- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome to Vince. On a Monday, it's great
- 0:03Speaker 1: to be back with you as always, the best audience anywhere.
- 0:05Speaker 1: We have an epic show ahead for you. The president
- 0:07Speaker 1: of the United States just gave the boot to a
- 0:09Speaker 1: couple of news outlets, so-called news outlets, who've been going
- 0:12Speaker 1: to the White House for years. And the president says
- 0:14Speaker 1: they're fake news, so they're not welcome anymore. It's, of course,
- 0:18Speaker 1: led to chaos in Washington. I will assess the latest
- 0:21Speaker 1: on that subject and so much more all ahead on
- 0:23Speaker 1: the program. Also, the president has, remember, the art of
- 0:27Speaker 1: the deal, negotiating with Greenland and finally, coming up with
- 0:30Speaker 1: a deal with Greenland to have the United States make
- 0:34Speaker 1: it officially and permanently a part of our sphere of
- 0:38Speaker 1: protection of this hemisphere. The details as we know them,
- 0:42Speaker 1: it's a big week for the president of the United
- 0:45Speaker 1: States coming up. And of course, so much more to
- 0:48Speaker 1: get to. The left is trying to produce more chaos.
- 0:50Speaker 1: They're trying to stop immigration enforcement. We've got a lot
- 0:53Speaker 1: to discuss. It's all ahead on this edition of Vince.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I hope you had a mighty fine day. American weekend.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I sure did. I'll tell you more about that in
- 1:00Speaker 1: just a moment. Before I get there, though, I want
- 1:03Speaker 1: to thank Helix for being a great sponsor of our

- 1:23Speaker 1: feel each successive day. And for a long time before
- 1:26Speaker 1: I had a Helix mattress, I was constantly readjusting at night,
- 1:29Speaker 1: trying to find a comfortable position. I'd wake up feeling
- 1:32Speaker 1: like I never really got the quality rest I needed.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Since switching to Helix, I sleep so much more soundly.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I wake up less during the night. I start my

- 1:52Speaker 1: designed around your needs. It takes all of the guesswork
- 1:55Speaker 1: out of finding the right fit. They also make it

- 2:26Speaker 2: Boom.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It's been a whirlwind two weeks here for me and
- 2:35Speaker 1: for our team. Two weeks ago, we were in Dallas.
- 2:37Speaker 1: We spent part of the week there, of course, for
- 2:39Speaker 1: that big convention last week, much of it in. Kansas City,
- 2:42Speaker 1: some of it under the weather. Even I apologize for
- 2:44Speaker 1: the state of my voice last week. I think I'm
- 2:46Speaker 1: a lot better now, for those of you who've been asking.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I think I'm feeling a lot better now. And then
- 2:51Speaker 1: the grand finale of a busy two weeks. This weekend,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I was emceeing the Fairfax County, Virginia Republican Party Gala.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It was a great event. We had Treasury Secretary Scott
- 3:03Speaker 1: Besson there, former Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, former Virginia Attorney
- 3:07Speaker 1: General Jason Meares, Jonathan Turley. And just a room full
- 3:11Speaker 1: of hundreds of patriots supporting the Republican Party in all
- 3:16Speaker 1: places in Fairfax County, Virginia. You might think, man, that's
- 3:19Speaker 1: a very blue area of Virginia. Unfortunately, it's true. It
- 3:22Speaker 1: is very blue. But the harder Republicans fight in Fairfax
- 3:26Speaker 1: County and the more ground that Republicans make in Fairfax County, Virginia,
- 3:30Speaker 1: the better it is for the whole country. And for
- 3:33Speaker 1: those of you who know Virginia politics well, you'll know
- 3:35Speaker 1: that on election night, if you see big Republican turnout
- 3:38Speaker 1: in Fairfax, even if it's not a victory for the
- 3:41Speaker 1: Republicans in Fairfax, if it's big turnout, if it's bigger
- 3:44Speaker 1: than expected, that's great news. It means that the rest
- 3:47Speaker 1: of Virginia is about to be a big victory for Republicans.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So that's why that fight is so important. And it
- 3:53Speaker 1: was my honor to emcee the festivities on Saturday, a
- 3:58Speaker 1: very busy event. Scott Besant, by the way, was hilarious.
- 4:01Speaker 1: He was truly, truly funny. It was what you'd expect.
- 4:05Speaker 1: He's always funny. But he had this great line that
- 4:08Speaker 1: goes really well with our story today as we talk
- 4:10Speaker 1: about the news media. He was discussing how so many
- 4:14Speaker 1: of these media outlets have been lying about the state
- 4:19Speaker 1: of the country right now. He was reeling off a
- 4:21Speaker 1: lot of the economic good news to the crowd on
- 4:24Speaker 1: Saturday and talking about, he said, we have such a
- 4:26Speaker 1: great story to tell. But when the media tries to
- 4:29Speaker 1: get its arms around it, they lie. They distort constantly.
- 4:33Speaker 1: They mislead the public about the data. And he says,
- 4:37Speaker 1: it's not that there's bad news. It's that the news
- 4:41Speaker 1: is bad.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Clever.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And true. Totally true. That too many in the media
- 4:48Speaker 1: aren't really in the business of telling you the news.
- 4:50Speaker 1: They're in the business of misleading you, distorting reality in
- 4:55Speaker 1: order to try and give an assist to Democrats. who
- 4:58Speaker 1: are in the reality distortion business. And so that leads
- 5:01Speaker 1: me to the big news of the weekend. You ready?
- 5:04Speaker 1: The American news media. A couple of news outlets just
- 5:08Speaker 1: got the boot from the White House. And as far
- 5:11Speaker 1: as the president's concerned, they're very unlikely to come back
- 5:13Speaker 1: anytime soon. Here's what the president said. Truth Social, big
- 5:17Speaker 1: announcement this weekend. I'm proud to announce, effective immediately, I'm
- 5:22Speaker 1: banning fake news CNN, Ms. Now, who recently changed their
- 5:26Speaker 1: name from Ms. NBC due to a lack of viewership
- 5:29Speaker 1: and credibility, and Politico, the recipients of an illegal and
- 5:33Speaker 1: ridiculous $ 8 million subscription, an all-time record, directly from the
- 5:39Speaker 1: United States government under crooked Joe Biden, in order to
- 5:42Speaker 1: keep them alive. Seems like corruption to me. He's talking
- 5:46Speaker 1: about Politico is receiving massive amounts of federal taxpayer money
- 5:50Speaker 1: in the form of subscriptions to a very expensive subscription
- 5:54Speaker 1: service that they sell with a kind of insider information
- 5:59Speaker 1: that is going on inside of the government. They sell something,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I think it's called Politico Pro. And you, the American taxpayer,
- 6:06Speaker 1: were giving Politico millions of dollars. The Trump administration has
- 6:10Speaker 1: ended that. You can thank Doge and the Trump administration
- 6:14Speaker 1: for bringing that to an end. And the president says,
- 6:17Speaker 1: seems like corruption to me. So they're being banned, the
- 6:21Speaker 1: president says, from the White House as a result of
- 6:23Speaker 1: their constant, quote, reporting fake news. Media outlets should not
- 6:27Speaker 1: be able to constantly write or report fiction and lies
- 6:30Speaker 1: when they're covering the president of the United States, the
- 6:32Speaker 1: Trump administration, or the United States of America. Other fake
- 6:35Speaker 1: news media outlets to follow, he says. These are not
- 6:40Speaker 1: the only ones. Thank you for your attention to this matter,
- 6:44Speaker 1: President Donald J.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Trump.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So that's the announcement. And immediately, nobody knew what was
- 6:51Speaker 1: going to happen. It was confusion. It was chaos. These
- 6:55Speaker 1: media outlets started wondering, am I really banned? Is that
- 6:57Speaker 1: really going to happen? I can't go to the White House.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm entitled to go to the White House.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I can go in.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I can do whatever I want. They're going to really
- 7:03Speaker 1: stop me? Sure enough, a CNN reporter said, attempted to
- 7:09Speaker 1: go to the White House named Betsy Cline. Betsy Cline
- 7:11Speaker 1: attempted to go to the White House. And when she
- 7:14Speaker 1: showed up, they took her press badge. They said, you're
- 7:18Speaker 1: not allowed to have this anymore. Here she is on
- 7:21Speaker 1: national television this weekend describing what happened. Cut one.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Well, Casey, just to give you a little bit of context,
- 7:27Speaker 5: I have covered the White House for CNN in some
- 7:30Speaker 5: capacity since the Obama administration in 2015, first as a
- 7:33Speaker 5: producer and now as a reporter. And every day that
- 7:37Speaker 5: I come here to do my job at the White House,
- 7:39Speaker 5: I arrive here at this intersection, 17th Street Northwest and
- 7:42Speaker 5: Pennsylvania Avenue. I go through a checkpoint right behind me
- 7:45Speaker 5: with Secret Service. I show them my hard pass. And
- 7:48Speaker 5: then I walk past the Eisenhower Executive Office building and
- 7:51Speaker 5: into the Northwest Gate. There I put my stuff through
- 7:55Speaker 5: essentially what looks like airport security conveyor belt and then
- 7:58Speaker 5: I tap my badge onto a card reader. I type
- 8:01Speaker 5: in a four digit pin. I did all of that today.
- 8:05Speaker 5: The only difference is that there was a group of
- 8:07Speaker 5: cameras waiting outside that gate to watch me walk in
- 8:10Speaker 5: and also.
- 8:11Speaker 2: There was a.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Military band practicing ahead of a China state visit expected
- 8:15Speaker 5: later this week playing Battle Hymn of the Republic, rehearsing
- 8:18Speaker 5: from the White House north grounds. So I walk in,
- 8:22Speaker 5: I tap my badge and it beeps a couple of
- 8:24Speaker 5: different times. It turns red, blue and green and it
- 8:28Speaker 5: didn't accept my PIN number. the Secret Service agent in
- 8:31Speaker 5: the guardhouse with whom I have been friendly in the
- 8:34Speaker 5: past asked to see my badge and I handed it
- 8:37Speaker 5: over to him. He told me that it had been deactivated.
- 8:40Speaker 5: I asked him if he could provide an explanation as
- 8:43Speaker 5: to why it had been deactivated. He said he had
- 8:45Speaker 5: no further information. I asked him once more if he
- 8:48Speaker 5: had any more details he could share with me and
- 8:50Speaker 5: he said that I should be referred to the White
- 8:54Speaker 5: House press office, to the Wranglers for more information. I
- 8:58Speaker 5: asked if I could have the badge back. He said
- 8:59Speaker 5: he would be keeping it. He did, however, hand me
- 9:02Speaker 5: back this clear case with a lanyard that it came in.
- 9:05Speaker 5: I also collected my things and then returned out the
- 9:08Speaker 5: gate that I had come through.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Listen, listen to how overly descriptive that entire sequence was.
- 9:17Speaker 1: She told us about the colors that were flashing on
- 9:20Speaker 1: the keypad as she attempted to get into the White House.
- 9:24Speaker 1: She showed us the plastic container of her lanyard that
- 9:28Speaker 1: once contained the White House press credentials that were just
- 9:30Speaker 1: taken away from her. She described the cameras that were
- 9:33Speaker 1: waiting to observe her walking into the building. Every detail
- 9:39Speaker 1: that she could possibly observe was shared. Now, there's an
- 9:44Speaker 1: expression for what she just did. That's called navel gazing.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's a kind of a way of describing how someone
- 9:49Speaker 1: might stare into their belly button and obsess over it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: You're obsessed with yourself, that you're focused, hyper-focused on this
- 9:58Speaker 1: one little thing, and you're trying to generate all sorts
- 10:01Speaker 1: of scandal and interest in you. But candidly, I think
- 10:05Speaker 1: a lot of people see that and they think to themselves,
- 10:07Speaker 1: you're being ridiculous. This is overly dramatic. Why don't you
- 10:11Speaker 1: just tell the truth and then you'll be welcomed back
- 10:14Speaker 1: into the White House? In fact, one random passerby, one patriot,
- 10:20Speaker 1: was walking by her as she was doing all of this,
- 10:22Speaker 1: as she was describing on CNN the horror of not
- 10:25Speaker 1: being entitled to walk into the White House at any time, which,
- 10:29Speaker 1: by the way, is the actual position that all of
- 10:33Speaker 1: us are in. Normal Americans can't just randomly walk into
- 10:35Speaker 1: the White House at any time. So CNN is now
- 10:38Speaker 1: being treated like normal Americans again. But a random dude
- 10:42Speaker 1: walked by and said, you know, there is a way
- 10:44Speaker 1: out of this. All you have to do is tell
- 10:46Speaker 1: the truth. Cut to watch this.
- 10:48Speaker 5: Questions or to travel on Air Force One. The president
- 10:51Speaker 5: has a lot of travel coming up. He's going to
- 10:54Speaker 5: the United Nations. He's also doing a lot of midterm travel.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Did you hear him? He said, he said, tell the truth.
- 11:06Speaker 1: If you tell the truth, then it won't get revoked.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Tell the truth. She was a little, she was a
- 11:11Speaker 1: little staggered by that. She, you could tell she was
- 11:14Speaker 1: a little affected by that. She tried to soldier on.
- 11:16Speaker 1: It's pretty It's pretty wonderful. I think CNN.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Or to travel on Air Force One. The president has
- 11:21Speaker 5: a lot of travel coming up. He's going to the
- 11:24Speaker 5: United Nations. He's also doing a lot of midterms.
- 11:27Speaker 1: That guy needs to be president for every CNN newscast.
- 11:29Speaker 1: He just needs to walk by with little editorial guidance
- 11:32Speaker 1: on how they can be better people. That's her Jiminy Cricket.
- 11:36Speaker 1: He's just there to be her conscience. Tell the truth.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Tell the truth and you won't get revoked. That's all
- 11:43Speaker 1: you have to do. That's all you have to do. Look,
- 11:47Speaker 1: Here's the reality. There's no demand. There should be no
- 11:53Speaker 1: demand that the media follow White House talking points ever
- 11:57Speaker 1: for any president. There should be no demand that you
- 12:02Speaker 1: be water carriers for any administration. But there should be
- 12:06Speaker 1: an expectation that you're engaged in actual journalism and not
- 12:11Speaker 1: just a political hit job. which of course is what
- 12:15Speaker 1: a lot of these networks have dedicated themselves to. It's
- 12:18Speaker 1: a never ending stream of scandal mongering, of trying to
- 12:22Speaker 1: invent scandal where there is none, to be deceitful to
- 12:27Speaker 1: the public on a routine basis. How many times have
- 12:30Speaker 1: you and I sat here and read through a New
- 12:31Speaker 1: York Times story and we can't make it through a
- 12:34Speaker 1: single paragraph without detecting a flagrant lie within the copy?
- 12:40Speaker 1: We were just doing, I think last week, didn't we
- 12:42Speaker 1: do a whole piece on this last week, Josh, where
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm reading through a New York Times piece. I think
- 12:46Speaker 1: we had to wait until paragraph eight or something before
- 12:49Speaker 1: we got to a paragraph that didn't contain a lie
- 12:52Speaker 1: or some sort of deceit that was designed to prejudice
- 12:54Speaker 1: the audience's understanding of the story. So, yes, there's a
- 12:58Speaker 1: massive problem. The American news media has rock bottom trust
- 13:01Speaker 1: because of its routine efforts to lie to the public.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Which is why, like many times, people are turning away
- 13:08Speaker 1: from these legacy outlets and they're going to social media
- 13:11Speaker 1: to try and figure out what the hell's even happening
- 13:12Speaker 1: in the world. That's a really unfortunate state of affairs.
- 13:16Speaker 1: And so the crisis in the American news media is
- 13:19Speaker 1: more than just whether or not you get access to
- 13:21Speaker 1: the White House. It's the fact that people don't trust
- 13:23Speaker 1: you because you have lost that trust by devaluing your currency.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You're in the news business. And instead, you spend a
- 13:30Speaker 1: lot of time just lying to people. And so they're
- 13:32Speaker 1: sick of it. And so is the president, for that matter.
- 13:36Speaker 1: The president this weekend was asked about this ban. And
- 13:38Speaker 1: he goes, this is very simple. I just don't want
- 13:41Speaker 1: them here. And that's at his discretion. Cut three. Watch this.
- 13:45Speaker 6: The Press Well, Mr.
- 13:46Speaker 7: President, on the ban, what does that mean in practice?
- 13:48Speaker 7: Are you taking away their badges? Are you banning them
- 13:50Speaker 7: from the pool?
- 13:51Speaker 1: What does this actually mean?
- 13:52Speaker 8: The President When you say the ban, which ban? You
- 13:54Speaker 8: know how many bans I'm involved in? I got more
- 13:57Speaker 8: bans going. I've got more bans going than any other ban.
- 14:00Speaker 7: The Press On the three news outlets, sir, what does
- 14:03Speaker 7: that mean in practice? Are you taking away their badges?
- 14:04Speaker 7: Are you banning them from the pool? Are you banning
- 14:06Speaker 7: them from the Oval Office?
- 14:07Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 14:07Speaker 8: The President I still don't know what that is.
- 14:09Speaker 7: The Press What do.
- 14:10Speaker 9: You envision the bans would look like in media outlets?
- 14:12Speaker 8: The President Oh, the ban on the free press, right?
- 14:16Speaker 8: A very simple ban. I don't want him in my office.
- 14:20Speaker 8: I don't want him here. I would say the ban
- 14:23Speaker 8: would go as far as you can.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I just don't want him here. Now, he's not stopping
- 14:28Speaker 1: them from continuing on their news operations. He's not stopping
- 14:31Speaker 1: them from continuing to talk to the public, to lie
- 14:35Speaker 1: to the public. He's not stopping them from doing any
- 14:37Speaker 1: of that. He's just saying, you don't have access to
- 14:39Speaker 1: the Oval Office. That's pretty straightforward. Again, the average American
- 14:44Speaker 1: doesn't get walk-in access to the Oval Office. You don't
- 14:47Speaker 1: get walk-in access to the White House. It's not the
- 14:49Speaker 1: way it works. And so CNN is being treated like
- 14:53Speaker 1: normal Americans.
- 14:54Speaker 10: Ms.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Now are being treated like normal Americans. That's the indignity?
- 14:59Speaker 1: That you have to exist like the rest of us? Now,
- 15:05Speaker 1: The other thing here the president says is he just,
- 15:07Speaker 1: he very much dislikes dishonesty. He said, I hate the
- 15:10Speaker 1: dishonest press. I don't like them. And he says, like you,
- 15:13Speaker 1: he says to one of the reporters in the room.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Cut for it.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Watch.
- 15:19Speaker 1: The press is.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Enshrined in the First Amendment.
- 15:21Speaker 8: Thank you for telling me.
- 15:22Speaker 11: Are you trying to intimidate the press from.
- 15:24Speaker 8: Doing their job?
- 15:25Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 15:26Speaker 8: I dislike dishonest press like you. I think you're terrible.
- 15:31Speaker 8: But I dislike dishonest. I like to see honest press.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Yeah, please. I dislike dishonest press like you. I like
- 15:38Speaker 1: how she's lecturing him about the First Amendment of the
- 15:41Speaker 1: United States, the First Amendment to the Constitution. No wonder
- 15:43Speaker 1: he got annoyed at her. Like, really, you're going to
- 15:45Speaker 1: patronize me about the First Amendment? Yeah, thanks. Now, one
- 15:50Speaker 1: of the interesting developments during that press conference, again, the president, who,
- 15:54Speaker 1: by the way, is the single most transparent president ever,
- 15:57Speaker 1: holding yet another press conference this weekend. One of the
- 15:59Speaker 1: most interesting components to it was one of his old
- 16:02Speaker 1: White House press secretaries was in the room with him. Remember,
- 16:05Speaker 1: he doesn't have Caroline Leavitt right now, and the White
- 16:07Speaker 1: House has been coming up with creative ways in order
- 16:09Speaker 1: to satisfy the need to hold press briefings. They'll have
- 16:12Speaker 1: various officials come out. But in the room with him
- 16:14Speaker 1: this weekend was the great Sarah Huckabee Sanders, now a governor.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And Sarah Sanders got kind of back to her old
- 16:21Speaker 1: job for a moment as she explained very carefully to
- 16:24Speaker 1: the press that nobody's been more open with the press
- 16:27Speaker 1: than this president. Watch this moment. This was kind of great.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Cut five.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It's hard for you to argue against a free press
- 16:34Speaker 2: when you're literally standing in the Oval Office asking questions
- 16:37Speaker 2: of the President of.
- 16:38Speaker 1: The United States.
- 16:39Speaker 2: He's been more accessible and easier to talk to than
- 16:44Speaker 2: any president in history. Think about the previous administration where
- 16:47Speaker 2: he could barely get through a press conference, and yet
- 16:49Speaker 2: you have the opportunity to stand here in the Oval
- 16:52Speaker 2: Office and ask questions to the leader of the free world.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I mean, that's pretty crazy. And you're standing here asking
- 16:59Speaker 2: those questions. I think the president is right. to support
- 17:03Speaker 2: the First Amendment, but he's also right to ask that
- 17:06Speaker 2: you be honest and fair. That's not an unreasonable thing
- 17:10Speaker 2: to do.
- 17:10Speaker 1: The President Well, look at the way he treated Biden.
- 17:12Speaker 8: He went a year and a half without having a
- 17:14Speaker 8: press conference.
- 17:16Speaker 1: A year and a half.
- 17:17Speaker 8: And what was the question you asked him most? What
- 17:21Speaker 8: is your favorite flavored ice cream?
- 17:23Speaker 12: Okay?
- 17:24Speaker 4: What?
- 17:24Speaker 8: I think you asked him that question once. What ice
- 17:27Speaker 8: cream do you like the best?
- 17:31Speaker 1: I think that was you, actually, he says. No, no,
- 17:34Speaker 1: that wasn't me. I didn't do that.
- 17:36Speaker 12: What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? The Biden era
- 17:42Speaker 12: was a joke in terms of media coverage, a total joke.
- 17:48Speaker 1: They didn't have access to the president. The president didn't
- 17:50Speaker 1: even see his cabinet during that period. And yet the
- 17:54Speaker 1: media very compliantly went along with the whole scheme until
- 17:57Speaker 1: the very end. Until the very end, when the Democrats
- 18:00Speaker 1: wanted to dispense with Joe, then the media started admitting,
- 18:03Speaker 1: you know, his brain doesn't work. We should probably get
- 18:06Speaker 1: rid of him. And then, of course, they started writing
- 18:09Speaker 1: books after he was gone about how it was a
- 18:11Speaker 1: big cover up. Nobody knew his brain was broken, you know,
- 18:14Speaker 1: except for the entire American public. Other than us, nobody
- 18:17Speaker 1: knew Joe Biden's brain was broken. All right. Coming up
- 18:19Speaker 1: in just a moment, Biden's boss, Obama, has come out now.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Of course, this is the issue. Now that CNN and Ms.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Now and Politico got banned from the White House, of course,
- 18:30Speaker 1: Obama pops back out in public in order to mount
- 18:33Speaker 1: a defense for dishonest media. We will share his assessment
- 18:39Speaker 1: in just a moment and why he, too, is lying,
- 18:43Speaker 1: of course, coming up on this edition of Vince. As always,
- 18:46Speaker 1: thank you for being here with me. I've got a
- 18:48Speaker 1: great sponsor to share with you today. That is Chapter.
- 18:51Speaker 1: We love Chapter. And here's what it's all about, Chapter.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Let me ask you something to start, and it's not
- 18:57Speaker 1: a political question. When was the last time you looked
- 18:59Speaker 1: at your Medicare plan? Not the card in your wallet,
- 19:02Speaker 1: the plan itself, because you see it changes every year,
- 19:06Speaker 1: what it covers, what your prescriptions cost, whether your doctors
- 19:09Speaker 1: are still in it, and 70% of people never actually
- 19:12Speaker 1: go back and check. It's a lot. Now, you didn't
- 19:15Speaker 1: make a bad decision. You made a fine decision. in 2021,
- 19:19Speaker 1: for instance, but you should trust Chapter. They're the only
- 19:22Speaker 1: Medicare advisors that compare every plan nationwide. Chapter's independent advisors
- 19:27Speaker 1: are honest. They're not paid to push one plan over another.
- 19:31Speaker 1: They look at your doctors, your prescriptions, your zip code,
- 19:34Speaker 1: your unique situation. Call 316-835-9955 to talk to Chapter. If
- 19:40Speaker 1: you're already on the right plan, they'll tell you. If
- 19:43Speaker 1: you're not, they'll help you switch. And people who switched
- 19:47Speaker 1: with chapter last year saved an average of $ 1, 100 on
- 19:50Speaker 1: healthcare costs. Not small at all. It's free and it's
- 19:55Speaker 1: under 20 minutes. That's 316-835-9955 to talk to chapter. 20
- 19:57Speaker 1: minutes to find out you were right or 20 minutes
- 19:59Speaker 1: to fix it.
- 20:00Speaker 4: 316-835-9955.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Thank you chapter for supporting the program and taking care
- 20:10Speaker 1: of so many people here. Appreciate them. Okay, so now
- 20:13Speaker 1: we've got President Obama, former President Obama, this weekend saying,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I would never do what Trump just did. Block the
- 20:24Speaker 1: press from the White House? Unheard of. Cut six. Here's Obama.
- 20:29Speaker 1: My imagination.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Could not foresee some of the stuff that's going on
- 20:35Speaker 3: right now. I believe there was just an announcement that
- 20:38Speaker 3: the White House decided.
- 20:41Speaker 13: You know what?
- 20:42Speaker 3: CNN, MSN, MSNOW, maybe the New York Times was included.
- 20:50Speaker 3: You just can't come to the White House press briefings
- 20:54Speaker 3: anymore because you're giving the current president unfavorable coverage. I'm
- 21:00Speaker 3: trying to think what would have happened if I had said,
- 21:03Speaker 3: you know what, Fox News, you're out of here.
- 21:07Speaker 1: It's unimaginable.
- 21:11Speaker 13: But the point I'm making here is that if you
- 21:15Speaker 13: have a certain cohort, let's call it 30 to 35
- 21:18Speaker 13: percent of the country right now, which thinks that's okay, well,
- 21:23Speaker 13: what that means is we have not developed the kind of.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Understanding of what democracy requires, and we've got to shore
- 21:33Speaker 3: that back up. I don't think that's inevitable. I don't
- 21:35Speaker 3: think all is lost on that front. But we have
- 21:42Speaker 3: to roll up our sleeves and get working.
- 21:45Speaker 1: He's so full of crap. He's so full of crap. Now,
- 21:48Speaker 1: what you just listened to was an Orwellian attempt to
- 21:51Speaker 1: claim some sort of moral high ground. Obama and subsequently
- 21:55Speaker 1: Biden were both involved in all-out attacks on press freedom.
- 22:01Speaker 1: All-out attacks. You know, Obama, for his part, did attempt...
- 22:06Speaker 1: to stop Fox News from covering White House events. This
- 22:08Speaker 1: blew up in a huge way in 2009 when the
- 22:12Speaker 1: Obama White House went full court press on calling Fox
- 22:15Speaker 1: News not a news organization in an attempt to exclude
- 22:18Speaker 1: them from access to White House events. Obama, imagine if
- 22:22Speaker 1: I tried to stop them from accessing White House events.
- 22:25Speaker 1: He did do that. He did that very thing. In fact,
- 22:29Speaker 1: if you go back in time, let's go back in time.
- 22:31Speaker 1: We have access to the internet. Here is cut seven,
- 22:34Speaker 1: a series of Obama officials attacking Fox as not a
- 22:37Speaker 1: news organization. Watch this.
- 22:39Speaker 3: We are going to take media as it comes. And
- 22:46Speaker 3: if media is operating basically as a talk radio format,
- 22:50Speaker 3: then that's one thing. And if it's operating as a
- 22:54Speaker 3: news outlet, then that's another. But it's not something I'm
- 22:56Speaker 3: losing a lot of sleep over.
- 22:58Speaker 6: It's fair to say about Fox, and certainly the way
- 23:00Speaker 6: we view it, is that it really is more a
- 23:03Speaker 6: wing of the Republican Party. Best evidence of that.
- 23:07Speaker 14: Is that the reason the president did not go on
- 23:10Speaker 14: Fox News Sunday a few weeks back when he did
- 23:11Speaker 14: all the other Sunday shows? And will President Obama appear
- 23:15Speaker 14: on Fox News again, let's say, this year?
- 23:17Speaker 6: Well, you know, Howie, President Obama appeared on, he did
- 23:20Speaker 6: the factor. He did O'Reilly in the campaign last year.
- 23:25Speaker 6: As president earlier this year when he met with news anchors.
- 23:27Speaker 14: My question is, will he appear on Fox in the
- 23:29Speaker 14: next couple of months?
- 23:30Speaker 6: No, you had a two-part question. The first was, is
- 23:32Speaker 6: this why he did not appear? And the answer is, yes. Obviously,
- 23:36Speaker 6: he'll go on Fox because he engages with ideological opponents.
- 23:40Speaker 6: And he has done that before.
- 23:41Speaker 9: He will do it again.
- 23:42Speaker 6: I can't give you a date because, frankly, I can't
- 23:44Speaker 6: give you dates for anybody else right now. But what
- 23:46Speaker 6: I will say is that when he goes on Fox,
- 23:49Speaker 6: he understands he's not going on. It really is a
- 23:51Speaker 6: news network at this point. He's going on to debate
- 23:53Speaker 6: the opposition. And that's fine. He never minds doing that.
- 23:57Speaker 1: But on that.
- 23:59Speaker 14: Point, I'm going to because I want to read a
- 24:00Speaker 14: statement from Fox senior VP Michael Clemente, who says the following.
- 24:03Speaker 1: We'll put it up on the screen.
- 24:05Speaker 14: An increasing number of viewers are relying on Fox News
- 24:08Speaker 14: for both news and opinion, and the average news consumer
- 24:10Speaker 14: can certainly distinguish between the A section of the newspaper
- 24:13Speaker 14: and the editorial page, which is what our programming represents.
- 24:16Speaker 14: So with all due respect to anyone who might still
- 24:18Speaker 14: be confused about the difference between news reporting and vibrant opinion,
- 24:22Speaker 14: my suggestion would be to talk about the stories and
- 24:24Speaker 14: the facts rather than attack the messenger, which over time
- 24:27Speaker 14: has never worked.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Your response.
- 24:29Speaker 6: Yes, well, I think that there have been numerous independent
- 24:31Speaker 6: analyses that have looked at the difference between, say, CNN, ABC, NBC, ABC,
- 24:39Speaker 6: and Fox, and have seen that there is a very
- 24:41Speaker 6: different story selection. There's a very different, even down to
- 24:45Speaker 6: the chyron they run below stories, that, you know, this
- 24:48Speaker 6: isn't us making it up, Howie, but let's be realistic.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Here, Howie.
- 24:52Speaker 6: You know, they are, they're widely viewed as, you know,
- 24:56Speaker 6: a part of the Republican Party. take their talking points,
- 24:59Speaker 6: put them on the air, take their opposition research, put
- 25:01Speaker 6: them on the air, and that's fine. But let's not
- 25:03Speaker 6: pretend they're a news network the way CNN is.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Okay, enough. All right, so basically what you had was
- 25:09Speaker 1: at the time, and that was Anita Dunn, at the
- 25:11Speaker 1: time you had all these Obama officials justifying why they
- 25:15Speaker 1: would exclude Fox from being allowed to cover anything at
- 25:17Speaker 1: the White House. Anything. In fact- At that time, I
- 25:22Speaker 1: remember there was a briefing that was done. Robert Gibbs
- 25:26Speaker 1: was the press secretary at the time. We're going back
- 25:28Speaker 1: now for Obama. And back then, Jake Tapper was an
- 25:34Speaker 1: ABC employee. And Jake Tapper confronted Robert Gibbs about this
- 25:39Speaker 1: on behalf of Fox News at the time. Jake Tapper said,
- 25:44Speaker 1: what are you doing? What makes them different? Why do
- 25:46Speaker 1: you consider them not a news organization? And Robert Gibbs
- 25:49Speaker 1: was offering all sorts of ridiculous explanations. Oh, well, just watch.
- 25:53Speaker 1: You should just watch them. They're not a news organization.
- 25:57Speaker 1: That actually happened. So as Obama sits up there and
- 26:00Speaker 1: lies to you, can you imagine if I tried to
- 26:02Speaker 1: exclude Fox? I don't know if they'll imagine it. You
- 26:04Speaker 1: did try to exclude Fox. You did. Subsequently, in 2013,
- 26:10Speaker 1: 2013 was a chaotic year as Obama was leading all
- 26:14Speaker 1: sorts of attacks on the press, and they were being
- 26:16Speaker 1: rooted on by CNN's, at the time, Brian Stelter.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Mr.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Potato Head was on TV saying that, you know, Fox
- 26:23Speaker 1: is really not a news organization. Watch this. This is
- 26:27Speaker 1: Cut 8. Check it out.
- 26:29Speaker 15: Reporters and photographers frustrated that independent media are shut out
- 26:34Speaker 15: of even routine presidential events at the White House. No reporters,
- 26:39Speaker 15: no photographers, so no uncomfortable questions of the president and
- 26:42Speaker 15: no images the White House can't control.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Sorry, hold on, hold on.
- 26:46Speaker 15: Recent examples, the president's lunch with Hillary Clinton.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Pause, I'm sorry. I set up that clip incorrectly. We
- 26:50Speaker 1: do have a clip of Brian Stalter calling for that.
- 26:53Speaker 1: That comes later. What you're going to watch right now, though,
- 26:56Speaker 1: what this clip is, this is a CNN segment, 2013.
- 26:59Speaker 1: on Obama stonewalling press coverage. That's what this is. Take
- 27:03Speaker 1: a look at this. This is, again, CNN assessing all
- 27:06Speaker 1: of the ways Obama is actually getting in the way
- 27:08Speaker 1: of press coverage.
- 27:11Speaker 15: Images the White House can't control. Recent examples, the president's
- 27:15Speaker 15: lunch with Hillary Clinton, his Oval Office visit with Mullah Yusufzai,
- 27:20Speaker 15: a Pakistani human rights activist who told the president to
- 27:23Speaker 15: stop using drones in her country, and a meeting with
- 27:26Speaker 15: Palestinian and Israeli negotiators. Doug Mills is a New York
- 27:30Speaker 15: Times photographer.
- 27:32Speaker 1: The White House photos, as many people have, are press releases.
- 27:36Speaker 13: They are basically putting the president in the.
- 27:38Speaker 15: Best light, Last month, 37 news organizations, including CNN, sent
- 27:44Speaker 15: the White House a letter comparing decisions that shut out
- 27:46Speaker 15: the press to, quote, placing a hand over a journalist's
- 27:49Speaker 15: camera lens. The restrictions seem at odds with the pledge
- 27:53Speaker 15: President Obama made to Americans at the beginning of his presidency.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Let me say it as simply as I can.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones
- 28:03Speaker 3: of this presidency.
- 28:05Speaker 1: It's nonsense.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Nonsense.
- 28:06Speaker 1: So, of course, Obama was leading attacks on the press. Meanwhile,
- 28:11Speaker 1: President Trump has been the single most open president in
- 28:14Speaker 1: American history. The guy holds multiple press conferences a day.
- 28:17Speaker 1: He's routinely welcoming the media into the Oval Office, into
- 28:20Speaker 1: various events, into cabinet meetings, constantly answering questions. He's regularly available.
- 28:26Speaker 1: He's answering their phone calls. Reporters can call him directly.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I would venture a guess, including some of the people
- 28:33Speaker 1: he just banned from the White House. CNN reporters, Ms.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Now reporters, Politico reporters can just pick up their phones
- 28:40Speaker 1: and call the President of the United States. That is
- 28:44Speaker 1: the most unusual level of access we've ever seen. And
- 28:48Speaker 1: yet he's a threat to the First Amendment now? Obama
- 28:52Speaker 1: was treating reporters as criminals. Not least of all, James Rosen.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You know James Rosen, a great reporter. President Trump treated
- 29:02Speaker 1: him as a criminal. Watch this report. Western Lensman pulls
- 29:07Speaker 1: this one up. God bless him for it. Cut nine.
- 29:10Speaker 1: This is 2013. Watch this.
- 29:13Speaker 16: Documents released this week show the Obama administration secretly monitored
- 29:16Speaker 16: a Washington journalist. In seeking a search warrant, the FBI
- 29:20Speaker 16: called James Rosen a criminal co-conspirator, even though he is
- 29:23Speaker 16: in charge with any crime. Jan Crawford is at the
- 29:26Speaker 16: Justice Department.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Jan, good morning.
- 29:28Speaker 10: Well, good morning, Nora.
- 29:29Speaker 17: Good morning, Charlie.
- 29:30Speaker 10: You know, I mean, these revelations have really just set
- 29:32Speaker 10: up a firestorm of criticism from the left and the right.
- 29:36Speaker 10: For the first time ever, a presidential administration is treating
- 29:40Speaker 10: news reporting like a crime and a reporter like a
- 29:44Speaker 10: criminal suspect.
- 29:46Speaker 14: I will always honor the confidentiality of my dealings with
- 29:50Speaker 14: all of my sources.
- 29:51Speaker 17: Fox News reporter James Rosen vowed Wednesday night to protect
- 29:55Speaker 17: his source for a scoop he got back in 2009,
- 29:58Speaker 17: reporting then that North Korea would respond to sanctions with
- 30:02Speaker 17: more nuclear tests. But the information was classified, and the
- 30:07Speaker 17: FBI launched an investigation to uncover Rosen's source that quickly
- 30:11Speaker 17: focused on Rosen himself. The level of government surveillance over
- 30:16Speaker 17: a reporter was unprecedented. Of course, media critics, the ACLU,
- 30:21Speaker 17: are saying that no presidential administration, not even the Nixon administration,
- 30:25Speaker 17: went after reporters with search warrants and secret surveillance. And
- 30:29Speaker 17: journalists that I'm talking to here in Washington, Charlie North,
- 30:31Speaker 17: say they're already seeing the impact of this.
- 30:34Speaker 1: This is Obama who did all this. Obama who said,
- 30:37Speaker 1: just imagine, just imagine if I would do this. Just
- 30:41Speaker 1: imagine if I went after Fox.
- 30:43Speaker 17: He did.
- 30:44Speaker 1: He went after Fox. He went after James Rosen. They
- 30:46Speaker 1: treated him as a criminal. Rosen had to live through that.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Another reporter by the name of James Risen, different James,
- 30:55Speaker 1: slightly different last name, also on the receiving end of this.
- 31:00Speaker 1: The Obama administration seized the phone records of the Associated Press.
- 31:05Speaker 1: We're talking about war on the media. Obama was leading it.
- 31:10Speaker 1: And he sits up there and pretends like his hands
- 31:13Speaker 1: are clean. I would never stop three news outlets from
- 31:17Speaker 1: going to the White House. Absurd.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Absurd.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Now, I mentioned a moment ago that he's had people
- 31:23Speaker 1: in the media, the left has had people in the media,
- 31:25Speaker 1: rooting on this kind of censorship, too. Brian Stelter, the
- 31:29Speaker 1: aforementioned Brian Stelter, in 2021... posted a segment where he
- 31:34Speaker 1: was floating getting rid of Fox from the White House
- 31:37Speaker 1: press pool under Joe Biden's administration. Take a look at this.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Cut 10.
- 31:44Speaker 18: You know, these questions about Fox's, as Fox radicalizes and
- 31:47Speaker 18: as it becomes even more and more of a political tool. Zerwick,
- 31:50Speaker 18: you wrote a column recently for The Sun about this,
- 31:52Speaker 18: saying Fox should be viewed as a political tool. And
- 31:55Speaker 18: that raises a question. Should it be a part of
- 31:56Speaker 18: the White House press pool? You know, should it be
- 31:58Speaker 18: afforded the privileges that come with news gathering, even though
- 32:01Speaker 18: they do have some news reporters at the White House?
- 32:04Speaker 18: You're saying they're primarily a political tool. So should that
- 32:07Speaker 18: be reassessed, Zerwick?
- 32:10Speaker 1: Listen, I really do. I think it's a discussion we
- 32:12Speaker 1: need to have. Look, you're not supporting democracy. You're not
- 32:15Speaker 1: supporting the larger values of this culture. They don't even
- 32:18Speaker 1: stand up as an opposition party.
- 32:20Speaker 9: But there's nothing journalistic in what Lachlan Murdoch said.
- 32:24Speaker 2: And you know what?
- 32:25Speaker 1: I say, hey, you know what? Let's take them at
- 32:27Speaker 1: their word. Let's not let them on the plane. You
- 32:29Speaker 1: want to let the Proud Boys on your plane on
- 32:31Speaker 1: Air Force One? No, I don't think so. These guys
- 32:33Speaker 1: are doing the same thing.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 32:37Speaker 1: An entire panel, an entire media show where all the
- 32:41Speaker 1: media experts are saying, you know, it's probably time to
- 32:43Speaker 1: remove Fox from the White House. That was the position then. Now,
- 32:49Speaker 1: it's an attack on the First Amendment. I will say,
- 32:52Speaker 1: the developing news this morning is that the three news
- 32:55Speaker 1: outlets that have been removed, Politico and CNN and Ms. Now,
- 32:57Speaker 1: have all filed a lawsuit against the White House. This will,
- 33:00Speaker 1: of course, work its way through the courts. We'll see
- 33:02Speaker 1: what happens. No guarantees on that subject. They could be
- 33:05Speaker 1: The courts could attempt to force these guys back into
- 33:08Speaker 1: the White House for some reason. That could be what ensues.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I will say, though, is that whatever happens, I think
- 33:14Speaker 1: could be on net a victory for the rest of us.
- 33:17Speaker 1: And here's why I say this, no matter what the
- 33:18Speaker 1: outcome is. One, if if lying. information operations, if these
- 33:26Speaker 1: information manipulation operations are prevented from going back to the
- 33:29Speaker 1: White House, it's a victory for the president to have
- 33:32Speaker 1: an environment that's not full of deceitful people trying to, again,
- 33:37Speaker 1: distort the news and corrupt the American mind. That's a victory.
- 33:41Speaker 1: But simultaneously, if in the end these operations win and
- 33:44Speaker 1: they make it back into the White House, that could
- 33:47Speaker 1: redound to the benefit of conservative news outlets in the
- 33:50Speaker 1: future who are faced with the same kind of chaos
- 33:53Speaker 1: and nonsense that Obama produced in the first place against
- 33:56Speaker 1: conservative news outlets. The left has never hid. its desire
- 34:00Speaker 1: to censor conservative and independent media. They have done it
- 34:03Speaker 1: on a routine basis, whether it's the Obama examples I
- 34:06Speaker 1: just gave you a moment ago, or during the Biden
- 34:10Speaker 1: era and the crackdown on conservative news outlets, especially by
- 34:14Speaker 1: way of the government's relationship with tech companies, trying to
- 34:18Speaker 1: suppress the dissemination of conservative news, trying to bury conservative
- 34:22Speaker 1: news outlets 4,000 pages deep on Google to prevent the
- 34:26Speaker 1: average person from even knowing what's going on in the world.
- 34:29Speaker 1: The left is always leading an attack on information that
- 34:33Speaker 1: it feels imperils its ability to get and secure power.
- 34:37Speaker 1: That's just true. So however this ends up, there's a
- 34:41Speaker 1: very high probability that it could work to our benefit.
- 34:44Speaker 1: But God bless the president for being willing to engage
- 34:46Speaker 1: the fight and for forcing the lens back onto the
- 34:49Speaker 1: media to say, okay, to what extent are these people
- 34:53Speaker 1: actually acting in good faith? Are they really arbiters of
- 34:56Speaker 1: the truth? Or are they misleading the public at the
- 35:00Speaker 1: expense of our republic? Great conversation to have because the
- 35:03Speaker 1: American people are already having it. Every day. Every day.
- 35:07Speaker 1: All right. More in a moment on all of this.
- 35:10Speaker 1: I've got some more things to get to, including the media.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Media going absolutely wild this weekend about an ICE officer
- 35:19Speaker 1: shooting an illegal alien in Austin, Texas, trying to once
- 35:23Speaker 1: again kickstart another insurrection. I've got the details on all
- 35:26Speaker 1: of that and so much more coming up on this
- 35:28Speaker 1: edition of Vince. Two more sponsors to share with you
- 35:30Speaker 1: that make this show possible each day. Native Path Collagen
- 35:33Speaker 1: this morning is one of them. I love Native Path Collagen.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And the reason for this is because I feel better
- 35:40Speaker 1: taking Native Path Collagen. Getting older is not something that
- 35:43Speaker 1: bothers me. I feel wiser each year. But feeling older
- 35:47Speaker 1: is the old body, the mechanic's. which gets a little tough.
- 35:52Speaker 1: You wake up stiff, your skin doesn't bounce back the
- 35:54Speaker 1: same way. It turns out there's a reason for that,
- 35:56Speaker 1: and this is truly why I love Native Path Collagen.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Collagen helps support everything from joints and bones to skin
- 36:03Speaker 1: and hair. You see, the problem is after age 30,
- 36:05Speaker 1: your body often makes less collagen every single year. By
- 36:08Speaker 1: age 60, so many people have lost about half of it.
- 36:10Speaker 1: But Native Path Collagen helps to replenish that protein. It
- 36:13Speaker 1: helps you support the parts of your body that help
- 36:15Speaker 1: you stay active, vital, and make you more like yourself.
- 36:18Speaker 1: And another thing I love about Native Path is if
- 36:20Speaker 1: you don't feel a real difference in your health, you
- 36:23Speaker 1: get your money back. No questions asked, so give it
- 36:26Speaker 1: a try. Plus, I'll get you over 50% off and

- 38:14Speaker 2: All right.
- 38:15Speaker 1: So we get more drama this weekend as the Trump
- 38:18Speaker 1: administration continues his efforts to deport illegal aliens from our country.
- 38:22Speaker 1: The ICE officers were stopping a Venezuelan illegal Sunday afternoon.
- 38:28Speaker 1: And the way the media is reporting this is, oh,
- 38:31Speaker 1: he was just a food delivery driver. He was a
- 38:34Speaker 1: food delivery driver. What the hell happened? ICE officer shoots
- 38:38Speaker 1: Venezuelan man delivering food in Austin. Lawyer says... An ICE
- 38:44Speaker 1: officer shot and seriously wounded a Venezuelan man Sunday afternoon
- 38:48Speaker 1: as he was delivering food. Oh, he was just walking
- 38:50Speaker 1: down the street carrying a food bag and he got
- 38:52Speaker 1: shot for no reason. That's the way the media present
- 38:56Speaker 1: this story. The man was taken to a local hospital
- 38:59Speaker 1: and was in, quote, serious but stable condition after being
- 39:02Speaker 1: shot in the torso, Austin-Travis County EMS Chief Robert Luckritz
- 39:07Speaker 1: said at a news conference. The White House referred NBC
- 39:10Speaker 1: to the Department of Homeland Security for comment. A spokesperson said,
- 39:13Speaker 1: for DHS, said in a statement late Sunday that the
- 39:16Speaker 1: man was stable and was in federal custody, pending removal
- 39:19Speaker 1: from America. Man's name is Wilbur Rafael Garces Perez, 28
- 39:27Speaker 1: years old. His immigration attorney says he's an asylum seeker
- 39:31Speaker 1: who entered the country through a parole program he called
- 39:35Speaker 1: his wife after he was shot and said I was
- 39:37Speaker 1: shot he was yelling in agony and the call cut
- 39:39Speaker 1: off that's what that was all she knew all right
- 39:42Speaker 1: so this happens Sunday they say it's 1 p.m. North
- 39:46Speaker 1: Austin Texas Illegal alien gets popped by an ICE officer. Now,
- 39:50Speaker 1: you probably immediately, if you saw this story, jumped to
- 39:53Speaker 1: a conclusion. Well, what was he doing that led an
- 39:57Speaker 1: ICE officer to shoot him? What was going on there? Now,
- 40:03Speaker 1: there are a number of reports on the subject, including
- 40:06Speaker 1: that he attempted to flee police, that there was a
- 40:09Speaker 1: foot pursuit. A lot of these details were completely left
- 40:13Speaker 1: out of any of the first tellings. Of course, the
- 40:17Speaker 1: lie got halfway around the world before the truth could
- 40:19Speaker 1: get its pants on in that story. And so that
- 40:22Speaker 1: led to lefties taking to the streets in Austin, Texas,
- 40:27Speaker 1: this weekend. Here's some footage. This is from Nick Sorter,
- 40:30Speaker 1: the great Nick Sorter. He captured this. Cut 11. Look
- 40:33Speaker 1: at this. Lefties just taking to the streets in Austin,
- 40:36Speaker 1: knowing absolutely nothing about this case, except that they don't
- 40:39Speaker 1: want any immigration enforcement in America. Watch this. All sorts
- 40:49Speaker 1: of signs, bullhorns, COVID masks, foreign flags. You see Mexican
- 40:57Speaker 1: flags in the background. Look at that. All in opposition.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Abolish ICE? Is that what that flag says? Attacking immigration
- 41:07Speaker 1: enforcement immediately. Now, what would cause a law enforcement officer
- 41:12Speaker 1: to discharge his weapon.
- 41:15Speaker 12: During.
- 41:17Speaker 1: during a law enforcement event, why would that occur? Usually,
- 41:21Speaker 1: almost always, it's actually because there was some sort of
- 41:25Speaker 1: threat to life and limb, some sort of measurable threat
- 41:29Speaker 1: that would require that gun to be discharged. I would
- 41:32Speaker 1: say that it's safe to assume that that's what took
- 41:34Speaker 1: place here. Now, DHS and the FBI are conducting their
- 41:37Speaker 1: own investigations, as they do each time an officer discharges
- 41:41Speaker 1: a weapon to establish the facts. But rather than wait
- 41:44Speaker 1: for the facts, the left has already taken to the streets.
- 41:46Speaker 1: A lot of those lunatics were breaking construction equipment in
- 41:49Speaker 1: the streets and creating blockades in Austin overnight. They instantly
- 41:55Speaker 1: started rioting. They used this as another invitation for insurrection. And,
- 42:02Speaker 1: you know, the police have been trying to contain the
- 42:04Speaker 1: misinformation about this. Here, watch during the briefing yesterday. Here's
- 42:08Speaker 1: the cops trying to explain what happened. Cut 12. Watch this.
- 42:12Speaker 9: Can you confirm how many shots?
- 42:15Speaker 1: I believe it was one gunshot wound. And then, Chief Davis,
- 42:19Speaker 1: I would just like to know if you've received any
- 42:21Speaker 1: kind of briefing whatsoever about the type of operation that
- 42:24Speaker 1: was going on at the time of the shooting. Any
- 42:27Speaker 1: of that, any of those details?
- 42:29Speaker 9: I have not. I do not have those details as
- 42:30Speaker 9: of yet.
- 42:31Speaker 11: Chief Davis, we heard from a councilman over at the
- 42:33Speaker 11: scene earlier that a federal agent's car sideswiped the driver
- 42:39Speaker 11: involved in this shooting and was shot through the back
- 42:42Speaker 11: windshield multiple times. Can you confirm those details?
- 42:44Speaker 9: That's not what I'm hearing. I'm hearing that it was
- 42:46Speaker 9: out on foot. So, again, this is of getting in
- 42:50Speaker 9: front of the camera too soon without the information. But
- 42:53Speaker 9: from what I'm hearing, there was a small foot pursuit. But, again,
- 42:56Speaker 9: this is all very preliminary.
- 42:58Speaker 1: You hear that? One of the reporters, I heard that
- 43:03Speaker 1: I sideswiped the guy and then fired at him through
- 43:05Speaker 1: the back window, shooting him. It's like she's like, I
- 43:07Speaker 1: didn't that doesn't square with any of the information we have.
- 43:11Speaker 1: There was a foot pursuit. Where are you getting these
- 43:13Speaker 1: stories from? Why are you telling why are you expressing
- 43:16Speaker 1: these lies so quickly? The lies are everywhere. The truth
- 43:21Speaker 1: almost nowhere to be found. You know how these stories
- 43:24Speaker 1: usually go. Eventually you get body camera footage showing some
- 43:27Speaker 1: sort of chaos, the illegal alien creating a real threat
- 43:31Speaker 1: to the life of either innocent bystanders or the ICE
- 43:34Speaker 1: officers in their pursuit of justice. You know how easy
- 43:37Speaker 1: it would be to actually solve all of this without
- 43:38Speaker 1: a gun being discharged? Comply with law enforcement. You're here illegally.
- 43:43Speaker 1: DHS says that this guy came in under Biden. and
- 43:46Speaker 1: has stayed in the country illegally. He has final orders
- 43:49Speaker 1: of removal from the United States, and yet he's still
- 43:52Speaker 1: here working for a food delivery service? By the way,
- 43:57Speaker 1: these food delivery services, no immigration checks whatsoever? You're just
- 44:02Speaker 1: hiring illegal aliens? Maybe we should prosecute the food delivery
- 44:06Speaker 1: services that are exploiting illegal aliens in order to make
- 44:10Speaker 1: a buck. We have laws against that. Maybe we should
- 44:14Speaker 1: enforce them against the food delivery services. We shouldn't create
- 44:18Speaker 1: an environment that is a magnet for an invasion. We
- 44:21Speaker 1: should enforce the laws we have on the books. But
- 44:26Speaker 1: the left doesn't want to enforce the laws. The Democrat
- 44:29Speaker 1: congressman for the region in Austin, Texas, is a guy
- 44:31Speaker 1: called Greg Cesar. And Greg Cesar stepped up to the
- 44:36Speaker 1: microphone yesterday and said, you know, the only way out
- 44:38Speaker 1: of all of this chaos is we have to stop
- 44:40Speaker 1: enforcing immigration law entirely. Sorry, what? The way out of
- 44:44Speaker 1: this is lawlessness? Do you hear yourself? Cut 13. Listen
- 44:48Speaker 1: to this.
- 44:50Speaker 4: It is awful that this horror has come to our doorstep.
- 44:55Speaker 4: And as the mayor said, unfortunately, it is not a surprise.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Just a few weeks ago, as we saw the ice
- 45:04Speaker 4: surge come to Austin, especially to north central Austin, I
- 45:10Speaker 4: and others said that ice needed to leave before someone
- 45:14Speaker 4: was shot like in Minneapolis or like in Corpus Christi
- 45:19Speaker 4: or like in Chicago. And that day is here. And
- 45:25Speaker 4: so I think the message remains that for Austin to
- 45:30Speaker 4: be safe, ice should and its surge here in our community.
- 45:39Speaker 1: We should get rid of immigration enforcement. It's not just
- 45:42Speaker 1: keep Austin weird. It's make Austin lawless. That's their plan.
- 45:48Speaker 1: How does that help the people of Austin? It doesn't,
- 45:50Speaker 1: by the way. It doesn't help American citizens. You know,
- 45:53Speaker 1: if Austin, Texas didn't want ICE officers in their streets
- 45:57Speaker 1: deporting people, you know what they could do? There's an
- 46:00Speaker 1: answer to this. There's a way to not have ICE there.
- 46:02Speaker 1: It would be you enforce the immigration laws. You get
- 46:07Speaker 1: illegal aliens out of the country. ICE has something called
- 46:10Speaker 1: the 287G program. Austin, Texas could sign up for it.
- 46:14Speaker 1: They could be a part of it. And they could
- 46:16Speaker 1: get illegal aliens out of the country. Wouldn't require ICE
- 46:19Speaker 1: officers to be in the community at all. If you
- 46:22Speaker 1: did it. But they're not doing that. They're not supporting it.
- 46:26Speaker 1: They're a sanctuary city. And they're fighting like hell, not
- 46:29Speaker 1: for American citizens, but to aid and abet a foreign invasion.
- 46:33Speaker 1: You have to be very frank about what we're dealing
- 46:35Speaker 1: with here. As a member of Congress, of America's Congress,
- 46:40Speaker 1: says the only answer is to assist the invasion. No,
- 46:43Speaker 1: it's not. It's to thwart it. We have to stop it.
- 46:46Speaker 1: And if you're not going to help us, we're going
- 46:48Speaker 1: to do it without you. Crazy, crazy, crazy stuff. So
- 46:52Speaker 1: keep your eyes on that story. The left is trying
- 46:54Speaker 1: to use it already as accelerant for their insurrection this week.
- 46:58Speaker 1: But again, lots of misinformation immediately. coming out about that story.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Yes, indeed.
- 47:05Speaker 1: All right, let me move to another thing. President Trump
- 47:07Speaker 1: this weekend also had another big announcement. He had a
- 47:09Speaker 1: lot of big announcements this weekend. It wasn't just banning
- 47:12Speaker 1: a couple of idiot media outlets. It was also the
- 47:16Speaker 1: fact that he just scored a big deal with Greenland.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Remember how this all began. President Trump's goal was, as
- 47:22Speaker 1: he stated publicly, was to make Greenland a part of
- 47:25Speaker 1: the United States. Now, I want to remind you of something.
- 47:29Speaker 1: This is... the president's operating procedure always. He always is
- 47:37Speaker 1: a maximalist in his first intent. He states a goal
- 47:42Speaker 1: that he may not actually be navigating to in the end.
- 47:46Speaker 1: I want it to be a part of the United States.
- 47:48Speaker 1: And the reason he takes such a far-reaching position is
- 47:52Speaker 1: to navigate to a compromise that improves the hand that
- 47:55Speaker 1: the United States has. This is what you might call,
- 47:58Speaker 1: in fact, he should write a book about it, the
- 48:00Speaker 1: art of the deal, where you start with this ask
- 48:05Speaker 1: that everyone thinks is completely cartoonish. Whoa, whoa, wait a second.
- 48:09Speaker 1: That's way beyond anything anybody should even ask for. And
- 48:12Speaker 1: then you navigate back towards a position that's actually a
- 48:16Speaker 1: massive improvement over where we were in the first place.
- 48:19Speaker 1: And that's what the president did this weekend. Now, the
- 48:22Speaker 1: media is trying to write this off as some sort
- 48:25Speaker 1: of defeat for him. He's like, oh, he didn't get
- 48:28Speaker 1: what he wanted. He wanted Greenland to be a part
- 48:29Speaker 1: of America. And that's not what this is. He's walking
- 48:32Speaker 1: back that position. You people are idiots. You people are idiots.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Here's the president of the United States. Watch this. He writes,
- 48:40Speaker 1: breaking news. I'm pleased to announce that the United States
- 48:42Speaker 1: of America has entered into an agreement with the kingdom
- 48:45Speaker 1: of Denmark and Greenland that gives the United States permanent
- 48:49Speaker 1: control over security and all other needs. In Greenland, completely
- 48:55Speaker 1: addressing all of our many U.S. concerns, there will be
- 48:59Speaker 1: no cost to the United States. At my direction, we
- 49:03Speaker 1: worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that
- 49:06Speaker 1: the United States will forever have the complete ability to
- 49:10Speaker 1: do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure
- 49:12Speaker 1: and defend the security of Greenland and the United States
- 49:15Speaker 1: of America. Additionally, from now on, no U.S. adversary can
- 49:19Speaker 1: ever have a base in Greenland, have a military presence
- 49:24Speaker 1: in Greenland. This is a message to China, by the way.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Or make sensitive investments in Greenland without our express written approval.
- 49:33Speaker 1: For over 100 years, presidents have known the strategic importance
- 49:36Speaker 1: of Greenland, but none of them were able to do
- 49:39Speaker 1: anything about it. I am proud to be the president
- 49:41Speaker 1: that permanently and conclusively addressed this very important situation. This
- 49:46Speaker 1: is an infinite life agreement. There is no end. We
- 49:49Speaker 1: are very honored and proud of what has just taken place,
- 49:51Speaker 1: and everything agreed to today will be cherished by the
- 49:53Speaker 1: American people. We will immediately begin the process of developing
- 49:58Speaker 1: a large military presence in the appropriate part of Greenland,
- 50:03Speaker 1: of which there are many. We will work with the
- 50:06Speaker 1: people of Greenland in its development and construction. This solution
- 50:09Speaker 1: is a great one for the United States of America, Denmark, Greenland,
- 50:12Speaker 1: and all of our allies. We look forward to working
- 50:14Speaker 1: with the wonderful people of Denmark and Greenland towards a
- 50:17Speaker 1: magnificent future. With respect to this large and highly strategic
- 50:21Speaker 1: parcel of land, we will be very protective of it.
- 50:25Speaker 1: This is a dream come true for the United States
- 50:27Speaker 1: of America, one that is very important, historic, and special.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J.
- 50:34Speaker 14: Trump.
- 50:37Speaker 1: We have a deal. We have a deal. So what
- 50:40Speaker 1: do we know? Well, we know that not only has
- 50:43Speaker 1: the United States announced this, Greenland and Denmark have also
- 50:48Speaker 1: announced this. The Wall Street Journal here, the governments of
- 50:51Speaker 1: Greenland and Denmark, which have had sovereignty over the island,
- 50:54Speaker 1: confirmed they will sign the agreement during the United Nations
- 50:58Speaker 1: General Assembly this week. Quote, it is gratifying that we
- 51:02Speaker 1: are about to enter into an agreement that ensures and
- 51:05Speaker 1: strengthens the security, of Greenland, the Kingdom of Denmark, the
- 51:10Speaker 1: United States, and the Western Alliance, Danish Prime Minister Meta
- 51:17Speaker 1: Fredriksen said in a statement. Greenland's leader also saying that
- 51:20Speaker 1: the agreement recognizes Greenland's interests and our place in international cooperation.
- 51:25Speaker 1: This is to the benefit of us all. The United
- 51:28Speaker 1: States will have a permanent military presence on Greenland, even
- 51:32Speaker 1: if it becomes an independent nation, allowing for an increase
- 51:36Speaker 1: In the number of bases that are there, a State
- 51:38Speaker 1: Department official said, the agreement also bans countries who are
- 51:42Speaker 1: not part of NATO, notably China and Russia, from establishing
- 51:47Speaker 1: their own base or making investments on the island that
- 51:50Speaker 1: threaten U.S. security. Greenland will forever be part of the
- 51:54Speaker 1: strategic defense area of North America and exclude any adversary
- 51:59Speaker 1: from it and the surrounding area, Secretary of State Marco
- 52:03Speaker 1: Rubio said. Now, the Wall Street Journal goes on to
- 52:08Speaker 1: do what I just described a moment ago, pretend that
- 52:10Speaker 1: this is like some sort of setback for Trump. The
- 52:13Speaker 1: deal Trump describes falls far short of his stated desire
- 52:16Speaker 1: for Greenland to become sovereign U.S. territory. These people do
- 52:20Speaker 1: not know how to negotiate anything. Anything. President Trump started
- 52:27Speaker 1: with the maximalist position. You will become a part of America.
- 52:33Speaker 1: And what did he achieve in the end? The very
- 52:36Speaker 1: thing he set out to achieve in the first place,
- 52:39Speaker 1: which is to grow the U.S. sphere of influence in
- 52:42Speaker 1: our hemisphere and to protect the U.S. homeland from every angle. Now,
- 52:49Speaker 1: from Greenland. This is a big victory for President Trump,
- 52:53Speaker 1: and it shouldn't be seen as anything but. A very, very,
- 52:58Speaker 1: very big development this weekend. And pay attention to that U.N.
- 53:02Speaker 1: General Assembly this week because There's going to be a
- 53:04Speaker 1: lot going on. You got the president of the United
- 53:06Speaker 1: States and Zelensky. Zelensky claiming this weekend that we may
- 53:11Speaker 1: be getting closer to some sort of arrangement for peace
- 53:14Speaker 1: with Russia. God willing, that's true. That would be big
- 53:17Speaker 1: for diesel prices, by the way, if they can come
- 53:20Speaker 1: up with a peace arrangement with Russia. Additionally, the president
- 53:24Speaker 1: is going to be meeting with Xi Jinping this week,
- 53:26Speaker 1: the Chinese leader. He's meeting with Suran Mamdani, the commie.
- 53:31Speaker 1: This week, he's got a lot of meetings with communists.
- 53:33Speaker 1: this week. And then he's going to be inking this
- 53:35Speaker 1: deal for security in Greenland. So as we go through
- 53:39Speaker 1: the week, you and I are going to have a
- 53:41Speaker 1: lot to discuss. The president's going to stay very, very
- 53:44Speaker 1: busy this week. Fascinating to watch. But the leaders of Denmark, Greenland,
- 53:48Speaker 1: all confirming this massive deal. The president here with a
- 53:53Speaker 1: lot to be proud of. All right, one more thing
- 53:55Speaker 1: about the president's announcements this weekend. This one is one
- 53:59Speaker 1: that you should flag because I think there's a Pretty
- 54:02Speaker 1: crystal clear rationale that's developing for it. You know this
- 54:05Speaker 1: triumphal arch that President Trump is trying to build near
- 54:09Speaker 1: the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery? This thing is going
- 54:13Speaker 1: to be massive. Absolutely massive. And I'm going to be
- 54:18Speaker 1: eager to see it. Let me see if the president
- 54:20Speaker 1: put a version of it on his Truth Social at all.
- 54:25Speaker 1: The triumphal arch is going to be so cool when
- 54:28Speaker 1: the thing's finally built. We just found out more about
- 54:31Speaker 1: it this weekend because the president announced that it's also
- 54:36Speaker 1: going to have drones and snipers.
- 54:41Speaker 4: Yes.
- 54:42Speaker 1: You heard me correctly. Drones and snipers? What's that? At
- 54:47Speaker 1: the strong request of the United States military, and for
- 54:50Speaker 1: national security purposes, I've agreed to convert the magnificent Triumphal Arch,
- 54:56Speaker 1: planned since the Civil War era many years ago, at
- 54:59Speaker 1: the receptive circle adjoining the Arlington Memorial Bridge into a
- 55:02Speaker 1: top-grade military complex slash Triumphal Arch to house, store, and
- 55:10Speaker 1: have the rapid ability to use large numbers of drones
- 55:14Speaker 1: plus snipers on both the roof and the plaza areas.
- 55:19Speaker 1: and additionally have and hold large quantities of sniper ammunition
- 55:24Speaker 1: in storage. Okay, an ammo depot right at the Triumphal Arch?
- 55:31Speaker 1: There will be no facility like this anywhere in the world,
- 55:34Speaker 1: the president says. Out of the top 59 cities and capitals, Washington, D.C.
- 55:39Speaker 1: is the only one in the world that does not
- 55:40Speaker 1: have a Triumphal Arch, but it will now, and by
- 55:44Speaker 1: far the greatest of them all. Thank you for your
- 55:47Speaker 1: attention to this matter. President Donald J. Trump.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Okay.
- 55:53Speaker 1: The arch is going to be awesome. It's going to
- 55:55Speaker 1: be super cool. But now it's going to be super
- 55:59Speaker 1: decked out with snipers and drones. Now, the drone, let
- 56:03Speaker 1: me dwell on the drone thing for a moment. Remember,
- 56:06Speaker 1: President Trump is building this ballroom at the White House, too.
- 56:09Speaker 1: What does it feature? It features a drone port on
- 56:11Speaker 1: the roof. The president suddenly, and I would... I don't
- 56:16Speaker 1: know about you, but I've been thinking a lot about this.
- 56:18Speaker 1: The president must have intelligence that is suggesting that drones
- 56:23Speaker 1: are very rapidly becoming a very necessary form of defense
- 56:29Speaker 1: for America's most sensitive locations, like the White House, for instance, Washington, D.C.,
- 56:36Speaker 1: our nation's capital. Defensive drones are apparently becoming very, very
- 56:41Speaker 1: important in our arsenal. So the president's building a drone
- 56:44Speaker 1: port at the new ballroom at the White House on
- 56:48Speaker 1: the East Wing. And then subsequently, he's also building, it
- 56:50Speaker 1: looks like a drone port associated with the new Triumphal
- 56:54Speaker 1: Arch in Arlington. So this, I think, is a sign, obviously,
- 56:58Speaker 1: of the national security concerns the president has and the
- 57:01Speaker 1: role that these drones are gonna play in our defense,
- 57:04Speaker 1: which is kind of interesting, very intriguing. And I'd love
- 57:07Speaker 1: to know more about that. Another piece of this, of course,
- 57:10Speaker 1: is the fact that he's gonna contain, I guess he's
- 57:14Speaker 1: saying snipers. like gear and ammunition for snipers at the Arch? Well,
- 57:19Speaker 1: he must think that there's a good rationale for that. Now,
- 57:22Speaker 1: one of the rationales that might be built into all
- 57:24Speaker 1: of this is the justification perhaps for the funding. My
- 57:29Speaker 1: first instinct seeing this news this weekend is that the
- 57:32Speaker 1: president needs to categorize this as a national security priority,
- 57:35Speaker 1: as a military facility, because it increases the odds that
- 57:39Speaker 1: he can successfully get all of this built and have
- 57:42Speaker 1: the funding at his disposal to do it. If it's
- 57:45Speaker 1: both a memorial as well as a military facility, perhaps
- 57:51Speaker 1: as a logistical matter, it increases his ability to get
- 57:54Speaker 1: this thing done without the left stopping it. Because you
- 57:57Speaker 1: know their attitude. They try and do everything they can
- 57:59Speaker 1: to stop these great projects from taking place. So this
- 58:02Speaker 1: is one I would flag because I think that the president,
- 58:06Speaker 1: there's a tactical reason he's doing this. It could be
- 58:09Speaker 1: just the logistics of getting it built, but also for
- 58:12Speaker 1: the defense of our nation. So keep an eye on that.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Kind of a fascinating story. Very fascinating. And I got
- 58:18Speaker 1: a lot more fascinating stories to talk about with you.
