Jones to Thunder? Nuggets’ Deadline Decision | Oklahoma City Thunder News
The Oklahoma City Thunder just locked in Spencer Jones on a two-year, $12M deal — and now Denver has until Sunday night to decide if they’ll match. If they don’t, Jones fills Lu Dort’s vacated roster spot, helping OKC stay under the luxury tax and second cap apron while adding size and shooting. Jones averaged 5.5 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and shot 40% from three last season — and with the Nuggets potentially needing to move Zeke Nnaji’s contract, this could be a make-or-break moment for Denver’s roster future.
