- 0:05[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome in.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome in.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_03]: It is Friday morning, the 17th.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_03]: We are a week away until the Broncos will be picking.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_03]: Probably.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_03]: Kendall joined by Eric trickle.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_03]: This is Broncos for breakfast.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_03]: Eric, good morning to you out here in Denver.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_03]: We are experienced a freeze warning.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_03]: It was like 80 degrees yesterday and I woke up this morning and it's 33, 34.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_03]: So I went to bed last night.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, honey, no, you told me there's a freeze warning is the kick on the heat.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_03]: Nips off out here.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_03]: So that's I think they say in Denver don't plant your what is it perennials and tell them other's day because you are going to have a freeze.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_03]: So hope and for some snow as well.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_03]: We need it.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously otherwise you folks downstream of the Colorado River are in trouble.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_03]: You already might be, but we need the water for sure.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_03]: And.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's draft week.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see Eric.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_03]: Is that I got to ask is that the Breville symbol or the Empire Okay, yeah, yeah, okay cool cool.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_03]: I played so many hours of battle front two
- 1:15[SPEAKER_03]: growing up on the PS2 like they just go back to conquest with one right not the new one no no not PS2 like oh like we're talking like I was a good bit of a junior high school and I played it and it's through college still play it sometimes I busted it out.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_03]: when Natalie was not a couple of weeks ago and did some galactic conquest, but I always picked the Empire.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_03]: I just, I don't know, they're just, they're clean.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_03]: Don't interfere for them in real life.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_03]: And my wife and I are two episodes away I finishing the new season of new season to Andor.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_03]: So we're, we're getting there.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_03]: It's been enjoyable for the most part.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's been as good as the first season, but it's been good.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I still haven't finished the first season of Andor.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, everybody says the best Star Wars TV show.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: For live action, I'm sure it is, I have issues with the animation stuff because that stuff is outstanding.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I haven't done it to the new mall show yet.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's supposed to be really good.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: But then Battlefront 2, I spent a lot of nights, a lot of sleepovers with friends, just play in that just all night long.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: And actually got my wife into it and the kid.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: And so we actually, you know, on the Xbox or
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: We put an absolute love that game, but the new battlefronts are absolutely terrible, like they're so bad.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I mean, it's a week away.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about the weather.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: We've had snow this last week for Alaska.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's always right around the eastern.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to get snow.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so we've had snow three times.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's been very wet, rainy cold, which absolutely stinks.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: But a week away to the draft.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm excited for it.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I could definitely
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: use that break after the week that I've had, it's been absolutely terrible.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully you know next week, it gets a lot better.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: So we see, but yeah, we can begin talking about trap, Trump and then George Biden said some pretty interesting stuff in a Zoom conference call yesterday.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think we can get right into that, but first we want to say a little bit everybody in the chat, especially.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_03]: didn't really come in in with a super chat and the the coffee of course as well and I can never remember if it's Denver Luke is that you got like my champ there no that's the first evolution pokemon there whatever machop what's the middle one
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Machoke Machoke Machoke.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, yep.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_03]: But thank you, Eric.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, good to see you down for Luke.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_03]: Appreciate you so much with the coffee.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_03]: I'll drink to that.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_03]: I've been using this mug as a late Oakalus island Florida.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: Florida's weird place, but Oakalus island is absolutely beautiful.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_03]: So shout out to them.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_03]: We got our guys Steven Bungarner in the house.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's a good morning, guys, Steven.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you'd appreciate this, but one of my neighbors in the
- 4:02[SPEAKER_03]: other end of my townhouse row is a big Nebraska fan.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_03]: So we've had some friendly midwestern, you know, stair downs and hadn't seen him for a bit, but I was wearing my IOS stuff and he was wearing his Nebraska stuff and I finally got a dig on him for a Iowa Knuck and Nebraska out of the tournament.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_03]: So God bless him.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_03]: Good luck to your Huskers coming in.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_03]: We stayed in
- 4:24[SPEAKER_03]: Lincoln driving two and from Iowa for Christmas this last year and it was it was nice I mean Lincoln's it was clean it was nice is fun Nice hotel good hotel bar appreciate it that as well after the drive my wife drove the two pets and I drove the kid in car and I needed the hotel bar after 12 hours with a not yet two year old but good morning to you good to see a Sentinel said the final mockdown yes it is yes it is Dave glassman
- 4:52[SPEAKER_03]: good to see you buddy coming in here.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_03]: Our guy Shiloh, good morning fellas and MHA it's always appreciate you.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_03]: Keith is in the house, appreciate you.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: Shiloh says PS2 and OG Xbox are amazing consoles.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_03]: We had to have growing up with, yeah, I probably spent the most time on Xbox 360, but the you had the back play.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_03]: So I had the old Xbox things that could still play on it.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_03]: And then in college, one of my friends had the 64, and we played an ungodly amount of hours of the original Smash Brothers, like just,
- 5:20[SPEAKER_03]: insane amount of hours of that should have been studying, but we got way too good on that.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_03]: That's for sure Kyle.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_03]: What are the odds we trade with Millen or Moss?
- 5:31[SPEAKER_03]: The null hypothesis is always probably, and I'm using it the wrong way, but I'll just use it here.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_03]: The null hypothesis is probably always the way to go.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing happens, right?
- 5:38[SPEAKER_03]: So there's like a lot of talk of things, but you hear that a combine all this this and this and then from that out of the talks that happen only 5 to 10% of things occur.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_03]: So I'll put it at, for both of them together combined odds, I'll put it at 20%.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's high, but you're combining both of them there.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_03]: So it's kind of the doubles the odds is I think I'll put it at 20.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I would put it a lot higher than that.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'd put it at like 90% want to be in the strapped.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_03]: Look that folks.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: Clip that.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's no secret.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: Denver has been listening to calls.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: They've been making calls on there.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to see what's out there and move one of them.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a guarantee that it happens, but they're really pushing hard to get one of those corners moved at some point during the draft.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: using it probably to get a couple of extra picks that can enable them to move back up a little bit and get some extra guys with, especially with what George Peyton and Sean Peyton have kind of touched on with the way this class has kind of built up over past since combined basically.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it's not guaranteed, but priority darn close to one of them gets moved at here in the
- 7:00[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: 90% is crazy high for something that hasn't happened yet.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: I know you've been here in things.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_03]: You shared it.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_03]: So my 20% is not doubting you.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's just it feels like there's like so many variables that have to like check beforehand and sometimes it's just people get cold feet.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_03]: We need a little bit more value and it doesn't happen.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_03]: But with jotty bear in here,
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: Cornerbacks of value, it round two and round four.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_03]: Open up a spot, get some capital, maybe you bring in a veteran with that extra capital, maybe you move up and down 20, 27 picks.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm not against it by any means.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_03]: I do worry, I know the vision has been with Baron to be boundary.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_03]: I do worry he is not necessarily the athlete that I want to be a plus boundary cornerback.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_03]: So I always envision him a little bit more slot type, but it seems like if it's anybody, it'll be moss because of all indications publicly, I've been the barren plan is boundary.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_03]: And I mean, he might be worse than moss, but it's not just, you know, worse than moss, it's what you can get back for moss in return at the same time.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_03]: And not having to pay that guy as well, who's a good player, no doubt.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_03]: He's gonna get a decent contract.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: He'll probably get, I mean, 20 plus million on an average period basis, if we need to look at some of the contracts that have been handed out.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, 90% like I get it.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I get why you're going to 20%, there's a lot that gets talked about happening that never does.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Teams back out, board doesn't fall the way.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: In some cases, when it's trading for a veteran player, it's these teams are going to wait to see how the board falls to a certain spot.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they really like a group of corners in like the early third round, and if they get one of them,
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we're not going to trade for a corner now, but if they don't, then maybe they'll pull the trigger on that trade or it's a team specifically looking for a slot corner like McMillan, and there's a lot of slot options in this glass, I think there's far more slot options than there are boundary options, especially when you include like the safety types.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, because I mean, I trading stocks, I think it's just a slot.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really think he's a traditional safety.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, okay, give you that need the angel or the angel of ponds, like there's a lot of slot options in this.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: So if teams again, you know, if you know, is a one guy in the late second early third, even maybe late mid late third get one.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we're no longer going to be trading for one, but if you get what if you.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: Don't get one.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe that pushes them a little bit more towards McMillan.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've been wanting to get up a little bit give up a little bit more.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I understand that 20%.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's just again, there is so much going around about Denver trying to move it.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: who it was.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was one of the ESPN guys, but they basically came out and said like yeah Denver spoken to basically every single team about moving about their corners, whether that's Denver calling them or them getting calls wasn't clear, but they've made a lot of calls or they've had a lot of conversations about the corners just seems a little bit too much smoke for their not to be at least interest in it.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, there's teams that need cornerbacks, the commanders need cornerback, Saints, you know Denver has a relationship with them.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_03]: Cowboys, I think the packers probably could use one lions for sure as well.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: Buck and years, they're an interesting team.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, especially teams that are
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: on the brink with their regimes as well.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see what happens.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: I've been thinking, you know, maybe the value is a leap forth that you're getting back from loss of losses better than that, but when you're talking about the...
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: That's the late 4th, early 4th, late 3rd kind of where I'm thinking, moss is better than that, but you have just such a depreciation of value when there's one year left of the contract.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: So your year, that's why VALA gets a 4th when you have three years for a value position compared to moss, who's significantly better player and if they've hit the market, would get paid more.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_03]: But.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_03]: No, that's just the years of control matter a lot.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: Keith coming in says became a YouTube member.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see a Keith appreciate you.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: Kyle says we got to use bear and like drain a lot as well.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I drain has been good when he's been out there.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_03]: It feels like every chance they've like, people have thrown him some lobs about, you know, like how good drain is.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, oh yeah, he's really good in the role he has.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like the comment, I feel like we get pretty continuously.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's better than a corner back five, but I don't think they view him better than a corner back three.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_03]: The first guy off the bench on the boundary, and he has some limitations, physicality, just because he's the small.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we'll call it as it is, he's the small guy in the impacts tackling and the catch point.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's kind of what we've seen from him like really good ball skills really good ability to make the reads, but he only plays it like 175 pounds so he plays really light and I think that is just kind of why they kind of do as a corner back for type that not really three because that's just that's a nickel.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: So the first guy off the bench on the boundary, which is why he's been, I mean, he was like that last year.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of people are using that to undermine Baron, but they like Baron's in the role that he had.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of that that dime defensive back that they used and they didn't
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: Pastor Tan went down, moving barren to outside in the boundary.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, then you have to replace barren's role and they're just easier to insert even train.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: And he played well, but I think this last year is we really saw the issues with his physicality.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think that's kind of limited him in the Broncos eyes with how much, how much viability there is for him to be a starting
- 13:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, absolutely.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_03]: And like we said, moss is going to get paid.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_03]: Jick on with Millen.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_03]: I see him in a tweet, not some of the stuff on Twitter about, you know, only player to have this many picks, force fumbles, tackles for loss, which, you know, is great.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: Like, don't run, I take away, but very small sample size.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe not necessarily predictive, but both of them are going to get that cash money and deserved and have outplayed their original,
- 13:33[SPEAKER_03]: obtaining slot, Jay Mac are a Jay Mac being undrafted free agent.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: And if they do have a little bit of cash burdened hole in their pocket, they probably should go check out our friends over at Shopify.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, speaking of Shopify, when we first started the MHH Merch Store back in 2019, we weren't sure whether it was the right decision.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, everyone has thoughts like, what if no one buys anything or what if it fails?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's never easy to overcome such uncertainty, but choosing to make the leap and launch at the Merch Store was one of the best decisions MHH has made.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: When we were launching the MHH Merch Store, Shopify helped ease so many of those concerns with its expertise, helpful tools, and easy to use platform.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: We could not have succeeded without Shopify or your guys' support.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_03]: That's right, Shopify is the commerce platform by millions of businesses around the world, and 10% of all e-commerce in the United States from household names such as Mattel and Magic Spoons to brands just getting started in niche brands such as M.H.H.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.G.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: And what if I get stuck, Shopify is always around to share advice and help with their award winning 21st seven customer support.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: So it's time to turn this what I've seen to touching which Shopify today.

- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: Go to Shopify.com slash mile high.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: That is Shopify.com slash mile high.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_03]: God bless you to jinx.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_03]: Began a chitching.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_03]: We got Roy in here.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_03]: It says good morning.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'm doing a polar plunge tomorrow.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be kind of cold the zone rain.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I hear something, I saw it on a TV show, so maybe it's not real, but you like take some of that cold water and like put it on the back of your neck before you go in a few times and it helps your body not be shocked by going in.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: I know that some people, if they go from a really hot to cold, they can have like,
- 15:30[SPEAKER_03]: heart problems from the shock literally shock so make sure you are being smart about it happy you know the warm blanket ready hot drink and everything and to keep that internal temperature protected but yeah it's going to be colder today tomorrow so stay warm be smart be safe I'm sure they get all the right things in place to
- 15:53[SPEAKER_03]: not be liable for anything too, because it is America.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_03]: Todd Austin, Dwarf, but yeah, awesome.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_03]: Roy, I'm good luck.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, we got Todd good morning, everybody.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_03]: He says, if Mike Washington is good on before 60 second pick, I'm hoping for Gal Day.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_03]: Really think he would slowify the depth of the line back a room.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_03]: He certainly in play.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_03]: Dan Brugler had CJ Allen in play there.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_03]: I think Jacob Rodriguez's stock right now is upper mid
- 16:23[SPEAKER_03]: One of the first five picks to the third round, he's definitely in play.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_03]: And Todd also said he'd like stowers to fall as well.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_03]: Impossible because he's not going to be everybody's cup of tea.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's been circulated wide and wide at this point that a handful of teams don't think he's a tight end because he doesn't block for you know what.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: So why use him there when he can be big slot.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, think Allen, Lizard, think, souped up a little Jordan Humphrey.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_03]: trying to manipulate the defense, you might see some, you know, back feel, decrease nap or, you know, in line, but really going to be slaughter, maybe I sew with trips to the other side.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, he's a, he's also in play for sure, is interesting player.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_03]: And obviously, it doesn't have the, uh,
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: the profile of last years.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: Anybody in last year's Titan class?
- 17:18[SPEAKER_03]: I can't think of anybody who really fits stowers recently, Eric.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm trying to think of somebody who's really just so terrible as a blocker that they're going to be absolutely a Titan to be those guys already wide receivers in the lead.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_03]: So, I don't know.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: I can't think of anyone like, I mean, there's been guys that we've worked on about their blocking, but it's never been
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's never been quite sth hours and I would say that sth hours is even the worst blocker at the in the tight end, why do we see for a conversation this year?
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think that goes to Michael Trig.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, he's a lot of secret.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can't think of anybody that like on the level of bad as those two are, but I did find interesting that you know for blocking their unique
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: That was his trick tricks a unique F like weird like some of those highlight catches which do those actually translate Strikes receiving a receiving chops comes from his extra long length and having just a wide ass Cat radius like that's it
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, not really bad of him, but at linebacker, it was interesting what you said about Jacob Rodriguez.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's really something like you can crack the first round.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, be that second linebacker off the board as he's still continuing to move up.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's just being really impressive throughout the process.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: when C.J.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: Allen has really taken a tumble.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's, you know, maybe it's prospect fatigue is a thing.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, over the last two, three weeks, that's really been a lot coming out about his issues in coverage and even issues outside the tackles.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen a and heard a few people actually have like linebacker five or six because of the issues that he's having with it on top of the size that he has.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have the ideal size that you want now,
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be interesting to see how this line back in class plays out because there's a lot of options that are come together that can go any different like is there all unique in with how they are I mean Anthony Hill is different from gold day is different from Alan is different from broader like it's just such an interesting line back across and
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: Denver could definitely be looking at it.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's, you know, maybe a couple of those linebackers are those, some of those six options that that that that Peyton talked about yesterday as who they're kind of eyeball in there at 62.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_03]: Certainly in play, and I get into that.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_03]: I did want to say a little more people.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_03]: Glenn, good morning, good evening.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_03]: One week until I make our first pick.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_03]: I ice hot cold, more in plunge every five days a week.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_03]: So it's good for recovery, mental health, such a great lifestyle hack.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, for me, it's been trying to go to bed earlier.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's been open.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_03]: Shiler mentioned some in-line tight ends.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_03]: And we had just, we needed to pivot to press conference yesterday, but,
- 20:10[SPEAKER_03]: Peyton was asked point blank if they have thoughts or value on Evan Ingram, and if they were going to use this Titan class, which I don't know who asked that question, but I can pretty say with pretty good authority if a player is still on the roster, they're not going to sit there and believe talk them, unless it's Sean Peyton and Russell Wilson, but the other than that, you know, are you going to use it?
- 20:32[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, we're going to definitely use him this year, but Sean Peyton,
- 20:36[SPEAKER_03]: What's the was it called?
- 20:37[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't give a ringing endorsement to this Titan class.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_03]: He said there's a lot of options for the different buckets of Titans, but what he was saying is like, if you want your all around Titan, I don't know if they're necessarily in this class.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_03]: So you have the true Y in line guys, and then you have your hybrid big slot pass catch your types.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_03]: So obviously, Ken, you can do a little bit of both.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_03]: Doesn't have like the,
- 21:04[SPEAKER_03]: the massive profile size, but you can do the inline stuff, not maybe not dominating why, but can all the same.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: But Shiloh mentioned the white items here.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_03]: Rared in, Delph, Casemaric, Borkkutcher.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_03]: You got Notre Dame, Georgia.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_03]: Ohio State Texas A&M there, so yeah, there's definitely some people like Klein in that role as well.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_03]: He's a big, you know what, six, six, two, sixty or something.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_03]: So there's definitely some wise, and it'll be interesting to see which direction Denver goes with that position.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_03]: They end based on Sean Payton's answer when George Payton said they're definitely, they're considering everything, but they're definitely considering Tynend at some point.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, this isn't the 20, you know, the 20, 25 classified, but there's still some options.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, with what he was kind of getting at with the tight ends and how the room is and different buckets and not really all around guys.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: I do kind of agree with that.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a lot of guys that can offer enough to be kind of all around, but not, you know, not great all around players.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like where did I think he can he I think he has a chance to be one of those guys that's really good if he can develop, especially as a blocker in mind.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: Down Bentley, he's another one who possibly can or Joe Royer, these are some of the guys that have that frame the right there more receivers right now that have to really add up in the blocking us your dump is one of depending on the medicals.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: But you got it's just not great.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's all these guys just have a lot of questions with Sam Rausch.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's probably the closest one you have to it, but even he has questions like I know I've talked before about link from the Titan position as blockers hasn't really been an indicator of success or not blocking at the NFL level.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: But it's still concerned and it is a limited catch radius that he's playing with as a result of it and he has a lot of drops and is in his past so how much of an impact can he really have as a receiver transition to the end of the game so he even he has questions there's not there isn't a tight in this class that really screams yeah I'm a all around guy it's
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of good blockers in this class in the tight end room, but I think that this is this class is definitely carried by those guys that are going to be played out in the slot and being those big receivers more than anything.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_03]: And J.R. Whitehead comes in as this thing.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_03]: There's a tight end.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: Jinks in Denver haven't had a dominant position.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_03]: Jack hasn't worked since Thomas.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: This is another thing where.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_03]: disparaging your comment here, white head.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: But I think it's when you take a step back and look at the league at large, there's just not a lot of needle movers at tight end in general.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_03]: So like maybe there's, you know, maybe dimbers slightly off the pace here with some other tight ends, but really there's only ever in a given year, three to six, maybe, who are those needle movers types?
- 24:14[SPEAKER_03]: And then when you compare to that, you have, you know,
- 24:17[SPEAKER_03]: 10 to 15 running backs and 15 to 25 white receivers.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just there's not as many available or a difference because it feels like it's the same conversation as.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_03]: linebacker, and everybody's linebackers aren't doing enough well, how many linebackers are actually doing much in the league in general right now, you know, as it's a position, the entire Shayna hand freaking offense is about trying to take advantage of linebackers in space.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, they're going to look bad because they're the weakest cover players on the field in a passing league.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_03]: So, tight end, just not a lot of different makers out there.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_03]: And when you look at the,
- 24:56[SPEAKER_03]: Like, again, not a perfect stat by any means, especially for an individual, but when you look at like total EPA accumulated, your tight end three total EPA accumulated is like a equivalent to wide receiver 20, they're just not they're not getting the volume, the the important targets the explosive plays doesn't make them not valuable, it's their blockers, but if they're not blockers, what the hell are you doing, but that's something to consider for sure.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things with both tight end to mineback or two is it was talking with the guy like a year ago about this and he's he was talking about how why it's a little bit difficult to get this kind of guys in the NFL because to be a lineback or tight end you kind of have to be pigeonholed into it because of your size right like if you're a good enough receiver you're going to be put outside as a receiver if you're a good enough blocker you're probably going to be asked to bulk up and play offensive line.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: So you kind of got to be fit this size aspect of tight end.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it's linebackers the same way.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: You got to drop down and be an edge, or you're going to lose weight and drop back and be a safety.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's a very unique body type in a way that you're looking for in terms of height, build, and lengths that if you don't match that, well, you're probably did play in a different position.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's just difficult because the college game is really undervaluing the tight ends of my back, which is obviously domino effect, hurting the transition to the NFL and hurting the amount of impact players you have coming into the NFL.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: Those are really the least two valued positions in college football outside of a few schools, but really undervalued positions right now and just turning the ability to find them at the NFL level.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_03]: And I was asking what your favorite tight-ends for us.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_03]: It all comes down to medicals for these two, but just the blocking and sizeability for delpin rared in, especially with the testing of rared in, which is a little surprising for how big he is.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_03]: We also like Borkerker, and I'll gosh, there's one.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_03]: I know he has horrible length, but Roush being as heavy as he is with the athleticism is interesting, we're talking, you know.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_03]: mid rounds round three through round four with some of those guy round five.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_03]: So they're all interesting for sure.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: But moving forward, Eric, I've had a lot of stuff yesterday from Sean Payton, George Payton, a shout out to Sean Payton, a grandpa.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: Now, so a lot of people will congratulate him on that.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_03]: He, I guess he hasn't gotten any softer.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_03]: And also, I want to shout out to George Payton, maybe get a lost hinge.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_03]: or something, whatever cold you got going on right now as just to take care of yourself.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of the conference was George Peyton Clearness Throat.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_03]: Paul Sean was talking.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_03]: But we've been there.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure you get maybe he needs to get a a mic like we have with the other mute on it and fail to hit it in time when you are coughing or whatever in the mic.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_03]: But overall, there I go with the Clearness Throat right there, perfect.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_03]: Overall,
- 27:57[SPEAKER_03]: It was good.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_03]: I think the relationships sounded good between them.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_03]: This is the last draft prep in the facility they're in right now.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to be hopping over to the other side.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_03]: And a number of questions there, Eric, they let off with asking about you have strength on the team mainly defensive back, would you consider?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_03]: using maybe some of that strength to leverage getting another capital and going different directions.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_03]: And they kind of gave a, you know, we like our strengths.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_03]: It's good to have strengths, we're taking the best player.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_03]: But you do consider it at the end of the day, you know, because you're trying to make the best team possible.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_03]: Was the short answer that we got from George in that on that side of things.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_03]: So again, we talked about earlier.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody asked about one of those cornerbacks being traded.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's, that's where that question was derived from.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's the stereotypical general manager answer, like the head coach answered.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like what we have, but obviously you have to evaluate all avenues of improving the team kind of.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, it's not surprising.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's been the way Sean Paine and George Paine have done things.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's always been, oh, we like what we have.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: And even though, you know, there moves Mesa, otherwise, like quite a receiver.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, they don't want to sit there and say, oh, yeah, we're definitely looking at moving on those guys because that doesn't sound the best message to the guys that you have.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't move one of them, it's like, oh, well, they really want me like, and it kind of affect a place, especially at a position of very quiet so much confidence in your play like corner is it can have a detriment to it.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: So you got to throw that support behind it, and you also don't want to sit there and say, oh, yeah, we're looking at those guys and then have teams coming in with a lot less with their offers because, oh, they really want to move one of those guys.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you got to say, you got to say you want to keep them because you got to help boost those offers a little bit to get them to get one of them go.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_03]: Keep moving on to that.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: So, Erica, there's anything I miss here.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just kind of go off of the things that interested me in and off the top of my head after listening to it a couple of times.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of conversation about the team.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_03]: Only having one pick on the top 100, waiting until pick 64, 62, to have a chance to really make a move and the thought was that obviously the farther you get down there, the far, the more variability to what options you have.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Peyton used the numbers.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_03]: If you're picking at pick 17, maybe you'd only have three guys, but down at 62, they have six.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_03]: They're talking about it, and then Sean Peyton talked about having the pick down it.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_03]: early fourth round, that's even a wider net because there's so many different options.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_03]: You got to be a little bit more open and versatile with that and they've had success in the day two for the most part, especially when you look at, like when you look at the players and themselves, just for damners, okay, those are good, but then you look at the entire rounds for those seasons and it's like, oh, they took one of the best.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_03]: probably 10 players available there and maybe not the best one at the time, but at least they got, you know, they weren't taking McTelvin James that this team, or the goddess hurt me say this one, but like Michael Oge Moodias, all right, like they're getting a little bit of ROI for the most part, the only one that's really been a
- 31:07[SPEAKER_03]: I think we can say right now is a miss as Ben Drew Sanders, but still that's a for the top one hundred decks with four.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, man, for George Bay and John Payton, yes.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: If you're talking about George Payton, great.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: Don't such would be in that as well, but that was before Trump hit was here.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_03]: I was just thinking the four the three drafts.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: Of the this duo.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I mean, they don't well.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you have, you know, you got, what?
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: Riley Moss, they turned it up to get who's been good.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: Do you send us officers, Ms. Marvin Mims?
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of like who else was there?
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: Do you send us Moss?
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: Ellis.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: Huh?
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: Ellis.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: Ellis, yeah, that's right.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and the day to address yours is just an absolute freaking nightmare when you look at Berkeley.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, yeah.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: So they have done well and it's, you know, that is something you can look at because.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of those trends that you look at like, you know, I've been finding a lot of guys consistently in the later rounds.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you kind of look at the scout that they're kind of listening to you and how much you trust it at this in second round.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's they're doing their due diligence or doing their work.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: And really find those guys that can make that impact and when you're having as much access for it as you as they have, it's a good sign.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: So it's it's a good.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: stands to trust their ability to find somebody and that range.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: And even last year, we, I know, we've had a little bit more issues with RJ Harvey as a runner, but you know, he still picked up seven touchdown or 12 touchdown seven as a runner.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's feeding them right in the permit helps a lot.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: The receiving killer.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: The receiving really helps a lot, but you know, it's still too early to say that he is, he's, you know, he's a bust and then, you know, Pat Brian as well when he finally got around to be in on the field.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: He was having his impact felt.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_01]: So that's a positive sign there.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: One thing that I will say that I was also helping them out is you only have had what four.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: They two picks outside of last year.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's how it was.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: And it's your last year for the most part.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: So it's still a bit rough but unknown and even Jonah Ellis, it may be it's a little bit too early for him as well early returns have been really good, but you know what the position change coming it's not but it's still you know it's something that you can hang your head on that they've done well finding guys who can come in and contribute even as rookies since you know the George Peyton the Peyton and Peyton company have taken over.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_03]: See where some conversations about the slot position in here, we don't have to get on the podium for this one Eric or the soap box, but set it on here a lot on these shows.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_03]: God, where is it?
- 34:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Todd mentions Brandon Stokeler, West Walker, and out on the team.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_03]: Those guys aren't in the league right now.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_03]: You look, I mean, to find me the small, slow, chain mover right now that's not stretching defenses vertically somewhat or offering some size and blocking from the slot.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_03]: Game has changed.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_03]: This, the slot position has evolved as much as anything being used on the field over the last seven years, Eric, in my opinion, on the offensive
- 34:39[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, those guys, you can't even get Hunter Remphro on the field anymore, like that kind of guy.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_03]: So, I mean, you're looking for, if you're looking for ranistokler or West Walker, you're looking 15 years too late.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't think that teams are valuing those guys anymore, because you're trying to either create explosive plays in space.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_03]: Or you're trying to
- 35:04[SPEAKER_03]: punished teams with the wider smaller slots and have a tight end that effectively blurs or a wider receiver that effectively blurs the line from tight end and wide receiver because they can be a plus in the blocking game and the screen game as a blocker.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to know people kind of want those guys that's just that's kind of a dinosaur with where the league is at right now.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: Not only that, but I absolutely hate, you know, the term positionless football, but wider receiver, you know, you still have your arc types, your XYZs, but there's so interchangeable anymore where you, you know, you're playing your X in the slot because that can get you a bit of matchup, you're playing your slot guy on the boundary, you're playing your Y all over the place.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: They play all over the place.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_03]: You want to play your wife too much on the boundary if you're drunk.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe everyone's on the boundary.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like, a tight one.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: What is the exe in whatever your slot was?
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, yeah, yeah.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and like, even nowadays, like talking about the light head endos, there are some teams that are putting them out there on the boundary ever now.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: And like, we're just moving those guys around any more so frequently and not so much, you know, why on the outside.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_03]: Still, it is, it's trying to iso matchups.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, yeah, it's, it's, it's like, basketball.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's also, yeah, you're, you're trying to put up the alignment that gives you the most favorable matchup.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: You do the week of film of trying to find where, you know, your most favorable matchup is and try to exploit that the most, whether that's Sutton in the slot, water in the slot, water outside, mims outside, whatever it is, you're finding that matchup and you're looking to exploit it, no matter where your receiver has to line up at.
- 36:42[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yep, Albert comes in and says, do you think the tower's might be a good fit for Denver?
- 36:47[SPEAKER_03]: He has been not in a way that is replacing trauma or even have an ingram.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_03]: I think you're talking somewhere between the hybridization usage of Evan and Grimm and Lil Jordan Humphrey.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_03]: So like him in that way, good athlete has had production, not, you know, like the Titans last season.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_03]: But he isn't somebody that I think is going to come in
- 37:10[SPEAKER_03]: You know, influence defensive personnel.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_03]: So much.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_03]: So again, fix 62 for the athlete that he is in wanting to add more weapons.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm I'm I'm fine with that.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: I just think we need to be understanding of what he actually is as a player.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_03]: And again, there's a reason that like half the teams in the league say this is a wide receiver, not a tight end.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I mean, he does bring solid versatility to it, because he can line up in multiple spots.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: But it's funny that you mentioned the athleticism, because one of the things that George Peyton talked about when picking at 62 was really looking for the traits.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Stowers has those athletic traits that you look for.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: And he can impact the game.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: He can give you a little bit of that backfield, kind of use him, and not necessarily as the blocker in the adkins is out of the backfield, but in the situations where adkins runs out out of the backfield, Stowers can do that, try to get a little get a favorable matchup against the lineback because there's not many linebackers in the NFL that can really hang with him with that type of athlete he is, or trying to isolate him outside against the safety or linebacker.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: in the slot.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: So there's still a way to use them.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not at the biggest fan of him because of the lack of blocking, but I understand why a lot of people are infatuated with him because of what he can bring as a receiver both as a rookie.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's enough to where he can really have, honestly, a major impact not like, you know, not like rookie blockbours or anything like that, not that kind of impact, but probably get you.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: no a fan level impact in terms of receiving ability as a rookie and then, you know, his role down the road will be fully replacing what Evan Ingraham is doing for this offense.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: And probably rotating out on rundowns where you're not utilizing one of the blocker, unless out of nowhere he takes a drastic step forward as a blocker.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: So he's not at any point, but he's not young.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_03]: He's not young
- 39:06[SPEAKER_03]: By the way, I don't know what that will happen.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it could.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to say it won't.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_03]: Just like I wouldn't have a draw still.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_03]: That sounds like that conversation.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, you know, maybe could be one in a million.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_03]: Try to do a super old champion drew luck.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_03]: We're living out in Seattle.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: God bless him.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_03]: I jealous of that.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_03]: Um, other aspects of your Eric and Dylan, you can hit us on the chat if I'm forgetting anything to.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_03]: They talked about Jonah Ellis, um, and really Sean Peyton leaned on that one, um, does it influence the draft so much for them?
- 39:37[SPEAKER_03]: No, because we're there picking and like you want to bring in good players regardless.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_03]: So, based on that conversation, edge, edge could still happen in the draft, probably more day three, but you never know, but really it was just a compliment to Jonah Ellis's football intelligence, um, and also Sean Peyton, I think it was Sean, I could have been George,
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: You have a lot of edge rushers that are moving to linebacker and safety, that are moving to linebacker in the league.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_03]: So given where linebackers that, you know, the sim pressure world, some of the blitzing guys, I think it was more so just trying to figure out different ways to get Ellis on the field.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_03]: You smart, maybe he can take that role that Drew Sanders, obviously an archetype that they valued and wanted, a little bit more blitz, centric mug type of backer in some looks, didn't work out for Sanders.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_03]: moving else around our health potentially being in the linebacker doesn't keep them from drafting linebacker.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: But I do think maybe the odds slightly raised for taking an eddressure, even though they like the room.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think, you know, eddressure corner those that are, when you have Sean Pade and George Pade and those are always up there for possibility picks because it's just how much they value.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: Those positions, excuse me.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_01]: But one thing with moving Jonah Ellis that I do wonder is how this impacts what type of I'm back or they're looking for.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because from the sounds of things, it sounds like he's going to kind of play a hybrid role this year, you know, a little bit off the edge, you know, in obvious rundowns, passing situations as a blitzer, things like that, he'll move to off ball, not really use him and coverage a lot, but use him as a downhill player.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if that would push them more towards another cover linebacker for added depth and kind of look at Jonah Ellis as being that guy to possibly, if he can make that transition be their Alex Singleton downhill side line to side line replacement player, which is what Jonah Ellis has done well and at the edge position and one thing is another thing on that is a lot of teams viewed him as that kind of linebacker coming out of college.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's what I'm curious about, if it changes what they're looking at in the line at the line back the position, which maybe that means, you know, just I a trotter or CJL and may not be as high up there for them if that is the case.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: And we do want to run a mock before we get out of here a quick one.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_03]: I know because we only got so many chances left.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_03]: The last thing that he talked about that I thought was interesting was, again, you mentioned, Peyton says good question.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you want to put your ears up because he's going to add a little bit more detail and he enjoys talking about it more, but specifically talking about swing ability for offensive linemen and my take away he had a lot to say about and especially like the further you get down the draft you don't address eight if you can take somebody who's got a little bit more.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_03]: across the line ability they're going to be more valued because there's more avenues to the field and stuff we talked about on here.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_03]: So thinking about that, I mean, it's early as 62 for the Broncos if there are guys who can play multiple spots on the offensive line.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_03]: But I do think the way he talked about it, there is a little bit of delineation for guys who are actually good tackle prospects at the end of the day like that's he's like, you know, if you can play inside
- 42:57[SPEAKER_03]: Not an audience, that's the wrong way to put it, but implied that if you are tackling playing side some, that's great, but like you're still looking for the two tackles out there.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's kind of how it is, like you want that versatility, especially for your depth, but if you're finding it, if you think of the guy's a starter or has started potential, then if you only can play one position on the offensive line,
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: Then great.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to look at it for that one position.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_01]: But depth pieces, I'd say that you have to have that versatility.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: If you are a, if you're a guy that you're not viewed as a long term starter, you got to be able to play multiple positions to help that help out the depth if you.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's kind of where it is.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's something that I've kind of talked about before on shows multiple times.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: like in with Sean Payton, particularly, you know, he likes that left side back up the right side back up the first time inside Guy who can play the three spots, which for depth, again, that's what you want, but I mean, it's like if there was a, that's it here, I kind of think of a, a, oh, me and the name, excuse me now, Joe Alt type tackle in this class,
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: That maybe it's like, all right, we think that he is just a tackle, but he can be a long term 10 plus year starter for as a tackle, we're fine taking that this year and, you know, having them just be that backup, you know, left tackle or back up right tackle and then, you know, or even swing tackle and then looking at that starter, but so it's there is a difference there between what we're talking about starting caliber and depth guys, yeah no doubt.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_03]: Last thing he mentioned, six players, Eric, on the board right now, I don't know if you know, they're not given away any trade secrets or anything, but do you have anybody that you'd expect to be on that list right now?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_03]: And he mentioned the range.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was 45 to 75 area.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_03]: So six players out of that range, on granted boards very drastically, 10 to 10.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_03]: So where are they pulling that 45 to 75 from?
- 45:02[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe even in the consensus big board, I don't know.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think Eli Stowers isn't it.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think the fact that they, I know I, you know, we've talked about meetings and how little they mean, but with Stowers, it's every step of the process they've met with him at the pro-day they spent time meeting with him.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: Combine, I dated a Zoom interview.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: They did, you know, they brought him in for his visit.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: Every step of the way they've done something with him.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think that is too much too ignore or shrug off.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: Jacob Rodriguez I think is probably up there.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't be surprised if there's another Lionbacker or two Max Claire very well can be on it.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't be surprised if there's a defensive back and a offensive lineman Outside of manual pride now, maybe it's killing a kill and rattleage.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's shedding stunker.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that they have a another like two offensive linemen It's tough only six two offensive linemen
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: the line behind back door, trying to enter to defense a bag like I think they have a why I think they of the six players that say there's probably four different positions that they play.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, um, Christian Miller, RC going to be gone.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_03]: He's somebody that's kind of been, you know, tossed out there and for Denver's, you know, potentially those and two into your defensive why I'm in keeping it strong.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's a, that's one also who I've come back and forth on, unless you think he's going to be long gone.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: He fits, it's tough because the view on him is so different.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: There's, I've seen a lot of people saying that like, oh, he's probably top 25 pic.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: And there's people was like, I don't think he goes top 50.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: So it really just depends on, you know, what intelligence the brokers are getting and going off of as they're building their board.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: So he really could be one.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I just don't see it.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: see him being realistically there for them.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, really interesting for the Broncos on that front.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_03]: He's interesting.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_03]: You mentioned Chase Pissantes also another offensive lineman, maybe I don't know if he's necessarily the power player that you're probably gone in the top 40.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: You think he's gone on top 40?
- 47:27[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, he's one that I think it's consensus big board is
- 47:31[SPEAKER_03]: he's considered.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_03]: So, we'll see what happens there with those guys, Todd asked why do they cancel the case he can set Sean visit because they got rid of pick 30.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_03]: So, they brought in water and they got rid of pick 30 if they still pick 30, he's definitely somebody they're considering there, but
- 47:49[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they think he will be available and nor would they be willing to move for him.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_03]: The one way to see for who's really interesting to me, Eric, is Chris Bell because he's obviously massive and really just an incredible after you're at Zephyr catch player, but he had that injury.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_03]: So somebody who's probably would have gone top 25, Denver's in a win now mode.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_03]: but you also want to be set up to win consistently.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_03]: Here are the next five years, and he's somebody who, if you've felt a 62, depending on his medical, he's intriguing to me at least because the positional value and the traits that he has.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: I definitely agree.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's something that I've talked about a lot, especially when you factor in, you know, the contract situation with Portland Sutton, they gave them that extension, but doesn't really sound like they really wanted to give them that extension.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then you have Jalen Wattel who is cheap for this year, but then, you know, things change next year and with it where Denver's at financially, especially, especially now that ownership has spent some money to buy 40% of the Rockies,
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: that kind of impacts a little bit of what they can put into the Broncos for the next few years, as well as the stadium, as well as preparing for, you know, a couple of big extensions like the bonex extension.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, got to work around it and factor those things in and
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: You know, being able to reset that contract with somebody who may not have the biggest impact this year as a rookie because of the injury, but you can sit there and work in developing for 27 when you really can look at getting out from one of those getting out from that sudden contract and kind of resetting in the money, I think it's I think it's a at least a conversation that they have had.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_03]: Man, just taking the best part at the end of the day is the move.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, do you have any thoughts about the cornerbacks available?
- 50:05[SPEAKER_03]: And I know we got around in the time, but maybe we force a trade and send Moss off somewhere here to get more picks just to change things off.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_03]: So take a trade Moss, you tell me what team for what pick, and then we take one of these cornerbacks.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: Or not.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: We just go to Monday, Moss, the near jets for with one of the seventh for a fourth and a fifth.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, where am I with stuff hurts me, hurts me to do this.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_03]: I want Mr. Eleventh screw and we're getting from the jets.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_01]: I want to play in 140, but it's probably going to end up having to be one of three and
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: How does it feel?
- 50:52[SPEAKER_03]: Wow, they really want those future picks.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: And then I think I think you go Chris Johnson here, just because it would not surprise me at all if he is a third corner back draft that somewhere in the first round, but he's here on this.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_01]: He is so,
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: Technically refined and he the biggest questions that he had were some athletic questions and he's kind of put those the bed.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we did that there.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_03]: We're sitting here.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_03]: 103.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_03]: We got four picks.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe we need a package.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_03]: Something there.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_03]: We got orange, Halsey, Asantis, Rutledge.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my God.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: Well, this is.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_03]: This is a great one.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: What are your settings on this?
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: Other random I just turn up the randomness because I like the randomness because I want it to be I really hate it when it's the same players offered every single time Do we should we go Rutledge or should we go I'll be already went defense of backs.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_03]: I think people might kill us if we did too Yeah, I think we go Rutledge here.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's another one who I think is probably Nicole wins the prize.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_01]: We had all three cracks that late first round Okay, we're sitting here.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_03]: We can go orange or rouse stand out to me your colon
- 52:13[SPEAKER_03]: Where do you think I am?
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think let's go route and then call them in at the next one.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I think in reality, if you make that trade, Denver is probably packaging something to go up in the third round, but with how fast things are going.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_03]: William, we got to your question I thought about the, oh, sorry.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_03]: London Collin, I news on Joco any of the free agents, much love, Go Broncos, good morning, good evening.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_03]: If you're in London, William, the defense of the free agents were talking about here, probably the veteran defensive tackle types.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_03]: So your talk is still talking, maybe call us Campbell.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe there's another guy out there as well, and then the cam Jordan, who's, you know, four eye, three, seven at this point.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_03]: Just throwing out numbers, hopefully you guys understood what I was talking about.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_03]: But that's probably that veteran defensive tackle.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're on the board here.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_03]: Again, you can go ahead if you want, Eric, um, Mark L. Bell.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's all my aim here.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_03]: Um, Mark L. Bell.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_03]: I know Denver's been invited to visit him.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_03]: He makes me laugh because he's so huge and his hands are smaller than mine.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and I also, I'm a big fan of CJ Daniels.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_03]: We haven't gone wide or see where yet.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_03]: I think wide or see before type of thing is a good route, right?
- 53:27[SPEAKER_03]: I got good size.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm higher than him than the ESPN board, both Stevens.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_03]: We already took Rutledge, price boochers, interesting.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_03]: Trasin can do all the positions on the team, JC Davis adds some more versatility and depth from the offensive line.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_03]: There's Borkerker, Eli Raerdin.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_03]: We already took Rausch, kind of changes things when you get those extra picks.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think in?
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I think linebacker.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_01]: I really like Bryce Betcher here.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: Um, over the until I said, I am very, and that very low on loss and there's been a. Ben some self coming about him and I would like to see a football IQ test on between him and Drew Sanders and I am not sure who would score higher.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_03]: Well, okay, gosh, we've had a pretty good run here so far.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_03]: Chris Johnson, Rhett Lynch, Roush Coleman, Borkutcher, could go any direction at this point if we want.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_03]: Eric McAllister, the background issues.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_03]: We did take a running back, doesn't mean you can't take another one.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_03]: Zoon can play all the interior positions in my opinion.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_03]: Um, smart player, rared in, doesn't keep me doing anything k-part, big athlete, developmental.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_03]: We got reges as well.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_03]: I know that they have the other Texas A&M guy in the seventh round air.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so that's yeah.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: I know and he's probably wouldn't be surprised if he goes like top 100.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_03]: I think there's a relationship with Nolan Ruchy and this Broncos team somewhere.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_03]: There's some sort of coach family, something going on there with them.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_01]: His dad.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: Have we taken a wide receiver yet?
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: We have not.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_03]: Is Eric McAllister's stuff.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: There.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I, if we go, I see where I wouldn't do McAllister.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like he's obviously all the takes one team.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like he's going to go and draft it with the character stuff there.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's too small.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, small guy.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: Could do Joe Royer.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's the tight end, but he's one of those big receivers.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_03]: I would take rared in before him.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was just trying to throw out a different name.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_03]: Marlin Klein also interesting.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_03]: All those extra picks.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_03]: What about Cape Heart?
- 55:51[SPEAKER_03]: You talked about traits, big guy.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_03]: He's massive, tested really well.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_03]: Good length.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody at Clemson sucks this year.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm willing to give him a little bit of pass.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_03]: Unless you're way against it.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm way against it.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's fine.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a K-PAR fan, but if we're going to go defensive linemen, I'd say go over to defensive wind and grab pattern on the atom and just go that route.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_03]: What about our linebacker from TCU?
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm sorry.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's a developmental piece like has I think he's got some legitimate starting potential.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_03]: Special teams too.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's something else that Sean Payton talked about.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to go Caleb Alonzoor?
- 56:35[SPEAKER_01]: We can go Caleb Alonzoor?
- 56:37[SPEAKER_03]: Because right now, the depth of the linebacker spot is Lord only freaking knows.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_03]: Um, right, undrafted for agents, Jonah Ellis, question mark.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_03]: You take two.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the can't even think of the names of the, you're losing read.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_03]: God bless him.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_03]: There's whatever.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go normally.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, free Catholic.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just do it.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_03]: I'm with you.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_03]: Different mock.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_03]: We got one more comment because we kept that one.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, there's Delp way down here.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_03]: Here, Perkins way down here.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_03]: We're already took too many linebackers.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go, Legion.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_03]: Special teams, Eric.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_03]: Return to value.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_03]: Do any picks, I think.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_03]: Given how fast we had to go through this, you are probably if you are trading, moss and getting that capital, you are trading back up as well.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and probably packaging a couple of those fourth round picks to get back up into the third ground for somebody.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, well, we got trade in there.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_03]: All A's pretty much across the board.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_03]: On that kind of fun to trade,
- 57:42[SPEAKER_03]: Moss, a little different view on that.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_03]: So hey, you guys let us know.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, gosh, it's getting Rutledge in the fourth round is probably not happening.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_03]: That's probably the most unreal, I can't believe it, and give us an A plus on that one.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_03]: I think Coleman and Burtcher round four is possible.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_03]: And I kind of like our day three strategy of doubling up on some of these spots when you do that.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's kind of like the equivalent of taking a guy.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_03]: It's 50 picks earlier for your odds of hitting for some of that.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_03]: So, not the worst strategy in the world.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_03]: So, there you go, folks.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_03]: Let us know.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, we took a corner back at the first pick there, but at the same time, we traded moss, and we reset the contract.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_03]: We're just probably really freaking important when you're gonna be paying certain what you're paying.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you need to have certain paid a lot.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_03]: cost-controlled everywhere else in cornerback.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: If your chance probably have been looking at, touching his contract after this season, if not after 2020, the 2020 season.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's coming up.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, heck, I might even be this offseason.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_03]: Who knows?
- 58:47[SPEAKER_03]: I'm saying there's been at least some like, hey, maybe you want to come back to this.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this offseason because I think this is the first year.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's actually on that extension.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_03]: So doesn't mean he can't get some money right now.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it doesn't mean that they can't do something with it, but it's common.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like with what he see with how these corners are getting paid, it's common.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Eric, for his yours.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so if you guys haven't done so yet, make sure you guys go over to youtube.com slash mile high hurdle and become a member there.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_01]: The reason why this is important right now is that finally got around talking to Chad and trickle down theories is coming back in the first show will be tomorrow at noon.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and it will be for members only on YouTube.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_01]: It is not your typical show.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's um, I will, you know, obviously I'll be interacting with the chat, but it won't be as much as we do on these shows.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and it's not going to be a, it's not going to be as long as I'm going to be about half hour at most, but it is.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_01]: I will be doing cramming them in right before the draft.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a lot of draft talking.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be breaking down prospects and going to be going over some of my scouting reports specifically between, I'll be doing one, tomorrow at noon, Sunday at noon, Wednesday at noon, and Thursday the day of the draft at noon as well.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then it'll probably be, you know, after that, we'll figure out but it's probably going to be Saturday's consistently going forward except for the Saturday of the draft.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_01]: So now is a time to go doing that as well as we have we do have pinned down what we're doing for the draft shows.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_01]: We will be live all three days and we will also we have somewhat pinned down the roundtable mouth draft.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: So stay tuned for more on that as well.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_03]: Just wanted to get to Mark's question here.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_03]: He's a good point about these guys all making the team.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_03]: I think if we were like slowing it down, after that trade, we'd have been trading up probably somewhere in here or trading one of these picks for 2027.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_03]: But really, I think that there's an obvious path for every single one of these guys until you get to the day seven with the wide receivers.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_03]: And at that point, they're all obviously on the roster until cutdowns and depending on how cold well and we shouldn't play,
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_03]: mean, you're talking about potentially the, uh, divine valet special, which we saw last season.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_03]: Looking at mims at this point with this contract.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, like him a lot, but you brought him water.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_03]: It sounded like the contract.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_03]: Stuff is not moving forward now after the water trade, uh, same reason we're talking about moss, same class, and then also with coldball coming in, I mean, big player, Bryant safe, but Franklin
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_03]: if you are so talented that you can't roster him in somebody else picks him up.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_03]: case or us or a I guess kind of that point like seven or a big doesn't happen all that often people have on I got these players I can not to not too often that you see teams what does it every year somebody gets picked up the practice Signed somebody else instead of the practice squad it's typically like what five Maybe it's not it's not a lot.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but to that point again somebody said it's academic Whereas testing out see what it looks like we've got of defensive back corner back trade talks for the Broncos boards said take corner back there so wanted to force that
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_03]: But I would imagine that you're talking about trading up to those fourth round picks to get back, you know, pick 75 somewhere up there.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_03]: Just the packaging those are one of the fourth and fifths to move up to 80, you know, something like that.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because then as you can't touch on as all these guys have an avenue on it when you look at the contract situation that they have Who's there back up left side guy maybe you know this now makes him more expendable and they do they did adjust his contract that makes it easier to move on from him At running back with Jonah Coleman neither Tyler Bade or Julia McLaughlin have contracts that keep you from getting it adding somebody say was Sam Rausch at tight end with Lucas Crowle and they atkins like they don't keep you from adding anybody to it
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_01]: linebacker, perina read, level Bailey and what Jordan Turner.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_01]: Now, to those guys, we'll keep those players from getting it in practice quest players.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're practice squad level players.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_01]: And as you said, it comes down to those day three picks.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: Legion called Well, Alarm Zor.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: Um, particularly, and, you know, alarms or again, but the linebackers doesn't keep them, especially if you can offer a little bit more special teams value in a little bit more upside, called, well, these are developmental fees.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_01]: Probably is probably poised for the practice quite at least for a year or two.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, you have, I will shut up and we'll get to this.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Shannon Mills.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, guys, looks like I'm just the most of the show, but just wanted to say good morning, been Neil with COVID all like, ah, Jesus, that's like one of my coworkers has it,
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's the hot take here.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_03]: It sucks, man.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm really excited for the draft.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_03]: Well, hopefully you're taking it easy.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_03]: My issue and I have like an upper respiratory thing as I get.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_03]: sore throats that it feels like I'm swallowing like shards of glass.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_03]: Some people get other stuff, but I'm the worst sore throat I ever had was with COVID and it was in Seattle in an on air condition house in the summer when it was like 90 degrees out and like 85 in the house and I had a fever like 102.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_03]: So that's stunk.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully you're somewhere where you're being taken care
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if you're following me on Twitter or whatever, but there's like these super duper cough drops, some of my co-workers in Seattle want to work their bottom name on a head COVID.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_03]: And it was one of the most amazing like cough drops ever.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like it numbed me completely.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was called Cepricol.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_03]: I think I don't think it's a, don't only give to have a prescription, but like the Cepricol sort throat cough drops.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_03]: I swear by those, sponsored the show.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_03]: I ringing endorsement for those guys, if you can send out, you know, kid has been friend to see if you can find those.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, thank you for the super chat and feel better by the draft.
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, hope we get to feeling better.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_01]: We're really excited for the draft as well and hope you are feeling better by the draft.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it would absolutely suck to have to go through the draft a little sick.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, it sucks to go to the sick at any point, but I hope you get to feeling better Shannon and thank you so much for the super chat.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Sepicol with like a line over the E extra strength sore throat.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_03]: lemon honey lemon.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, that thing.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_03]: Incredible.

- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_03]: this helped me so much.
