- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities CE OS and even royalty Adam Cox, these
- 0:21recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's world
- 0:24famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi. It's Adam here.
- 0:41Now this hypnosis session is all about feeling empowered to sell
- 0:47in a way where you can get to the next level.
- 0:51And a lot of people that sell for a living have quite tough
- 0:57objectives and targets and KPIs and it can be quite a stressful,
- 1:02pressured environment. And I my first career was in
- 1:06sales and I think it's almost. Gladiatorial.
- 1:09In the sense that if you can't do it, you don't tend to last in
- 1:14that industry. But if you can, your income is
- 1:17proportionate not to how hard you work or how much you work,
- 1:22but to the results that you generate.
- 1:24And for me, that was really appealing.
- 1:26A lot of the linguistic skills that I learn in terms of
- 1:29hypnotherapy and neurolinguistic programming came from a book
- 1:33called Persuasion Engineering by Richard Bandler and John
- 1:36Lavelle. And I treated my first two jobs
- 1:39in sales. As a way.
- 1:41To practice language techniques and certain kind of hypnosis
- 1:46elements while selling it was great.
- 1:48I was getting paid to become a better hypnotist.
- 1:52Now the client that I was working with would consider
- 1:55themself a average or sporadic performer.
- 1:59They would. Have good weeks.
- 2:01And they would have not so good weeks and they wanted long term
- 2:04to be a top producer, a top performer, the best in their
- 2:07firm. But to get to that, they knew
- 2:09that they had to be a consistent performer.
- 2:12So this hypnosis session is really designed for a particular
- 2:17hypnosis client that wanted to be better in their sales role.
- 2:21But it can be useful for anyone in sales.
- 2:24I think a lot of sales people want to get to the next level
- 2:29up. And the great thing about sales
- 2:31is that you know when you're at that next level up because
- 2:34everything is very transparent and accountable.
- 2:37So you know if your conversion rates are increasing or your
- 2:42average revenue is increasing or your client retention is
- 2:45increasing. It's great if you like numbers
- 2:48and data. Because.
- 2:50You have it all, but it's also a very pressured place for those
- 2:54people that aren't quite hitting those numbers.
- 2:56So this is designed to do an identity shift, to take them
- 3:01from where they're currently at to the identity of a consistent
- 3:05producer, a consistent performer.
- 3:08And linking that to certain identity shifts.
- 3:12What Car would that version of them drive and what watch would
- 3:16they wear? And this is more than just
- 3:19rewards. It's actually a symbol of an
- 3:22identity shift. And by having the identity
- 3:26shift, they don't just get the motivation to get to that level.
- 3:30It then reinforces every time they look at that watch or drive
- 3:33that car, it reinforces that they are now a person capable of
- 3:38producing certain results consistently.
- 3:41If you sell for a living, if you influence people for a living,
- 3:45you might get some value from this session.
- 3:47It was created for an individual.
- 3:49Ignore any suggestions that aren't relevant for you and hone
- 3:52into the ones that are. And if you like the idea of a
- 3:56bespoke session, there will be a link in the description or on my
- 4:01website adamcox.co.uk. Where you'll be able to.
- 4:04Schedule a free consultation call to explore working with me.
- 4:07For now, though, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 4:10won't be distracted or disturbed.
- 4:12Relax. And enjoy the session.
- 4:45Take a deep breath in and as you breathe in, breathe in a
- 4:54wonderful feeling of calm and relaxation.
- 4:59And as you exhale, feel a wonderful feeling of release, as
- 5:10if any pressure, stress, any feeling of feelings of worry
- 5:21connected to things outside of your control seem to be melting
- 5:27away. And as you exhale, just feel
- 5:32them leave your body in your outward breath, enabling you to
- 5:39drift deeper and deeper, relaxed breathing in a wonderful feeling
- 5:49of resourcefulness and exhaling any feelings of tension.
- 6:01And as your body relaxes, feel that tension leave and allow
- 6:09your imagination to awaken. I wonder if you could imagine
- 6:17what it would be like to be in an open Savannah, being able to
- 6:26see hundreds of miles in every direction, open spaces.
- 6:40And I wonder if you could imagine a large tree in that
- 6:50open space. Perhaps you could imagine a
- 6:56sunset behind the tree and just imagine staring into the tree,
- 7:02feeling a connection with the energy of that tree, a universal
- 7:12super consciousness, everything connected to everything.
- 7:20Just imagine as you stare into the tree, you allow yourself to
- 7:28drift deeper and deeper to a place within your own
- 7:36imagination. That's it.
- 7:43And feel that sense of connection with yourself here in
- 7:52this moment. There's nothing you need to
- 7:55solve right now. No targets, no pressure, no
- 7:59KPIs, no objectives. There is nothing to achieve and
- 8:05nothing to chase here in this moment.
- 8:11It's about becoming the version of you that success naturally is
- 8:17magnetized towards. And as you stare into the tree,
- 8:27you can do what we all do when we stare into nature.
- 8:33Go to a space where the mind drifts to memories, to desires.
- 8:45Some people believe that when you conceive of something you
- 8:49desire and open yourself up to the possibility, that intention
- 8:59increases the probability simply through clarity.
- 9:06And you already know what it feels like to perform well.
- 9:11You've had those strong weeks, impactful conversations.
- 9:21You've had moments of confidence of riding that wave, moments
- 9:27where the words just flowed, where you were able to pre
- 9:34handle or navigate objections easily.
- 9:39You've had times where momentum built, amplified.
- 9:47And as you think back to those moments of performing well,
- 9:52producing well, notice something You never accidentally performed
- 10:01well. There was always a version of
- 10:05you behind it, a slightly more confident you, a slightly more
- 10:14certain you, a slightly more optimistic and energized you.
- 10:25And here, in this moment, we're not trying to create something
- 10:30new. We are consolidating all of
- 10:38those different moments and parts into something that will
- 10:43be your default identity. So take a deep breath in and
- 10:52imagine stepping into a space that represents your current
- 10:57identity. Maybe there's a name for that
- 11:03current identity, or just in essence, that version of you
- 11:08that wants it so bad. That roller coaster of good
- 11:15weeks and not so good weeks. You as a sporadic performer.
- 11:24And I want you to meet that version of you.
- 11:30Notice how that version of you stands, how they speak, how they
- 11:38think about or plan the week ahead, how they respond to
- 11:44pressure and setbacks. I want you to see that version
- 11:49of you as a colleague would see that version of you.
- 11:57Not bad, not incapable, focused, but sometimes inconsistent.
- 12:12I want you to thank that part of you, that part of you as a
- 12:18fighter. It's tenacious, it's determined,
- 12:23it's motivated. But you don't want to be a
- 12:27Trier, you want to be consistent, a doer.
- 12:37And sometimes trying makes the result more elusive.
- 12:45So let's welcome a different version of you.
- 12:51Calm, grounded, lively and confident.
- 12:58I want you to bring forth the version of you that is
- 13:02consistently producing 10 KA week every week.
- 13:16The average is 10K or more. That version of you is
- 13:22consistent. Every month is at least 30K or
- 13:28more. And as you look at that version
- 13:35of you notice something. This version isn't depressed or
- 13:44frantic, not desperate and certainly not chasing.
- 13:52This version of you operates differently, Intentionally,
- 13:59optimistically, confidently. And maybe you see them wearing a
- 14:08particular watch. Maybe.
- 14:14Maybe they arrive driving a particular car.
- 14:21Let's test drive not the car, but the person, That version of
- 14:28you that is already a consistent producer.
- 14:34Step into that upgraded version of you now and as you do, feel
- 14:45the liveliness, a lightness, a natural energy in your voice, a
- 14:53sharpness in your tone, an alertness in your eyes.
- 15:00Feel the charisma vibrating, not something you're trying to do or
- 15:08be. Feel it as someone that you are.
- 15:16You enjoy conversations and you bring energy into the room.
- 15:19And now feel confidence, not arrogance and not pressure.
- 15:29Some people consider confidence to be competence based
- 15:33certainty. You know your product, you know
- 15:38your value, and you know that objections are just information.
- 15:46A desire for reassurance. Feel the location of that
- 15:53confidence within and now activate optimism.
- 16:03Every call is an opportunity, every no is just a feedback loop
- 16:09and ability to refine your skill.
- 16:15Every week resets the scoreboard.
- 16:17I don't want you to feel that optimism where you now expect
- 16:24good outcomes because you create them and now bring forth
- 16:32enthusiasm and passion. You're not selling, you are
- 16:40solving problems. You believe in what you offer
- 16:47and when You have absolute belief certainty in your product
- 16:52and your abilities, that belief transfers to them.
- 17:01And allow yourself to feel playfulness.
- 17:08You are deadly serious about your standards and your goals,
- 17:13but there is a lightness in your approach.
- 17:18Feel relaxed enough to just enjoy the process and feel the
- 17:24pressure dissolve. Because performance becomes a
- 17:29fun game, and games are won through repetition and skill and
- 17:37passion. Nobody gets excellent at
- 17:42something they do begrudgingly. World champions come from
- 17:49dedication, determination and passion.
- 17:53So embrace that. And now install resourcefulness.
- 18:02If something doesn't work, you adjust.
- 18:08If certain scripts feel flat, you refine it.
- 18:12If a weak dips, you analyse and respond.
- 18:19And you don't need to be emotional about data.
- 18:22You just use it to know what to work on, what to test, what
- 18:30strategies to refine. And with all of that
- 18:36resourcefulness and playfulness and enthusiasm and discernment,
- 18:42feel a wonderful feeling of competency.
- 18:47That every day you sharpen your skills, you learn faster than
- 18:55average performers, you track numbers, you study the top
- 19:01producers, you model excellence and you work backwards.
- 19:09You start with the end in mind to do 10 KA week consistently.
- 19:18What would your conversion rates need to be?
- 19:21How many appointments would you need?
- 19:25What would your average deal size need to be?
- 19:30This gives you a blueprint to make the game winnable.
- 19:38And finally, let's connect to the speed of learning.
- 19:45Let's unlock accelerated learning for exponential
- 19:52competency within you. Every objection improves you.
- 19:58Every conversation upgrades you. You add value on every call and
- 20:05you adapt rapidly. You're discerning and protective
- 20:12of your time. You're happy to wind calls down
- 20:18that have no more value. Deploying your time on doing
- 20:22things that give you that return on your investment of time you
- 20:28will not fix. You're in flow.
- 20:31You are evolving. The sporadic performer is
- 20:43obsessed with short term tactical thoughts.
- 20:50What can I do to hit this? What can I do to achieve that?
- 20:57The consistent performer asks the same questions with a
- 21:03different tonality. How can I achieve this?
- 21:11What can I do to achieve these objectives?
- 21:18And when? The same question comes from a
- 21:21place of optimism, confidence, self belief and curiosity, the
- 21:30same question generates different answers when it's said
- 21:37in a frantic, disbelieving tone. How can I hit this goal?
- 21:46It can feel beyond reach. Unachievable.
- 21:51A self fulfilling prophecy? The consistent performer asks
- 21:59how do I operate strategically today and this week?
- 22:08You deep down already know that consistent behaviour creates
- 22:12consistent outcomes. And you're just a few weeks away
- 22:20from unleashing this new identity.
- 22:25And it's the identity that sustains the results.
- 22:32You are no longer trying to have a good month.
- 22:37You are becoming someone who naturally produces 10K plus
- 22:43weeks. And when you cross 10K for three
- 22:49weeks in a row, imagine seeing yourself buying that watch, not
- 22:56as a reward, but as confirmation, a symbol that you
- 23:01have mastered time. A reminder that your time is
- 23:07valuable because your competency is real.
- 23:14See the style of that watch? Feel the weight of that watch on
- 23:18your wrist. It doesn't represent luck.
- 23:22It represents playful discipline, consistency,
- 23:27upgraded standards and now allow yourself to move forward in time
- 23:33with that. Consistency in weeks has become
- 23:37consistency in months. I want you to imagine the first
- 23:44two months in a row of doing more than 30K, 30K or more the
- 23:51first month, and then again another 30K.
- 23:58And I want you to imagine picking up that brand new black
- 24:02Mercedes. You know the one, the GLA 450.
- 24:10Imagine climbing in, smelling the smell of that new leather.
- 24:19Feel how comfortable it feels. Not flashy, but solid, grounded,
- 24:27reliable, a representation of qualities within you Feel how
- 24:36you would feel sad in that driver's seat and just feel what
- 24:42that car symbolizes. Elegance, consistency,
- 24:47stability, predictability of performance.
- 24:53It's not about ego. The car is just evidence of a
- 24:59shift in your identity, a consolidation of your identity.
- 25:06You are now someone who produces week after week, month after
- 25:14month, and someone like that drives a car like this.
- 25:24You are no longer sporadic. You are structured, you are
- 25:30consistent, You are adaptable. You learn quickly, you improve
- 25:40daily, you generate momentum and then you sustain momentum.
- 25:50Sales is no longer emotional, no longer that roller coaster.
- 25:57It is mathematical effort, time, skill times, Consistency equals
- 26:08results and you are in control of all three.
- 26:16And when setbacks occur, no failure, no guilt, no shame, no
- 26:21collapsing. You just adjust.
- 26:26Because those top performers are not those that never have a bad
- 26:31week or a bad month. They are those who respond
- 26:36intelligently to dips and now allow your nervous system to
- 26:50associate activity with opportunity, objections with
- 26:58feedback, repetition with mastery, and consistency with
- 27:08identity. And I wonder if you can imagine
- 27:16the next few weeks. Imagine how that version of you
- 27:21is slightly different, subtly but consistently different.
- 27:29Smiling more, more relaxed, optimistic, energetic, prepared,
- 27:35focused. And I want you to see see
- 27:45yourself achieving these milestones where one 10K week
- 27:52becomes a second 10K week, and then a third one good month
- 27:59becomes a second. Others begin to notice the shift
- 28:07that created within you already because you notice that you feel
- 28:17different, more solid, more certain, less reactive, and more
- 28:23intentional and deliberate. It's not a case of if you become
- 28:31that consistent performer, just a matter of when and when you
- 28:38become that consistent producer. This is the foundation of
- 28:44becoming the firm's future. Top.
- 28:47Producer. Not luck, not hype.
- 28:52Identity, consistency, competency compounded, and when
- 29:02you're unconscious is willing to embrace this evolution from
- 29:10where you are now to this consistent performer, Let me
- 29:13know by nodding your head. That's it.
- 29:21So imagine staring into a tree, there in the open wide spaces of
- 29:27the Savannah as it's time to leave this place.
- 29:34That's it. Take a deep breath in through
- 29:38your nose and out your nose. Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your
- 29:43toes. Connect and calibrate into the
- 29:45here and the now as I count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 29:49Starting to count 123 waking up 456 more alert 7-8.
- 29:56Open your eyes. Open your eyes, 910.
- 29:59Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
