1: sixty dollars pay per view. So it's it's kind of
- 27:18Speaker 1: funny seeing people like, oh man, they being greedy and stuff. Bro,
- 27:21Speaker 1: they competition is charging double that.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Price, you know what I mean. I didn't even But
- 27:24Speaker 2: do they get the same amount of viewers though, No,
- 27:27Speaker 2: they don't at all.
- 27:29Speaker 1: And that's kind of like my point with it is like, yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: you know, you're complaining that it's like more. Obviously, no,
- 27:36Speaker 1: nobody want to pay more for nothing, Like you know,
- 27:38Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I would rather keep
- 27:40Speaker 1: paying fine ninety nine. But when you consider, you know,
- 27:44Speaker 1: what you're watching or whatever. Like for me, at least,
- 27:47Speaker 1: it's gonna decrease the frequency of doors that I watched.
- 27:52Speaker 1: And before I had I had to find ninety nine
- 27:55Speaker 1: on Peacock. I was just had it on auto renew
- 27:58Speaker 1: because I knew there was a pay per view a month,
- 28:00Speaker 1: and if I'm free, or even if I'm not free,
- 28:03Speaker 1: I'll pull it up on my phone just to pass
- 28:04Speaker 1: the time whatever. Now like I have to know that
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna be home and got nothing else to do.
- 28:12Speaker 2: To pay for it, and it's a good event to
- 28:14Speaker 2: pay for it, exactly. No, And I think just just
- 28:16Speaker 2: the same as the same as myself, and I think
- 28:19Speaker 2: there's plenty of fans like us. I got into wrestling
- 28:24Speaker 2: more because it was on Peacock, exactly, and I had Peacock,
- 28:28Speaker 2: so I watched everything because it was on Peacock. Now
- 28:31Speaker 2: it's not. Now I gotta pay thirty dollars more or
- 28:34Speaker 2: upgrade my because I have the Hulu. So I got
- 28:37Speaker 2: to upgrade my Hulu to pay thirty bucks to watch
- 28:40Speaker 2: these events. I don't know how many events.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Now the booking and the matchups matter more because before
- 28:45Speaker 1: you ain't care because you were paying by ninety nine.
- 28:48Speaker 1: You just go on just a live event, you watch
- 28:51Speaker 1: just what.
- 28:51Speaker 2: No, I'm not saying it. I was gonna say. I'm
- 28:55Speaker 2: gonna say I was watching the Women's Wan Rumble just
- 28:57Speaker 2: because it was I don't know if I gonna pay
- 29:00Speaker 2: for Women's Rumble event. Now, nothing against the women, but
- 29:04Speaker 2: I'm saying if I'm gonna pay for something, I'm gonna
- 29:06Speaker 2: pay for it. You know the matches that I want
- 29:09Speaker 2: to see.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I fear you one hundred percent. Man. It's kind of.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Shot Ripley and Live Morgan's gonna take me down the
- 29:18Speaker 2: dangerous We can say it, Bro, you know, we gotta
- 29:22Speaker 2: be real with it.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Man, Just just to kind of touch on what you said. Man,
- 29:27Speaker 1: that's another thing that's been popping up a lot lately too.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Like I know the w n b A is trying
- 29:32Speaker 1: to get like new media rites skill and get their
- 29:35Speaker 1: money up and stuff. But it's like, Bro, it's kind
- 29:38Speaker 1: of tough when the quality of the product ain't there. Bro,
- 29:40Speaker 1: It's hard for me to watch NBA and then watch
- 29:45Speaker 1: wn A.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Bro.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Like it's like it's almost like people want to ignore it,
- 29:50Speaker 1: like it's not a thing. But it's like, Bro, when
- 29:51Speaker 1: it's really and Lebron who I don't want to watch
- 29:56Speaker 1: the w n b A after that Dog Like it's
- 29:58Speaker 1: just I mean, it's crazy that I even have to
- 30:02Speaker 1: explain it, honestly, but it's just like it's such a
- 30:05Speaker 1: different product and I'm so used to the NBA of
- 30:08Speaker 1: it and kind of like you're saying, like when you
- 30:10Speaker 1: watch like just like the normal men's wrestling that you
- 30:14Speaker 1: used to see in Bro, even like somebody like Logan
- 30:17Speaker 1: Paul Bro this dude doing a backflip from the from
- 30:20Speaker 1: the ring to the announced table, Bro. Like he's just
- 30:25Speaker 1: jumping up and flying through that. I'm like, Bro, this
- 30:27Speaker 1: is insane. And then you watch the women's roll rumble
- 30:30Speaker 1: and you're like.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Okay, I mean you know for sure, like I'm a
- 30:34Speaker 2: Caitlin Clark fan, I like the Indiana Fever. Good for you.
- 30:38Speaker 2: I'm not gonna watch that on Christmas Day, you know
- 30:41Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I'm not gonna watch that on any day.
- 30:44Speaker 2: No, but you know what, that's what I mean. It's
- 30:46Speaker 2: like they don't they have highlights, but they don't drive
- 30:49Speaker 2: the full game attention. For me to sit there and
- 30:51Speaker 2: say I'm gonna watch all four quarters of this game.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Man shout out to the homie January Man. She played
- 30:56Speaker 1: for the Florida Gators women's basketball team. He go gated
- 30:59Speaker 1: me just me one time, like, yo, you ain't watching
- 31:02Speaker 1: the right stuff, like you know, she gave me some
- 31:04Speaker 1: examples and I respect her a lot, bro, so I
- 31:07Speaker 1: checked it out. Bro, wasn't for me. Man, it's just
- 31:10Speaker 1: a completely different style than what you used to you
- 31:14Speaker 1: know what I mean. And it's just like, Man, I'm
- 31:17Speaker 1: I'm an NBA diehard bro. Like I've been watching the
- 31:20Speaker 1: NBA since I was a kid, and that's what I'm
- 31:22Speaker 1: looking for in basketball. Like, to me, NBA style basketball
- 31:26Speaker 1: is the basketball for me. And if it ain't that,
- 31:29Speaker 1: I don't really care.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah, to be to close that out, be completely realistic,
- 31:34Speaker 2: the performance level has to be at a high level.
- 31:37Speaker 2: You know, if the amount of misshots, if we watch
- 31:40Speaker 2: an NBA game and see that amount of miss shots
- 31:42Speaker 2: were like, Yo, this game is boring. Even with the
- 31:43Speaker 2: NBA game, this game is born, I'm gonna watch something else.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Facts and yeah, man, I definitely I will say this
- 31:53Speaker 1: though they have improved, for sure, I'm seeing a lot
- 31:57Speaker 1: of like for example, from what I've seen Sabrina I
- 32:02Speaker 1: in that school. She's the page Bukers, you know what
- 32:05Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like you got you got a couple of
- 32:08Speaker 1: players that you watched him playing, and they legit, Bro,
- 32:10Speaker 1: they legit. I honestly think they better than Kaitlyn Clark,
- 32:13Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like Kaitlyn Clark is kind
- 32:15Speaker 1: of like the Steph Curry but also not as good
- 32:18Speaker 1: as stuff, because Steph Curry was like he changed the game,
- 32:22Speaker 1: but he was the standard.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Thing is that he didn't come into the game like that.
- 32:25Speaker 1: No, no, he didn't come into the game like that.
- 32:27Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is like once that happened, he
- 32:30Speaker 1: continued it. It wasn't like like a flash in the pan.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Or for example, there's another good example, Ronda ROUSI.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Bro, she went to the m M A.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Bro. It was like, oh what are we seeing?
- 32:40Speaker 2: Bro?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Just like this, you saw that there was way more
- 32:42Speaker 1: skilled on fighters than her, Like I mean, they was
- 32:45Speaker 1: just whooping her after like a year or two, you
- 32:47Speaker 1: know what I mean. And that's kind of how I
- 32:49Speaker 1: feel about w NBA two. Like there was so much
- 32:52Speaker 1: hype about Angel Rees Kaitlyn Clark, but then the next
- 32:55Speaker 1: draft class came in and you're watching them, You're like,
- 32:57Speaker 1: these these might be better than the last one. So
- 33:00Speaker 1: I'm hoping it gets better though, you know. I mean,
- 33:02Speaker 1: if there's good bad, there's more good basketball that you
- 33:04Speaker 1: can watch.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I'm an Acest fan. I'm a Galaxy fan.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I like I like Kelsey Plumb. I like watching her play.
- 33:12Speaker 2: When I lived in Vegas, I watch a bunch of
- 33:14Speaker 2: the Acest game So I still like, I want to watch.
- 33:19Speaker 2: But for me to continuously watch like I watched regular NBA,
- 33:23Speaker 2: it has to change. Well, it has to improve for me.
- 33:26Speaker 2: That's that's all I'm gonna say, facts Man.
- 33:28Speaker 1: But yeah, bro, it's the first episode, new setup, new vibes.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Like we talked about in the beginning, we probably not
- 33:36Speaker 1: gonna go as frequent as we did before. Maybe throw
- 33:39Speaker 1: in some random little stuff in between here and there.
- 33:41Speaker 1: We haven't really discussed it yet, but maybe just to
- 33:43Speaker 1: like keep the page a little more active.
- 33:45Speaker 2: You got the new setup going on.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah, facts man, shout out to the homie A Jay
- 33:50Speaker 1: and the canvas came through for us. This place is dope.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I started doing some music content here and I was like, Bro,
- 33:55Speaker 1: this would be a perfect place to start for some
- 33:57Speaker 1: more podcast stuff and just get it, you know what
- 34:01Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like we always had good like quality as
- 34:03Speaker 1: far as talks and the stuff we were talking about,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and the clips always perform really well. But if we
- 34:09Speaker 1: you know, we get it to our next level is
- 34:10Speaker 1: definitely something that.
- 34:12Speaker 2: No I think we say that a lot, like a
- 34:14Speaker 2: lot of people say it, and we say it, but
- 34:17Speaker 2: we're actually doing it. We're continuously trying to improve by actions,
- 34:21Speaker 2: not just keep talking, Hey, we want to do this,
- 34:23Speaker 2: we want to do that, we think about it. We're
- 34:25Speaker 2: like continuously all the time talking about yo, how can
- 34:28Speaker 2: we keep turning this up? And we're doing it. This
- 34:30Speaker 2: is this is another step on that ladder to make
- 34:33Speaker 2: this better as best as it can get.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Facts, Man, another good episode, much sir, and y'all already
- 34:40Speaker 1: know
