- 0:15Speaker 1: Rogue Recap.
- 0:16Speaker 2: What's Up guys, Linda hear from Rogue Recap at Rogue
- 0:20Speaker 2: Recap on x AT Lynda Mick. Make sure you like
- 0:23Speaker 2: and subscribe and all the cool things you know. Make
- 0:27Speaker 2: sure you keep on listening. I am doing my best
- 0:29Speaker 2: to get these podcasts up here, and for those of
- 0:31Speaker 2: you who are regular listeners, I want to just let
- 0:34Speaker 2: you know that you know I'm producing, editing, finding all
- 0:38Speaker 2: the clips. It's midnight on a Tuesday and that's when
- 0:40Speaker 2: I'm recording, So I promise you. I want nothing more
- 0:44Speaker 2: than to tell you how much everyone's pissing me off.
- 0:46Speaker 2: But sometimes it's hard to get here at the end
- 0:48Speaker 2: of a.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Really long day.
- 0:49Speaker 2: So having said that, let's talk about the dumbest person
- 0:52Speaker 2: of today. Super special person is Governor Tim Walls of Minnesota.
- 0:57Speaker 3: You might remember him.
- 0:58Speaker 2: He tried to pretend to be vice president for like
- 1:01Speaker 2: three seconds with Kamala Harris, which was truly the blind
- 1:04Speaker 2: leading the blind in that campaign, so his appointed Director
- 1:08Speaker 2: of Natural Resources, Sarah Strawman. They drained a lake after
- 1:14Speaker 2: they accidentally left a valve open, and now it.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Is a field of dead fish.
- 1:20Speaker 2: She was just celebrated as the first woman to lead
- 1:23Speaker 2: the Department of Natural Resources in Minnesota. You stupid, stupid, stupid,
- 1:30Speaker 2: stupid woman. These are the people who are so concerned
- 1:34Speaker 2: about the fact that they were born as a woman,
- 1:38Speaker 2: and this deibs that they literally can't do their job.
- 1:42Speaker 2: She drained a lake. She's the director of natural Resources.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It's truly the antithesis of being good at your job.
- 1:51Speaker 2: She's actually so bad at her job that she killed
- 1:54Speaker 2: an entire lake of fish. So I think that we
- 1:57Speaker 2: should celebrate her firing. I think she should go like
- 2:00Speaker 2: five minutes ago, and whoever is the best person for
- 2:03Speaker 2: the job maybe should get it back.
- 2:05Speaker 3: And maybe we should.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Stop hiring people because they're women, or they're black, or
- 2:10Speaker 2: they're Asian, or they're Indian or they're whatever. I am
- 2:14Speaker 2: so sick of that shit. It is so irritating to me.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Why can't I like you and hate you just because
- 2:21Speaker 2: of who you are as opposed to what you look like.
- 2:24Speaker 2: What a crack of shit you don't mean people I
- 2:26Speaker 2: know that I don't like, and it has nothing to
- 2:29Speaker 2: do with the color of their skin. It has nothing
- 2:32Speaker 2: to do with whether they're a man or a woman.
- 2:34Speaker 2: It just means you're an asshole, that's all. It is
- 2:36Speaker 2: a very simple thing. I mean, it's really gotten to
- 2:40Speaker 2: a special place where it's like, oh, look, we all
- 2:42Speaker 2: think alike and we can hang out and yeah, I mean.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Sure, birds of a feather, right.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I think that that cliche exists for a reason without question.
- 2:51Speaker 2: But sometimes there are definitely people in the group where
- 2:54Speaker 2: you're like, bro, no, you're really dumb, like you're bringing
- 2:57Speaker 2: down the average.
- 2:58Speaker 3: You got to go. In this case, she's got to go.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And you know what's funny is that I have no
- 3:04Speaker 2: doubt in the coming days she'll have like a really
- 3:07Speaker 2: good reason why this happened and it won't be her fault,
- 3:11Speaker 2: which is even worse because you know, the sign of
- 3:14Speaker 2: a good leader is somebody who can make a culpe
- 3:16Speaker 2: of the moment, you know, for your team, like listen,
- 3:20Speaker 2: the buck stops with me, all those sorts of things,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and instead, now we've got a situation with this yo yo,
- 3:27Speaker 2: where we're talking about how excited we are that she's
- 3:29Speaker 2: a woman. Hi, if you're a woman, maybe you could
- 3:33Speaker 2: learn how to put the cap back on, just saying,
- 3:36Speaker 2: you know, simple things, little things, you know, just thinking
- 3:38Speaker 2: out loud.
- 3:39Speaker 3: And now we're.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Upset that Trump is federalizing DC. Yeah, Trump is making
- 3:46Speaker 2: the right decision. We are at a place right now
- 3:48Speaker 2: where we have over a hundred one hundred deaths in
- 3:54Speaker 2: DC already this month.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Really, is that where we're at. That's what's going on.
- 4:00Speaker 3: These people are insane.
- 4:02Speaker 2: They think for one second that they have a right
- 4:07Speaker 2: to somehow say that this isn't needed or is it necessary.
- 4:10Speaker 2: People are afraid to go out of their houses. We've
- 4:13Speaker 2: got carjackings, we've got extreme, extreme homelessness, we've got encampments.
- 4:18Speaker 2: And let me tell you something, DC is not alone.
- 4:21Speaker 2: This is happening all over the country, all over the world,
- 4:28Speaker 2: and it all has one common theme. Do you know
- 4:30Speaker 2: what the theme is, Well, there's probably two themes. There's
- 4:35Speaker 2: this ridiculous, an incestuous amount of migration, all of it illegal,
- 4:41Speaker 2: all of it from third world of countries and Islamic
- 4:43Speaker 2: countries that could give a shit less about Western culture,
- 4:47Speaker 2: and all of it is liberal leadership. Because you see
- 4:50Speaker 2: liberal leadership has one thing on the agenda and one
- 4:54Speaker 2: thing only power. They want power, They want to keep
- 4:58Speaker 2: their power, and they want to make sure that they
- 5:00Speaker 2: have you under thumb. The problem is they're so busy
- 5:04Speaker 2: trying to keep their power that they're losing everything around them.
- 5:08Speaker 2: When you burn everything around you, what do you have
- 5:11Speaker 2: left to govern? I mean, honestly, I always say that
- 5:14Speaker 2: to people when they say, oh, I can't believe that
- 5:17Speaker 2: you're getting so upset.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I can't believe that you're outraged by X, Y and Z.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Well, how would you feel if it was your mother's son,
- 5:24Speaker 2: child whatever. That's what I do whenever I'm trying to
- 5:27Speaker 2: think of something and I'm trying to understand how someone
- 5:30Speaker 2: else is feeling, or put myself in their shoes when
- 5:33Speaker 2: someone is reacting or they're freaking out, that's when I
- 5:37Speaker 2: have that moment and I say, you know what, I
- 5:40Speaker 2: get it because if someone came over to my child,
- 5:43Speaker 2: if someone came over to my husband, if someone came
- 5:47Speaker 2: over to my mom and did any sort of I
- 5:50Speaker 2: don't know, extremist behavior like shove them, try to rob them,
- 5:54Speaker 2: slash them, whatever it is, nothing could stop me from
- 6:01Speaker 2: taking care of that person. Myself with my bare hands.
- 6:05Speaker 2: And that's another problem too. Number one, not enough people
- 6:08Speaker 2: know how to defend themselves. Please take a self defense class.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Go out, learn how to use a firearm and protect
- 6:15Speaker 2: your home. Learn how to use your hands when you're
- 6:18Speaker 2: out in public and you can't have your firearm if
- 6:20Speaker 2: you don't have a concealed carry, or if you're somewhere
- 6:22Speaker 2: where it's not allowed. And last, but not least, get
- 6:26Speaker 2: off your damn cell phone. What are you looking at?
- 6:29Speaker 2: Have you not spent enough time gazing down? Look at
- 6:33Speaker 2: your neck? You have tech neck. It looks bad. Take
- 6:37Speaker 2: a break, touch grass.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Look up.
- 6:41Speaker 2: This is a massive issue in our culture. There is
- 6:45Speaker 2: nothing on that phone that is more important than your life.
- 6:48Speaker 2: But I see it every day. See people on the
- 6:50Speaker 2: subway looking down. They're not paying attention, and then they
- 6:53Speaker 2: get shoved on the tracks. And you're like, I don't
- 6:55Speaker 2: know how that happened.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Oh really, I do.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm looking around, I'm looking really close actually, and I'm
- 7:01Speaker 2: watching people asleep.
- 7:03Speaker 3: At the switch.
- 7:05Speaker 2: This is the issue, and that's why Trump is saying
- 7:08Speaker 2: it's not right. Number One, there's a ton of people
- 7:11Speaker 2: dosing people and giving out the addresses of officials and
- 7:14Speaker 2: senators and and radio and.
- 7:16Speaker 3: TV hosts and all sorts of things.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Right, So that's that's wrong, because you should be able
- 7:20Speaker 2: to do your job and feel safe and all the things.
- 7:23Speaker 2: But in addition to that, they're fire bombing their homes,
- 7:27Speaker 2: They're fire bombing their cars, you know. There there they're
- 7:30Speaker 2: shootouts all over the place. And these are young people.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And for all of this bullshit about how we care
- 7:38Speaker 2: about the minorities in this country, the amount of black
- 7:41Speaker 2: kids that I saw that were killed in the DC
- 7:44Speaker 2: metro area in the last I don't know, six months,
- 7:48Speaker 2: it's frightening, and it's a really you know, there's there's
- 7:52Speaker 2: this sort of.
- 7:53Speaker 3: This underlying, this underlying issue.
- 7:55Speaker 2: And I work on another show with some friends and
- 7:59Speaker 2: it's all about reaching inner city youth and it's hosted
- 8:03Speaker 2: by a bunch of really great guys and they work
- 8:05Speaker 2: with you know, the police Athletic League and other groups
- 8:07Speaker 2: like this. And one of the things that they always
- 8:10Speaker 2: point out is, you know, we got these fatherless homes.
- 8:13Speaker 3: We have these cycles of abuse of.
- 8:15Speaker 2: The government as system programs, whether it's welfare, food stamps, housing,
- 8:20Speaker 2: whatever it is, and they encourage you to have more
- 8:24Speaker 2: kids more families, because the more kids you have, the
- 8:27Speaker 2: bigger your family is, the bigger the space you need,
- 8:30Speaker 2: the more stamps you need, the less time you have
- 8:33Speaker 2: to work, obviously because youve got to take care of
- 8:34Speaker 2: your kids. But you're not having you don't have a
- 8:38Speaker 2: family structure. You're having kids because you're trying to dupe
- 8:44Speaker 2: the system. It's just not a way of life that
- 8:48Speaker 2: we should be supporting. And I really do appreciate now
- 8:51Speaker 2: that President Trump is doing different things, like taking all
- 8:55Speaker 2: of the funding away from groups and organizations that promote
- 9:00Speaker 2: and fund things that have nothing to do with the
- 9:03Speaker 2: American dream, have nothing to do with a government that
- 9:08Speaker 2: wants to help its people when they're down on their luck.
- 9:10Speaker 2: There's down on there's down on your luck, and then
- 9:12Speaker 2: making your own luck. And there's a huge difference. And
- 9:16Speaker 2: it's it's a long standing problem since you know, the
- 9:19Speaker 2: seventies and the abuse of the system. And today you know,
- 9:22Speaker 2: we're moving the homeless out of d C. And people
- 9:25Speaker 2: are saying, I heard this one guy and he goes,
- 9:27Speaker 2: where do you want us to go?
- 9:28Speaker 3: And what do you want us to do?
- 9:29Speaker 2: And I thought, you know what, it's a really interesting
- 9:31Speaker 2: point because Muriel Bowser, who is.
- 9:34Speaker 3: The mayor of DC.
- 9:36Speaker 2: You know, she's made a lot of mistakes, and there's
- 9:38Speaker 2: no question, and she's got, you know, a black chief
- 9:42Speaker 2: of police and a black chief of staff, and you
- 9:45Speaker 2: know they're doing all of these hires and it's all
- 9:47Speaker 2: about you know, diversity and equity and inclusion and all
- 9:51Speaker 2: the things. But your city's a hot mess, and these
- 9:54Speaker 2: people that are leading these divisions of your government are
- 9:58Speaker 2: doing a really bad job and everyone is paying the
- 10:01Speaker 2: price for it. At some point, there's got to be
- 10:05Speaker 2: an understanding of the fact that you have made this
- 10:08Speaker 2: massive mistake and now the National Guard needs to come
- 10:11Speaker 2: in and help you police your city because two things. One,
- 10:16Speaker 2: you called yourself a sanctuary city in twenty seventeen when
- 10:19Speaker 2: we tried to do different things to protect the you know,
- 10:23Speaker 2: the DC state. And two, now that you have so
- 10:27Speaker 2: many illegal immigrants in your city, you don't have space,
- 10:31Speaker 2: you don't have housing for people that are American citizens.
- 10:35Speaker 2: And now, whether they fell on hard times, whether you
- 10:39Speaker 2: know the mental institution that they were housed and closed,
- 10:42Speaker 2: whether they you know, had a bad accident and can't
- 10:46Speaker 2: afford the medical bills and it bankrupted.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Them, whatever it is.
- 10:51Speaker 2: But these are the things, these are the issues that
- 10:55Speaker 2: these people are facing. So when you say, well, I
- 10:57Speaker 2: don't know where we're going to put them, and I
- 10:59Speaker 2: don't know what we're going to do, and I don't
- 11:00Speaker 2: know what Trump's solution is, I know what.
- 11:01Speaker 3: The solution is.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Get the illegal immigrants out of all of the housing,
- 11:06Speaker 2: get the illegal immigrants out of all the low income housing,
- 11:10Speaker 2: Get the illegal immigrants out of our country, and then
- 11:13Speaker 2: we will have the funds, the resources, and the housing
- 11:17Speaker 2: to take care of our homeless and are mentally unstable.
- 11:22Speaker 3: That's what we need to do.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And instead you making this grand standing thing this is
- 11:27Speaker 2: our state, We're here to protect it.
- 11:29Speaker 3: No you're not.
- 11:30Speaker 2: People are getting murdered and carjacked and raped and stabbed.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I mean literally every day. It's not like once in
- 11:40Speaker 2: a while, it's all the time. What are you doing?
- 11:44Speaker 2: And now you want to say it's Trump's fault. You
- 11:47Speaker 2: want to hire protesters because you don't have enough people there.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Even the protesters are afraid to go to DC.
- 11:53Speaker 4: They don't want to be protesting at night. They're afraid
- 11:56Speaker 4: to get shot, mug jumped. This is a this is
- 12:00Speaker 4: a serious issue. I am sincere about this. It's all
- 12:05Speaker 4: over the country. And there's another major problem that I
- 12:09Speaker 4: see and I just saw it tonight too on x
- 12:12Speaker 4: Is everybody is filming these horrific scenes where people are
- 12:16Speaker 4: getting grabbed, raped, beaten, held down, children, adults. You know,
- 12:23Speaker 4: it doesn't matter.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I don't know what the trigger is and what is
- 12:27Speaker 2: going on, but I can tell you one thing.
- 12:29Speaker 3: It's not good. It's just not good.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And the idea that we think that we can fix
- 12:36Speaker 2: this without some sort of federal intervention is kind of silly.
- 12:42Speaker 2: We're past that point. We need the help, and we
- 12:46Speaker 2: need to have some sort of moral clarity, and I
- 12:48Speaker 2: don't know how the hell to get it. I'll tell
- 12:49Speaker 2: you that because there's definitely not enough people in church.
- 12:52Speaker 2: We need more God in the house, we need more
- 12:55Speaker 2: families as a unit, we need more God in school.
- 12:59Speaker 2: And I don't even care if it's denominational. I just
- 13:02Speaker 2: wanted to be hey, guys, there's a higher power they're
- 13:05Speaker 2: looking over you. Please try to do the right thing.
- 13:08Speaker 2: You know, maybe you don't know the Ten commandments, but
- 13:11Speaker 2: there's got to be some part.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Of you that knows. Hm.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Maybe I shouldn't totally beat the shit out of this
- 13:16Speaker 2: stranger and ask my friend to film it. It's probably
- 13:19Speaker 2: not a good idea. And that's really I mean, I'm
- 13:22Speaker 2: not even kidding. That's missing. I saw this little girl
- 13:24Speaker 2: today in New Zealand. You know, young Arab kid comes up,
- 13:28Speaker 2: starts to call her all kinds of names and starts
- 13:30Speaker 2: to beat her up. Somebody starts filming it because the
- 13:33Speaker 2: little girl kicked his ass, God bless her. But the
- 13:36Speaker 2: idea that there was a bunch of other little kids
- 13:39Speaker 2: standing around.
- 13:40Speaker 3: None of them jumped in to.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Help the little girl. They let the little boy try
- 13:43Speaker 2: and hurt her. She's in her school uniform, her little
- 13:46Speaker 2: skirt and her sweater, and this kid's coming up behind her,
- 13:49Speaker 2: and I mean they're really fighting.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I'm like, where are the teachers.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Why is there no other student that's like, hey, don't
- 13:56Speaker 2: do that. That's what's missing in our culture. And when
- 14:00Speaker 2: you look at something that happened in Cincinnati and you
- 14:03Speaker 2: see this woman Holly, who jumped in to help this
- 14:06Speaker 2: man and was like, you got to stop, you're going
- 14:08Speaker 2: to kill him. And then they beat the shit out
- 14:10Speaker 2: of her and nobody helps her. Only one person in
- 14:14Speaker 2: that entire group, called nine to one one. I mean,
- 14:19Speaker 2: where are we as a society and yet we have
- 14:23Speaker 2: these really disgusting marrors. Whether it's you know, Hochel. I
- 14:28Speaker 2: don't want to say it's Adams because I think Adams
- 14:30Speaker 2: probably would welcome the National Guard. I'm not sure about that,
- 14:32Speaker 2: but I think he might. But you know, you look
- 14:35Speaker 2: at Hochel, you look at Mom Donnie, you look at
- 14:38Speaker 2: Karen Bass in LA. You look at Gavin Newsom, you
- 14:42Speaker 2: look at what's happening in Chicago at Brandon Johnson and Pritzker,
- 14:46Speaker 2: and then you look at what's happening in DC with Bowser,
- 14:49Speaker 2: and you have to say to yourself, this is all wrong.
- 14:53Speaker 2: We have to stop. We have to start protecting our own.
- 14:57Speaker 2: There's nobody in their right mind that's out there going,
- 14:59Speaker 2: oh yeah, this feels good. Everybody. We have to be done.
- 15:04Speaker 2: And you know what, We've got to start helping each other.
- 15:07Speaker 2: If you see an elderly person getting attacked, call on
- 15:10Speaker 2: nine one one, tell them it's an emergency. Then run
- 15:13Speaker 2: over if you are okay and well enough, and try
- 15:17Speaker 2: to intervene protect the elderly person. Now, if you are
- 15:20Speaker 2: elderly yourself, or you are physically disabled in some way.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I'm obviously not telling you to do that, but if
- 15:27Speaker 2: you're a young, spry person and you can help this person,
- 15:30Speaker 2: do it because we've got to change the culture. This
- 15:33Speaker 2: can't be the way that it is. And these are
- 15:36Speaker 2: those defining moments where you really realize what kind of
- 15:39Speaker 2: person you are. Are you the kind of person that
- 15:41Speaker 2: stands on the sideline and films the horrible event when
- 15:45Speaker 2: you could have put your phone in your pocket or
- 15:47Speaker 2: stood it up somewhere and filmed it and then went
- 15:49Speaker 2: in and jumped in and tried to help. You could
- 15:51Speaker 2: be the difference between somebody living and dying. And there
- 15:56Speaker 2: has to be a national outrage, there really does, and
- 16:00Speaker 2: it can't just be a few of us.
- 16:01Speaker 3: It's got to be a lot of us. We have
- 16:03Speaker 3: to get organized, we have to have.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Structure, and we have to bring moral clarity and a
- 16:08Speaker 2: high ground back to this country.
- 16:11Speaker 3: We can do it. I sure shit.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Don't want to end up like London or Paris. They
- 16:15Speaker 2: are unrecognizable. Do not let that happen to the United States.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Please please, please, please find it within yourself, take the
- 16:24Speaker 2: high road, do the right thing, make good choices, Stop
- 16:29Speaker 2: letting the bad guy win.
- 16:30Speaker 3: It's enough already. I am Lynda MacLaughlin. Guys, we're traveling
- 16:35Speaker 3: this week.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I'm going to be on the road, but I'm going
- 16:38Speaker 2: to do my best to get a couple more shows
- 16:40Speaker 2: up this week. Wish me luck. I'm going to Alaska.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I've never been there before, so here. It's a very,
- 16:46Speaker 2: very long trip, but I thank you as always for listening.
- 16:49Speaker 3: We will see you next time. Never check me out.
- 16:52Speaker 3: ACTU the make tact Cavity and stay safe.
- 16:55Speaker 1: The right thing
- 17:02Speaker 2: Of the doings thing
