- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven to ten wo R.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Filling in for Mark. Here's Ken Rosatto. That's nice to
- 0:08Speaker 2: be with you. The day before Thanksgiving, Mark and Joe
- 0:11Speaker 2: and Ice Long Weekend. Former New York City TV news
- 0:13Speaker 2: Sacred Ken Rosado in the seat. I feel very privileged
- 0:17Speaker 2: to be in this seat. I always feel like when
- 0:18Speaker 2: I get up from the seat, I kind of brush
- 0:20Speaker 2: it off from Mark to make sure it's back to
- 0:21Speaker 2: the way it was. For those who may or may
- 0:24Speaker 2: not remember, I'll remind you I was at Channel seven
- 0:28Speaker 2: here in New York doing the morning and noon show
- 0:30Speaker 2: there for about twenty years. Great time there, and then
- 0:33Speaker 2: prior to that, I was a Channel five. A lot
- 0:35Speaker 2: of people don't remember. I did Good Day Wake Up
- 0:38Speaker 2: for about a year and before I went to seven.
- 0:41Speaker 2: But it was also a lot of fun. I still
- 0:43Speaker 2: have friends there and these days I work at a
- 0:46Speaker 2: New Jersey based TV news channel. It's called on New
- 0:49Speaker 2: Jersey and you could stream it live or watch reruns
- 0:53Speaker 2: that we do at ONNJ dot COMNNJ dot com little
- 0:58Speaker 2: shameless plug for my check and it's a good time
- 1:02Speaker 2: there too. I run a food website too for you
- 1:04Speaker 2: foodies called the Food Dude. You can check it out
- 1:07Speaker 2: at the food Dude dot Us. The food Dude dot Us.
- 1:11Speaker 2: A lot to talk about today. I'm sure you've heard
- 1:14Speaker 2: about the US District Judge Cameron McCowan Curry. That's the
- 1:19Speaker 2: radical leftist activist Biden appointee. Does that sound negative on
- 1:23Speaker 2: my part? Who threw out the James Comy and Letitia
- 1:26Speaker 2: James indictments. And of course Komy, he's so smug, he's
- 1:30Speaker 2: so smug. But methinks James Komy is not going to
- 1:34Speaker 2: end up happy at the end because even if he
- 1:37Speaker 2: doesn't get convicted of anything, I think the point of
- 1:41Speaker 2: the Justice Department's actions are to make it so that
- 1:44Speaker 2: James Comy spends so much money defending himself that he
- 1:48Speaker 2: will be bankrupt. And I think that's the point. Does
- 1:50Speaker 2: that sound malicious? Yes? Is it something the Democrats have
- 1:54Speaker 2: a PhD In doing it to Republicans over the years?
- 1:57Speaker 2: App so frickin' loutely, and it's about to and they
- 2:00Speaker 2: get a little taste of their own medicine. Same thing
- 2:01Speaker 2: with little Tissue James. You know she thinks she's off
- 2:04Speaker 2: the hook, you know, Tish. Sorry Tish, you signed allegedly
- 2:08Speaker 2: signed all these documents saying that you would have as
- 2:11Speaker 2: your primary residence your residence in Virginia when you are
- 2:14Speaker 2: the attorney general of the state of New York and
- 2:16Speaker 2: must have there's a residency requirement here. Than who are
- 2:19Speaker 2: you lying to? Maybe you should leave the position of
- 2:22Speaker 2: Attorney general in New York, right because technically you're saying
- 2:25Speaker 2: that Virginia's your primary residence, so you should leave your position.
- 2:30Speaker 2: That's what you're saying. You lied to somebody, Either you
- 2:34Speaker 2: lied on your documents in Virginia or you lied to
- 2:36Speaker 2: the people of New York saying that this was your
- 2:38Speaker 2: primary residence when it wasn't. So one has to give.
- 2:42Speaker 2: You can't have both simultaneously. They're mutually exclusive. And of
- 2:46Speaker 2: course her argument was that the prosecutor her the judge
- 2:50Speaker 2: in this case, who threw out the cases. The argument
- 2:53Speaker 2: was the prosecutor appointed by Trump was no longer legally
- 2:57Speaker 2: in power because it was a temporary, an interim appointment
- 3:01Speaker 2: by the Justice Department, so the cases had to be
- 3:04Speaker 2: thrown out. Well, before you get too excited, the cases
- 3:08Speaker 2: were dismissed in a way called without prejudice. To explain,
- 3:13Speaker 2: that is the Big professor at George Washington University, Jonathan Turley.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Listen up, Poleticia James took a bit of a victory
- 3:21Speaker 3: lap after this decision, and I think she missed the
- 3:24Speaker 3: two words that followed dismissal, and it was dismissal without prejudice.
- 3:30Speaker 3: So the Trump administration, even if they lose on appeal,
- 3:35Speaker 3: could seek out a new indictment. This is not over
- 3:38Speaker 3: for James, or call me. The judge specifically said, I
- 3:42Speaker 3: am not going to grant your motion to dismiss with prejudice.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I'm going to allow them to cure this problem.
- 3:49Speaker 2: So this means the Justice Department can refile the charges
- 3:54Speaker 2: if they want to ensure Comy and James, if they
- 3:56Speaker 2: want to ensure those charges will be refiled. Keep gloating,
- 4:01Speaker 2: besmirching the Trump administration, you will guarantee or be guaranteed
- 4:06Speaker 2: that you will be back in court very soon. The
- 4:08Speaker 2: Trump administration apparently will first appeal the act of as
- 4:12Speaker 2: judge's decision to the Fourth US Circuit Court of Appeals
- 4:15Speaker 2: in Richmond, Virginia, which used to be considered kind of
- 4:18Speaker 2: a conservative court, but in recent years because of Biden
- 4:22Speaker 2: packing the courts with left wing extremists on purpose. It's
- 4:26Speaker 2: not so much. It's more to the left. But you know,
- 4:28Speaker 2: the people who are in those districts who would be
- 4:33Speaker 2: on the grand jury, they tend to still be a
- 4:36Speaker 2: little right of center. So we'll see what happens if
- 4:38Speaker 2: it gets to that point. Seven ten wo R the
- 4:41Speaker 2: Voice of New York. It's Ken Rosotto in for Mark
- 4:44Speaker 2: and New Jersey lawmakers also have been busy. They've been
- 4:49Speaker 2: talking about all sorts of stuff. They want to ban
- 4:51Speaker 2: ice agents and other law enforcement who interact with the
- 4:55Speaker 2: public from wearing masks or disguises. There's a bill that
- 4:59Speaker 2: they introduced. It would allow undercover officers those wearing shields
- 5:03Speaker 2: that don't cover their faces or medical masks, but they
- 5:05Speaker 2: cannot wear something that specifically covers their masks. It covers
- 5:09Speaker 2: their faces rather not revealing their identities to people on
- 5:13Speaker 2: the street, and violators would face fines of up to
- 5:16Speaker 2: one thousand dollars and could get up to six months
- 5:19Speaker 2: in jail. But apparently they have not seen something called
- 5:23Speaker 2: the Constitution and the supremacy clause. So allow me to
- 5:27Speaker 2: read what the supremacy clause is. It's Article six, paragraph
- 5:31Speaker 2: two of the US Constitution. It says, quote, a state
- 5:34Speaker 2: or municipality cannot pass a law that interferes with the
- 5:39Speaker 2: execution of federal law or the duties of federal agents.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So maybe the good state senators in New Jersey and
- 5:46Speaker 2: maybe they missed that day in school and our later
- 5:49Speaker 2: in this hour, in our next half hour, we will
- 5:51Speaker 2: speak with Congressional candidate Billy Prempa. He is a Republican
- 5:55Speaker 2: running for Congress in New Jersey's ninth congressional district, and
- 5:59Speaker 2: we'll talk to him about the foolishness of states or
- 6:01Speaker 2: local municipalities trying to pass what are obviously just symbolic
- 6:05Speaker 2: laws that cannot be enforced. And also in New Jersey,
- 6:09Speaker 2: funding for beach replenishment was eliminated in the fiscal twenty
- 6:14Speaker 2: twenty five federal budget, and that could spell trouble for
- 6:16Speaker 2: the New Jersey Sure only four of the twelve required
- 6:20Speaker 2: federal spending bills passed. The bill that would fund the
- 6:23Speaker 2: Army Corps of Engineers is now under continuing resolution thanks
- 6:27Speaker 2: to the Democrats. Without federal dollars, many New Jersey beach
- 6:31Speaker 2: towns are going to have to self fund erosion control
- 6:34Speaker 2: or look for another solution. Well, some local officials are
- 6:38Speaker 2: even looking into new erosion control systems that would be
- 6:40Speaker 2: less expensive, including offshore sand filled barriers. That's what they
- 6:45Speaker 2: do down in Florida, by the way, because if they
- 6:47Speaker 2: had to replenish the sand after every storm, they'd have
- 6:50Speaker 2: been bankrupt decades ago. So look to states like Florida,
- 6:54Speaker 2: Texas or even other countries where they're constantly figuring a
- 6:57Speaker 2: way to preserve their sand. So now question is, with
- 7:00Speaker 2: the Continuing Resolution still providing funding at last year's level,
- 7:05Speaker 2: why does New Jersey need so much more money in
- 7:07Speaker 2: this year's budget? I mean, seriously, how much more expensive
- 7:10Speaker 2: is it to preserve your shore this year versus last
- 7:13Speaker 2: Did the Army Corps engineers like jack up their prices?
- 7:16Speaker 2: You know, we didn't have a big event like Superstorm Sandy.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So why do you think it's going to be so
- 7:21Speaker 2: much more money this year to replenish your shoreline. It's
- 7:24Speaker 2: because Democrats in a state like New Jersey are always
- 7:27Speaker 2: looking for more money, more money, more money, more money.
- 7:30Speaker 2: In their mindset, just can't get enough. It's his money, money, money,
- 7:33Speaker 2: and it's about taking it from you and giving it
- 7:35Speaker 2: to me. If the state of New Jersey wasn't wasting
- 7:38Speaker 2: billions upon billions of dollars to pay for the nine
- 7:42Speaker 2: hundred thousand plus illegal aliens that we currently know of,
- 7:47Speaker 2: let alone the countless more that we and I say
- 7:49Speaker 2: week as I live in New Jersey. Not counting the
- 7:51Speaker 2: countless more that we don't know of, New Jersey would
- 7:53Speaker 2: have tons of extra money without having to raise taxes.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It's liberals in New Jersey who simply do not put
- 8:00Speaker 2: two and two together, nor do they care to do so.
- 8:03Speaker 2: To realize that if you want lower electric rates, less
- 8:06Speaker 2: congestion on highways, teachers who could take better care of
- 8:09Speaker 2: your child because there would be fewer students per classroom,
- 8:13Speaker 2: not to mention lower crime, stop voting Democrat in order
- 8:18Speaker 2: to change the state's sanctuary status so as not to
- 8:22Speaker 2: permit this huge number of illegal aliens. And this is
- 8:24Speaker 2: not an anti immigrant sentiment because my family are immigrants.
- 8:28Speaker 2: This is an anti illegal immigrant sentiment. So stop conflating
- 8:33Speaker 2: all immigrants with illegal immigrants. If the immigrants were here illegally,
- 8:37Speaker 2: they'd be paying taxes, they would have Social Security numbers,
- 8:40Speaker 2: they would be contributing members of society. Okay, we would
- 8:44Speaker 2: have kids that we could account for in schools, and
- 8:47Speaker 2: with the additional local taxes the parents would be paying,
- 8:50Speaker 2: we could build more schools and hire more teachers. But
- 8:52Speaker 2: under the current federal law, we have to educate every
- 8:56Speaker 2: student who comes in, whether legal or not. If they
- 8:58Speaker 2: don't speak English, we have to higher teachers who can
- 9:01Speaker 2: speak multiple languages, and that costs even more. Plus we
- 9:04Speaker 2: have to provide two to three meals a day at
- 9:06Speaker 2: public schools for all students, including the children of the
- 9:09Speaker 2: illegal migrants under the law. Liberals love to use the
- 9:13Speaker 2: word sustainable. Sustainable, Well, look, it is simply not sustainable
- 9:19Speaker 2: in the state of New Jersey when ten percent of
- 9:22Speaker 2: the current population is illegal. Think about that. How staggering
- 9:27Speaker 2: is that a tet one in ten people in the
- 9:29Speaker 2: state of New Jersey that we know of, that's an
- 9:32Speaker 2: absolute fact that we know of is an illegal alien.
- 9:36Speaker 2: That is the approximate number, probably more than that. At
- 9:39Speaker 2: what point do we say enough is enough? You just
- 9:43Speaker 2: can't have an open door and let anybody in and
- 9:47Speaker 2: expect that it's not going to have a negative, deliterious
- 9:49Speaker 2: impact on our community. Do we stop when it's fifty
- 9:53Speaker 2: percent of illegal aliens? It's ridiculous. We literally have handed
- 9:56Speaker 2: over our nation to anybody who wanted it for the
- 9:59Speaker 2: ti aching, and you could thank the Democrats and the
- 10:02Speaker 2: Biden administration for the last four years for doing that
- 10:05Speaker 2: to us. That's exactly the legacy of Joe Biden and
- 10:08Speaker 2: the Democrats. But yet they get rewarded for it because
- 10:12Speaker 2: you have liberal Democrats, especially and I might let me
- 10:16Speaker 2: let me single out some groups tends to be white
- 10:19Speaker 2: liberal women who are like thirty thirty five and under.
- 10:23Speaker 2: They specifically they're like the largest group of hardcore Democrats
- 10:27Speaker 2: who will never vote anything else. I know you're going
- 10:29Speaker 2: to say, I'm a Republican kid, I read it.
- 10:31Speaker 1: No.
- 10:32Speaker 2: But when in terms of groups and painting a broad
- 10:34Speaker 2: brush there, that group seems to be like unapologetically Democrat,
- 10:39Speaker 2: you cannot even bring it up with that group. For
- 10:42Speaker 2: whatever reason. I think a lot of brainwashing in school
- 10:45Speaker 2: and on social media has to do with that. Seven
- 10:48Speaker 2: ten wo r the Voice of New York Ken Rosotto
- 10:51Speaker 2: in for Mark the phone lines are open eight hundred
- 10:53Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Hey.
- 10:56Speaker 2: There was a new Rutgers University led climate study trying
- 10:59Speaker 2: to scare the dickens out of people into thinking New
- 11:02Speaker 2: Jersey could see up to a three point eight foot
- 11:05Speaker 2: sea level rise by the year twenty one hundred under
- 11:08Speaker 2: current carbon emission. By the way, whenever I do liberal talk,
- 11:11Speaker 2: I'm going to add a lisp. I have that prerogative.
- 11:15Speaker 2: That number could rise to four point five feet if
- 11:17Speaker 2: ice sheet melt accelerates. I'll tell you what. Let's give
- 11:22Speaker 2: cows broccoli to eat, and their farts will cause the
- 11:25Speaker 2: oceans to rise a bazillion feet. I mean, scientists warned.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Can I say farts?
- 11:30Speaker 5: Oh?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Okay? Mark doesn't say farts, does he? Okay, Let's say flatulence.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I'm sorry, so rewind the tape. Is he okay? Good?
- 11:36Speaker 2: So we'll say flatchel okay, replace the word farts with flatulence.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Good science has warned that flood risk is increasing rapidly
- 11:44Speaker 2: across the state, particularly for coastal and tidal river communities.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That's the quote they gave us from Rutgers. Now, it
- 11:50Speaker 2: should be mentioned that many environmental studies make these scary
- 11:53Speaker 2: predictions that can never be proven. Rush Limba used to
- 11:57Speaker 2: talk about this, God rest your soul, Rush, because by
- 12:00Speaker 2: the time this would come true, you and I are
- 12:04Speaker 2: going to be dead twenty one hundred. That's the year
- 12:07Speaker 2: twenty one hundred let's see, I'll be one hundred and
- 12:09Speaker 2: how many years old? Not so why don't we all
- 12:12Speaker 2: get together in seventy five years and see if it
- 12:14Speaker 2: was true. Every prediction these liberals, environmentalists, they've all made.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It has not come to pass, none of it. It
- 12:21Speaker 2: should also be mentioned, by the way, the organizations that
- 12:23Speaker 2: finance studies like this one at Rutgers only finance studies
- 12:27Speaker 2: that set out to prove sea levels arising and the
- 12:31Speaker 2: cause is human negligence. You do not get the financing
- 12:35Speaker 2: unless that is the premise. So in others, if I say,
- 12:38Speaker 2: well I'll take a look at whether humans have an
- 12:42Speaker 2: influence on the environment and sea levels rising, you don't
- 12:45Speaker 2: get the money. So an organization like Rutgers says, okay,
- 12:49Speaker 2: we're going to set out to prove this is so
- 12:52Speaker 2: now they get one hundred million dollar just making up
- 12:54Speaker 2: the number one hundred million. Now they get one hundred million.
- 12:56Speaker 2: They go out and they could finance whatever classes and
- 12:59Speaker 2: they can could run these studies, but you have to
- 13:02Speaker 2: have that as the premis. So you start out on
- 13:05Speaker 2: a liberal premise. So just to qualify that's what you
- 13:08Speaker 2: have to say. It's unbelievable Nowhere in the equation is
- 13:12Speaker 2: whether sea levels are actually rising. Are humans impacting sea levels?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Is carbon emission because these leftist radical scientists environmentalists are
- 13:23Speaker 2: convinced that humans are causing too much carbon to be
- 13:26Speaker 2: emitted and that the excess carbon is raising temperatures and
- 13:30Speaker 2: the temperatures are melting polarized caps, and the polarized caps
- 13:32Speaker 2: melting or causing sea levels to rise. So they start
- 13:34Speaker 2: off with that foregone conclusion. Then they ask scientists and
- 13:38Speaker 2: collegists to reinforce their crackpot theories that can't be proven
- 13:42Speaker 2: by giving them lots of money they get from environmentalists,
- 13:45Speaker 2: wacko donors, and liberal government entities. Now, there are a
- 13:49Speaker 2: lot of scientists who don't believe those theories at all.
- 13:52Speaker 2: They believe climate is changing, but they don't believe humans
- 13:55Speaker 2: have a significant impact. Maybe a tiny one, but not much,
- 13:58Speaker 2: because climate has been changing way for humans came and
- 14:01Speaker 2: way after humans are going to be gone. Climate has
- 14:03Speaker 2: always changed. Just look at history, and there is a
- 14:05Speaker 2: way to do that by taking ice core samples, et cetera.
- 14:09Speaker 2: The Earth has gotten warmer, then it's gotten colder, then
- 14:11Speaker 2: it's gotten warmer, then it's gotten colder Greenland, perfect example.
- 14:15Speaker 2: The name Greenland is called greenland because it used to
- 14:18Speaker 2: be green. Now it's ice covered. So yes, there is
- 14:21Speaker 2: climate change, but humans didn't cause it because it turned
- 14:24Speaker 2: icy way before we had carbon emissions like this. There's
- 14:27Speaker 2: documentation all about it, but we could talk about that
- 14:30Speaker 2: on and on and on. Just don't take what the
- 14:33Speaker 2: liberals are saying seriously and always take these studies with
- 14:36Speaker 2: a grain of salt. Seven ten wr the Voice of
- 14:39Speaker 2: New York Mark taking a nice long weekend today, Ken
- 14:42Speaker 2: Rozotto filling and taken calls at eight hundred and three
- 14:44Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten. Whatever you want to
- 14:46Speaker 2: talk about, politics, even Thanksgiving recipes, anything, and coming up
- 14:50Speaker 2: later in the show, we'll talk with New Jersey Republican
- 14:52Speaker 2: congressional candidate Billy Prempa about the Garden State's new bill
- 14:55Speaker 2: to make it illegal for ice agents to wear masks.
- 14:58Speaker 2: It's eleven twenty one what you're listening to and we're coming.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Right back now more of the Mark Simone Show on
- 15:04Speaker 1: seven to ten wo r killing in from Mark.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Here again is Ken Rosado. Very good to be with you.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Straight to our busy phones, we go to Stuart in
- 15:13Speaker 2: South Carolina. Happy early Thanksgiving to Stewart.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Thanks Ken, How are you good?
- 15:18Speaker 4: Miss great? Talk to you.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Listen, you were talking about all the illegal aliens in Jersey.
- 15:23Speaker 6: You know, in the South, we work with ICE for
- 15:25Speaker 6: the most part, and we find illegal aliens and we
- 15:28Speaker 6: send them back. But do you remember a while back
- 15:30Speaker 6: those escapees. One of them went to two Jersey troopers
- 15:35Speaker 6: and they sent him away.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yes, that was in Newark. They went into the police
- 15:39Speaker 2: precinct in Newark. Yeah. See, and that's where you got
- 15:44Speaker 2: to scratch your head, Stuart, I mean to step on you.
- 15:46Speaker 2: That's where you got to scratch your head and say
- 15:47Speaker 2: to yourself, there's a difference between we will not help. Okay,
- 15:51Speaker 2: you don't want to actively go out if you were
- 15:52Speaker 2: a sanctuary city, you don't want to actively go out
- 15:55Speaker 2: and arrest illegal aliens. But when they come to you
- 15:58Speaker 2: and say here I am come on really, I.
- 16:02Speaker 6: Mean when I heard that, I how was that? Poplectic?
- 16:06Speaker 6: I said, this is phenomenal, but you know it is unbelievable.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Tish says she has the backs of the police officers
- 16:12Speaker 6: and the NYPD, but then will not work for ICE. So,
- 16:16Speaker 6: in other words, the police officers have got to go
- 16:18Speaker 6: against these illegal, hardened criminals and risk their lives. So
- 16:21Speaker 6: you tell me how the two makes sense. Everybody's expounding
- 16:25Speaker 6: how wonderful tissue is. I don't look at it that way.
- 16:28Speaker 6: If she was wonderful, she would be working with ICE
- 16:31Speaker 6: to get those hardened criminals out of that state, out
- 16:34Speaker 6: of that city and protect the police officers and the civilians.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Yeah, the problem, dude, the problem is it's not her,
- 16:42Speaker 2: it's the law. You know, the law in New York
- 16:44Speaker 2: is sanctuary law means that you know, they the city
- 16:48Speaker 2: tells the police what law you know, you're a police officer,
- 16:51Speaker 2: what laws they can and can enforce. And that's part
- 16:54Speaker 2: of the problem. And the prosecutors won't prosecute. I mean,
- 16:57Speaker 2: this is my argument has always been, Look, if they
- 17:00Speaker 2: talk about the fact that, you know, that's a federal crime,
- 17:03Speaker 2: we don't have to go after federal crimes. Well, the
- 17:06Speaker 2: problem is robbing a bank, that's an FBI case. That's
- 17:09Speaker 2: a federal crime. How about counterfeiting, how about kidnapping, how
- 17:12Speaker 2: about illegally transporting across state lines, sex trafficking, and these
- 17:17Speaker 2: are all federal crimes, yet local police always always take part.
- 17:21Speaker 2: You pursuing somebody across the state line. That's when it
- 17:24Speaker 2: becomes a federal crime. Yet local police still do it.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I mean it's pick and choose. You can choose not to.
- 17:31Speaker 2: But how is it if what they're saying is true.
- 17:33Speaker 2: We're you know, we're local police. We can't enforce those crimes.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Then the other thirty five states that do enforce them
- 17:39Speaker 2: and help out ICE, then they're somehow breaking the law.
- 17:43Speaker 4: That exactly right.
- 17:44Speaker 6: I'll never forget when Deblasio had a gallon bag with
- 17:48Speaker 6: I think the police commissioner and fill marijuana, and so
- 17:51Speaker 6: you can legally carry this around New York City. Now
- 17:54Speaker 6: now apparently in New York City everywhere you go, you're
- 17:57Speaker 6: smelling marijuana being smoked everywhere, but that is still against
- 18:01Speaker 6: federal law. I do not understand how New York City
- 18:05Speaker 6: is allowing a gallon bag of marijuana be carried legally
- 18:08Speaker 6: in that city.
- 18:09Speaker 2: And technically, as you know, ICE agents or whatever, federal
- 18:12Speaker 2: agents can go around and say, all right, I know
- 18:14Speaker 2: that you think it's cool to be smoking pot in public,
- 18:16Speaker 2: but you're under federal arrest. I mean, they could do that, right,
- 18:19Speaker 2: The question is will they and what will the response
- 18:22Speaker 2: from the people be But you know, now we're finding
- 18:24Speaker 2: out more and more. For years we were told, oh, pot,
- 18:26Speaker 2: it's innocuous, it's not addictive. Now we find out, yeah,
- 18:29Speaker 2: it is addictive. The high, the high THHC pot right
- 18:32Speaker 2: now is dangerous. It causes all sorts of problems.
- 18:36Speaker 6: The THC level in pot used to be three percent
- 18:38Speaker 6: when I was a kid, and I'll be seventy two.
- 18:41Speaker 6: Now it's eighteen to nineteen to twenty percent DHC. This
- 18:44Speaker 6: is engineered marijuana. This is not your grandparents at marijuana anymore.
- 18:49Speaker 6: And people are driving on this all the time and
- 18:52Speaker 6: they're extremely dangerous, And I don't know, I just don't
- 18:57Speaker 6: understand how the public is not outraged by all the
- 19:00Speaker 6: money the illegals are causing them and living like this
- 19:04Speaker 6: with people stoned all the time.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Colorado State Police Steward, Colorado State Police, said that the
- 19:09Speaker 2: head of Colorado State Police, where it was first legalized, said,
- 19:12Speaker 2: if he knew then what he knows now about the
- 19:15Speaker 2: number of highway deaths and the fact that you can't
- 19:17Speaker 2: do public enforcement there is no breathalyzer or roadside test
- 19:21Speaker 2: right that. If he knew that, he would have said,
- 19:24Speaker 2: absolutely not. We cannot make this legal.
- 19:27Speaker 6: You have to have a blood test. There's no side
- 19:29Speaker 6: of the road other than stigmas and things like that,
- 19:31Speaker 6: and then you can take them in for a blood test.
- 19:33Speaker 6: But as far as as any kind of alcacins or
- 19:35Speaker 6: thing like that, there's nothing except for maybe alcohol, DUIs.
- 19:39Speaker 6: But when you're talking about marijuana, My son was doing
- 19:42Speaker 6: seventy five miles an hour, is a deputy, and he
- 19:47Speaker 6: calls me. He said that I'm not in my county.
- 19:49Speaker 6: He said, I'm smelling marijuana coming from the car in
- 19:51Speaker 6: front of me and we're doing seventy five miles lay
- 19:54Speaker 6: or on the interstate.
- 19:54Speaker 2: My god, I mean to laugh, but it's like how
- 19:56Speaker 2: much pods you got to be spoken that you could
- 19:58Speaker 2: smell it in the police carby id your good lord,
- 20:01Speaker 2: It's like arresting Cheech and Chong. Stuart, Happy Thanksgiving, my friend.
- 20:05Speaker 2: We got to go to news. But I appreciate you
- 20:07Speaker 2: all the time when you call enjoy all right? My
- 20:10Speaker 2: gosh seven ten wo r the voice of New York
- 20:14Speaker 2: and Stuart is right, it's crazy, you know, Look, marijuana,
- 20:18Speaker 2: you want to do whatever you want to do in
- 20:20Speaker 2: the privacy of your own home. I'm not going to
- 20:22Speaker 2: judge you, but let's just make one thing clear. Let's
- 20:25Speaker 2: you and I and our friends and relative let's all
- 20:27Speaker 2: agree on one thing. Don't get behind the wheel. Even
- 20:29Speaker 2: if you have a couple of drinks. Let your relative
- 20:31Speaker 2: who didn't drink, let them drive. Because if you have
- 20:34Speaker 2: a couple of drinks and the guy behind you and
- 20:36Speaker 2: the guy in front of you has a couple of drinks,
- 20:38Speaker 2: it doesn't make for a good highway situation. And you
- 20:40Speaker 2: don't want the holidays to become tragic, all right, So
- 20:42Speaker 2: let's please promise that it is a Wednesday. Ken Rozattowin
- 20:45Speaker 2: fromar Coming up in our next half hour, New Jersey
- 20:48Speaker 2: Republican congressional candidate Billy Prempa. We'll talk about the Garden
- 20:52Speaker 2: State's new bill to make it illegal for ice agents
- 20:55Speaker 2: to wear masks.
- 20:56Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven to ten.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Kine from Mark Today, here's Ken Rosanna.
- 21:04Speaker 2: And it's so good to be with you that day
- 21:05Speaker 2: before Thanksgiving and our friend here, Billy Prempa, is an
- 21:09Speaker 2: Air Force veteran who is running for congress in New
- 21:12Speaker 2: Jersey's ninth congressional district, which includes the city of Patterson,
- 21:16Speaker 2: A heavily Hispanic district, which voted for President Trump. The
- 21:19Speaker 2: New Jersey State Senate recently introduced a bill that would
- 21:22Speaker 2: make it illegal illegal for ice agents to wear masks
- 21:27Speaker 2: when doing their work. It would be punishable by a
- 21:30Speaker 2: fine of up to one thousand dollars in time behind bars.
- 21:33Speaker 2: So we say good morning to Billy Prempa. What do
- 21:35Speaker 2: you think about the nuttiness of the New Jersey State Senate.
- 21:40Speaker 4: I mean, I think you nailed it right there. It's
- 21:42Speaker 4: straight up nuttiness. I mean, I think Democratic Party is
- 21:45Speaker 4: trying to find any opportunity to instruct what President Trump
- 21:48Speaker 4: is trying to do in this country. The people want
- 21:50Speaker 4: safer streets, We want to have these people out of
- 21:52Speaker 4: our country. And the truth is that working as an
- 21:54Speaker 4: ice agent, it's a very difficult job. It could be
- 21:57Speaker 4: very dangerous, even puts you at a risk. And I
- 21:59Speaker 4: think that having someone arrested and put in jail and
- 22:02Speaker 4: find it only solely done to try and disincentivize our
- 22:06Speaker 4: ice AGAs from getting their work done. But it only
- 22:09Speaker 4: empowers a criminal at the end of the day.
- 22:11Speaker 2: You know, Billy, I thought the Democrats were the party
- 22:13Speaker 2: that loved masks about it exactly, but they are saying
- 22:19Speaker 2: there would be an exemption to medical masks or to
- 22:22Speaker 2: masks that are see through, like the face shields. So
- 22:25Speaker 2: here's what I would do if I was the head
- 22:27Speaker 2: of ICE in the region, I would say, well, these
- 22:29Speaker 2: are medical masks. They're medically required because every one of
- 22:32Speaker 2: our agents was exposed to a substance at work, so
- 22:35Speaker 2: they have to wear medical masks. I mean, technically there's
- 22:37Speaker 2: vagueness in the way the law is written, but I
- 22:41Speaker 2: mean it's unenforceable nonetheless, because right the Supremacy Clause of
- 22:44Speaker 2: the Constitution says state and local laws cannot be enacted
- 22:49Speaker 2: that would supersede federal laws.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and and and that's the issue that I think
- 22:56Speaker 4: that are the Democratic Party is doing here is the
- 22:59Speaker 4: rules for the rules, not for me kind of scenario.
- 23:01Speaker 4: When the pandemic was going on, they all weren't favored
- 23:04Speaker 4: for it, but now when people are trying to do
- 23:07Speaker 4: their job, they're completely against it. And the issue is
- 23:10Speaker 4: that you also bring up a very valid point, is
- 23:12Speaker 4: like we don't know who's coming in, what they have,
- 23:15Speaker 4: or what the situation may be. I'll think it's more
- 23:17Speaker 4: different than police officers even covering their face when they're
- 23:20Speaker 4: entering certain circumstances. We don't know what they may have.
- 23:24Speaker 4: I mean. And the frustrating thing is is a lot
- 23:27Speaker 4: of the drugs that are coming into this country, fencinal particularly,
- 23:31Speaker 4: it only takes a very small amount to hurt you
- 23:33Speaker 4: and affect you. And I think that the safety and
- 23:35Speaker 4: the well being of our ice officers is paramount, and
- 23:38Speaker 4: especially when we don't know who we're dealing with.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Look, the Democrat Party of the United States is responsible
- 23:44Speaker 2: for the greatest trafficking of individual humans in history. Think
- 23:49Speaker 2: about the hundreds of thousands, if not millions of kids
- 23:53Speaker 2: miners who were sex trafficked and permitted to have that
- 23:57Speaker 2: done to them. Literally, with the blood sing of the
- 24:00Speaker 2: Biden administration, we lost track of hundreds of thousands of kids.
- 24:04Speaker 2: They came in, they went to sponsor family, sponsor families
- 24:07Speaker 2: that weren't vetted. In some cases, you had families literally
- 24:10Speaker 2: who received three hundred kids and then there was no
- 24:13Speaker 2: follow up done. You had phone numbers. This was and
- 24:16Speaker 2: this is not my opinion, this isn't rumor. This is
- 24:19Speaker 2: in a congressional hearing. You had an agent of the
- 24:22Speaker 2: federal government under the Biden administration, saying that there was
- 24:26Speaker 2: an eight hundred number given to these miners when they
- 24:29Speaker 2: got to their homes. They're homes of their sponsors in
- 24:32Speaker 2: the United States, and they were told if there's a problem,
- 24:35Speaker 2: if you're stress, if there's an issue, if you're being abused,
- 24:38Speaker 2: call this number. And apparently only one human being was
- 24:41Speaker 2: assigned to answer that call, and some fifty thousand plus
- 24:45Speaker 2: calls came in and went unanswered. That is disgusting. Where
- 24:49Speaker 2: is the prosecution of these individuals.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Well, I think I think they're complicit in the human trafficking.
- 24:56Speaker 4: And it's interesting that you mentioned that because in twenty
- 24:59Speaker 4: twenty one, when I over to the southern border, we
- 25:01Speaker 4: were able to speak with some of the migrants that
- 25:03Speaker 4: were crossing over, and this was something that I've heard
- 25:06Speaker 4: frequently that if you had any issue, you reach out
- 25:09Speaker 4: to the government, but it's like once across the border
- 25:11Speaker 4: and you get into the United States, they don't care anymore.
- 25:14Speaker 4: I think that was more of a virtue signal to
- 25:16Speaker 4: make the nation believe that something was being done on
- 25:20Speaker 4: their behalf and their benefit. But I think once they
- 25:22Speaker 4: got inside, nobody really cared. It just became our problem.
- 25:25Speaker 4: At the end of the day.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yeah, And I don't know about you. I'm sure you
- 25:28Speaker 2: probably feel similar to me on this one. The conflation
- 25:32Speaker 2: by Democrats of illegal migrants and migrants, there is a difference.
- 25:38Speaker 2: There are so many millions of people in this country
- 25:41Speaker 2: who migrated here legally, and then you have illegal migrants.
- 25:45Speaker 2: There is a difference. It's like you inviting somebody into
- 25:48Speaker 2: your house for dinner or somebody burglarizing your house in
- 25:51Speaker 2: the middle of the night. Yes, they're both at your house.
- 25:53Speaker 2: One was invited in, one was not. What is so
- 25:56Speaker 2: hard to understand? Do they think we're all stupid? And
- 25:59Speaker 2: as as the grandchild of migrants who came legally, I
- 26:03Speaker 2: am so highly offended when I hear that conflation. And
- 26:06Speaker 2: I'm sure many legal migrants.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Are, yeah, including myself. I mean, both of my parents
- 26:11Speaker 4: immigrated here from Ghana legally nineteen eighty four. They also
- 26:15Speaker 4: brought fourteen other relatives into the country, each and every
- 26:17Speaker 4: one of them swearing as an American citizen, taking the
- 26:20Speaker 4: oath and doing it the right way. So when I
- 26:23Speaker 4: see when I see people on the left claiming that
- 26:26Speaker 4: no one is illegal and everyone is legal, and they
- 26:29Speaker 4: all have claims that it's country. It's not just a
- 26:31Speaker 4: flap in the face to mine, but it's a flap
- 26:33Speaker 4: in the face and my parents and all those who
- 26:35Speaker 4: have spent the money, who've invested, who paid their taxes,
- 26:37Speaker 4: who have done it the right way to happily become
- 26:40Speaker 4: an American citizen. And the fact that there's people that
- 26:42Speaker 4: want to hop the border or overstay their visas and
- 26:45Speaker 4: then take advantage of our nation, and we have a
- 26:47Speaker 4: party that's supposed to be representing the American people representing
- 26:50Speaker 4: them on the other side. It's ridiculous and I think
- 26:52Speaker 4: it's a pretty much treacherous. It's treasonous.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Man, you nailed it seven to ten. Wo r the
- 26:58Speaker 2: Voice of New York Ken Risatto win for on the
- 27:00Speaker 2: Wednesday before Thanksgiving with Billy Prepp. But who, by the way,
- 27:03Speaker 2: is an Air Force veteran running for Congress in New
- 27:06Speaker 2: Jersey's ninth congressional district. So look at that. You were
- 27:08Speaker 2: the child of immigrants and you became a member of
- 27:13Speaker 2: our military to be to show your pride in America.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And it's funny. My parents same situation. My grandparents came
- 27:21Speaker 2: from Italy. My father comes from a family of nine boys,
- 27:24Speaker 2: and I believe eight of the nine, including my dad,
- 27:27Speaker 2: we're all in the military. I mean, it's just it's
- 27:29Speaker 2: that pride of being American. But what's said is you
- 27:32Speaker 2: see too many people by the third, fourth, fifth generation,
- 27:35Speaker 2: they sort of get so used to being American that
- 27:38Speaker 2: they lose the sense of how special it is.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Absolutely, and I don't want that to ever be lost.
- 27:44Speaker 4: I think that's something that America is starting to lose
- 27:47Speaker 4: because of that conflation between migrants and immigrants and illegals
- 27:52Speaker 4: and actual citizens. And I think a lot of that
- 27:54Speaker 4: is being done at person, is done on purpose to
- 27:57Speaker 4: try and destroy the fabric of our nation to us
- 28:00Speaker 4: to do what's right. I support Ice, and I believe
- 28:03Speaker 4: that all of our citizens should support Ice. And we
- 28:05Speaker 4: need to put America first above all, not the means
- 28:07Speaker 4: of others.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Now, I'd like to see if this bill makes it
- 28:10Speaker 2: through the Assembly and then gets to either the current governor,
- 28:13Speaker 2: Governor Murphy or Governor Mikey in January. Like to see
- 28:17Speaker 2: if it gets to their desks, if they sign it
- 28:19Speaker 2: into law. Would New Jersey State police arrest US federal
- 28:23Speaker 2: agents and then what would happen because the federal ations
- 28:26Speaker 2: could turn around and arrest in New Jersey state police
- 28:28Speaker 2: for doing that. Right, I mean, that's interfering with the
- 28:30Speaker 2: federal officer.
- 28:32Speaker 4: It's just about to get in And I was watching
- 28:34Speaker 4: not too long ago that she was floating an idea
- 28:36Speaker 4: to not pay federal taxes to the federal government. So
- 28:39Speaker 4: I can only see the situation getting worse before it
- 28:41Speaker 4: actually gets good. But who knows. I mean, similar to
- 28:44Speaker 4: how President Trump was able to get mob Donnie to
- 28:46Speaker 4: the table, and it seems like they've been able to
- 28:48Speaker 4: make some sense of what can be done for the
- 28:50Speaker 4: betterment of the people of New York. I'm hoping that
- 28:52Speaker 4: Mikey Cheryl is just talking rhetoric right now and she
- 28:54Speaker 4: actually realized the responsibility that she has and tries to
- 28:58Speaker 4: do the right thing. I won't hope breath, but I
- 29:00Speaker 4: really hope.
- 29:01Speaker 2: So, Hey, Billy, just the funny thing again, Democrat hypocrisy.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Here she her argument. Mikey Cheryl's argument was New Jersey
- 29:08Speaker 2: is paying more money to the federal government than it
- 29:10Speaker 2: gets back. Well, how about the same argument democrats use
- 29:14Speaker 2: with take the rich and make the rich pay more
- 29:16Speaker 2: taxes for what it's redistribution of wealth. Same thing with
- 29:19Speaker 2: the states Sometimes New Jersey will be making more money
- 29:22Speaker 2: and having to pay more money to the federal government.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Sometimes it'll be on the recipient and it all depends.
- 29:26Speaker 2: As New Jersey continues to lose population to Southern states,
- 29:30Speaker 2: there will be a point when Florida will be paying
- 29:32Speaker 2: more income taxes than New Jersey to the federal government,
- 29:35Speaker 2: and New Jersey will be on the recipient end. That's
- 29:37Speaker 2: the way it works. But I love how Democrats love
- 29:39Speaker 2: it when it's taxed the rich, but when it comes
- 29:41Speaker 2: to tax the rich state, No, then then you can't
- 29:44Speaker 2: do that. Now we got to get more money back.
- 29:46Speaker 2: I'd like to see Mikey if she tries to do that,
- 29:48Speaker 2: she'll be hauled off in cuffs. That would be quite
- 29:50Speaker 2: interesting to see. But I'm not saying that one way
- 29:53Speaker 2: or the other. Hey, Billy, tell us once again, tell
- 29:56Speaker 2: us your website how they can find out more about
- 29:58Speaker 2: your campaign and if they want to make a donate.
- 30:00Speaker 4: They can follow me on social media. Just go to
- 30:02Speaker 4: Billy premp Ed b I L L Y p R
- 30:04Speaker 4: E m p e H or Billy prempeed dot com
- 30:07Speaker 4: to visit my website, my policies. If you like to volunteer, donate,
- 30:10Speaker 4: get on board because we got a big mission to
- 30:12Speaker 4: do it twenty twenty six. Everyone across the state of
- 30:14Speaker 4: New Jersey look forward to supporting you and representing you
- 30:17Speaker 4: in Washington, DC come twenty twenty six.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Yeah, especially to counter the I see that the person
- 30:21Speaker 2: who may be running in Mikey Cheryl's old congressional seat
- 30:25Speaker 2: is a Bernie Sanders person. So somebody ultra ultra ultra left.
- 30:30Speaker 2: So we need to counter that with a Billy Preppa
- 30:33Speaker 2: in congress Air Force, Yes, Air Force veteran running for
- 30:37Speaker 2: congress New Jersey's ninth congressional district during the upcoming midterm elections.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Happy Thanksgiving, my friend, Billy Preppa, Thank you for coming
- 30:44Speaker 2: on this morning.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Take care you bet.
- 30:48Speaker 2: It's Kevira's otowan from Mark on your Wednesday. When we
- 30:50Speaker 2: come back, we'll take your calls. That number is eight
- 30:52Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three
- 30:56Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten for w R.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Now more of the marximone Show on seven to ten
- 31:03Speaker 1: wo R filling in for Mark here again is Ken Rosatto.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Good to be with you. In our last segment of
- 31:09Speaker 2: the hour, let's go to John in his historia, Good morning, John,
- 31:13Speaker 2: good morning.
- 31:14Speaker 5: And almost happy Thanksgiving, although every day should be a
- 31:16Speaker 5: day of thanks Amen, I have been a listener nigh
- 31:21Speaker 5: onto these seventy eight years since my mother's womb. I
- 31:25Speaker 5: just want to correct Americans who misspeak, including yourself. If
- 31:29Speaker 5: we are born here, which I am. I didn't know
- 31:31Speaker 5: any better when I was a kid, so I said
- 31:33Speaker 5: I was a Greek American. Now I say, I'm an American. Heleen,
- 31:36Speaker 5: So you are an American Italian.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I'll give you one more. I'm an American period. That's
- 31:42Speaker 2: fine with me. Not that I don't love my ancestors
- 31:45Speaker 2: coming from Italy, but I am an American and proud
- 31:47Speaker 2: to be. And you go to Italy with him?
- 31:49Speaker 5: You did say Italian American.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I said that. That's what I said to my grandfather.
- 31:53Speaker 2: But my grandfather pointed in my face and said, you're
- 31:56Speaker 2: an American Now he corrected me very quick. Right, Yeah, absolutely,
- 31:59Speaker 2: and we sho be one hundred percent. You too. I
- 32:02Speaker 2: appreciate your call, John, and John's not wrong, Amen to
- 32:08Speaker 2: that have a good road job here, you too. Yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 2: it's so true. I mean my grandfather was when he
- 32:13Speaker 2: came here. He no longer said Italian American, even though
- 32:15Speaker 2: he had an accent. He said, I'm an American. And
- 32:17Speaker 2: when when we go to Italy Italian, so many people
- 32:19Speaker 2: who call themselves Italian Americans go to Italy, We're just
- 32:22Speaker 2: called American. They look at us and say, stop, you're American.
- 32:25Speaker 2: It is what it is, all right, wore the Voice
- 32:28Speaker 2: of New York. This is Ken Rosotto in for Mark.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I'll be back for Mark on Friday. Mark will be

- 32:35Speaker 2: to Mark, and thank you to War and to all
- 32:38Speaker 2: of you for letting me sit in today. Don't go anywhere.
