Shooting on Georgia Avenue in D.C. | Washington DC News
A shocking shooting erupted on Georgia Avenue in Northwest D.C. near the Juanita E. Thornton/Shepherd Library on Monday, August 3rd, leaving two men wounded. Though they fled before police arrived, both victims were later found—one near a McDonald’s, the other in the library’s parking lot—and rushed to the hospital. MPD has released footage of a person of interest and is urgently seeking witnesses to help solve this active case.
